I love how despite her wallflower nature, Wallflower gets along great with Anon. If anything, Pony Wallflower seems more nicer than her human counterpart.

I know Ponyville ponies aren't the brightest, but this feels like too much. It's an art exhibition. No one that remotely cares for art would vote for the artists over the art. Considering Wallflower's submission I wouldn't expect her to win, but this is honestly stupidly insulting.

With Wallflower's style of art, this was probably a very poor place to show her work. Better to show to ponies and creatures that actually care about art. Why did she have her heart set on this Art Off specifically? It feels like showing off fancy cooking at the local fair with the country BBQ cook off. Wrong audience.

Both Anon and Wallflower seem to be in places where their talents and virtues aren't appreciated. Not because they're unremarkable or anything, but simply because they aren't in a place where the people (or in this case, ponies) have the ability to value what they have to offer as they are.
Some say that beauty is situational, it just so happens that no matter how beautiful Anon and Wallflower's creations are, the individuals around them don't have the capacity to see that beauty as it is, only how they see it as.
At least, that's my take on it. :P Great chapter though, Runic!
