This story is a sequel to Alexandrite: Ace Attorney: The Harbinger of a Turnabout
Alexandrite—Crystal Pony and Defense Attorney—works at Escutcheon, Buckler, and Aegis: the most renowned law firm in Manehattan. While perhaps not the center of attention when it comes to large, earth-shaking, world-changing events, you certainly do get some characters coming through the door.

Well, that was quick.
Back to the subject at hand! This chapter was great! You show and build the character's personalities so well, that I mustache you a question:
Where are all the likes this story deserves?

=P This is going to be a series of unrelated shorts, each one standalone but none of them really worth putting up a new fic for every time. They're projects I'm working on when I hit a blind spot in writing the full fic, and should serve to both get me kickstarted on working on the main story and flesh out the world a little bit, while letting me post some stuff up here to tide anyone interested over until I finish this big 'ol monster.
For reference: The main fic is currently at nearly 27,000 words across, at the moment, 5 chapters. I have quite a bit of chapter 5 left to go, and then I'll have at least 3 more coming. All in all, I'm expecting around a 50,000 word story.
Because of the nature of it (as a mystery), I want to write the entire thing before I post any of it, because I need the whole thing to be cohesive and make logical sense. When I actually post it, though, it'll probably be one chapter a day every day or two, with a few exceptions of short chapters going up 2 at a time.
The dates of the days are inconsequent: It starts with April 20th, then suddenly jumps back to 17th, which makes little sense except if she took care of the bird for a year
Other than that, I really like this. The characters all have interesting quirks and good chemistry between them, the scenario is nicely reminiscient to the original Ace Attorney without being a cheap rip-off, and the humour is so good I laughed loudly a couple of times. Keep up the good work! I am really looking forward to Alexandrite's first big case
7272967 Oh god, you know what I did? I pulled up a calendar, looked at a week, thought "It starts on Friday, goes to Saturday, then skips to Wednesday", but I ended up going back to the Wednesday of the same week on my reference. Thank you for pointing that out, it was a silly mistake! It's fixed now~.
And I'm glad you liked it! This story and all the minis I post in it are technically just side adventures you don't need to read, but I think you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of it when it comes around from having read them, and I'll have my characters down better having written them some.
Edit: Also, if I ever say anything you already know, or if I seem to be repeating myself, kindly slap me around a bit and point it out. Alexandrite has several introductions, between the two stories up, the one I'm working on, and all of the advertising I'm doing, so I may end up blurting out information that seems like an advertisement just out of habit.
7273550 Well, slip-ups like this happen. I think I once used a calendar for something too, but the dates didn't add up. It took me forever to finally find out I used two diffrent months as reference
