Spike's brother comes to stay with him. But when he gets a secret Valentine it's time for Blues Clues!!
Inferno has came to stay with Spike! And it's even better when Steve invited them for a Valentine's party! And when Inferno gets a Valentine from a secret admirer it's time to play Blues Clues to figure this out!
In the city of Canterlot we see a 19 year old boy skateboarding down the street all the way to the house. The boy has yellow skin, red spiky hair with black streaks, orange eyes, a leather jacket, an orange shirt with a flaming skull, black pants and shoes and a skull belt. His name is Inferno. And the reason why is because he's staying with Spike. He finally arrived at the house and knocked on the door. Spike opened it and saw him and smiled big.
"Inferno!!" Spike smiled.
"Spike-O!! Hello brother!" Inferno said.
The two gave each other a big hug and separated.
"Well look at you Spike! Haven't you grown?" Inferno asked.
"Honestly bro time files by so fast. But, I wasn't expecting you til the summer." Spike wondered.
"I know but I had a little free time. So I thought maybe I move out of our parents house and come live with you. Like old times." Inferno explained.
"Well that sounds great! Oh it's great to see you!" Spike smiled.
"Me too man. Me too." Inferno agreed.
"Come inside and let's catch up on old times." Spike offered.
He let his brother inside and they caught up on old times. First he told him all about his relationship with Rarity, then he told him about his friend Steve and how he taught him Blues Clues. Finally he showed him the Valentine Rarity gave him.
"Wow! You been dating this Rarity chick for a while and you learned a game called Blues Clues. That's pretty cool man. Lucky for you." Inferno commented.
"Yeah. What about you? Don't you have a Valentine?" Spike asked.
"Sadly no man. I wish I did." Inferno answered.
Then suddenly an envelope came through the door and Spike got it. He opened it and saw it was an invitation to a Valentine party! And it was from Steve! Spike was thrilled that Steve invited him again. But then saw his brother and had an idea.
"Hey Inferno? You wanna come and meet Steve?" Spike asked.
"Sure but I thought you were gonna take your girlfriend with you." Inferno thought.
"She's out of town right now. But she did give this Valentine before she left to work on her fashion line. So you're coming cause I did want to catch up with you." Spike smiled.
"Man you always know how to make your bro smile! Alright let's go Spike!" Inferno said.
The two headed out and enjoyed their nice walk and before they knew it they arrived at Steve's house for the party. But soon Inferno will play Blues Clues to figure out who his secret Valentine is.
The two made their way to Steve's front door and when Spike knocked Steve answered it and smiled.
"Well Spike! It's so glad to see you! And I see you brought a friend with you today for the party!" Steve replied.
"I sure did. This is my brother Inferno. He came here to stay with me after he moved out of our parents house." Spike introduced.
"Well nice to meet you Inferno." Steve smiled.
"You too Steve. Spike told me all about you. May we come in?" Inferno asked.
"Sure thing. Come on in." Steve answered.
He let the brothers inside and they looked around seeing all the heart decorations placed everywhere. Inferno loved the style.
"Wow. I love this style for Valentine's Day. Really fits it." Inferno commented.
"Thanks. And since you two are a little early feel free to help around for the party. And Blue will keep you company if you need anything." Steve said.
Steve left to check on he cake for the party and Blue came out and Spike smiled seeing her. He patted her head and Inferno did the same.
"What a cute dog. I see why she's named Blue." Inferno replied.
Then suddenly the two saw a Valentine card floating in the air and landed softly on the ground. The two decided to get a closer look.
"Is that another Valentine's card? Probably another from Rarity to you." Inferno said.
Spike opened it and looked at Inferno.
"Actually it's for you man." Spike replied.
"Really? For me? Lemme see that." Inferno asked as Spike gave him the card.
He opened it and read it saying that a secret admirer is coming here and will confess her feelings to Inferno to be his Valentine.
"Dude! I got a secret admirer coming here! I think I might have a girlfriend!!" Inferno said happy.
"That's awesome!! But there's one problem. When I looked at it it didn't say who sent it." Spike worried.
"Ooh that is a problem. If I don't know who the secret admirer is then how will I know if it was a girl who sent it?" Inferno asked.
"Don't worry Inferno. Im sure we can help you figure that out." Spike said as Blue barked knowing she has the answer.
"Blue! You know who sent Inferno the card?" Spike asked as Blue nodded yes.
"That's great Blue! So who was it?" Inferno asked.
Blue then went to the screen and placed a blue paw print on it. Inferno and Spike went to it realizing what Blue meant: Time for a lovely game of Blues Clues!
"Oh is this the game you mentioned Spike?" Inferno asked.
"Sure is! We'll play Blues Clues to figure out who sent you the Valentine card! And I can show you how it's done!" Spike smiled as he began to sing.
"So remember Inferno. Blue's paw print will be on the clues." Spike said.
"Blue's Clues?" Inferno asked.
"That's right. Okay now we need to clean up the paw print. But how?" Spike wondered.
"I know! Maybe I try using this red marker. Let's see." Inferno answered.
He then used the red marker and colored in the paw print. Once it was completely red it turned into hearts and floated away.
"Wow. Gives the meaning 'love in the air' a new perspective." Inferno said impressed.
"Sure does. You know what we need for Blues Clues. Our handy dandy..." Spike asked.
"Notebook!" The reader said.
"Notebook! Right!" Spike smiled taking out his notebook. "Oh and Inferno? Since this is your first time you can use Steve's notebook to play."
He gave him the notebook and the brothers were all ready.
"Thanks man. You know we can tell were really gonna need your help trying to figure out who sent me the Valentine card. Will you help? You will? Great!" Inferno replied.
"Okay so lemme tell you how to play bro." Spike said as music started playing
Inferno enjoyed the song along he decided to join in the dance. Then when the two squat down Blue jumped in front of the screen and went down. Spike and Inferno went back up and said together "That we wanna do." Thus they ended the song.
"Are you ready to play Blue's Clues so we can find who sent Inferno the Valentine card?" Spike asked.
"You are? Great!" Inferno smiled. "So now what do we do now?"
"Now we go looking for clues. When you see something that has a paw print on it that means you found a clue." Spike explained.
"Gotcha! Let's go find these clues!!" Inferno replied.
So the two began there search for the clues so Inferno will know who sent him the Valentine's card.
The two were walking around the house searching for clues. Then after a while they passed a game controller with a paw print on it meaning it's a clue!!
"Man dude this is hard finding clues!" Inferno said.
"Relax man we'll find them okay? Keep your head up." Spike assured.
"A clue! A clue!" The reader said.
"I know. I wanna know who my admirer is. But don't worry. Once we find the clues we'll know." Inferno replied.
"No. A clue." The reader said.
"Oh your saying you see a clue right now? Where?" Spike asked.
"Over there!" The reader said as the two turned around seeing the game controller.
"So we'll start by this wavy shape like this. Add some circles for the buttons and control sticks, a plus shape, and these shapes and there. A game controller." Spike finished.
The brothers continued walking seeing the decorations and Inferno got a good idea.
"Hey Spike. Let's see if we can spot some things that are red, pink or white. You know since it's the day of love and what not." Inferno suggested.
"Good idea man." Spike agreed.
So they both looked around seeing lots of things that were red, pink or white. They were having so much fun til they passed a picture with the color of a yellowy-orange with a paw print on it meaning it's a clue!!
"Wow. Were seeing a lot of things that are red, pink and white. Who knew there be this many?" Inferno asked.
"A clue!" The reader said.
"Yeah if Blue was here she love to tell us what things she see that have either one of those colors." Spike replied.
"No. A clue." The reader said again.
"Oh you see a clue!! Where?" Spike asked.
"Right there!" The reader said as the two turned around and saw the picture.
"Oh there's the clue! And it's on this..yellowy-orange color." Spike smiled.
"Then I'm guessing that this yellowy-orange color is our second clue." Inferno replied.
"Yep. Now your getting it. You know what we need. Our handy dandy..." Spike said.
"Notebook!!" The reader said.
"Notebook! Right!" Spike said as he got his notebook out and flipped to a clean page. "Hmm I think I'll use this yellowy-orange crayon for this clue." Then he got out a yellowy-orange crayon and began to draw.
"I'll draw a line that zigzags back and forth like this and there. This yellowy-orange color." Spike finished.
"Nice. So we need to figure out who sent me the Valentine card. And our first clue was a game controller. Now our second clue is this yellowy-orange color. So who could have sent me the Valentine card with a game controller and this yellowy-orange color?" Inferno asked as the images flew above.
"Hmm. You know what Inferno? Maybe this could be one of my friends." Spike thought.
"Could be. But we need to find one more clue. Then we'll know for sure." Inferno agreed.
"Hey guys! Can you help us out?" A voice said.
"That sounded like Tickety. Let's go see what she needs." Spike replied.
The brothers went in the living room and saw Tickety trying to figure out who gets that Valentine.
"Hello Tickety Tock!" Spike said.
"Oh hey Spike. Listen I really need your help. I made all these Valentines but I can't figure out who it belongs to. Think you can help?" Tickety asked.
"Sure! Me and my brother Inferno are more than willing to help! So what do we need to do?" Spike asked.
"Well I made three different Valentines so all you have to do is figure out who it belongs too." Tickety explained.
"I think we can handle that." Inferno said as he took a Valentine. "Ok. So this one has like some pictures of art stuff. And is a very good friend of Blue. Who does this belong too?"
"Magenta!!" The reader answered.
"Oh right! Magenta! She likes to paint and is Blue's best friend! Good job!" Inferno smiled.
He gave Tickety the Valentine and she signed it for Magenta. Then Spike took another.
"Okay let's look at this one. Ooh all right so this one has pictures of bubbles. Who do you think it belongs too?"
"Slippery!!" The reader answered.
"Oh of course!! Slippery loves bubbles so it makes sense!" Spike smiled.
He gave Tickety the Valentine and she signed it for Slippery. Then Inferno took the final one.
"Ok we got one more. Ooh ok so this one has like some pictures of ducks. Lots of ducks. Who do you think it belongs too?" Inferno asked.
"Joe!!" The reader answered.
"Oh look at that! Your right! Joe loves ducks! So it's definitely his." Inferno replied.
He gave Tickety the final Valentine and she signed it for Joe.
"Thanks guys! I couldn't have done it without you!" Tickety smiled.
"Your very welcome. And you did well Spike." Inferno said.
Then suddenly they heard someone saying "Mailtime." in song. When Spike heard that he knew what time it is.
"The mail's here!! Come on bro! Bye Tickety." Spike said as he and Inferno went in the house.
Once in they started dancing and singing along. Once the song ended Mailbox came in through the window. Spike and Inferno went to the chair to get the mail.
"Hey Mailbox. It's great seeing you again. This is my brother Inferno." Spike introduced.
"Hey Spike. Glad to meet you. And I have something for you two. Your letter." Mailbox said as he opened his lid and Steve took out a orange letter.
"Thanks Mailbox." Steve said as Mailbox left. "We just got a letter." And like that began a song.
When the song ended he opened the letter and to their surprise it was from Twilight!
"Look! It's A letter from Twilight!" Spike smiled.
In the letter
"Hey Spike! I hope your having a Happy Valentine's Day. I know I am. I was so surprised that my Valentine was from Timber. Oh he's so nice. Well I heard your brother is coming to stay with you so if he's here then tell him I said hi. I love to catch up but I have a date with Timber tonight. Bye Spike! Happy Valentine's Day!!" Twilight said.
Out of the letter
"Bye Twilight. Happy Valentine's Day." Spike said as he closed the letter and placed it down.
"Wow. Im so happy that Twilight has a lover in Timber. Makes her feel special." Spike replied.
"Hey speaking of lovers we will gotta figure out who my admirer is. And we gotta find the last clue." Inferno reminded him.
"Your right. Let's go find Blue maybe she knows." Spike suggested.
The two nodded in agreement and got up to look for Blue. With her they might be able to find the last clue and know who send Inferno the Valentine card.
In the living room we see Blue near a book full of love stories and when she saw the brothers she skidooed straight in the book and Inferno got surprised.
"Woah! What the heck happened?" Inferno asked.
"Well Blue just skidooed! Into The Book of Love. Hey Inferno. Maybe we might find the last clue in there." Spike suggested.
"You might be right. Let's go." Inferno said.
They went to the book and did the skidoo dance.
"Blue skidooed we can too!" Inferno and Spike sang as they jumped in the book.
They landed inside the book and looked around seeing that everything is a Valentine theme and they loved the scenery.
"Wow. This is lovely. It just screams love everywhere." Spike replied.
"You said it bro. Let's go look around." Inferno said.
They walked around seeing all the Valentine colors and loving the the details. Then they both saw a prince and a princess sharing the love they had.
"Hi there! I am a prince." He said.
"And I am a princess." She said as well.
The brothers smiled and bowed in respect.
"It's very nice to meet you prince and princess. I'm Spike and this is my brother Inferno." Spike introduced.
"Nice to meet you. Hey we were wondering if you can help us match the couples for us? They somehow got all mixed up and we can't fix them. Can you help us?" The prince asked.
"Sure! We'll help. And then we can look for the final clue. So what do we need to do?" Inferno asked.
"Well all you have to do is match the correct girlfriend with the right boyfriend. Should be easy." The princess explained.
"I think we can handle that. I'll go first." Inferno said as he went to the picture of Mario. "Ooh Super Mario huh? Well I heard he loves a certain princess. But what princess is it?"
"Princess Peach!" The reader answered and the picture of Peach went to the Mario picture.
"Oh your right! Mario rescued Peach from Bowser many times so that makes sense! Good job!" Inferno smiled.
"Ok my turn!" Spike said as he went to the picture of Sonic. "Ok this one might be tricky. So we got Sonic the Hedgehog. Now he had many girlfriends but there's one that loves more than the others. Which one loves him more?"
"Amy Rose!" The reader answered and the Amy picture went to the Sonic picture.
"Look at you being smart! Yes Amy loves Sonic so much that she must love him the most. Nice one!" Spike said.
"Ok we have one left. And I'll handle it." Inferno said as he went to the picture of Ash Ketchum. "Alright this one is gonna be quite hard. So we have the Pokemon boy Ash. Now he had many girlfriends too. But only one of them is his true love. Which girl is his true love?"
"Serena!!" The reader answered and the Serena picture went to the Ash picture.
"Serena? Oh yes! She was his childhood friend for many years and she developed a crush on him. Nice job! We matched all the couples!" Inferno replied.
"Wow! You did it! The couples all matched! Thanks for your help!" The prince said.
"Your welcome! Come on Spike! We still gotta find the last clue!" Inferno reminded him.
The two nodded in agreement and headed out. They both looked around trying to find it. Then the sun came out and there was a paw print on it meaning it's a clue!!
"A clue! A clue!" The reader said.
"Yeah. This place is really cool. Really gave a lovely Valentine theme." Spike replied.
"No a clue." The reader said.
"Oh. Oh you see a clue? Here in the Book of Love? Where?" Inferno asked.
"Right there!" The reader said.
They looked on the ground and behind the castle but didn't see it.
"We don't see it. Where is it?" Inferno asked.
"It's right there in the sky!!" The reader said.
They looked in the sky and saw the sun with the paw print on it and realized what they said.
"And the sun. So who could sent me the Valentine card with a game controller, this yellowy-orange color and the sun?" Inferno asked as the two began thinking. Then Spike had an idea.
"Well. I was thinking that maybe these clues are related to one of my friends of the Rainbooms. Like maybe this admirer has skin this yellowy-orange color. Yeah and maybe this admirer has a picture of the sun on her clothes." Spike thought.
"Good thinking but we forgot about the game controller. So yeah this admirer can have yellowy-orange skin and a picture of the sun. But I was thinking that maybe she might have a hobby for video games. But who would that be?" Inferno asked.
The clues connected like a puzzle til they formed the answer.
"Sunset Shimmer!" The reader answered.
"Sunset Shimmer? Yes that's it! Because Sunset has yellowy-orange skin, she has a sun picture on her clothes and she might have a hobby for video games!!" Spike smiled.
"Hey Blue!" Inferno said as Blue came out. "Was Sunset Shimmer the one who sent me the Valentine card?"
Blue nodded yes and when heard that only one thing came to his mind.
"We just figured out Blues Clues!!" Spike said as he started singing again.
The two posed and Steve came in. But before he can say anything the doorbell rang.
"That's the doorbell. Who do you think is here?" Steve asked.
"I have no idea Steve. I'm gonna go see." Inferno replied.
He went to the door with Spike following behind. Once there he stopped in front of it.
"Who is it?" Inferno asked.
"It's me." A voice said.
Inferno was surprised hearing that. And when he opened the door he was the one and only Sunset Shimmer at the door.
"Well what do you know? It's Sunset Shimmer! Come on in Sunset!" Steve said.
"Thanks Steve." Sunset smiled as she came inside.
The brothers couldn't believe that Sunset was the one that gave Inferno the Valentine card. But Inferno decided to sit down and talk to her.
"You have to be the cutest girl I've seen in my life." Inferno told her.
"Well your the most handsome guy I laid my eyes on." Sunset said.
"Really? Wow. Well thank you for the Valentine card. I had no idea it was from you." Inferno thought.
"Yep that was from me. I'm glad you like it. And I really meant it when I wanted to confess my feelings to you. I want to be your girlfriend." Sunset confessed.
"Now that is a special surprise. And you most certainly are my girl." Inferno said as he brought Sunset closer to him. "And you know what? Why don't you stay for this Valentine's party?"
"I would love that my Blazing Heat." Sunset smiled.
So everyone smiled seeing Inferno gain a lover and they all enjoyed the party. After a few hours passed the brothers and Sunset were tired and decided to head home.
"Steve. Thank you for letting us join the Valentine party. And Spike? Thanks for teaching me how to play Blues Clues." Inferno smiled.
"Your welcome. And Steve wanted me to give you this. Your own handy dandy notebook." Spike said giving him the notebook.
It was colored red and orange and had a flame logo on it. It even came with a matching crayon.
"Thanks Spike. This looks so cool." Inferno replied.
"Im glad you like it. Feel free to come back anytime and we can play Blues Clues together one day." Steve replied.
"Oh we will. Well we gotta go. Me and Sunny got a date tonight. We'll see you around Steve." Inferno said.
The trio gave Steve a final goodbye and Spike went home while Inferno and Sunset went off for their date. Steve closed the door seeing the two head in the car and drive off. Steve smiled and made his way to the readers.
"Thank you so much for all your help today." Steve said.
