The Elements of harmony need to defeat Metanite but a price will have to pay.
7 years after fighting discord, the six brave element wielding ponies might have to sacrifice their lives this time to save equestria after an other ancient evil know as Metanite Destroys Ponyville and kills hundreds. but will the elements defeat Metanite or will they fail?
It was a beautiful day in ponyville. Just like everyday Twilight would get up, make breakfast, and read a little, but today was different. Twilight had gotten up and rushed out the door faster then Dash could fly. The reason twilight was running was because and urgent message from Princess Celestia had popped in just as Twilight was getting ready.
Twilight finally got to sweet apple acres after a few minutes of running to finally run into Applejack who was bucking the apple trees after getting up a few hours before:
"APPLEJACK!" Twilight shouted out in a sort of panicked state.
AJ then stopped bucking and ran full speed towards the lavender pony to see what was the matter.
"What's wrong Sugarcube?" AJ was trying to comfort Twilight who was still breathing heavily from the running.
"AJ. It's the princess. She needs to see all of us at once."
"Alright then. let's go." The 2 ponies then rushed towards Fluttershy's cottage just as she was heading straight for Ponyville.
"Fluttershy." Applejack was with Twilight when she called out to the yellow pony.
"Oh. Hi guys. Whats wrong?"
Twilight then told Fluttershy the same thing and the three ran to Dash's place.
After getting everypony Twilight then zapped them all to Canterlot.
At the Palace Celestia had gotten up from her throne and greeted the six ponies with a worried look on her face. after greeting them Twilight was starting to get worried about what was going on.
"Princess? Why did you call us all here?"
Celestia had then turned to look at the ponies to tell then about why she called them here.
"I have called you all here because another ancient evil know as Metanite has come back to seek revenge on Equestria."
Twilight then looked at Celestia with a defused look on her face.
"What do you mean revenge Princess?"
Celestia then showed them to a secret room filled with stain glass windows showing Metanite destroying everything in his path.
"Metanite is seeking revenge since Me and My sister had encased him in stone over 300 years ago. We thought we had defeated him but recently the statue was destroyed by vandals and because of this the spirit had broke free and will soon take original form and seek revenge on us. you defeated discord 7 years ago, but now this is the biggest challenge you have to face. He is weak now, but in a while he will come to full power and will become near impossible to defeat. Go my little ponies, and defeat him once and for all!"
After the Princess gave them their task they left the palace and headed straight for ponyville.
After a few minutes the six came back to see a shocking discovery. Ponyville was Aflame, Hundreds of ponies were either dead or injured, and half of the shops were destroyed. The ponies then caught a glimpse of Metanite; He was a large dinosaur like creature with large wings, spikes on his back arms and legs, and was shooting bluish red fire from his mouth.
The creature then turned around and looked at the ponies showing and evil grin on his face.
"How do you like it?" The monster snarled, smoke coming from his muzzle.
"I did this as a welcoming home party for you. I saw you with Tia' and I just had to do something for you six."
Dash then raced up to Monster with an angry look on her face.
"LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE! YOU'VE KILLED HUNDREDS OUT OF YOUR OWN AMUSEMENT! LET'S GO! YOU, ME RIGHT NOW!"
Dash then put her hoofs up in a fighting pose jumping all around.
"Dash! What are you doing!? It's no use!"
Twilight was panicked trying to talk Dash down from the huge monster. Dash finally gave in and came back down to the others. Metanite then started to laugh in enjoyment.
"Well, I'm sorry I can't stay for long, but there are a lot of more things I have to do. In the mean time though..."
Metanite then snapped his fingers zapping the ponies to the Everfree Forrest.
"Feel free to roam around here until I get back. By then I'll have regained full power."
Metanite then flew off towards Canterlot wanting to meet the Princess.
Dash then looked at Twilight who was watching Ponyville burn. tears then started to run down her eyes.
"I can't believe it. We just get here and all of a sudden Ponyville is destroyed withing a matter of hours. who knows how long he's been here for."
Pinkie then looked at Twilight.
"I thought the Princess wanted us to use the elements again."
Twilight then hung her head. Tears were now flowing harder.
"It's no use Pinkie. By the time we get back Metanite would have already gained full power."
Dash then looked at Twilight.
"Can't you use the teleportation spell?"
Twilight then looked at the others.
"I can't to get us all back we need one more Unicorn since Rarity doesn't know it!"
Dash was confused.
"But what about when you teleported us all to Canterlot?"
"It's a one time spell. It needs to recharge for the rest of the night to use again, and we can't wait that long."
Rarity then went up to Twilight.
"I know the team teleport spell."
Twilight then looked at Rarity with a confused look on her face.
"How do you know it?"
"Just a few days ago I was reading a book on spells when I came across the teleportation spell. I found out it needed two unicorns so I practiced it just in case."
Twilight then hugged rarity in relief. The two ponies then got together and teleported them all to the library which was still in good condition. Twilight then rushed to the bookshelf and found the elements in her book marked. "DO NOT OPEN UNLESS NEEDED"
Twilight then opened the book giving the ponies their elements; Kindness, Generosity, Loyalty, Laughter, Honesty, and Magic. The ponies then put the elements on and looked at each other. Twilight then spoke first:
"You know If we do find him again. He might have already gained power."
Dash then looked at Twilight confused.
"So what? If he gains full power we can still beat the thing. Just like Discord."
Twilight then sighed.
"You don't get it. If he regains full power. We can still defeat him...But we might have to sacrifice our lives to save the people of Equestria."
The six just stood quiet for a moment. Fluttershy then spoke.
"Alright then."
The others then looked at Fluttershy shocked. Dash then spoke out.
"Y..Your actually willing to put yourself on the line?"
Fluttershy shook her head in agreement before speaking again:
"If that's the way it has to be. Then so be it."
The other ponies were still shocked about Fluttershy's attitude. They have barley seen Fluttershy stand up like this, and hearing that she was willing to get herself killed just sent shock through their bodies. Twilight then bought her head up in agreement.
"Alright then. If fluttershy is willing to die then I am to!"
Dash then agreed also. then Applejack, then Pinkie Pie, then Rarity. Twilight then looked at the others again.
"Just before we go I would like to say I enjoyed hanging out with you all, and all those fun times will always be fun. Let's go"
As the ponies were walking out twilight hugged each and everyone of them one by one until closing the door.
"Lets get going guys. We have a long journey ahead of us."
The ponies then raced all the way to Canterlot for the Battle of a Lifetime, and defeat Metanite once and for all.
