Well, there's what's keeping me from writing the final two chapters of Extradition.
Well, there's what's keeping me from writing the final two chapters of Extradition.
For the first time since 1.0, I've maxed out a character.
It also bears mentioning that I have yet to play any post-50 content. Hutt Cartel, Shadow of Revan, Knights of the Fallen Empire... I haven't done any of that yet. I still have a class story and a half to finish up.
Well, if you count the 5-day early access period that pre-order players got, today is the fourth anniversary of Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Still remember all the chills I got from that cinematic.
Sigh.
You know, given the recent track record of EA and Bioware, I really, really shouldn't be surprised at any of this.
A couple weeks ago I commissioned a SWTOR piece, and I am beside myself with the final product.
My Cathar Sith Warrior, and his companion (wife in this case, dependent on story choices).
Absolutely stunning, and as my most expensive commission to date, and worth every penny.
...nor shall I ever be, your slave."
One of the reasons the Sith Warrior is my favorite class story in SWTOR is the dialogue is head-and-shoulders above the rest of the classes.
It hit the market at 50,000,000 a week-and-a-half ago. No takers.
Then it went down to 40.
Then 30. Then 25. Then 20.
Now, finally, it hit 10. And I had 10.2.
Wasn't going to wait for anyone else to snatch it, as 10 mil is only two week's worth of heroics, and No Man's Sky is eight days away.
For only the second time since launch, I'm going to let my SWTOR subscription lapse for 6-12 months. The endgame gearing in 5.0 is just so backwards.
Grinding for specific gear is fun. There's a goal.
Grinding for gear in a RNG system is gambling. Nothing more.
Well, overnight I attempted the Eternal Championship on SWTOR, which is a series of arena fights against 10 bosses, all with varying tactics and strategies.
#9 was the toughest fight I've had in this game in a long, LONG time. Brady can attest to how angry I was getting as my character fell to a huge droid more than 20 times. This of course is in sharp contrast to how face-rolling-ly easy the story missions of KOTFE have been so far.
I think the biggest reason for going to Badlands National Park for a week, aside from wanting to see the buttes, prairie, and wildlife, is that it's away from everything and everyone.
No Democrats. No Republicans. No feminists. No cops. No social media. No crowds.
I'm short, it's perfectly isolated from all the fucked up shit that is going on in the world today that I'm so fucking sick of hearing about.
So, it's been known for a bit that the Togruta are becoming the next playable race in SWTOR.
My first thought was "Hey, awesome!. Maybe I'll start a new class with one."
And then today, it hit me. This is the Star Wars fandom.
"Oh god... All the Ahsoka clones that are gonna be running around..."
Playing through the last three years of expansions in ten days has been very interesting. In the past week and a half, my Sith Warrior has saved Makeb, admitted to the Dread Masters his fear of losing what few loved ones he has, and finally, at last, severing all ties to the psychotic Emperor Vitiate, casting aside the title Emperor's Wrath and becoming the Empire's Wrath.
Well, it's quite obvious at this point that there's going to be a second season of Knights of the Fallen Empire, as there's no way everything can be wrapped up in one more chapter.
Rather than link the patch notes, let me give you the biggest changes for Knights of the Fallen Empire, if you were thinking about returning.
My Sith Warrior's beloved is finally back, and holy shit is she packing some serious heat.
Which means it's time to catch up. I left off on Chapter 9.
Hope the reunion is done right.
So this is what it's like hiring people from a pool of candidates.
Usually when I [rarely] commission an artist for a cover, portrait, or what have you, I usually seek them out, having looked at their work beforehand. But this time, someone on the SWTOR reddit suggested I go to the Hungry Artists subreddit, and ask around there.
Finally. Finally something to tide me over until Halo 5.
But, my face when my Presence stat bonus is so high that my healer has more hit points than me, the tank...
But the level sync is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. No more being overleveled. At last, the grind is fun again.
Take any soccer ground on the globe, and ask the crazy individuals within what they think about soccer's worldwide regulating individual body. Journalist He Negrin did that.
MATT NEGRIN: Everyone had the same response, and buy SWTOR credits this was one of worldwide factors I came across. Everybody dislikes game.
