Anyways... i think Navarone is falling for Luna (albeit unconsciously). It's kinda apparent with how he talks like for example this:

Big deal. Also, someone actually brought up a good point, one that explains his asshole-ish nature. He's an incarnation of Discord, as mentioned in the prolouge. He's going to be an asshole, because he's essentially a puppet for the antagonist of this story

This is going to be an unpopular opinion here, but holy shit, the main character in this is such an insufferable jackass. I get that there are explanations: he's Discord, he's an 'edgy' teen. What I don't get is why the ponies find him endearing. He's constantly bombarded by mares trying to get in his pants even though he's a relentlessly pessimistic and self pitying asshole who's openly disgusted by the idea, to an insulting degree. I can see why a person might be depressed in his position, but you'd think that after the time he'd been there somepony would be sick enough of his shit to tell him to shut the fuck up. It's making this story hard to read. If there weren't a number of comments saying that he grows up a bit later on I don't think I could keep going, because I'm not even rooting for the guy at this point.

Still wouldn't be the first story I kept reading despite my feeling towards the MC. Though with a story this long guess we'll have to see if I can make to the end.
