Sorry is this guy an ancient warrior, because he runs away and "cowards" a lot for that to tell you the truth he acts like a putz.

9231452
Fair point, as of now he has been a coward without any redeeming traits, I'll try to change this as time goes on. Thank you for the feedback :D.

Running over to the pond he took off his helmet, pressing his hands together firmly he scoop up a handful of water heating it with his magic just to make sure. Taking a large sip and then downing all the water in one gulp he felt much better. He soon took a few more handfuls and drank until he was satisfied.

Did... did he just drink boiling water?

If the main OCs in this story were voiced, what would they sound like?

9243121
No just really warm probably Sandy water

Good Story so far!
The Ending tho... he's gonna do something stupid i can see it.

Drain with their magic and tickle them

*<>* pinkie tackle from across the room screaming I've finally found you ....

Officially a favorite
Thank you for the story

Yeah, I reedited this now, It was pretty bad, I couldn't believe some of the mistakes I left. I had to be out of it when making this intro. The grammar was abysmal....

I'll do a steady revamp of old chapters as time goes on.

Why didn't you answer my question?

9270551
I couldn't think of a way to answer it. I never really thought of a definite voice for any of my OC's. Besides maybe Stanley sounding like your generic american. Originally I was going to have him sound more British. but decided against it. He was suppose to be a farmer in Germany from the 1880's who left Britain with his family. I scraped this idea, since a more modern character would have more to talk about. Longbeak's voice would be a bit scratchy sounding, very deep in pitch. The changelings would sound like your generic drone with a bit more personality. Peddle Frost...hmm. She didn't have enough dialogue for her to have a definite voice. I didn't mean to ignore your question. Sorry about that.

Too bad he didn’t have a pension for all the time do he served in stasis

9270682
Even if he did, I don't think anyone would have lived long enough to acknowledge it. haha, Unless you'd trust your pension with someone like Discord....but hell no.

definitely tell it's not good to keep secrets, especially from friends and alicorns

She thinks this is a game
she thinks he’s a joke

If Stanley was trained by the alicorns of old, shouldn't he be able to easily kill two changelings? Don't say that it is because of the stasis, as "this specific kind of stasis implies an artificial pause that stops all physical and chemical processes, including those of life; they resume as if uninterrupted as soon as the stasis is ended", which would preserve musculature, reflexes and instincts, but also diseases and such, so if he was sick in some way when entering stasis, he would still be sick when leaving stasis unless someone else cured him of it in that timespan.

Yes yes good good have them try get in his pants more make them feel like a piece of meat or a prize to be won

He isn't as strong, as you'd think. He only spent 10 years in Old Equestria with less then that training his magic. [This will be expanded on later when I do a flashback chapter]. Which would mean he still has less experience with magic then even Twilight. Twilight was also trained by an elder alicorn (Celestia) along with having a proper schooling when dealing with magic.

I wanted to try something different with Stanley's character. Instead of an offensive type magic user, I wanted to try a more supportive magic based user. Aka someone who buffs up others and such. He can still do combat magic yes, but it takes him a while longer to cast such spells. Also I should have specified, Zell is like a hive elite not just a push over. Mellow on the other hand was about to get crushed by Stanley. [Thank you for the feedback by the way.]

9297399
Oh this chapter was revised twice. The first revision....Mellow gave Stanley a hoof job while Zell held him down...but I decided against it.

Moving his right hand toward his chest. He shut both his eyes, using his mind to focus and channel his energy. Spontaneously, his eyes now popped back open, as he moved his right hand away from his chest. Pointing it toward the night time sky, a small ball of blue magic could be seen at the base of his palm. It was swirling, as it seemed to condense more tightly with every second before bursting into a red hot ball of fire. Without a second thought, he launched the red hot plasma out of his hand. As it soared high into the night time sky before dissipating into nothing.

Got this backwards in terms of heat blue is the hottest unless we are talking white fire, which I don't even know if that is possible. Still like the chapter though.

9297527
Oh his magic is just a blue color. I might have worded that one funky. The fire ball spell is a generic low energy spell consisting of a red fire. I should have specified it as a low level spell. Changing the nature of the fire ball to a blue flame would be a higher level spell as it'd be more dangerous and like you said. Higher energy thus more heat radiates from it.

[I will try to update weekly*]

What's up with the *?

9297667
It means, it's up to possible change. I'm a full time college student. So when my work load gets heavy, I'd change it to monthly updates, etc.

....at least they'd used lube before fucking me.

That was funny!

9298861
I just noticed used....should be use.

How did I miss that mistake...damn-it! :facehoof:

I think the stress is getting to him a little.

Hell Rarity just make it a orange outfit and make it more official why doncha?

Chapter One: In the Middle of Nowhere

*In news mans voice from courage the cowardly dog voice* Meanwhile in the middle of nowhere.

and the tower shield on his back. His kit alone had to weight an absurd fifty kilograms.

110.231131 Ibs not that much for full plate actually.

I like this story so far keep up the good work.

How about magic missile? I hear that's a good spell to cast.

You might want to do a reread on this story a lot of errors

9462339
True, once I finally gain enough ambition to continue on with the story. I'm planning on revamping the early chapters, as they do contain many errors. Thank you for the feedback.

9257666
Maybe it was his magic power up the items

You mean Powering right

9560046
Yup, and thank you. I really need to get an editor.

oh man, this is why i get all nervous around girls like her.

Ok, serious question time...

Stan's voice choppy and rigid , as he still sat crisscross style with his eyes wide open from shock.
"I knew this spell wasn't a good idea! But it was needed. I at least know their are hundreds of being out there with high level magical abilities. Those two Alicorns.....ridiculous....so much magic... I hope to god they didn't pinpoint my location...they could easily do so."

... wasn't he looking for the Alicorns? Why should he hope that the two most of powerful ones, the ones he researched and knew were immortal and crazy powerful, not find him? Heck he should want them to find him, unless the whole 'serving the Alicorns' thing realy isn't his schtick. While we are at it, I also have to question the armor he is wearing, is it some kind of arcane 'power armor'? Cuz it's stupid heavy compared to the heaviest of historical armors. I mean, A complete suit of plate armour made from well-tempered steelwould weigh around 15–25 kg (33-55lbs). The wearer remained highly agile and could jump, run and otherwise move freely as theweight of the armour was spread evenly throughout the body. Plate Armor Wiki

I ask because you compared it to 'knights full plate' in chapter one, and I just figured the immense weight was a typo... but 150 kilos translates to 330 lbs... thats crazy! Are the plates over an inch thick or something? How the hell did the gryphon knock our tin can human over? He would weigh in at over 500lbs appx 230 kilos, if he was of slight build... That would be like slamming into a dumpster...

Ah well, onward to the next chapter.
