The Iron Solari and The Moonlight Blade

The Radiant Dawn and Scorn of the Moon. Both accepting each one's fate.

The true worth of a soldier lay in her ability to defend and protect, not to harm and kill. These are the words spoken by the one that calls forth the power of the Sun.

The Sun does not reveal truth. Its light only burns and blinds. These are the words spoken by the one that calls forth the power of the Moon.

Having been born and raised in the same soil, in the same teachings, but growing up differently caused such a rip between the two sisters; have they met sooner not later, would have impacted on the way they have to live.

Now in the face of battle, forcing one owns beliefs to the other, and with a wierd twist of fate, they are transported to a new land. A land where both the moon and the sun work together in Unison, will they ever set their differences apart? or will this world suffer?

The Fields of Justice

"Stay behind me! I'll protect you!". Says the woman in an gold clad armor, raising her huge shield to deflect any and all physical attacks, not wavering nor faltering she stands still and within moments the golden shield she bore shined as the morning star, and within moments errupted in a huge flash, blinding all foe in front of her.

"Now is your chance! fall back now!". she screamed. But much to her shock, the allies she was trying to protect lay lifeless in the ground.

"Wha--- how could this happen?". She said, as she knelt to the ground.

"This is a battlefield! stand or die!!". And with that scream came a white light from a distance moving everfast to the golden clad woman. Thanks to the split second warning, the woman of the sun stood up and raised her shield once more, and blocked the incoming attack.

"Moonlight!! Show yourself!". Screamed the woman.

And on the horizon a dark armored woman came, bearing the insignia of the moon. Walking slowly with a scythe in hand glowing a bright white, she suddenly dissappears, and as quickly, she reappeared infront of the golden armored woman, whispering in her ears.

"Come now, Sunlight. To arms!!". She shouted suddenly, as she swung her scythe, but as like a wake up call, Sunlight pushed Moonlight with the face of her shield with such force that it dazzeled moonlight for a good few seconds, But not enough to make an opening. But with Sunlight's huge armor she was not able to connect a follow through fast enough, and with Moonlight's speed she quickly dodge the following attack.

"Sister! why are you doing this?" asked Sunlight with concern in her eyes.

Moonlight did not reply, she only readied her scythe and changed her stance, raising the scythe into the air and as if slicing through the air directed at Sunlight, another bright white light came out of the scythe approaching Sunlight faster than ever before. But this time Sunlight was ready for the attack and guarded it with ease.

"Foolishness, Sunlight, foolishness...." Said Moonlight as she readied another attack, but this time from another angle. "This is a battlefield!, your pityful questions does not belong here! To arms sister! ready thy shield! or your life I will take!!".

With Moonlight's strong statement, her scythe glowed a very strong white light as strong as a full moon's shine, as she raised it above her head. On the other side, Sunlight, which showed much dissapointment in her face, repositioned her self and raised her shield and it glowed a golden light asstrong as the morning light.

As if an indecator to start the duel, A bright light enveloped the two sisters, and without a moment to waste, they charged head on with glowing weapons by their side, One that holds the Light and Darkness of the Moon, the other, The Warm and Brightness of the Sun. And with a large explosion, they collided and dissapeared, What was left of there clash was huge crevace.

....My Child of the Moon....

....My Child of the Sun....

....Why do you judge?....

....Why do you fight?....

....Lies?....

....To Protect?....

....You are sisters, are you not?....

....Will you reach her?....

....Two Sisters, That do not get along?....

...Two Sisters, That Rule together....

....Luna?....

....Celestia?....

....Help Them....

....Educate Them....

I leave them in your care

"Sister, they have arrived" said the black alicorn to the white Alicorn standing at the veranda and gazing upon her loyal subjects.

"I see...." was all the white Alicorn could say looking a bit concerned.

"Is there something troubling you sister?" Said the black alicorn with much concern.

"Will we be able to do it Luna?" Said the white Alicorn, loosing her cool. "I mean, We barely know them and----"

"Stop right there sister," Said Luna cutting her sister off mid speach. "It is not like you to panic like this sister, Who was it that forgave me for my mistakes from the past? was it not you? surely they are now different?"

"You're right Luna, I apologize, they are our "sisters" and they need all the help they can get" Said the white alicorn as she recovered her cool. "Gather the Wonderbolts! and order them to search all of equestria!".

"Right away sister" said Luna as a smile grew on her face. "And one more thing, Tia?"

"Yes, Luna?"

"Please, don't steal my cakes again?"

"Right....hehe..sorry"

And with that, Luna set forth and order for the Wonderbolts to search equestria for two creatures who are not a native in there land. The Wonderbolts asked a question on how they will recognize them, Luna answered them in a most simpler yet confusing information.

"One will symbolize the Moon, You will recognize it immidiately, a certain aura of the night." said Luna with a gentle smile as if this person is someone so close to her.

"The other" Added Celestia, as she suddenly appeared infront of them. "One that symbolized the Sun, with a warmness as the morning sun.

The wonderbolts were both confused and yet satisfied with the answer of the two royal sisters. One thing is for sure, they will feel that it is them when they see them, remembering they're rulers, the warmth of the morning, and the cool gentle breeze of the night. And with that they set out, as if searching for the two princessess themselves.

"Sister, I will alse ask my personal guards to search for them, when night comes." said Luna as she slowly trotted away and back to her chambers.

"I see, Thank you Luna" said Celestia with a smile. "I hope we find them soon"

"Should we ask the Elements of Harmony for help?" Added Luna.

"No, they have an important task ahead of them, Even Shining and Cadence will be very busy."

"Indeed, The crystal Empire is in their hands, We will be the once solving this problems ourselves" said Luna.

Meanwhile, in the Everfree forest, Moonlight lay in a small crevase surrounded with fallen trees and branches, Unconscious, She dreamt the time that she was betrayed by her elders and deemed her a heritic for believing on the powers of the night and the Moon, saying that the Sun is absolute. Sentenced to death and Ignored her pleas and self discovery. Hatred grew inside of her. The light of the Sun will blind you from the truth, The gentle light of the Moon will guide you, will ease the pain of the buring light of the sun.

And With a certain realization, Moonlight woke up with tears in her eyes and made another crevase, clearing any and all trees around her.

"They would not listen..." said Moonlight with tears in her eyes. "I cannot turn back"

The Walking Moon

Writer's Notes: Hi everyone! 1st of all I would like to thank all of you for taking the time to read this fanfic of mine. As you may have noticed, English isn't really my 1st language and thus I have a difficulty with words and grammars and stuff, I'm not saying that I ARE IZ BAD GRAMMAR WOWO, It's just that I kinda struggle with this things. But Enough with that.

Left, right, up, down. Whichever direction Moonlight looked is different from where she was before. She was now 100% sure that this place is not the place where she used to tread.

"Where in the world am I?" Asked Moonlight to herself as she blindly walked forward in this dark and damp forest. At first, she thought that she was just teleported to safety, a good few miles, But she never knew that she would get teleported to a different world all in all.

"I still don't have the hang of my own power, I'm pathertic" said Moonlight with a huge grin. "Still, if move forward, I might get out of here. Wait, better yet, I need to find high ground and check how big this forest really is."

And so Moonlight walked and walked, searching for higher ground because the trees in the area don't seem sturdy enough to climb. and gives an awfully scary feeling that she should not touch it. For hours she walked, she even tried to summon the powers of the moon, but to no avail, it seems that the forest itself is covered with some form of magic that restrains her from acquiring power from the moon, her last burst of power was when she woke up, after that she can neither summon an offensive beam of moonlight nor teleport very far.

"This isn't getting any better, and it seems that the wildlife here are getting a bit wilder. I really need to find some sort of shelter soon, I cant defend properly at my current state."

With that said, Moonlight picked up her pace as she was sensing the killing intent of the animals, even the trees around her. In some wierd luck she stumbled upon multiple wooden signs saying: "To Tartarus!", "Beware of Dog/s". But the most peculiar sign she has saw was:

"Incase anypony is brave enough to venture inside

meet me in ponyville! I would so love to explore what's inside and study them!"

PS: I live in the town library, If i'm not home, tell my assistant, either the baby dragon or the owl.

All Moonlight could do was raise an eyebrow, passing it off as a joke, I mean, Come on! "Dog/s"?, The one that put it up was not even sure if it is multple dogs or just one, cleary this is a prank of some sort by kids who wish to try to scare anyone who would tresspass on their tree house or secret spot or whatever. But if this "Tartarus", is some sort of shelter even if it's just a tree house, then it is good enough to rest in, just enough to wait for things to settle down, besides there are wooden signs with arrows that might lead to this "ponyville". Gambling on her odds, would not be wise in this unknown region she is currently in, so she chose to follow the signs leading to this "Tartarus".

Treading ever so fast to the direction of this "Tartarus" she will find out why this "Twilight Sparkle" could not figure out if to put just one dog or multple dog in the sign because, what lay infront of Moonlight was a sleeping giant three headed dog that was magically leashed to a tree.

"Now I now why Dog/s was put there, It's one dog with three heads, cute" Said Moonlight as cold sweat starts to appear. Good thing the dog is asleep, she thought to herself. But even as this lay infront of her, she did not panic, she thought of panicing though, due to the lack of power she currently possess but, if she had regained her powers, this mere dog will be no challenge at all. But one thing caught the eyes of Moonlight even more so than the dog. It was the huge spiral building it was guarding, it was so huge that it pierced through the trees itself and onto the sky.

"So this is Tartarus, Interesting" said Moonlight in a quiet tone as to not wake up the sleeping three headed dog. "I need to get in there, my only chance of survival is atop that building where the moon shines, I just need to get past this dog without waking it"

With much conviction and the fact that she is running out of time due to the killing intent creeping in closer and closer, Moonlight mustered up all of her remaining strenght to her scythe and raised it above her head. The scythe she held in her hands glowed a faint light, covering her whole body, and in a fast curving motion, she swung her weapon in the direction of the door and bright white light approched the door in a crecent arc avoiding the three headed dog and reaching the door, and in an instant, the light pulled her along to the direction she swung and she was infront of the door soon after the light faded from her scythe.

"I'm glad I still had that much power left" she said whispering to herself. "I just need to get inside now, and rest a good few."

As Moonlight slowly entered the door inside Tartarus, she bore witness what was inside the huge spiral castle. Doors, Lots and lots of doors covered the side of the huge building, but the most notable part of the building was the spiral staircase. It was so long that even she cannot phatom how long it is till the very top. But she could not think clearly anymore, Moonlight's fatigue was starting to creep in, all of the energy she had left was starting to vanish, she does not care anymore, she is safe from outside, rest, rest is the only thing in her mind right now. And with that, she lay on the floor and closed her eyes while hugging her weapon, drifting into a sound sleep, not noticing the huge dark violet door slowly opening and the sound of hooves getting louder and louder.

"Oh my, I never would expect myself to be the one to find 'her', how amusing" said the black alicorn.
