Nova is evil... for everyone trying to justify his actions, and those who are unhappy with them... He is evil. Is it because he was imprisoned? Yes. But he is still evil. He wants to do what he is doing. I have seen many people make LoHAV characters that are kind of evil, or look evil, or are evil characters... yet they are not evil. Nova does what he does because he is evil and wants revenge. Granted, he cares, has a conscience (more or less) but he is not the 'good guy' of the story. I don't even have a good guy planed out yet, if at all. How would I even manage that? Nova is unstoppable at this point. Only one that may pose a threat is himself... (see chapter 8) He is basically an evil superman. Remember Superman 3 from the 80's or so... That, but not alcoholic; at least, not now. If he decides later to start drinking, it would be pointless. His healing factor makes it impossible for him to get drunk; like Deadpool, Captain America, and so many others. His healing factor is actually stronger then Deadpool's, as hard as that is to believe.
I did warn you that this would be a rant.

AFTER THAT...
Well, there is a 'war of understanding' to attend now isn't there? He does have the ability to go hopping from dimension to dimension at will, he just doesn't do it yet. I think he'll pay Michael Faraday a visit.
Now, as for his back story... I don't know yet. Might I go and write out his life before leaving Earth... I may. Will I have to skip things? Yes, he is over twelve thousand years old... Granted, some of that was trapped in a box.
