I'm So Close

I should be finishing an Advent chapter. I'm so close to having it done. Instead?

I'm writing about Fluttershy as a sniper. Because I saw her, and she crawled into my brain, and won't go away.

As per seemingly any and every story I write, it's gone weird, and is some insane cross of Aliens, Mechwarrior, and Dead Space. I think I'm going to make her partner in violence be Hudson from Aliens.

Because...because Hudson, man.

On the bright side, due to my nonlinearity, once I finish the next AR chapter, there will be two more basically ready to be proofed and published, so that'll give me a buffer if I stick to a weekly release schedule afterwards... Which will help, since I think it will not be easy writing several chapters full of mountaineering/long-range hiking.
