Sprout meets the dragons with his mother Phyllis and his friends, but the dragons aren’t sure if they could forgive him for what he did in the past.
Shortly after trying to apologize to everypony in Maretime Bay for what he did to Sunny’s lighthouse, the ponies deny his apology. Thanks to Sunny, the Mane 6 have the idea to take Sprout and his mother Phyllis to the Isle of Scaly for their encounter with the dragons to prove that Sprout can be trustworthy again.
Chapter 1: Sprout’s apology/Ponies quickly deny his apology/On the Marestream/Sprout’s backstory
In Maretime Bay, the ponies were enjoying a very sunny day. Everypony except Sprout, who still hasn’t been forgiven by the ponies after what he did to Sunny’s lighthouse. Just then, his mother Phyllis Cloverleaf arrives to have an important conversation with him.
“Oh, hi mommy.” Sprout said to his mom. “Nice of you to drop by, I guess.”
“Hey Sprout.” Phyllis replied. “Listen, I know you did a lot of bad things especially with what you did to Sunny’s lighthouse. Thank hoofness it’s rebuilt now.”
“Yeah, that’s a good sign.” Sprout said. “What is it that you want me to do?”
“I just talked with Hitch today,” Phyllis said. “And he said that you should try to apologize to everypony again for what you did wrong.”
Upon hearing this, Sprout was shocked. “Really? But what if they don’t want to forgive me? Mom, this has to be a joke.”
“Sadly it’s not, son.” Phyllis replied, looking up at his son. “I know what you did was very wrong, but I think it’s best if you apologize to everypony, and if they don’t forgive you this time, then there’s nothing I can do to help you anymore.”
Sprout let out a sad sign. “Okay. mommy.” he said.
Later, Sprout and his mother went outside to meet up with everypony in Maretime Bay, and he gave out the apology. “Listen, everypony.” he started. “I know you are still mad at me for what I did, even you the most Sunny. But listen, I’m very sorry for what I did. I turned into a emperor and caused a whole load of trouble. Hoof to heart, I’m very sorry. PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!!” He tried his best to keep still, with his mother by his side.
The ponies then gave out negative comments on the apology. “Really?” Dahila asked.
“After what you did to us?” Toots said angrily.
“Not even me and my Pippsqueaks forgive you Sprout.” Seashell said, with Peach Fizz and Glory by her side.
The other ponies either booed, jeered, said more negative comments, or threw their stuff onto Sprout.
“Everypony wait.” Sunny said, trying to get the ponies to calm down.
“Stop right there, everypony.” Hitch said, rounding up his critters and Sparky.
“Oh no. Poor Sprout.” Misty said, looking at Sprout.
“Come on Zipp, we need to stop them.” Pipp said, while she was filming everything and with Zipp by her side.
“Right behind you sis.” Zipp said, as the sisters help out Sunny.
“Everypony stop.” Izzy said, looking sad.
“Oh dear.” Phyllis said, looking as shocked as the Mane 6 are.
Sprout was not only as shocked as his mother and the Mane 6, but also was speechless by what he had just saw.
In their efforts to calm the ponies down, Sunny turns into an alicorn, while Hitch, his critters and Sparky use a megaphone from the sheriff’s station. Zipp and Pipp investigate some of the ponies’ wrongdoing, and Izzy, Misty, Sprout and Phyllis use their earth pony and unicorn magic to bring the ponies back where they were.
Sunny had to think of something fast. “I have an idea. Remember where we went to the Isle of Scaly?” she asked.
“The Isle of what?” Sprout asked. “Me and mommy never been there before.”
“The Isle of Scaly, duh!” Pipp said. “That’s where our dragon friends live.”
“Spike is the dragon lord there.” Zipp said. “And we teamed up with them to stop Opaline, thank hoofness she’s gone.”
Hitch saw Sparky excitingly jump up and down. “I think Sparky is very excited to go back there.” he said. “Okay, that’s enough excitement for now Sparky. Save it for when we get there.”
“I think it’s a great place for you to enjoy yourself in.” Misty said as she looked up at Sprout. “You and Phyllis are gonna love it there, trust me.”
“The dragons are super friendly. Especially Luxxe. She’s so cool and cute.” Izzy said as she smiled.
“Come on Sprout, you’re gonna love it as much as me.” Phyllis said.
“Alright mommy. Let’s give this Isle of Scaly a visit.” Sprout said.
“Okay. To the Marestream, everypony.” Sunny said, as she, her friends, Sprout and Phyllis board the flying vehicle.
Once on the Marestream and as soon as the flying vehicle took off, Pipp recorded a message of herself on her phone with her followers. “Hey Pippsqueaks, this is the final message to you for a while because the Isle of Scaly has no signal, but I’ll be back to share with you folks later. See ya, Bye.”
Misty sat down next to Sprout. “Okay Sprout, you’ve got a friend next to you. Okay, like you, I did bad things in the past, like dragon-napped Sparky, and then trapped Pipp and Zipp in the caves and kinda stole Sunny’s lantern from the Brighthouse, but I was forced to do all of those things so Opaline can become more powerful, but my friends Hitch, Izzy, Pipp, Zipp, and Sunny were there for me.” She told Sprout her story about her past.
“Really? Aw, Misty.” Sprout said, as he and Misty share a hug together. “I would never forget the time where I turned into an emperor and built and crashed a robot pony I made into Sunny’s lighthouse.” he told Misty his story about his past.
“That’s just as bad as me but yours was a lot worse.” Misty said.
“Yeah. My mom didn’t forgive me for weeks, until she forgave and trusted me again, but not so much for the ponies.” Sprout said. “I was then sentenced to community service for a while until I could be trusted again.”
“It’s so sad, in fact, really sad.” Misty said.
The Marestream approached the tunnel that leads to the Isle of Scaly. Sprout and Phyllis looked in awe. “Wow.” Sprout said.
“Whoops, it’s gonna be a hard left.” Zipp said.
“Uh-oh.” Sprout said.
“Look out everypony.” Phyllis cried. “Hold on tight.”
“Hold on to your cutie marks.” Sunny said.
Everypony screamed as Zipp made a hard left that tilted ponies to the side as well as freaking Sprout and Phyllis out.
Chapter 2: Landing in the Isle of Scaly/Sprout and Phyllis meet the dragons/Riding on each dragon/Sprout gets some advice from the dragons
Once out of the tunnel, the Mane 6, Sprout and Phyllis can see sights of the Isle of Scaly. Sprout and Phyllis were shocked. “So this is the Isle of Scaly.” Sprout said. “Mommy, look how beautiful this place is.”
“It sure does Sprout.” Phyllis said. “Look at the view from right here in the Marestream.”
“I wish I could snap some aerial shots from here but there’s no signal here.” Pipp said. “I will not try to freak out about that.”
“That’s my little sister.” Zipp said.
The ponies land the Marestream as Sprout and Phyllis gaze up on the place. “Wow. Look at how amazing this place is from the outside.”
“I can’t believe we’re back.” Sunny said. “Let’s find us a dragon.”
“HELLO!!!” Izzy called out.
Just then, all of the dragons land at the ponies’ presence.
“Well guess who decided to come back?” Spike said, as he and the other dragons approach the Mane 6, Sprout and Phyllis. “Nice to see you again Sunny, and you too little one.” He looked down at Sparky.
“Well, who are these two ponies?” Blaize asked.
“I’m Phyllis Cloverleaf, and right next to me is my son Sprout.” She introduced herself and Sprout. “Who are you dragons?”
“The name’s Blaize Skysong.” the pinkish red dragon said. “And this is Luxxe, Leaf, Tumble, Fountain, Lava, Jade, and Spike.”
“It’s sure nice to meet you.” Sprout said.
“It’s sure nice to meet you too.” Luxxe said.
“So what brings you here?” Leaf asked.
“Long story short, but we’ve came here because of my son not being trusted by other ponies because of what he did in the past.” Phyllis said.
“I did learn my lesson after serving my community service.” Sprout said. “But ponies still think that I never deserve to be forgiven.”
“Shall we ride on you first before you explain everything?” Phyllis asked.
“Please?” Sprout asked.
“Sure, you’ll love it.” Tumble said.
“Yeah, you’ll absolutely love it you’ll go insane.” Lava said.
“You’ll love it very much.” Fountain said.
“Very much.” Jade said.
“Well come on everypony, let’s fly.” Sunny said.
“Come on Sprout and Phyllis.” Lava said. “Hop on us and we’ll give you the ride of your life.”
Within minutes, the eight ponies had settled onto the back of the dragon of their choice:

“Ready mommy?” Sprout asked.
“I sure am Sprouty boy.” Phyllis replied.
“Okay. Here we go. Let’s fly.” Leaf said.
The dragons then took the ponies for a little dragon ride around Scaly. “Wheeeeeeeeee! Mommy, this is fun.” Sprout said.
“You said it son of mine.” Phyllis said.
“Now I know why this place is so much fun to explore.” Sprout replied.
“I’m glad you and your mother came with us to explore around here Sprout.” Misty said to his friend.
“Okay, that’s enough flying for now.” Spike said.
“Great idea Spike.” Sunny said.
The dragons then land back where they were. The ponies then thanked them for the ride. “Hoof to heart, dragons.” Sprout said, as he and the dragons hoof-bump each other.
“Now as I said,” Sprout said. “Me, mommy and my friends came here because the other ponies back in Equestria still won’t trust me because of what I did in the past.”
“Luckily, Misty was there with him where it all happened.” Phyllis said.
“It can be quite hard to trust somepony for the horrible things they did in the past.” Spike said. “Starlight Glimmer learned that lesson the hard way during Twilight Sparkle’s time.”
“Um, your Spikeness?” Blaize asked as she raised her claw. “Who’s Starlight Glimmer?”
“Is she another one of Twilight Sparkle’s friends?” Sunny asked.
“Yes.” Spike replied, then continued his story. “Twilight told me everything about her. She enslaved a whole entire village free of cutie marks and took my friends’ cutie marks when they went to her village.”
“Like Opaline?” Zipp asked. “I was continuously wondering on how she would steal everypony’s cutie marks including us. No wonder why we couldn’t stop her at first. She was acting just like Starlight Glimmer before she met Twilight and her friends, but a whole lot worse.”
“So what’s the advice you dragons want to give me?” Sprout asked. “I don’t want ponies rioting on me anymore.”
“Well, I just don’t want you to do the things that you did to those ponies ever again.” Spike said to Sprout.
“Yeah, he’s right.” Misty said. “After what you told me in the Marestream about your horrible past, I now feel sorry for you, Sprout.”
“Same thing with me.” Phyllis said.
“And us.” Sunny said.
The ponies and dragons then started to cry and shred tears all around Sprout. Everypony and dragon could now trust Sprout again, and his mother Phyllis comforted him, as well as the Mane 6 and the dragons.
“Thanks mommy, thanks everypony and everydragon.” Sprout said.
“Let’s say we fly back shall we?” Phyllis said. “We’ll fly in the Marestream.”
“Say, you want to come with us?” Sunny asked.
“Great idea.” Leaf said. “I’m excited to come with you.”
“Same thing with me.” Tumble said.
“And me.” Fountain said as well.
“Don’t forget about me.” Luxxe said.
“Me too.” Blaize said.
“And me as well.” Lava said.
“Don’t forget me.” Jade said. “I wanna come.”
“It seems like all of us are in on this, Sprout. Come on dragons, we’re coming with these ponies.” Spike said happily.
“Aw, yeah.” Pipp said. “I just want my signal back now.”
“Don’t worry Pipp. We’ll have your signal back in no time.” Hitch said. “Meanwhile for you Sprout, me and Zipp have a song for you.”

Chapter 3: Ponies and dragons fly back to Maretime Bay/Ponies question Sprout again/Sprout’s apology: Part 2/Ponies forgive Sprout/A dragon party for Sprout
The Mane 6, Phyllis and Sprout (on the Marestream) and the dragons fly back to Maretime Bay.
“We’re back home.” Pipp said. “Now to show these ponies our dragon friends.”
“Uh, not now sis.” Zipp said. “We’re here because Sprout needs to apologize to everypony again, but we have his back and his mother and the dragons are with us too, so technically, you could do that.”
The ponies and dragons walk over to Maretime Bay, where the ponies question Sprout again for his horrible past. Luckliy for Phyllis and the dragons, they’re by his side, and so are the Mane 6.
“Okay, Sprout. Ready to say you’re sorry again?” Phyllis asked his son.
“But mommy, what if the ponies-“ Sprout tried to say, but his mother cuts him off.
“Don’t worry my son. If our friends and the dragons trust you, then so can everypony else.” Phyllis said.
“Alright everypony, let’s hear Sprout say that he’s sorry.” Hitch commanded, and the ponies came along as soon as Hitch told them to.
“Hey everypony.” Sprout said.
“What’s he doing back here?” Sweets said.
“Get him outta here!” Toots said.
“Get him out!” The ponies chanted.
Phyllis and the Mane 6 were shocked, and so were the dragons. “ROAR!!!” The dragons roared very loudly.
“Thank you dragon friends!” Sunny said. “Now Sprout, continue.”
“Everypony, listen to what Sprout has to say.” Phyllis said.
“Listen everypony, I really am very sorry for what I did in the past, you see, some good friends reminded me about not doing what you did in the past, Sunny, Izzy, Hitch, Zipp, Pipp, Misty, Spike, Leaf, Luxxe, Tumble, Fountain, Blaize, Lava, and Jade too. Even my own mommy Phyllis was there with me.” Sprout gave out his speech. “So please, I’m very sorry for what I did to you ponies in the past. Can you ever forgive me?”
“We forgive you Sprout.” Toots said. “That was an awesome speech.”
“Of course we forgive you.” Sweets said as well.
“Pipp Pipp Hooray! Sprout’s forgiven by us.” Seashell said.
“Now he’ll never do bad things ever again.” Glory said.
“I forgive you Sprout.” Peach Fizz said.
“See what happens when you apologize, Sprout? You’ll get forgiven by everypony.” Hitch said.
“Now, who calls for a dragon party?” Tumble asked.
“We do.” Leaf replied.
“And same with us.” Sunny said.
The ponies and dragons organize a dragon party just for Sprout, and Sprout himself couldn’t be happier and happier.
“I think I learned a very important lesson everypony.” Sprout said.
“Sure you did Sprout.” Pipp replied. “And now that the dragons are here, we can par-tay dragon style.”
As Pipp snapped selfies of herself and the Pippsqueaks, Sprout kisses all of the dragons in the cheek, including Sparky, and Zipp and Hitch each kiss in each others’ cheeks for helping out a good friend.
