When rainbow finds out her sister is visiting how will she spend time with both her friends and her sister
Rainbow has a sister but has never told any of her 5 friends but when news arived that her sister is going to visit rainbow ends up makeing a fool of her self and loses something she will never be able to replace
Celestia's sun rose gently over ponyville, the light shined like polished gold, sharp rays escaped from the curtains that acted like a barrier, they shone into the room of a cyan Pegasus mare, she tossed and turned in her bed as the light hit her face, her body was wrapped up in the blankets making her look like a catapilla waiting to transform, strands of rainbow hair flowed over her pillow, only one side of her face was visible and the light hit it perfectly.
"Ok ok... Iam getting up" she moaned lowering the bed sheet to below her hooves, her eyes remained closed, with a lazy shuffle she fell from her inviting bed and landed upright, "I hate mornings!" Rainbow grunted finally opening her eyes and starting her journey to her kitchen.
Stretching her wings, rainbow made herself a nice glass of milk to start the day, the cold drink ran into her stomach cooling every part of her body, wakening the tired mare fully, "I wish juuuuust once I could sleep all day without distractions."
A familiar sound came from the door as the metal letterbox opened and closes,"that must be derpy!" Derpy always delivered rainbows mail, Rainbow strolled over and grabbed the letter, walking over to her sofa she investergated the letter that invaded her home, it was a light brown envelope with basic lettering that had clearly been written by hoof, it was addressed to rainbow dash, rainbow reconized the smell, a hint of lemon, she knew who it was from, so many questions ran inside her mind screaming, rainbow could only raise one eyebrow and wonder, why was she sending me a letter? And why after all these years?

Rainbow flew over ponyville in the early air, passing other ponies trying to convince their wings, work was more important, landing outside twilight's library, all 5 of her friends where waited casually, rarity was talking to twilight about something to do with her new designs for the next spring season, rainbow didn't pay much attention, how could she! pinkie bounced around Fluttershy and applejack like normal, upon applejacks back was a large picnic basket full of food and drink rainbow hoped, Fluttershy was carefully strapping the basket to applejacks back using soft leather straps that ran under applejacks belly, Fluttershy was making sure not to pull any fur out or leave scratches to applejack or the woven basket.
"Morning!" Rainbow called out, flapping her wings to hover and finally land firmly on the earth "sorry I am late!" Eventhough rainbow would normally be happy to see them she didn't feel like her normal self and only turned up to prove she wasn't dead.
"Thats fine rainbow" replied twilight with a thankful tone, had rarity board her that much?
"Fluttershy has the picnic, do you want to pick the spot today?" Twilight asked moving away from rarity, her eyes gleamed with positivity and excitement.
"No thanks, pinkie pie can pick!" Replied rainbow with a forced smile, none on the other ponies noticed her strange behaviour, probably a good thing!
Dragging behind rainbow walked,she dident fly, it was unlike rainbow dash (the best young flyer) not to fly but still no pony noticed, pinkie was bouncing ahead followed by applejack and Fluttershy carrying the picnic basket, the 6 mares always spent their Fridays together in the park, it was a tradition since twilight first came to ponyville, she needed away to get to know the other ponies and it was the perfect plan.
At the start twilight had brought lists and plans for the time out, showing when to talk about what with times and all that egghead stuff, it amused rainbow luckily rarity showed twilight how to relax and talk about anything she felt like.
rainbow always enjoyed the gossip and stories her friend chatted about at the picnic, the gossip always came from rarity, it wasn't surprising as she can be very nosey, rainbow would have loved to joined in today but she had her own gossip to handle.
Rarity floated her hoof made blanket onto the ground with her magic softening and smoothing out all the bumps created by the grass beneath, pinkie had found the perfect spot between two large trees,the air was warm but the shade from the trees help to protect the ponies skin, sitting calmly they arranged into a unnoticed circle and started to talk to each other about anything and everything as Fluttershy passed around the daisy sandwiches, apple pie, cupcakes, sweets and cider.
Finally, between eating and drinking the long conversations where starting to get interesting but rainbow just watched and thought to herself almost blocking about any sounds and stories from her best friends, by now rainbow was laid on her stomach resting her head on her hooves that spread out on Rarity's blanket, rainbow felt a pony sit beside her.
"Rainbow are you ok dear?" Spock a careing posh voice, a voice of rarity, her eyes look at the board Pegasus, how could rainbow not have noticed rarity leave her current chat with applejack?
"Hmmm" replyed rainbow not moving from her pose,her eyes still fixed on a tiny shoot of grass that had escaped from the blanket, the floor wasn't over cozy rainbow just had no will-power to move,all the mares look at her with concern in their eyes, they had finally noticed!
" I got a letter this morning..." Explained rainbow, rainbow knew she would have to tell them sooner or later and now seemed like a good time after all she seemed to be sat in every ponies eye site almost like been on a stage with one single spot light shinning on your face.
"From who? If you don't mind me asking " questioned Fluttershy before hiding behind her long pink mane, silently reminding the others of her shyness.
"Don't be silly rainbow, you don't have a sister" pinkie pie giggled and trotter to rainbows side, still no movement came from the Pegasus
"Am so sorry I never told you, I never wanted to tell you," rainbow started the other ponies recognized a hint of regret in rainbow dash's voice
"Rainbow, pleas tell us more about her. What is she like!" Questioned twilight "I sure we would all love to know suger cube!" Applejack rose from her spot to place a kind hoof on the Pegasus shoulder
Rainbow looked up reveling her saddend eyes, they didn't understand rainbows reaction.
" if you really want to know ... I'll tell you"

"Rainbow" a deep voice came from a opened door. A tall stallion looked upon 3 seats that where lined up against the wall of the long boaring corridor, he was a light purple stallion with short cut rainbow hair that looking messy like it hadn't been brushed in days.
A tiny filly rose her head reacting to her fathers voice, beaming with joy the little filly flew Shakely to her father hugging and smiling " can I see mummy plz?" Rainbow asked releasing her body from the stallions grip, he relied with a simple "yes"
The two rainbow maned Pegasus walked silently into the room " rainbow my dear come here!" A gentle mare voice sounded from the hospitals bed, the mare sat upright with her front hoovses holding a bundle of blankets, firefly's cyan mane flowed I front of her bright yellow eyes, she looked tired and her pink coat was dull due to hr lack of enegry.
Rainbow came closer and was shocked to see a new born foal sleeping in her mothers hooves, " this is your new sister rainbow, her name is lemon dash."
This had been the first time rainbow and her father had seen the foal, rainbow never noticed the frown her father gave her mother, rainbow was to busy investigating the plain brown coat and the short Snow White mane and tail with jet black low lights of the filly, rainbow loved this new filly, her first sister.

"I was only 2 year old, I never noticed the fact lemon looked nothing like my father!" Rainbow almost let a tear run don't her check " father must have noticed, after that day every time a got home from school lemon was crying and... And" rainbow couldn't hold back her feelings, "mother and father never stopped arguing, till the day my dad toke me away, I never saw my mom or lemon dash again," rainbow was now curled up in a ball, she hated been all mushy but her parents meant the world to her, the reason rainbow was the element of loyalty was very clear, the ponies Didn't speak, they where trying to understand that was going throght their Pegasus friends mind " I can't tell you anything else because I don't know anything else," Rainbow admitted.
"So why are you not wanting to see her?" A voice Spock after a long moment of silence "rainbow? do you blame lemon dash?" Asked twilight without picking her words carefully but honestly it was what all the mares where thinking.
"No! NO! I don't! what type of pony do you think I am?" rainbow raised her wings and toke to the sky only hovering to make her self look bigger, she was expecting her friends to help not critisize her.
"Sugercube, twilight has a point you can hide from this" explained applejack showing rainbow she truly cared but rainbow dident want to hear it "You all think I am bad pony here! Iam not!" Rainbow rose her voice to a angry screech, rainbow scowled, snorting down her nose like a angry bull.
Rainbows face quivered as she spun in the air and flew off " thanks a lot!" Rainbow cryed back over her sholder, a rainbow trail was the only evidence rainbow had been there.
"RAINBOW, YOU LEFT YOUR... letter!" Screamed pinkie waving the brown envelope high above her head, pinkies head dropped when rainbow never came back," wait pinkie, what letter?" Applejack questioned pointing her gaze to the pink mare.
"This one silly,rainbow dropped it, its brown and smells like ...ummmmm lemons!" Pinkie let her tough leave her mouth, it had a mind of its own as it inched closer and closer to the envelope.
Rarity squeaked "PINKIE, don't lick it."
"Let me read it!" demanded twilight in her controlling voice befor pulling it from pinkie with her magic.

The ponies stood glaring at the letter, after what seemed like minutes applejack interrupted the silence "I thought her name was lemon dash!"
"Me too" Fluttershy finally raised her voice again, she had always been the quiet type, "maybe we should meet her tomorrow, I don't think rainbow will show up after all... This," Fluttershy felt confident with her suggestion and felt even better when the other mares calmly nodded their heads in agreement.
Sobbing rainbow headed to the nearest cloud and pounded her head into the white fluff " how could they thing that, I mean iam not like that , am I ?" Rainbow questioned herself, did she really blame her only sister, every tear that escaped made rainbow relize the truth "I do blame her ! What have I become?"
Morning past by unnoticed by the sleeping mare, rainbow dident want to wake even if there was a reason "wait, there is a reason!" Rainbow strikes her head out of the clouds she had spent the night on, a look of shock in her eyes "I better get going, I may not like her but I would like to know mam is ok."
Meanwhile twilight stood gazing at the large clock on the wall of the train station, "what time is it twilight?" A shy voice asked "10 minutes too 1, Fluttershy!"twilight replayed not moving her head away, pinkie had sat with applejack and rarity playing eye-spy, they all where board and time seamed to pass slower and slower.
Steam bombarded the stasion as the little train slowed to a hault, ponies flooded onto the platform, all the colours of the rainbow walked, trotted and galloped around trying to fine the exit, The 5 mares stuck there heads above the herd of ponies looking for any sign of a brown pegasus, with no luck.
It was now 1:10 and the stasion platform was mostly empty " have we missed her" asked pinkie pie in a saddend tone her eyes gazed at the floor in defete, "I think so pinkie" said rarity turning her head to look at the pink mare, fluttershy and rarity had there back to the train as a little brown hoof fell on to fluttershy's shoulder.
"Eeeeeeeeeeeek" screamed fluttershy as she spun in the air landing behind twilight, the other mares turned their heads in one swift movement to gaze upon a little Pegasus.
Her coat was a oak brown and showed off every single curve of the athletic Pegasus, her wings where folded against her slim sides hiding the spot where her currie mark was, A large black and white forelock fell across one of her bright yellow eyes that glittered like a roaring fire, a white tail between her legs showed how startled she was by fluttershy's reaction.
"Can we help you?" Stood rarity acting strong, she hated fluttershy been terrified, the brown Pegasus never spoke her body trembled with fear as she cliched a pice of paper from under her wing with her teeth, holding it out the 5 friends noticed it was a photo of a very young rainbow dash.
Pinkie toke a long, over the top breath in "Omg omg you must me lemon dash we found her we found her!" Sung pinkie as she did a small victory dance, the ponies smiled and rolled their eye at the bouncing pink earth pony.
"So you must be lemon?" Asked applejack looking the tiny mare up and down trying to see a cutie mark, a quick nod of Lemons head give the ponies relive, " sorry we never introduced ourselves, we are rainbows friends, i am twilight sparkle" twilight pointed a hoof to her friends that had lined up to get a better view of the new mare.
"Iam Applejack!"
"My name is Pinkie pie"
"Rarity dear nice to meet you"
"And... and I am flutter.... Fluttershy" all the ponies give a warm inviting smile even fluttershy who was hiding behind twilight leg still "we are not sure where rainbow is! so would you like to come with us to my home? I am sure rainbow will turn up sooner or later," explained twilight as She turned her body to leave but still gazing over her shoulder.

Rainbow flew into a small rain cloud on the outskirts of the ever-free Forest, allowing her mane, tail and coat to become wet, washing all the dust and sweat from her night on the clouds, "I haven't done this in ages" rainbow said to no one, "why not rainbow" a voice came from behind her.
Rainbow stopped the washing of her hair as turned to see a Gray mare with a blond mane and tail gazing at rainbow, " thank celestia, it's just you derpy!" Rainbow said relaxing from her stat of shock before answering the mares question "I normally have a shower at home not out in the open, but I kinda like it!"
"Is there something wrong rainbow? Why have you been crying?"derpy give rainbow a confused look, how did derpy know I had been upset, "how do....." Rainbow was interrupted by a small pocket mirror been forced into rainbows hoof, rainbow ego fell as she noticed her eyes where red and the little mascara she wore was bleeding down her cyan checks "thanks derpy" rainbow handed the mirror back and turned her head away in embarrassment " rainbow I won't tell any pony just take my advise, go talk to who ever you are upset with and explain yourself, it might just help"rainbow listened to every word the normally clumsy pegasus said, derpy smiled and flew off into the midday sky.
"Wow did derpy just give me the best advise I have ever been given?" Rainbow suddenly saw derpy in a hole new light. the rain cloud had released all the rain a long time ago and rainbow was now as clean as she was ever going to get, without hesitation she flew as fast as her wings would take her trying to dry herself in the fast powerful wind that brushed up against her body.
Slowing,rainbow floated to the wooden door of twilights house the air that past throght her wings made the leaves flutter, a warmth came from the cracks in the door, rainbow taped the door with her hoof expecting a friendly purple pony to open the door "oh hey rainbow!" Rainbow looked down seeing a little purple dragon looking confused at her, it toke rainbow a moment to relize who had just said hi to her.
"Rainbow what's up?" A little worry in his voice "ow sorry Spike is twilight in, I realy need to apologise to her," explained rainbow as her eyes fell to her hooves "she went out but you can come in and wait for her," "Thanks spike."
The sun sat high in the Clear blue sky, not a single cloud floated, twilight was leading the way to her home followed by pinkie pie, rarity, applejack, Fluttershy and the new mare lemon.
Gazing, the Pegasus was fascinated by the town and all the ponies that went about their Daily lives, lemons' steps where confident just like her well loved sister but this confidence was the only similarity between the siblings, from what rainbow had told the mares many years ago, firefly rainbows mother was a very confident pony and that's where they most likely get it from.
lemon had still not said a word, her mouth sealed shut, most of the main 5 where discussing tomorrows plans while traveling to twilight liabary, except for applejack, she strolled behind trying to get a look at lemon zings cutie mark but still with no luck, her wings covered both sides of her flank, applejack was starting to get frustrated.
Trotting to catch up with lemon applejack asked "why are you hiding your cutie mark lemon?" her voice was low only meant for the ears of the Pegasus, lemon pretended not to hear applejack and just keped her thoughts on her smaller than average hooves as they almost tiptoed across the dirt beneath.
Now applejack could see the mare closer she noticed her very small figure, her fur was short and eventhough the ponies thought her body was toned mussel she was actual a bag of bones, they stuck out at impossible angels, the mare walked, her feet looked painful, it explained the tiptoe style of her steps ( if her feet hurt why is she not flying? applejack thought to herself).
applejack recognised lemons body type, a new work pony, her body looked just like AJs did when she first started bucking apples, a work pony loses a lot of weight at the start befor they build up their toned body from the hard labor they force there body and mind through.
Applejack wondered to herself, why would a Pegasus such as lemon be working as farm pony? It made no sense, the orange earth pony needed answers.
" sorry twilight, but I better head back to ma farm, got some things I gotta take care of!" Applejack shouted ahead trying to act causal despite her inquisitive mind.
Twilight replied "that's fine applejack, we will catch up with you later" the ponies proceeded down the lane to the library stopping off at suger cube corner where pinkie pie and rarity left to get "work" done, Fluttershy soon left also wanting to return home to discord for their afternoon tea, " well I gess it's just you and me lemon !" Twilight sighed walking next to her new friend who was still silent "you know" twilight started not expecting to get a word from the Pegasus "we where all very shocked when rainbow explained about you, she had never told us she had a sister, glad she did you are a nice mare."
A light girly giggle left lemons lips, both lemons and twilights eye widened in glee as a huge smile spread across lemon face from ear to ears, "pinkie pie would be proud of that smile" twilight giggled in response, the princess tried not to dwell on the noise, this was the first noise to leave lemons mouth and it was nice.

Rainbow asked as she read the third dareing do book for the 100th time, she knew every line off by heart and could do a one-pony play baced on the book, "twilight thinks some pony will visit the liabary When she is gone" spike replied in a unimpressed voice, he seemed as board as she was, except he was doing something practical by dusting the book shelves.
Tipical twilight worrying about every little thing the pair thought to themselves, with a long sigh rainbow roles over onto her back and closed her eyes, maybe she could get a bit of sleep, with her head up against one of the book cases, rainbow slowly drifted off into a nice cozy sleep.

"Please spectrum dear Iam sorry" explained firefly in a slight panic, her voice clearly heard by a rainbow haired filly who's ear was against the door of her parents bedroom, rainbow softly sobbing to herself.
"no firefly, how could you do this to me, what about rainbow! Dose she mean anything to you?" Spectrum voice was shaky.
Firefly cried to herself "I understand your upset an...!"
"UPSET..UPSET... YOU THINK IAM UPSET! no firefly! NO! I am not upset I am angry, give me just one reason why I shouldn't just leave now!" Rainbows dad interrupted firefly, screaming in her face but not thinking about his actions,"Iam sorry!" Firefly's voice still carm and gentle but she sobbed into her hooves.
"No your not," he shot back at his wife "if you really cared you wouldn't of just cheating on me and fall pregnant..... WITH A NOTHER STALLION! sweet celestia firefly, THATS IT! I am leaving and I am taking rainbow with me, good bye firefly good luck with the filly!" Spectrum voice shacked as he turned around to face the exit, reaching the door her stopped to allow a single tear to fall from his eyes, I was so hard to leave her.
The bedroom door opened under his firm hoof he was leaving his true love sobbing on their bed alone.

The liabary door opened causing rainbow to wake from the nightmare she hadn't had I years, her eyes struggled to ajust to the new light what Beemed into the public liabary, the old wooden door closed with a clatter, "Ow hello rainbow" said twilight looking at the half asleep mare "I was wondering where you have been."
Twilight walked into the centre and passed spike her sliver saddlebags that floated from her back, rainbow just roller her eyes, honestly she was thankful the princess had woke her but rainbow didn't want to admit it and lower her ego any more that what derpy had done with her pocket mirror.
A smile was plastered across twilights face like she was hiding the biggest secret, rainbow looked at the purple alacorn with confusion "what's going on twilight?"asked rainbow getting to her hooves and clicking her neck.
"Ow nothing much rainbow dash "twilight looked to the sky trying to give an honest look but she was so guilty, a pony walked from behind the blushing twilight, "You!"
twilight walked to one side revealing lemon zing to her sister, the pair just looked at each other waiting for a movement from their opposite, "so you did turn up!" Rainbow tock a step forward presenting her strong chest that she used to belittle ponies she looked down upon.
Trembling once again, lemon was silent her yellow eyes quivered in fright,Twilight lifted her ink and quill, she used when she did a experiment and quickly scribbled down notes down on some paper what was laying around, Hopping onto the bed, twilight started to investigate the mares reactions, spike came to join her in the experiments.
Rainbow had gotten closer to lemon who was now pinned to the wall held down by only her pure fright, her powerful heart beat out of her chest, each beat felt like a timer ticking done to destruction. Rainbow had stater placing around her sister "how is mam?" Rainbow asked not faulting her blazing looks "WELL ARE YOU GOING TO SPEACK?" Rainbow lunged forward into lemons face, lemon lips trembled even more that her legs that hardly held her weight,
Lemons eyes shot closed as she scrunched up her nose allowing a small tear to fall, a tiniest whimper escape from the younger mares lips, the salty tears dripped off lemon long eye lashes dissolving the black mascara and speeding it down her oak check bones.
Twilight became protective after the sound of the quiet mare crying, the prinsess rose from her bed "RAINBOW STOP!" She yelling in her unused royal canterlot voice, it had gone too far!
Lemon couldn't stay in this dilemma, her legs wobbled and she body trembled at the sight of her overpowering sister, within second lemon was out of the liabary faster than applejack can say apples, opening her wings it their full length Rainbow stood in shock as she watched her skinny sisters wings, they where much larger than rainbow or anyone of the other Pegasus I. Ponyville and look far to heavy to even lift her sister from her hooves but without hesitation lemon zing was flying at a speed that would push rainbow to her limits.
"RAINBOW JENNIFER DASH!" A firm voice Ripped apart the anger within rainbows eyes, she hadn't been called that since she was a filly, rainbow spun on one hoof to look upon the firm almost annoyed face of twilight.
"What do you want, princes twilight Starla sparkle" replied rainbow in a cocky tone but deep down she was slightly worried, no pony used her middle name unless....."SHE IS YOUR SISTER RAINBOW, AND YOU GO TERRORISES HER, WHY RAINBOW, THAT POOR MARE, SHE CAME TO SEE HER ONLY SISTER AND THATS HOW YOU TREAT HER!!!" Rainbow now felt like the helpless one under the constant watchful eyes of twilight.
"I HAVN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG!" Shouted the cyan Pegasus, bother mares give better evil looks than queen chrysalis and king sombra put together, "WHY DO YOU ALWAYS BLAME ME?" Screamed rainbow stamping one of her hooves into the wooden floor boards causing a crack to appear.
For the next 5 minuets rainbow lost all control as she splatter back all the insults she could think of and finally ending with a statement that would disroy everything her life was "I HATE RARITY, I HATE APPLEJACK, I HATE PINKIE PIE, I HATE FLUTTERSHY, I HATE LEMON AND I HATE... YOU!!!" Rainbow bolted from the room bashing through a pony sized window that was open before vanishing into the world beyond.....
Twilight looked lost, her emotion vanished with the rainbow maned mare, without a single word twilight fell into spikes arm allowing his scales to muffle out her whimpers of pain and heart break......
applejack trotter in the old farm house,the apple family home was very cozy, giving the feel of a old cottage with the low beamed ceilings and walls. Small tuffs of light orange mane was trapped under the uneven wood, the low beams caused problems for the tall Big Mac, he is always hitting his head across them.
Contemplating, applejack took the rout to her bedroom, slipping past the living room doorway hoping not to be seen, applejack didn't notice Granny Smith as she past the door, "and where are you sneaking off too young lady?" A old mare stood up from her rocking chair eyeing applejack.
"Sorry granny I... I am tired!" Applejack tryed to explain "what wrong AJ ?" Granny stepped closer to her, trying to look into applejack emotional eyes, AJ answered "iam fine."
Granny placed a hoof on applejack check moving her gaze to her own " you can't lie to me applejack, what's going on?"granny eye brows raised as she waited some time for a response with no luck the pale green mare strolled back over to her old wooden rocking chair " come here sugercube" granny taped her hoof gently on the floor before hoping back onto her spot.
Applejack did as she was told siting on the cold floor boards and looked up into her grannies eyes "I met rainbows sister lemon zing, and... And I have this feeling about her!... I think she is a work pony!" Applejack explained " dear why are you so worried there is a lot of ponies that work on farms" granny shuffled forward " no granny you don't understand she is... Is a Pegasus !"
Granny smith smiled and leant over to the book case that was up against a wall of the living room, her hoof floated across the books stopping at a large yellow hardback book "here it is." Flipping the pages with care , Granny Smith stoped landing on a page with a large old photo of a family the photo look centuries old, "I want to tell you a story."

Meany years ago there was 3 brothers named apple,orange and lemon they lived on a farm with their younger sister cherry, but the 3 brother could never agree with on which fruit to grow on their little farm, cherry couldn't Stand the fighting between her brothers forcing the young mare to fine her own land, the land she discovered was named dodge junction, her farm become very popular and the cherry family lived on till this very day.
When the brothers discovered their sister had left the oldest brother, apple, left moving to ponyville and starting his own farm - sweet apple acres- he blamed himself for the sudden loss of his only sister, orange and lemon continued to fight blaming each other for their misfortune until the day the brother orange meet a young mare from manehaten he fell deeply in love and moved away to learn from his mistakes.
The last brother cared only for himself blaming other ponies for his problems and to this day the lemon family are not the nicest of families.
The brothers become know as... Apple the smart brother Orange the loving brother And lemon the selfish brother

Applejack looked up with a confused expression, "Can't you see applejack? a Pegasus with a fruit in her name is very uncommon meaning the mother must have some communication or relationship with a family of that fruit" hinted the old mare.
"So your saying rainbows sister may be part of the lemon family so rainbows mother must of have known the father was from the lemon family, now they live on the lemon farm and lemon is been forced to work, and that must be why she so skinny!"
"Applejack stop plz dear, you maybe right but you need to get the truth straight from the ponies mouth" Granny Smith explained in her usual calm tone and looked at applejack, in her eyes the old mare saw the workings of AJ mind, "your one of the smartest ponies in this family, you get it from the original apple never forget it!"
" there is still one large problem! lemon Doesn't talk!"
Ask yourself one think dear dose she have a way of talking like paper and ink, Applejack looked her feet thinking for a moment before answering "No"
The old green mare shuffled forward again "What dose that tell you?"
"she can talk!" AJs eyes almost popped out of her skull as she pieced the jigsaw together, "I think you have a pony to find."
AJ shot out or the farm house hooves pounding against the dry dirt that made up the farm lane " I hope lemon is still at twilights, I better head their first!"
Dust flew into the air as the strong orange earth pony galloped into ponyville her blonde mane flying freely behide, the red bobble still clung to the golden locks as she powered herself to the public library
Applejack hulted out side of the library after hearing sobbing, lifting her orange hoof she eased the door open slipping only her face, in the corner of her eyes she noticed the purple princess that was twilight curled up holding onto her helpful dragon.
Carmily knocking, AJ stepped into the room getting a closer look of the crying princess "twilight?" Applejack mover slowly forward not wanting to startle the mare. Once she had gotten closer twilight jumped into applejacks chest almost knocking the wind out of her "applejack! I didn't.... Mean to..... I only wanted.... To protect her" twilight tried to explain through her gasped for air, applejack held her best friend close.
"Shhhhhh, it's ok sugercube" AJ ran her hoof down twilight mane as she tried to support the distort mare, applejack felt twilight breath brush past her fur as the crying begun to fall way. "Spike what in hay happened?" applejack questioned as she held twilight in her hooves like they wear sisters."Rainbow started threatening lemon so lemon ran away and twilight had a go at rainbow, now every pony is upset!" spike said thankful AJ was there to stupor her friend.
"it's ok twilight I am here" applejack held the princess she had stopped cry but still sniffed into applejacks neck, "twilight I think we should go find them two, I have an idea on what's going on." Twilight lifted her head old tears streaking down her purple checks, she give applejack a confused look, "what do you know?" Twilight asked Shakely as she rose from AJ grip, "I can't explain until we find rainbow and her sister" explained the orange earth pony.
Morning light Broke through the clouds, birds few in the carm breeze calling to each other with songs of harmony, ponyville was a sight to behold on spring morning such as these but many ponies never saw the glamor if the morning,applejack was normally one of the whiteness but she had not returned home.
With a russle of sheets applejack rose her head to look around at the unfamiliar surroundings,"morning AJ, would you like some tea?" Asked the purple princess as she softened out the blankets over her own bed.
"Sure twi" applejack lepted from the spare bed she had sleeped upon a few times before "after we can go looking for lemon I sure hope she found somewhere to sleep" a hint of worry crossed the unicorn mare as she moved across the room the the steps leading to the central liabary.
"I feel guilty for not searching last night but with Luna's moon rising.." Applejack was cut of by the sound of twilight making the tea. Applejack trotted into the kitchen thinking about the event to come."twilight I think we might have to get lemon and dash together" applejack noticed the purple mare face change as the sentence left her mouth, the once cheerful mare was now a pony with a saddening secret. "no...." Twilight replayed with a fern by kind voice her eyes moving to the look at applejack "not after yesterday!"
Applejack knew something had happened with Twilight and rainbow mainly because of the best friend attitude towards the rainbow mane mare "what happened?... you seem....tense, did rainbow say something?" Applejack moved forward hoping twilight would find comfort within her. "No" twilight turned to look out the window of the kitchen. The only light source in the smallish room " please AJ, just leave it, I am fine that's all you need to worry about."
"Twilight be honest with me" applejack tried to reason with the mare but was stopped by twilight snappy words "AJ I said leave it! I don't want to even think about her, lets just have out tea and look for Lemon."

"Morning did you sleep well" said I friendly gray Pegasus as she stumbled through the door almost literally, her clumsy steps moved her to the small bed at the end of what looked to be a old spare room,"Yes thank you derpy" a feminine voice replied the words came out very smoothly as each word was spoke with care and clarity" It's no problem anyway would you like some breakfast?" Derpy tilting her head to the side allowing one of her eyes to look normal while the other looked over to the wardrobe area, her blond mare and forelock fell to one side as gravity toke hold.
"Sure I will come and help it's the least I can do" the voice answered again derpy smiled at the pony layed in bed "You seam along more cheerful this morning Its good to hear to!" "I gess you just made me feel welcome"giggled drepys visitor like what they had said was a funny inside joke, derpy giggle along she love having friend over,"Well like I said last night" started the blond maned Pegasus "we are both different from normal ponies and we need to stick together!" Derpy changed her postur to a stance of pride befor flapping her wings to stop herself from falling face first "Thanks derpy" giggles filled the room as the 2 ponies continued there morning chat
"What's your plan for today?" Asked derpy as she now sat on the spare bed "I think we both know what I need to do, it's been coming for a while now" the ponies looked down to her hooves as give a slight smile, derpy knew the unsure emotion on her friends face she wanted to support her, "Be strong it will all turn out ok I the end."
"I sure hope so" the figure hoped out from beneath the bed sheets the pony passed derpy smiling like true friends did, derpy followed not far behind but this time crashing through the bedroom door luckily it was made from clouds so it didn't hurt... Much.

Bounced the pinkie smiling earth pony her mane was as puffy as ever, rarity roles her eyes at the childish filly "Calm down pinkie" rarity moved her gaze to AJ and twilight "is lemon with you?" Her voice was still Elegant but showed a hint of curiosity.
"No sorry not see her since last night" replyed AJ after giving the depressed prinsess a quick look, "Last night?" Rarity asked again after seeing the looks AJ had given "That's all I know twilight won't tell me anything else" AJ said flowed but a sigh, she went to talk but was interrupted by a giggle
"Oh hey rainbow" pinkie pie had noticed a multicolloured tail hanging over a clouds that had glitter across the sky, I a blink of an eye the tail was gone it had slipped behind the clonus without a sound. "Rainbow there you are" rarity smiled at the cloud hopping for some movement "Don't talk to me!" A sharp voice piced the ponies ears, for a small moment the cloud wiggled till rainbow had shown her anger filled eyes "Rainbow that's no way to talk to your friends now is it" Spoke rarity as she tossed her recently curled mane over her shoulder.
The frends where shocked to see twilight move forward gilt in her eyes she looked to speck befor gulping "Rainbow" she studied rainbows unchanged face "I am sorry I yelled at you" twilight let her head drop she knew she had made a huge mistake yelling at rainbow. "I don't wanna hear it" snapped rainbow then flipping her hard over her sholder I. Annoyance, "Please rainbow you where about to hurt lemon and I know your not that kinda pony please dash" twilight voice now in a state of panic
"Whatever I don't care" rainbow again snapped back not looking at the apologetic mare she seemed untouched by twilights plead for forgiveness. "what happened" mumbled Fluttershy looking very confused by the turn of events. "It's none of your business little miss kindness!" Rainbow didn't think about the words that left her mouth, she just had a go at the first pony not to call her rainbow crash, her oldest friend.
"RAINBOW! what's no way to Speke to her" hissed rarity as she hugged to softly sobbing cream Pegasus,applejack come seen the events becoming filled with anger "I think we all need to calm down, let's to the liabary and talk this over" she felt wise and hoped the others would follow her example
"No" rainbow gave AJ a threatening look it slightly intimidated the work pony "THAT'S IT" AJ yelled as she launched herself towards the cloud making sure not to let the arrogant Pegasus.
Rainbow felt a hoof hit her body as she fell to the earth with a orange bluer grasping around her body stopping her wings from opening to stop the falling. Dust from the dry earth circled around the two ponies as rainbow started to buck her partner away
"Get off me I don't wanna go arrr let go"rainbow cot outed to buck her hips in attempt to remove the lump of pony who replied to rainbows Stroppy behaviour "Sorry rainbow but it's for your own good..."

"Right twilight I think some explanation is needed what's going on I want you to tell me" demanded the white unicorn mare as she helped to drag the sulking rainbow, she looked over to twilight who had sat in the very Centre of the room looking at her hooves once all the ponies had settled down twilight finally found the courage to inform her best friends.
"Yesterday myself and lemon got back here and rainbow was here and rainbow just started threatening her" twilight eyes dropped again as a small ball of water ran down her check, fluttershy held the princess close "She was beefing rude didn't even talk to me" rainbow interrupted the moment of silence "why are you such a stubborn mule?" Asked applejack not wanting a answer to her question so she could continue "I also have some information that...I kinda need to tell ya'all!"
"What is it AJ" asked pinkie, she had been silent for most the talk, the reason was mostly likely the fact she hated arguments."I hope it makes this hole experience better, I think I have a head ace coming on"rarity complained over acting for some kind of effect,"What could you possible tell us to make it this situation better?" hissed rainbow as she sat on her haunches sulking like a school filly.
"The truth" a voice Spock from the open door way...
A beam on light flooded into the room part blocked by a mare, her forelock floated as the breeze flew past both of her golden eyes looked proud as she scanned the room, as her walking forward her coat became Easier to see a chestnut brown, it was lemon zing.
Gasps filled the air as the ponies shocked at the intruder looked at her with confusion and shock, "Lemon is... is that you ?" Calmly asked Fluttershy her eyes stuck to the Pegasus before her. "Yes" a simple word opened many questions that could be seen flooding into the main 6 heads.The mares eye where still stuck to lemon it a single movement not even a blink, twilight shatter the moment of silence "But you can't....."
"Talk I know" interrupted lemon zing as she gently closed the door, the ponies toke a second to adjust to the new light before lemon continued " i am sorry for not talking Earlier but I have my reasons" rainbows eyes narrowed like she was been taken over by anger "so you can talk and you didn't tell me how my mother is? Her tone was sarcastic as she tried to take control, lemon was not going to back down again and not for her big headed sister.
"Rainbow please, I understand you must be very annoyed but I think I need to explain myself first" her voice was still softly spoken, feminine and calm as she tried to remove the anger from the previous night. "Applejack I think you know something about my family past, am I right? Lemon gaze now fixed on the work pony.
"Yer" almost a look of shame crossed her face as she hopped lemon wouldn't mind her knowing to her relief lemon didn't bother to qustion but only relapse with "Have you told them"

"Let me, twilight..." lemon eyes looked upon the still confused princess "have you ever hard the story of the 3 earth bothers?" lemon stood proud a complete change from timid filly the night before.
"Yer I think we all have, I borrowed the book from Granny Smith" twilight repeated the story word for word from the book that Granny Smith had, the princess's story telling was entrancing as her friends listened. Once twilight had finished the ponies remains silenced as they all turned their heads in unison to the younger sister "It's not a story" said lemon without hesitation "and I am the youngest member on the lemon family and a relative of the selfish brother" the mares ears drooped the feeling of shame filling her body, she hated her family.
"O my" rarity exclaimed blinking a few times "lemon dear, c-could you tell us more about yourself?" Her question was replied with a nod of agreement. Lemon adjusted herself before starting her own story.
"My mother is firefly a loving mare and the mother of myself and you rainbow, I was on born on the 8th of May in cloudsdale, I was without a father until I was 3 years old and our mother married my blood father a hard working lemon farmer named lemon juice, I was raised on his farm since and I only just started bucking lemon this year due to my mam's..." She gulped "illness."
Even thought the word was faint all the ponies heard it, shock again speed across their faces, the chestnut Pegasus avoided the subject trying to carry on her life story.
"2 moths ago...." Started lemon zing before rainbow raised to her hooves and stumbled forward "illness? What illness?" Her voice was not one of anger of selfishness in was a tone of horror and worry. Lemon gulped again she looked into her only sisters eye before answering the question she never wanted to answer.
"Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis" rainbow had no idea what it was but her heart stopped... For what seemed like forever she stood looking into the eye of the sister she once hated, could this be true? firefly her mother ill? Could she be... No?the world crashed around the cyan Pegasus, a single tear formed and fell caressing her cheek before tumbling to the wooden floor beneath her, the silence felt like a brick wall each brick blocking out the thoughts in her mind."Rainbow?" Lemons voice knocked the wall down as she grabbed her crying sister and held her in her grip, rainbow had let all her tough tomboy attitude slip as her sobbed into the arms of her younger sister.
"Rainbow!" Lemon repeated as she stocked the long rainbow mane of her sister "it's not as bad as you think, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is just nerve damage..."dash looked up at her sister her eyes red "it just means she had no control over the bottom half of her body, that all" lemon tried her best to comfort dash she knew how she had felt to discover the news.
The other ponies around the room had stated to hold one another in comfort and support, it had been hard to watch the always strong rainbow fall to emotions.both twilight and Fluttershy where crying into the shoulders of applejack and rarity and pinkie pie laid on her stomach all bounce from her hair was gone.
"Lemon?" the croaky voice of rainbow asked "Yer dash" the sisters eyes met again "When do you go home?" The question toke lemon by surprise but she didn't question "Tomorrow I am afraid"dash stepped away from her sister, lemon was curious as she tried to get the attention of her older sister, rainbow cleared her through "i'am coming too!" Without time to react lemon almost yelled "WHAT!... rainbow...I am sorry but...but you can't!"her face was full of worry.
"Why not!" Rainbow stooped her hooves like a filling not getting what she wanted "you just can't!" Replied the chestnut Pegasus for a moment she felt like the older sibling "Lemon I need to see her!" "Yes I know and she would love to see you too but lemon started it was interrupted by the rainbow maned Pegasus "but what lemon?"
"He will will hurt you, he doesn't like you or your dad for hurting mam ,he always said he would hurt you if he ever saw you, I won't let him treat you that way her teats me!! As soon the the word left her mouth lemon regretted it bowing her head in shame,silence toke over the room.
Twilight found the courage to stand up "What!" Her voice was gentle dark purple streaks done her checks from her tears, rainbow stood in shock as her friends moved closer to her showing the cyan mare support, lemon keeped her head down "Forget I just said that!"
"Lemon what dose he do to you"asked rarity "It's not his fault is how he...you know...takes control"lemon stumbled around her words
"He abuses you Doesn't he" asked twilight as she moved closer with rainbow held close, lemon's head dropped even more giving the answer all the mares didn't want.
"Lemon ow that's why you don't talk! come here" rainbow galloped to Lemon jumping into her arms "i am here and I will come with you tomorrow, I can stand up for us, not you or Anypony can stop me ok?" All the other mare joined the hug holding each other in a supporting grip, lemon give a silent Nod.
Soaring across the cloud tops, rainbow dash and lemon zing flew stretching there powerful wings across the sky, the flight had no speed it was more of a flight of relaxation, rainbow looked over to her sister admiring her large wings, they where huge for a mare of her size and looked more like stallions wings every feather was perfect As they fluted in the wing, with her wings out rainbow had a clear view of her sisters cutie mark , half a lemon.
Examining the cutie mark, rainbow failed to notice Lemon as she smiled at her curiosity "I got it after i was dared to lick a lemon " giggled lemon, she knew dash would ask sooner or later " most ponies hate the taste, but I found it zingy and and full of flavor" lemon continued as she flew a little closer to her sibling.
"Zing?" Asked rainbow "tell me more about you ?" Her face now tilted up away from her sisters flank. Lemon give a light chuckle "zing?" That was a new one she thorght before answering rainbows question "what do you wanna know?"
Rainbow hesitated before asking "how did you find out about me?" The question was simple but rainbow was still nervous talking to a almost complete stranger but lemon seemed relaxed as she glided in the soft air
"About a month ago I discovered a photo album in our mothers room it had your cutie mark on it" lemon started as she now looked at the inquisitive face of dash, "inside was your baby photos till you looked about 4 then they stopped, the photos become news paper clippings from all the events you have been in from that gala to you winning the best young flyer!" Lemon saw the Pegasus mare become a little cocky as she puffed her chest out "calm you horses sis" the 2 Pegasus burst out into laughter
Rainbow finaly felt relaxed and started to ask more questions...
"Favourite colour?"
"Purple!"
"Favourite food?"
"Lemon cake!"
"Got any pets?"
"Titian my spider!"
"Where did.... WAIT WHAT?"
"Titian!" Repeated lemon " he lives in my room back at the farm, not much of a social pet but he's cute!"
Rainbows mouth was wide open in shock " I thought having a turtle was bad" laughed dash, the 2 mare allowed there flight passing Towns and villages while they asked silly questions trying to catch up the last 10 years.

"Good morning dear" a old stallion said as he stormed into a small bedroom, the room was warm as the sun cascaded onto the floor, a large wooden draws stood to the left of a single bed home to a kind looking mare, she was skinny and weak but she still found the the will to smile at her loving husband.
He was a tall strong stallion with a dull yellow coat and short black spiked hair that stuck out from under his simple brown Stetson, yellow tired eyes scanned the room, "Good morning" the weak mares voice was almost as shaky as her body as she looked back out the window from her bed, "I hope lemon zing gets home soon she has work to do!" Reminded lemon juice, he trotter to the window to look out over his proud yellow orchard, lemons gleam across the horizons supported by a sea of green leaves and branches,
"I am sure she will come home soon, she is a dedicated young filly!" Fireflys voice was proud and she trusted her daughter to return, " why don't you go to the local town and sell the last of the lemons from the east field?" Asked firefly as she tilted her mussel up for a kiss, lemon juice returned the favour before leaving her room.
Once again the room as silent, just the way the pained mother liked it.

Rainbow sighed as yet another mountain passes, it felt like days since they had left ponyville, the wondered what here friends where up to, the last time rainbow had been away from them is when she was at the wonderbolt training camp
Rainbow dash's thorght where interrupted by zings soft spoken works "here we are" before she tilted her wings and dived, racing to the farm house followed close behind by rainbow. 8 hooves hit the porch of the old farm house, the home seemed to sway as lemon open the door a loud squeak echoed in the mares ears "I thought you where the fasted flyer!" Teased zing as she invited her sister inside
The house was dark, cold and almost deserted apart from the living room where a family fire burned at a steely pace, the 2 Pegasus walked into the room before a voice called from the room above "lemon? Is is that you?"
"Yes mother I am home" lemon called back, she encouraged rainbow to follow her as she adventured to the first floor,each steped groaned and cracked
As lemon opened a old door the light was the first thing her sister noticed, allowing her eye to adjust the prickling sun "lemon how what ponyville? Did you meet her? How is she? Asked firefly as she still laid In Her bed but as awake as a owl at night.
"Calm mother do t hurt yourself, ponyville was nice and I did meet her" lemon Spock in a reassuring tone, lemon moved close so she could hold her mother is a loving hug, "That's great and how is she?" The ill mare whispered into her daughters ear, lemon loosened her grip to reply.
"Maybe you should as her yourself"
The cyan Pegasus stepped into her mother view before rainbow could say a word firefly give her the biggest smile, a smile pinkie would be proud off "Rainbow! ow my... come here my little filly" her words where rainbow shelter, no words could have describe the feeling she had wanted to show "Mam!"
The mare grabbed each other holding each other and never letting go...it was perfect
