Danny feels like his Phantom Funhouse is incomplete. So, he decides to go into the future of Applejack's Barn, only to learn of something new. So, he takes a job at Applejack's Barn: The Horror Attraction. However, he learns that he is not alone. He discovers that Starlight had died to the Spirits of the Mane 6 and Applebloom. Being the animatronic known as Sunset Shimmer, can she finished the last of the past by killing Danny? Can Danny survive Starlight's hell-bent wrath or will he fall victim to her like many others.
A week has passed since my adventure in Pinkie Pie’s Party Palace. I was leaving Twilight’s Castle and going to Phantom’s Funhouse. I decided to pay a visit at Sugar Cube Corner. When I arrived, I was greeted by Pinkie Pie and, to my surprise, Shadow. A few days ago, Pinkie had ran into Shadow, who so happened to have been one of the Lunar Clan Guards, he was an Elite. Shadow was an experimental creation from a Griffin named Gerald. Gerald had died of old age and his granddaughter had passed away as well from illness. Shadow had some great power in him, bestowed by Discord himself. Anyway, Pinkie had run into Shadow and with some steady time, Shadow broke his shell and began to become friendlier around us. Pinkie and Shadow are even dating and both me and him hang out every now and then. We spar as well, trying to build up on our power and skills. Charming joins us every now and then when he has spare time. Speaking of spare time, Charming was always busy with his military and it was getting to his head. So, I had personally seen to it that he gets the week off to spend time with his wife and kids while Octavia handles the pressure.
Pinkie greeted “Oh, hey Danny! What would you be having today?”
“I’ll take the usual Pinkie.”
“Okie Dokie Lokie!” Pinkie said before leaving.
I chuckled and began to wait. My vacation away from duties has been awesome so far. But now to tell what events have been happening…
Well, we can start with Twilight. Ever since her transformation to a Vampony Lord, she has learned self-control over her blood urges. I gave her a good supply of Plasma Juice. Besides that, she has been suited in with her new form. She has even grown even more powerful after drinking her friends’ blood, but she is nowhere close to my level of power. Now for Rainbow Dash…I don’t know where to start. It has been confirmed that Rainbow is pregnant and she is not to do anything reckless but reckless is her thing so I had a clone of me watch over her 24/7. Besides that, the baby is doing good so far. We already did Pinkie so I’ll move on to Applejack. AJ has been having a lot of free time but she can’t find a good date. I looked into her dreams and saw that her heart belongs to Charming Thunder. She even dreams of the day they get together. I showed Charming with a share dream and he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. I even laughed when I saw both Charming and Applejack accidently kissing and they never forgave me for that but I told them that I’ll never tell anyone if they just admit to each other that they love each other. I’ve been going through books to see if I can find a loop hole in the whole ‘Mare and Stallion’ relationship and I discovered that a single Stallion can have three in a love herd. So, technically, Applejack and Twilight would be Charming’s herd while Rainbow would be in my herd. Anyway, next is Rarity. Rarity has been busy herself and both she and Spike had entered a relationship, at last. While I don’t talk about it, I think she has been busy too much lately. Fluttershy has been busy and I think both she and Discord are dating or something. Anyway, things in life have been doing great.
I was waiting for my treat and it came. It was a chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream on a cone. I began to have the ice cream after thanking Pinkie and when I finished, I left and went back to the Funhouse.
Today was the day I was going to open the Phantom’s Funhouse. But I had a feeling for a bit that I’m missing something. When I arrived, I see my animatronic friends doing all different stuff. I took out my book and opened it, seeing the first adventure. I skipped some pages before finding the next page. I really need to bookmark the blank page. I began to make my signature for the next adventure, but this time, I added Time Travel and I am going Thirty Years into the future of the place. I watch as my vision fades into darkness.
I was on a bed. I got up and had my breakfast and everything. I got the newspaper and looked on it. I didn’t see anything important but then I caught sight of something I would never guess to be opened again.
Applejack’s Fright: The Horror Attraction Local amusement park is getting ready to scare your socks off with a new attraction based on the unsolved mysteries of Applejack’s Barn. Featuring actual relics from the decades-old attraction is guaranteed to bring back your childhood in the worst possible ways.
‘Yeah, like how I worked for many years since 1987 and I haven’t aged one bit.’
I began to look around on the newspaper. There was nothing left to know about. I sigh, realizing that this story is going to horror. I got up and walked over to the garage, opened it to get the bike out, which looked a bit dusty, and I began to drive over to the horror attraction.
Meanwhile…
A crew was at the ruin foundation of Applejack’s Barn. The place was literally buried underground since it was too long it had opened its doors. They managed to find the entrance and they walked in. The place was soaked with water and everything. After exploring a bit, they find something off. They find a room where there was ruined animatronic parts all over the floor. They examined the parts and found little salvageable. They noticed a long hallway and they began to walk down it. When they found themselves in a room, the first thing they noticed was a large pond of dry blood on the ground. At the center of it was a ruined animatronic. It was scrap and everything, but it looked functional enough. They rushed over to it and began to examine it. They noticed it was both metal AND flesh. There was metal plating, along with organs and they got up when they decided. One of them pulled out a communicator and activated it.
The Worker said on his communicator “Boss…we found one. We found an actual one, ruined and scrapped but still functional and usable.”
The workers left a marker and began to leave. However, if the worker had turned, he would have seen the animatronic opened its’ eyes, reveal soulless black eyes with small pure white pupils and a white circle around the pupils. The animatronic grinned with evil.
“After thirty long Celestia forsaken years, I’ll finally unleash my revenge upon the world.” A dark and evil female voice said with pleasure.
The animatronic closed its’ eyes, knowing the time is not yet right to finally act.
I was sitting in my office. Yesterday, I had signed in for a job but I had missed my first Night, but the manager told me that it was no big loss. There was really nothing important to watch over. I was waiting and I began to receive a phone call. I answered and heard a new Phone Guy’s voice.
Phone Dude said “Hey, man- okay, I have some awesome news for you! First of all, we found some vintage audio training cassettes! Dude, these are, like, prehistoric! I think they were, like, training tapes for like, other employees or something like that.”
“Oh really? Are they as old as the Dinosaurs or Predacons? Cause if they aren’t then they aren’t that old.”
“So, I thought we could, like, have them playing, like, over the speakers as people walk through the attraction. Dude, that makes this feel legit, man. But I have an even better surprise for you, and you're not gonna believe this.” Phone Dude continued.
“I probably going to think that-“
Phone Guy 2 interrupted “We found one. A REAL one.”
I looked at the phone and realized they were talking about an animatronic
‘That’s not possible! I took the entire cast with me! Who did I forget!?’
Phone Dude continued “Uh-oh-uh gotta go man- uh, well-well look, i-it's in there somewhere, I'm-I'm sure you'll see it. Okay, I'll leave you with some of this great audio that I found! Talk to you later, man!”
“Well, that was rather-“
Phone Guy said “Uh, hello! Hello, hello! Uh, welcome to your new career as a performer/entertainer for Applejack's Barn.”
“…I spoke too soon. And I thought this guy was dead.”
“Uh, these tapes will provide you with much needed information on how to handle/climb into/climb out of mascot costumes. Right now, we have two specially designed suits that double as both animatronics and suits. So please pay close attention while learning how to operate these suits as accidents/injuries/death/irreparable and grotesque maiming can occur. First and most discussed is how to operate the mascots while in animatronic form. For ease of operation, the animatronics are set to turn and walk towards sounds they hear which is an easy and hands-free approach to making sure the animatronics stay where the children are for maximum entertainment/crowd-pleasing value. To change the animatronics to suit mode, insert and turn firmly the hand crank provided by the manufacturer. Turning the crank will recoil and compress the animatronic parts around the sides of the suit, providing room to climb inside. Please make sure the spring locks are fastened tight to ensure the animatronic devices remain safe. We will cover this in more detail in tomorrow's session. Remember to smile; you are the face of Applejack’s Barn.” Phone Guy explains.
“Alright, at least I know that this was a recording and some other stuff they will probably help me later on.” I looked on a camera. I clicked until I found a camera with an animatronic Sunset looking right at it. She screeched and destroyed the camera. “…At least I know she is coming towards me.”
I lowered the camera and looked about my surroundings. I found an entrance and I see it was a vent opening to my right. I chuckled, grabbed the tablet, and went into the vent.
There was some mechanical stomping as Sunset came in front of the glass to look inside. She sees I was no longer in the room.
Sunset shouted “Impossible!” She looked back to where she came from and groan in disappointment. She knew it was a hunt to see if she could find me or not, since I was somewhere inside the place.
I was at the entrance/exit of the place. I activated the tablet and see myself on camera. I looked at it and waved at it.
“Hi Mom! I’m on TV!”
I looked back down and began to look through cameras and found a camera with a black and white “Mangle” Discord on it. I looked up and began to walk to where it was at. I walked down some hallway and turned and found the Phantom Discord. He looked at me with his jaw open.
PD greeted “Hello Danny.”
“Hello Phantom Discord. Say, you look bored. How about we play a game on the arcade machine?”
Phantom Discord looked like he shrugged his non-existing shoulders and I walked over to a machine. I began to play it and found I was playing a head of Discord while fighting an army of Balloon Spikes.
2 Minutes Later…
I had died in the game and I looked at the, now entertained, Phantom Discord. He thank me before fading away from existence. I looked around and found no sign of him. All I found was bowtie and I grabbed it. Before I could do anything I heard the bell and I left the place.
Later, in the Dream World…
I blinked and I found myself in the Applejack’s Barn place. The place looked soaked and in ruins. However, I heard whirling and I looked at the source and to my surprise, I see Applejack and Pinkie active. They looked to their left and began to walk towards there. I shrugged and followed, wondering where this was going to take me. When we enter the next room, I caught sight of something on the other side of the room. It was Purple Applejack!
Purple Applejack said “Follow me.”
The animatronics had angry expressions and they gave chase. I followed them and I see Purple Applejack going into a long hallway. The other two animatronics wanted to chase but they stopped at the entrance.
Applejack and Pinkie said in unison “Error.”
I instantly knew what was going on. The animatronics weren’t allowed in the room down there! I knew this was a staging area to where they can’t fight, this was a trap. The animatronics wanted to move forward but their programming prevented them from doing it. So, they turned and began to walk away. However, I saw it coming, I saw Starlight charging from the hallway and attacked Applejack with an axe! She managed to pin Applejack to the ground and swing the axe down on her, dismantling her. Pinkie tried to attack but Starlight used her magic to push her back. After dismantling Applejack, Starlight got up and attacked Pinkie. She managed to pin Pinkie down and she began to dismantle her. When Starlight finished, she took her axe and fled back to the other room. I was alone until I saw some lights emitting from the dismantled animatronics and the souls of Applejack and Pinkie left them. I smiled and saw myself fading in the darkness.
I woke up on my bed. That weird dream or vision that I had was still fresh in my mind. I got up and went to go get some refreshments. When I finished drinking my water, I left the place and went to go get some Burger King.
12: 00 AM
I was on my hooves, waiting for the recording then I would walk away in the vent.
Phone Guy said “Uh, hello, hello. Uh, for today's lesson, we will be continuing our training on proper suit-handling techniques.”
“Thrilled. Not like I need to.”
Phone Guy continued “When using an animatronic as a suit, please ensure that the animatronic parts are tightly compressed and fastened by the spring locks located around the inside of the suit. It may take a few moments to position your head and torso between these parts in a manner where you can move and speak. Try not to nudge or press against any of the spring locks inside the suit. Do not touch the spring locks at any time. Do not breathe on the spring locks, as moisture may loosen them, and cause them to break loose.”
“Ok, I’ll take a note on it. ‘Don’t touch, look, breathe, etc. on spring locks.’ Anything else, dead man?” I said with sarcasm.
Phone Guy said “In the case of the spring-locks come loose while you are wearing the suit, please try to maneuver away from populated areas before bleeding out, as to not ruin the customers' experience. As always, if there is ever an emergency, please go to the designated safe room. Every location is built with one extra room that is not included in the digital map layout programmed in the animatronics or the security cameras. This room is hidden to customers, invisible to animatronics, and is always off-camera.”
“Alright, I have two things to say to that. 1) Isn’t that a bit vile, telling me that if I wear one of the Spring Suits, go away from civilian eyes and die. If that is what you are applying, then I lost all remorse to you and the blasted company. And 2) What do you mean there is a hidden room that isn’t on map. I thought I WAS in the safe room but the Animatronics can clearly come in here!”
Phone Guy continued “As always, remember to smile; you are the face of Applejack’s Barn.”
“Thanks for nothing, dead man.”
I grabbed the tablet and went into the vents.
I was back at the exit and I walked over to the Fluttershy head (Which I found creepy). I noticed a paint bucket there but I didn’t mind it too much. I sat down and pulled out the bowtie.
“What the hell am I supposed to do with this?”
I didn’t mind it much and raised the tablet and looked into the cameras, only to be greeted by a burnt Balloon Spike, who was glaring into the cameras. I lowered it and see Phantom Spike there. Acting quickly, I used the paint bucket and pour the pain on him. PS had his color back and looked at me with an apologetic look.
“Thanks Danny.” PS thanked.
I nodded and PS disappeared. I looked back on the tablet and began to look around the area. Then, I see something on an arcade machine. I was curious about it but lowered the tablet and I got up. That was when I felt a presence behind me and I looked, only to be greeted by a screech from Phantom Fluttershy. She pinned me to the ground and I thought it would all be over. But the next thing I hear stunned me…
PF said with plea “Help me…”
I get up and looked at PF. Then, I began to feel a familiar presence radiating off her. It was my old friend, Ditzy “Derpy” Hooves.
“Derpy? What happened to you?”
PF explained “Well, it all started when Applebloom went missing…I looked everywhere to find her but couldn’t. I was heartbroken when she disappeared from the face of the planet. But then…I met her.”
“Let me guess; Starlight?”
PF continued “Yes. Starlight noticed my sadness and told me that she lost someone close to her. I was lonely since the Doctor was always busy. Starlight and I went on some quality girl time but then one day, she wanted me to divorce the Doctor and come marry her. I said ‘no’ since I couldn’t live without the doctor. However, if I had seen it coming, I would have prevented it. Starlight knocked me out cold and I woke up later in an animatronic suit, Fluttershy. I was chained up and then, Starlight came to visit me along with some Purple Applejack. The Purple Applejack kept calling me a friend but I denied it and then, I was put in the incinerator and burned to death. But before I burned to my death, I heard Starlight whisper ‘You were my only companion in my life.’ So, the next thing I know, I’m here in this place.”
“Well, I see your problem. You know what? I’ll take you and the Phantoms with me back to the real world.”
“I would like that…” PF said.
“Come on now, I think you deserve a hug for your troubles.”
I hugged PF and she vanished moments later. I looked around and only see cupcake on a present. I went over to it and grabbed it. I heard the bell go off and I began to leave.
Later, in the Dreamscape…
I blinked a few times and found myself in the ruined Applejack’s Barn dining room again. This time, I see Twilight and Rarity coming online. They looked to their left side door and began to walk over. I followed them, wondering what is going to happen next. When we reached the next room, we see Purple Applejack again.
Purple Applejack said “Follow me.”
I growled as did the other two animatronics. They began to walk to the next room with haste. They made it and Purple Applejack went up the hallway. The animatronics gasped at the ruin wreck of Applejack and Pinkie. They growled in anger and they began to head up the hallway, only to stop at the entrance. They were saying ‘Error’ as well. They began to back up but it was enough for Starlight to charge from the hallway and engage Rarity first. Starlight used her axe and dismantled Rarity. Twilight tried to attack but Starlight dodged and began to dismantle Twilight with great pleasure. I so wanted to attack Starlight but I couldn’t. Starlight, once finished, left to head back up her hallway. I began to see the world fade away.
I woke up from another vision. I began to wonder why I was seeing these visions. Then, I began to think about Starlight. I got up and went to get some lunch and when I finished; I left the house and decided to go to the Library to see what ever happened to Starlight.
4:30 PM
I was on the computer, looking through the Internet. However, I stopped when I found a file with Applejack’s Barn Employee: Starlight Glimmer. I opened the file and saw what I was looking for.
Name: Starlight Glimmer Species: Unicorn Pony Gender: Female Night Security Guard (Former) Missing: 30 Years ago, shortly after the shutdown of Applejack’s Barn, people reported that her house was abandon. There has been no signs of her for 30 years now. Witness say she wasn’t dead, but no one know for sure. The only thing they say is that Starlight just simply vanished. Relatives: Unknown Status: Unknown Relationship: Vincent “Purple Guy” Waller (Boyfriend)
So Purple was Starlight’s Boyfriend. I began to feel sad for her. When Discord killed Purple, I didn’t know it would hurt her. I began to wonder how sad she must have been. I began to think before smiling. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll be able to bring back Purple from the dead as a Spirit. But what animatronic could I use? The Sunset animatronic and Purple Applejack are haunted, that was for certain. Then, I had an idea and went back to my garage to do something about it.
7:00 PM
I had come back to the garage and had an empty pony animatronic suit. It was a golden version of Fluttershy. She was completely golden with only a purple bow and hat and I smiled.
“Alright. I’ve got the body, now for the spirit. I should lock up here, maybe he was arrive later on.”
I began to lock the garage. However, when it was completely dark in the place, a pair of small pure white pupils appeared.
A female voice said “He cares for Starlight…I think the next time I see him, I should tell him the truth about the animatronic Sunset…”
The eyes disappeared into the darkness.
12:00 AM
I was sitting on my chair, waiting for the next useless recording.
Phone Guy said “Uh, hello? Hello, hello! Uh, there's been a slight change of company policy concerning use of the suits. Um, don't.”
“What do you mean?”
Phone Guy continued “After learning of an unfortunate incident at the sister location, involving multiple and simultaneous spring lock failures, the company has deemed the suits temporarily unfit for employees.”
“Good, not like I was going to touch them anyway.”
Phone Guy replied “Safety is our top priority at Applejack’s Barn, which is why the classic suits are being retired to an appropriate location, while being looked at by our technician. Until replacements arrive, you'll be expected to wear the temporary costumes provided to you.”
“Oh goodie, not like I even need them. I’m not posing in front of the press.”
Phone Guy stated “Keep in mind that they were found on very short notice, so questions about appropriateness/relevance should be deflected. I repeat, the classic suits are not to be touched, activated or worn.”
“Gees, I’m not going to touch the blasted suits. I hate those things anyway.”
Phone Guy said “That being said, we are free of liability, do as you wish. As always, remember to smile; you are the face of Applejack’s Barn.”
“I’ll make sure to keep that in mind.” I began to continue my work. This time, I thought it would be safe to watch from the office.
3:30 AM
Meanwhile outside my front office window…
Sunset was leaning against the wall next to the window. She looked in and sees me. She smiles evilly and walks away a bit. Suddenly, Purple Applejack appeared in front of her and Sunset smiled evilly as did Purple Applejack.
Sunset said “You know what to do.”
“Just to recap on things. You want me to lure him towards the exit/entrance and I battle him. When I kill him, I help you escape from this place and so you can continue your life as a runaway animatronic?” PA reconfirmed.
Sunset answered “That pretty much sums it up Purple Applejack. Any objections?”
PA replied “None whatsoever, I’ve wanted to kill that stallion since 1987. He’s been nothing but trouble. Killing him will bring enough joy to me. I’ll be seeing you soon…Starlight.”
“I told you already, call me Sunset! I died in my previous life, no need for you to call me that now.” Sunset stated.
PA apologies “Sorry, I’ll never get used to the fact of your new life.”
Sunset nodded in understanding and both of them separated from each other.
5:30 AM
I was looking through the cameras until I came across the Fluttershy head camera. There, I see Purple Applejack staring right at it. I lowered it.
“Oh, hell no!” I put the tablet on the desk and pulled out my M45D Tactical Shotgun then lock n’ loaded it. I stored it into my pocket dimension and went into the vents to confront her.
Meanwhile at the Entrance/Exit…
Purple Applejack glared at the camera, not noticing the lights in the room turning on.
“Hey Purple Applejack.” PA looked behind her and see me standing there with an angry expression. “Slither on back to hell, coward.”
Purple Applejack turned to face me and went into a fighting stance.
PA shouted “No way! Come on tough guy, bring it!”
FIGHT!
Purple Applejack screeched and jumped at me. I grabbed both of her hooves, our faces at each other.
PA asked “How you like me now, bulk head?”
“Not fast enough. And not good enough.” I pushed Purple Applejack back. She landed on her flank and had one of her hooves to her face. I teleported behind her and grabbed her from both sides. She looked at me and I picked her up and threw her over my head. Purple Applejack groaned and got up and looked at me. I still had my back turned to her. “I’m way too powerful for you, you’re nothing compared to me.”
Purple Applejack roared with rage and her eyes began to glow red. She jumped at me, performing a new screech. I acted quickly and summoned my shotgun and shot her face. She landed on the ground without a head. I heard something teleporting and I looked. I see a yellow present with red ribbon on it. I grabbed it, put it in my pocket dimension, and left the broken body of Purple Applejack. The lights turned off, the only light source was the glowing head of Fluttershy. There was metal hoof steps approaching and Sunset stopped in front of the body.
Sunset said “Oh no…Who needs a stupid animatronic to do a pony’s job?”
She left to plan her next move.
Later, in the Dreamscape…
I blinked and groaned. I was in another vision. This time, I see only Fluttershy coming online. She blinked and began to walk towards the next room. I followed because I had no actual choice in the matter. I followed her and we see Purple Applejack walking into the next room. We followed and we see the wreckage of Applejack, Pinkie, Twilight, and Rarity. Fluttershy looked horrified and looked down the hallway with an angry expression. Fluttershy attempted to go down but had an “Error” as well. Fluttershy began to back away. She was almost close to leaving until Starlight came out of nowhere and attacked Fluttershy. Using her axe, Starlight dismantled Fluttershy and when she finished, Starlight went back up her hallway.
I woke up from my sleep on my bed. I groan; began to wonder why these visions were so important. I got up and went to get some food and when I finished, I went to the garage. I see the Golden Fluttershy suit haven’t moved. I frown and that was when I felt my ghost sense go off. I looked around and see no ghost. Then, realizing what was going on, I smirked and looked towards the empty suit.
“Wake up, spirit.” At that moment, the dead eyes had pure white eyes appear in them. The eyes looked at me and the suit began to get up. I smiled, knowing that the suit was now bounded to the spirit’s control. “Who are you, spirit?”
GF said “I used to be known as Vincent Waller, or Purple Guy, 30 years ago. Now, because of this suit, I go by the name of Golden Fluttershy, or GF.”
“Hello again, then, Purple. Tell me, what brings you here to me?”
GF replied “It’s about the Sunset animatronic.” My ears perked up when I heard GF mention her. “The Sunset animatronic, like the Mane 6 and Applebloom, is haunted by a vengeful spirit. But not just any spirit, but Starlight’s spirit.”
“But why? She has no reason to be vengeful. Unless…”
“Yes. She hasn’t recovered over the fact that I was killed by you and your animatronic pals. She killed Peter, disguised as me, to get revenge against you. However, you were hardly fazed by his death and that angered Starlight. Then, she thought about hitting something more critical like your animatronic friends. So, after dismantling your friends, she thought it would hurt you more but something else happened. I’m not exactly sure what but something happened to turn her into the animatronic Sunset. You need to stop her before she goes on a killing streak.” GF explained.
“What about you? I own my own place for the animatronics. I can give you both a place in the Funhouse.”
GF replied “While I’m not the one to entertain people, I need a new body. If you can, can you provide me with one?”
“Well, I can make an animatronic body for you.” I began to think of one then smirked “You are an evil spirit, how about an animatronic body with an evil backstory?”
GF began to think and an evil smile appeared on her face.
GF replied “I like that idea. Who did you have in mind?”
“I’ll worry about it later. For now, I need to get ready to fight back Starlight…or Sunset.”
“Good luck. You are going to need it, if you plan to confront my girlfriend.” GF said.
“Thank you.”
I began to leave. GF sat back in her spot and shut down, or what looked like it.
12:00 AM
I was sitting on my chair, wondering how to counter Sunset now. She, no doubt, will be getting serious now. I was waiting for the next phone recording and then the phone click, the message began to play.
Phone Guy said “Hello? Hello? Um, this is just a reminder of company policy concerning the safe room. The safe room is reserved for equipment and/or other property not being currently used and is in fact a safety location for employees only.”
“Really? Then how come that I feel like I am in the Safe room but the animatronics could still come in?”
Phone Guy continued “This is not a break room, and should not be considered a place for employees to hide and/or congregate - and under no circumstance should a customer ever be taken into this room and out of the main show area.”
“I can’t believe this…”
Phone Guy explained “Management has also been made aware that the spring Sunset animatronic has been noticeably moved. We would like to remind employees that this costume is not safe to wear under any circumstances. Thank you and remember to smile; you are the face of Applejack’s Barn.”
“You know, I can think of a song that would suit Starlight well…”
Before I could do anything, I heard tapping and I looked, only to see Sunset staring right out my window. I chuckle nervously and waved before running into the vents. Sunset looked at her left and sees a vent. I managed to pass it before she could enter the vent. I got out and began to run. Sunset got out and began to look around.
“I’m coming for you…” Sunset said in her cold mechanical voice.
I stopped and looked back. It was only a matter of time before I will get caught. I need a disguise. I looked ahead and found some device. I picked it up and began to examine it. It is supposed to be a disguise generator from what I could make out. I pushed a button and felt a change. I see the device gone and I looked at myself. I was now a white humanoid bunny. I cried out in terror. Then, I felt a change again and I looked at myself. I was now a duck and I made an annoyed expression.
A male voice said out of nowhere “Bonus Ducks!” I looked as a rubber duck appeared next to me. “Bonus Ducks!” Four more rubber ducks appeared in front of me and I now had a shock expression on my face. “Bonus Ducks!” Even more rubber ducks appeared around me. I began to hear laughter. “You have done it again, old friend!”
I transformed again and looked down. I was some weird blue man with a blue hat.
‘I look like Mr. Benio.’ I transformed again and I looked like some sort of winter ninja. I changed once more and see I looked like the animatronic Rainbow Dash but a bit different. A bit more of the horror type. ‘It’ll have to do.’ I began to hear some mechanical hooves approaching and I turned to the door. I see Sunset looking from the door then she comes into the room, confused by my new appearance. She didn’t know it was me though, just a fellow animatronic. “Drunk on the battlefield is no way to be son.”
Sunset said “Apologizes.”
I began to see Sunset walking away. When she was gone, I chuckled a bit, knowing the disguised worked. However, that was when I heard a ghostly female voice said from my ear…
Phantom RD said in her glitchy ghostly voice “Ararararararargh me mamamamates!” My left eye widen with shock as I looked to my left, my eye looking at Phantom Rainbow Dash. I chuckled a bit before she pulled out a gold coin and gave it to me. “Yoyoyoyoyoyoyou always be me frienenenenend.”
Phantom RD disappeared and I looked at the gold coin.
‘A bow, a cupcake, a present, and now a gold coin.’ That was when I heard the bell go off. I looked towards the roof and when it finished, I looked towards the way Sunset left and had an angry expression on my face. ‘Don’t think you won yet Starlight. I’ll be back.’ I began to leave, turning off the disguise device.
Later, in the Dreamscape…
I blinked a few times and found out I was at Cloud’s Cove. There, I see Rainbow Dash stepping off her stage and began to head to the main stage. However, when she arrived, she noticed that her friends weren’t on stage. However, she sees Purple Applejack walking away from the other side of the room. She gives chase and finds herself in a room full of broken animatronic parts of Applejack, Pinkie, Twilight, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Rainbow looked in horror and turned to the hallway. She tried to rush down it but she was ‘Error’ for this action. She kept trying to push forward but couldn’t. So, she began to back up to charge forward. However, she saw Starlight charging at her and then pinning her to the ground and began to use her axe to dismantle Rainbow. When she finished, she went up her hallway again.
I woke up from the vision. So now I know what happened to the girls after I left, even though they went with me. But what I don’t know was why did I have these visions. I got up and had some food and water. When I finished, I left to go head to the ruins of Applejack’s Barn.
6:00 PM
I came back with an endoskeleton, parts from Twilight’s design, and some other random parts. I made it back to the garage and closed the garage door and turned on the light. I see GF was still there and I couldn’t feel Purple’s spirit haunting it. I took the endoskeleton and began to make the animatronic.
7:00 PM
I finished the final adjustments. The animatronic looked like Twivine Sparkle. When the programming ended, I felt Purple’s spirit haunting the animatronic. Twivine opened her eyes and looked at me.
“Hey Purple, or do you wish to be called Twivine?”
Twivine said “I’m reborn as this animatronic so I’ll be Twivine.”
I nodded and pulled the cord out of the neck where the connection can be made. Twivine gets up and walks around, testing the new body.
“Well, tonight is my last night. Tonight, I’ll be fighting Sunset and I need you, Twivine, to company me tonight.”
“I can’t intervene with your fight but I can help us out, if needed. I know how to make the rune.” Twivine said.
I nodded.
12:00 AM
I was sitting in my office with Twivine sitting in the room in secret.
“Where is that recording?”
We began to hear the phone ringing then click to play.
Phone Guy said “Uh, hello? Hello? Uh, this is just to inform all employees that due to budget restrictions, the previously mentioned safe rooms are being sealed at most locations, including this one.”
“Really? Then why didn’t they?”
Phone Guy replied “Work crews will be here most of the day today, constructing a false wall over the old door base. Nothing is being taken out beforehand, so if you've left anything inside, then it's your own fault. Management also requests that this room not be mentioned to family, friends or insurance representatives. Thanks again, and remember to smile; you are the face of Applejack’s Barn.”
“Useless as usual.”
Twivine asked “How could you have survived with this advice?”
“With experience back at 1987 and 2004, surviving against her is like a walk in the park.”
“Oh…ok.” Twivine said.
Before I could continue, we heard mechanical footsteps and we looked and see Phantom Applejack walking by our window. I walked out the office and went to talk to her. She stops and looks at me.
“Hello Applejack, how are you doing tonight?”
Phantom AJ said “Hello Danny. I just wanted to say that Sunset will make her move soon-“
The lights in the place suddenly turned on. The lights made Phantom AJ disappeared and I see a hat on the ground. I grabbed it and knew the fight is going to happen now. I left to go find Sunset.
I found Sunset standing still, doing nothing.
“It ends here Starlight! Surrender now!” The suit fell to the ground, it was empty. ‘What!? It’s empty! But how!? Where is Starlight!?’
That was when I hear a gun lock n’ load behind me. I turned to look and see Starlight holding a pistol to the back of my head with her magic. It was the same pistol Purple used back in 1987.
Starlight said “I was right behind you.”
“You slick coward!”
Starlight replied “But of course. We all knew you were an amateur from the start!”
“But how did you survive the spring lock trap in Sunset?”
Starlight explained “Quite simple. When I about to leave after dismantling Rainbow Dash, I heard spirits talking to me. Turns out that the Mane 6 and Applebloom had come back as spirits. They pushed me back into the hallway and followed me to a back room. I saw the Sunset animatronic, I went in it and that was when I thought I was going to die. However, when the spirits left, I managed to get a hold of a time displacement gadget and used it to get my body to head back in time. So, I didn’t die but instead survived. However, Sunset was now a haunted animatronic that only I could control. So, using my magic, I could control the animatronic with my mind. But when you survived all five nights, I needed to kill you personally now.”
“Normally, I would feel honored. But I must avenge my fallen comrades that you killed so I won’t let you win so easily!” I used my quick reflects to push away the gun that Starlight had. I made some distance between us. “We will finish this off, once and for all!”
Starlight said “Oh please, like you are a threat to me.” She put her right hoof up and a hidden blade revealed itself. She charged at me and I dodged her attacks with ease. “Oh no…”
I acted quickly and punched Starlight, pushing her to the ground. I began to run off to plan my next move. Starlight got up and put away her hidden blade and pulled out a pistol and began to look for me.
I was hiding at the corner of my office. I noticed that Twivine was hiding as well. I pulled out my Z-10 heavy blaster pistol. Little did I know that Starlight teleported inside the office and sneaked behind me. She fired her gun at the back of my head, making me die there.
Starlight said “Too bad for you, my dead literal friend.” She heard something and checked her pocket dimension and noticed she didn’t have her time displacement clock. “Wait, where is my clock?”
I was in a hallway, holding the time displacement clock. I looked into my pocket dimension and summoned my red star. Then, looking to my right, I see Phantom Discord.
“Discord, can you help me with Starlight?” PD nodded and I waited for Starlight. Then, she made it and I came out of hiding. She glares at me and I smiled. “Remember this statement? You’re a long way from friends.”
Starlight replied “Oh please…” Before she could continue, she heard some garbling and she sees PD. “Oh no…”
PD screeched, causing Starlight to be blinded. I pulled out my red star and threw it at Starlight. We both shot it, causing a massive explosion.
I opened my eyes and I see the place was on fire. I see Twivine coming up to us. She had the Sunset animatronic being held. I looked at Starlight and see her body was being burned. Then, I heard whirling and see the Sunset animatronic becoming active. I took a piece of chalk and made a rune quickly. I activated it and both Twivine and Sunset stepped in.
I began to blink and found my book glowing. Suddenly, two arrows of light left the book and became both animatronic Twivine and Sunset. My other animatronics noticed them and began to walk over.
Rainbow asked “Whoa…who are they?”
“How are you guys here? Where are we?” Sunset asked.
“We are in Equestria, another realm, Starlight.”
The girls gasped in shock, except for Twivine and Sunset.
Twilight demanded “YOU are Starlight!? Our murderer!?”
“Yes, but before you start dismantling her, your spirits have already took their revenge. She is now trapped inside her suit. She is now one of you guys. She will part of the attraction with Twivine.”
That is when GP and GA appeared in the room.
GP said “We sense some newcomers. So, who are the two newcomers?”
“I present you to the animatronic Sunset Shimmer, haunted by the spirit of Starlight Glimmer. And her partner, the animatronic known as Twivine Sparkle, haunted by the spirit of Vincent Waller, otherwise known as the Purple Guy.”
There were gasps, including Sunset. Sunset hugged Twivine and I motion Sunset to come with me to get repair and upgraded.
Later…
I came back with a new and improve Sunset. The animatronics gasped at my work and I looked at them.
“What do you think?”
Pinkie shouted “Awesome!”
“It is almost time. Everypony, get into positions.”
They nodded and I went to get a crowd.
Later…
I blocked the main window and lowered the barrier. The crowd outside started walking over to me.
“Hello and welcome to my personal place of fun! Welcome to Phantom’s Funhouse! I’ll give you a tour around the place for you to see.”
I see the Mane 6, Charming, and the Royal Family coming up front. I opened the doors and we began to walk in. They were liking the size of the place already. We went to the Dining Room and we see the group of animatronics on the stage. The fillies came in the place and looked at the animatronics with curiosity.
Celestia asked “What are they?”
“In my Phantom’s Funhouse, it is a place of fun and fantasy comes to life. My friends here…” I pointed at the animatronics on the stage “…are programmed to entertain fillies first and grown-ups second.”
They looked at the animatronics. On the stage was A-Applejack, who was the lead singer. A-Twilight to A-Applejack’s right, holding a guitar. To A-Twilight’s right next to her was A-Charming, who had both a microphone and a guitar. To the left of A-Applejack was A-Fluttershy, who had a cupcake on a plate. To the left of A-Fluttershy was A-Rarity, who was standing there with nothing. All of their eyes were closed, like they were deactivated.
Luna replied “Are they…”
“Why not introduce you to the whole crew, shall I? Girls, wake up! We have guests!”
The animatronics opened their eyes and they looked down at the crowd. They immediately noticed the fillies and smiled.
“Looks like we have ponies to entertain! Let’s get to work!” A-Applejack shouted.
At that moment, A-Fluttershy went down from stage and went into the Kitchen to make some food.
A-Charming said “Can everypony take a seat. We will entertain you while Fluttershy and Pinkie are cooking some food.”
A-Twilight asked “Hey Charming, where are the others?”
A-Rarity answered “Oh yes, our friends at Cloud’s Cove. Hey everypony, how about you say “Cloud’s Cove” loudly. If you do, maybe more can join us.”
The Fillies began to chant “Cloud’s Cove” and after a few minutes…
A-Rainbow greeted “Yarr! Did somepony call for the Captain?”
The crowd and I looked and see A-Rainbow with her Pirate equipment on. Next to her was A-Danny with his hook hoof, eye patch, and pirate hat.
A-Danny asked “Let’s give them an adventure they will never forget, right Captain Rainbow?”
A-Rainbow agreed “Aye.”
We hear mechanical hooves and we looked to the right hallway entrance and see the Toy animatronics.
A-Vinyl said “Those who need a party going, go to the Arcade and have some fun there.”
The fillies began to cheer. They loved the place, a lot. That was when the Kitchen doors opened and we see a moving table with a lot of sweets and everything. It was being pushed by A-Fluttershy and A-Pinkie.
“Time to party!” A-Pinkie shouted.
The fillies began to head to the tables to wait for the treats. I smirked at the awestruck faces of my friends and family.
“Impressed?” They nodded, still shocked. I couldn’t help but chuckle. “Well, there are more than just the originals and Toys.”
That was when we see Twivine and Sunset coming down the hallway with smiles on their faces.
Sunset shouted “Time to party!”
“Agreed. Let’s have some fun while we are all here.”
Later…
The Funhouse had closed because it was now 10:00 PM. I came into the Dining Room and the entire crew was smiling.
A-Rainbow asked “So, what will happen now? Who is the night guard?”
“I’ll be a night guard for now. But, I was thinking of a prank.”
A-Pinkie asked “What kind of prank?”
“Well, I’ll be having my brother, Charming Thunder, be a Night Guard for at least a week. During that week, you will pretend you are trying to kill him while I make video recordings to help scare him. He will never see it coming!”
We began to laugh, the idea alone was perfect. So, for a while, we began to plan it out. Finally, I needed to make the recordings. I went to the new phone we had in the office and I grabbed the phone.
