This is a story about how the main characters will go back in time to the battle of the Somme and survive World War 1,World War 2,the Cold War and the present day. They will meet somepony from the 'waring' times that help them survive.
This is the story on how the main characters came to be and how their decisions will eventually lead to a war with our world. This is inspired from DisneyFinatic2364's Bride of Discord(BOD) and Daughter of Discord(DOD). This is NOT a sequel to DOD. It includes elements from it only. This is a story about how the main characters will go back in time to the battle of the Somme and survive World War 1, World War 2, the Cold War and the present day. After that they will return to Equestria on 1st July 2016.This story WILL include the horrors of war from World war 1 and 2 and the Korea and Vietnam war later in the story, So sorry for that.
After a few years to the events in Daughter of Discord(DOD), Screwball and Mothball decided that it is time for them to have a baby. The day before they have sex, they both sit in a room discussing on what would their baby be like.
"Hey mothfy, what do you think our baby would look like?" Screwball asked.
"I think our baby will have lollipop eyes, have draconequus powers, and be a filly" Mothball repiled childishly.
"Come on Mothfy, who says it is definately a filly, it could be a colt and be a changeling, and having changeling powers." Screwball repiled while bouncing on the bed.
"Whatever it will be, I am sure that we will love it all the same."
Screwball gave a nod to Mothball's statement and said," Let's talk about this another time,sweetie,let's go to sleep, I'm tired."
As though on cue, both Mothball and Screwball lie in bed,falling asleep.
After a couple of weeks since that day, Screwball started to show symptoms of prenangcy. After Mothball finished his work, he brought Screwball to the ponyville hospital,to see why Screwball has those symptoms. After clearing administartion and Screwball being checked by a doctor,Mothbal and Screwball was waiting for the Doctor's report. "Is she going to be ok, Doc?" Mothball asked with concern.
"Don't worry she is fine."The Doctor said clamly.
"If I am ok, then why do I feel nauseous and feel like throwing up all the time?" Screwball asked with concern.
"Congratulations Screwball, You are a few weeks pregnant."
The couple stared into space into a short silence before Screwball broke the the silence.
"Say that again, Doctor."
"Congratulations Screwball, you are a few weeks pregnant."
"Are you saying that I'm Pregnant, Doctor?"
"Yes."
"We are going to have a child...We are going to have a child! Screwy, Do you know what this means?"
"That I will be a mother and that you will be a father!"
"Ok, Will you two please clam down!!"
There was a awkward silence in the room.
"Ok, since the two you had calmed down I will start explaining things that you need to watch out for during Pregnancy."
"You will need to watch what you are eating, especially chocolate milk, as too much of it is not good for the baby. Don't exercise too much, It will affect the baby in your womb, etc..."
After visiting the Doctor,The couple started to talk about their new baby while walking home. "How do you think my parents will react to the baby?"
"I think that they will love it, I mean you are giving them a grandchild after all."
"I guess you are right, so what gender do you think our baby will be?"
"I think that either gender will be fine, I wonder what powers this filly or colt will have, will this baby inherit your powers or mine?"
"I don't really care, what matters is that it is our baby."
"You're right."
The couple has been so engaged in their talk that they did not realise that they have reached their home already. Once they entered their home, Discord and Fluttershy was sitting in the living room. Discord asked the couple,"So how was your day? Why are you so distracted, you almost hit the door just now."
Screwball looked at Mothball, signaling him to say the big news.
Mothball went back a few steps and take a deep breath before saying, "The reason why we are back so late was that I brought Screwball to the hospital and at the hospital, we found out that Screball was ...... Pregnant."
"She is Pregnant!?" Fluttershy screamed while Discord was looking angrily at Mothball.
"Mothball, you have a lot of explaining to do." Discord said while staring directly into Mothball's eyes.
"It all started with Screwy wanting to have a child"
"Me? You said you wanted a child!" Screwball said as she was pointing her hoof to Mothball.
"I don't care who started it, tell us what happened!" Discord said with a intimindating and anxious tone.
"Well, it started out like this...." Mothball said,detailing what had he and she had done during that night.
After they had explained all the events, Discord and Fluttershy scolded them for commiting such an act and also so asked a important question,"Do you want to keep the baby?"
Mothball and Screwball looked at each other and both noded before they said,"YES!!!!!"
Fluttershy then said,"Are you guys sure? Taking a baby is a huge responsibility."
"Yes, we are sure."
"Since you are sure that you will keep the baby, there is something that you will need to know first. Mothball, follow me, Screwy, follow your mother."
Screwball and Mothball headed to their respective places, learning about the responsibility about having the baby and what both sides should do during Pregnancy period.
A couple of months passed peacefully during Screwball's pregnancy period. Screwball was experiencing a little abnomally, she finds herself wanting to drink more chocolate milk and eat more cotton candy during her pregnancy period. She was also experiencing symtoms of pregnancy,like throwing trantrums and throwing up more frequent than usual. But for her little child, she was willing to do anything for her.
The day for Screwball's child birth came sooner than expected. It came when Screwball was at home, resting at home from her busy work, now reduced signficantly due to her pregnancy.
Luckily, Mothball was home, as he was resting from his work too, when it came. When Mothball heard Screwball yelling from upstairs, he rushed into the room and was suprised at what he saw.
Screwball yell out faintly, "Bring me to the Hospital, I think it's coming out now."
Still trying to understand what is going on, Mothball stood still there for a moment. When Mothball get the picture, he went to ponyville requesting for a pony to bring Screwball to the hospital. The only pony that was avaliable was Derpy, who was wondering in the streets of ponyville as she was waiting for Doctor Hooves to be back.
Mothball saw her and called out to her, "You,a....Derpy is it? I need your help to carry a mare to the ponyville hospital." Derpy looked dumbfounded and repiled, "Sure, what did you need me to do?"
Mothball,still in panic,yelled" I need your help to carry a mare to the ponyville hospital!!"
"Sure,where did this mare lived?"
"Come with me, I will show you the way."
Mothball grab Derpy's hooves and fly up.
"Where are you taking me?"
"To Screwball, she is about to have her child and I can't bring her to the hospital as she is too heavy for me to drag or carry her there."
"Oh, I see. Let's hurry then."
Both ponies fly to the scene as fast as their wings could bring them. Upon reaching Screwball's place, Mothball was shocked to see his mare unconcious. Seeing Screwball unconcious Derpy said, "You take her left hooves, I will take her right hooves."
Mothball did what he was told and Both ponies carried her through the skies of ponyville until they have reached Ponyville Hospital. They put her down and started to carry her into the hospital. When they have reached inside the hospital,a nurse,who was there, recognised the pony that Mothball and Derpy had brought and started to ask, "What is her condition?"
"I think she is giving birth but how she got unconcious is still unclear."
"Ok, I will get the doctor, you two first find a way to wake her up and lay her over there." The nurse said,while pointing to a set of empty chairs in the administartion room.
Derpy and Mothball did what they were told. Derpy laid her down while Mothball was shouting at her, trying to get her awake.
"Come on,Screwball it is no time to sleep,wake up."Mothball shouted panickly wile slaping Screwy cheeks.
"......where am I?"
Mothball stopped doing what he is doing and stared momentary into space before saying, "You are in the hospital, dear."
Just as he finished his sentence, a doctor came and with a couple of hospital staff pushing a strecther. The hospital staff put Screwball onto the strecther and move her to the operating room. "Who is her husband?" the doctor asked.
"Me." Mothball repiled while raising one hoor in the air.
"Ah you, follow me into the operating room. And the other mare, you can help deal with administartion for Screwball"
"Sure thing, Doctor." Derpy said as she went to the Administartion counter.
Whereas, Mothball followed the doctor into the operating room.
Due to the fact that Screwball was unconcious and that Mothball is outside the Operating room the whole time, the couple did not see the baby the entire time. A few moments later, Screwball was put in a ward and Mothball followed her there and went to her ward, to be in company with her mare. Whereas, Derpy has left the hospital to look for his stallion after she completed the Administartion stuff.
Ponyville hospital,Screwball's ward, a few hours later
Mothball was the first pony to wake up in the room.
Mothball was still a bit sleepy from the nap he had taken.Seeing that Screwball is still asleep, He came down from his position and said, "Sweet dreams, Screwy."
He then walk out of the room as quietly as possible.
Just as he walk out of the room, he saw Discord and Fluttershy coming towards him.
"Hi Mothball, we have heard that Screwy had just given birth, so how is she?"
"Still asleep. By the way, who told you about Screwball giving birth? I don't remember telling you guys that."
"Derby told us last night, she came to our castle and told us everything that happen."
"Oh, I see, I will thank her later. So, have you see the baby yet?"
"No. We wanted to see Screwy first before we see the baby."
Discord and Fluttershy entered Screwball's ward while Mothball went to get food from the Hospital canteen.
"Wow, if she is has not just given birth, I might not belive that Screwy will sleep for that long peacefully." Discord said, as he was looking at his sleeping daughther.
"Discord, how can you say that to our daughther?!"
"Sorry, it is just that being in a hospital is not fitting for me.I mean, I am the god of chaos and that Screwy usually don't sleep so peacefully."
"Fine, just don't say that again"
"Ok. So, seriously speaking, what do you think the baby is?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that Screwy is a draconequus and that Mothball is a changeling, so what do you think the baby will be?
"We will see the baby later, as I have said, no matter what it is, it is still our grandchild."
"I coudn't agree more....." Discord was about to say something but was interrupted by Mothball entering the room with hospital food.
"Food is here!"
"Thank you, Mothball." Fluttershy said,taking a bowl of porridge from the tray Mothball is holding.
Discord and Mothball also take the porridge from the tray.
Just as they are eating, Screwball woke up from her sleep and said, "Where am I?"
The trio was a bit startled at Screwball's sudden action.
There was a awkward silence before Dicord repiled, "You are in the hospital, Screwy."
"But..but...How did I get here? I know that we are in the hospital but I don't know how did I get here."
"Well, it is a long story, you see it started when you screamed for help......."
"Oh, I see, I must thank derby later for bringing me here later. But first, how is the baby?"
"Well, you see, non of us has seen the baby yet." Mothball repiled with a bit of guilt showing on his face.
"Ok, when we are done eating, we are going to the nursery room to see this baby." Screwball said as she is taking a bowl of porridge from the tray that is on a table next to her bed.
Ponyville Hospital,Nursery room walkway,half an hour later
"Are you excited dear, we are going to meet Screwy's child!" Fluttershy said in a high pitch voice.
"Yes, But there is no need to say that in a high pitch voice." Discord repiled.
"Are you exicted Mothfy? I am so exicted that I could eat an entire chocolate house in a minute."
"Well, yes. Of course I am excited to finally see the child, whether it is a filly or a colt."
Just as they were entering to walkway, they saw an active nurse walking down the walkway.
"Excuse me, nurse, could you tell me where Screwball's baby is?"
"Sure, It is in the third and fourth Nursing care unit(NCU) from the left."
Mothball and Screwball froze as they process the information the nurse was telling them. Discord and Fluttershy has the same reaction but processed the information faster than Screwball and Mothball.
While the discord family was processing the information they have just heard, the nurse, a bit shocked at their reaction, asked them, "Hello,is any pony there?"
No reply. The nurse asked again, "Hello, is any pony there?"
This time, it was Fluttershy who responded, "Are you sure,nurse? I thought Screwy only had one baby."
"No. I am pretty sure she has two babies. One colt and one filly." The nurse repiled, looking at a list of records for which baby belonged to which pony.
"Thank you, nurse."
"Oh, before I forgot, later remember to fill in their names of the two babies at the Administartion (Admin) counter."
"I see, we will do it later."
With that the nurse left,attending to other matters.
"I have two Babies?" Screwball said with disbelief.
"Let's go see them, shall we?" Mothball said, hoping to proof that they are Screwball's babies and not another ponies' baby.
Screwball gave a nod and walked to the window pane that in between the nursery room and the walkway.
There are quite a number of babies inside the nursury room.
The baby in a NCU third from the left (of the room) is a filly that is a earth pony that has a pink coat, yellow mane with green highlights and light blue eyes with white swirls. The baby in a NCU fourth from the left (of the room) is a colt that looks like an alicorn but his horn and wings are black in colour and have holes in it, a lavender coat, a violet with a stripe of pink and purple mane, with yellow crossed/Derp eyes with pink swirls.
"They definitely are my babies, I wonder what we should name them." Screwball asked, while still looking at the babies.
"I think we should name the colt Sparkball, as he looks more 'outstanding' to the filly." Mothball repiled.
"Then, what about our filly?" Screwball asked, pointing to the filly next to Sparkball.
"I think we should name her Rachel Glimmer because she looks like a draconequus, just like you, Screwy."Fluttershy said, pointing at the filly.
"I think those are great names, don't you think so?" Screwball asked Discord.
"Sure, It is your babies after all." Discord said while looking at the cute babies inside the nursery.
"I will go to the Admin counter to fill their names later, right now, I only want to watch those cute little babies of mine."
After 2 weeks of staying in hospital, Rachel and Sparkball (also known as Sparky) could finally go home to stay with Scewball's family. There was some celebration in Sugar Cube Corner for the Rachel and Sparkball joining the family.
Celebration at Sugar Cube Corner,2.30 p.m
There is a lot of festivities going on in Sugar Cube Corner. Pinkie Pie invited the mane 6, Starlight Glimmer,the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Derpy's family and Fluttershy's family.
"Fluttershy, congratulation on your new grandson and daughthers!" Starlight Glimmer siad, while eating a muffin prepared by Derpy for the party.
"Thanks girls, you gals are the best any pony could have."
"By the way Fluttershy, what do you think of Rachel and Sparky?"Pinkie pie randomly asked.
"I don't know, but I know Rachel is a draconequus and that Sparky is a changeling and a draconequus. I only hope they do not become like my husband."
"What?!" The mane 6 screamed at the news, fearing that Rachel or Sparkball will become like Discord.
"Don't worry, Sparky and Rachel won't become like Discord, I mean, look at Screwy, she did not become like Discord." Fluttershy said, hoping to persuade the mane 6 not to worry much about it.
"Fluttershy, I know that you do not want us to worry but Rachel and Sparky is a Draconequus. How can you ask us not to worry?" Rarity asked.
"I know they won't because she is born by Screwball."
The mane 6 let out a sigh. Twilight thought: Fluttershy is right, since Screwball did not become like Discord when everypony says she would, who is to say that Rachel and Sparky will.
"I hope what you say is right, Fluttershy, if not." Twilight said, clinging on to hope that FLuttershy is right.
"With that over with, let's get this party started!" Pinkie said, trying to get the bad thoughts out of the mane 6.
With that the converstion ended and the festivities resumed.
Party at Sugar Cube Corner,7 p.m.
All the ponies in the party were starting to go home, except for the mane 6 and Fluttershy's family.
"The dinner will be ready at 7.30." Mrs cupcake yell out from the kitchen.
"Ok" Everyone in the place repiled.
After everypony has gone home, the remaining ponies has gathered at the table talking about the Rachel and Sparkball's powers.
During the discussion, Rachel and Sparkball was left unattended as everypony is in the discussion, Discord has put a no chaos magic and changeling magic spell on them and that they are asleep.
What they did not know was that Sparkball was reading a book about World war 1 while all the ponies are outside.
After much discussions, the mane 6 and Fluttershy's family conculded that they will be placed under close supervision for thier childhood, so that they will not be drawed to the 'bad' side.
The heated dicussion about the powers that Rachel and Sparky could have, the threat that they could pose to Equestria and how to deal with this threat has wore out the ponies.
Dinner was surprisingly quiet, usually the mane 6 would be talking about some recent episodes in thier lives, but the discussion would leave them so tired that Applejack has almost hit her head on her food.
Party at Sugar Cube Corner, the fourth wall 'room' ,3 p.m
"Do you really think that Pinkie Pie is the only one who breaks the fourth wall here?"
"Hey, Sparky, that's my thing" Pinkie pie said to Sparky.
"Oh, sorry, I did not see you here."
"Never mind, so how do you enjoy doing this breaking the fourth wall thing?"
"I think it is pretty cool, I mean the fun part is that nopony knows except for you."
"So, do you know where I put my party cannons?" Pinkie asked, disbeliving what Sparky had said.
"I know where to put one, but it is a secret."
"If you don't mind me asking, how do you get here anyway?"
"The same way you got here, silly."
"I think you are the worst pony I met here, I mean that you don't even know how to crack jokes here."
"I know, but considering what I had seen in my book, I do not feel like it."
"All you read is about some people dying, what is so bad about that."
"It is bad because.... oops, almost spoiled the story for the people reading this."
"Oh ya, later you will do that thing in the story."
"I blame my writer for that thing I will need to do later."
"But, don't worry, in this series, we would not spoil the story except the author's notes"
"By the way, how did you get the book that you are holding?" Pinkie asked, pointing to the WW1 book on his back.
"It is simple, I go to a Human library to borrow this book."
"So, what did you learn from reading this book?"
"I learn that WW1 is horrible but it has changed their world forever and that I learned about their tatics used in the war which will be useful later in this story."
"Almost forget that you will be needing that later."
"Pinkie, can you promise me something?"
"Sure, what do you want me to promise you?"
"Promise me that you will not tell anypony about this."
"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye," Pinkie did the action as she is saying that.
"You has to promise me that I will be with you during your adventure later."
"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye," Sparky did the action as he is saying that.
Sparkball and Rachel was sleeping when their parents was discussing something upstairs.
"So, when do you think will they use their powers?" Screwball asked worriedly.
"Screwy, what do you mean by that?"
"My father said that I started using my power since I was in the nursery room with Dinky, they should have used their powers at least once when they are in the nursery room, but when I asked the doctor, neither of them have used their powers when they are in the nursery room, I fear that they may look like a draconequus but they cannot not act like one. Do you get what I mean?!" Screwball's started to panic and started to walk in circles around her room.
"Look Screwy, what will come, will come. Whether they have or do not have powers, they will always be our babies." Mothball said with a calm tone.
"I hope you are right Mothfy." Screwball said, before sitting next to Mothball.
"Don't look so down, dear. They will be draconequuses in our heart, whether they have powers or not.
Twilight's castle, the day after the party, 2.30 p.m
Princess Twilight finally woken up from her tiring day at the party. She reluctantly got up from her crystal bed and decided took a stroll in the castle.
While strolling around the castle, not far from where her bedroom was, she found Spike, sleeping on the cystal floor.
"Spike, wake up."
Spike yawned before saying, "Rarity, I love you..." and went back to sleep.
Twilight look at Spike before going back to her bedroom, looking at the scenery around Ponyville when she realised that she has not told Celestia, Luna and Cadance of the two new Draconequus that has join Discord's family.
Twilight ran towards Spike and started to shake the dragon violently and started yelling, "Spike, wake up! I have something important that I need you to do."
Spike woke up a few moments later and started to get up and yelled, "Alright Twilight, I am awake! What do you need me to do?"
Twilight stop shaking Spike and took two scrolls and quill and started writing. Spike looked at Twilight and almost said, Are you serious, Twilight? You woke me up to see you write letters?
After Twilight finish writing, she handed Spike two scrolls and said, "Spike, deliver one to Celestia and one to Cadance."
Spike threw Twilight a angry glare before he blew ou two green flames that transported the letter to Cadance and Celestia respectively.
Royal sisters' castle, the day after the party, 3 p.m.
Princess Luna was sleeping while Princess Celestia was managing the day court.
Princess Celestia was interogating somepony about a crime he did when the letter appeared in front of her. Celestia put the letter aside to continue the interogation.
After the interogation was complete, Celestia opened the letter that Twilight has send.
The letter was writtened as follows:
Dear Celestia, Screwball has given birth to two Draconequus, one colt and one filly. The colt is called Sparkball, is a half draconequus and half changeling. Seems suspicious, put more caution and attension on this one. The filly is called Rachel, a draconequus. Seemed ok, need more studying. We have decided to keep Rachel and Sparkball under close surpervision to know their developments with draconequus and changeling magic respectively. I fear another Discord fiasco, I will update ASAP on their magic development. Your fellow co-princess, Twilight Sparkle.
Celestia read the letter and felt a bit shocked but did not show it in front of her guards.
Cadance 's castle, same day, 3.30p.m.
Cadance got the same letter as Celestia. She was glad that Screwball had given birth to two new babies but still felt a bit uncertain about them.
She would tell this news later to Shining Armor.
When Shining Armor came home later that day, Shining Armor seems more worried than ever.
Shining Armor thought: With the addition of two new draconequus, the defence of equestria would be severly threaten should there be another Discord fiasco. What should we do?
"Cadance, I think we should increase the number of guards in ponyville," Shining Armor suggested.
"What? I don't think that is necessary."
"But it is! With the extra guard pressence, we could see for ourselves the progress that these two draconequus has."
"Even if I agree, won't it be highly suspicious? There is no guards in ponyville before,except when the princesses are there, how do you expect me to put troops there?"
"We won't, I will assign my greatest spy in the crystal guard to watch them."
"Fine, I will bring that up with them tomorrow morning," With that the conversation ended.
Canterlot Castle, same day, 7p.m.
Celestia gave Luna to read the letter later that day. She appeared to be showing no response.
Luna thought of a different approach to the problem. She thought: If we are to make sure that they do not fall to the dark side, they should be kept as far away as Discord's reach. We should be the ones watching them, not that Discord family.
She decided to bring the matter up to her sister the next day.
Canterlot Castle, the next day
There was a big meeting in the castle today to discuss about the brith of the two draconequus. All those who are present are the 4 princesses.
Shining Armor was at the Crystal Empire dealing with Flurry Heart.
"Ok, we know that there is a new situation in ponyville, I called all of you here today is to discuss what to do with Rachel and Sparkball." Celestia said with a serious tone.
"I think we should put in some guards in Ponyville to monitor the development of magic of these two draconequus."
"No, I think we should kep them here in caterlot and take them in as our pupil, to keep a close eye on the matter and to make sure they do not fall into the path of the dark side."
"I agree, Luna. Twilight, be the judge, which method would you choose?"
Twilight stared into space, not knowing what to reply. She thought: On one hoof, Cadance method would make sure that Rachel and Sparkball be with their family. On the other hoof, Luna's method would separate Rachel and Sparkball from their family but has a higher chance to suceed as well.
Twilight, with a heavy heart, said, "We will go with Luna's plan."
With that, Twilight walked out of the room immediately, trying to hide her true emotions.
The remaining Princesses looked at Twilight, and said nothing nothing for a moment.
To break the silence, Luna said, "Let's discuss about how do we convince Screwball and Mothball about giving their child to us."
Discord's home
It was unusual for them to get mail because ponies usually come to thier house directly if they have any problems.
When Derpy arrived on the main door, Discord and Screwball was a bit surprise.
When Screwball answered the door, Derpy gave the letter and said, "Here's a letter for you." and flew off.
The letter was written as follows:
Dear Screwball and Mothball, We have decided to take Rachel and Sparkball in as our students. I am sorry to say that they will need to be in canterlot with us for a long time. More details will be discussed when we come to take them within one week of this letter recieval. Yours Truly, Princess Luna
Screwball stared at the letter dumbfounded. When she showed Discord the letter, Discord went immediately in his room, slamming the door shut. Screwball later showed the letter to Mothball but also look dumbfounded. When Screwball showed the letter to Fluttershy, Fluttershy looks pretty happy and sad at the same time.
"What does this letter says?" Screwball asked.
"It means that Rachel and Sparky are going to be the Celestia's and Luna's students, but they would have to be in Canterlot for a long time."
Screwball and Mothball stared into space, not knowing what to do or say.
Screwball was the first to say, "If it is good for them, then I don't mind."
With that, the decision is made. Screwball and Mothball would give up Rachel and Sparkball to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna respectively, unknown of the Princesses' true intendsion.
