Today was a great day, the sun was shining, the sky glows a blue hue, there are a bunch of massive and white clouds in the sky. Everypony is getting ready for nightmare night, some people put out jack-o-lanters, some even bought candy to give out to the ponies who will be asking them. Everyone seems happy and is doing what they do everyday. However, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, the other mane six members except Pinkie Pie, who was "sick" and detectives are investigating a murder case, there was red substance that stained the green grass, there was a pumpkin in the middle of the crime scene, the crime scene was surrounded by yellow and black tape. There was a silence, they all are busy and hard at work.
Rainbow Dash broke the silence by asking in a confused tone, "I don't find any clues.. the crime scene is just this pumpkin.. it also stinks in there!" Rainbow Dash covered her nose with her hoof when she said that. The awful and vile scent can be traced back to the pumpkin. The pumpkin had a happy face carved into it.
Twilight then asked in a hopeful tone, "Maybe whatever is in the pumpkin will give us clues about who did this horrible act!" She made her horn glow purple and lifted the top of the pumpkin, then she put the top part of the pumpkin on the cold and green grass. The mane six are eager to see what is in that pumpkin.
The mane six get closer and closer into the pumpkin. Their face started glowing green like the grass when they saw what was inside, Rarity then turned around and a green substance can be seen exiting Rarity's mouth, Fluttershy slowly stepped back, her pupils were shaking. The mane six didn't like what was in the pumpkin.
The Pumpkin had the victims' kidney which is pink and has a scar on it, it also had the victims colon, a long pink spaghetti like thing. There was blood on all the organs, they all felt.... cold, hard, and lumpy. Then, Rainbow Dash picked up the big red object, it was still beating. Rainbow Dash screamed in fear, she usually doesn't scream in fear and is super brave but this is her limit. Then, Rainbow Dash dropped the red object and was about to back away and vomit until she noticed a note under the large orange pumpkin. Rainbow Dash moved the pumpkin and read the note.
The note read, "Ponyville, a great sight... it is now filled with fright, I wish you were here before he died, at least you tried!" Rainbow Dash was shocked, usually she isn't scared of things but this is an exemption, she felt a knot form in her stomach. and said in a scared tone, "Twilight, I found this under the pumpkin.."
Twilight made her horn glow purple, picked up the note and dragged it to where she was standing, she then looked at the note, she then felt confused by the note, she doesn't understand what the note was saying.
Rainbow Dash saw there was a backside, so she yelled in a loud tone, "There is a back side!" Twilight flipped the note and saw that there were more words, the note read as followed, "I will see you tonight, at a great eatery, the night is so wonderful and bright, hope it won't end in tragedy."
Apple Jack then yelled in an angry tone, "The murderer will strike at Sugar Cube Corner!" She narrowed her eyes.
Rainbow Dash chuckled and said in a calm tone, "I don't think they would attack Sugar Cube Corner, one Sugar cube Corner has great security at night and it is a place filled with ponies through out the day and early night.. I don't think they would attack.."
Fluttershy then asked in a very sad tone, "Why is the murderer killing ponies?" She felt her eyes flood with water. She doesn't understand why the murderer is doing such heinous acts. She felt tears race down her face.
Then, Pinkie Pie then walked over to where the mane six and detectives are working, the sun was going down, the moon was rising up. Pinkie Pie had red stains on her hoof and a little red stain under her chin, she then asked in a curious tone, "Hey... so what.. did I miss? I was sick and feeling better now... sorry I couldn't help!"
Twilight then said in a distressed tone, "We found a pumpkin... with liver, kidney, and a beating heart in it.. and a note saying how we didn't try to save the victim and they might strike at Sugar Cube Corner," She then noticed the red stains in her chin and in her hooves. She then continued in a concerned tone, "You have... red stains on.. your chin.. and hoof!"
Pinkie Pie started feeling sweat drops raced down her head, her eyes darted around the environment, Pinkie Pie then blurted out, "Uh.. I was eating a sandwich and hot sauce may have gotten under my chin and hoof... no biggie.."
Pinkie Pie then took a deep breath and said, "It's getting late... we should go home.. we can continue the case tomorrow.. it's important to get a good night sleep!"
Twilight raised an eyebrow and said, "I don't care.. I want to solve this case.." She narrowed her eyes, Pinkie Pie usually doesn't say those things, she thinks she might be the pony killing this innocent victim.. Pinkie Pie hates hot sauce and why would hot sauce get under your chin or on your hoof.. not to mention how her responses are delayed which is a sign somepony is lying.
Pinkie Pie said, "Okay, dokie!" She then hopped home, a long with everypony else except Rainbow Dash and Twilight. They all had tired looks on their face, they had been working hard all day.
Rainbow Dash doesn't think Pinkie killed a pony but she wants to help Twilight solve this case and she has a day off tomorrow. She also has something to tell Twilight, something that's been locked in her heart for years now.
Twilight and Rainbow Dash work throughout the night, they search for clues, they try to find where this killer would strike next, they drink a ton of coffee to stay awake... the safety of Ponyville rests in their hooves and they don't want to let Princess Celestia or the citizens of Ponyville down.
Then, Rainbow Dash slowly closed her eyes, her body quickly leaning on Twilight's smooth body. Twilight felt a red tint creeping up to her cheeks. She looked over to where Rainbow Dash was sleeping. She sighs and says in a sad tone, "I wish.. I was brave enough to tell her how I felt... I also wish... I can find this killer so I can go to sleep already.."
Twilight then gently hugged Rainbow Dash and set her down on the green and wet grass. She then heard something moving in the bushes, the bushes outside Daisy's flower shop. She jerked her head to where the green bushes were, she then said, "What's that sound?"
She then heard a giggling sound, similar to that of a filly laughing. She heard the sound as it got louder and louder. She heard the sound surrounding her. Then, after what seemed like forever, it just stopped, no more sounds.
Twilight asked in a curious tone, "What was that about, maybe I am just hearing things or going mad since I didn't get a lot of sleep.." She took a deep breath. She then saw a strange figure, it looked like it's face was a pumpkin. The figure smelt like pumpkin spice and it was running thought the streets of Ponyville. Twilight galloped after the figure. The streetlights were on and on the back of the pumpkin head with a smile, not with marker but with red blood, the blood was still drooping.
Twilight had enough and made her horn glow purple, she then tried to catch the figure but they hopped and disappeared. Twilight raised an eyebrow and asked in a confused tone, "What... just happend?" She looked around, she saw many houses, streetlight lamps, a red bench. She then saw a note on the bench, she walked over and read the note.
The note read, "Were we playing Tag? why did you stop I was having so much fun! See you tomorrow..." Twilight was even more confused, how did this figure write a note after he just disappeared. Twilight then yawned and said in a tired tone, "I have an idea... I- I will just go to sleep and wake up super early to continue this case and to satisfy my desire to sleep."
She walked back to where Rainbow Dash was peacefully sleeping, she was mumbling something like, "Will you marry me?" She then rolled over which exposed her belly. Twilight then picked her up, then teleport her and Rainbow to Rainbow's mansion in Cloudsdale. The two mares appear in Rainbow's Bedroom. There was a queen size bed, a tube where Rainbow push food down the tube and the food arrives in Tank's food bowl. She also sees posters of the Wonderbolt members, there was one poster with Spitfire with the words printed in big orange words, "Follow Your Dreams" it was also signed by Spitfire.
There was also a purple book with a lock on it, the walls were painted blue, and there was also pictures of her accomplishments like when she won a race for Fluttershy's honor or when she saved Rarity when her wings dissolved during a flight competition. Twilight made her horn glow purple and made it move Rainbow Dash to her bed. She then made her horn glow purple, and teleport herself to her home. Her home was neat and organized like always. The floor was clean. Spike was sleeping on the green couch. the door is closed, and her trophies and awards were on a bookshelf that is hanging above the TV. She stretched and said, "Time to go to sleep!"
She then went upstairs, to her room. Her room had a queen size bed, many books, a drawer, a desk for her to write letters to Princess Celestia. Spike's bed was ahead of Twilight's bed. Twilight climbed on her bed and closed her eyes. She had a peaceful look on her face, she plans to wake up at 4am then continue the case. Time flew fast, so fast Rainbow Dash would be jealous, the clock read, "12:00 am" Then, Twilight heard a tap on her window.
Twilight quickly opened her eyes, she felt the soft pillow that was hugging the back of her bed, and the sheets which was covering her lower body. Twilight looked to the window that was to her right, she didn't see anything other than the sky which was glowing a breathtaking dark purple hue. There were many stars glowing in the sky, they shined brightly like Christmas lights. Then, she heard a knock on the door downstairs.
She walked downstairs to get to the door. She then opened the door and asked in a tired tone, "Hello?"
She looked to the left and then to the right, she saw nothing. There was an eerie sound. Twilight then asked in a tired tone, "Who knocked on the door?"
She then stood there, she then said in a tired tone, "Okay.. maybe it was just some dumb foals playing a prank on me... but who would play a prank at midnight!" She then heard heavy breathing against her neck.
Twilight turned around, she saw a pony with a pumpkin as a head, a long black horn, the pony was tall. The pony spoke in a raspy tone, "Good night.." they then pulled out a gun. Twilight was confused. She still thinks her mind was playing tricks on her still, she got like two hours of sleep. She then quickly made her horn glow purple.
A Boom could be heard at the distance. Twilight lays on the ground, a bullet hole was found on her neck. Her eyes were closed, there was a puddle of blood under her. Then the pony ripped her stomach open. She saw Twilight's heart, her purple lungs, her long pink colon. The Pony then put those organs in a pumpkin to scare of the detectives and ponies looking for her, she wrote something on a sheet of paper using a spell and made her horn glow dark purple. The glow dissolved after she was done. Then, all of a sudden she disappeared unto the night.
