Four ponies call themselves"Long Forgotten Sons"arrive in Ponyville for a second chance.When they arrived at Ponyville,the ponies start to disapprove of them doing music that was not suppose to be in some parts of Equestria.Will the band continue doing these music or will they pull the plug and start over...... first fimfic
A/N: My first fanfic attempt, please don’t kill me if this sucks Four ponies walked down the road where it led to Ponyville.These four ponies called themselves “The Long Forgotten Sons “it is the name of their band. They wanted to go down to Ponyville for a reason for a second chance, they were traveling musicians that perform in many parts of Equestria. They never had a home to live in except they used to live in a broken down house which was their only home. When the band finally made the money off of their performances they done, they all got their saddlebags and instruments and left the hell hole they called home which their journey to Ponyville began.
On the right is a Pegasus with a black acoustic guitar holstered to his back, his name is Casper. He is a yellow Pegasus with a brown shaggy mane and straight tail with cutie mark of an Octave music note. He wears a white shirt with black vest and red tie kind of loose making him look like a punk or a street rat, but he doesn’t care if some high class pony or anypony stares at like if he is a troublemaker. Casper is one of the band’s guitar player and singer which was a gift from his older brother. Casper is the youngest from the band also he is very confident and chill, but when comes with mares or meeting a new friend, he is shy. Sometimes he gets crazy at times when he finishes his guitar solos. “How long is this going to take us? Are we even there yet? “Casper said irritated the fact that his hooves are killing him. “Just a few more miles and we’re there.” Stefan said to his brother. “Just a few miles, my flank you know you always say that have you noticed that?” He said annoyed to his older brother. “Would you quit whining keep walking.” Stefan threatened him. “Well I got 2 things, one, I’m not whining just complaining and second, sheesh dude take a chill pill” He noogied his brother “Whatever” Trying to fix his mane from the damage. Stefan is a Pegasus and Casper’s older brother. Also the band’s main singer. He is as the same color as Casper with a short straight spiky mane brown mane with green on the tip of his mane. He has a long spiky tail with brown highlighted green. Also, has a cutie mark of a microphone. Stefan kinda always gets annoyed of his brother, but never thinks about beating the crap out of him. At the same time he loves and hates him. He is confident and unlike his brother he is not shy around new friends and mares. “You know compadre, he is right take a chill pill” said a brown pony with a Hispanic accent who was standing to the left side of Stefan. “Thank you like always.” Casper said confidently standing on his hind legs with his right fore hoof on his chest “Don’t mention it, well no offence you’re not right all the time” Felix corrected him. “hey hey” He protested Felix is a brown earth pony with a black and red mane and with a short spiky tail same color as him mane. Felix has a cutie mark of a white and black bass guitar. He wears a black vest and glasses Felix is a shy kind of pony, he is not a very social with anypony except with his band members. Felix came from a place called Nuevo Paraíso where he spoke his language to his family and friends which was Spanish, but spoke a little Equestrian. He migrated to Manehattan to live the Equestrian life making him an immigrant. Felix sometimes speaks a little Spanish when Casper is around cause he knows a little. To the band he is pretty good bass player. “Hey calm down you’re starting to be like Stefan” A grey unicorn said on Felix’s left “Yeah you should know!” Stefan yelled waving his forearms at Casper “Say it don’t spray it” Casper said wiping his face. “Yeah what he said!” Yelled the grey unicorn The grey unicorn on the left of Felix is named Josiah. Josiah has a long black and blue mane covering both of his eyes. His cutie mark is a pair of drum sticks. Josiah is the only band’s drummer and pretty much he takes the band seriously. Josiah is a very chill pony, would get mad easily unlike Stefan. Josiah was an orphan at a local foster home located somewhere in Fillydelphia til one day he ran away. Wandered off in Manehattan where he met the band and joined them. But he is still trying forget the memories from that hell hole they called a foster home. “Hey Stef you think we’re almost there cause this trip is starting to piss me off” Said Casper who was complaining about the walk. Stefan stood there with smile on his making the band stop walking looking at him like they saw a ghost. With that it was completely silent no one bother to speak cause of Stefan’s situation. “You alright there or you’re just going stand there and creep us the hay out of us with that psycho look.” Josiah decided to break silent. “Just stop with that look, it’s starting to make Felix cry” Casper pointing at Felix who was “At least I didn’t cry from that snake prank that pulled when you were sleeping” Felix protested “Dammit Felix, you know I’m scared of snakes.” Casper said angrily “They were fake you know and got you back at least.” He corrected him “Well I-“Casper was cut off by Josiah who was trying snap Stefan out of trance. “Would you guys just shut up, we’re in Ponyville now.” Josiah interrupted the argue between the two. “Oh yeah right, prove it.” Casper who thought it Josiah was lying Josiah told Casper to turn around but refused to. With that Josiah levitated Casper with his forearms crossed and an annoyed look on his face around like a ragdoll. “Does that answer your question?” The grey unicorn said a little annoyed. “No, still don’t see.” Casper’s forearms were still crossed “Open your eyes and just look.” He told Casper once more “Well, if I my eyes I’m going to-“He was cut off with eyes widen when he saw the “Welcome to Ponyville” billboard. Out of nowhere he started to scream “Thank Celestia Yes!!” at the top of his lungs with two mares passing him looking at like he’s crazy. ”Sorry about that” he apologized, the band on the other hand couldn’t help, but stifled a laugh. “Yeah and I thought I was the weird one” Stefan said sarcastically. “What are you pendejos waiting for Hearth’s Warming?” Felix told the band waving his arms “Yeah what Felix said let’s go to our new home” Josiah motivated the band. The band were at the entrance of the town, they all shared pretty confident looks at each other knowing that they’re ready to walk into town. “Well guys, let’s do this” Stefan told the guys
As the band walked in to Ponyville,they were all pretty nervous about other ponies looking at them like they’re street rats or just punks willing to hurt others and cause trouble.Casper on the other hand never cares about other ponies looking at him,he just wanted to live a new life in Ponyville.
“Well,anypony enjoying the town much?” Casper question the band wearing nervous looks on their faces,but Felix who was wearing a grin since they were at the entrance.
“I won’t say anyypony,only me so far.” Felix said looking at Josiah and Stefan with nervous looks.
“Well,Felix you’re not the first to enjoy this town” Casper said
“I don’t get whats with these ponies looking at us,it annoys me sometimes”Stefan ucomfortable about the situation of ponies looking at him,also to him it’s like being the new kid or doing an music performance for the first time.
“Probably cause we’re new I guess” Casper gave a shrug
“This not good at all,not good at all”Felix said a little worried when he saw something that caught his eyes.
“What do you mean?”Josiah raised an eyebrow.
Felix pointed to where he saw.The band then looked to where was Felix was pointing.What they saw was an pink pony with a curly mane and tail jumping and greeting other ponies at the town.Next to her was an yellow Pegasus with a pink mane and tail trying to calm the pink pony from what she was doing.The band groaned that she was coming straight at them,Felix in the other hand was looking at the yellow Pegasus.
“Oh crap she’s coming this way”Stefan said as he facehoofed as the pink mare saw them.
“Stand your guard guys”Josiah commanded the band as the two mares came were walking straight at them.
As the pink mare and the yellow Pegasus started to walk towards them,the band stood there.As for Stefan,he was worried that if the that if the pink mare would ask him for an autograph or something like crazy fans did to them.Felix was mainly focusing on the yellow Pegasus,Josiah and Casper didn’t mind about the two mares,but to just greet them since they’re new in Ponyville.
“Hey you’re new here,have we met?Whats it like to be here?Do you like parties?Cause I love parties and I was thinking if you guys want to be invited into one of my parties?“The pink mare rapidly said as she was throwing out a bunch of questions at the band.
“Pinkie,would you please stop bothering these nice ponies”The yellow Pegasus kindly ask the pink mare . “Awww Fluttershy,I’m trying to ask these nice ponies.“The pink mare said.
Felix stood there still looking at the yellow Pegasus.Stefan was trying to ignore the pink pony and as for Josiah,he stood there while the pink mare was still asking the them a lot of questions.
“Are you guys gonna stand there or tell us your names?”The pink pony raised an eyebrow as the band just stayed quiet
The band stood there not knowing what to say to the pink pony,they stayed quiet for a short time.For the pink pony,she stood looking at them with a smile on her face waiting for a response from one of them.The yellow Pegasus who was standing next to the pink pony,was looking at the shy brown pony who was wearing a shy look on his face.
“Oh where are my manners,anyways the names Casper.”Casper said who the first one to respond.He put his forehoof directly at the pink pony,she then grabbed Casper’s forehoof and shook it violently causing him shake.
“Well nice to meet Casper,the names Pinkie Pie”she said stopping shaking Casper’s forehoof causing him to drop to the ground.
“Yeah,nice to meet you too”Casper said as he got up wiping off the dirt on his shirt.Which he regretted in his life never shake hooves with a hyper pink pony even though you’ve met her.
“And whats that on your back?”Pinkie noticed Casper’s black acoustic guitar.
“Oh its just my guitar,nothing special about it except I play it around when I’m in music performances,traveling,or when I’m really bored”Casper explained as he grabbed his guitar off his back and showed it to Pinkie.Pinkie grabbed the guitar off of Casper’s hooves and began to strum random notes on the guitar causing it to snap a string.
“Sorry about that,but you can get another one right”Pinke apologized and gave Casper his guitar back.
“Just a simple string snapped off,nothing bad about it”Casper examined the damage from his guitar.
“Ahem,you forgot about us dude!”Stefan shouted waving his forehooves at him forgetting to introduce them.
Casper facehoofed and groaned forgetting to introduce the band.He went on Pinkie’s side to introduce the band,he then pointed first to Josiah.
“That’s Josiah our drummer.”
“ ‘Sup”
“And that nice gentlecolt who shouted at me is our band’s main singer and my brother.”
“Thank you by the way the names Stefan”
“And…. I’m….Felix….”He said as was hiding behind Stefan. “Who said that”Casper said
Felix walked out slowly to reveal himself and waved slowly at Pinkie and the yellow Pegasus .Pinkie grabbed the yellow Pegasus behind her and elbow her to greet the nice pony.
“And that’s Felix our bass player”Casper pointed at him
“uh…oh….hello”she waved slowly at the band
“Say your name Fluttershy”Pinkie whispered and continued to elow her.
“My…is …Fluttershy”she said quietly barley hearing her voice.
“Say that again,we barley heard you”Josiah said cleaning out his ears.
“It’s Fluttershy,you gotta forgive her,shes kinda of a shy pony”Pinkie corrected the band
“Hey she's just like Flex,isn’t that right”Stefan elbow him
“uh…..yes”Felix said a little awkwardly
The band and the two mares stood in an awkward silence,but after that they exchange goodbyes,they walked off to a separate path.The band to their new home and as for the two mares,they walked to whatever they were going.
“Well that was weird,I thought they wanted an autograph or something.I’m glad that’s over.”Stefan said.
“They never heard of us or even they never seen us play”Josiah corrected.
“That’s maybe true,but I hope we find us a gig to play”Casper said still trying to fix the string from Pinkie Pie strumming random notes on the guitar.
The band continued to walk to their destination,they been greeted by some other ponies.Some just keep looking at them with dreamy looks,but didn’t to notice them.Stefan and Josiah had to admit,they did the town for now.
They then finally made it to their destination it was about time they made it,a long way from home.Now that they made it,it was about to forget about their past and start a new life in this town.
“Is supposed to be a home,tree,or a library cause I can’t tell them apart”Felix said looking at the home part library.
“Hmm I guess we have to live next to that treehouse or library whatever that is”Stefan said continuing to walking towards their new home.
Casper was at the front of their home and breathed heavily.He grabbed the doorknob from their home and turned it,but it appeared to be locked,he tried harder no use.
“Its locked”Casper said disappointed.
“What idiot sells a home with no keys and we came a long way from that hell hole!!”Stefan yelled angrily making him to stomp the ground.
“Guys let me handle this okay.”Josiah said as he waked and moved Casper out of the way.
Josah was at the front of the door and he was now going to destruction mode.He punched the door with much force he has,no use of it.He switch to plan b by lowering his forehooves and raising his back legs.Stefan,Felix,and Casper stood in awe that Josiah is going to buck the door open.
“Here goes nothing”Josiah said as he was ready to buck the door.
Josiah then released his back to hit the door.He hit with powerful force,the door hit the ground like a pile rocks falling off a cliff.When it hit the ground,dust covered the scene making the band cough.
The band stepped towards the doorway,they all patted Josiah’s back for what he’d done bucking the door open.Felix noticed the doormat at the front of the door.He picked up the doormat what it appeared to be the key to the home.He looked at Josiah with anger and hit him across the back of his head.Stefan and Casper did the same to him. “What the hay was that for”Josiah growled holding the back of head.
“For not noticing the key under the doormat”Felix said.
“Not my fault for not noticing the bucking doormat at door,you didn’t have to do that you know!”Josiah yelled.
“At least we have no door like our old home”Casper told Josiah.
“Guys just shut up and lets just check it out”Stefan commanded the band.
Casper,Felix,and Josiah followed Stefan at the home.The band stood inside the home looking at the inside of their home with jaws dropping from their faces,no one bothered to say a word to all just forget about the past and live a new life.
“Welcome Home,Guys!!!”Casper cheerfully yelled putting his forehooves around Josiah and Felix.
Casper wrap his forehooves around Josiah and Felix then cheerfully yelled”Welcome Home,Guys!!”
Josiah and Felix then got out of Casper’s grip ending up to start roughhousing.Josiah and Felix began dog pile Casper making him to tap out and get up due to the lack of air.Casper then grabbed Flex by the head and got him in a headlock.When he got him in headlock,he began to spin around and threw him on the floor getting Felix now in a submission then kept telling him to tap out.
“Do ever tap out once in your lifetime.”Casper grunted when he has Felix in a submission on the floor.
“To answer that question,NEVER!!”Felix growled.
“Are you sure?.”Casper said as he began to tighten his grip making him pick up his right forehoof to prepare to tap out.
Josiah,well was just standing there spinning his drumsticks and whistling casually as he witnessed his two friends on the floor in a submission.Josiah looked at Casper’s watch on his wrist to see how long they have been holding it out.Josiah let out a sigh and walked over to Casper,as he was there,Josiah grabbed Casper in a headlock causing him to let go of Felix who dropped to the floor to get some air.
Casper was now in a the headlock,he tried to shake out his way out of Josiah’s grip.Casper was finding a nearby wall to support to him get up so he can get Josiah back,but he failed.
Josiah tighten his grip and Casper began to tap the floor and yelled out “Tap out,Tap out!”
“Really,I thought you last longer”Josiah laughed as let his hoof out.Casper grabbed his hoof and picked him up. “You got lucky this time”Casper let out his hoof out at Felix. He grabbed Casper’s hoof then got back up cracking his neck and said”That was Practice,the real one will be in your sleep.”
“Oh yeah,I’ll do now or later.Maybe today,tommorow,or maybe right now,but it will be unexpected just wait.”Casper walked backwards to the living room.
“I’m watching you”Felix squinted his eyes and pointed at Casper.
“Whatever” ---- Meanwhile at Twilght’s library---- Spike was looking at the window as he saw the four new ponies moving in.He witnessed everything from the house,he saw a unicorn with a long black and blue mane covering both of his eyes,buck the door open so hard that it got knocked down and alerted a few ponies.He also heard multiple grunts and yells from the yellow Pegasus wearing a black vest with a white shirt folded up sleeves,holding a brown earth pony with a black vest and glasses in a submission hold.
Spike was pretty much scared of the four ponies that moved.He didn’t bother to greet them or introduce himself,he thought they’re a bunch of punks and psychos so it would be best to get out of the library without them seeing him.
“Spike!come down here and do me a favor.”Twilight shouted from downstairs
Spike let out a sigh and walked down stairs with his face looking down.
“Oh Spike,you’re here”Twilight said as she was levitating three books and putting them back to their shelf.
“Why did you call me down here anyways”Spike said.
“Because I need you to watch the library while I’m gone”Twilight said as she was trotting to the door.
Spike was pretty suspicious to where she was going.He dashed to the door blocking Twilight’s path.
“Twilight where are you going?”Spike said worried blocking the door.
“You know the four new ponies from next to us moved this morning?”
“Yeah I know,but one question,ARE YOU INSANE!!”
“What are you talking about Spike?”
“These ponies are not what you think,they’re more than just are neighbors,THEY’RE EVIL!”
Spike ran upstairs to get what he needs,when came downstairs,he immediately barricaded every door and windows.He walked up to Twilight exhausted then dropped on the ground.
“Now that all the doors and windows are barricaded,we’re all safe thanks to me”
“You know Spike,I could teloport my way out of here”
Spike facepalmed when a white spark filled the room knowing that she was gone.
He got on his knees and screamed out “NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!”
Twilight teleported out of the barricaded library where she could hear scream from the outside.
“Spike,sometimes I worry about you”She said to herself.
She continued to walk towards the home where the band has now has someplace to call home.She came closer to see a yellow Pegasus with a short spiky green and brown mane with long spiky tail,same color as his mane and a cutie mark what it appears to be microphone,leaning against where the door used to be at with forehooves crossed.
----Back at the home---- Stefan was at the front of the house,leaning against the side of the doorway where the door used to be with forehooves crossed.His eyes caught to appears to be a purple unicorn walking straight at him.Stefan stand his guard to see what the nice mare has to say besides asking them for autographs. “Can I help you?”Stefan raised an eyebrow.
The purple unicorn cleared her throat and began to speak politely”Good afternoon,my name is Twilight Sparkle,the grand pupil for Princess Celestia”
“Twinkle Sparkle?”Stefan wondered that fact that he didn’t catch her name.
“No its Twilight Sparkle”
“Twilight Sprinkle?”
“Twilight Sparkle,TWILIGHT SPARKLE got it?”She began to explain it to him slowly.
Twilight trotted to the door,but until Stefan put his hoof in front of her trying to stop there. Stefan cleared his throat and stopped Twilight”Woah there dude,where do think you’re going?”
Twilight was a little offended,but she didn’t mind to just talk back.
“Well I came from my library so I decided to drop by and meet you guys.Since your new here in Ponyville.”
“Wait that’s a library your living in?I thought some crazy pony just crashed a house into a tree”
“Yeah… that’s a library alright.”Twilight sounded a little offended
Twilight noticed that there was no door where Stefan was leaning at and asked”wasn’t there a door earlier before you guys moved in?”
“One of us decided to not use the keys”Stefan was referring to Josiah’s pretty stupid plan.
Twilight giggled a little because of what Stefan told her.
Stefan decided to lower his hoof to let Twilight come in.Twilight came in,she was kind of weirded out that Stefan just let her pass in just a snap.
“Oh shit I forgot”Stefan cursed to himself that he forgot to tell Twilight his name.
“By the way Twilight,the names Stefan!”He called out to her if she heard him.
Twilight was already inside the home,she looked around to find the band till she found them in the living room. What she saw was three ponies on the couch together minding their own business,first to the yellow Pegasus with brown shaggy mane wearing a black vest with a white shirt folded up sleeves,tuning his guitar while the unicorn with a long black and blue mane covering both of his eyes was spinning his drumsticks and banging them to a coffee table making a rhythm.Then to the brown earth pony with a black vest and glasses,peacefully reading a book that he pulled out of his saddle bag.
Stefan walked behind Twilight putting his hoof over her shoulders then spoke out getting the band’s attention ”Guys look we have a visitor or… fan here”
“Hey”They all said by just waving not bothering to introduce themselves but to get back of they were doing.
Stefan let out a sigh,bothered that he had to introduce them for them.He pointed first to his brother.
“That’s Casper our band’s guitarist and singer”
“Hello”Casper who was the only one to respond to Stefan
“Oh and that’s Josiah our drummer”
“ ’Sup”He continued to bang the coffee table with his drumsticks making rhythm.
He looked at Felix reading his book peacefully.
“And that’s Felix our bass player.”
Felix smiled and let off a small wave.
“Extra info he’s really shy”Stefan whispered to Twilight to let her know.
Stefan now introduced himself” I’m Stefan,the band’s main singer and together we are “The Long Forgotten Sons” ”
The band in the living room all raised their hooves referring to the logo on Josiah’s drumset
Stefan thought it was getting a little awkward so he left to the kitchen for an excuse,leaving Twilight alone in the awkward situation of the three ponies in the living room.
She took a seat next to Casper and Josiah and it became completely quiet.She wanted to start a conversation but nothing to talk about since she all thinks about books and others,if she let it out they won’t be interested.
She looked at Felix who continued to read his book and then tried to read the title of the book since it was written in a foreign language.
“Hey…..watcha reading there Felix”She asked awkwardly.
Felix lowered the book as he was interrupted by Twilight.Felix didn’t seem to be pissed or bothered,it was the first time anypony asked him that since nopony was interested in books so he felt free to tell her.
“Oh this what you’re talking about”He asked.
Twilight gave a nod”Yes that book”she exclaimed.
Felix let out a small smile and began to explain the book to her.
Felix began to explain the book to her“Well its called Abajo La Misma Luna.It tells the parallel stories of young colt named Carlitos and his mother, Rosario. In hope of providing a better life for her son, Rosario works illegally in somewhere in Equestria while her mother cares for Carlitos back in Nuevo Paraíso. Unexpected circumstances drive both Rosario and Carlitos to embark on their own journeys in a desperate attempt to reunite. Along the way, mother and son face challenges and obstacles but never lose hope that they will one day be together again.”
Twilight was speechless about what the book was about.Mostly all her books were about science,histories of Equestria,and magic spells,but she never came across hearing about that book.
“Well….um…kinda sounds like a very touching story”She began to say
“I read sadder books than this one.One time I told Casper to read Voces inocentes and that book….oh man”
“What happen to him when he read that book?”Twilight asked a little worried.
“Well let’s just say that they named a river after him”Felix sounded like he wanted to laugh.
Casper overheard of what Felix had said then lowered his guitar down and yelled”Hey that book was sadder than out of your books you’ve read and you know it”
“Quit denying,you know you loved that book”
Twilight sat there while the Casper and Felix were both arguing of how they never cry at books.She wanted all her friends meet the band so she got up and trotted to the door.
Felix saw that she was going for the door he asked”Hey where are you going,are you going to stay?” “Oh just going back to my library that’s all and I remembered something.I want you guys to meet my friends if I have the time”
“Okay have fun”Felix shouted.
The band looked kinda of worried of what when they heard Twilight said something about bringing her friends to meet them.Stefan,on the other hand over heard them and he looked forward to it,he was ready.
The band heard of what Twilight said about something bringing her friends to see them and get to know them.To Stefan,he looked forward to it to meet the mane 6.While in the living room,Felix,Casper,and Josiah got back from what they were doing,except the fact they’re just not forward with the mane 6 visiting them.
Casper was still at the living room,working on some rhythms on his guitar in case they get a gig to play in this new town.Casper had enough to stay with the three of them alone,than just sit around and do nothing so he decided to make his way to the door.
Casper wrapped his guitar on his back and slowly got off the couch,then stretched his wings out and cracked his neck due to the laziness on the couch.He walked over to the door til Josiah’s beam hit,causing him to stay still and drop his guitar.Casper was little bit pissed that Josiah’s beam hit him,so pissed that he wanted to bash Josiah in the head with his guitar.
Josiah levitated Casper back into the living room and putting him face to face.
“Where do you think you’re going?”Josiah sounding a bit angry
Casper tried to get off of Josiah’s magic,but couldn’t move.So it was no use to just to him where he’s going.
“What do you think,to find us a gig.Who do think you are,my parents.”Casper sounding a little angry.
“Calm down there,just saying where you’re going that’s all”Josiah said
“Couldn’t you just ask more nicely than use your magic to stop me”He said.
Josiah put Casper down making him punch Josiah in the arm as hard as he can.He wrapped his guitar back around his back then walked towards the door.
Casper walked out of the house without anyone stopping except Josiah.He trotted past Twilight’s library where she waved at him,but Casper ignored her.
He spread his wings then flew high in the air where he was flying around the town deciding where to land.He flew down to the center of the town and landed at a nearby fountain.He sat down at a bench next to the fountain.
He grabbed his guitar while ponies are passing by him,but something caught his eyes. Two mares passing by and talking to each other.One mare was a grey earth pony with black mane and tail,purple eyes and a cutie mark of treble clef note also she had pink bow tie around her neck and the other is an white unicorn with light and dark blue mane and short spiky tail,cutie mark of a music note.Casper did not know the color of her eyes since she was wearing her purple shades.
Casper mainly focused on the grey mare,but did not care about the white unicorn who he assume that she is her friend.
The two mares made their way to a music store,on the window it read “Help Wanted”,this made Casper smile at the sign he saw.But Casper might as well get it later so he looked back at his guitar and began to strum it.He
