Oh thank you I needed that been a while since I read a good story and laughed so much. gotta say my mother is just as bad as pipp errr more hitch at cooking. love her but meat loaf consist more then just meat in a pan.... oh and ketchup on top lol. not sure how I fare for making sandwiches but I do make sure to prep everything before cooking but never tried mayo as a non stick option for the sandwich but may have too

And yeah, you might have to become a kitchen-spy and sneak in the extra ingredients when she's not looking lol! Although, I will say, it's so delicious when the ketchup is shortly broiled on top for a little caramelization.
And definitely give mayonnaise a try. It's just much more convenient in my opinion, but lots of people still end up missing the flavor of butter.
