Something has gone wrong in the worlds of Equestria and the Smash Bros. Universe, and the worlds are starting to connect together. Can the Mane Six, along with the help of new allies put a stop to this before it is too late?

Equestria Side Description: Shortly after the defeat of Lord Tirek, things have started to settle down in Equestria. But one day, Princess Celestia invites Twilight and co. to Canterlot for a very special assignment: an ancient tome with the ability to travel across dimensions. However, something goes wrong and the ponies get separated in a world full of new characters. To make matters worse, the Elements of Harmony are scattered across this new world and Twilight must work with her new friends to find them and return home. So sit back, relax and have fun reading My Little Smash Bros.: Clashing Worlds

Nintendo Side Description: Something's gone horribly wrong in the happy-go-lucky world of Super Smash Bros. The evil Dr. Eggman has acquired a doomsday device capable of altering the world to make it into his design along with the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic and Shadow are on the case when suddenly Pit and Lady Palutena from Skyworld offer to help thwart the mad doctor's plans. By using the power of Heavenly Light and Chaos Control, the 4 stop Eggman, but in the aftermath the Chaos Emeralds have been scattered and strange buildings and creatures have started to appear in the Smash Bros. Universe. To make matters worse, Pit and Palutena's powers have also been rendered useless until they can figure out the cause of this catastrophe. Meeting new friends and enemies along the way, they must work together to find the Chaos Emeralds, bring back everyone's powers and return the Smash Bros. Universe to it's former glory in My Little Smash Bros.: Clashing Worlds!

Chapter 0 - Prologue

All the Smash Bros. fighters, the Mane Six, Spike and the Cutie Mark Crusaders looked out to see the mighty foe that awaits them. "This is it. I don't think we've ever had a threat this huge." Declared Palutena. This was going to be a battle that none of them would ever forget for a long time. "Lady Palutena, what do we do?" Pit was uncertain that they would be able to take down this threat and started to fear for the worst. In the distance the evil mastermind laughed manically. "I'm not sure, Pit. This never would've happened if we didn't get involved with Mobius."

*5 days before the encounter*

It has been 2 months since the defeat of Hades: The Lord of the Underworld. Life was slowly but surely going back to normal, and Pit and Palutena were out exploring the worlds of their fellow Smash Bros. competitors. "Where to now, Lady Palutena?" Asked Pit. "Today, we're going down to Mobius." Palutena explained. Pit and Sonic don't know that much about each other. But they still get along pretty well and form a great team when necessary. Pit is excited to visit the blue hedgehog's planet. "So we're going to see Sonic? That's great, Lady Palutena!"

However, it's not as it seems, as Palutena can sense Mobius is in danger. And warns Pit. "This is no vacation, Pit. I fear that Sonic and his friends have gotten themselves in a pretty bad situation and I fear that it's too big for them to handle alone." This confused Pit, as he knew Sonic would be able to use the mystical gems known as the Chaos Emeralds to turn Super and save the day. "You mean Sonic can't go all Super Sonic and stop Eggman like he usually does?"

"I wish it were that easy this time, but I cannot stand by and watch this happen. We need to leave now!" Palutena didn't want to waste anymore time and insisted on helping Sonic before it would be too late.

Without questioning it any further, Pit agrees to help, "Yes, Lady Palutena!" And they set themselves for a course for Mobius. Sonic's world.

*Meanwhile in another dimension at the exact same time*

*Ponyville*

Lord Tirek had been defeated just 2 months ago, and everything was going back to normal. Twilight grieved about her old home: "The Golden Oaks Library" being burnt to ashes every so often. With Spike usually being the one to comfort her. Twilight was now the Princess of Friendship, and it did take a while for everypony to get used to the big castle. Twilight felt great having her own castle, as she felt like she had made a huge step in her role as a princess, and wishes to continue doing what Princess Celestia would like to see of her. Becoming a great ruler of Equestria, and to be the Princess of Friendship. Of course, her friends were always at her side through all times. And it made their friendship grow immensely. Many of the ponies thank Twilight and her friends greatly for being able to stop Tirek and saving each and everyone of their lives. Twilight wasn't one for pride, but appreciated the thank yous and gift cards.

It was just a regular day today. Twilight had her royal duties all finished for now, and simply wanted to spend time with her friends. "So what's on the agenda today, Twilight?" Spike asked. Twilight's number one assistant.

Twilight wanted nothing more but to have a simple get-together with her friends and said to Spike: "Well, Spike, today I figured we'd all just head down to Sugar Cube Corner. Pinkie Pie said she's got something planned for us."

Knowing Pinkie all to well at this point, Spike was almost certain that Pinkie wanted to throw another party. "Probably another party I'm guessing--*burp* It's a letter from Princess Celestia!"

Twilight wastes no time in reading her mentor's letter. "We have to tell everypony about this right away!" Without explaining the situation, confusing Spike immensely. "What is it?" He hadn't a clue what was going on at that moment in time. "I'll explain on the way!" Twilight told Spike, and they both exited the castle, and made their way to Sugarcube Corner.

*at Sugar Cube Corner*

Pinkie Pie was super excited to see her friends and upon Twilight's arrival, wasted no time in greeting her. "Hi, Twilight!" Even though Twilight wanted to use this time to have fun with her friends, she knew that they had to hold this party get together for another time. "Pinkie, has everypony else shown up, yet?" Being the hyperactive party pony Pinkie is, she bounced around and told Twilight: "Nope, so far it's just you me and Spike."

Twilight knew that she needed to inform Pinkie of the news so wasted no more time in doing so. "Well I'm afraid this party's going to have to wait. Princess Celestia sent me a letter telling us to meet her in Canterlot right away! It's urgent! Find, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity and let them know!!

Pinkie was really bummed out about not being able to party it out with her friends. But she didn't let it get to her for very long. "Okey-dokey-lokey!" She didn't waste a single second more, and rushed out the doors of Sugarcube Corner, ready to look for the rest of her friends. "I better find the others fast!" Pinkie was walking around Ponyville, searching for her friends, when she saw a rainbow tail on the edge of a cloud. "Oh isn't that Rainbow Dash? Hi Dashie!"

Rainbow Dash had gotten a good enough rest so she didn't mind too much in getting awoken by the party pony. "Pinkie Pie? What are you doing today?"

To this, Pinkie Pie insantly spouted out everything incredibly fast. "I'm trying to gather up our friends because Twilight got a urgent message from Princess Celestia. We all need to be at Canterlot immediately. I hope Queen Chrysalis or King Sombra hasn't returned. That would be awful! They were such big meanie pants! Do you remember how Chrysalis tried to ruin Shining Armour and Cadence's wedding? Or how Sombra enslaved all the ponies of the Crystal Empire? I can't imagine what life could've been like for th-hmff!"

Rainbow Dash covered Pinkie's mouth before she could go on longer. Although Pinkie's rambles do tend to get on the blue pegasus' nerves sometimes, she does still find them to be a tad amusing. "I don't think it will be too bad. I mean, we only just defeated Tirek about 2 months ago. I'm sure it's nothing too bad. Right? Anyways, I will help you gather the rest of our friends up. Last one back to Sugarcube Corner is a rotten Trixie!"

They both laughed racing each other to gather up all their friends, and they told them that they needed to all be at Canterlot to see Princess Celestia immediately.

*Later in Canterlot*

The six ponies and Spike rushed to the castle to see Princess Celestia as fast as they could. Who knows what could be in store for them.

*At the throne room*

"We got here as soon as we could, Princess Celestia. What's the big emergency?"

"Oh, this is no emergency, my faithful student. I actually have a test for you and it involves all the Elements of Harmony. You see, I recently stumbled upon one of Starswirl the Bearded's ancient tomes and found an interesting spell that can't be done without the elements."

Rainbow Dash was very intrigued about this. "Well, what is it?"

Fluttershy was slightly afraid of what the spell may do to them. "I hope it doesn't hurt."

"This is a teleportation spell, but not just any teleportation spell. This spell has the ability to allow the user to travel through different dimensions."

"Ooooh! Sounds fun!" It isn't unusual for Pinkie to be excited about something like this. It's hard to get her not excited about something.

"Ah don't know what that is but ah agree with Pinkie."

Suddenly, Twilight had a recollection of a book she once read regarding the multiverse. "I remember reading something like this. It was believed that there are multiple worlds across the one we live in."

This instantly grabbed Pinkie Pie's attention. "You mean kinda like that magic mirror?"

"Yes, exactly. The multiverse theory has always been an interesting topic. Somewhere there could be a dimension like this one, but with small changes."

"And today, I have tasked you with this important test. This is a very powerful spell, so it takes all the elements to power it.

"Oh, I do hope we go to a world filled with mountains of jewelery! That would be divine!"

Applejack just simply shook her head to this.

*Back in the Nintendoverse*

"Oh no, this is worse than I thought..." Palutena and Pit have arrived on Mobius, and Eggman's base was dead ahead with many different robots and death traps all over the place.

"Looks like another Sonic vs. Eggman battle to me, Lady Palutena." Pit wasn't too afraid that anything bad was going to happen at the moment. But he decides to help out just in case.

"I can see Eggman's base up ahead. Let's get a closer look."

"Yes, Lady Palutena."

As soon as he says that, a blue blur passes right by them.

"I think that was Sonic." Pit was pretty positive it was Sonic. At this point he was well aware of the Hedgehog's super speed. And he recognized his blur instantly.

"Let's see if we can be of assistance."

Sonic ran back to them as soon as he saw Pit. "Oh, hey Pit. Long time no see! *whistles* Who's your lady friend?"

"I am Palutena, Goddess of Light. Me and Pit came here because we couldn't help but notice your little problem."

Sonic was slightly puzzled and began scratching his forehead. "What, this? It's just Egghead trying to take over the world as usual. Nothing too big, right? I can handle it!"

"Actually, that's why we're here. Your enemy has somehow gotten hold of the Chaos Emeralds and plans to use them for a doomsday weapon."

Suddenly Shadow, the "Ultimate Life Form" appears. "Hmph! An amateur attempt if you ask me."

"I didn't know Sonic had a mirror clone too."

"Actually, this is Shadow."

"The Ultimate Life Form, Shadow the Hedgehog! The only reason I'm here is because this doomsday weapon has something to do with Maria."

Pit, nor Palutena didn't know who Maria was, so they were immensely confused by his words. "Who's Maria?" Pit raised an eyebrow.

Not wanting to drag on a long backstory, Sonic just shrugs it off. "Long story. Let's just say she's a friend Shadow knew from a long time ago and leave it at that."

This puzzled Palutena slightly. Wondering why he thought Eggman's plans were to do with his old friend on the ARK. "What makes you think this has to do with her?"

"Dr. Eggman has stumbled upon old blueprints from his grandfather, Gerald Robotnik. Who was also my creator. And he plans on using them for a device meant to change the world for the better."

"In Eggman's case, that's no good. And his intentions is to create a world infested by robotisized animals, and build his "Eggman Empire and his dream world Eggmanland." "

"And you think this has something to do with your friend?"

"I'm certain! I can feel it."

"As usual, I'm just here to put a stop to Egghead's plans. Since you guys are here, wanna help?"

Shadow was in no mood for this and crossed his arms, frowning. "We don't need their help."

"Palutena said that this was a pretty big catastrophe. If a goddess shows up, you know this is serious! We're gonna need all the help we can get!"

Shadow reluctantly let them tag along. "*groan* Fine. Just stay out of my way!"

Pit was slightly taken aback by Shadow's attitude. "Wow, he was...nice."

"Remind you of anyone, Pit?"

"Alright, miss "Goddess of Light" if you're really a goddess, why can't you just use your powers and just get rid of the device?"

"That's out of my control."

"Of course it is."

"Hold on there Shadow ol' buddy! They just want to help. No need to act rude."

"...Whatever."

Pit saw how similar Shadow was to Dark Pit. "I'm starting to think Shadow and Pitoo would get along...probably."

"Enough wasting time, let's get this over with!"

*After Infiltrating Eggman’s base*

"Ohohohohohoho! Well well, if it isn't Sonic! Long time no see! And you brought Shadow and...actually, who are they?"

"I'm Pit, servant to the Goddess of Light!"

"And I'm Lady Palutena, the Goddess of Light."

"I can't say I've seen you around here before. But enough introduction! As you can see, my doomsday device is almost complete. All the Chaos Emeralds are in place and soon my plans for world conquest will finally come true after all these years! With this device, I will reform the world in my image. And that image is a Robot Empire!! And you can't use Super Sonic to stop me this time, so you might as well just give up!"

Sonic didn't stand for none of this, and he taunted Eggman with his signature grin. "Ha! In your dreams, Eggman!"

"That can be arranged! Doomsday device, POWER ON! GET A LOAD OF THIS SONIC! OH HO HO HO HO HO!"

*Back in Canterlot*

All of the Mane Six were gathered around in a tiny circle with Twilight in the middle, getting ready to perform the newly discovered teleportation spell. "Is everypony ready?"

Pinkie bounced with glee. "Yep!"

Fluttershy quietly agreed. "Yes."

Applejack was ready for a new challenge. "You betcha!"

Rainbow Dash couldn't be more excited to visit new worlds. "Aw yeah!"

And Rarity was just as eager as the rest of them. "Absolutely."

"Well, here goes."

The elements begin to power themselves up.

*Back on Mobius*

"Lady Palutena, what do we do?"

"I think I can offer Sonic and Shadow some of my power to help stop this device from firing. It's a longshot, but we should try anyway."

"Shadow can use Chaos Control to effect the device so it doesn't work the way Eggman hopes."

"Then I'll use Heavenly Light to give us strength to destroy the device." Palutena told the group.

"I'll use Chaos Control and you can just stay the hell out of my way!"

"Chaos CONTROL!"

"Heavenly Light!"

Shadow started to become paranoid at what Palutena was trying to perform. "What are you doing? Do you have any idea what could happen?!"

An earthquake starts to rise from the ground.

*In Canterlot*

Something was going horribly wrong, and the spell had started going way out of whack.

"What's happening to us?"

Celestia frantically said: "Something's wrong! Stop the spell, now!"

"I can't, it's too powerful!"

A bright light is seen, blinding all the ponies and covering all of Equestria. This is quickly forming a dimensional rift.

*Back on Mobius*

"My machine! The Chaos Emeralds! They're both gone! Grr! I don't know what you just did, but you're going to pay for this!" Eggman proceeds to run away as fast as his legs could carry him.

Palutena was confused as to why Sonic or Shadow isn't chasing after the Doctor. "Shouldn't we catch him?"

"Nah, we won!" Sonic gave a thumbs up.

"All right!" Pit was overjoyed and fist pumped in the air.

"I guess I should be thankful...for now. But next time, don't ever pull off a crazy stunt like that again!"

"I guess we should head back."

"I'm on it. We'll see you around in the battlefield, Sonic!" Palutena tries using her warp to get her and Pit back to Skyworld, but it doesn't seem to be working. "Huh? That's odd. I can't seem to warp us back to Skyworld."

"I think the Heavenly Light and Chaos Control combo did a number on us."

"You're probably right. I guess since we're here, Sonic and Shadow could show us around."

"Actually, you can do that Sonic. I'm leaving."

"Where are you goin'?"

"Anywhere but here."

Shadow began skating off with his rocket shoes off into the distance.

As Pit walks outside of the base though, he notices something very strange off into the distance. "Uhh, guys, I think you should take a look at this."

Chapter 1 - Strange Occurences

Twilight was knocked unconscious after the big shockwave and was found lying in what seemed to be a garden of a castle. 3 Birds slowly peeked over a fountain to find the lavender coloured alicorn. As she began to regain consciousness, the birds flew away.

"Ugh, my head. What happened? Where is everypony? Where am I? What is this place?"

Twilight slowly looked around and found that she was no longer in the castle. The spell seems to have worked, but not in the way she hoped.

"I think the spell worked! We're in an alternate dimension. The question is, what place is this and where are my friends?"

Twilight notices a round shadow inside the castle, walking in her direction.

"Oh, I see a person. Maybe I can ask them for help. Excuse me?"

The pink puffball known as Kirby, slowly took a peek behind the walls of the castle.

"Poyo"

"Ahh!!"

"Poyiiii!!! (Ahh!!)"

Both of them screamed at the top of her lungs, alerting Tiff. Who was taking a leisurely stroll around the castle. She rushed over to the fountain where she found Kirby.

"Kirby, what's wrong?"

"Poyo!"

Kirby points his hand at Twilight. Who was still shocked to see such a strange creature. Tiff was intrigued to say the least, and decided to talk to the pony.

"What is that thing? It looks like a purple pegasus. Hello? We mean you no harm."

Twilight was very happy to see a regular person who was able to talk. So she decided to do whatever she could, in order to learn where she was and what's exactly going on.

"Another person? Oh thank Celestia! Do you know where I am?"

"Omigosh it talks!"

Tiff wasn't expecting the alicorn to talk, and was greatly caught off guard. She had to contain herself in order to stop her from going too over the top. So she cleared her throat and asked her a simple question.

"Um, hello. Are you from around here?"

"No, I come from a place called Equestria. Me and 5 others like me performed a spell that allowed us to travel to alternate worlds. I guess it worked since I'm here, but my friends are somewhere else. *gasp* Spike!"

For that period of time, Twilight completely forgot about Spike! He was nowhere to be seen in the garden, and wasn't near the fountain either. He was missing somewhere!

"Who's Spike exactly?"

"He's a baby dragon, and my assistant. I almost forgot about him. I hope he's alright, and the others!"

"I'm sure they're just fine. We'll help you find them."

To which, Kirby happily agreed to help with a very big smile.

"Poyo! ^_^"

Twilight took no time at all to let Kirby and Tiff help her find her friends, as she would probably not get very far, just by herself.

"I could use all the help I can get. I'm Twilight Sparkle, by the way. What's your name."

"My name's Tiff. And this is Kirby."

"Kaabii! Kaabii!"

Tiff's brother was running around the castle looking for Tiff. Because he saw something strange, and needed to tell her about it right away!

"Hey Tiff! Tiiiiiiffffff!"

Tuff then saw Tiff by the fountain in the garden, and rushed over to his sister.

"What is it, Tuff?"

"We were playing a game, when suddenly this small dragon fell out of the sky! Maybe it's a monster from King Dedede!"

The mention of a "small dragon" instantly caught Twilight's attention.

"Spike! Oh no, I hope he's alright!"

Like Tiff. Tuff was surprised to see a talking alicorn. Unlike his sister though, he didn't scream.

"Woah, a talking horse!"

"Don't worry Tuff, she's not a monster. And that small dragon's probably one of her friends that she's looking for."

"Then let's get back inside of the castle right away!"

"No need. I can teleport us inside there in a jiffy."

"Alright! Try and aim for the throne room. It's right over there. You can't miss it."

Twilight saw where she needed to focus her teleportation spell, and began charging her magic up.

"Alright, here goes!" Twilight's magic doesn't give off a single spark though, confusing the alicorn immensely. "What? My magic's not working!"

"Didn't you say you used a dimension spell or something? That probably drained your magic."

Tiff thought that would be the logical answer. Because a spell that powerful must have drained out a lot of Twilight's energy. But maybe that wasn't exactly the case....

"Maybe you're right. At least I can still fly." That didn't work either, as she instantly flopped back down on the ground. "What? I can't fly either!"

Tuff walked over to Twilight to see if she was okay.

"Are you gonna be alright?"

"Oh don't worry, I'll be fine. We'll just have to go on foot."

"It's not very far anyways. It is just down a few corridors and then we should reach the throne room."

Back on Planet Mobius, Sonic and the gang just made it out of Eggman's base to see a weird building off into the distance. A building that has never been seen on Sonic's home planet before. It looked like it was somehow stuck ontop of the planet's ground.

"I've never seen buildings like these before. And I know all the ins and outs of Mobius."

Pit simply scratched his head. He had only visited Mobius a couple times in the past, and even he knew that this building was extremely out of place, and wasn't there before.

"But still, where did that building come from?"

Palutena gave it a quick thought, and decided they should see what's up with the building.

"I think we should investigate."

Pit looked off into the distance and noticed something flying in the sky.

"Look, I see someone in the distance! I think it looks like a blue pegasus."

Rainbow Dash, thanks to the dimensional warp spell messing up, caused her flight to go out of control and she barely got onto the ground fine. She slowly started getting back up.

"Ugh. Why do I feel so groggy? Huh? What is this place? I don't remember this part of Equestria. Who are you? And what have you done with my friends?"

Pit covered his mouth in shock. He wasn't expecting the pegasus to say something.

"It talks!"

"You were just in a place filled with talking animals and this weirds you out?

Dark Pit revealed himself to the group, and was found leaning his right foot against a nearby rock and folding his arms.

"Pitoo? What are you doing here?"

"A weird wave hit all of Skyworld so I came down to see what trouble you caused this time. Anyway, who's this?

Pit nervously scratched the back of his head.

"That's what we're trying to find out. So tell us. Where did you come from?"

Rainbow Dash began explaining what had happened before this whole ordeal.

"Well, the last thing I remember is me and my friends were back in Canterlot and we were about to perform a spell that allowed us to travel to different worlds. I thought the idea was totally awesome, so I couldn't back down from a chance like that! Anyway, something went wrong and now Canterlot is in this strange place and I don't know where my friends are."

Palutena decided to not waste anymore time by sticking around, but quickly asked the blue pegasus one last question.

"Well I don't think we're going to find out by just standing around. Before we start looking, is there anything else you remember?"

"Well the spell was extremely powerful, so we had to use the Elements of Harmony to pull it off. *gasp* MY ELEMENT! It's gone!"

Rainbow's element of loyalty was nowhere to be seen, and she frantically started looking everywhere for it.

Palutena was unphased by her freak out, but was intrigued by the mention of an "element".

"What are these elements?"

Rainbow Dash then started to calm down, and began to explain what the elements of harmony were.

"When Ponyville was in danger, me and my friends use these necklace things to power ourselves up and stop whatever major threat shows up."

"So you think if you find your element and your friends, you can get back to your world?"

RD wasn't completely certain it would work. But they didn't really have much of a choice right now.

"I think so."

Pit looked off into the distance, and noticed a familiar looking island in the distance. It looked just like Yoshi's Island! But... What was it doing in Mobius?

"I think I can see a town in the distance. It looks like...Yoshi's Island?
In Mobius?"

Pit, Sonic and Palutena were all greatly confused. Palutena was even more confused because Yoshi's Island was supposed to be in the middle of the ocean.

"I thought Yoshi's Island was in the middle of an ocean."

"Well that's a relief, at least I don't get to swim."

Sonic nervously sweat dropped.

"Then what are we still standing around here for? I'll fly above it and scout the area!" Her wings don't seem to be letting her lift off though, and she only hovers in the air for a couple of seconds. "Huh? Why can't I fly?"

"Hmm..."

Shadow found his way back to the group, and was thinking to himself. He began seeing a pattern to what was going on.

"What's up, Shadow?"

"I'm starting to see a pattern here. She can't fly, Palutena can't warp. Her element is gone, the Chaos Emeralds are gone."

"So you think that our fight with Eggman and her dimension spell occurred at the exact same time?"

Palutena started to see things slowly coming full circle. It started to all make sense now!

"Which triggered the cross-dimensional warp! It makes sense!"

This made Sonic realise that they had to go on a hunt for not only the Chaos Emeralds, but the Elements of Harmony too.

"So not only do we have to find the Chaos Emeralds, we have to search for the Elements of Harmony as well?"

"That's what it looks like."

"Well at least I still have my Sonic speed!"

"Hmph. I wouldn't get my hopes up Sonic. If the wave effected Pit and Palutena, then odds are we don't have our powers either."

Pit was confused, because Dark Pit seemed to get to Mobius without an issue.

"Then how did Pitoo get here?"

"You can thank me for that!"

Viridi's voice was heard in the distance.

"I overheard your situation and since I was the only other goddess available while you and Palutena were having adventures, I sent Pitoo down to help since I can give him the Power of Flight."

"So I'll scout Yoshi's Island and help you find your elements. But don't think this means we're friends."

"I thought we were already friends."

Pit pouted, pulling off a puppy dog like expression. Pitoo simply rolled his eyes to this.

"Hey! Do you want my help or not?"

"Okay okay! Sorry I asked..."

Pit realised they hadn't introduced themselves to the pony yet, and decided to be the first for an introduction.

"l'm Pit by the way. Servant of the Goddess of Light!"

"I'm Palutena, the Goddess of Light."

"I'm Dark Pit! Servant to no one but myself!"

"AHEM!"

Viridi where she was, was not amused by Dark Pit's comment, and crossed her arms.

"...I mean the Goddess of Nature..."

"Thank you!"

"I'm Sonic: Sonic the Hedgehog! And this is Shadow."

"Hmph!"

"Well my name's Rainbow Dash. Fastest flyer in all of Ponyville. Or at least I was until this happened."

"Oh by the way, that was Viridi who was also speaking to us."

"I love all things nature, so when you find that Eggman guy, kick his butt for me! And good luck on your quest."

Well, it took a bit long for me to do this chapter, which I greatly apologise for. Chapters from now on should come out twice a week. One for Monday, and another for Friday. Think that will be a reasonable time length for updates on this story? Let me know what you all think. :D

Chapter 2 - Finding A Scaly Friend

Back on Dreamland, we find Twilight, Tiff, Tuff and Kirby exploring the interior of the castle, on the way to the castle's throne room.

"So this is the throne room, huh?"

Twilight was very intrigued to see what a castle outside of Equestria would be like.

"Yep. We are also in King Dedede's castle. He's the ruler of Dream Land."

Tuff rolled his eyes, as he remembered all the things that their king had done to cause them trouble in the past. The people in Dream Land don't like Dedede very much, if at all.

"But that's not really saying much to be honest. Me and sis also live in this castle too. Though we don't tend to stay in it for very long. It's way more fun to hang around town with everyone else!"

"So are you a princess, Tiff?"

Twilight had the idea that, if there was a king here, and Tiff and Tuff live in this castle, maybe Tiff would be a princess. She knew it was a gamble in her mind, but it felt like it would be the case.

"No, me and my brother just live in the castle with our parents."

Tiff started to think, what life would be like as a princess. Though she quickly stopped when she realised how much pressure would be put on her constantly. Making her completely neglecting the idea entirely, and she started quickly shaking her head.

"Hmm, okay. So what does the king do?"

Twilight asked as she was in a thoughtful position. With her left front hoof, on her chin.

"Ugh he is the worst king you will ever find! He's a real greedy meanie who orders monsters to try and defeat Kirby. But Kirby always beats 'em! Right, Kirby?"

"Poyo!"

Kirby exclaimed in happiness. Kirby loved helping his friends. Especially when it came to saving them from many different monsters.

"How can someone like him, still be a king?"

By the way they have just been describing Dedede, Twilight was incredibly confused. Why would someone like him be allowed to rule a kingdom? Or anything at all?

"I'm surprised nobody's impeached him yet."

Tuff agreed whole heartedly with Twilight's statement. Like many others. He felt that Dedede needed to back down from being the ruler of Dream Land.

"Probably because they know he'll just order another monster."

Tiff thought that much was obvious. Dedede is a incredibly unpredictable king, and nobody really knew what he would do next, but one thing was for certain. He always ordered monsters whenever he felt the need to attack Kirby. Which was pretty frequent.

"This kind of thing would never happen back home. Believe it or not, I used to be just a regu-lar unicorn. But after displaying top magical abilities among any other unicorn, I became an alicorn princess."

"Wow! So you're a princess? That's amazing!"

As much as Tiff declined to the idea of being a princess, she found it exciting to have found, not only a talking pony who was able to perform powerful magic and could fly, but also a princess. However this excitement was short lived, as they walked to where Tuff saw the dragon fall. But it was nowhere to be seen!

"The dragon! It's gone!"

Tuff started checking everywhere around the area. But no trace of the dragon could be found.

"Are you sure this was where you found him?"

"Yeah, I'm sure."

Tuff told Twilight as they started thinking of where the dragon would be at now.

"So where would he be now?"

Twilight started to think of his whereabouts, but Tiff didn't take long to answer that question.

"I think I might have an idea."

In Dedede's throne room, Dedede is inspecting a strange dragon creature that he found inside his castle. And he saw that it was just a baby dragon. Dedede breathed a heavy sigh of relief, knowing that this dragon wouldn't be strong enough to wreck his castle up. He quickly told Escargoon, his snail servant, to come and take a look at the new found creature.

"Escargoon, take a look at this!"

Escargoon started sliding towards Dedede, after telling a couple of Waddle Dees off for doing their job wrong. As soon as the snail left them, the Waddle Dees ran as far away as they could, so they didn't have to get lectured any longer.

"What is it, sire? Did you order another monster?"

"I wish I did. But for some reason, the connection's dead."

"That doesn't explain what this thing is doing here. If it is a monster, maybe it can get Kirby."

"Great idea! Glad I thought of it. EH HEH HEH HEH!"

Escargoon rolled his eyes. It was typical for Dedede to behave like that. But soon after, Waddle Doo, the leader of the Waddle Dees, rushed into the room, trying to alert the king and his servant.

"Your majesty! Urgent news! A purple winged unicorn has been spotted in the castle! And Kirby's with it!"

"Ugh! That pink brat's probably after that tiny monster Dedede found!"

Escargoon said with disgust present in his voice. He may not have as much hatred to the pink puffball as Dedede did. But he still really didn't like Kirby either. And he wasn't in the mood for him or his friends to show up right now.

"We better hide it! And quick!"

The three of them frantically found a place to hide the scaly creature, but to no avail. Tiff, Tuff, Kirby and Twilight barged through the doors. At the last second Dedede remembered that he had a hidden wall he could put him in. He quickly opened the wall before anyone could see, and shoved the dragon into it. Swiftly closing the wall afterwards. The 4 friends ran up to the king, with Tiff being the first to speak up.

"Alright, Dedede! What are you hiding?"

If they were going to get out of this mess, Escargoon thought it would be be a good idea to play it cool.

"Umm. We don't know what you're talking about."

Twilight was eager to ask where her friend was, so she casually walked up to the king, snail, and the giant eye creature.

"Let me handle this. Excuse me, your highness. Have you by any chance seen a baby dragon?"

"AAHH! What are you?"

"Psst! Sire, maybe she knows what that thing we found is! We should play along."

Dedede faced the lavender coated pony, and cleared his throat.

"Well, Miss Horsey, I haven't seen a dragon as you call it all day. We've been working on tryin' to think of how to improve Dream Land."

"Yes! That's right! For instance, we were planning construction for a country club!"

"That's right! Me and the Waddle Dee's have been planning it out for days!"

This caused Escargoon to remember the Waddle Dees he was scolding from earlier. They messed up the map of the country club by accident. However, to make a good impression, he didn't let his anger get the best of him.

As for Twilight. She was very confused at what her new friends said earlier. This king really didn't seem so bad at all.

"Well that sounds lovely."

However Tiff knew that they were onto something, and didn't buy any of what they just said.

"I don't buy it. You're hiding something."

"Yeah! Now where's that dragon?"

Twilight quickly turned her head towards Tiff and Tuff, with a very confused expression on her face.

"I thought you said he was a mean king. He seems pretty nice to me."

"That's a bunch of baloney. Right Kirby? Umm Kirby?"

Tuff began looking around for Kirby, and found him about to reach for a red button on the wall.

"AAAHHHH!"

Dedede and Escargoon screamed in unison.

"Don't touch that!"

Kirby didn't notice any of their cries, and pressed the button out of curiosity. A secret wall opens, and a small dragon is found inside. Dedede began to feel sweat dropping from his forehead. He was very paranoid now!

"Uhhh, I can explain. You see—"

Twilight wasted no time in waiting for the king to respond, and quickly rushed over to her friend.

"Spike!!"

"nnnngh. Twilight? What happened? Where are we?"

Spike was slowly waking up, and his head was really hurting. He could barely remember the last thing that happened.

"Never mind that, Spike. I'm just glad you're okay!"

Waddle Doo simply dashed off, out of the room, with Dedede and Escargoon slowly backing away.

"Well all's back to normal."

"Now if you'll excuse us."

Tiff stopped them from getting away any further.

"And just where do you think you two are going?"

Tuff quickly joined his sister, and started to question what they were planning.

"We want answers! What were you planning on doing with Spike?"

"That's none of your beeswax, kid!"

"Perhaps I can shed light on this situation!"

Meta Knight appears in the room with his usual mask and cape. He is a star warrior much like Kirby. He obeys the king, mainly to see when he will send out a new monster. He also uses it as an advantage to help train Kirby. Making him faster and stronger. Twilight scratched her head with her hoof, not knowing who this masked swordsman was.

"Who's that?"

"It's Meta Knight!"

"He's a Star Warrior like Kirby."

Twilight was, once again, very confused. How could a cute little puffball like Kirby, be a warrior?

"Wait a minute. Kirby's a warrior? He doesn't look like one."

"I'll explain later."

Tiff decided to shrug it off for now. Meta Knight began to tell his side of the story.

"I was training with Sword Knight and Blade Knight when I noticed your dragon friend fell from the sky. A large gem also fell from the sky, but it landed deep in Whispy Woods."

"Maybe it's one of the Elements! Was the large gem a part of a crown?"

"I couldn't tell. But if it's important, I'd suggest you go looking for it."

Kirby, Tiff, Tuff, Twilight and Spike, rushed out of the the throne room to find the mysterious gem that fell down into Whispy Woods. However. Something was expecting them there.....

Woo! Okay! Another chapter is complete! Sorry it took so long to do this, but both me and Xavier have had pretty busy weekends. Like Xavier mentioned in a comment, we are sorry if we are late on releasing a chapter, but it will happen sometimes. We hope you understand.

Chapter 3 - Mushrooms & Villages

In the small village of Smashville, anthropomorphic animals of all kinds were having a fun time enjoying each others companies. Life in this town is very peaceful, and bad times are rarely had in the village. However, during a predicament, a new resident of the town, whom he calls himself "Villager", was called in to be the new Mayor. This was to get the town back on track. Villager did find it hard for the first couple weeks, but he managed to get used to it over time, and now thanks to him, the village is bustling with life, happiness, and nature.

Today, Villager's Secretary, Isabelle, is giving Villager a quick phone call to let him know of a new resident in town.

"Mayor! Someone new moved in today! I think an official meeting would be nice to make our new resident feel welcome!"

Villager agrees and puts the phone down. To start a nice sunny day, he decides to go down to the beach and do some fishing. But once he got there, he noticed a pink pony washed up on the shore. Slowly he tip toed towards it, when the pony suddenly launched up in the air, and landed on her hooves. Villager had to shake a lot of water off of him.

"ugh...WHOWHATWHERE?! Oh, hi! I've never seen you before, and I know everypony so that means you must be new here!"

Villager lets out a little chuckle, and starts explaining to her, where she is right now, and talks about the general nature of the town they're in.

"What? I washed up here?"

Pinkie quickly turned her head around in several directions to view the town. Because of this, Villager had more water thrown at him. He started to laugh nervously. Just how energetic was this pony?

"Where is here exactly?
And just who are you? Oh yeah, I remember! We were back in Canterlot about to do this really cool spell that can let us go to different worlds, but then there was an earthquake and I must have fell in the ocean which is weird because I don't remember there being an ocean in Canterlot, so that must mean *gasp* the spell worked! So I'm not in Equestria anymore, I don't know if that's good or bad, but it's so cool that we're in different worlds now! Hey! What happened to my element? Maybe I lost it when I fell into the ocean. I know we just met, but do you think you can help me find it?"

Villager was flabbergasted that she said all that in one breath, but he decided to just roll with it, and nodded. Agreeing to help.

"Really? That's great! I'm Pinkie Pie, and I love parties! What's your name?"

Villager tells his name to Pinkie with a somewhat blank expression.

"That's a weird name, but okay! Where do we look first?"

Villager smiles and points directly to the town hall. It was only about 30 yards or so away.

"Over there? Ok! Lead the way!"

Along the way, Pinkie being her usual self, bounced over to the town hall. Villager just shrugged it off and laughed. He knew for a fact that this hyperactive pony was going to be very interesting. When they entered the room, Isabelle didn't notice them at first, as she was busy with a lot of paperwork. But once she saw his shadow appear on her papers, she knew exactly who it was.

"Oh! Welcome back, Mayor! Is this the new resident?"

Villager simply shakes his head. Pinkie Pie may not be the new resident, but she sure seems to enjoy it here. Regardless of only being in the town for a few minutes.

"Well is she a special visitor?"

"I'm special? Not even 2 minutes in this world and I'm already popular!"

Villager starts to explain to Isabelle about how he found Pinkie washed up on the shore, and all that occurred afterwards.

"What? She's from another world? Well come to think of it, I didn't see any new houses. But I think I saw three others like her. Probably younger than she is. I think you should find them. I'd help, but I have so much work to do."

Isabelle nervously scratched the back of her head and pointed towards the huge pile of papers she had to work through. Pinkie simply slouched down with a frown. The party pony never liked work. She enjoys baking for the cakes back at Sugarcube Corner, but that's because Pinkie really loves baking cupcakes, and interacting with everypony. But boring paperwork. Jobs like that Pinkie wouldn't even consider doing. It was definitely not something for her.

"Aww, work's boring! Besides we could use the extra hooves--err, paws."

"Only if Mr. Mayor says it's ok."

Villager simply nods to her, and Isabelle instantly got off of her chair and thanked the Mayor.

"Really? Oh thank you, Mayor! You won't be disappointed! I'll do my best to help you find your friends and your necklace, Pinkie Pie!"

Pinkie Pie jumped for joy, and not wanting to stall for any longer, told them to get ready to go.

"Then let's go already! Last one there's a rotten Trixie!"

"She's very energetic!"

The Villager simply gives her an awkward smile, giving off a, you have no idea expression. Isabelle simply laughed and the two ran out the door to follow the hyperactive pony.

Applejack was found in a very abstract looking world. Floating blocks were everywhere, and weird mushroom like creatures were the inhabitants of the Kingdom. As strange as it looked, the environment looked beautiful. The grass is very smooth and soft, and everything had a nice polish to it. They did seem to take good care of this place. Applejack grudgingly got up from the grass, and held her head.

"Ugh. What happened? Ah feel worse than when ah tried to do Big Mac's chores by mahself. Why am ah back at Sweet Apple Acres? And what's with all the floatin' bricks?"

The country pony starts to look around, and notices no sign of the barn, or anything that would resemble Sweet Apple Acres. There wasn't even an apple tree!

"Wait a minute. Where's the barn? Where's anythang? Ah don't think this is Sweet Apple Acres. And mah element's gone missin'!"

Applejack decides to walk up to the weird floating bricks, and see what the big deal about them was.

"Hmm, somethin' tells me that there's somethin' in one of these floatin' blocks."

AJ starts hitting one of the blocks, and a bunch of golden coins start coming out.

"It's fulla bits! Ah bet there's more of these around here! Ah could use the money to renovate the barn, once ah figure out what's goin' on around here."

Applejack hits a strange yellow block with a question mark on it, and a strange mushroom pops out of it.

"What's this? Ah don't think I've seen anythang like this before."

She eats the mushroom relatively quickly. It had a weird flavour to it, but it tasted quite good.

"Not bad, but--WHOAH!"

Not long after eating it, Applejack seemed to have grown in size. Just what was in these mushrooms?

"What the hay just happened to me? Ah suddenly feel like ah could buck all the apple fields in Equestria!"

She slowly started shrinking back to normal size.

"Well that didn't last very long..."

Over in the distance, the pony notices a castle. And decides that it would be the most suitable place to visit, and learn just what in Equestria was going on right now.

"A castle? Ah bet that whoever's there can help me!"

Then AJ saw a strange looking ship headed towards the castle. This couldn't be good. She slowly started to follow it to the castle.

"Mario! Help me!"

A Toad ran up to Mario and Luigi, and told them to hurry and save the princess.

"The princess has been captured! Mario, Luigi. You have to save her!"

"No problem! Let's a go!"

"Oh yeah!"

As the two famous brothers were on their way to save the princess, Applejack was observing what was going on, without being spotted by anyone. She saw a weird turtle like creature with spikes on it's shell, in a weird looking clown car? That really confused the country pony, but it wasn't important right now. She had to do something. And fast!

"That doesn't look good. Ah have to do somethin' and fast!"

AJ frantically started looking around for anything to help. She saw another one of those floating blocks, and wondered if another mushroom was inside.

"Maybe there's another mushroom in this block."

A mushroom falls out and Applejack eats it right away, and turns big once more.

"Alright, better make this count!"

Applejack got out a rope and started spinning it around, getting ready to snag the weird clown car thing. She always kept spare rope with her, for emergencies like this.

"HAHAHA! Now I can---WHAT THE?! HEY! Mario's already on the job? That's a first."

The clown car starts to lose it's balance, and starts tumbling down to the ground. With a dizzy Bowser to boot.

"Now to save---"

Mario and Luigi use this opening to save the Princess, and Bowser starts to get back up. This was not his plan at all.

"NOOO! That's not how it's supposed to work! Grrr. I'll have to come up with a better plan next time... I'LL BE BACK!"

Bowser flies off in his clown car, back to his own castle.

"Mario, you saved me again! Thank goodness you had that rope."

"That wasn't me, Princess."

"Then who threw that rope?"

"Ah did."

Applejack reveals herself to the Italian plumbers, and the princess.

"Oh my goodness, it's a talking horse. Well thank you for saving me from that awful Bowser. I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't shown up. How can I repay you?"

"Well ah could use some help."

"We'll discuss it at the castle with some cake."

"Yahoo!"

And the 4 of them made their way inside the castle to devour some nice cake, and explain their situation. AJ knew that this was going to be one heck of a journey...

Chapter 4 - The Start of Many Journeys

Applejack, Peach, and the Mario Brothers all make their way to Peach's Castle. Peach being the kind spirited princess that she is, sets a table out for the 4 of them, where they can discuss their recent events. A Toad jumps in, deciding to be nice and makes tea for the group. While drinking, Applejack tells the 3 about what has happened before she ended up in the Mushroom Kingdom, as well as some history of Equestria. Mostly the elements of harmony and her friends. They were pretty shocked to hear about all this. Especially the part when she teleported through dimensions to get here.

"...and the next thing ah knew, I ended up here. And you know the rest from that, your highness."

"Oh my, so you're from another dimension? That's incredible!"

Peach has seen a lot of weird things, considering how many times she has been kidnapped. But even still, a orange cow pony travelling through dimensions had her full interest. Applejack can't dawdle around for long though. She needs to find her element, and friends fast!

"And ah need to find mah element because that went missing along with mah friends."

"Well, we'd be happy to help you, Applejack."

The Toad that volunteered to make tea, was found cleaning up the kitchen. He was overhearing their conversation. After hearing the Princess say she wanted to help too, his ears instantly perked up.

"Princess, you're going too?"

"Oh of course! I can't just sit around waiting to be kidnapped for the millionth time! I need to take action for once!"

To this Toad chuckled. She was right. It was about time she took action around here. However, he insisted on helping. He was one of the rare Toads that was actually brave and could stand up for himself. It's a shame half the guards aren't like that.

"Well I'm coming too, to protect you from any danger!"

"Thank you for the offer Toad, but that's what Mario and Luigi are here for. You guard the castle in case Bowser decides to come back."

Toad simply sighs in defeat. She had a point. Bowser had a tendency to show up at any moment. Probably would be best for him to stay after all...

"...Oh alright."

Applejack tipped her hat to the others as a sign of appreciation.

"Thank you all. Ah could use all the help ah could get to be honest."

"Well, then we'd better get going, right guys?"

Mario and Luigi instantly jumped into the air, pumping their fists out for joy. Those 2 were always for the adventure.

"Oh yeah!"

"They are a lively bunch aren' they?"

Applejack could see the look in their eyes. The way they shine at this new fresh adventure that is lied out in front of them.

"Oh yes definitely! They are the heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom so it's only natural they'd be like that."

Peach giggled slightly after talking about the brothers. She found them very fun to be around. Applejack simply smiled and nodded. She had a feeling she was going to get along with these guys just fine.

Back in the Animal Crossing dimension, 3 fillies are found on the Main Street, worn out after trying to do loads of different tasks for their cutie marks. They have been trying things for hours, but to no avail. They had tried making clothes for the Able Sisters, but that ended horribly. They even tried writing their own songs, but that didn't turn out too well. They attempted to make important news reports on the bulletin board as well, but they never did put anything serious on it. Some of them were "The train is actually called the Gummy express! And Gummy clones are going to attack worldwide!" "Evil crabs are out to rule over Equestria." And "The Ever Free Forest has infested this strange town. Oh yes I'm writing this on the board..." And they had even tried making golden shovels. But they gave up really quickly. It wasn't worth the trouble they decided.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders are in a small field, lying down hopelessly. It was yet, another failed attempt at gaining their cutie marks. It doesn't take a genius to know that they really want them now.

"Ah don't get it. We've been doin' all these favors for everyone around here and we still don't got our cutie marks!"

Applebloom grunted in frustration while Sweetie Belle was, at-least somewhat happy with the things they have been given by the residents.

"At least they gave us all this nice stuff."

Scootaloo groaned. She thought it was nice and all yeah, but they didn't feel like they needed any of those things right now.

"Yeah, but what good's that going to do to us?"

"We just have to keep tryin'!"

"But I don't think anyone here needs anymore help. All they've been talking about is tips on catching fish, bugs and
digging up fossils, and these weird clay things."

Sweetie Belle then picks up a gyroid, and the 3 were extremely confused as to what the thing was. It wasn't long until they were zapped out of confusion however, as a voice was heard not too far away.

Isabelle looks out into the distance, and sees the 3 fillies lying on the field.

"Mayor, Pinkie! I think I found your friends!"

"Hey, that's Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo! What are they doing here? HEY! IT'S ME, PINKIE!"

Applebloom then slowly got up. Could that be Pinkie? How did she end up here? Then again, how did we all end up here? What is going on?!

"Was that Pinkie Pie?"

"I see her over there!"

"But who's that with her?"

Pinkie bounced up to the 3 in glee. With a super happy smile on her face. To say she was happy to see 3 of her friends from back home would be a MASSIVE understatement.

"I never thought I'd run into you guys here. How'd you end up here anyway?"

"Well, we were planning our usual route of Ponyville to see what we can do to get our cutie marks."

As Applebloom explained this, Isabelle was very confused. She has never heard of something called a cutie mark before.

"What's a cutie mark?"

"It's a picture on the side of everypony's flank that shows what their special talent is, and these 3 don't have theirs yet."

"Ah I see! So you think you three will find out what your calling is by doing these tasks?"

Sweetie Belle perked up almost instantly to that.

"Yep! Anyway, we'd planned our route and suddenly there was a ripple in the sky and this place just appeared out of nowhere. So we decided to check it out."

Scootaloo frowned. They still didn't earn their marks.

"And so far, still no cutie marks."

"Hmm. Well I think you guys might have bigger things to worry about, with being in a new dimension and all. Another thing I should tell you is that, Pinkie's friends and element have all gone missing. We need to help her find them.

"That gives me an idea! You girls thinkin' what ahm thinkin'?"

The 3 grouped together and shouted, "CUTIE MARK CRUSADER TREASURE TRACKERS, YAY!"

Isabelle felt sweat dropping down from her forehead. They seemed like a lot to handle. But still. Their hearts are in the right place, and they do seem pretty nice.

"Are they always like this?"

"Uh huh!"

Pinkie Pie went up to Isabelle's ears, and whispered into them. As to not alert anyone around them. Including any of the CMC.

"Between you and me, they all have talents, they just haven't figured out that for themselves."

"Then why don't you just tell them?"

"Because the writers of the episodes don't allow that."

"What?"

"Nevermind."

"That was a close one Pinkie. Don't wanna go spouting out things like that. Who knows who could be reading this right?"

"Hahaha! You said it author! I guess I should keep myself from bringing up stuff like that. Hasbro are definitely not going to appreciate things like that! Oh well. Do you want a cupcake?"

"Oh sure! I've been craving cupcakes for a while now. WOW! This is really good! Thanks Pinkie!"

"You are welcome! After all, you are writing this super amazing spectacular awesomerific story with your friend right? It's the least I can do."

"Uh speaking of which. I think we should get back to the story Pinkie. I think Isabelle is about to lose her brain right about now..."

"OH! I suppose you're right!"

Isabelle was extremely, EXTREMELY confused now. What in the world just happened?!?

"Ummmm..... Pinkie? Mind telling me just who in the world you were talking to???"

"Oh it was nothing. I just like talking I guess! Lah lah lah."

Pinkie turns her head to the screen and quickly winks. Isasbelle just shook her head. So many things have happened today, it has been crazy for her. To get over this, Isasbelle tells the CMC about the mayor of the town. Villager.

"So you mean to tell me he runs the town? But he's just a kid."

"Well to be perfectly honest, he was pretty uncertain of being able to run this town, but as his loyal secretary, I offered him advice and helped him become the responsible mayor a town like this could ever have! It also helps that I cover the paperwork for any public works projects he funds."

"So that means he doesn't do all the planning at all? What exactly does he do?"

"Well look at this place, he's planted so many flowers and fruit trees and thanks to the beautiful town ordinance the fruit and flowers never die, weeds never grow and our waters are free of any garbage!"

Pinkie noticed a strange thing in the ground after happily bouncing over it.

"Hey, there's a weird crack in the ground!"

"Maybe there's something buried there. Mayor, you know what to do!"

The Villager pulls out his shovel and digs it up.

"Check it out! I dug up a strange glowing diamond!"

Isabelle started to inspect the gem. It looked very valuable.

"I've never seen anything like this before! Maybe we should keep it safe."

"Something tells me that rock looks pretty important."

"What do you think it is?"

Pinkie smiled and shrugged.

"I dunno."

Isabelle noticed her tail acting a little weird. What was this about?

"Uh...Pinkie Pie, I think there's something wrong with your tail."

"It's my Pinkie Sense. Maybe there's something close by."

Pinkie Pie points towards where the Mushroom Kingdom is. And they notice 4 small beings moving. It was too blurry to make it out though.

"We should go this way!"

"Over there? But I don't think I've seen that part of New Smashville before. But something about that castle looks familiar. What do you think, Mayor?"

Villager thinks for a minute, then a lightbulb appears above his head, and he puts on a Mario hat.

"Uh, what does that mean?"

"It means this is where Mario lives and Pinkie's Pinkie Sense seems to be drawing us towards there."

Scootaloo jumped up in pure joy and excitement.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's not stand around for any longer! Let's GO!!"

WELL! This was finished a lot later than it really should have. I am terribly sorry about that guys, and I know this should have been up yesterday. It's really hard to find time for this, when you are focusing on so many other projects at the same time. Plus my family are pretty loud a lot of the time, so it's hard to find a quiet time to write these too. Thank you all for the patience. I really appreciate it a lot! :) And I promise you, the next chapter won't take so long this time! XD

Chapter 5 - The Captain And Fasionista

A life-form named Olimar, lives on a planet named Hocotate. He works at a company called Hocotate Freight, and recently returned temporarily from a vacation. He travelled into space with his spaceship: The S.S Dolphin. However, things didn't turn out well, as an asteroid managed to hit Olimar's ship, making him crash land on an uncharted planet some have named: PNF-404. It wasn't all doom and gloom for the space traveller though. Thanks to these strange creatures Olimar named Pikmin, he was able to fix his ship in no time, and return home. However, the company he works for, Hocotate Freight wasn't doing so good. They had become bankrupt because according to Olimar's co-worker Louie, these gold brand pik-pik carrots that he was supposed to deliver were eaten by a "ravenous space bunny". They had to pay off 10, 000 pokos, and all they could do was sell Olimar's ship, the S.S Dolphin. However, Olimar realised that there was treasure back on the planet, and had no choice but to board a new talking ship with his companion, Louie. They were successful in paying off the debt. But after 5 months of the adventure, Their President started becoming very greedy with the amount of money they had. So greedy that he ended up spending more things then he could afford. Causing the company to be in a debt once more. This time they had to pay off 15, 000 pokos. The President really should watch what he spends his money on... It's now time for Olimar and Louie to travel back to the Pikmin Planet.

They have gathered a load of treasures now, they have 7000 pokos. But somehow Louie has gone missing after looking for some food. Olimar is going down to the Garden of Hope to try to find his friend, and find a very invaluable treasure. But that might not be the only thing he finds...

"Bzzzzzrrt! Captain Olimar! My sensors have detected an unknown life form is in the area! You must find it and bring it back for analysis!"

The ship used the speaker on it's hull to communicate with the Captain.

Olimar nodded, and got an army of Pikmin out of the Onions. He proceeded to find this "unknown life form". He didn't need to walk far until finding what looked to be a white unicorn pony unconscious on the ground.

"Oh my. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. Maybe it's a new specimen on this planet. Whatever it is, I must take it back to the ship for more research."

Olimar uses his whistle to gather up the Pikmin, and tell them to lift up the pony.

However she seems to be waking up...

"Ugh...that certainly was no beauty rest. Why is everything moving?"

After rubbing her eyelids and seeing what was going on, she saw the strange creatures carrying her.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

The Pikmin are extremely frightened from the sudden outburst and start frantically running around in circles. Leaving Rarity to drop back onto the ground.

"Oof! What ARE these...things?!"

"Amazing! It talks! Excuse me!"

As soon as Olimar started talking, Rarity began to freak out again. This was going to be interesting alright.

"EEEK! What are you? Some sort of alien?"

"Please calm down, I mean you no harm."

Olimar put his hands out in front of him, trying to get her to relax.

"Then why were your little friends carrying me?"

Olimar proceeds to use the whistle again to gather the Pikmin back to him.

"I apologize for the misunderstanding. You see, I was on a very important mission. The company I work for is bankrupt, and the treasure found on this planet can pay it off. I've received word that a rare treasure is located somewhere in this region, so I am on the look out for it. What about you Miss..uh..oh silly me! I didn't even properly introduce myself! I am Captain Olimar from Planet Hocotate. And these are known as Pikmin."

The Pikmin enthusiastically waved, with a yellow Pikmin climbing on top of Rarity, and tilting his head. Rarity giggled at the Pikmin. They seem to be very cute creatures.

"I'm Rarity from Equestria."

Now this was starting to become interesting for the space captain. Never before had he heard of any planets called Equestria before.

"Equestria? I don't think I'm familiar with that planet..."

Olimar began scratching his chin in thought.

"Incoming Transmission! Captain Olimar! Please return to base camp!"

"What was that?"

Olimar jumped up almost instantly. Usually when the ship had an "Incoming Transmission" something had gone horribly wrong. Better check to see what has happened fast!

"My ship. It must be important! We'll finish this later."

They all ran as fast as they could back to the talking ship.

"Captain Olimar! You've returned! And you brought back the specimen too!"

Rarity gasped. Being called a "specimen"??! That felt insulting to her.

"Is that any way to treat a lady? Honestly!"

"And it talks too! We must analyze it immediately for further research!"

Olimar shook his head. There's no time for this.

"That's not important. What's the emergency?"

"I will play the transmission right away!"

A transmission screen appears, showing Alph. Another life-form who had gone to this planet like Olimar before him.

"I don't have much time! My crew members have been eaten by a mysterious *bzzzzzzrt* I don't know how much longer I can hold *bzzzzzzzrt* Nearly all the Pikmin I have *bzzzzzzzrt* If anyone gets this message, please *bzzzzzzzrt*"

The transmission then cuts out. This can't be any kind of good...

"Who was that?"

Rarity asked out of curiosity.

"A friend of mine who helped me out of a really tough situation. He needs my help!"

"I can help too!"

"I appreciate the offer, but this is far too dangerous for someone like you to handle, and I don't want anyone else to get hurt."

Olimar had already lost his companion, and now a friend who had helped him out in the past. The last thing he wants is to lose someone else.

"Back home, me and my friends have always worked as a team to stop whatever is trying to take over Ponyville! I insist you take me with you!"

Olimar sighed. Looks like he had no choice.

"If you think that's the case, then there's no stopping you I guess. I could use all the help I could get since Louie has been missing for a while."

"Who's Louie?"

"He's my co-worker. He went to find some food for us but he hasn't come back. Probably ate everything no doubt. Where ever he is, I hope he's alright."

They then started travelling across the Garden of Hope, with Rarity beginning to explain more about where she comes from. Olimar was very intrigued about this new discovery. This is definitely something he's going to tell his family!

"So you're actually from another dimension? That's fascinating! What's your world like?"

"Well it's usually peaceful in Ponyville when it's not in danger. Not that Ponyville's always in danger I mean. I run a fashion boutique and make dresses for my clients. What about you? What's your world like?"

"Ah, well to be perfectly honest, I work for a delivery company back on Hocotate. I decided I needed a vacation, but my ship collided with an asteroid and crashed on this planet. I was able to escape thanks to the help of my Pikmin, but my boss used up all the company's money and then some. And so he sent me and Louie back here to repay the debt by collecting these treasures on this planet. We arrived with the company's ship that you've already been acquainted with."

"Why that's awful! Back in Ponyville there's a spa I regularly go to. I think you look like you could relax."

"Honestly, I'd like that."

The antenna on Olimar's helmet started flashing. It seems they are coming close to where the transmission was sent.

"The source of the transmission seems to be coming from this area. I suggest we start making our way before sundown hits."

"Why is that?"

"Because once night falls, this area becomes much more dangerous. The nocturnal creatures are more active."

"This place is filled with creatures?"

"Oh yes. Big ones that can eat you if you're not careful."

"Eek!"

Rarity started to shake in fear. She didn't want to get eaten by strange creatures!

"Oh don't worry. I've dealt with these creatures thanks to my Pikmin. But it's still a good idea to be careful."

"Suddenly this place makes the Everfree Forest seem tame compared to this!"

Yeah I know I'm terribly late once again. *Sigh* again, this is what happens when you have so many things happening at once. I have multiple things I'm trying to edit at this moment in time, including a game review, and I've also started college now. So I am starting to settle into a more organised routine. This may be up for Friday, but this was actually edited during Tuesday. I am trying to get Chapters 5-7 done by this week. So then I have a chapter ready for you guys on Friday (which is today for you all but you get the idea), Monday, and next Friday. That is my planned schedule at this moment in time. If all goes well, delays as long as this should not happen again. Really sorry about that guys! ^_^'

Chapter 6 - Kindness and Curiosity on Yoshi's Island

Pit and co have now found themselves within Yoshi's Island, ready to see if anything of value lies within.

"Looks like we're here. Dark Pit. Since you're the only one who can fly, you scout the area from above while the rest of us do a ground search. We'll meet back in 5 minutes."

Dark Pit shrugged, and proceeded to do just that.

"Whatever floats your boat."

As he flew off, Dash and Pit were folding their arms/hooves and hating the fact that they couldn't fly anymore.

"It stinks not being able to fly."

"Tell me about it."

"I bet if my wings worked, I'd scout the island in no time!"

Sonic put a finger to his chin in thought. It would be much quicker if the gang split up!

"I say we split up so we can cover more ground."

"Good thinking, Sonic. Pit, if anything goes wrong, be sure to contact me."

Pit gave Palutena a salute sign.

"Right, Lady Palutena!"

Rainbow then started to get curious. What in Equestria was up with the name of this place anyway?

"Why is it called Yoshi's Island in the first place?"

"That's because it's the home of friendly dinosaurs called Yoshis. They're very friendly, so I'm sure if we find one, he'll be of good help.
Sonic and Shadow, you two cover one side of the island boarders, I'll head towards the centre of the island. Pit and Rainbow Dash, you go west."

"We should be able to cover ground in no time!"

"I'd be careful though. This place is full of creatures."

Pit began to get worried about Palutena's safety. The last thing he wanted was for her to be under mind control again.

"What about you, Lady Palutena? What'll happen if you get attacked?"

Palutena smiled.

"HOORAY SMILES!"

"Pinkie Pie!? What are you doing here?!? You're not supposed to be in this chapter!"

"Woops!"

"...Well anyways..."

"I still have my staff. You have your bow and light arrows. Remember. Meet back here in 5 minutes. Good luck."

As they started heading off to their set destinations, Shadow stopped for a bit. He sensed powerful energy somewhere close...

"Wait."

"Hmm? What is it, Shadow?"

"I can sense something. It feels like a Chaos Emerald is here."

"Then we gotta find it and fast before it falls into the wrong hands!"

Sonic smirked, giving Shadow a thumbs up, with Shadow frowning and folding his arms in response. Sonic shrugged.

In Pit's location, he and Dash seem to have located something, with Pit getting ready to contact Lady Palutena.

"Lady Palutena, I found something! Should we head back?"

"Of course."

Palutena proceeded to contact Dark Pit.

"Dark Pit, find the others and tell them to meet us back where we started."

"Understood."

They all made their way back to the starting point.

"Alright, Pit. What did you find?"

"We found an egg."

Sonic huffed. It wasn't a chilli dog. He surely could go for one right now.

"Well, it's no chilli dog, but it'll have to do. All this running around made me hungry anyways."

The egg began to move.

"It moved!"

Not long after, it hatched, revealing a green baby dinosaur called a Yoshi.

"Yoshi!"

"It's a Yoshi!"

RD gave the creature a strange look.

"A what now?"

"Yoshis are dragon creatures and they're very friendly. Maybe this one can help us."

Yoshi's stomach began to grumble. Poor guy is starving!

"I think it's hungry."

Suddenly they could hear screaming in the distance.

"Did you hear that?"

Dash went wide eyed. She knew that voice from anywhere!

"That sounded like Fluttershy! But what's she doing here?"

"We have to find her. It sounds like she's in danger."

"Then let's not waste any more time!"

Shadow followed them, sensing the energy there anyway.

"The energy of the Chaos Emerald seems to be coming from there anyway."

"Hopefully it's safe."

On the other side of the island, loads of enemies found in Yoshi's Island had Fluttershy surronded.

"Please don't hurt me! I-I didn't know this was your spot."

As they started to get closer, she screamed again. Suddenly Yoshi came, using his tongue to eat all the shy guys and goombas.

"Huh? Where'd they go?"

Yoshi burped.

"Did you...save me?"

"Yoshi!"

"Oh, thank you! I don't know what I would've done if they hurt me. Out here all alone, without my friends. I don't know why I agreed to do that spell with Twilight and the others. Who knows where they all are? And my element's gone too."

Pit and the gang followed the dinosaur's footprints.

"I think Yoshi went this way."

"That guy can move pretty quick."

As they made it to where Yoshi is, they found Fluttershy.

"Is that? Rainbow Dash?"

"Fluttershy! Thank Celestia we found you! I thought I heard a scream so we followed the source. Are you alright?"

The 2 hugged each other in reunion ship. It was good to see a familiar face again.

"I am now, thanks to this little guy."

"Yoshi!"

"What is that thing anyway? I've never seen anything like it."

"it's a Yoshi. He's very friendly."

Flutters smiled. He saved her. Such a nice little creature she thought.

"I can tell. He did save me. So who are your new friends?"

After Dash introduced everyone to her and how they got here, Fluttershy was surprised at the things this Eggman character had done. Turning animals into robots?! What monster would do such a cruel thing!?!

"Oh my. This Eggman person sounds horrible."

"You have no idea."

Fluttershy began looking around to find the source of the voice.

"Where'd that come from?"

"It's Viridi again."

"If I can add something here, I think I saw three strange looking dogs with a Chaos Emerald in the depths of the rainforest."

Shadow briefly smiled.

"I knew I felt a Chaos Emerald."

"Anyway, you should start heading north. They should be there and they seemed to be rambling about finding more."

Shadow closed his eyes and smirked.

"Obviously they don't realize there's only 7 Chaos Emeralds in existence."

Shy gasped. They sound like those diamond dogs! Why here now of all times??

"They sound like the Diamond Dogs. But I thought they left Ponyville ages ago."

Pit suddenly realised something. Viridi was watching all along, yet didn't say anything until now! What was up with that?

"Hey, Viridi, how come you didn't say anything before? We could've used your help 5 minutes ago."

"You seemed like you had everything under control. Besides, you have Palutena with you."

Palutena added:

"And we could use all the help we can get."

Viridi rolled her eyes.

"Someone has to stay and keep an eye on things. The least I can do is give Dark Pit the help he needs."

"Not that I need it anyways."

"You know, I can take your powers away just as easily as I can give you them. And you already used up the power of flight in this chapter. So I'd watch the attitude, mister!"

"...fine."

"Anyway, good luck. You'll need it."

Fluttershy had a blank face on her.

"Who was that anyway?"

"That was Viridi. The Goddess of Nature. But she has a bit of a grudge against humans."

As Palutena explained who Viridi was, another question popped up. What was a human that she spoke of?

"What's a human?"

Without going into too much detail, Pit decided to explain it in the simplest possible way.

"Kinda like us, but not immortal."

And so the gang headed off together in search for these Diamond Dogs... What could be in store for them? Find out next time! Actually not next time because we'll be switching up to Twilight again. But next time as in when we go back to these guys. Sound good? Good. Okay end of chapter goodbye! =P

Well! Sorry this took so long. That has to be a catchphrase from me at this point seriously! XD But you'll be glad to know, that chapter 7 is ALREADY fully done and dusted, and ready to be published for Monday! So no worries about that.

Unrelated note: I'm going to a gaming convention tomorrow afternoon! Can't express my excitement man! There's going to be a ton of stuff to do! Including demos of Smash Bros., Splatoon, Sonic Boom and so many other things! It's gonna be a great weekend for me! And also let's not forget, Equestria Girls 2: Rainbow Rocks is releasing tomorrow as well!! =D I don't know about you all, but I'm really looking forward to this sequel.

P.S: Gonna be adding these unrelated notes here from now on. They have nothing in relation to the story, but it's just a way for me to interact with you guys by just generally talking about what's up with me lately I guess. What do you all think about it?

Chapter 7 - Nightmare Woods

Back in Dream Land, Dedede and Escargoon are in the throne room discussing what Kirby, Twilight and the gang might be looking for.

"Sire, whatever that purple pony's looking for has to be important if Kirby's involved."

Escargoon said, informing his ruler. The gang couldn't have gone out for no good reason...

"You make a good point. We gotta get to Whispy Woods before they do and find it ourselves. Then maybe we can use it to finally get Kirby! EH-HEH-HEH-HEH!"

Meanwhile, Twilight and the gang are heading down the pathway of Whispy Woods...

"Tiff, you said that Kirby is a Star Warrior, right?"

Twilight was really curious about this. How could such a cute pink puffball like Kirby be a warrior?!

"That's right. Star Warriors are noble heroes who protect planets from monsters like the ones King Dedede sends out to try and defeat Kirby."

Twilight started stroking her chin in thought.

"Kirby doesn't seem like one. He's always so playful, and innocent."

"Poyo!"

Kirby happily exclaimed with a huge smile. Tuff then decided to jump into the conversation.

"He doesn't know better yet. Meta Knight said he was in his starship sleeping when it suddenly set a course here. Kirby wasn't supposed to wake up for a really long time so he's just a baby Star Warrior."

Tiff piped up.

"But he's always been able to protect us."

"Well... I guess you're right. But still, all that responsibility and he's still so playful."

Spike decided to remind Twilight what he has done in the past. Also being a baby dragon.

"Well, remember what we've been through, Twilight? Remember when I saved the Crystal Empire?"

"And you're still my #1 assistant, Spike."

Twilight said as she gave Spike a noogie.

"Aww, thanks Twilight."

Tiff recognised their environment. They had made it into Whispy Woods.

"Well, here we are. I'm sure when we find Whispy, he'll tell us where your element is."

"Meta Knight didn't say it was my element, but let's hope it is."

Meanwhile with King Dedede...

"Alright everyone, search the entire area until we find that shiny object! Leave no stone unturned, and clear the forest if necessary!"

Captain Waddle Doo declared to the Waddle Dees.

"That was a great idea bringing along them Waddle Dees."

King Dedede declared.

"Now for phase 2 of our plan!"

Dedede and Escargoon both clasped their hands together.

"Heheheheheheh!"

Out in the distance they could hear Kirby.

"Poyo!"

Both of them hugged each other in fright.

"AHH!"

"Kirby's here!"

"Then why are we still standing around here for? Let's get a move on!"

Whispy started waking up as Dedede and Escargoon started running towards him.

"Hmm? What's going on? Something doesn't feel right."

"Whispy!"

"Thank goodness we found you!"

Dedede raised his hands and frantically tried to explain.

"It's Kirby! 2 purple monsters have taken over him, Tiff and Tuff. And only you have the power to stop him before he tears down the whole forest!"

Whispy frowned with an angry face.

"I'm not helping you after you tried to destroy the forest for your own personal gain. Besides, Kirby wouldn't just let himself get mind-controlled like that."

Escargoon then jumped in.

"Guess he didn't get the memo. Remember that demon frog?"

"And I could've used its pow---uh, what I meant to say was you gotta stop Kirby to save him."

Whispy completely ignored the two, as he felt a strange presence nearby.

"Something doesn't seem ri---AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Dedede scratched his head.

"What's happening?"

"I don't know, but I'm scared!"

Suddenly Whispy found himself to be completely covered in a dark aura with light green eyes.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I am free! Now I can spread darkness across this new land! This new world shall know the name of Nightmare Moon!"

Dedede tried to calmly explain.

"On second thought, I have a better idea."

"What's that?"

"RUUUUUUN!"

Both of them started running away from the forest as fast as possible, running into Kirby and the gang in the process.

"Is that Dedede?"

"And Escargoon! What are they doing here?"

Dedede ran past, shoving them both out of the way.

"OUTTA MY WAY!"

"WAIT FOR ME, SIRE!"

Suddenly branches appear, trapping everyone in.

"You're not going anywhere!"

"What was that?"

"That sounded like Whispy!"

Nightmare Moon begins inspecting her new body, feeling quite proud of it.

"This new body serves me quite well. Every single one of you will be the first to witness a new era of darkness!"

Twilight gasped in shock.

"That voice...! It can't be!"

"I think it is!"

"But that's impossible! I thought Nightmare Moon was defeated!"

"Well well well. Twilight Sparkle! It's been a while since our last encounter! I see you're now a princess!"

Tiff started to become confused.

"Twilight, how does Whispy know you?"

"That's not Whispy. I'm afraid it's an old foe of mine, Nightmare Moon."

Tuff was now also very curious.

"Who's that?"

"When I first moved to Ponyville, I had a sneaking suspicion that Nightmare Moon would return and try to plunge Equestria in total darkness. Nightmare Moon is the result of the jealousy built up in Princess Luna. In a last ditch effort, Princess Celestia had to banish Luna to the moon for 1000 years. She managed to return, but thanks to the elements of harmony, me, and my friends, we were all able to defeat her."

Nightmare Whispy started getting aggravated with all the talk.

"Enough talk! With this new form, I will use every ounce of my power to destroy you and all you hold dear! Come, my minions! Destroy these pests! Have a taste of my power!"

Nightmare Whispy said as she threw rotten apples that formed on her towards the group.

"Poyo!"

Kirby sucked in one of the apples, and spat it out towards Whispy.

"What was that? You dare use my own weapons against me? I think I'll destroy you first, you pink pest!"

"Kirby, run!"

"Poyo!!"

"Oh no you don't!"

Nightmare Whispy uproots razor sharp branches in Kirby's path.

"We gotta hide!"

Tuff declared, giving Twilight a confused expression.

"But we can't just leave Kirby, he's getting badly injured!"

Tiff reassured her.

"It'll be okay, Twilight. Kirby's faced tougher situations before. We just have to believe in him."

Twilight reluctantly agreed.

"...You're right."

"I got an idea! There's gotta be something Kirby can inhale, right?"

Tiff clicked her fingers. Tuff was onto something!

"You're right! If we can find something for him to inhale, he can transform and fight back!"

Twilight scratched her head.

"Kirby can transform?"

"Kirby's got a really big appetite and he can suck up things like a vacuum. We need to find him an object and he can copy its power."

Suddenly, Tiff notices a strange glimmer of light coming from behind a tree. She goes to pick the shiny object up, inspecting it.

"What's that thing?"

Tuff came up and gave a close look at it.

"It's a strange blue diamond."

The "blue diamond" began to start glowing insanely bright. Nightmare Whispy had to cover her eyes with one of her branches to block most of the light from her vision.

"What's that blinding light?!"

The Emerald then managed to send it's energy towards Twilight, with a huge blue aura of energy coming out of it towards her.

"Twilight, are you alright?"

"I'm fine. I feel like a huge burst of energy just entered me."

Twilight's horn began to glow it's normal colour. (Yes I am from the UK. It's colour here. Get over it =P)

"Twilight, your horn! It's glowing! Try using magic!"

Twilight then proceeded to use her magic to shoot out a beam towards Whispy.

"OW! That really hurt! Where did that power come from?"

As she tried finding who caused it, Twilight appeared in her eyesight, with a determined expression.

"I did that!"

Nightmare Whispy began to do a nasty looking grin.

"So, Twilight Sparkle. It seems you've gotten stronger since our last encounter. I guess you becoming a princess was a good choice after all. But this will be the last thing you do!"

"Twilight, charge up another magic beam but aim it at Kirby."

"Are you sure about this?"

Twilight began charging another beam, and aimed it towards Kirby.

"I'm positive! Kirby! Suck it up!"

"Poyo!"

"Hold on to something, guys! Twilight, now's your chance!"

"I hope you're on to something here."

Twilight proceeds to fire her beam, with Kirby sucking it up afterwards. After a fancy transformation sequence that I am too lazy to write, Kirby has become Beam Kirby.

"Sweet Celestia...!"

Twilight's mouth was agape, amazed by what she had just witnessed.

Tuff fist pumped the air in excitement.

"Alright! It's Beam Kirby!"

Nightmare Whispy was also confused. She couldn't believe how this small creature could hold this much power!

"What?! How can such power come from a small body such as this?!"

"I thought you would've remembered from the last time, Nightmare Moon! Kirby, let's finish this!"

"Poyo!"

Twilight and Kirby both started charging their attacks up to maximum power, and then launched them both right at the same time.

"NOOOOOOO! HOW COULD I LET THIS HAPPEN?! CURSE THIS BODY! THIS ISN'T OVER, TWILIGHT SPARKLE!"

Nightmare Moon's spirit begins to fly out of Whispy's body, and goes out into the distance. Whispy begins to regain consciousness.

"What happened to me?"

Twilight walked up to the tree, explaining the situation.

"You were possessed by Nightmare Moon, but Kirby and I saved you."

"Poyo!"

"Thank you, Princess Twilight Sparkle. And you too, Kirby. You've saved the entire forest."

Tiff then remembered 2 others who were a part of this.

"Now there's one thing left to take care of."

Dedede and Escargoon came out of a nearby bush, cowering in fear.

"Is it over yet?"

They both saw Whispy and instantly grabbed each other again and screamed.

"AHH!"

Then Escargoon noticed he seems different than earlier now. And got out of the King's grip.

"Wait. What happened to Whispy?"

"He's back to normal, but what I wanna know is what you two were doing here!?"

Meta Knight managed to appear right behind the gang at this moment in time.

"They were trying to find the object you were looking for."

Twilight stepped back in shock.

"Where did you come from?"

"I followed His Majesty knowing he'd be up to no good as usual. That blue diamond possesses great power and I suggest you keep a hold of it. It could be useful later. I'm sorry I couldn't help you when the time was needed, but the forest was being protected by a magical barrier that my sword couldn't cut through. But I did notice a mysterious spaceship not too far off from here. Perhaps you should investigate."

"Thanks, Meta Knight."

"Now I must return to the castle and continue my training. Until we meet again, my friends."

Meta Knight then proceeded to fly off into the direction of the castle. Twilight and co. now started to look around for this "mysterious spaceship".

Woo! This was a long one! Half of this was actually edited during college believe it or not. Well not edited on the computer. Basically I got the script, printed it all out, got some paper, and during my free time in college, I wrote as much as I could. And it ended up being around a bit over half. Any who though, big things are starting to happen now! Be sure to look out for the next episode soon enough!

Chapter 8 - Villager Comes to Town

We come back with AJ and the gang who are taking a casual stroll through the Mushroom Kingdom.

"So you're saying this Bowser fella kidnaps you on a daily basis?"

"Oh yes. But whenever it does happen, Mario always comes to my rescue. But after you helped me earlier, I decided that I should stop standing by and wait to be kidnapped. I need to defend myself!"

Applejack grinned. It's important for a princess to stay strong for her Kingdom.

"That's the spirit, your highness! Back in Equestria, Princess Celestia would never stand as her kingdom is under attack. She'd do somethin' about it pronto."

However, unbeknownst to Peach and AJ, Bowser Jr was right behind them, and ready to snag Peach in his clown car.

"AHH!"

Applejack looked around to try and find what just took Peach.

"What the hay was that?"

Bowser Jr hovered down to show himself.

"Hehehehehe! I got you now, Princess!"

"Who is that?"

In Italian, Mario tells Applejack that the creature's name is Bowser Jr and that he is Bowser's son.

"So this little guy's related to that other fella ah ran into?"

"Yes."

Suddenly, AJ went off to face the little troublemaker.

"Alright young man, you put down the princess right this instant!"

"Not today! My dad was so mad when he told me you beat him up! So I'm here to finish the job and get you back for what you did!"

"Put me down!"

The princess tried to wiggle free but to no avail.

"Don't even try escaping. It's useless! In fact, I think you'll be more comfy in this cage!"

Bowser Jr used the hand of the clown car to place Peach inside of the cell.

"Oof!"

"There. Much better! Now I wish I could stay, but I must be going now. Peach is gonna be my mama and there's nothing you can do about it!"

"That's what you think!"

As Bowser Jr tried making an escape with the clown car attached to Peach's cell, AJ pulled out a rope to hold the clown car down.

"WOAH!"

"Mario and Luigi. Do your thing!"

"Oh yeah!"

Meanwhile with Pinkie and crew...

"It was nice of those Toads to tell us where your friend went."

"What I wanted to know was what's under those hats. Are they part of their heads or are they really hats? Because I think I saw one of them and she had hair under her mushroom hats so does that mean the guys are bald under those hats or---*mmmhp*"

Villager put his hand over Pinkie's mouth and pointed at Bowser Jr's clown car.

"What is that?"

Villager attempted to explain by putting on many different outfits, and tried acting out what was happening. The others just stared and scratched their heads.

"How does he know all this stuff?"

"I don't think we need to worry about that."

"Mah sister's in trouble! We gotta get over there and help her now!"

Villager nodded, and they made their way towards the clown car.

Mario and Luigi used the splash bros attack on Bowser Jr. (If you have played Superstar Saga, you'll know what that is)

"Ouch! That really hurt! But I'm not finished just yet. Check THIS out!"

Suddenly Bowser Jr's tiny clown car transforms into some sort of mech!

"Mama mia!"

"Waaaahhh!"

"HAHAHA! Whaddya of this? Before I left, an old guy with a big mustache fine-tuned this bad boy and now it's completely invincible! So don't even try to use one of your lame spin jumps, 'cause it won't work!"

With Villager and the others, Villager is trying to explain to the gang what's going on in the same vein he did before.

"Did anypony get what he said out of that?"

"Ooh! Ooh! I know! He said that there's a princess who gets kidnapped by an evil turtle dragon king and two plumbers have to rescue her, but this time the dragon king's son showed up and is trying to kidnap the princess again!"

Villager clapped.

"How did you know that?"

Pinkie shrugged.

"I dunno. Just a feeling I guess."

"Wow! This is awesome! Mario can't even do a scratch on this baby! Now to do what my dad never could! FIRE!"

He proceeds to launch exploding bullet bills out of the mech.

"Mario, Luigi, Applejack! Look out!"

Mario and Luigi do their best to get rid of them by jumping on them, but they exploded on impact.

"Oh no! Mario and Luigi are hurt pretty bad! Maybe ah can round up them bullets."

"Ha! I'd like to see you try, cow pony! FIRE!"

"Ah sure hope this works!"

Applejack uses a rope to lasso the bullet bills.

"Sweet! It worked!"

"And that's what I was hoping for!"

The bullet bill then started fighting back by increasing it's jet thrusters, causing Applejack to lose her grip.

"What the--?!"

You didn't think I'd have a back up plan, did you? Activate homing mechanism!"

The bullet bill, now free from AJ's rope, begins to chase her around.

"Applejack, run!"

Bowser Jr jumped in excitement.

"Hehehe! This is so much fun!"

Out of nowhere, Villager steps onto the scene!

"What the? Who are you?"

"Mayor, wait! You don't know what you're doing!"

Villager reassured Isabelle by putting on a Sonic hat, and giving her a thumbs up.

"Look, kid. Stay out of this! This is none of your business. So unless you want a taste of this puppy, I'd move if I were you!"

Villager refused to move.

"Stubborn, are ya? Well, take this!"

Bowser Jr launches a bullet bill, causing Isabelle to freak out over Villager's safety.

"Oh no! I can't look!"

She started covering her eyes when suddenly the bullet bill was pocketed by Villager!

"What the?! How'd you do that?"

That kid just grabbed that thing like it was nothin'!"

Pinkie Pie suddenly hopped out into the action.

"You said it!"

"Pinkie Pie?"

"I don't know how you did that, but I don't think you can grab this!"

A banzai bill then launched out of the mech. Villager had other plans though. He planted a tree that blocked the banzai bill, and chopped it down to damage the banzai bill.

Bowser Jr jumped back in shock.

"How did a tree manage to stop my Banzai Bill?! What are you?!"

Villager took out the bullet bill from earlier, and before he threw it, he gave Bowser Jr a death glare.

"NO! GO BACK! STOP!"

Jr started sweating and began to swing his arms in the air. Inevitably, the bullet bill hit the mech.

*BOOM!*

"Now I'm really mad! I didn't wanna do this, but now I have no choice! Fire everything!"

Villager got out his butterfly net and proceeded to grab all the fire power.

"Uh oh..."

"We have to help him some how."

"Ooh! I know! We can use my party cannon! I keep party cannons all over Equestria just in case."

"Pinkie, this is no time for a party!"

Suddenly, Isabelle had the idea to dump all the fire power in Pinkie's party cannon!

"Wait a minute! Mayor! Put all of Bowser Jr's firepower in here!"

Villager did just that, and it looked like the cannon was about to burst.

"It looks like this thing is gonna blow any second!"

"Then we should fire it now!"

"B-but I've never done this sort of thing before. What if I miss?"

"JUST DO IT!"

"Everyone, duck and cover!"

Isabelle fired the cannon, launching out everything back at Bowser Jr.

"Nonononononono!"

The mech exploded, with Jr trying to make a last ditch effort to escape by using the badly damaged clown car.

"Uh oh! I gotta get out, now!"

"He's getting away!"

Villager took out a slingshot, and hit the clown car with a direct hit.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!"

The clown car exploded into fireworks, forming a frownie face.

AJ then saw Peach falling from the sky.

"Look! It's Peach!"

"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

Villager pulls out a bed for Peach to safely land on.

"Oof!"

"Are you alright, Princess?"

"Yes. I'm just fine, thanks to this young man here."

Villager blushed.

Suddenly, an orange gem fell onto Villager's head, causing him to rub it in pain.

"What's this?"

"It's another one of those glowing diamonds we found. But this one's orange. Maybe the blue one we found helped Mayor in that fight. Are Mario and Luigi okay?"

"Oh no! They're in bad shape!"

Peach covered her mouth with her hands in shock.

Villager pulled out some medicine for the brothers, and after drinking it, the 2 woke up fully healed.

"Thank goodness you two are okay!"

Peach gave a sigh of relief.

"That's my boss! He always knows what to do!"

"I think you deserve some credit too, Isabelle. You fired the cannon after all."

"I did? I did. That's right! I did that! And what a rush too! Things never get this exciting back home!"

Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo showed up and Applebloom started running towards her big sister.

"Applejack!"

"Apple Bloom? What are you doing here? You three could've gotten hurt! The important thing is you're all safe. Ah just don't know what ah'd do if something awful happened."

Apple Bloom: "We're fine, Applejack. Really. It was all thanks to Villager and Pinkie Pie that we're reunited again!"

They then hugged each other.

"So, now where do we all go from here?"

"I'm sure the writers of this will think of something, right?"

Peach gave Pinkie a confused look.

"Uhh, what are you talking about?"

Isabelle simply shrugged.

"I don't get it either."

Meanwhile, Princess Celestia is found in a strange place filled with nothing but darkness. Suddenly a strange voice started to speak.

"Look who finally woke up."

"Where am I?"

"You are in between two dimensions, my dear Princess. I wouldn't bother trying to waste magic trying to get out. You have no power here."

"I swear on Starswirl's beard that when I get out of here, you are going to regret this!"

"Let's cut straight to the point. Your little student, Twilight Sparkle conjured a little spell. In another dimension, a similar event happened and matched the wavelengths of the spell causing a ripple in the space-time continuum setting me free. We both want something out of this, my dear Princess. However the things I need have been scattered across these 2 worlds. With their combined powers, I can destroy the entire multiverse and re-create it in my own beautiful image!"

Celestia gave whatever was talking to her, a face ready for action.

"Twilight would never let that happen on my watch!"

The being laughed.

"She will if she ever wants to see her mentor again! In fact, I think it's time her friends were paid a visit from a rather underworldly guest. Ciao, Princess!"

The being then left the princess to ponder on the words that he told her.

Unrelated note: This was supposed to be released last Friday (yeah getting tired of me talking about being late yet) but Smash Bros. 3DS got released and well.... Let's just say most of my time during the weekend went to that. XD Since this story is based off of Super Smash Bros., how are you guys enjoying the game so far? I can't get enough of it! Definitely makes me even more excited for the Wii U version hopefully in November! =D

Chapter 9 - Chaos and Calamity

Back on the Pikmin planet, Olimar and Rarity have just woken up on the Hocotate Ship.

"Good morning, Miss Rarity. Did you sleep well?"

"Actually yes. It was surprisingly roomy."

Olimar breathed in content, and pulled his Kopad out of his backpack. He was given the Kopad by the three travellers who saved his life.

"According to this, the signal seems to be coming from this direction. I suggest we head out there immediately. Now, I was monitoring the transmission and it appears from what I can make out of the signal, the creature apparently uses water to attack. So I should probably use blue Pikmin if I ever want to stand a chance."

Rarity showed signs of hunger. She hadn't eaten anything for the past day!

"Can't we get something to eat first? I'm feeling a tad hungry."

"Oh. Of course. Luckily I packed extra reserves and hid them in case Louie ate all the food we packed."

Olimar handed Rarity a bottle of juice.

"Here you go. This should last us for the day."

"Thank you. If you don't mind me asking, why do you wear that helmet?"

"That's because the atmosphere in the area is deadly, at least to me it is. Not only does my suit filter it out, it's also temperature controlled so I don't get heat exhaustion or freeze."

Rarity nodded in understanding. When she drank the juice, she figured it must be apple juice. Or something similar to it.

"This tastes like apple juice."

Olimar raised an eyebrow in confusion and interest.

"What's an apple?"

"Wait you haven't seen an apple before?! My friend Applejack works on an apple farm with her family. Their apples are very tasty! But to answer your question darling. Apples are big, red, round fruit. As I said, Applejack practically lives with the things."

"Actually, I think I've seen these 'apples' you're talking about."

Olimar booted up an image on his Kopad.

"Is this it?"

"AH! Yes! That's exactly what an apple looks like."

"My ship calls it an 'Insect Condo'. Because apparently these can contain parasites."

Rarity shrieked and didn't feel like drinking anymore.

"Umm, exactly how did you get the juice from this?"

Olimar sweat dropped.

"Don't worry, Rarity. My ship didn't find any traces of bugs living in the apple when it extracted it. It hates insects."

"I can relate."

"Well, now I think it's a good time to head out. We're practically wasting daylight."

As the 2 of them teleported out of the ship, Rarity had a question about the blue Pikmin.

"What's so special about the blue Pikmin?"

"They can go in water without drowning. We're almost here. The signal's getting stronger."

Suddenly they saw a strange file lying on the ground.

"What's that thing?"

"It's a data file. My Kopad can read it. Let's see what it says."

"This creature seems to be similar to the Plasm Waith we've encountered before. It'll occasionally dematerialize its body once it takes enough damage before rematerializing again. I wish I had brought Blue Pikmin along with me because it seems the weak point is its visible brain above its glowing eyes. I just hope someone can help rescue my team.
-Alph"

"So I was right to bring Blue Pikmin along. Rarity, how good are you at supervising?"

"I'm usually good at organizing rather than supervising."

"We'll just have to make due. You take one half of the Pikmin and I'll keep the rest. When I need more Pikmin, just toss them my way. I don't know how bad this could get."

Back with Twilight and crew. Meta Knight had just told them about a strange space-ship that he saw right ahead of their direction.

"Meta Knight told us that an odd-looking spaceship went in that direction."

"So what do you think we do?"

"I say we go and investigate. Whoever's flying that might know about my element."

With Dedede and Escargoon...

"Sire, what do you suppose we do about that pesky pony and Kirby?"

"I say we keep a close eye on them. If they're interested in that spaceship, then so are we!"

"But Sire, what if they see us?"

Dedede bonked his snail servant on the head with his hammer.

"You worry too much."

Escargoon rubbed his head.

"Was that really necessary?"

Dedede gave that question very little thought.

"No, but I haven't bonked you on the head since this whole thing started."

Back on PNF-404, Rarity and Olimar are preparing to fight the strange water monster known as Chaos 0.

"Remember the plan, Miss Rarity?"

"Of course."

"Then here goes nothing."

Chaos 0 turns from his liquid form, into a humanoid like creature with stretchy arms.

"Stretchy arms rule!"

Hey! You 2 aren't supposed to be here!

"Aw. Where did the Professor tell us to go Sonic? Holoska wasn't it?"

WHOA WHOA WAIT! How are you in Unleashed's story line if Sonic is in this Story too?!?

"That hasn't happened yet. I am the Sonic that went back to the past at the end of the adventure where I met my future-self. In other words, this is the past, and I have yet to experience your story line."

Oh I see. I suppose that makes sense. Well, you 2 have fun now.

"Haha! We will! Travelling the world is fun! Want some chocolate?"

Sure why not?

Back with the actual story.

"What is that thing?"

"It must be the creature in the data file."

"I think I see your friends trapped inside that thing. I hope they're alright."

"Let's focus on its weak point."

As Olimar threw Pikmin towards Chaos 0, it didn't take long for him to go back into his pure Liquid form in the ground.

"We won? We won!"

"Hmm..."

Rarity was confused.

"What's wrong?"

"That was almost too easy. Something's not right."

Back with Twilight and crew. They have found themselves at the Garden of Hope.

"Look at this place. It's so beautiful."

Kirby stared at the environment in amazement.

"Poyo."

"Is it me or does everything here seem bigger?"

Spike noticed hoofprints on the ground.

"Twilight, look. Hoofprints. And smaller ones too."

"Then one of my friends must have been here."

"Then let's follow the tracks."

"Right. C'mon, Kirby. Let's---Kirby?"

Kirby looked at a giant watermelon and started to drool.

"Suika!"

"Kirby, now's not the time for---woah! Guys, check this out. Kirby found a giant watermelon."

"Suika! Suika!"

"I wonder if there's more giant fruit around here."

Not wanting to waste time. Tiff reminded the group why they were here.

"We'll worry about that later. We got a mission to do, remember?"

"Tiff's right. We need to focus. I'm sure that watermelon will be there when we get back."

Kirby put on a sad face, reluctantly walking away from the massive fruit.

"Suika..."

""The hoofprints stop here. So one of my friends must be close by."

"I just hope whoever your friend is with is safe."

Rarity and Olimar are found exploring inside a cave after defeating Chaos 0. Olimar was still having doubts that this was all they had to deal with.

"Something seems off. If we defeated that creature, then where's Louie? And Alph and his team?"

"Don't worry about them. They're safe."

Olimar looked around everywhere to find the source of the voice.

"Where did that come from?"

Rarity motioned upwards.

"Up there!"

"Who are you?"

"I'm Pandora. Goddess of Calamity. Pleased to meet you. I see you've handled a situation like this pretty well. Let's make it a little more fun, shall we?"

With a snap of her fingers, Chaos 0 suddenly transformed into Perfect Chaos. Whom of which let out an intimidating roar.

"There. That should be challenging for you. Anyway, I must be off."

Pandora stared at Rarity.

"But first, I'll do something about this one."

Rarity screamed.

"Did you hear that?"

Spike gasped. That sounded just like Rarity!

"That sounds like...Rarity! She's in trouble, Twilight! We gotta save her!"

"Then we have no time to waste."

The crew made it inside the cave to witness the giant water monster.

"Sweet Celestia!"

Tiff was in shock.

"What is that thing?"

"Where's Rarity?"

"So you finally arrived, Twilight Sparkle."

"Who are you? And how do you know my name?"

"My master was very interested in your skills. So he sent me to lure you here. If you want to see your friends again, you'll surrender yourself."

"Don't listen to her, Twilight!"

"Then you leave me no choice. Have fun!"

Pandora left the crew, with Perfect Chaos roaring at all of them.

Finally back to making new chapters! Sorry for the delay once again. There's been somewhat of a break as of late. But we should be back on track from here on out!

Unrelated note: Well I'm back at college now after my week break, and apparently we have to do some sort of trip the second week back. I'm not entirely sure what it is we're doing. But apparently it's for 6 weeks, and according to the guy that came in, you HAVE to do it. I'm not sure what to make of this. Funny thing. The guy I sit next to wrote a whole list of reasons he didn't want to go! XD

In other news, I have a Rainbow Rocks review coming up sometime. I will post it as a blog when it is uploaded onto my YouTube channel so be on the look out for that sometime soon!

Chapter 10 - Open Your Heart It's Gonna Be Alright!

There was no time to waste! Rarity needed to be saved now!!

"We have to save Rarity!"

Tuff was clearly panicking by his tone of voice.

"But how do we stop that monster?"

"Can't Kirby try inhaling it?"

"It's worth a try. Kirby, suck it up!"

"Poyo!"

Kirby sucked up some of the water from Perfect Chaos, transforming into Water Kirby.

Tuff fist pumped the air.

"Alright! It's Water Kirby!"

Tiff pointed towards the water creature.

"Kirby, try attacking the monster!"

Kirby shoots waves of water bursts at Chaos with rapid succession. However it wasn't very effective, and Kirby was given a smack against the wall, losing his power.

"Kirby! Are you ok?"

Kirby rubbed his head.

"Poyo..."

"Now what do we do?"

Olimar then thought of something.

"I think I have an idea. That monster seems to have a weak point on the inside of its body. I can throw my Pikmin if I get close enough, and they can handle the rest."

Twilight was really unsure about this. Those creatures are so tiny...

"Are you sure it'll work?"

"It's a longshot, but it's our only option at the moment."

Olimar sends a bunch of his blue Pikmin to charge into Perfect Chaos and they proceed to attack it. Perfect Chaos then spits the Pikmin out while letting out a roar in pain

"It looks like it's working! Keep at it!"

Olimar gave Twi a salute.

"Roger!"

After many attacks, Olimar was starting to lose loads of Pikmin.

"I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. I'm starting to run out of Pikmin!"

"Well what can we do to help?"

Olimar handed his Kopad to Tiff.

"Use this and head toward my ship! There's a pod that looks like an Onion where all the Pikmin are. Be sure to get out as much Blue Pikmin as you can."

"Why Blue ones?"

"They can survive in water, now hurry! I can't hold this creature off much longer!"

Meanwhile with the King and his companion.

Escargoon had a pair of binoculars out, staring at the cave the others went into.

"So this is where those brats went."

"Well, let's start searching for 'em. There's gotta be something good around here."

Escargoon pointed towards a weird ladybug like looking creature.

"Sire, look!"

"What is it? It looks like some kinda giant ladybug."

"I don't know, Sire. What if it's dangerous?"

Dedede just rolled his eyes.

"Relax. What's the worse that can happen anyways? This thing's no bigger than Kirby is!"

Suddenly a bigger version of the creature appeared behind them. Escargoon slowly turned his head around.

"Uh, Sire?"

Escargoon poked the king to get his attention.

"What now?"

"I think we found its mommy."

The 2 stared at each other and Dedede shouted:

"RUN!!!"

"Sire, don't leave me with that thing!"

After running for so long, the 2 seemed to have lost the monster.

"I think we lost it, Sire."

Dedede saw somebody walking over.

"Quick, hide!"

Tiff then appeared, with her brother Tuff and Twilight right behind.

"According to this, that must be where the Pikmin are."

"But how do we get all the Pikmin out?"

"It says, just stand under the pod, and choose what Pikmin you want."

Tuff looked at all the different variations of Pikmin.

"Oh cool, there's a bunch of different coloured ones! There's red, yellow, pink, and...rocks?"

Tiff shook her head.

"Tuff, just take the blue ones!"

"Okay, okay!"

The blue Pikmin then began sliding out of the Onion.

"Now we have to hurry back, pronto!"

After the 3 left, Dedede came out of hiding.

"I just got an idea."

He then walked under the Onion.

"Let's see here. Give me all them carrot creatures!"

"Only 100 Pikmin can be on the field at once."

"What? I said give me all of them!"

"Only 100 Pikmin can be on the field at once."

Dedede started to get mad and pulled his hammer out.

"If you want something done right...you do it yourself!"

Escargoon jumped out and stopped his king from doing something rash.

"Sire, wait! We can't let anyone know we were here. Let's just follow them back and snag some ourselves."

"Good plan! Now let's get goin' before that giant ladybug catches us."

"Right behind you, Sire."

Back with Twilight, Tiff and Tuff who have just made it back to the cave.

"We're back!"

"Thank goodness. Now, my Pikmin. Charge!"

"WAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Perfect Chaos began roaring in pain.

"The monster seems to be getting weaker. A few more hits should do the trick."

Tiff then asked Twilight a question.

"Twilight, do you think maybe you can give him some help? Try using your magic and give the Pikmin a boost!"

"Good idea!"

Twilight casted a spell on the Pikmin which increases their power tremendously. Because of this, Perfect Chaos was taken down in mere seconds, and the spell wore off.

Pandora suddenly reappeared.

"Well. It seems that you actually defeated it."

"Give back Miss Rarity!"

Pandora sighed.

"Oh alright. I guess you did win fair and square."

She snapped her fingers, making Rarity appear. She fell to the ground with a boink!

"Oof! What happened? The last thing I remember is being snagged by a monster."

"Oh, and as an added bonus, I'll give you your friends back. But this isn't over. My master has big plans for all of you when you're all together. In the mean time, I'll be back."

Pandora dissapeared, with Twilight and Rarity really happy to see each other again.

"Rarity!"

"Twilight! I'm so glad to see you! And you too, Spike."

"Rarity! I don't know what I'd do if you were gone. I think I'd go crazy."

Rarity gave the dragon a noogee.

"It's alright Spike. But what did that person mean when she said "all together"?"

Twilight stroked her chin in thought.

"I don't know, but I think our friends are somewhere out there. We have to find them soon."

Meanwhile, Pandora entered a dark and eery looking room.

"Back so soon, Pandora?"

"Yes. I'm sorry I failed."

The figure shook his head.

"Never mind that. I have some important matters to attend to. As long as those ponies are alive, they are the key to my plan. And as long as I have their princess, they'll have no choice but to give in to my demands."

The being then called to the Princess in the room she is being held in.

"Did you hear that, Princess? Your faithful student seems to have reunited with one of her precious friends."

"Just what are you planning to do?"

"Just you wait, Princess. Just you wait. Ciao!"

Celestia breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good. He's gone. I have a bit of magic, so I better make this count.
If anypony can hear this message, please save me. You're my only hope. I don't know where I am, but I know for certain it's not good. If somepony, anypony reaches this message, please find Twilight Sparkle. She'll help along the way."

Back with Twilight and co, Twi gasped, beginning to faintly hear a message.

"What is it, Twilight?"

Twilight held her head.

"I don't know. I felt something. It sounded like it was Princess Celestia's voice. I hope she's okay."

Meanwhile, in a small town named Onett, a young boy suddenly woke up. He thought he heard a woman's voice calling for help. He immediately knew something had to be done. So he changed out of his pyjamas, grabbed his backpack, got his trusty bat, and put on his baseball cap. He then told his mother and younger sister the situation.

"Okay, honey. I understand. You have to save the world again, right? I guess a hero's job is never done. Don't forget to call every chance you get. And say hi to Paula for me. I'm sure she'd like to know how you're doing. Just be back safe. I'll even make steak for you when you come back from your adventure. I know, I worry too much. It's what moms do. Don't forget, honey, you're a brave young man and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise."

"Be sure to come back safe, big bro."

Tracy hugged her big brother.

"Good luck, honey! Be safe."

Ness nodded.

"Okay!"

Woo! A lot of things are happening in the story now! How have you guys been enjoying it? Both me and Xavier love hearing from you guys, so feel free to let us know. But now we have EarthBound and Ness in the picture! Things are sure gonna get exciting from here! No doubt Mother 3 fans will want Lucas. He will show up at some point, but like Master, Crazy Hand and Tabuu, those ideas are still in the planning process.

And yes, Mega-Man will appear at some point, but again we need to plan that out first.

Chapter 11 - Beware of the Diamond Dogs

Back with Pit and crew, they are walking along the Island in search of a Chaos Emerald. Rainbow was telling the other guys about Tirek.

"This Tirek guy sounds like he means business."

"Well from what you said about Hades, it sounds like he and Discord have a lot in common."

Palutena raised an eyebrow.

"But didn't you say Discord's been reformed?"

Fluttershy smiled softly, almost in a motherly tone.

"That's right."

"But if he still was his old self, could you imagine what would happen if those two worked together?"

Palutena didn't seem worried about this. After all, Hades has been defeated for good! Right?!

"Well I don't think we have to worry about Hades for a while since he's been defeated."

Dark Pit smirked.

"Just wait until the next sequel. Or maybe a few chapters."

Pit suddenly felt alarmed.

"Hey! You don't mean that, do you?"

Palutena chuckled.

"I'm sure Pitoo was just joking around, Pit."

Dark Pit pouted.

"I really wish you'd stop calling me that..."

Suddenly, Yoshi started to sense something.

"Hmm?"

Pit walked up to the green dinosaur.

"What is it, Yoshi?"

Yoshi started to sniff the air.

Dash was confused.

"Uh, what's he doing?"

"I think he caught a scent of something."

"So he's part dog too?"

Palutena explained to the others that Yoshi can catch a scent of, practically anything.

"Yoshi's nose can catch a whiff of anything. Even fruit."

"Yoshi Yoshi!"

Yoshi then ran off into the distance.

"I think we should follow him."

"Then let's get moving! No time to waste!"

Sonic zoomed off with the amount of speed he still had. However, Dash was able to stop him before he got out of reach.

"Woah, there! Slow down. Don't you think we should let Yoshi lead the way?"

Sonic sweatdropped.

"Right, heh heh. Sorry. Lead the way!"

They found Yoshi who had stopped right in front of a cave. Well it looks like they made it!

"Whu-whu!"

"It looks like this is the place."

Fluttershy stared at the cave in front of them with frightened eyes.

"I-in there?"

RD rolled her eyes at her pegasus friend.

"Relax, Fluttershy. It's just a cave."

Pit contacted Viridi.

"Viridi, what can you tell us about this place?"

"Hold on, let me go through the archives. Here it is. This is the Bandit Cave. Bandits are like Shy Guys except, well they steal things. So I'd watch my back if I were you. These guys gave Yoshis a lot of trouble when they were escorting Mario as a baby."

Flutters meeped.

"You mean this cave is full of thieves?"

"Pretty much. But don't worry. As long as you don't have anything valuable, they won't hurt you."

Shadow, whom has stayed quiet for a while, decided to just get a move on.

"I'd like to get moving if I were us right now! I'm sensing a Chaos Emerald in the area."

"Maybe the Bandits found it."

"If that's the case, then odds are if what Viridi said about those Diamond Dogs is true, the Bandits might be working for them."

Dash started thinking about this logically.

"It would make sense. All those 3 ever care about are diamonds of all shapes and sizes."

"If we find them, we'll find the Chaos Emerald."

Fluttershy covered her face with her mane in panic.

"I really don't want to go in there, um, if you don't mind."

"Fluttershy, whatever's in there could help us find our friends."

"But it's full of thieves!"

Palutena comforted the poor Pegasus.

"Don't worry, Fluttershy. As long as we stick together, we'll be fine."

"Plus, Yoshi can just eat them. Not to mention me and Pitoo have our trusty weapons!"

"What he said."

Fluttershy reluctantly agreed to come along.

"Well...okay. I'll do it!"

Rainbow Dash hoof bumped her friend. (BROHOOF! XD)

"That's the spirit!"

"Alright, Shadow. Where should we go?"

Shadow folded his arms and pointed his finger forward.

"...straight ahead."

"Keep a very close eye on your surroundings. You never know when Bandits are going to---"

Suddenly, a bandit appeared out of nowhere, and grabbed Pit's bow.

"Hey! My bow! Get back here!"

"I got it!"

Sonic homing attacked the bandit, with the bow flying back towards Pit.

"Thanks, Sonic."

"Looks like that Bandit got away. If those Diamond Dogs didn't know we're here, odds are they will now."

Pit sighed.

"So much for that."

At the heart of the cave, 3 Diamond Dogs named Rover, Spot and Fido, have recently found a very shiny looking diamond, what is also known as a Chaos Emerald, which is unknown to them, and they have just been notified of the intruders.

"So those ponies are here?"

"What are they doing?"

Fido caressed the Emerald like a baby.

"They must want this shiny diamond we found."

Rover jumped into a fighting stance.

"But we won't let them get it!"

"We must make a plan to stop those ponies."

"There's something special about this diamond. If they want it, then we can't let them take it!"

Rover ordered the group of bandits.

"Keep digging for more diamonds, Bandits! We must have all of them!"

Back with our heroes, they have started feeling very close to their destination.

"We're getting close. I can feel it."

Dash just realised something.

"Haven't you noticed that we haven't been ambushed by Bandits since that one attacked us? I think this is a trap."

"Then we have to keep our eyes open."

Suddenly a hand pulled a rope that shut the gang inside of a cage. The creature jumped out, revealing himself as being Fido.

"We finally got you ponies!"

Fido scratched his head at the unknown creatures.

"...And, um, who are you exactly?"

Spot put his finger to his chin in thought

"I think two of them are hedgehogs, but I don't know about those monkeys."

Dark Pit was outraged.

"I'm sorry, what?!"

"Calm down, Pitoo."

"Um, what my friends here are, um, trying to say is that glowing diamond you have is theirs. So if you would just let us out of this cage so we can have it back and be on our way, that would be nice. I-if that's okay with you, I mean..."

Rover went wide eyed.

"NO! This diamond is ours! We found it!"

"It has a strange feel to it. It makes us want to find more!"

Fido started to grin like an idiot.

"So we found these masked guys and made them dig for more!"

Shadow shook his head.

"Then you've just been wasting your precious time and energy."

Fido crossed his arms and frowned.

"What do you mean, hedgehog?"

"That 'glowing diamond' is called a Chaos Emerald and there's only 7 in existence."

"You lie! You're just saying that so you can keep all the other glowing diamonds!"

"Trust me, this guy knows his Chaos Emeralds. He's telling the truth."

RD put her front hooves up in a fighting stance.

"You better let us out of here or else!"

"Or else what, pony?"

"Or else you'll be in for a world of hurt!"

Spot laughed.

"You can't hurt us! We're out here, and you're in there!"

"But your mooks forgot to steal our weapons!"

Pit aimed his arrow at the cage door, releasing the lock. The group made their way out of the cage.

"Nice shot, Pit!"

"Thanks, Lady Palutena!"

"Now give us back the Chaos Emerald or we'll make sure you don't recover from what's gonna happen!"

"NO..."

"...We'll never give you..."

"...Our precious!"

Suddenly the Chaos Emerald started glowing.

Rover looked frightened.

"What's happening to us?"

Palutena looked in horror.

"Oh no."

Sonic had his eyes agape and his mouth wide open.

"This can't be good..."

Unrelated note: It's been my birthday this Wednesday. =) (Harry's birthday just so no confusion is had) And I've gotten Hyrule Warriors and I should be getting Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric in the mail tomorrow. I've heard a lot of people don't like it, but to be honest, I enjoyed the demo I played and I think it looks fun so meh, whatever. I am really enjoying Hyrule Warriors though. There's so much to keep in mind and you have to constantly be on the move. It's just endless fun IMO. The hectic nature of it makes it so enjoyable for me.

But that's all your getting tonight with this. I'm tired so I'm heading off to bed. Haha. Night ya'll.

Chapter 12 - The Astronaut Reunion

Back with Olimar's team, the 3 space travellers appeared, right after the remains of Chaos vanished. They groggily sat up holding their heads.

"Looks like they're finally waking up."

Charlie slowly came back to reality.

"What happened?"

Brittany frowned.

"My head hurts."

Alph put a finger to his chin in thought.

"The last thing I remember is that water creature attacked us, then our suit's fail safe systems kicked in and everything went dark. Captain Olimar! It's nice to see you again!"

"Likewise. I never thought we'd be crossing paths again."

The 2 shook hands. Rarity asked the trio a question.

"If you don't mind me asking, what were you three up to anyways?"

Charlie pumped his chest out hard in determination.

"I'll answer that question. There I was. Me and my crew were back on this planet searching for more food to make sure Kopai was still thriving. Suddenly I discovered a shiny white rock. As I was about to inform the rest of my crew, a water creature ambushed me. I tried to fight back, but it was too much for me. In my final breath, I told Brittany--"

Brittany rolled her eyes, and stopped Charlie from continuing his speech.

"Charlie, stop. What really happened was after he found that shiny rock, he ran away from that water creature."

Charlie just frowned.

"Luckily, I was able to analyse its properties. I guess sending that distress signal was a good idea after all."

Twilight walked up to the trio.

"You said something about a shiny white rock. May I see it?"

"Of course."

Alph grabbed the "shiny white rock" out of his backpack.

"Is this what you mean?"

Kirby flailed his arms up and down, with a happy smile on his face.

"Poyo!"

Tiff looked in Kirby's direction.

"What is it, Kirby?"

"We have one just like that. Except ours is purple."

"We were planning on seeing if it was of any value, but it's more trouble than it's worth."

Alph sweatdropped.

Twilight then entered thinking mode.

"I don't know why, but something about these glowing rocks are very important. It helped me out before and if that water creature wanted it, then it must be very important."

Charlie shrugged.

"Well if you want it, we'd be happy to give it up if it's that important."

Brittany jumped up in shock.

"Are you nuts, Charlie? That thing could be worth a lot of Kopos!"

Alph chuckled.

"Brittany, they saved our lives. It's the least we can do. We came here to find food, nothing else."

"Alph's right, Brittany. We wouldn't let greed consume us very easily."

Suddenly, Alph held his finger in the air, with a light bulb appearing over his head with a *ding* sound effect.

"I got an idea! What if we analyse this back at the Drake. Maybe we can find more if it can pick up the signal."

"That's a great idea!"

Olimar exclaimed in joy.

They all made their way back to the base, where the S.S Drake lied. The Pikmin carried the emerald into the Drake.

"I hope this works."

"Scanning objects. *ding* Alert! High energy signal spotted!"

Alph pulled out his Koppad from his backpack.

"According to this, more of these are scattered. And a few of them are on the move. 2 of them seem to be in an area called the Mushroom Kingdom, and one seems to be in a tropical area called Yoshi's Island. Both are in the same region, so that makes the search a lot easier for you."

Charlie allowed the others to come on board with them.

"How about we bring you over there. There's plenty of room in our ship for you guys."

Rarity shook her head.

"I appreciate the offer, but we've already done so much for you already."

"Please, I insist. After which, we can get back to our mission at hand."

They all made their way inside the S.S Drake.

"Speaking of which, I still don't know what happened to Louie."

Olimar began scratching his forehead. Brittany groaned.

"Oh, him? We found him trying to take our food supply again. He's in our ship safe and sound. I don't know how he can eat so much and still not be full."

Alph rolled his eyes.

"Speak for yourself, Brittany."

Brittany started to become defensive.

"He eats way more than I do. I don't think there's anyone else who can eat twice as much as he does."

"Poyo?"

"Hold on! Stop this chapter right now!"

Everyone just stood there dumbfounded.

"Pinkie, we're not supposed to find you yet. What are you doing?"

"Don't you realize that Brittany practically spoiled an important plot point? One of the writers hasn't beaten Pikmin 3 yet!"

Out of nowhere, a cane drags Pinkie away.

Twilight shook her head.

"I get the feeling that if we find those glowing rocks, we'll find our friends."

Tiff started to think.

"Where should we go first?"

"I like the idea of going to an island. I say we go there first."

Twilight rolled her eyes.

"We're not going there to relax, you know that, right?"

"Of course. I was just thinking with all that happened, we could all use a break."

"Then it's settled. We're off to Yoshi's Island."

After setting off in the Drake and landing on Yoshi's Island, Alph felt it was time to part ways.

"Well, here we are. I guess this is goodbye."

Rarity gasped.

"You mean you're not coming with us?"

Charlie frowned.

"We have an important mission at hand, and we have to focus on what's important."

Brittany was confused.

"But we're in an entirely new area. There's bound to be tons of fruit for us to bring back to Kopai."

"That's a good idea!"

Charlie rubbed the back of his helmet.

"I suppose Brittany does bring up a good point. While we're going our separate ways, we'll still be here. I'm sure we'll meet again someday."

Olimar was still in search for treasures. He agreed to stay here too.

"I suppose there could be new and mysterious treasures here. It wouldn't hurt to stick around."

"I've modified Captain Olimar's Kopad to act as a tracking device so you can find your friends. It should come in handy."

Twilight thanked Alph.

"Thank you, Alph. I'm sure it'll come in handy."

"Good luck finding your friends, everyone!"

The trio left to find fruit for their planet. The others nodded to each other, and went off to find their friends.

So we're back! This is more of a filler episode more than anything. Mainly used for build up to the next chapter. And yes, we will go back to Sonic and the others! And expect to be seeing Mega-Man soon! I won't be saying anything past that though. ;)

Chapter 13 - Facing Diamond Foes

Back in the cave the others were in, the 3 diamond dogs had transformed into a Cerberus.

"What happened to them, Lady Palutena?"

"It looks like the Chaos Emerald seems to have transformed the Diamond Dogs into a Cerberus."

Pit furrowed his brow.

"You mean like the Twinbellows I fought in the first level?"

Palutena smirked.

"Precisely."

Shadow explained the situation to the group.

"While the Chaos Emeralds are powerful, they reflect what's in your heart. Obviously these guys didn't want us taking the emerald and their lust for diamonds transformed them."

The now, Diamond Cerberus, yelled in lust and fury.

"WE MUST HAVE MORE!!!!"

Pit got his trusty two handed sword and bow out.

"We have to stop them before they cause some real trouble!"

Dark Pit stretched his muscles.

"Finally, some action!"

Fluttershy began to panic.

"Wait! Don't hurt them!"

Rainbow facehoofed.

"I'm pretty sure that's how we stop them before they cause serious damage. Besides, how else are we supposed to get that Chaos Emerald back?"

"Ask them nicely and hope they say yes?"

Fluttershy smiled awkwardly with a squee sound. (HAD TO!!)

Dark Pit became frustrated, and said in a sarcastic tone,

"Oh yeah, great idea. I'm sure it'll work."

RD groaned.

"Not helping, Pitoo!"

"Well I don't see any of you coming up with ideas!"

Pit put his hand to his chin, beginning to think of how to formulate a good plan.

"They're attracted to all things shiny, right? Why don't we lure them with something shiny to distract them?"

"Then we lay the beat down on them when they least expect it!"

RD liked the sound of that.

"Sounds like a plan!"

Palutena turned to the hedgehogs.

"Sonic, since you and Shadow are the fastest, you two create a diversion."

"I didn't agree to be used as bait!"

Pit tried to convince Shadow.

"Would you do it for a Chaos Emerald?"

Shadow folded his arms and looked away.

"I'm not doing this."

Pit pouted.

"Two Chaos Emeralds?"

Dark Pit felt it was time to end this silly moment.

"Knock it off, Pitstain!"

"WE SMELL MORE DIAMONDS! MUST HAVE MORE!"

The monster made its way out of the cave.

"We can't let them out! If they do, who knows what could happen?"

Fluttershy covered her mouth with both of her front hooves.

"All those poor Yoshis!"

Pit called to Viridi.

"Viridi, can you make a perimeter around the island?"

"Already on it!"

On the outskirts of the island, Olimar and crew were walking towards the island. They were hoping to find their friends there, as well as a chaos emerald. Olimar's Koppad however, seemed to be acting strange.

"That's strange..."

Twilight looked at Olimar in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"The Kopad says the object is getting closer and closer. Almost as if it's headed right for us!"

Suddenly they heard a mighty roar.

"What was that?"

Tiff looked around frantically, desperate to find what was responsible for that noise. Suddenly, out of nowhere the Diamond Cerberus jumped out at them.

"What in Celestia is THAT thing?!"

"It's a Cerberus. But, don't those heads look familiar?"

Rarity growled.

"I'd know those faces anywhere! It's those ruffian Diamond Dogs!"

"YOU HAVE PRECIOUS! GIVE US NOW!"

Spike looked very scared, and was just about ready to bail it out of there!

"Now would be a good time to run!"

Olimar alerted the group.

"Everyone, split up! It can't go after all of us!"

The Diamond Cerberus manages to corner the group before they can get the chance.

"How do we stop that thing?"

Suddenly, Dark Pit appears and drop kicks the Diamond Cerberus.

Pit ran over to Dark Pit.

"Pitoo, are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Ah!"

Pitoo grabbed his ankle in pain.

"You're hurt!"

"I told you, I'm fine!"

The others came up quickly behind them. Rainbow smirked.

"You can't always be so stubborn, y'know."

"THAT HURT! MONKEY WILL PAY!"

"I'm not out yet! Ah!"

Palutena put her hands to her hips.

"You need to rest. Your ankle needs to heal."

Sonic agreed.

"She makes a good point. You need to sit this one out."

"At least I got to land the first blow."

Sonic gave Pitoo a wink and a thumbs up.

"That's the spirit! Now leave the rest to us!"

"Since physical attacks seem to work, that's how we'll stop them."

Tiff asked Twilight about her magic.

"Twilight, does your magic work?"

"Only a little, but I'll give it all I've got!"

Suddenly a huge flash of light appears out of nowhere, and temporarily blinds the Diamond Cerberus. Tuff jumped up in joy.

"Nice shot, Twilight!"

"That wasn't me, Tuff."

Pit tried to look around for what it was.

"Where did that come from?"

"PK FLASH!"

"AHHHH! CAN'T SEE! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"PK THUNDER!"

"AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! SHOW YOURSELF! WE CAN'T LOSE PRECIOUS!!"

"PK STARSTOOOOORRRRRRRMMMMM!!!!!!!"

"NOOOOOOO!!!! OUR PRECIOUS!!! AAHHHHHH!!!"

The Diamond Cerberus fainted, with the emerald popping out of them. The Diamond Dogs reverted back to their former selfs. Shadow grabbed the emerald before anything else could get the chance to snag it.

"It looks like the battle is over."

"But who was that, Lady Palutena?"

Twilight was just as confused.

"I'm wondering the same thing."

"Excuse me? I'm looking for Twilight Sparkle."

"That would be me. But who are you?"

"I'm Ness."

Well we now have another Chaos Emerald! Wonder how many that makes now... Hmm. In any case, next time we are going to go back to Applejack and Pinkie. And there is going to be a big surprise that I know, one of our readers has been waiting for.. ;) Also, we are going to try and make the characters find some of the elements before getting any more Emeralds, just to help balance things out.

Chapter 14 - Underground Rock

Somewhere in the forest, a yellow star like creature was flying around, desperately trying to find the heroes of the Mushroom Kingdom. They last met when Antasma tried to take over Pi'illo Island. Something has been going on down in the Abandoned Underground Pipe Mazes, and she needs to find the brothers once again, and find out what's going on.

"I can't find them anywhere! They shouldn't be far from here. I wouldn't be surprised if Luigi is hiding in a bush somewhere. Mariooo! Where are you??!"

Peach gasped in surprise. The last time she heard that voice felt like forever.

"That voice. Is it who I think it is?"

The yellow star creature named Starlow, finally managed to find the group. She needed to tell them the news urgently, but quickly discovered there were unknown guests.

"I finally found you! I have urgent news and---who are all you guys?"

Pinkie Pie bounces up and explains to Starlow everything that has happened up to this point, and that they are all from different worlds.

Starlow tried to piece together all of what Pinkie said.

"So you're all from different worlds? And you have to find these Elements of Harmony because you think those are essential?"

Pinkie smiled in glee.

"Yep. That's just about it!"

Isabelle pulled out one of the Chaos Emeralds they have.

"We've also found these large glowing diamonds. I'm not sure what these are, but they've helped us out so far."

Peach wanted to know why Starlow needed to see them so urgently.

"So, Starlow, why did you come all the way here?"

"I went to see if I could find Mario because apparently there has been strange activities happening in the Abandoned Underground Pipe Mazes."

Peach rubbed her forehead in confusion.

"But the Pipe Mazes have been sealed off for years. I made sure the guards sealed off any traces of it."

Starlow frowned.

"That's what really bugs me. Someone, somehow found a way in."

Starlow flew next to Isabelle, wanting to have a closer look at the Emerald.

"Isabelle, may I see that glowing diamond?"

Pinkie bounced up to the 2.

"You can borrow mine if you want!"

Starlow closed her eyes in thought, trying to figure out what these gemstones could be.

"I'm calling it a hunch, but maybe these diamonds are somehow connected to what's happening underground. I could sense some weird energy readings that seem to match the ones of those diamonds. I think, if we find the source, we'll find whoever's causing all these earthquakes before matters get worse."

Applejack stepped forward with a determined look on her face.

"So ah say we go there and stop whoever's causin' all this!"

Mario & Luigi jumped in excitement, ready for another adventure.

"Let's-a go!"

The group made their way to the Underground Pipe Mazes.

"Here we are. Since the earthquakes are coming from here, my guess is to watch out for any falling debris."

"Apple Bloom, you and your friends stay outside. Ah don't want you getting into any trouble."

Apple Bloom frowned at her big sister, wanting to come along and help.

"But Applejack, we can help."

AJ frowned and hugged her sister.

"Sorry, but ah don't know what ah'd do if anything happened to you. Isabelle, you stay here and make sure these young fillies behave."

"But what if Mayor needs my help?"

Peach giggled before telling Isabelle that he'd be fine with them.

"Don't worry, Isabelle, he'll be fine with us."

Scootaloo was a little bit frustrated. The filly really wanted to join the others inside that place.

"How come he gets to go with you but we don't?"

Scootaloo frowned in dissapointment.

"You saw the way he handled that Koopa Kid. He can help."

The CMC grudgingly accepted. Isabelle asked Villager if this would be okay.

"Mayor, is it okay with you?"

Villager nodded, telling her yes.

"Okay!"

"Don't worry about us. We'll be back before you know it."

Applejack told the others so they had less of a reason to worry. Isabelle and the CMC wished them good luck.

"Be safe!"

The rest of the group are now inside the cave. As expected, it is incredibly dark down in here. Pinkie seemed to be the first to notice.

"It sure is dark in here."

Starlow saw glimpses of previously lit lanterns through the darkness.

"There used to be lanterns all over the place, but they seemed to have died out."

Luigi pulls out his flashlight. It's the same one he's used to help E. Gadd with his ghost problems. Peach's face lit up.

"Good thinking, Luigi! This is much better now."

Suddenly the ground started rumbling, making everyone wobble and almost lose their balance. Starlow flew over to where she felt that shaking came from.

"Looks like we're getting close. I can hear footsteps over there."

"Ah think ah see a door."

Starlow inspected the door with a frown. Something wasn't right. This wasn't here the last time she went to this place.

"That's strange. This was never here before, and there seems to be a logo on it. Does anyone know a "Dr. W"?"

Pinkie instantly jumped up and put her hoof into the air.

"Ooh! Ooh! I know!"

Applejack shook her head.

"Pinkie, we don't have time for your little guessing games. Let's just open the door."

The door suddenly opened by itself, surprising the group. A figure appeared, but the group couldn't make out who it was.

"Well well, it seems we have a visitor!"

Starlow, who had turned away from the door, instantly turned back to see who was present among them.

"Who said that?"

"I never thought I expected to see you here, Me---wait. You're not...It doesn't matter. What does matter is that you won't live to tell anyone about this! Guts Man, ATTACK!"

Out of nowhere, something came crashing down from the ceiling, making rocks fly everywhere. Thankfully, nobody was hurt. Pinkie saw the creature that caused the wreckage, and had no idea what it was.

"What is THAT thing?"

AJ gave it a quick thought.

"It looks like some kinda machine."

Guts Man jumps up, causing an earthquake. Then a boulder lands in his hand.

The ground started shaking once again, making everyone wobble once again. Peach, being the gentle soul that she is, wanted to make sure everyone was okay.

"Is everyone alright?"

Applejack got ready for an attack by the robot.

"Don't look now, but somethin' tells me that machine's gonna throw that boulder at us."

Peach ran to the door wanting to escape.

"Let's get out of here!"

The door slammed shut, leaving them stuck inside the cave.

"The door won't open! We're trapped!"

A bomb suddenly appeared next to the robot.

"Where'd that bomb come from?"

"Everyone, duck and cover!"

As soon as Starlow said this, everybody ducked under the fallen rocks to save themselves.

BOOM!! The mysterious figure, now perfectly viewable as some kind of scientist, was outraged! His robot had been completely destroyed. Though none of them knew who this person was.

"What? NO! Not my Guts Man copy! I don't know how you managed to find out his weakness, but you'll pay for this!"

The mysterious madman jumped into his ship, flying out of the cave and from the group.

Pinkie stood there with a confused look on her face.

"Who was that guy anyway? And who saved us?"

Suddenly a beam of light appears and a blue robot emerges from it.

"Another one down! I'm not sure how Dr. Wily managed to get here, but good thing I followed him."

The robot turned around and noticed the others.

"Who are you? Are you working for Dr. Wily?"

He put his arm cannon out, ready to fire. Starlow quickly told him that they weren't evil out of panic.

"Wait, don't shoot! We're friendly."

"Come to think of it, my sensors do say you're all organic."

Starlow flew towards the blue robot, feeling safe that he won't attack.

"That bomb that stopped that other robot, did you do that?"

"Of course. I didn't want to but I had no choice."

The robot spoke through an intercom on his arm.

"Dr. Light, I've defeated the Guts Man clone, but I seem to have found people here."

"Excellent work, Rock. Dr. Wily's on the move again so I suggest you follow him to his next location."

"Got it."

He then proceeded to turn off the intercom.

"Now then, I think we should get out of here."

Back at the entrance of the cave, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were telling Isabelle about some of the crazy things they've done, in order to get their cutie marks.

"...and that's when we all realized we should never force people to fall in love with each other."

"Wow, you three have been in quite a few situations, haven't you?"

The group, including Villager, walked out of the cave unscathed.

"Mayor, you're okay! What happened down there?"

Pinkie Pie, unsurprisingly, instantly jumped up and explained everything.

"First, we were underground, then there was this huge earthquake and it made us all shake up and stuff, then we found this weird old guy in a flying thingy that made the most droning sound ever, I mean how can anypony listen to that? It's so annoying. So then he says "You're not telling anypony what you saw" and sends out this yellow and black robot. It threw boulders at us and we were all "help! what do we do?", then suddenly a bomb appeared out of nowhere and the yellow and black robot just exploded. Then the old guy left and suddenly this blue robot appeared and it turns out he saved us and now here we are!"

Isabelle stood there surprised.

"Wow, that sounds like quite an event."

Starlow flew next to the robot.

"I almost forgot, thanks for saving us back there. We never got your name by the way."

"I'm Rock. I was just a cleaning robot created by Dr. Light. But I was converted into a fighting robot to save the world known as
Mega Man!"

It's been a while hasn't it guys? Sorry for the really long wait. You can thank college for getting in the way of things. Anywho, I know somebody's going to be happy to see their favourite blue bomber in this story now. XD We'll try to be more consistent with this from now on. Xavier has finished school/college, and I am on a week break. Hopefully we can get some chapters done.

Unrelated note: A few things I want to mention here. First off, it's Xavier's (SuperNintendoGameBoy's) birthday tomorrow! He's been great fun working with me on this fanfic. I hope you all can wish him a happy birthday! He's been a great friend!

Also has anybody pre-ordered Majora's Mask 3D? I ordered mine a couple weeks back. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. DX It's funny how it's Friday the 13th today too. Hmm. Maybe they knew about the date, and the people who are supposed to send the package, didn't send it today because of it. Probably not, but that would be hilarious. XD

Season 5 has also gotten a trailer now! Who's excited for the new season?! I know I am! This looks like it's going to be very interesting, and I can't wait to see where they take the show from here. The season seems to be centered more around adventure than any previous seasons. We'll have to wait and see what happens. What do you guys think?

Chapter 15 - Dystopian Threat

After all the introductions, Mega Man and co. made their way to Dr. Light's lab. Once they made it inside, they explained to the Doctor what has been going on, and why all of them have managed to appear here. Needless to say, he was really intrigued. Never before has he seen creatures from different worlds!

Dr. Light also explained to the group his past with Dr. Wily, and how they used to be friends. The one most surprised by this was Starlow.

"So all of you are from different worlds? That's truly fascinating!"

"I still can't believe you and Dr. Wily used to be friends."

The Doctor sighed, with many memories flooding back to him. He never wanted Wily to become the way he is, he really didn't.

"Those were simpler times. I didn't want to turn Rock into the robot he is at first, but he knew something had to be done."

Back at Dr. Wily's castle, Guts Man and Elec Man were ranting over why Wily always seemed to make copies of Guts Man.

"What's Wily's deal with making copies of me anyways? I mean, I know I'm the strongest Robot Master there is, but even then, it's still pretty odd."

Elec Man groaned in annoyance.

"I'm just glad he didn't copy that giant ego of yours."

Guts Man started getting agitated.

"What was that?!"

Elec Man put his hands up in defence.

"Nothing!"

We come back with the gang at Dr. Light's lab.

Even though Dr. Light was intrigued to see life forms from other worlds, he knew why that was the case. This caught the attention of the others, and they wanted to know how he knew what was going on.

"So, Dr. Light. How did you find out about all this?"

"Well, Albert was once again up to no good, so naturally Mega Man decided to stop his plans for world domination. Just as he defeated Wily, he was begging for forgiveness like he always does, when suddenly a ripple in the sky appeared. None of us knew what that was, but Albert used that as the opportunity to escape again. I told Mega Man to come back to my lab so I could give him a few tune ups. Suddenly, Albert took over the satellite stations and announced he had new plans for world domination. And not just this world, but others. That's when it hit me. That ripple must have opened up a portal to alternate worlds. So I acted quickly and had Mega Man follow Albert to the underground mines you were talking about, and you all know the rest from there."

Dr. Light let the group soak in the information, with everyone being silent. The CMC, Isabelle, Villager and Roll were playing around with each other. They weren't really sure what was going on, but it didn't mean they couldn't have fun right? Suddenly, Dr. Light's computer started making a beeping sound.

"Hold on. What's this? My computer's picking up a signal!"

Applejack took a look at the screen.

"What is it? Is it something of Wily's?"

Dr. Light tried to make sense of what he was looking at.

"It looks like a giant spaceship shaped like...a pig? And it's dropping some strange hybrid creatures. What are those things?"

Suddenly, all the airwaves change to a logo that resembles a pig nose.

"Attention, losers! It's come to my understanding that you've dealt with this lame-o Dr. Wily guy for quite some time. Well I'm here to let you know that you don't have to worry one teeny-tiny bit about him anymore. Oh no, what I have planned is much better than his stupid plan of world conquest. What I plan on doing is turning this world into a perfect little utopia under my rule! Anyone who doesn't agree to that will have to deal with my little pets! And in a world full of robots, I'm sure mine will be much tougher than yours! I've heard about your so-called hero, Mega Man. And I want to see exactly what he's made of. So if you're watching this, come to this location and show me what you're made of! And the grand prize is this shiny necklace that I came across. I don't know what it's worth, but I have a good feeling it's very valuable to someone you know. Don't keep me waiting! Spankety spankety spankety!"

"Wait a minute! That looks like one of the Elements! How'd he get his grubby little hands on it? Who was he anyway?"

Dr. Light scratched the back of his head in thought.

"I don't know who this man is, or why he's doing this. But he clearly knows about Mega Man and wants to test his skills out like it's some twisted little game of his."

Mega Man crossed his arms and frowned.

"I've got a bad feeling about this one. We don't know what he's planning, or what his real motives are."

Isabelle was more surprised by the fact, that this man wants to change the look of the city.

"Didn't he say he wanted to turn this city into a utopia of his? I thought this place looked really nice as it is. Why change all that?"

"I'll just have to ask him when I see him."

"Don't think you're going it alone, Rock."

The group could see a silhouette. It started to approach them. They weren't sure who it was, making Applejack go into a fighting stance.

"Who's there?"

"Don't worry. I'm on your side."

They could now see him clearly. Mega Man instantly recognised the red robot and his shield.

"Proto Man? Is that you?"

"I know you've dealt with Dr. Wily dozens of times by yourself, but you're gonna need back-up, and that's where I come in."

AJ began thinking that Proto Man may have more information about this pig like creature, and decided to ask if he did so.

"So what's the deal with this new guy anyway? What's his motive?"

"I'm not too sure about that. But I have an inside source who gave me a bit of information. He didn't reveal his identity, but for some reason, he was hiding in a garbage can. All he said is that the mystery man's robots can be dealt with using a technique called PSI. But I don't know what that is or where it comes from. I told him about how Rock saved Mega City several times, and if these new robots have exploitable weaknesses, then he'll have no trouble copying them."

Dr. Light wanted to know more about this PSI.

"What about the PSI he told you about?"

"He did say that a young boy with blonde hair and a striped shirt knows how to use it."

"So we just need to look for the child that matches that description."

Applejack was ready to find the kid now.

"Well what are we waitin' for? We gotta find this kid and fast!"

"Let's hope we find him soon, or Mega City's gonna be in some mega trouble!"

The group made their way outside of Dr. Light's lab, and went to search for this "young boy with blonde hair".

Back with the gang at Yoshi's Island, Twilight was extremely fascinated by Ness' powers. She felt a surge inside of her to ask him countless questions.

"I have so many questions. Just who are you? How do you know who I am? And what was all THAT?"

"I am sensing a strong energy coming from him."

Ness chuckled at the mare's excitement.

"I'm not what you'd call an ordinary kid. I have psychic abilities known as PSI."

Dash turned her head to the side in confusion.

"What is that exactly?"

Ness then began explaining to the others, what had happened, for him to end up here.

"Well, I heard a voice one night telling me to come find you and when I saw you were in danger, I rushed here as fast as I could and did all those things you all saw."

Twilight was intrigued. She had never seen such abilities before.

"But how did you learn it?"

Ness put his hand on his chin in thought.

"I'm not too sure exactly. I think my Great Great Grandpa studied it. At least that's what my dad told me."

"You said you heard a voice, right? I think I caught a glimpse of it earlier. It might have been Princess Celestia!"

"That explains it! She tried to contact anyone who could telepathically reach her."

Dark Pit rolled his eyes.

"Just what we need. Some kid comes in and saves the day. Woo-hoo!"

Dark Pit said in a sarcastic tone.

"He's not just "some kid", Pitoo. He possesses incredible powers and I think he could be of great help in this team. For a human, anyway."

Viridi exclaimed.

"I think I might know where the rest of your friends are, Twilight."

After hearing this, Twilight's face lit up.

"You do? Where?"

"I'm picking up some PSI energy from a place called Mega City. I think that's where the rest of your friends might be."

Dash did a loop in the air in excitement.

"Great! So how do we get there?"

"It's in another dimension. Or rather it was. Because of the rip in time and space, it seems to be in a far off place. But I can get us all there no problem using PSI Teleport."

"You mean like a teleportation spell?"

"In a way, yes. Everyone get close to me so we can all get there."

The party gathered around Ness as he prepared to use PSI Teleport. He got everyone to a wide open space where they could all run in a straight line until they reach enough speed to use it. Within the blink of an eye, the team left Yoshi's Island and suddenly found themselves in the futuristic metropolis known as Mega City.

"Well, here we are."

Rarity felt filthy, and didn't exactly appreciate that.

"Oh my goodness, we're all pitch black and covered in soot!"

Ness scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Heh. Yeah, that always happens. It's no big deal, just shake it off."

"Hey, Ness. Is there any chance you could teach me to do that? I'm already the fastest thing alive, but you never know, right?"

Ness gave it some thought.

"Maybe after our adventure's over, Sonic."

The team then made their way to find their friends in the city.

Yeah, sorry about the delay... Again. It didn't exactly help that FIMFiction was down for quite some time. That slowed progress quite a bit. Nevertheless, here's another chapter done and dusted. I'm not really sure when Chapter 16 will go up, but hopefully a lot sooner.

Unrelated note: Who's enjoying their Mewtwo's and Mii costumes? I have to say, I'm loving the improvements they gave to Mewtwo's moveset. It's so much easier to connect attacks, and he feels stronger to boot. There has also been confirmation of new DLC modes. That's sure to be interesting. What would you guys like to see? Personally, I'd like to see that Tower of Smash thing become a reality.

Chapter 16 - World Fusion

Back with Twilight and friends, they have managed to teleport successfully to Mega City. Or so they think...

Twilight looked around the city, seeing many futuristic buildings. Her mouth was agape. She had never seen things so advanced before!

"So this is Mega City. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Everything here is so advanced!"

Tuff chuckled.

"It’s like we’re in the future! Pretty cool, right Kirby?"

Kirby jumped in the air with a smile.

"Poyo!"

Nevertheless, they needed to get down to business. Palutena was thinking about what they could do.

"Well, now that we’re here, we should focus on the task at hand. Ness, you said you could pick up similar PSI readings here, right? Know anyone else who could use PSI?"

Ness scratched his head, thinking long and hard about the question.

"Hmm. Well Paula’s back home in Twoson helping her mom run the preschool, and Poo’s in Dalam doing special training. I don’t think there’s anyone else who—"

Not very far away in the distance, many civilians could be spotted screaming their lungs out, and running for their lives.

"What’s going on, Lady Palutena?"

Palutena attempted to look around, to see why the city was in such a ruck-us. However, she couldn't see anything.

"I don’t know, Pit. Let’s ask one of these people."

Palutena walked up to one of the Civilian's as calmly as possible, but as soon as she was about to open her mouth to speak, the Civilian ran back and fourth in a panic and yelled:

"RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! IT’S A GHOST ATTACK!"

Rarity gasped with a hoof over her mouth.

"Ghosts? You mean this city is haunted?"

Meanwhile in an underground lab under city hall, a message from the president appears.

"The city is under siege by another ghost attack! We need—"

"Say no more, Mr. President. I’ll contact them right away. They should have this cleared before lunch!"

Back with Team Twilight, the ghosts have over run the city and the civilians have found shelter.

Pit was awestruck by what he was seeing. Ghosts, after ghosts, after ghosts were seen flying over them, and attempting to take over the city.

"I’ve never seen this many ghosts before!"

Tiff was starting to panic a bit.

"What do we do?!"

Tuff snapped his fingers, believing his plan would work.

"I know! Kirby, try sucking up one of them!"

"Poyo!" (inhales one of the ghosts but spits out slime and a pair of eyeballs which then float away)

Kirby managed to inhale one of them, but in doing so caused him to spit out slime, and a pair of eyeballs. The set of eyes then floated away. Kirby made a disgusted expression with his tongue.

"Kirby, are you ok?"

Kirby shook his head towards Twilight, with a frown on his face.

"Well I guess eating them is an option, but I don’t think Kirby will like that idea at all. So we need another option. Pit, you, Dark Pit, Sonic and Shadow try to hold the army off as much as you can."

Pit fist pumped the air in excitement.

"You got it, Lady Palutena!"

Dark Pit folded his arms and looked away.

"Let’s just get this over with so we can get back to the mission!"

Pit put his hand on his chin in thought.

"Since when do you care so much about the mission? I thought you only cared about yourself."

Dark Pit was getting visibly irritated, and started clenching his fists.

"Shut it, Pit-stain, let’s just go already!"

Sonic looked towards Shadow's direction.

"Shadow, try using your chaos spears on the ghosts!"

"Already on it!"

Shadow swung his arm in a horizontal motion, sending out multiple projectiles towards the ghosts.

"Chaos Spear!"

However it was to no avail. The shots went right through the ghosts.

"Maybe a little homing attack’ll send these ghosts packing!"

Sonic attempts to use his homing attack on several ghosts, but he ends up going through them and getting covered in slime instead.

"Ugh!"

"Ness, can’t you use your PSI on them?"

Ness shaked his head at Twilight.

"Probably not. If Shadow’s attacks didn't work, then I doubt mine’ll work on them. We’re really running out of options and we’re out numbered. We need a miracle and fast!"

In the distance, one of the ghosts was announcing victory towards their leader.

"Boss, we’ve secured the city!"

"Excellent! This is going all according to plan!"

The ghosts began seeing a yellow figure in the background. Knowing exactly what they were going up against, many of them flew away in fear.

Their boss was more than displeased...

"WHAT?! Where are you going?! Get back here and terrorize the city!"

One of the ghosts flew up to him, shaking violently.

"It’s him, boss!"

"You don’t mean…?"

The ghost was unable to respond. He was eaten.

"It’s the Pac-Man!"

"Tell Betrayus I said “Hi!”"

Pac-Man eats a Titanium Berry, which causes him to transform into Titanium Pac.

Twilight noticed the giant yellow figure in the distance, defending the city from this ghost attack.

"Looks like help’s arrived!"

Back with Pac-Man, he looked towards his friends, ready to devise a plan.

"Spiral, Cyli, you take down these ghosts over there, I’ll handle the ones over here!"

Spiral saluted like a soldier.

"You got it, Pac!"

"Let’s do this!"

Team Pac then proceeds to do what they do best. Spiral and Cyli use their plasma sucking canons to trap the ghosts, while Pac-Man eats as many ghosts as he can and spits out the eyeballs.

After another job well done, Pac-Man burped and rubbed his stomach.

"We did it, guys! Hi-fives all around!"

The three of them threw their hands together in a hi-five.

"Yeah!"

Rainbow flew over to the group, amazed at what she just witnessed.

"That was amazing! The way you handled those ghosts was super cool! How’d you do that?"

Pac-Man rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things.

"Are you guys seeing this?"

Spiral rubbed his forehead with a confused expression.

"A flying blue pony? Yeah."

Cyli squealed in delight.

"She’s so adorable! Hi there! What’s your name?"

"I’m—"

Twilight and the rest of the gang, ran over to Rainbow.

"Rainbow Dash! What are you doing?"

Dash laughed and flew around the 3 that just saved the city.

"I’m talking to the guys who totally saved us, duh!"

Twilight smiled awkwardly towards the trio, with a sweat drop.

"Excuse her, she can be a bit impulsive."

Spiral looked at Twilight with a amazed expression on his face.

"Whoa, check it out! Another one!"

"How many of you are there?"

Twilight giggled.

"A lot, actually. We’re actually looking for something."

Pac-Man was then receiving a call from the Professor.

"Pac, mah boi, what’s going on out there?"

"We took care of Betrayus’ army but now there are these weird-looking people here."

"Well are they friendly?"

Pac-Man looked at the people in front of him. Sonic smirked and gave a thumbs up. Palutena, Pit, Ness, Rarity, Fluttershy and Twilight smiled and waved. Rainbow was hovering in the air with a massive grin on her face. Shadow and Dark Pit simply crossed their arms. Kirby said "Poyo!" In happiness, with Tiff and Tuff chuckling. Pac-Man smiled.

"It seems that way. Should we bring them back with us?"

"Hmm, I don’t see why not."

The group then made their way to the underground lab where Professor Sir Cumference is. They began explaining the whole situation to him.

"So let me get this straight. You’re all from different worlds, eh?"

"That’s right."

Twilight exclaimed.

"And you say you’re looking for these “Elements of Harmony”, right?"

Twilight nodded.

"That’s about it."

Tiff wanted to know how Pac-Man was able to eat the ghosts in the first place.

"So how come Pac was the only one who could eat the ghosts while Spiral and Cyli couldn’t?"

"Because Pac is special. Unlike any other Pacs in Pac-World, only yellow Pacs have the power to eat ghosts."

Realising his mistake, Ness looked at Sir Cumference in shock.

"Did you say “Pac-World”? I thought this was Mega City!"

The professor scratched the back of his head in confusion.

"Um, where’s Mega City?"

"It exists in another dimension."

Palutena explained.

"I thought I could take you guys there. Looks like we ended up in the wrong place."

Ness looked down to the ground with a frown. He felt he let the entire team down. Pac-Man put his hand on his shoulder, in hopes of lightening his spirits.

"Don’t feel too bad, Ness. We’ll help you guys out in any way we can, right guys?"

Spiral and Cyli both gave Pac a thumbs up.

"You bet, Pac!"

"You can count on us!"

"So do you guys always have ghosts attacking your city?"

Twilight couldn't imagine what such a thing would be like in Ponyville. It started to remind her of the parasprite incident. She shuddered at the memory.

"Yeah, like every day or so. But we’re always one step ahead because we have some friends working on the inside."

Pac-Man's ghost friends made their way inside. Twilight and the others were in shock that some ghosts were still around. They put up a fighting stance. However, the ghosts were unaware of the new visitors.

"Yo, Pac-Man. We got urgent news!"

A red ghost declared.

"Betrayus is planning on launching another ghost attack pretty soon and he’s not happy this time!"

The blue ghost shook his head in disgust.

The pink ghost then noticed the others, noticing that she had never seen them before.

"Wait a minute, who are these guys?"

Pac-Man put his hands towards both groups, in order to stop some sort of fight.

"Relax, guys, these are my new friends. Everyone, this is Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde."

The giant orange ghost flew over towards the group.

"It’s very nice to meet you all."

"As long as you girls stay away from my Packums, we won’t have a problem!"

Pinky closed her eyes and frowned.

"Don’t worry about it."

Rainbow smirked slightly.

Pinky rubbed her forehead in relief.

"Well that puts me at ease."

Twilight noticed the weird resemblance of the name of the pink ghost, being a lot like her own friend's name, Pinkie Pie.

"We have a friend named Pinkie too, we’re trying to find her and another friend Applejack."

Pit was starting to hear the same voice from Pinky and Rainbow Dash, and started scratching his head.

"Um, is it me or do Rainbow Dash and Pinky sound very similar?"

"Don’t be silly, Pit!"

Pinky shook her head.

"Yeah! As if I really sound like that!"

Rainbow started getting defensive.

"What’s that supposed to mean?"

"Don’t worry about it."

Inky rolled his eyes.

"Anyway, we should probably get back to the Netherworld before Lord B. wonders where we are."

Blinky nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, but knowing him, he’ll probably take his rage out on Butt-ler, like he usually does. We’ll be back soon."

"Don’t miss me too much, my sweet Packums!"

The groups both waved good-bye to each other.

In the Netherworld, Betrayus is ranting about his most recent failure, with his attack on Pacopolis.

"Curse that yellow Pac-Brat! He foiled my plans for far too long! Why is it that every time we launch an attack he seems to get the better of us?!"

Dr. Buttocks noticed something interesting on one of the slug-cams.

"Hey, Lord Betrayus! Look at this! One of our slug-cams picked up images of a group of weird-looking creatures!"

Betrayus shoved him away, to get a clear view of this himself.

"What?! Where did they come from?"

"I don’t know, sir! But they seem to be friends with the Pac-Man."

Betrayus started to become enraged with fury. You could almost see fire in his eyes.

"Anyone who’s friends with that ghost munching menace is an enemy of ours! I just wish we knew more about what they are and what they’re doing here!"

"Hehehehehe! I guess that’s my cue!"

"Who said that?!"

Betrayus started looking around the room frantically.

Suddenly Betrayus’ TV screen changes, and shows a faint, shadowy image of the main villain.

"What happened to my TV set? I don’t remember ordering this channel in my cable subscription!"

Betrayus put his hands on his head in panic.

"Oh, I’m not a TV channel. I’m someone who can help you with your little problem, Lord Betrayus."

"How did you know my name?!"

"Oh I know a lot about you, Lord Betrayus. You see, these new threats you speak of actually come from another dimension and are looking for these items"

The figure proceeds to show him a hologram of the chaos emeralds and the elements of harmony.

"It seems to be the key to them restoring their worlds and getting everything back to normal. But if we used their power, we could take over this world and other worlds along with it!"

Betrayus rubbed his hands together with an evil smile.

"Ooooh, I like the sound of that! A world under my rule without the Pac-Man to stop me! It sounds too good to be true! Hold on, what’s your motive in this?"

The figure chuckled.

"Oh, don’t worry about what I want. My goals are…much more important. But don’t worry about that. I know someone who may also want to take over the world. He’s currently invading a location in another world called Mega City. Seems he wants to round up all the robots, and turn them into his own little play things. I saw the things he did in his short time in a place called Tazmilly. But dimension-hopping didn’t work in his favour. So I decided to give him youth in exchange for serving me. Plus, he gets to do whatever he wants."

"What’s this guy’s name?"

"King Porky Minch. Anyways, I think it’s time we get down to business. If you can get these elements, not only will I assure you and your ghosts get your bodies back, and the Tree of Life, but I’ll guarantee the defeat of Pac-Man and his little friends once and for all! Do we have a deal?"

Betrayus was on board, and accepted the offer with no hesitation.

"I accept your offer!"

The figure clasped his hands together in delight.

"Splendid! Now to set this plan in motion. Ciao!"

The TV then returned to what the slug-cams were showing.

Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde saw the whole thing from a distance, hoping not to be spotted.

"Did you guys just see that?"

Pinky was frowning, and in a panicky state.

"We have to warn, Packums!"

"I fear we’re about to face a threat we’ve never faced in our entire afterlife!"

Clyde declared.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let’s go warn Pac!"

Inky declared to the group. The other 3 nodded, and they started floating out of the Netherworld. Betrayus noticed this, and confronted the group.

"And just where do you four think you’re going?!"

Blinky rubbed his hands, and tried to come up with some sort of excuse.

"Uh, we were just about to go and, uh…"

"Feed Fluffy!"

Clyde stated.

"What he said!"

"Yeah!"

Inky and Pinky both agreed.

"Hmm. Ok then. While you’re at it, you can give him a bath too! This may be the Netherworld, but even Fluffy needs proper hygiene!"

Inky saluted.

"You got it, Lord Betrayus!"

The gang made it out of the Netherworld, and all of them rubbed their foreheads in relief. They barely made it out of that one.

"That was too close."

"Good thinking, Clyde. Now let’s get out of here before something else happens!"

Suddenly an earthquake comes out of nowhere, effecting both Pacopolis and Mega City.

Back with Pac-Man and the others, they were feeling the ground shake beneath their feet.

"What’s happening?"

Spiral fell over on his back, due to the shaking.

"I think it’s some kind of earthquake!"

The ghost gang then proceeded to burst back in the Professor's lab.

"Guys! We’ve got big news, and you’re not gonna like it one bit!"

Blinky stated. As soon as he said that though, President Spheros was then shown on the TV screen.

"Pac-Man! This is an emergency! Something terrible is happening to Pac-World as we speak! I think you and your friends should look outside and see for yourselves!"

The group looked outside, and were in shock at what they were witnissing. Pacopolis, and another world in the distance, whom the group figured was Mega City, were both colliding together.

"What’s gonna happen now, Lady Palutena?"

"I don’t know, Pit. But it looks like we’re about to find out!"

Back on Mega City, with Mega Man and crew, they were witnessing the very same earthquake.

"What’s going on?"

Dr. Light wasn't sure why an earthquake was happening himself.

"I don’t recall seeing anything on earthquakes."

"I don’t think this is a normal earthquake. It’s something else. We’re just caught in the middle of it."

Roll ran back into the lab.

"Guys, I think you might wanna see this!"

The group goes outside, and finds that the world they are in, Mega City, and another world, Pacopolis, were now merging together. All they could do was stare in shock. What was going to happen now???

Woo! Making progress with this story. This one took quite a lot out of me, as it is easily the longest chapter we have written so far. Anywho, things are starting to get interesting now! Pacopolis and Mega City have both collided now. What's going to end up happening?!

Also, it would be nice to hear you guys' feedback on what you think of the portrayal for the Pac-Man characters. We are doing our best to make sure they feel in character, so any sort of feedback on that would be appreciated.

Also, I decided to upload this chapter early, since you guys have been waiting far too long for this. ^_^'

Unrelated note: Have any of you been playing Splatoon lately? The recent update is really cool! It's a lot easier to play with friends now. However, I kinda wish you could make lobbies for turf war matches, and not just ranked battles. Oh well, maybe in a future update? It's a little annoying when I'm in a tri squad, and we go up against 4 people though. =/

Chapter 17 - Search Party

Twilight and crew are seen staring wide-eyed at the now merged Mega City and Pacopolis. Twilight and the others wanted some answers to how this happened.

"What happened to Pacopolis?"

Twilight said, still trying to get over the shock of 2 worlds merging. Pit put his finger under his chin in thought.

"It’s almost exactly like what happened in the first chapter."

Everyone except Pit, Dark Pit, and Palutena looked at Pit with a weird expression. Palutena ignored the reactions, and attempted to explain their current situation.

"Except it seems the dimensional rifts are getting stronger and stronger now. More bits and pieces of worlds are coming together and I don’t think it’s going to stop any time soon."

Over on Mega City, Dr. Light could be found frantically running back and fourth in his lab in panic, unsure of what to do.

"This is bad. Really bad!"

Roll however, noticed that they weren't the only ones aware of the situation.

"You guys, look at the TV! This is all over the news!"

Roll pointed her finger towards the TV and everyone began to watch. They could see from some cameras that citizens of Mega City were running about in panic. Shortly after, a news reporter came on.

"An earthquake of unknown origin has just caused an uproar in Mega City and objects seem to be appearing out of thin air. In the midst of the chaos, there appears to be a group of small multi-coloured horses, a young child in a striped shirt wearing a red cap and a backpack, and some other creatures which we’ve yet to identify. More on this story as it develops."

They showed a group of these "creatures" that seemed to be running towards something, as if they were trying to find something.

Applejack nearly jumped up in excitement after seeing what looked like her and Pinkie's friends.

"Wait a minute. Did y’all see that? That looked like Twilight and the others!"

"You mean they’re here? But who are those guys with them?"

Pinkie was more than thrilled to see her friends again, however most of the guys with Twilight weren't familiar to her, AJ, or the CMC.

"Maybe they’re all from different worlds like you guys."

Mega Man stated since that was a common thing going on as of late. Dr. Light seemed to agree with him.

"That would make the most sense."

Proto Man stood leaned up against a wall with his arms crossed.

"So what do we do now?"

"I suggest everyone split up into groups and see if they can find Twilight and the others."

Peach clasped her hands together in delight to Dr. Light's plans.

"That’s a great idea! Mario, Luigi, and Starlow. You’re with me. Isabelle, you go with Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo and Villager."

Mega Man stood beside Proto Man and put his hand on his shoulder as a friendly gesture.

"I’ll go with Proto Man. Roll, you’re with Pinkie Pie."

"Then it’s settled. You’ll all scout a different part of the city. I’m giving you these intercoms so you can communicate with me in case any of you see something odd. Good luck to all of you, and be safe!"

Back over on Pacopolis, a news report is also going on, with Twilight and the others watching from a giant TV found on a building. You could see a blue round shaped character giving the report.

"Just as Pac-Man saved our city from yet another ghost attack, a mysterious earthquake caused terror in Pacopolis as unknown objects started appearing out of thin air. We don’t know what the cause of this is, but—wait a second, there seems to be a glimpse of what looks like small horses and—"

Twilight ignored anything else said after seeing images of what looked to be her missing friends.

"*gasp* Is that…Applejack, and Pinkie Pie?"

Rainbow Dash flew up to the screen to get a closer look. The figures found on it definitely resembled that of Applejack and Pinkie Pie. They have finally found out where they are!

"It is! We found them!"

"So those are the rest of your friends?"

Twilight nodded at Pac-Man with a bright smile. She couldn't wait to reunite with them.

"That’s right."

"It must be fate that brought your friends in this location. I suggest we start searching. But we need to split up into groups to cover more ground. Viridi, can you give Dark Pit the Power of Flight?"

Viridi winked and thumbed up at the Goddess of Light.

"You know it!"

Cyli and Spiral grabbed their hover boards out of their pockets so they could assist in the search from a higher altitude.

"Spiral and I will use our hover boards to soar the skies too."

The friendly group of ghosts flew over, wanting to help them as well.

"We’ll help too!"

Blinky exclaimed.

"Any friend of Packums is a friend of ours! We’ll help in any way we can."

Pinky winked at Pac-Man, to which he simply scratched the back of his head in response.

Ness however, started to sense something. Perhaps another being that had mastered PSI techniques like he has!

"!!"

"Ness, what’s wrong?"

Twilight looked over at the young boy.

"I think I’m picking up a PSI reading."

"Can you tell where it’s coming from?"

Ness focused his energy into finding a location of the reading. It ended up leading him towards the hedge maze.

"I think so. It seems to be coming from that hedge maze."

Pac ran over to Ness. Mazes were his speciality after all.

"I’ll help you look there. Mazes are kinda my thing."

"Thanks."

Sir Cumference smiled at the group.

"So it’s settled. Everyone will scout a different part of Pacopolis to cover more ground and find Twilight’s friends."

"Pit, if anything happens, just contact me."

Pit did a salute sign towards Palutena.

"Yes, Lady Palutena!"

They all went their seperate ways in search for their friends. Pac-Man was the one leading the pack towards the hedge maze, as he was the one most familiar with it.

"Well, here we are. The Hedge Maze. I know my way around it, so stay behind me and we won’t get lost."

Pac turns his intercom on to talk to Spiral.

"Spiral, how are you and Cyli doing?"

Spiral looked down at his wrist.

"So far, nothing yet. But we’ll keep looking."

Cyli however, noticed something and shook Spiral to get his attention.

"Spiral, look! Down there! Those guys were on the news with Twilight’s friends."

Spiral looked at his intercom again.

"Pac, we found someone!"

"Great! I’ll let Twilight know, right away!"

With Mario, Luigi, Peach and Starlow, they were also noticing the the figures not too far from them. Starlow tried to fly in as close as possible to get a better view, without being spotted.

"Heads up, Mario!"

Peach looked towards the weird looking figures.

"Who are those guys?"

"They kinda look like those figures we saw on the news."

Peach calmly started walking to the pair.

"It’s ok, everyone. Let’s just be friendly."

Mario, Luigi and Starlow followed closely behind, with Cyli and Spiral walking towards their group. Once they were united, Cyli was the first one to speak.

"Hi, sorry to bother you. But we’re looking for someone. Does the name ‘Twilight Sparkle’ mean anything to you?"

Peach gasped in surprise.

"Yes. It does! Have you seen her?"

Spiral chuckled slightly.

"We met her actually."

The princess smiled happily.

"That’s fantastic news! I’ll let Dr. Light know that we got a lead!"

Meanwhile down in the Netherworld, Lord Betrayus' servant butt-ler, had come to see the ghost overlord.

"Lord Betrayus, sir. One of our slug cams has found the Pac-Man. He and his new friends seem to be in the hedge maze."

Betrayus grinned menacingly and rubbed his hands together.

"Oooh! Splendid! I say we give the Pac-Brat a little surprise!"

The ghost then began laughing evilly.

Back in the Hedge Maze, Ness, Pac-Man and Twilight were walking to their way to Cyli and the others, when Ness could feel the same PSI reading from before, but it was even stronger now. They must be close to it!

"!!"

"What is it this time, Ness?"

Ness began focusing his energy once more. He could feel the strength of it.

"I can feel it getting stronger, but I have a bad feeling about this."

Suddenly a barrage of ghosts appear and ambush Pac-Man and co.

"Uh oh."

The group were surronded with barely any options for them to take. Twilight tried firing some spells at them but it only slightly pulled them back a little bit, causing a minor annoyance towards the ghosts.

"Pac, can’t you use your power berries?"

"Oh yeah. I almost forgot about them."

Pac-Man pulled out his canister where he stores power berries, but to which he found that none were filled in there. He face palmed at himself.

"I also forgot to refill the canister. We've gotta get out of here before things get rough!"

Ness was trying his best to hold the ghosts off with his PSI abilities.

"But can’t you just eat them normally."

"Yeah, but if I had my Power Berries, it would go by a lot easier."

Pac's intercom then turned on, showing Sir Cumference looking concerned.

"Pac. What’s going on out there?"

Pac turned towards his intercom with a panicked looking expression on his face.

"It’s Betrayus’ army. They’ve got us surrounded and I’m out of Power Berries!"

"No problem! I’ll send Spiral and Cylindria your way. Just stay put!"

The 2 big ghosts leading the pack started grinning with an evil expression, and started floating around and taunting Pac-Man.

"Looks like you got nowhere to run, Pac-Man!"

"Even with your Power Berries, it’d take a lot more than those to stop us!"

The ghosts began to laugh while still taunting the group.

"Ness, do you think you can use your powers?"

"I’ll try. Cover your eyes! PK Flash!"

Ness focused all his energy into creating a giant green spark of energy, and blasted it in the ghosts faces.

"Aaah! What’s this blinding light?"

"Now’s our chance! Run!"

The group ran away from the pack of ghosts as fast as their feet could take them. The big ghosts and the pack they were leading recovered from the blinding light.

"They’re getting away! After them!"

The 2 big ghosts and the army began to chase after Twilight and co.

"Pac, which way do we go?"

Pac-Man looked around at all the different paths the group could take. He was having a difficult time figuring out a path himself...

"Left. Or was it right? Huh. This hardly ever happens. Usually, I know my way around this place."

Twilight didn't want to wait any longer however. The group of ghosts were gaining on them, and fast!

"Well we should pick, and fast! Those ghosts are gonna catch up to us any moment now!"

"Then we go left!"

Pac-Man pointed his finger to the path to the left. However they shortly found out that they ended up running to a dead end. That can't be good...

"Oh no! It’s a dead end!"

"Quick! Go back before—"

But before the group had a chance, the ghosts had found them once again.

"End of the line!"

Twilight turned her head towards Ness.

"Ness, use PK Flash again."

Ness attempted to use PK Flash on the ghosts, but he had already drained his energy.

"I can’t. I’m all drained out."

Twilight went wide-eyed and started to sweat.

"So do we just wait for them to catch us?"

The ghosts slowly began advancing onto the group with menacing smiles.

"I’m gonna enjoy this! No escaping this time, Pac-Man!"

Suddenly out of nowhere, a voice could be heard.

"PK Thunder!"

The ghosts out of nowhere, got electrocuted by a massive ball of electricity. They were knocked down, but not out just yet.

"What was that?"

"I bet the kid did this!"

The ghosts were getting frustrated, and nearly attacked Ness.

"No I didn’t!"

Ness flailed his arms in protest, with the ghosts folding their arms with a scowl in response.

"Yeah right! Who else but you can do that?"

The voice was then heard again.

"I can! PK Freeze!"

Before the ghosts could do anything, they were all frozen in solid ice. Another young boy with blonde hair made his way over to the pair. Ness had a shocked expression on his face. He seems to know this boy somehow.

"I can’t believe it. It’s you!"

"You can thank me later, now let’s get out of here!"

The group, along with the newcomer ran out of the hedge-maze before the ghosts could break out of the ice, or more ghosts could arrive.

"It’s been a long time! How’ve you been?"

"I’ve been doing great, thanks!"

The two boys smiled and hi-fived each other.

"Wait a minute. Do you two know each other?"

Ness smiled at Twilight and nodded. He then remembered the PSI reading from earlier, and turned back towards the boy.

"Oh yeah! I just remembered! So that PSI reading was actually you?"

"Yep."

Twilight gave a curious look towards the young lad.

"So who are you exactly?"

"My name is Lucas. A voice led me to find you."

Ness sweat-dropped

"Good thing you did."

Pac-Man was happy that they were managing to find who they were looking for, and that they were out of danger.

"Looks like our friends are here!"

Pac-Man's intercom then turned on showing Spiral.

"Yo, Pac, what happened in there?"

"I’ll explain everything when we get back to Sir C’s lab."

Cyli poked her head over to the intercom.

"Actually, that’s what we’re here about. Twilight, we have something to show you!"

The group made their way over to a place called Mega City. Twilight looked around at all the futuristic looking buildings.

"What is this place?"

"It’s called Mega City. Well, here we are."

Twilight turned towards Cyli.

"What did you want to show me?"

Spiral laughed and patted Twilight on the back in a friendly manner.

"We just thought you’d like to know we found your friends!"

Out of nowhere, Pinkie Pie jumped in front of Twilight, with confetti shooting out of her party cannon.

"Surprise!"

Yah. This story hasn't been the best in terms of updating it frequently. Rest assured though, things will begin looking up. I am now no longer in college, which gives me a lot more time to work on this story, so hopefully delays won't be an issue from this point on. We'll see. Me and SuperNintendoGameboy have also been discussing plot points way ahead of the story, so we hopefully won't be running into writers block anytime soon. Our original chapter goal was 25 or so, but that will most likely be surpassed. Regardless of such, we definitely have some exciting things planned for the future of this story!
