We'll reset it all.

A simple crossover fic with some rule 63. In this fic, I will cover the jest of seasons 1, 2, and 3 of the show. I'll try to mix the personalities of the characters and the ponies, but that may fail. Also, feedback would be very much appreciated as long as the worst of it is only constructive criticism.

One day, Dusk Shine, the big brain at Coltic Academy, uncovers a hidden laboratory beneath an abandoned factory. The supercomputer within holds a virtual world, a beautiful virtual mare, and a malicious virus called Discord, bent on plunging Equestria into chaos. Now, it's up to Dusk Shine and his friends Caramel Apple, Rainbow Blitz, Rarity, and the virtual mare, Fluttershy, to battle Discord and save Equestria.

The computer screen flashed to life and the purple unicorn’s face was reflected in the screen.

“Diary of Dusk Shine,” the stallion said out loud while typing. “Coltic Academy 8th grade student. October 9th. A couple weeks ago, I was looking for parts to finish my robots. I couldn’t find anything around here, so I went off to explore the abandoned factory near the school.” As he said this, he had a flashback of him climbing up the passage outside the factory. The stallion then galloped into the factory. He came inside, but the stairs were gone and the only way to get to the ground floor was by a rope hanging from the ceiling. Dusk then grabbed the rope and hung on for dear life until he reached the bottom. He then went into the nearby elevator and pressed the switch closing the elevator door and taking him down several floors. “And I wasn’t disappointed,” he continued to say as he was typing. “I found this huge complex complete with a supercomputer and scanners. For the moment, I haven’t told anypony. It’s my little secret.” The elevator then opened in front of the supercomputer room. “That night, even though I was scared stiff, I decided to start up the computer.”

Dusk Shine stood in front of the supercomputer, a huge pillar-like structure that was glowing yellow. The lever for activating it lowered before the unicorn. He then raised his hoof onto the lever. “I hope I’m not going to regret this in a moment.” Then, bracing himself for anything, Dusk Shine pulled the lever with both hooves, then stood back for a moment while the supercomputer powered on. It glowed a bright white and sent a gust of wind in all directions, pushing Dusk Shine back a little. He was off balance for only a moment, but then regained his balance. He then walked back into the elevator.

The elevator slowly (slower than a f***ing snail) opened and Dusk Shine walked into the computer room. He walked over to the chair and sat in it. It then revolved around the large circular structure in the center of the room, stopping in front of a terminal with several monitors and a keyboard. “Now...” said Dusk, typing, “let’s see what you’ve got under the hood.” The screen flashed to life and loaded several windows. After a while, another window opened up, showing a yellow pegasus mare with a long pink mane sleeping. “What’s all this? A video game?”

The mare on the screen woke up with a start, then noticed Dusk Shine. “Wh- who are you?” she asked in a quiet voice. “Where am I?” Dusk was rendered speechless at how beautiful the mare was.

The next day, at the school...

Dozens of ponies entered the already-crowded science room including Dusk Shine and, on the other side of the room, a blue pegasus stallion with a rainbow mane called Rainbow Blitz. Blitz had just sad down when he was approached by an orange earth stallion with an oversized hat. “Excuse me,” the stallion said in a southern accent. Blitz looked up, listening. “Are you Rainbow Blitz?”

“That depends,” replied Blitz, “who wants to know?”

“Caramel Apple,” he answered quickly, sliding into the seat next to Rainbow Blitz, “his new roomate! I’m new here at Coltic, and the principal said I should move in with you.”

There was a short pause, then Blitz spoke up. “Look, you and I don’t exactly go way back, so for now let’s just take things slow.”

“Okay, nice and slow. Got it.”

The two were about finished with their conversation when they were approached by a blue unicorn mare with a very light blue mane. “Hey, Rainbow Blitz,” she said, “I have something very important to tell you.”

“Is it something like ‘I can’t find my makeup’ or ‘My purple cape ran?’”

“Oh, no. It’s nothing as serious as that. It’s about you and me. If you’d like to know more, come by my dorm at 7.” She then trotted off, being eyed by two other unicorns, one blueish with an orange mane and the other dark yellow with a blueish-green mane.

“So Blitzy... ‘sweetheart,’ who’s the good looking mare?” asked Caramel teasingly.

“Trixie, the principal's daughter,” replied Blitz. “Colts flip over her, but she’s only flipped over me.”

“Cool.”

“‘Cool?’ She’s totally brain dead, and a leech as well.”

“In that case, it’s pretty lame.”

School courtyard. An hour later.

Rainbow Blitz and Caramel Apple walk outside. Caramel is talking and Rainbow seems very annoyed. “...then the waiter says ‘I don’t have frog’s legs, that’s just how I walk.’ Hahaha, you get it?”

“No,” replied Rainbow, turning around, “but what I am starting to get is that you’re determined not to give me a break.”

“Don’t worry. By the end of the day, you won’t be able to do without me.”

The two then walked off to their dorm. “Yeah, I hope so.”

The factory.

Dusk Shine got on the computer and powered it on. “Artificial intelligence,” he called to the screen, “can you hear me?”

“Yes,” replied the yellow mare, “but would you mind calling me something else?”

“Okay. How about... Posey?”

“‘Posey?’ I like it. But what I’d really like is for you to tell me what I’m doing here.”

“That won’t be so easy, but I do have a couple of answers. You’re in a virtual environment called ‘Lyoko,’ and you need to get out of there. Try looking for a door, or something.”

In Lyoko, Posey is kneeling in the middle of a platform that looks kind of like some kind of eye. She gets up and walks down the longer end of the platform toward the wall. She puts her hooves on the wall and feels around. “Dusk Shine, I can’t find any- oh!” Suddenly, her hoof goes right through the wall. She pushes a little more and her entire body is phasing through the wall. She exits what appears to be a tower into a strange forest-like environment.

“Posey,” called Dusk Shine, “where are you?”

“I don’t... this is... this is weird, you have to see this.”

“I’d love to. Can you get me a visual?”

“Okay, I’ll try.”

Dusk Shine waited patiently for Posey’s visual until it appeared on his screen. (https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQIxYHx8skTlY0si7HO6MgpLSMCT4HFj8olhc5TDqXhR1zAG7f8:img-cache.cdn.gaiaonline.com/8f012dba1eada38440bd25ff441f8ca1/http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww58/hEyyy_XxMjF/Lyoko/LyokoForestSector.jpg) Dusk Shine was examining the visual when the circular structure in the center of the room suddenly came to life with a holographic image of a strange small sphere with four groups of what appeared to be islands extending from it. “Posey!” Dusk shouted, “there isn’t just a forest out there, there’s an entire world! I count four sectors. Each one is different.”

Posey continued walking down the path, listening to Dusk Shine, when two strange roach-like creatures appeared and turned to her. Each had an eye simlar to that of the platform in the tower. “Dusk Shine,” she said, “I’m not alone out here. There are some... animals.”

“That’s amazing! It’s an entire virtual ecosystem complete with living creatures. Can you get closer?”

Before Dusk could finish his sentence, the creatures began shooting bolts of energy at Posey. “DUSK SHINE!” she shouted, galloping back to where she came from, “they’re attacking me!”

“Run Posey! Get back to the tower!” Posey was almost at the tower when one energy blast hit her, knocking her down face first in front of the tower. On Dusk Shine’s screen, Posey’s status card began flashing red and an alarm was sounding from the computer. Dusk panickedly put his hooves against the screen and shouted “HURRY! Get out of there!” Posey got up as fast as she could and made one final dash into the tower, narrowly avoiding what could have been a fatal shot. She collapsed on the platform. “Posey? Posey, can you hear me?” On the screen, Posey’s status returned to normal. “You- your life points are regenerating.”

The next day, at the school.

At the soup vending machine, a white unicron mare with a purple mane levetates a cup of soup in front of her and stirs it while trotting off. Caramel Apple and Rainbow Bitz are standing nearby, drinking the soup they already got. Caramel Apple is talking while Blitz watches the unicorn. “So this mare-friend of your’s, Trixie-”

“I told you,” interupted Blitz, “she’s not my mare-friend.”

“Cool!” shouted Caramel, crumbling up his cup and throwing it to the ground in front of him. “So that means she’s available.”

“I told you, she’s lame.”

As the two were talking, Dusk Shine walked over to the vending machine, put in a Bit, and pressed a button. However, the button electricuted him and he colapsed to the ground. “Shine!” shouted Rainbow Blitz, tossing his soup and moving toward Dusk Shine. He picked up Dusk Shine, turned to Caramel Apple, and said “I’ll fly him to the infirmary, you go tell a teacher.” Caramel nodded and galloped off. Blitz hoisted Dusk Shine onto his back and flew off. However, what neither of them saw was how all the buttons on the vending machine began to glow with the same insignia that was on the creatures from Lyoko.

The infirmary.

Nurse Redheart checked Dusk Shine’s blood pressure to make sure everything was okay. “Nothing serious,” she said, “just a minor electrical shock and some superficial burns. You’ll be fine.”

“You wanted some juice, Shine,” commented Blitz. “Well, looks like you got some.”

“Very funny, Blitz,” replied Dusk Shine.

“Just try not to hurt yourself like that, again. I’ll some check on you tonight after my martial arts class.” Blitz then walked out of the room.

That night, in the gymnasium.

“How are you all?” Big Macintosh shouted to near-empty gymnasium. The only pony in attendance at his martial arts class at the time was Rainbow Blitz. “I am happy to see so many of you here, tonight. (I’m going to misspell these next few words, so I’m apologizing in advance.) Keripayat. Kabosuku. Jutsu. No these are not dishes served at the Golden Dragon Chinese resturaunt. Ha ha ha.” Just then, the white unicorn from before walked in. “Oh, no offense, miss Rarity,” Mac added quickly.

“None taken, dear,” replied Rarity, sitting down next to Blitz.

“Yes, of course. Why would you take offense? Anyway,” Mac continued after clearing his throat, “these are fighting styles that will save your life, just like they saved mine when I was in the marines.”

“Really?” asked Blitz. “What happened?”

“Well, I was quietly sitting by my campfire one night enjoying a waffle when I was suddenly attacked by a vicious beaver. It’s razor-sharp fangs were going for my juggular, but I was able to defend myself with my mastery of the martial arts.” This, however, only caused Blitz and Rarity to laugh uncontrolably. “What?”

“No offense, sir,” Blitz managed to say, “but I think you were better off not talking about it.”

“Yes, well, that’s enough, now. I want everypony to get into groups of two.” Blitz and Rarity got up and trotted over to where Mac was indicating.

The two ponies bowed to each other and began exchanging hoof blows. Rarity managed to knock Blitz off his hooves and onto his back. She then managed to pin Blitz to the ground and the two struggled. Then suddenly, a connection was made that was beyond any magict a unicorn could conjure. “Okay, that’s enough for tonight,” said Mac breaking the two up. “Bow to each other now and go get some beauty sleep.” The two then got up, following Mac’s instructions. Rarity bowed, but Blitz just turned around and walked off.

“Well, nice to meet you too, darling,” said Rarity as Blitz walked out.

Dormitory. Caramel and Blitz’s dorm.

Rainbow Blitz walked into the room to find half the place, his half, trashed. In the middle of it all was an excited dog. “What happened here!?” shouted Blitz. “And what’s that mutt doing here?”

“That’s Winona, my dog,” replied Caramel. “She just had a little fit. The poor thing’s not used to being couped up like this.”

“Her? Look at this place! She trashed everything! My books, my CDs and- GAHH! Did you see what she did in my bed?”

Caramel walked over and noticed the large “gift” Winona left. “Ehhhh. Well, I couldn’t take her out with everypony around. There are no pets allowed on campus.”

“Yeah,” replied Blitz, walking out the door. “I’m sure the principal will be happy to hear about this.” Blitz then closed the door and galloped off.

“It’s okay, Winona,” Caramel said to his dog after she had torn a pillow to shreds. “I won’t let them do anything to you, my good little diggity-dog.”

At the other end of the hall was Dusk Shine’s dorm. He was working on his computer when the screen suddenly faded to black. “What’s going on?” Dusk asked, pressing Shift several times. Then, a strange logo, the same one that was on the monsters from Lyoko, appeared on the screen. “Hey, I’ve seen that logo before.” Suddenly, Dusk’s robots came to life, and in their camera lenses, the same logo appeared. The robots then jumped their creator.

Rainbow Blitz was galloping down the hall when he heard Dusk Shine’s scream. Blitz bucked open Dusk’s door and rushed inside to find Dusk being attacked by several small robots. Blitz tried to pull one off, but another one came up and shocked his leg. “Hey! Cut it out!” he shouted kicking at the robot. He managed to finally knock the robot away, causing all the other robots to back off and Dusk’s computer to shut back down. “Your friends are pretty aggressive. You might want to check their settings.”

“I had nothing to do with it,” said Dusk Shine. “They just started attacking me all of a sudden.

“Yeah. You mind explaining?”

“Nevermind. It’s kind of odd.”

“I’m not leaving this room until you tell me what’s going on, Shine.”

Dusk Shine was about to respond, but instead sighed and said “What have I got to lose? I’m already in way over my head.” Dusk then walked over to the door and closed it. “Can you keep a secret?”

The factory. Not long later.

“That tunnel in the gym is a great way to beat curfew,” said Blitz.

“Yeah,” replied Dusk Shine. “and there’s another one on the campus.” The two galloped into the factory. Rainbow Blitz stopped at the fallen stairway. “You’re not scared of heights, are you, Blitzy?”

“Uh! No!” replied Blitz quickly. He then flew down and followed Dusk Shine down to the elevator where the two then went down to the computer room.

“Really?” asked Blitz after Dusk’s explanation of what happened over the past few weeks. “You turned on a supercomputer and it had a virtual world on it? This morning’s shock must have really fried that giant brain of yours.”

“But I’m serious. The evidence is all here,” replied Dusk Shine indicating the terminal.

“No. This is just the control center of the factory.”

Dusk Shine typed in some stuff into the computer, revealing Posey. “And what do you call this? A program for spraypainting doors?”

“Hello Dusk Shine,” said Posey.

“You progrramed her, didn’t you?” asked Blitz, still not believing Dusk’s story.

“No. She’s an artificial intelligence who lives on Lyoko. She has to stay in some kind of tower, or she’ll get attacked by weird monsters.”

“Riiiiiiight. What if this is all just some big video game?”

“Then it’s a very dangerous game. My robots are programed to fetch a ball, and they just tried to kill me, don’t forget.”

“If it’s that dangerous, Shine, I say you just shut it down and call the police.”

“I’d like to, but I want to help Posey understand what she’s doing on Lyoko and mabye even bring her here to Equestria.”

“Yeah, and what makes you think you can do that?”

Scanner room.

Rainbow Blitz followed Dusk Shine around the circular room. “What are these?”

“Scanners,” replied Dusk Shine. “They scan your physical structure, download the data into the supercomputer, then break down your atoms before digitalizing them and transferring them into supercomputer’s mainframe.”

“Yeah, can you say that again in English?”

“You go into the cabin, you come out in the virtual world.”

Rainbow Blitz listened half-heartedly while knocking on one of the scanners. “Dusk Shine, these things don’t exist yet.” He looked back over at Dusk Shine to find him sitting inside one of the cabins.

“I just want to help Posey. How about we test them? That way you can see that what I’m saying is true.”

Blitz listened with interest. “And I think I know just how...”

Dormitory.

Trixie was in her room applying a mud mask and picking out a dress. “Oh this one would look perfect!” she said pulling out a red dress. Then, she turned to the mirror and said “Tonight, Rainbow, dear, you’re all mine.”

Meanwhile, in Caramel and Blitz’s dorm, Blitz quietly walks over to Winona. “Hey little doggie,” he said to her. Winona woke up and looked up at Blitz. “I’ve got a surprise for you. You’re gonna get virtualized. How do you like that?” Winona just replied with a breath.

Back in Trixie’s dorm, she sits impatiently on her bed. She looks over at her clock to find that it said 7:05. She then took out her cell phone and called Rainbow Blitz.

Rainbow Blitz had just grabbed Winona when his phone started ringing, waking Caramel Apple up. “Huh? Hey! Come back!” he shouted after Blitz flew out the door with Winona in his hooves. He then got up and galloped after Blitz.

Trixie closed her phone after Blitz didn’t answer and walked outside into the hall towards his dorm. She was almost there when Blitz flew by, nearly crashing into her. She was about to shout after him when Caramel Apple crashed into her, instead. The two slowly recovered and resumed their chase after Rainbow Blitz.

Rainbow Blitz flew out the dormitory building and towards the gymnasium with Caramel and Trixie chasing after him. Blitz flew into the gymnasium and headed for the tunnel in the boiler room. Trixie and Caramel stopped at the door to the tunnel just in time to see Blitz flying down the tunnel. “Where is he going?” asked Trixie. “I’m sure there’s another mare behind all this.”

“No,” replied Caramel, “see, it’s my dog, Winona.” Trixie misinterpreted this and fainted.

The factory.

Blitz pressed his back against the side of the elevator and breathed a sigh of relief. He then pressed the button and the elevator closed, sending him down to the scanner room. Trixie and Caramel made their way to the elevator, but it had already left by the time they got there.

“Why is he taking Winona down there?” asked Caramel.

“Who knows,” replied Trixie. “Maybe he’ll use her for some horrible science expirement.”

“You watch too many horror movies.”

“You’re right. Maybe it’s for some kind of ritual sacrifice.” This just made Caramel sigh with annoyance.

Down in the scanner room, Rainbow Blitz placed Winona in one of the scanners. “Good doggie,” said Blitz, backing away. “Now don’t move.” Blitz then climbed the ladder up to the computer room where Dusk Shine was waiting for the green light.

Just when Blitz left the room, Caramel and Trixie had dropped down out of the elevator, Caramel with general grace, but Trixie kind of stumbled. The two walked into the room, looking at the strange cabins. “What is all this?” asked Caramel.

“That’s it!” shouted Trixie. “It must be the tomb of some Egyptian pharoah.”

Meanwhile, Blitz came into the computer room. “Okay, Dusk,” he said. “The mutt is in the scanner.”

Caramel continued to look around until he found Winona in one of the scanners. “Winona! There you are!” He stepped into the cabin and picked his dog up, hugging her.

“Okay,” said Dusk Shine, “here we go. Transfer, guinea pig.”

Just then, Winona jumped out of Caramel’s hooves just before the cabin closed. “Oh no!” shouted Trixie. “You’re going to be mummified!” As she says this, Winona is digging at the ground before the scanner as if to tunnel under it.

“Scanner, guinea pig,” continued Dusk Shine. “Hey!” He suddenly shouted when a model of another pony appeared on the screen. “That’s a weird looking dog.”

“That’s no dog!” shouted Rainbow Blitz. “That’s Caramel Apple!”

“I- I don’t know how to stop the prosedure!”

Before Dusk had any time to react, Caramel disappeared from inside the scanner and reappeared in the Lyoko forest. He materialized a few feet in the air, then fell abruptly. “Ouch!” he shouted. “Wh- where am I?” He looked around, dazzed. He then looked at his hooves which had been replaced with giant cat paws. “And why am I dressed like a giant purple cat!?”

Meanwhile, back in the scanner room, Blitz climbed down the ladder to find Trixie standing in front of the closed scanner. “Oh, Rainbow!” exclaimed Trixie.

“Trixie? What are you doing here?”

“Chasing you so I could ask you the same question.”

Meanwhile, Caramel was still looking around his new environment. “Caramel Apple?” called Dusk Shine’s voice from what seemed to be the air.

“Wha- who’s calling me?”

“It’s me, Dusk Shine.”

“Is this come kind of prank?”

“Dusk Shine,” called Blitz from the scanner room.

“Don’t worry, Caramel Apple is safe and sound on Lyoko.”

“Can somepony please tell me what exactly ‘Lyoko’ is?” asked Caramel.

“It’s a virtual universe,” replied Dusk Shine.

“Cool!” exclaimed Caramel. Then, suddenly, he was blasted by an energy blast. “Ouch! Okay, that’s a lot less cool. I’m being attacked by some weird cockroaches. Is that normal?”

“Yes.”

“Oh, so nothing to worry about.”

“That’s not what I meant. You have to get out of there. Rainbow Blitz, Caramel is in danger and I need time to devirtualize him.”

“He needs backup,” replied Blitz. “Do you think you can send me and Trixie to Lyoko?”

“To where?” asked Trixie, startled.

“To a virtual world where weird monsters want to massacre you. You’ve always wanted to go out with me, so here’s your chance.”

“No thanks,” replied Trixie. “I prefer real worlds. I’m not really into the other kind.”

“Suit yourself... chicken,” said Blitz stepping into the scanner. “Okay, Dusk Shine, I’m ready.”

“Okay, I’m starting the prosedure.,” replied Dusk Shine. He then re-entered the codes for the virtualization process. “Transfer, Rainbow Blitz.” As Dusk was going through the process, some wires in the back of the room began to glow with electricity. “Scanner, Rainbow Blitz. Virtualization.”

Meanwhile on Lyoko, Caramel Apple continued to gallop away from the monsters. He then stopped when he heard Dusk Shine’s voice again. “Caramel, don’t worry. Rainbow Blitz is on his way to lend you a hoof.”

“Oh, good,” replied Caramel. “I was starting to get kind of lonely out here.” Just as Caramel said that, Rainbow Blitz began to materialize in the air before him. Caramel was about to warn him about the fall, but it was too late and the pegasus came crashing down. “That looked like it hurt,” Caramel commented.
Blitz got up and stood on his hind legs, looking around. He was in a yellow and black samurai outfit with a saber attatched to his left hip. He noticed the saber and drew it, admiring the way it moved and how he could grip it in his hooves. “This sword is awesome!” he said still slicing at the air with it.
“Hey! That’s not fair!” shouted Caramel. “How come he gets to be a samurai? I wanna be a samurai, too!”
“I don’t know,” replied Dusk Shine. “Maybe the supercomputer reads into your subconcious desires and projects them onto your digital avatar.”
“But I don’t dream of giant purple cats. I want a weapon like Rainbow’s. Not these giant useless paws.” As Caramel said this, he flicked his wrist (or whatever that joint is called on a horse, don’t judge me) and some kind of dart fired out of his paw, nearly hitting Rainbow Blitz in the face.
“Hey, watch it,” said Blitz, kind of annoyed.
“Hmm... these arrows are pretty cool. I take back what I said, I’m fine with being the giant cat.”
“Okay, now go meet Posey in her tower. I’ll send you the coordinates.”
“And who’s this ‘Posey’ mare?” asked Trixie appearing out of nowhere behind Dusk Shine. “And what’s all this?”
“This? It’s the mainframe of a supercomputer.” As he was saying this, the monotor suddenly shut down and the screen was filled with the same logo as the one on his computer in his room. Meanwhile, Winona was in the corner of the room, barking at the moving wires. Suddenly, the wires exploded out of the ground and came to life as though they were some kind of electricity serphents and attacked Dusk Shine.
Back on Lyoko, Caramel and Blitz are walking down one of the forest trails. “So who’s this ‘Posey?’” asked Caramel.
“A virtual mare who lives here on Lyoko,” replied Blitz.
“Cool, so there are babes here, as well?”
“Yeah, but I get the impression Shine’s flipped horn-over-tail for her.”
“What? Over a virtual chick?”
“Eh, unicorns are weird. Hey, Dusk Shine, are you going to give us those coordinates?” Back at the factory, Dusk Shine is hiding behind his chair to avoid the blasts of electricity from the living wires, once in a while risking being fried to try firing a bolt of magic at them. “Dusk Shine, are you asleep over there?”

“Hey,” said Caramel, indicating a tower in the distance. “That might be Posey’s tower. Let’s go.” The two then galloped over to the tower and stopped at the base. Caramel leaned up against the tower. “Is there a door?” Suddenly, his hoof phased right through the wall and he came inside the tower, only missing the platform and hovering in midair. He reached for the edge of the platform and grabbed it before he could fall. He was about to hoist himself up when Blitz entered the tower and grabbed Caramel’s leg to avoid falling. “You’re too heavy!” shouted Caramel, losing his grip on the platform. “Drop your saber!”

“Nice try,” replied Blitz, “but forget it.” (This sounds like a good time to say this: Rainbow Blitz can’t fly on Lyoko. He can only use his wings to get a little bit of extra air on his jumps or to increace his galloping speed. Rarity, on the other hoof, will still be able to use her magic for telekinisis) Before Caramel had any time to respond, he lost his grip on the platform and the two stallions fell into the dark abyss below.

To be continued...

(Not really, I’d never do something like that, XD #troll)

Caramel and Blitz exited the new tower into what appeared to be an ice sector. “Where are we?” asked Caramel. “Where did the forest go?”

“How should I know?” replied Blitz. “But do you see that tower over there? Weird how it isn’t the same color as the others.” And Blitz was right. The tower that they had entered in the forest was blue, but the one in the distance glowed red.

“And those monsters,” added Caramel, indicating a trio of cube-like monsters on small spider legs. The three monsters advanced on the two ponies and began firing.

“Uh, might be a good idea to beat it, don’t you think, Caramel?” The two ponies galloped away while the monsters continued to chase them.

Back at the factory, Dusk Shine was being lifted into the air by the wires while Trixie and Winona hid in the elevator. “Go! Sic ‘em! Sic ‘em, I said” Trixie shouted to Winona who was simply barking at the wires from the edge of the elevator.

Things weren’t going so well back on Lyoko, either. Caramel and Blitz were surrounded by the Blocks. They managed to block several of their attacks (no pun intended) but the ponies were unsucessful in actually doing any damage to the monsters. Blitz jumped up on top of one of the Blocks and started striking and slashing at the top. After seeing that this was unsucessful, he was knocked off by the Block. “So how are you supposed to kill these things?” asked Caramel aiming at one of the blocks. But before Blitz had a chance to reply, Caramel got blasted by one of the Blocks and was devirtualized.

Blitz saw this happen and charged straight for the Block that had devirtualized Caramel. He leapt a little off the ground and did an airbourne charge towards the Block with his blade extended. He managed to stab the Block in the small dome that it was firing it’s blasts from. This actually caused the Block to explode. Rainbow Blitz landed with a feeling of triumph. “Yes,” he said with his back turned to the other Blocks. This mistake, however, left him open to a fatal blast from one of the other Blocks. It hit Blitz square in the back, devirtualizing him.

Back at the factory, the scanner opened and Rainbow Blitz fell out of it. “Great,” he said. “At least we’re alive.”

“If you say so,” said Caramel, still laying outside the other scanner, shaking. “I think I’m going to throw up.” Suddenly, the two heard Trixie’s scream from the floor above and galloped to the ladder.

In the floor above, Blitz and Caramel came up to find the wire snakes holding Dusk Shine in the air. Blitz noticed a sheet of metal next to him, picked it up, and struck at the wire with the sharp edge. However, he acted so quickly, he forgot that metal conucted electricity, so he was in for a real shock. Blitz was knocked to the far wall. One of the wire snakes was about to charge right at Blitz to finish him off, but it stopped suddenly, “It works the second time,” he heard Caramel say. He looked over to find that Caramel Apple had picked up the metal sheet he dropped and struck at the wire again. “I told you that by the end of the day you wouldn’t be able to do without me.”

The wires then slowly receded back to where they came from, releasing their grip on Dusk Shine. The computer screen also returned to normal. “Thanks, Caramel,” said Dusk Shine.

“Don’t mention it.”

Dusk Shine got back on the computer and started everything back up. After everything was booted back up, Dusk Shine tried to call back Posey. “Posey, are you there?”

“I’m here,” the pegasus replied. “How are things over on your side?”

“Well, we’re a little shaken up, but we’re okay.”

But everything wasn’t okay. The strange tower in the ice area still glowed red, and the threat remained the same...

Return to Lyoko

(Yes, the ponies can stand on their hind legs or all fours on Lyoko. It’s a virtual universe and it gives them powers. Who cares about logic at this point, anyway?)

The next morning. Coltic Cafeteria.

Rainbow Blitz and Trixie are at the same table. Blitz is trying to eat, but keeps getting bothered by Trixie’s starring and sighing. That’s when Caramel Apple came over. “Hey, everypony,” he said. “Mind if I sit here?”

“I guess not,” replied Blitz. Caramel sat down and quickly started wolfing down his breakfast, hardly seeming to take a second to breathe. “You always eat like that?”

“No, actually,” replied Caramel with his mouth full. “I’m not really that hungry, today. Has anypony seen Dusk Shine?”

“No, he was up all night working on Lyoko once he got his computer working again.”

“Man, that stallion is a real Starswirl.” (Because I can’t really call him “Einstein” in this story.)

“Who’s Starswirl?” asked Trixie.

Dusk Shine’s dorm.

Dusk Shine was talking to Posey on his room computer. “Unfortunately, you’re not like Caramel or Blitz. You can’t be devirtualized when you loose all your life points.”

“Too bad,” replied Posey. “At least I know how to change sectors now.”

“And I dug up some info about the tower in the ice sector. When the towers are red, it means they’re activated. That might be what we need to materialize you here in Equestria.”

School courtyard.

Rainbow Blitz, Caramel Apple and Trixie are all sitting at a bench while Dusk Shine tells them about his theory. “So you want us to go back to Lyoko to get Posey into a red tower?” asked Blitz.

“Yes,” Dusk replied. “I’m sure that’s how we can materialize her.”

“Did you happen to forget about those monsters? We’ll get blown away in a heartbeat. If only there were at least three of us, but Trixie’s too scared to go.”

“I want to go to Lyoko,” Trixie said, trying to defend herself. “But when cheerleading practice is over.”

“Okay, fine,” said Dusk Shine. “But until then we have to keep this a secret. Agreed?”

“Agreed,” replied Caramel.

“Agreed,” replied Blitz. He then looked over to Trixie.

“Huh? Oh, ditto,” she said. Then she put her hoof on Blitz’s shoulder and said “I can’t wait to see what I look like on Lyoko.”

“Me neither,” replied Caramel. “With a little luck, I won’t be the most ridiculous-looking one in the group.”

“Well, I need to get going,” said Blitz, breaking free from Trixie.

“Where are you going?” she called. “Aren’t you coming to watch my tryout?”

“No, I’ve got something I need to take care of. See ya.” He then flew off.

Gymnasium.

Rainbow Blitz landed in front of the door and looked around to see if anypony could see him. When he decided the coast was clear, he walked inside. “Back for a second thrashing, darling?” He turned around to see the door had closed and Rarity was standing behind him.

“I don’t like ending on a bad note,” replied Blitz.

“That’s ok,” she replied, trotting past Blitz. “There’s nothing I love more than a good challenge.” Blitz followed her to the center of the gym where they began to spar.

Dormitory.

Trixie walks out her door and down the hall to the football field where the cheerleading tryouts were taking place. After she had walked out of the hall, a small ball of lightning appeared out of the electrical outlet outside her dorm.

Football field.

(I hate myself because I think I memorized this whole scene best) Out at the football field, Big Macintosh judges the cheerleading tryouts. Trixie trots up to preform her routine, being intently watched by the orange and blue unicorns from a few days before. After making sure everypony was watching her, she began her routine, bouncing around and spinning her baton with her magic. “A cheerleader cheers so her team won’t lose! We’ve got bright manes and sparkley horseshoes, how can you choose? There’s no doubt, we’ve got clout, winning at Coltic is what it’s all about!” After seeing that nopony was really interested, she decided to preform her best move, throwing her baton and catching it in her hooves. However, she couldn’t quite control her throw and it sailed through the air, eventually falling right on Big Macintosh’s head.

The two unicorns were cheering, but Mac didn’t seem too pleased. “Sorry, Trixie,” he said, rubbing his head, “but being a cheerleader isn’t about being a baton juggling baboon.”

Gymnasium.

Blitz and Rarity just stand there, panting after several rounds. “You’re a pretty good fighter,” he said. “You been training long?”

“Yes,” replied Rarity. “All my life. My parents think it’s weird.”

“I don’t. By the way, I’m Rainbow Blitz. You- you’re... Rary, right?”

At this, Rarity turned around and sweep kicked Rainbow Blitz, who was knocked off balance and fell to the gournd. “It’s Rarity.”

Lyoko.

The tower in the ice sector continued to glow red, and strange pulsations were eminating from it. These pulsations were so strong, they could be felt by Posey, who was still in her tower in the forest. “Dusk Shine?” she called. “Dusk Shine, can you hear me?” When there was no answer, Posey decided to leave the tower and investigate. When she reached the wall of the tower, she hesitated a moment. What if those monsters were still out there? She couldn’t afford to worry about that, right now. She had to investigate those pulsations. At last, she forced herself out of the tower. She found that the coast was clear, and the pulsations could be seen on the ground. She galloped towards the pulstations, down the path that originally had the monsters on it.

Dormitory.

Trixie was walking back to her dorm, complaining about her failure. “A baboon, huh? And how about a green-tailed cockatrice while he’s at it?” She turned around to find that she was being followed by the two unicorns from before. “Hey, do you two dorks plan on following me all day?”

“Well, yes,” replied the short blue unicorn. “We’re you’re biggest fans. We even started a club here at the school called ‘Friends of Trixie.’”

“Oh?” asked Trixie. “And about how many ponies are part of this club?”

“Um, well, for now there’s just the two of us.”

“Ah. Well let me know when there’s at least 50 of you. In the meantime, if you don’t stop following me, my father will find out that you two tried to break into my room.” She then slammed the door on the two unicorns.

“She’s even more beautiful when she’s angry,” said the taller orange unicorn.

Inside Trisie’s dorm, she opened her closet to change out of her cheerleader unirform. However, when she looked inside, she found some kind of ball ofl lightning. She let out a scream that was heard by the two unicorns who were just walking away from her dorm. They rushed in to find her lying on the ground, unconcious, with the giant ball of lightning hovering over her. As soon as it had appeared, the orb vanished into thin air.

Lyoko. Mountain sector.

Posey walked out of the way tower, seeming to have lost the pulsations. She walked a little further away to see if she could feel them again, but found hereself under attack by another Kankrelat. She took cover behind a rock, but found herself cornered.

The Library.

Dusk Shine and Caramel Apple were sitting next to each other in the library. Dusk Shine was working on his laptop while Caramel sat there with a pencil in his hoof an a blank paper in front of him. “Aha!” Dusk Shine exclaimed suddenly. He then turned to Caramel Apple. “A couple days ago, I dug up this program called ‘Return to the Past,’ and I just figured out how to activate it. Isn’t that cool?”

“Yeah,” replied Caramel, not really listening. “Hey, Starswirl, can you help me with my electro-chemestry test?”

“Caramel, are you planning on calling me ‘Starswirl’ forever?”

“Well, why not? So what about my report?”

“Just write ‘Electro-chemestry is the science of the relationship of electricity and chemestry (do reasearch and fill in later).”

“So all I have to do is say that?”

“Well of course not. You have to give examples.”

Just then, two (background) stallions walked by behind the two, talking. “So Trixie was rushed to the infirmiry this morning,” one of them said.

“What did she do?” asked the other. “Pull a muscle in her brain trying to add two plus two?”

“No, she got electrocuted.” Dusk Shine and Caramel looked over at each other and rushed over to the infirmiry.

Lyoko. Mountain sector.

“Dusk Shine?” called Posey. “Dusk Shine, are you there?” When there was no answer, Posey weighed her options. The only way she would be able to escape would be if she ran for it towards a small drop-off nearby. With her wings, she wouldn’t be hurt too badly, but the same certainly couldn’t be said about the Kankrelat that had her pinned. So, after a breath of courage, she dashed off to the drop-off with the Kankrelat trying to fire after her. She leapt off the the drop-off and started galloping at full speed down the path with the Kankrelat chasing her, contrary to what she thought would happen. She continued galloping until another Kankrelat cut her off. There were Kankrelats on either side of her, and she was backed up to the edge of the cliff. She saw no way out of the situation and she knew there was more land below, so she jumped, trying to use her wings to slow her fall. The Kankrelats followed her.

Down below, Posey comes falling out of the clouds and hits the ground with a roll. The Kankrelats fell shortly after, but one missed the path completely and the other bounced before falling into the void below. However, there were more monsters headed her way. Two hornet-like creatures came and began chasing her. Posey got up and started galloping as fast as she could away from the Hornets. The Hornets began firing at her in their pursuit. One blast actually hit Posey in the shoulder, but she didn’t have time to be slowed by the damage. All she could do to preserve her life was to keep galloping at top speed.

Coltic Infirmiry.

Principal Artemus (yes, this is Prince Artemus, r63 of Luna) gallopped as fast as he could to the infirmiry, stopping outside to talk to the two unicorns who were following Trixie around. “You brought Trixie here,” he said. “What happened to her?”

“She was in her room and she got attacked by some lightning monster,” replied the orange pony.

“Would you try to be serious for once, Snails?” asked Artemus, angrily. “You’re the one about to get a shock in a moment.” As he was scolding Snails, Dusk Shine and Caramel Apple listened in on the conversation.

Gymnasium.

Blitz and Rarity continued to spar after nearly an hour, and each of their movements showed so. Rarity tried to knock Blitz over, but Blitz countered her strike and flipped her right over him. However, he misjudged how much power he needed and Rarity easily turned the attack around and pinned Blitz to the ground. The two struggled for a few seconds, but then they made eye contact and the same magic from the other night happened again. They just stared into each other’s eyes for a while. Finally, Rarity rolled over off of Blitz and the two just layed there, tired from the past hour. “Call it a draw?” asked Rarity.

“Sure,” replied Blitz. “I should get going. My friends are going to start wondering where I am. Same for you.”

“I don’t have any friends.” Suddenly, they heard a buzzing sound from the exit and before them was a giant living ball of lightng. “What is that?”

“No time to explain, follow me!” Blitz grabbed Rarity’s hoof and began galloping towards the boiler room. When they finally got inside, Blitz closed the door tightly and the lightning monster disappeared. Just then, Blitz’s cell phone rang and Dusk Shine was on the other side.

“Rainbow Blitz!” Dusk shouted galloping to the tunnel in the park. “Trixie just got attacked by-”

“By a giant lightning thing?”

“Yeah. How’d you know?”

“Because the same thing just attacked me in the gym. You and your supercomputer.”

“All the more reason to get Posey to the red tower. Caramel and I will meet you at the factory.”

Blitz hung up his phone and headed towards the passage. “Would you mind telling me what’s going on?” asked Rarity.

“No time to explain,” Blitz said, still walking to the passage. He was suddenly stopped when Rarity grabbed his shoulder.

“You got time for a third round, then?” she asked.

“You’re as stubborn as a mule, aren’t you?”

“Ah! How dare you call me such a thing! But yes, I can be quite stubborn. And since I have no friends, I’ve plenty of time.”

“Fine. Come on, I’ll explain on the way.” The two then galloped down the tunnel, running into Dusk Shine and Caramel Apple in the sewer area.

“Hey,” said Dusk Shine to Blitz. “What’s that mare doing here?”

“This is Rarity. She was with me when I was attacked, and she can fight, so I thought-”

“Okay, nevermind. We don’t have time to argue. Let’s just get to the factory.”

“Factory?” asked Rarity, following the stallions. “What factory? Is it dirty there? Oh! I just can’t stand dirty places.” When she finally looked up, she saw how far behind she suddenly was. “Hey! Wait up!” she shouted whlie galloping.

Lyoko. Mountain Sector.

Posey had hidden in a small cave to get away from the Hornets. As she looked outside to see if the coast was clear, however, the two Hornets came buzzing in from behind her. She saw this quickly and made a mad dash to the way tower on the other side of a path. She galloped at top speed away from the enemy fire before finally reaching the safety of the tower. However, she knew she didn’t have much time to rest, so she jumped down into the data stream below the tower, hoping to end up in the Ice sector.

When she finally left the new tower, she found that she had made it to the Ice sector at last. Her victory was short-lived, however, because she was quickly chased by two Blocks. She was kind of tired of all the galloping she had to do that day, but she had to continue.

Coltic Infirmiry.

Trixie slowly woke up with Big Macintosh and Nurse Redheart standing around her and her father holding her hoof. “Ohh,” she moaned. “Oh, my head. What happened?”

“It’s okay, dear,” said Artemus. “You probably just electrocuted yourself with your hair dryer.”

“Electrocuted... Oh no!” she shouted, jolting upright. “It wasn’t me, it was that super-whachamacallit of Dusk Shine’s! There’s some kind of lightning monster running around here because of him!”

“E-yup,” relplied Mac, pushing Trixie back into bed. “and a giant chemical teddy bear, too.”

“But it’s true. You have to believe me. He used it to send Caramel Apple and Rainbow Blitz to this virtual world where these weird monsters shoot lightning! Daddy, you have to believe me!” All three of the other ponies just stared at Trixie like she was crazy.

The factory.

Dusk Shine and the other ponies galloped at top speed into the factory. Dusk, Caramel, and Rarity grabbed on to the ropes to get down to the ground floor. Blitz, again, flew to get to the ground. The four ran into the elevator and made their way to the computer room. Dusk Shine got on the computer and tried to call Posey. “Posey, are you there?”

“Dusk Shine!” she shouted. “I’m being attacked by monsters!”

“Why did you leave the tower? Are you crazy?”

“I heard some strange pulsations and I wanted to see what they were.”

“Okay, don’t worry. Help is on the way. Try to find somewhere to hide, in the meantime.” Dusk Shine then turned to the three ponies behind him. “Get down to the scanner room. Posey’s in danger.”

“Who’s Posey?” asked Rarity.

“You’re gonna be meeting her real soon,” replied Blitz. The three then got back into the elevator and headed down to the scanner room.

Meanwhlie, back on Lyoko, Posey continues to gallop away towards a small ice cave with a virtual lake inside. She hoped across small chunks of ice floating on the surface of the water, hoping she would be out of the Blocks’s reach. One Block actually tried to follow Posey, but it was too heavy and it couldn’t get any traction with its tiny spider legs. It just slipped and slid around until the chunk of ice it was on finally flipped and caused the Block to drown. The other Block just looked on and rotated its head as if to say “Nope, not even going to try.” Posey sighed with with relief now that she finally had a chance to rest.

Back in the scanner room, Rarity looks around at the scanners. “I may use magic,” she said, “but this story of yours is pure science fiction.”

“Yeah,” replied Blitz, “except this is as real as your magic is.” Rarity never broke her skeptical stare.

“No time to argue,” said Dusk Shine from the computer room. “We still need to help Posey. Get into the scanners. I’ll start the virtualization process.”

Caramel and Blitz stepped into the scanners. The scanner that Caramel was in closed. “Don’t tell me you’re scared,” Blitz said to Rarity as his scanner closed.

“Wait! I’m coming too!” shouted Rarity, running into a scanner.

“Okay,” said Dusk Shine as the scanner closed on Rarity. “I’m beginning the virtualization process. Transfer, Caramel Apple. Transfer, Rainbow Blitz. Transfer, Rarity.” Inside of each scanner, each pony stood still except for their manes being blown upward. “Scanner, Caramel Apple. Scanner, Rainbow Blitz. Scanner, Rarity. Virtualization!”

In the Ice sector, Blitz and Caramel materialized in the air next to each other. They both landed on the ground much better than the first time they virtualized. “Great,” said Caramel, examining his purple cat outfit. “I’m still a giant purple cat.”

Behind the two stallions, Rarity began to materialize in the air. Blitz didn’t have time to warn her about the fall and she impacted on the ground hard. She got up slowly and examined her outfit. Her face seemed very powdered and her suit was a black and red Japanese-themed outfit with a yellow saddlebag. Her mane was tied into a ponytail. (Coincidence? Yes.) “Oh, this outfit is just spectacular!” she said after a while.

“It’s not fair,” said Caramel. “I’m the only one who looks like a nitwit on Lyoko.”

“Hurry up,” said Dusk Shine. “Poesy’s in danger. I’ll send you the coordinants.”

“Would somepony please tell me where we are?” asked Rarity.

“You’re in a virtual world,” replied Blitz. “Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it. Now let’s get going.” He and Caramel began galloping in the general direction Posey was. Rarity stood there for a moment, still wondering what was going on. Then, she figured she had better follow the others and began galloping after them.

The park.

“This is ridiculous, Trixie!” shouted Artemus. “We are not going in the sewers!”

“Fine,” Trixie replied. “You can tell that to the police when you find Dusk Shine and the others burnt to a crisp.” She then climbed down into the tunne with Artemus and Big Macintosh reluctantly following her.

Back on Lyoko.

Posey found herself fairly cornered when two Kankrelats came up behind the Block that originally had her pinned, and they were at least an eighth the size of the Block and at least that much lighter. The Block fired at Posey’s ice chunk and it started to float away to the far edge of the cave. The Kankrelats then hopped quickly across the ice chunks, stopping at the last one and using it to sail towards Posey. Posey’s ice chunk floated over to another cave that seemed more like a chute. She instinctively jumped into it to try to get away from the monsters. The two Kankrelats jumped onto the ice chunk Posey abandoned to get to the chute. One barely landed on one edge of the chunk. The other landed on the far side, catapulting the first one into the chute. However, there was too much momentum and the second Kankrelat was unable to get its balance back and it fell into the water.

Posey got launched out of the chute near another iceberg. She landed okay, but the persuing Kankrelat was too light and slammed right into the iceberg and exploded. However, her troubles weren’t over. She found herself surrounded by three more Blocks. They were about to close in on her when Rainbow Blitz charged in with his saber and took down one of the Blocks. Posey was about to thank her savior when she was suddenly approached by Caramel Apple. “Hi. You must be Posey,” he said, kind of getting in her personal space. “I must say, you’re pretty cute.”

While Caramel was trying to flirt with Posey, one Block saw its oppertunity and fired. If it weren’t for Blitz and his saber, they would have been hit. “This is no time to be a ladie’s colt, Caramel,” he said. “Don’t forget that we’re here to protect her.”

Rarity could only look on at the battle from a short distance away. “Excuse me,” she said, “but I seem to be missing a weapon.” That’s when she heard something like a blade pop out of her saddlebag. She pulled it out with her hoof and examined it. It was a pink fan. “While I do like the way this is colored, I don’t quite see how I’m supposed to fight with this.”

“Try throwing it,” said Caramel, trying to fire at a Block. “You never know.”

Rarity did as Caramel suggested. She threw her fan at one of the Blocks. It made contact and circled around, hitting the other Block dead on. The two Blocks exploded and Rarity caught her fan as it came back to her and put it back in her saddlebag. “Spectacular! I’ll go ahead and keep these.”

“It’s okay, Dusk Shine,” called Blitz. Posey is with us.”

“Good,” replied Dusk Shine. “Now make your way to the red tower.” As he said this, footage from one of the security cameras on the ground floor of the factory came on and on it was the lightning ball heading toward the elevator. “Hey, Caramel. I just found a good life-size example for your electro-chemestry report.”

“Really? And what’s that?”

“A nice live electricity monster. And it’s already on its way here.”

“Oh good. Can you catch it for me?”

“No, because I think it’s about to catch me!” The lightning ball appeared above Dusk Shine in the computer room. It grabbed Dusk in its energy field and flung him over to the far side of the room. It then made its way to where the holomap was in the center of the room.

“Dusk Shine?” called Posey. “Dusk Shine, are you-” The lightning monster had cut off communication to Lyoko and began fireing lightning all over the room.

“What happened?” asked Rarity.

“I don’t know,” replied Posey. “Dusk Shine isn’t responding. I think something happened ot him.”

“Look!” shouted Caramel, pointing at the red tower in the distance. “Let’s go!” The four ponies galloped at top speed towards the tower, but stopped suddenly when two large red crab-like creatures appeared. “Oh boy, crabs,” Caramel said, rubbing his stomach. “Who’s got the tartar sause?”

The two Krabs chased the ponies away from the tower. The ponies split into two groups. Blitz and Rarity broke off to the left and Caramel and Posey to the right. One Krab chased each pair. Rarity tried throwing her fans at one of the Krabs, but it just bounced off of it. The ponies were near powerless against the Krabs and it was almost as though they were being herded. Caramel Apple was on the side of an iceberg trying to fire at a Krab. “Beat it, Krabs,” he said. “The tide is coming in!” He and the Krab kept firing at each other. The Krab was missing constantly, and even though Caramel got several hits in, it seemed to do little damage. “Man. These guys aren’t just ugly. They’re tough, too.” He kept firing, but finally, the Krab hit him and he was devirtualized.

Meanwhile, Rarity and Blitz were being chased by the other Krab, which was joined by the Krab that had just devirtualized Caramel. “Wanna give it a try?” asked Rarity. Blitz nodded in reply and dashed further forward. Rarity slid forward and used her hind legs to bounce Blitz upward towards one of the Krabs. He landed on top of one of them and stabbed his sword into the Krab’s head, right in the center of the strange eye that had appeared on all the other monsters. He jumped off quickly so as to avoid the explosion.

While the two were separated, the other Krab fired at Rarity, hitting her in the knee and knocking her off balance. “Rarity!” shouted Blitz. He dashed as quickly as he could at the Krab, but it stopped him with one of its legs an flung him away towards where Posey was hiding. “Posey!” shouted Blitz as he was devirtualizing. “Get back to the red tower!” And with that, he was gone.

Poesy began to gallop towards the tower, but was quickly cut off by the Krab. Posey was sure this was the end, but then a strange power began welling up within her. She clasped her hooves together and knelt before the Krab and out of nowhere, a wall of ice appeared between her and the Krab. Rarity was on her way to try to defend Posey, but slowed when she saw what happened. “Did you do that?” she asked.

“Yes,” replied Posey. “At least I think so.”

“No time to wonder that, now. Get to the tower. Hurry.”

“Okay.” Posey galloped around the iceberg where the Krab was firing at the wall of ice Posey created.

“It’s okay, Dusk Shine,” said Rarity. “Posey’s on her- GAHH!” The Krab had destroyed the wall of ice and Rarity was devirtualized from the blast. Posey looked behind her to see what had happened, but she figured there was nothing she could do, so she just made her way into the tower.

Back at the factory, Trixie, Big Macintosh, and Artemus had just gotten to the computer room from the elevator, where the giant ball of lightning was still in the center of the room spraying lightning all over the place. “What is all this?” Big Macintosh shouted, spotting Dusk Shine in the corner of the room. He then ran over to him. “Oh, when I get my hooves on you...” He was stopped, however, by a bolt of lightning and lifted into the air.

Back in the tower, Posey found herself on a smaller platform towards the top of the tower. She looked around to see what was different about this new area when a screen appeared, startling her. She looked around to try to understand what was going on, but there were no answers, so she tried putting her hoof on the screen. It scanned her hoof and a name appeared on the screen. “Fluttershy?” she repeated out loud. The name disappeared and the screen changed to a code input screen. Automatically, the code “Lyoko” was entered and all the data pieces that lined the walls of the tower fell into the darkness below.

Back at the factory, the lightning monster suddenly disappeared. “What was that?” asked Artemus, angrily. “What were those flashes?”

Dusk Shine got up slowly to find everypony he didn’t want to see there. Just when he was about to say something, Caramel Apple, Rainbow Blitz, and Rarity climbed up from the scanner room. “Rainbow Blitz!” shouted Trixie, running towards Blitz.

“Trixie? You swore not to tell anypony!”

“I came to save you, Blitz!”

“Blitz,” called Dusk Shine. “Is Posey here?”

“No, it didn’t work. Posey didn’t materialize.”

“Will somepony tell me what’s going on here?” asked Artemus, very annoyed.

“Whatever it is, I say we shut it down and alert the authorities,” said Mac.

“Me too, Mac,” agreed Trixie. “It’s much too dangerous.”

“You’re nothing but a rotten traitor,” said Blitz.

“No more than you are, Rainbow, dear.”

“That’s it, Shine,” Artemus said to Dusk Shine. “Kill this thing immediately and come with me.”

“No,” replied Dusk Shine, entering more code into the computer.

“What are you doing?” asked Artemus.

“I’m launching a new program. With a little luck, it’ll work.”

“Dusk Shine,” said Caramel, “what program?”

At that moment, he entered the program. “Return to the past, now!” A wondrous pillar of white light appeared suddenly out of the center of the room and began swallowing the entire world in a dome of the same light.

To be continued...

(Again, I’d never do that to you. XD #troll)

Coltic courtyard.

Rarity levitated her soup from the vending machine and began stirring it. She was walking off when she saw Caramel and Blitz and had sudden deja vu. “What happened?” asked Blitz.

“We were doing this yesterday,” said Rarity. “You don’t think...” She trailed off as Dusk Shine walked over to the vending machine.

“Starswirl,” said Caramel, “you really are a genius. That program of your’s, it works.”

“What’s that?” asked Dusk Shine, seeming kind of detached.

“Don’t tell me you've forgotten about the supercomputer and Lyoko... and my purple cat costume.”

“What?” asked Dusk, turning around with surprise. “How do you know about the supercomputer and Lyoko?”

“Weird,” commented Rarity. “The return in time must have wiped his memory.”

Blitz tossed his soup to the side and guided Dusk Shine to his dorm. “Come on, we’ll explain everything.” The other ponies followed.

Dusk Shine’s dorm. Later that night.

“But why wouldn't I remember anything?” asked Dusk Shine after the explanation of what happened-or what never really happened-over the past few days-or the next few days.

“Maybe it’s because you were the only one who wasn’t virtualized,” said Rarity.

“Then tonight, I’m going to the factory and scanning myself.”

“No, Dusk Shine,” replied Posey. “We need to shut down the supercomputer and you know it.”

“But... Posey.”

“Fluttershy,” she corrected.

“Huh?”

“When I entered the tower I remembered my name.”

“‘Fluttershy,’” repeated Dusk Shine. “I like that name better than Posey.”

“But we still need to shut down the supercomputer,” said Blitz.

“I still need to materialize Fluttershy, though. Give me one more night to figure it out. That’s all I need.”

“Fine,” replied Blitz. “Come on, everypony, let’s get going.”

Blitz, Caramel, and Rarity left the room together and began walking down the hall when they were suddenly stopped by Trixie, who was wearing the same red dress from the other night-or that night... (Gah! Writing the end of this chapter is giving me a headache!) “Rainbow Blitz!” she shouted. “Where have you been? I have never been stood up like that.”

“Well, there’s a first time for everything,” Blitz replied. “Now leave me alone. I’m with my friends.” He then trotted off with the others.

“I’ll make you pay for this, Blitz!” Trixie shouted. “Do you hear me?”

“I get the feeling that Trixie is going to give us a lot of grief,” said Caramel.

The factory. The next night.

“Hi,” Rarity said to Dusk Shine. “So, have you found anything?”

“Yeah,” Dusk replied. “Discord.”

“Discord?” asked Caramel. “What’s that?”

“A super deadly computer program, like a virus,” replied Fluttershy. “It controls electricity and activates towers on Lyoko to gain access to your world, feeding off of the chaos and despair that his attacks cause for ponies.”

“Only Fluttershy can counter it by deactivating the towers it uses in its attacks. She’s actually connected to Discord, so she and she alone has the power to combat him. Once I materialize her, I can shut down the supercomputer, but it will take time to do so, and Discord could attack at any time.”

There was a pause, then Rainbow Blitz spoke up. “I guess we could go for it. After all, we know how to counter Discord’s attacks, now.”

“Besides,” added Caramel, “it sounds like it will be fun.”

The ponies then turned to Rarity. “It’s risky,” she said, “but I think we should at least try.” With everypony in agreement, the ponies, including Fluttershy, began cheering, ringing in their new life of adventure, danger, and heroics...

(I’m going to skip the ENTIRETY of season 1 except for the last two episodes because they’re all inconsequential to the story. I’ll also be chopping episodes from season 2 and 3, as well. At the end of season 3, that’s where this fic will end and a sequel fic will begin. And yes, I already have somepony in mind to be William...)
