"Hey there! Welcome to A-a-appleloosa!" The yellow stallion greeted Lily warmly with a huge, cheerful grin plastered on his face. Lily chuckled softly as the yellow stallion talked non-stop about himself and Appleloosa.
"E-excuse me? Do you know where the Apple Cider inn is? Lily asked sweetly as the yellow stallion nodded proudly and led Lily into town, a adventure just awaiting for both ponies.

Miss.Stella...you have won!!" The judge pony annouced as the audience cheered as loud as they could with happiness. The other contestians bowed their heads in defeat as 'Stella' leapt for joy. The judges handed her 1,000 bits and a free vacation. The news reporter snapped a picture of 'Stella' as he smiled approvingly. After the gameshow 'Stella' sighed unhappily as she gazed dreamily out of the limo window. Little did any of the gameshow hosts that she was THE daughter of Princess Trixie and Prince Blueblood and her real name was Princess Lily the changling princess.

Lily was a wonderful princess and all of Equestria knew and loved her dearly. Nopony knew she was a changling except her loving and understanding parents and her students. Lily was also a school teacher who cared about her students as if they were all her childern, Lily joined the gameshows as a earth pony named 'Stella' when she was really an alicorn. Lily hated having to decieve everypony but unforunately the paparazzi could never get enough of Lily. Why would they chase her like that? Lily questioned herself as she gazed puzzled at herself in the mirror. Her magnifiecent sky blue eyes were still the same. Her long beautiful, multi-colered mane had the same blue, yellow, and crisp orange colors, Same. Her tail and snow-white coat were the same, even her wings and horn were the same. Lily shook her head as everything was the same as she gazed down sadly at her cutie mark, it was a bright, pink heart with angel wings on the heart as if it would just fly off her flank.

"Lily, honey are you okay?" Lily's mother, Trixie called kindly as Lily called back,

"Yes, Mother!" Lily called back, her lungs burned from having to scream so loud just so her mother would hear her. The Cantorlot castle was GIGANTIC as everypony had to holler so it could echo off of the walls. Lily trotted swiftly back into her room as she collapsed on her velvet-purple bed in a heap of excaustion. As Lily was drifting off to sleep, something caught her eye. It was that free vacation paper as Lily eagerly tore open the envelope with her magic horn. Lily began reading the paper as excitement glistened in her eyes. When she finally read where she was going she screamed with delight that quickly echoed in the Castle, almost making Trixie losing her balance and stumble into a chair. Lily grinned with joy as she started to pack, snatching gowns and make-up and stuffing them into her suitcase cheerfully. Lily galloped speeding back and forth in her room, cheering joyful things as she went.

"Lily Lulamoon! What is this?!" Trixie stood in her daughter's doorway with a look of disapproval and anger. Trixie was growing old as she could see gray forming in her mane. Blueblood was the same but right now he was in baltimare making speeches and other buisness.

"Oh mother, read this!" Lily handed her the paper as Trixie scanned over it puzzled. Trixie gasped shocked as Lily smiled proudly.

"It is going to be wonderful!!" Lily squealed cheerfully as Trixie frowned concerned.

"L-lily, honey, are you sure you want to go? What about your students?"
"Oh Aunt Cadence or Auntie Twilight could take care of them" Lily exclaimed happily as Trixie recalled her still, very best friend as she thought about the last week she saw Twilight. Trixie sighed as she replied almost silently,

"I-I just don't want you to get hurt" Trixie bowed her face in defeat as Lily frowned and trotted over to her worried mother.

"Its okay, mom it will only be a couple of days" Lily reassured her as she nuzzled her mother in pure affection and love. Trixie sighed once again and replied reluctantly,

"I guess you can go...YAY!!!" Lily hollered in happiness once again as her mother shook her head in amusement.

"Oh i am going to shopping, and try new foods, and let's not forget attractions!!" Lily exclaimed, frantic with delight. Lily hollered happily,

"Appleloosa here I come!!"

"Hiya, Braeburn!" Josie greeted him cheerfully as Braeburn smiled weakly. Josie obviously knew what was going on as she gave him a look. Braeburn rolled his eyes in amusement as he started to confess to her. Josie was Braeburn's best friend and like any cowpony she was a tough earth pony, but her heart was made of gold. The two ponies met when they were foals as they both became instantly best friends. Josie was a yellow earth pony with a dirt-colored mane which she always kept in pigtails.

"Well, Josie you know how you are going to the western summer celebration with your special somepony, Firecracker?" Braeburn asked as Josie nodded silently listening to him with concern in her bright green eyes.

"W-well i was thinking and...I want a special somepony too" Braeburn explined finally, blushing like mad as Josie blinked not knowing what to say as she just burst into laughter.

"Oh you got me good, Braeburn!" Josie wiped a tear from her eye as Braburn sheepishly replied,

"I-I am serious..." Josie blinked once again astonished as she managed to squeak out,

"Y-your serious?" Braeburn nodded as Josie sighed.

"Braeburn, you don't need a special somepony, besides what will happen to my wild and go-lucky bff?" Josie exclaimed in amusement.

"I will still be the same, Josie, i just want a mare i can be in love with, i would love one to have beautiful eyes" Braeburn smiled dreamily. Josie rolled her eyes as she replied sternly,

"Braeburn, it is not like they're is going to be a mare that will fall out of the sky!!" Just then, one pony burst through the tavern doors in a panic.

"There is a mare here, and it looked like she fell from the sky!" Braeburn gave a smug grin to Josie as he exclaimed in amusement,

"A mare won't fall out of the sky?"
"It was an exaggeration!!" Josie countered firmly as the two ponies trotted quickly out, little did they know the surprise and shock they would both have when they saw who it was.

"Ow my hooves...." Lily groaned as she recalled her ungraceful landing in Appleloosa. Just then, Lily lifted her head weakly as she saw three earth ponies galloping quickly to her as if they were in a panic. Lily smiled sweetly as she could see the ponies more clearly now and she could describe what each one looked like. The first pony looked like a normal pony but the other two caught Lily's eyes, another one of the ponies was a mare with a warm smile on her face. She was a sun-yellow earth pony with a dirt-colored mane tied in a pigtail. Her cutie mark seemed to be lasso to show she was a tough, reckless cowpony. The last pony seemed to be a stallion, and very handsome at that making Lily blush a soft pink. He was a yellow stallion with a somewhat golden mane, he wore a cowpony hat with a leather brown jacket to match. His cutie mark seemed to be an apple which reminded Lily of Auntie Applejack.

"Here we are, the Apple Cider Inn!" Braeburn annouced with a proud grin as Josie followed the two ponies along the way.
"Oh thank you....Um what is your names?" Lily questioned embaressed but Braeburn just chuckled a cute laugh and replied warmly,

"My name is Braeburn, and this is my bff, Josie!" Josie dipped her head in a cheerful greeting as Lily repeated the same to her.

"Now what might be yer' name, little whippersnapper?" Josie asked in her famous country-style voice.

"Oh my name is Lily" Lily exclaimed cheerfully as Braeburn replied in a loving voice,

"A beautiful name for a beautiful mare" Lily's face instantly went bright red as Braeburn smirked. Josie frowned as she couldn't help feeling a pang of envy, but she quickly brushed it off as Braeburn led Lily to her room.

"Wow...." Was all Lily could say as she gazed all around her new room. It was a country-style room (of course) but a very classy look as well. The walls were painted an elegant-looking violet as the floors were old wooden floors that glistened as if they were just polished for her. The bed was snow-white that looked like a fluffy cloud just waiting to be jumped on.

"Do you like it?" Braeburn questioned quietly as Lily started spinning in air as she giggled sweetly.

"Do I like it? I LOVE it!" Lily hollered joyfully as Braeburn chuckled happily. Josie felt another pang of envy but she knew she shouldn't be, and besides Braeburn was just a good friend nothing more. Just then, Josie snapped out of her thoughts as Braeburn started blushing a bright red as he exclaimed almost silently,

"L-lily? Do you want to c-come to dinner tonight at at City Hall?" Josie blinked shocked as she awaited Lily's decision. Lily grinned cheerfully as she replied,

"Of course, I would love to!" Josie scowled in hate at Lily as she was through with stupid Lily trying to steal her best friend. As Lily and Braeburn happily chatted between themselves, blushing now and then Josie conducted a plan in her head to get rid of Lily forever.

"Oh I just don't know what to wear!" Lily groaned frusterated as she collapsed on her cloud-like bed in a heap of sadness. Lily had been searching for HOURS to find a marvelous gown like back home, but unfortunately this was Appleloosa, a wild, anti-elegent place. Lily moaned again this time into her fluffy pillow as tears began to cloud her vision.

"No!!" Lily growled determined not to cry as she lifted herself off the soft bed, another part of her said to just lay there for the rest of the night but Lily ignored it completely as she started to proudly trot down the creaky, wooden steps of the Inn.

"See you later, Miss.Lily" The pony behind the sign-in counter warmly exclaimed, but Lily ignored her lost in her thoughts as she guilty regretted it later. Lily couldn't help being unkind to somepony, she believed that everypony should be treated fairly and kindly. Lily trotted swiftly into town, remembering to not get too caught up in her thoughts to greet ponies as they trotted by.

"Here it is...." Lily exclaimed almost silently to herself as she gazed at the vintage building. Lily stepped carefully inside as she scanned around to see ponies getting fitted for gowns, others were vigorously getting their hooves shined for a special occasion. As Lily still stood in the doorway one mare spotted her as she swiftly trotted over to her.

"Hello, Miss, what would you like today?" The mare hurriedly asked as Lily replied smugly,

"I would like the golden queen special please" The mare blinked in astonishment as she sheepishly replied,

"T-that will be 1,000 bits, Miss" Lily nodded as she dug carefully into her saddle bag. Lily finally handed her a shining golden coin that symbolized 1,000 as the mare gazed at it transfixed.

"R-right this way, Miss" The mare managed to squeak out as Lily cheerfully followed her, a skip in her step. The mare led her into the back room which said "GOOD PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY" in large red letters on the door. Lily grinned joyfully as she gazed fascinated in the room she was led into. The whole room seemed like the designing room Auntie Rarity had but much more broad and grand with a classy, elegant look glimmering off of it. The mare helped Lily step in the center of the designing room as the mare called in other employees. Just then, every mare Lily saw when she trotted into the building began swiftly gathering supplies like fabric, color wheels, and sewing needles and started to immediatly going to work. The mares finally started to sew and work the dress on Lily as she flinched now and again as she could hear the small needle working in and out of her gown. Lily sighed impatiently thinking that she would be standing here for the rest of her life as one of the mares gave her a pleading look to stand still and it was almost done.

"And...Done!" All of the mares stepped back to admire their hard work as one of them handed Lily a large mirror. Lily couldn't believe what she saw, it was pefect. Lily screamed with delight as the mares pouted in disappointment, completely misunderstanding Lily's pure happiness.

"Do you not like it?" The main mare asked unhappily as Lily grinned with joy as she repiled,

"I LOVE it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Lily hollered cheerfully as she hugged the mare in a bone-crushing hug. All of the mares giggled to themselves as Lily knew this was going to be the best night ever.

"Let's do this!" Lily annouced determind as she gazed one last time in the mirror, ready to go to City Hall for Braeburn's celebration dinner. Lily blinked astonished at how diffrent she looked when she was all dressed up, of course, she was always dolled up back home at Cantorlot but just the way the mares at the salon did it was very unique from her usual elegence. Lily cautiously trotted down the steps of the inn as she cheerfully waved goodnight to the pony behind the sign-in counter. Lily hopped inside a marvelous carriage as the stallions sped off with amazing speed as she had no idea what surprises and excitement would await at Braeburn's dinner party at City Hall.

"Oh c'mon....." Braeburn moaned impatiently as he glanced now and then at the slow-motion clock, the clock ticked after one minute which seemed like one hour for him as he groaned again more louder this time.

"Don't worry, Braeburn, she will come" Josie reassured him as the gears in her head were turning in excitement as she thought of her awful plan to get rid of Lily.

"H-hey, Josie, where is Firecracker?" Braeburn asked sheepishly as Josie smirked and replied in a fake sweet tone,

"Oh I broke up with him....I-I found out he cheated on me" Josie fake sniffled being extremely dramatic, but Braeburn put a comforting hoof around her, completely believing that she was telling the truth. The truth is Josie broke up with Firecracker, leaving him in miserable sobs without her. Josie didn't care about Firecracker, all she yearned for was for Braeburn to love her instead of Lily.

Suddenly, all heads snapped in attention to the entrance of City Hall. There was Lily, looking as magnificent as ever as her eyes glimmered with joy, almost making her whole gown shine more brightly. The whole gown was a sun-yellow as it matched her beautiful personility. The gown had a long train that was as long as an apple tree, also around the rims of the gown was white velvet trims. At the chest of the gown was a huge rose, since Lily loved roses and it was her favorite. Braeburn's jaw hung all the way to the floor in pure shock at her ravishing beauty.

"Hi, Braeburn, do you like it?" Lily squealed cheerfully as Josie scowled in utter hate. Braeburn cleared his throat after what seemed like forever and replied joyfully,

"Do I like it? I LOVE it!" The two ponies cracked up in happiness making Josie growl in fury.

"Hi, Josie, wow you look great!" Lily complaimented sweetly as Josie sneered in a snobby way and replied,

"Why thank you, I got it at the best gown designers in Equestria! Certainly better where you got your gown" Lily ignored her rude reply as she just giggled kindly.

"Well I am very certain about that too!" Lily exclaimed cheerfully as Josie blinked puzzled at her response, but before Josie could say another rude comment Lily started to mingle around with the other ponies. After a couple of minutes Lily had gathered all of the ponies for the dinner party, including her gossip mares who were now crowding around her wit her in the middle. All of a sudden, Josie heard all of the ponies sream with laughter and pure amusement at Lily's jokes, even braeburn's whole face was red from laughter. Josie burned with envy as she despisied Lily, as she couldn't wait for the lifeless look on her face when Josie got rid of her forever.

"Okay everypony sit down!" Braeburn called over the long dining table. Everypony became dead silent as Lily almost heard a pin drop. All curious eyes were on Braeburn as he exclaimed in confidence,

"I have called this town dinner for our new guest, please give a warm welcome to Lily!" All of the ponies cheered joyfully for her while Josie scowled in envy at her. Lily blushed a soft pink at all the attention she was getting just for her.

"Now I propose a toast, long live Lily!" Braeburn called once again as he lifted his glass and started to gulp down the apple cider in happiness. Josie eagerly awaited Lily to drink her apple cider and fall dead in a heap of agony from the poison she put in the cider. Just then, as Braeburn was drinking something caught his eye. It was a shadow-like creature creeping up on Lily, Braeburn immediatly sprung into action as he flung Lily out of the way quickly. Lily screeched as her wings spread out as she floated in the air. Everypony started to scream in fear as the shadow-like figure turned into a frighting black unicorn. Josie gazed in fear at the monster as her hooves were paralyzed to the ground, suddenly Lily sprung into action too as she instantly helped everypony out of the building. Meanwhile, Braeburn had lassoed the unicorn to the ground, unfortunately he immediatly galloped off into the black abyss of night.

"He got away!!" Braeburn growled in anger as Lily put a comforting hoof on his shoulder. Braeburn blushed a bright red, he didn't need to look over to see that it was Lily. Josie crept back in City Hall as the other ponies did the same, Lily had saved Josie as she refused she didn't need help. Braeburn and Lily trotted over to Josie as they both trembled in fear. As everypony sat down again Braeburn called loudly, his voice cracking in terror,

"Please everypony, let's not be afraid and let us celebrate Lily once again!" Everypony cheered joyfully once again as they all pretended like nothing happened. As Lily was having fun and making friends, Josie glared at her in fury, furious that her plan didn't work. Josie muttered evil things to herself as she finally gasped in excitement, she had another evil plan, that was even better and would work fullproof.

"H-hello?" Josie called out into a black abyss of her dream. Josie recalled falling asleep in her bed but she would never have thought she would dream of something like this. She was trotting into, or what seemed like a shadow-like forest. The forest had an extremely eerie look as Josie scanned her surroundings in utter fear and distress. The trees were ghost-like while the tops of the trees were thin and had violet slime drenched all over them.

"Greetings....." A voice purred in a spooky way while Josie trembled in terror as she gulped.

"Oh no need to be afraid!" The voice cried cheerfully again as a figure stepped out of the shadows. He was the black unicorn from City Hall! Josie gasped in relization as he nodded smugly.

"I see you recall me, what a clever mare you are!" He replied smoothly as he circled Josie all the way around. Josie gulped and became tense as he circled her all the way around.

"Well now, Josie I have been keeping quite a good watch over you and I believe you are trying to get rid of this Lily mare" The black unicorn finally exclaimed in a smart tone. Josie vigorously nodded, happy to see that somepony cared of her plans. The black unicorn curled his lips in a sly grin as he replied in a smug tone,

"I think I have a clever idea for you, a VERY clever idea".

Wow, Josie you are a very unique mare!" King Sombra grinned slyly as Josie's eyes sparkled with joy as she replied with happiness,

"Really?" King Sombra nodded sincerely as Josie blushed a deep red, he obviously saw her blush from him as he smiled a little bigger. Just then, the dark, eerie forest started to get blurry and hard to see.

"What is going on?!" Josie called loudly as if Sombra was 100 miles away.

"Its alright, Josie I shall see you tonight in your dreams!!" Josie woke up with a start as she sighed in sorrow. King Sombra had told her what to do to get rid of Lily but she wasn't sure it was worth it. Josie thought for a second, lying in her bed in deep thought as she grinned in a fierce, evil way. Was she growing soft? No, not at all and I WILL get rid of Lily FOREVER.

"I had the most WONDERFUL day with you, Braeburn.....Can we do this tomorrow?" Lily asked sweetly, her eyes glistened with love for Braeburn. The two love birds had taken a marvelous trip around Appleloosa, exploring and having fun around town. At the end of the day the two stood outside of the Apple Cider Inn as they both gazed lovingly into each others magnificent eyes. Braeburn nodded a "yes", lost in a loving daze. Just then as Braeburn would never have thought Lily would do this she kissed Braeburn lightly but sweetly on the cheek. Braeburn's whole face went as red as an apple as Lily giggled cutely.

"Goodnight, Braeburn...." Lily whispered kindly as she stepped inside the Inn, leaving a blushing Braeburn standing outside, eyes wide with shock as he stood as still as a statue. When Braeburn made sure Lily had gone inside for the night he let out a joyful scream that echoed through Appleloosa all the way to the end of town. Braeburn trotted merrily to his shack, a spring in his step as he went along in the cold, dark time of night. Oddly enough, the night didn't seem pitch-black at all now that Lily actually had feelings for him. As Braeburn reached his shack he sighed in relief and whispered cheerfully under his breath,

"Best night ever...."

"Come one, come all! Tonight witness Josie's circus of delight!!" Josie called in happiness as she handed out papers to locals and tourist ponies trotting back. This was all Josie's plan to get rid of Lily to host a circus and let Lily volunteer wheather she likes it or not, and while she was volunteering Josie would 'accidently' realease the manticore cage on her. It was foolproof! Just then, as Josie was thinking about her nasty plot the shierff started to trot over to Josie.

"Hiya, Shierff, do ya want to come tonight?" Josie handed the shierff a paper as he shook his head 'no'. Josie was puzzled as she drew the paper back to her and replied in a sweet, innocent way,

"Why shierff, is there somethin wrong?"
"I am afraid there is, Josie, the problem is I think you are just trying to get back with young Firecracker there!" The shierff explained as he frowned in suspison. Josie faked gasped in shock as she replied,

"M-me?! Why I would never do that! After what he done to me I will never forgive him!" The shierff sighed sadly as he nodded.

"I know that, Josie, and your a very sweet mare, probably the best one in Appleloosa!....But I am just afraid that it is true..." The shierff bowed his head in defeat as he explained his troubles. Josie put a comforting hoof on his shoulder and smiled in a fake reassuring way.

"Its okay, shierff, I promise yer' I would NEVER do such a thing" Josie smiled sweetly as the shierff nodded in belief as he said goodbye to her and trotted quickly off. Josie grinned slyly as she whispered to herself in a villanous way,

"Oh don't worry, shierff I will do something even MORE bad that you would never have imagined".
