After school...
The sky was clear, buildings stood tall over us. Ponies were everywhere, in shops, in cafés even walking. It was a beautiful day. A regular day...
"So what do you two want to do?" I say, smiling.
"I don't know, maybe go to your mansion?" Golden Ingot says, watching some of the other posh ponies.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Electric Bolt says happily.
And I, Golden Ingot, and Electric Bolt trot down the street.
When we reach my Mansion I see our butler. I never knew his real name so I have always called him 'butler'.
"Hey butler, me and my friends are going to hangout, is that okay with my parents?" I say, curious to know.
"I will check, stay here, I will be back momentarily." The Butler says as he walks off, looking for my parents.
The Butler returns allowing us in "Your parents said Yes, and they can stay until sundown, or else their parents may get worried. Regal Prism's Room is the second door to the left." He told us
"Okay!" Electric Blue and Golden Ingot say in unison, and they trot upstairs, and into my room.
I trot up the stairs to my room, opening the door with a magical grasp and closing it behind me.
"So, what should we do?" I said, looking around.
"We could play Tag, sound like fun?" I said, smiling.
"Wait, we could play Charades!" Electric Blue says jumping up and down excitedly.
"Or, we don't have to do something here, we could go down to Ponyville and find something to do, and maybe go to the Library, the libraries here aren't really interesting, and plus, I don't really want to read any books here, it's good to find other books then these." Golden Ingot suggests.
"That sounds like a plan, let's go." I say, opening the door with my Hoof and letting them out.
We all walk out the door of my mansion, and we start our way to the Trainstation, to Ponyville.
As we walk down the street, I take in my surroundings, and feel the crispy air going across my face and body. As ponies walk around me, I look at the Café and shops. Occasionally seeing somepony walk out, Rarely I see trees around. As Canterlot is just buildings, I sway putting one hoof in front of the other, just as the trees sway in the wind.
We reach the Trainstation after a few minutes of walking, "Well, we are here, I haven't been this far away from my house ever." I told my two friends, we all went inside, got tickets, and we all trotted off to the Platform, where we waited for the Train to come.
When the train finally arrives, steam fills the air, and the conductor comes out, "All aboard is coming aboard! This Train is heading for Ponyville!" the Conductor exclaims, and me, Electric Blue and Golden Ingot hop on board, and setting ourselves and a few other ponies down on seats, and we headed for Ponyville, where we will make new friends, and have fun.
Once we sit down, I look outside the window to see Ponyville and the Trainstation vanish quickly behind us.
"I wonder how many friendly ponies we will meet." I said, turning my head back to face the table.
"I don't know, I hope that there will be alot..." says Electric Blue, looking out the window.
"Yeah, I don't know either." says Golden Ingot, looking at us.
The train slows to a halt once we reach Ponyville, and I see to find many multi-colored buildings beyond the Trainstation, and Canterlot above. Once we get out of the train, and out of the trainstation. Many ponies greet us. As well bowing down to me, which I find annoying at some times. One of them happens to be a pink mare, bouncing excitedly.
"Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! And welcome to Ponyville!" Pinkie Pie says exuberantly, giving us all rib cracking hugs.
"Uhh... I am Regal Prism, and these are my two friends, Golden Ingot and Electric Blue." I said, as they wave when called by name.
I look around, the place was beautiful, and I felt like it was better than home. I couldn't explain why. As I looked up, I saw Cloudsdale, working away making clouds, and rainbows. I wanted to stay here forever, and move here, but I couldn't, I lived in Canterlot and that would be my home until I came of age to move on my own. But until that day comes, I will forever live in Canterlot.
As we walked down the streets of Ponyville, we noticed a tree in the middle.. Not just any tree, but a house made out of the tree, we walked towards it, and knocked. What answered the door made us nearly laugh. A Baby Dragon opened the door, looking at my two friends, then notices me. And his eyes widened enormously. And slammed the door shut running back inside the treehouse. And appears later, but not alone, with a Lavender colored Mare, smiling as if she were an angel.
"What can I help you three with?" she says, examining us.
"W-we came here from Canterlot to find something to do." Golden Ingot stuttered, looking behind the Mare at the amount of books. And looks back.
"Well, here you can find plenty of things to do, Oh! I almost forgot, my name is Twilight Sparkle, why not come in? I'm sure I've got what you need, that is, if it is book related..." Twilight says, looking behind her at the books displayed across the room in shelves.
We all walked in, and looks around, books were everywhere, there were at least ten or eight shelves, filled with books. I looked at the Kitchen doorway, and many other hallways that I could not think of what they led to, then I found my eyes staring at a wooden ladder, looking up to where it was placed, on a perch, I could see a small but big enough to fit the Baby Dragon in, basket, that looked like it was a bed for the Dragon, and next to it, a bigger, more proper bed, with star covers, which was not hard to be Twilight Sparkle's Bed, and a small table next to it.
"So, do you live here?" I asked, still examining the Library.
"Oh, yes I do. My Baby Dragon, Spike lives here with me too." Twilight replies, climbing the ladder to the perch with her bed was, "Well, I will be writing to Celestia if you need me, feel free to take any books you find interesting." she says, trotting to the Table next to her.
"Hmm.." Golden Ingot and Electric Blue said, looking around for a good book to read.
My face lit up as I found the first book of Daring Do, and I snatched it from its position on the shelf.
"Well, I found my book, you ponies found yours yet?" I ask, looking at them from the other side of the room.
"We have, ready to go?" They reply, walking out the door, letting it open for me, and we walk off.
As we walk, a Cyan colored Pegasus sleeping on a cloud catches our eye. She had a Spectrum colored mane and tail, and she immediately awoke as she heard hooves below her.
"Hey... Would you keep it down? I am TRYING to sleep..." she says, weary.
"Eh? Um... Sorry, ma'am..." Electric Blue called out to the mare, looking down at us.
She examines us, one by one, then she yawns, stretches then flies down to us, smiling.
"I'm Rainbow Dash, best flyer in Equestria, if I do say so myself..." Rainbow Dash boasted.
"I am Electric Blue." he says, "I am Golden Ingot..." she says, then looks at me.
"I am... Regal... Prism.." my voice trailed off, filling me with shyness.
"So, you ponies new in town? I haven't seen you three before..." Rainbow Dash says, examining us closely, "Yes, we are. We are exploring this town, know any directions?" I ask, looking at the tall mare, she was very tall compared to us.
"Well, Sugarcube Corner is down that way, Sweet Apple Acres, you might have seen on the way here, is over there, and it looks like you three came from the Library." she replies, pointing in the directions of where the locations of which she named were.
"Yes, we did, Sweet Apple Acres seems like a place to go, well, I guess we'll see you later Rainbow Dash, bye." Golden Ingot tells her, and we walk off... Heading to Sweet Apple Acres.
It was still a beautiful town, as we walked, we saw many orchards of which hundreds of Apple Trees were located. Each in different rows, we finally saw a Barn, and a house. The barn was enormous, some places with peeling paint. We were happy, and we couldn't wait to meet the ponies who owned Sweet Apple Acres. We were certain... That Ponyville would be a nice place to live, instead of Canterlot.
We reached the entrance to the Farm, the white fence seemed to shine as we entered the vast farm, where we would meet four ponies. And make friends.
All was well...
