Falling free
Dash what are you doing out here you know that the Everfree forest can be unpredictableI thought to myself but I had to get away to think about some things that were going on. As I traveled on it keep getting darker and darker,but what was this about I had left early in the morning so it should be about noon.As I looked up a flash of lightning shot through the air. I ran for my life, never in all of Equestria had I seen a storm that had green clouds and orange lighting. Maybe I could make it to zecora's from here? The clouds just kept coming a I galloped towards zecora's. Crack! I was falling, down deeper and deeper into the ground while the earth above me closed.
'you idiot ' was what is was screaming in my head 'you buried yourself alive' thump,my body hit the ground I felt a pain shoot through my leg as I tried to move form the position I was in. When realizing that my efforts were useless and not getting me anywhere I laid back letting the darkness take over my body.
When I awoke my eyes were filled with the most beautiful mare I had ever seen, she look of mist. OH MY SONIC RAINBOOM she was made of mist ,her body was aquamarine and her Mane the color of diamonds. Oh princess Celestia she was beautiful.
" welcome Philly you have come a long ways to find what you are seeking for ." She grinned
"What do you mean " I questioned her
" In time, for now child rest" she instructed as she floated away
As I looked about I realized that she was not the only pony of her type in the room,but more were floating about checking graphs and charts and checking my leg, but oh did it hurt! As I looked down a scar about 20 inches deep and bone showing also most made me want to faint. I held my mouth keeping the pain inside,As they treated my leg with the power of magic. One sweet Philly named Grazioso who was a folly color and and on her flank a cutie mark of a forte, she was my nurse. She gave me a sleeping pill and my eyes started to close I sigh with relief as the pain in my leg started to slip away and I finally slipped Into a sleep.
Grazioso was there when I awoke ,she told me that I would have to get ready to meet the queen. She helped me get my leg into a position so that it would not be in pain. Grazioso led me down to the palace throne room. As we entered the throne room her majesty sparkled like a gem her misty body floating above the ground.
"Welcome child" her voice like a soft and sweet song "I can see that you are a brave warrior and will take on anything that gets in your way"
"I don't understand what you mean I know before I feel into the abyss I had things to figure out but that can't be it" I stammered
"But it is child, you will go out to seek the truth and will sort all your worries out" she explained
"Ok when do I start ?" I yelled with excitement
"When you have figured put where you have to go to fine your thoughts" she told me
Grazioso led me back to my new room . She rewrapped my bandages as I pondered. "Think dash were would you start an underground world ."
"Well you could start at mist cove it's where all our kinda go to think." Grazioso whispered
"Oh was I talking out loud sorry ,wait what did you say?" I questioned
" you can start at mist cove it is where the mist ponies get their guidance " she reinstated
" yes" I shouted " will you show me?"
"Yes of course "she said "I always help a friend in need".
"Great when can we start?"I asked
"When you heal" she stated
"Awwwww but that's soooooo long" I whined
After a few days I finally healed and was really excited to start my mission. Grazioso and I started out going trough town it was so slow because grazioso did not have wings so we had to trot. As we left the town and we kept getting closer to the cove it started to get foggier and foggier. " Grazioso where did you go?"
"I'm right here I blend in with the fog, it helps us figure out what we are missing." She whispered
"Oh I see, but how will this help me?" I questioned her
" just believe and the mist will show you what you need " she spoke
I breathed in the fog letting it whisk me away to dream land . The mist showed me Equestria and all my friends then it showed me a crystal cavern. My eyes fluttered open " I know where I'm going first, it is a crystal cavern"
" there is a crystal cavern in the northern realm " Grazioso stated
"Let's go I can't wait to go to the extreme " I shrieked
Grazioso let out a laugh as I sped ahead leaving a rainbow behind me. The closer we got tho the cavern the more excited I got, as we got closer it started to get dark I decided that we would stay where we were for the night.
