Oh wow, that was a fantastic chapter. Managing to be both tense and hilarious at the same time.

It feels so odd heaping praise on the story. I admit that when I first went into it, my expectations were... Low. The only letdown so far have been the beginning. Felt a bit cheap to start it out with Lero already having been in Ponyville for so long, making the romance feel a lot less entertaining.

Still, wonderfully high quality in the chapters and I can't wait for the next one.

Dash analyzing her situation reminded me of Robert downy jr as Sherlock Holmes when he's about to fight. Ultra cool.

This is *incredibly* wrong. Embryos (being fertilized eggs) are immediately male or female depending upon the sex paired chromosome of the sperm that fertilized the egg.

The simple reason for why male mammals have nipples is simply that it is not a sex linked characteristic, meaning that the genes that program for it are not contained on the XY chromosomes, so everyone gets nipples because evolution has not selected *against* nipples.

This is one of the best romance fics I've had the pleasure of reading. Defiantly the best with a mature tag (which I think makes it harder to write). My only small disappointment is that the author wishes to remain anonymous, as I would dearly love to personally convey my appreciation of this fantastic work of art.

Excellent portrayal of a martial arts grandmaster. Did not boast, just rationally explained why attacking RD was a really bad idea, did not make the first move, was completely professional, floored the first combatant after several warnings with the minimum amount of force necessary to do the job. Having known several scarily competent hand to hand fighters in my day, the attitude portrayal was spot on. Once you get that high in martial arts, you get less likely to use it on people, not more.

I also like the fact that despite RD knowing Lyra has a thing for Lero she never let or even hinted that that was in any way part of her motivation. That is the ESSENCE of professionalism. Lyra is both a warrior and an artist, and this multifaceted approach to her character is intriguing and exciting.

Anyways, I got blindsided by this chapter and I'm impressed. It's more that I was wondering "Why haven't I seen a Xenophilia chapter for a while?" I really enjoyed this chapter, like each one before it.

Why would anybody even try to mess with the Mane 6 and Lero? I feel like most of them would be able to hold their own in a fight, and if not, hurting any of them would invoke the wrath of Celestia and Luna! That's okay though, at least this chapter gave Lyra an excuse to be a complete badass.

I've never read RD as a lesbian myself and always thought that assertion was kind of unfair. I've got no problem with her being bi, however. ;) As for replacing human-obsessed Lyra with badass Lyra? Well, it's quite a radical change, but at this point Lyra's human fixation is reaching flanderization levels already, so I'm actually cool with it. I mean don't get me wrong, I like eccentric, obsessed Lyra, but there's no reason that has to be her only portrayal. Besides, it's good to mix things up a bit every now and then.

Wow... Lyra was just cool as cucumber in this chapter, wasn't she? The author did an amazing job painting her as unnervingly calm and professional. I was kind of taken aback really. The whole encounter, right down to the teasing note she ended it on, left me with kind of a "Wha... what the hell just happened?" feeling. Kudos, as usual.
