How I think things could have gone for the young six had their story continued
After the battle of the bell, all the friendship students returned to their homelands. now with a new school year new adventures, surprises, and new......well issues come along with it. But if the infamous group of creatures can stick together they know they will get through it.
* there are a few issues that maybe be hard for some to read so viewer discretion advised*
this is my take on how the story of the student six could have continued had the writers kept making their story.
For so early in the morning and with the sun rising only a few hours ago Ponyvill was already busy at work today. Everypony was getting ready for the arrival of the friendship students. Last year there wasn't much fuss about it, but since the battle of the bell, the town decided to throw a party to celebrate the heroes' return who helped bring their nations together to defeat the legion of doom. This had first been an idea Twilight had suggested to her friends who had of course agreed and as she asked around everypony was ecstatic and wanted to help out any way they could! Whether it was by baking, decoration, music playing, entertaining, or just by showing up and supporting the function, every creature pitched in with their own special way.
As mentioned before the town was highly chaotic today. Ponies from all across Equestria decided to come and join in on the celebration, and even a few creatures from outside the country decided to come along, such as the Dragons, Griffins, Changelings, Yaks, and hippogriffs! Every creature was excited to celebrate such a marvelous group of kids.
Even though everybody was excited about the party. the most enthusiastic of them all had to be Sandbar. Sandbar had been a part of the infamous group and could wait to reunite with his best friends. Since the day they went to their own countries, he had been counting down the days till their return. The six of them had been writing back and forth to each other all summer long, talking about the fun they were gonna have this year and how thrilled they were to see each other. As of right now he is going through and organizing the letters his friends have sent him.

He loved to keep the letters he gets from people in a little box. He loved to re-read them sometimes if he was feeling nostalgic or just missed the creature.
" Ok I have the letters, my notebooks, pencils, stuffed turtle, clothes, hats, pictures, hairbrush...." he continued to read off everything he need to bring to the school with him.
*Knock* * knock* "Sandbar sweetie it's almost time to go" he heard his mom say from the other side of his door. "OK ill be there in a minute!" He replied. He double-checked again as he put everything in boxes. The walk from His house to the school was a very chaotic one. Sandbar was stopped every five minutes and asked to take a photo with random strangers he'd never met, some didn't even ask they just took photos of his walking, some would ask questions some related to the battle...some not so much.
"what's it like have different creatures as friends?" same as having any other friends
"Is Princess Silverstream single" "No back off"
"What was it like facing death right in the eye" Umm no comment
"is it true your in a polyamorous with the other creatures?" What! No, I'm only dating one creature. Yona.
"What is it like sharing a room with a griffin" Umm loud
"Are you racist" yes. defiantly
"Is it true one of them is a drug addict" No. don't listen to those rumors
These questions get out of hand. some are fun, others are just weird.

Sandbar finished setting up the dorm room he'd be sharing for the next 10 months. When he finished setting up his bed he looked at the time, 3 hours until they would be here, not knowing what to do with the wait time he decided to lay in bed, listen to music and zone out for a few minutes.
Sandbar loves music it feels like a free therapy session. It helps him to think about things that need to be addressed but never find the time for them. He thinks back to all the ponies who were lining up wanting to talk to him, take photos, and just be near him. It was so weird these ponies, who he had known all his life, wanted autographs from him. the same ponies who thought he was weird for hanging with the "New Kids" when the school was first built. Most had apologized for their rudeness years back while others haven't said a thing. It's so strange how they can just turn around and act like nothing happened. He hoped he never did that, he doesn't wanna be like those people, the people who pretend to like certain things when everybody else does then hate the same thing the next day. it just doesn't make any sense, Ponies need to make up their mind.
Right in Infront of the friendship castle was where everything had been set up, on the top was the balcony was had Flags representing each nation were put up showing where each creature would be dropped off and proceeded to be welcomed, given gifts, praised for their good work. The new leader of Equestria Princess Twilight Sparkle stood at the edge of the balcony along with her 6 friends and Sandbar who eagerly looked up at the sky. The teen pony was trotting in place trying to be patient but failing miserably.
"Sandbar you're more jittery than pinkie pie," Twilight said motioning to a frantic pinkie pie who was bouncing off the wall with excitement..Literally. OH MY GOSH! OH MY GOSH!! OH MY GOSH!!! She proceeded to bounce off the balcony in the normal pinkie fashion. " I don't think I'm quite to that point yet but I am super excited!! Plus it's so cool that all these ponies came just to see us!" He looked out into the crowd some ponies were wearing t-shirts that said things such as ' I <3 Yaks ' and others had signs that said ' I love the Hippos ' which in his opinion is not the best abbreviation for hippogriffs.
Rainbow Dash put her hoof around Sandbar " Yeah, Yeah it can be fun and all but don't let the fame get to you too much. Trust me too much attention can be a bad thing. I can get into your head y'know, make you do some pretty stupid stuff." Sandbar just brushed it off " Oh please we will be fine. "
as Sandbar looked at the flags of his friend's countries he noticed something odd about the order. "Umm Princess Twilight, why aren't the flags in order of when you met each nation? shouldn't it go Dragons, Griffins, Changelings, Yaks, and hippogriffs?" The order Twilight had chosen to do was Dragons, Changelings, Yaks, Hippogriffs, and Griffins.
"Yes well, we decided to..." With a flashy smile Twilight darted her eyes to her friends trying to get one of them to help. Finally, Rarity spoke up "We wanted to have Griffin's and Hippogriffs together since they share a closer bond considering they're both from a close descent."
That was such a white lie a blind pony could see it... Sandbar was going to push his question further but there was a sudden sound in the sky. Trumpets. The royal guard was blowing trumpets signaling that the special guests have arrived.
As the crowd below cheered Sandbar felt all his worries wash away, all the questions he had, all the feelings of nervousness went away as he saw his friends coming back.
Twilight turned to face the crowd "Attention everybody. Please welcome back our beloved students and their leaders as they prepare to stay another year in our land." with that every creature cheered excited to see their beloved heroes.
Sandbar wasn't paying attention to the crowd as they cheered him and his friend's names, he was watching the sky and he was the 5 creatures coming. First, he saw Smolder who was accompanied by her brother and Dragonlord Ember. He watched as the orange dragon flew in his direction, when they made eye contact Sandbar smiled at her excited to greet his friend.
Smolder smirked which confused the young pony not prepared for what was gonna happen next. Before Smolder hit the balcony she did a full 180 as she dipped down towards the crowd which caused them to go crazy, When she reached the center of the ponies she shot straight up spinning in a 360 wrapping her wings around her torso. When she hit the same height as the clouds she shot down to her final destination. which was next to Sandbar.
When she landed the crowd cheered louder and Sandbar could feel the floor under him shake a bit. Smolder looked at her pony friend As she waved to her fans. "like my entrance? I've been practicing. I bet I looked super cool"
"Little extra if you ask me. But I'm surprised you didn't try to shoot fire out of your big mouth when you spun."
" I wanted to but Ember thought it would be a safety hazard or whatever" She rolled her eyes."
"Yeah, and Twilight wouldn't be happy about it either. Don't wanna get in trouble before we even start school."
"I'd beat Gallus record. Look there's Ocellus!! Cheer loud." With that Smolder started clapping her claws and cheering very loudly. Even though he knew she would get embarrassed he still yelled "Yeah Celly!!!!" As the changeling got closer the two creatures saw the annoyed and embarrassed look on her face.
"Oh shit, I think we made her mad," Smolder said through a laugh. "Welp it's a good thing they can't drain us anymore or else we would probably be dead as soon as she gets down here" Sandbar whispered so only she could hear.
Smolder tried not to burst out laughing. "yeah we will just get yelled at. Still kinda scary though,"
"Smolder stand up straight" Ember demanded
"What up her scales?" Sandbar asked.
"She just wants to look good in Infront of Thorax. There is so much Cel and I have to tell you guys"
Sandbar Nodded excited to hear about Thorax and Ember, Ocellus and Smolder have been trying to get them together for a bit now hopefully they made some progress during the summer.
Ocellus, along with Thorax and Pharynx, landed next to the dragons. Ocellus bucked Smolder on the head " You lizard I told you not to do that! and you got Sandbar involved what the hay!"
"Oh come on it was funny" Smolder proclaimed. Ocellus rolled her eyes not looking pleased. "I hate both of you." Smolder patted Ocellus on the head "No, No, No sweet Celly, you love us" The blue changelings glare intensified "your lucky we're reformed." Thorax poked his head between the young creatures "What did you say Ocellus?" "Nothing! Nothing!"
"I don't want you saying that especially in public...Understand" Ocellus looked down "Yeah I know.."
"Nice Job taking initiative Thorax I've taught you well," Ember said. The king blushed "Thanks I've been practicing." Ocellus and Smolder looked at each other and smiled, Smolder turned to Sandbar, "We've made progress" She mouthed.
"Yaks back Yaks back Yaks back Yaks back"
"you guys hear that?" Smolder asked excitedly. The three young creatures look to the ground trying to find where the Yaks were coming from, everybody was able to hear the stomping...but nobody could feel it.
"Yaks back Yaks back Yaks back Yaks back"
"Look up in the sky!" Somebody yelled, and sure enough up in the sky was a brown carriage carrying 2 yaks, Prince Rutherfurd and Yona. The 3 creatures began to cheer as Yona came down. "How can two yaks make so much noise?" Ocellus wondered "That's what your wondering? I wanna know-how in the world that thing is flying" Sandbar seemed mesmerized at this idea. As he saw his girlfriend approaching he realized how much he really missed her, sure she had visited a few times during the summer but it didn't feel like much time. He was so happy she was back.
"You're smiling like a dork," Smolder said "Aww did somebody miss his Girlfriend" Ocellus added "I thought you were mad at her. why are you provoking this?"
"Because Sand.Bar. That was literally 5 minutes ago" Smolder explained
"Yeah..besides ill get her back later"
Smolder seemed nervous by what she said. "what- what are you going to do? When are you gonna do it?" "you'll see" Ocellus innocently smiled. which didn't help in the situation at all. "Is some-creature a scaredy dragon" The pony mocked.
"Shut up ill burn you" "Still a better fate than whatever the shapeshifters gonna do to you."
Yaks back yaks back yaks back!!
Yona proceeded to hop out of the carriage which shook the castle causing a few ponies to almost fall over. "Do friends like Yona's song?" the young Yak asked. "It was great Yona" Sandbar answered.
before Any creature could talk to each other trumpets suddenly started playing. "Those no sound like pony music" "No it's the hippogriffs music" Ocellus explained
Appearing from the clouds was a golden carriage with Green, purple, and blue gems on the sides, a statue of a hippogriff on one side, and a seapony on the other. The carriage, instead of going right to the balcony did a lap around the castle. " Is Silverstream brother visiting? " Yona asked. As the other creatures looked they saw that Silverstream's brother Terramar was in the carriage riding alongside her. "If he's here... wouldn't their parents want to come with them?" Sandbar questioned. "Maybe they come later"
Before hopping off their ride, the three hippogriffs waved to the crowd who was going ballistic. "And you called my entrance extra" Smolder complained. "Oh please. that was literally 5 minutes ago" Sandbar joked.
"I still don't see why we didn't just fly, It's way more fun," Silverstream said as the trio floated down to the balcony. "It's called being safe Silverstream. Which you clearly don't know the meaning of" General Seaspray snapped. "Ok, you don't have to be so rude. I was just making a statement" Silver explained.
"Well they look happy" Ocellus whispered to Yona
Silverstream faced her friends "Hey guys!! Isn't this awesome! A whole party just for us!! Oooo What an honor!" She did her best to contain her excitement. "Don't screw it up Silverstream. Remember who you are." Sandbar looked at Silver, whose smile was very bright as if she wasn't just insulted, then at Terramar who gave a quick glare to the General.
"Yes! I'm well aware of who and what I am" Her smile increased it was almost to her eyes. "Everybody has been reminding me Every. Single. Day." She said through her teeth as she still held that smile.
Every creature was silent for a second. a high awkward second, "Hey look there's Gallus!!" Sandbar called out. Everybody ran to the end of the balcony excitedly awaiting the arrival of their final friend. Every creature was cheering and clapping as Gallus and Gruff flew in and landed on the balcony.
"Really you didn't do anything special? I'm surprised you didn't do at least a flip or something" Silver Joked "That's how you welcome me back? Not a 'Hey Gallus it's nice to see you" The griffin laughed
"Whatever come here" Silver through her arms around the bluebird giving him a big hug and soon all their friends joined in happy to be all together again. "For your information, my land was pretty graceful if you ask me," Gallus claimed "Eh I'm pretty sure I saw you slip a bit" Silver joked, Gallus made a face as if he was hurt by what the hippogriff had said.
"Attention every creature!!" Twilight announced abruptly. The young six who were right next to her winced at the sudden loud noise. "I see she has been working on her traditional Canterlot voice" Silverstream exclaimed as she covered her ears. "She's really good! I can still feel my ears ringing" She chuckled. To that Gallus just patted her on the head.
"The School open house will start at 3pm for students to register, Sign in, get their schedules, and make dorm arrangements. I hope to see you all there!!"
The crowed cheered as everybody began to go into the castle. "So what do you want us to do Twilight? Need help setting up?" Ocellus asked. "Not even a full day and your already acting like a teachers pet" Gallus joked
Twilight shot a look at the young bird. "thank you for offering Ocellus but we don't need any help. but I still need you Six."
Silverstream who was trying her best to hold in her excitement finally spoke " OOo What is it ? Scavenger hunt? Need help defeating another crazy villain? did you get new stairs? Are you getting medals? Do we get another party?"
"Silverstream!" General Seaspray yelled. Silver immediately stopped and flew back to wear she was, which had been in-between Gallus and Smolder. she let out a nervous chuckle " Sorry Mis Twilight"
"Its alright Silverstream. But no I have a few important matters I need to discuss with you Six."
"Ugh. When Twilight said she wanted to talk to us I thought she meant us! not our leaders." Gallus groaned as he flew in circles. The students, along with Terramar, were all in the castle's main hall waiting for the princess to let them in. "They said it will just be a minute" Ocellus recalled
"Yeah that was almost an hour ago" Sandbar stated. He was laying on the ground along with Yona, "What they talking about anyway? why can't Yona and friends listen?" "I can think of one reason," Terramar said as he looked in the direction of his sister. Silverstream was in the middle of getting her hair braided by Smolder. Everybody turned to look at the pink hippogriff who shot a glare at her younger brother. Once she noticed her friends staring at her she smiled. "OH! That reminds me guys I have amazing news!!" she began to stand up and jump around,
"Wait Sil i'm not done with the braid" Smolder exclaimed. Silver laughed "Oops sorry smolder! Got carried away" She sat back down allowing the dragon to continue. "So what did you want to tell us?" The griffin asked. "SO as you guys know my little brother is here" She motioned to the white hippogriff who rolled his eyes. "But he's not visiting!!" Her smile grew as she got more excited "He's gonna start going to school here!!"
" Sweet! Another guy to hang out with" Gallus said as he fist-bumped Terramar. "Yeah it's pretty cool but hey Sil did you tell them the reasons I'm gonna be here" he smirked. Silver's smile became different, it wasn't a happy smile it was an ' I'm trying not to kill this creature smile '
" No, I didn't Terry. I was waiting to see them in person to tell them anything. Because that's what friends do. They wait. To tell each other important information."
"Is that why you only sent like 10 letters over the summer?" Smolder asked as she completed Her friend's braid. "Yup! Sorry about that by the way I got supper busy over the summer I barely had time to paint!"
"Yeah, that's why" Her brother rolled his eyes. Silver hopped over to him and put a wing around him "Anyway! As I was saying. Terry over here has been missing me so much that he practically begged to go to school here to see me more!" She began to ruffle his feathers and Smile at him
"Makes sense. Who wouldn't miss Silverstream" Ocellus stated. "Yeah tell her that. I think she needs to hear it more often" Terramar said as he tried to get away from his big sister
The other creatures looked confused "Umm why?" Gallus questioned
"Oh, nothing. Terry is just being silly!" Nothing to worry" Silver said as she flew up to Gallus and gave him a big hug.
“Haha.Yeah. Silly…” Terramar said.
There was an awkward silence for a moment, but soon enough the doors to the main room finally opened up.
“Oh thank Novo” Silverstream proclaimed as she let go of Gallus who was still strongly confused. Every creature sat up eager to see what was going on.
Spike appeared in the door frame “ You all can come in now"
They all went in following the young dragon into ' the conference room ' where they saw their teachers sitting in their respective seats and their leaders also surrounding the table. without saying a word the creatures all take a seat on the floor curious as to what they will be discussing.
Twilight hopped up from her chair and walked towards the group. "First off I would like to tell you guys how proud I am of you and all you have accomplished. You guys have inspired so many around you including your own leaders." She motioned to the creatures whose stern faces turned into light smiles. Which confused Gallus the most, Gruff never smiles. Never.
"Which is why, after some deep thought, we think it's time to have more creatures come to our school. We are going to start by having them stay for a month and if they enjoy it they can continue to go here or they can go back to their home country. You guys will be able to choose who you would like to come since it might be better if they have some friends to be around"
everybody was silent for a moment trying to process what the princess just told them.
Then Silverstream bounced up. "ohmygoshohmygoshonmygosh!! That would be so exciting!! getting to see all the different creatures! Getting to show my friends back home around here. " She gasped rather loudly startling her friends
"I'LL GET TO SHOW THEM ALL THE STAIRS"
She gasped louder this time "OOOOOO we could have sleepovers everynight! AND our girls night will be even more fun now! AND! ALLLL The creatures will get to be apart of the fun adventures we get to go on!! AND! we get to see more and more creatures become friends and have amazing friend groups!! and well have fun parties every weekend!" She began to fly around in circles "OMG THIS IS GONNA BE.
SO.
MUCH.
FUN!!"
"HOW MANY HIPPOGRIFFS CAN I INVITE" The pink bird hovered in the air eagerly awaiting twilights answer.
"Well.. as of right now the limit will be 15 creatures per nation. With the help of your leader you will be choosing who comes to the school, is everycreature of with that?" Everyone nodded in agreement "Good, but there is one more thing. I've already told Sandbar about this but, since more students will be coming you guys will need to share dorms with each other this year. Gallus and Sandbar I'm guessing you too will be sharing a dorm" She looked at the young Pony and Griffin
''Yeah, sure. as long as some pony doesn't sleep talk" "Well I hope a certain Griffin doesn't snore"
"Oh he does," Silverstream and Yona said earning some stares from the others in the room.
For the sake of everybody, Twilight decided to continue her discussion. "Anyway. Girls, you can decide how dorm arrangements will go of course you don't have to room with each other, if you want you can room with a creature from your home. Any questions?"
"Wait who is Terry gonna stay with?" Silver asked.
"He will get to pick some creature as well so Silver you will technically be picking 14 while your brother picks 1"
"Aww ok"
"Besides you don't need to invite 15 people Sil," Terramar said, "Especially not the griffs you were hangout with."
"Terramar!!" the other two Hippogriffs yelled
"Ok!!" Starlight intervened "You guys can go head to the school and get your dorm situation figured out and we will see you there! we will let you know more about the other creatures coming later"
Before any creature could move Seaspray spoke "Oh Miss Starlight, Silverstream, Terramar, and I would like to speak with you and the rest of the teachers privately." Silverstream's ears fell back "Please no" she muttered which caught the attention of her friends.
"Alright, we can certainly do that. The rest of you can head out and go to the school."
Every creature, aside from the hippogriffs, began to leave the castle and head to the school. "What do you think that was about?" The young dragon asked, the others shrugged
"Maybe there is some royal crisis going on" Ocellus suggested "Maybe, I mean did you see the way Silverstream acted?" Sandbar recalled, "Whatever it was really upset her, she'll probably tell us later.... if she's allowed to"
"Even if she's 'not allowed' she will still tell us a little bit" Ocellus laughed.
Yona decided to change the subject and began to stomp with joy
"Yak can't wait for the new year to start! and to bring more Yaks to school! Friends get to meet Yonas Friends from Yakyakastan!!"
'Yeah, it will be pretty cool to have some more of my kind here, Dont get me wrong you guys are awesome bit it will be nice to have more dragons my age around here"
" Since ponies don't seem to be terrified of changelings anymore it will be nice to have some come here"
They all looked at the Griffin expecting him to say something. "What" He got no response from the group "Fine...I guess it will be cool to have a griffin or two here. But I don't know how many of them are willing to come here, Gabby might, she has the same energetic level as Silverstream and Pinkie Pie combined so I know they will get along, she already met you guys, and Spike so she wont be completely alone coming here, but I think she will be the only one"
Sandbar put a hoof around his blue friend "I'm sure more will want to come by, especially after what happened last spring"
"Eh maybe... I guess we will find out"
Smolder who was getting impatient suddenly flew up "Let's go guys! The last one to the dorms is a rotten egg!"
"Yona not want to be rotten egg" She yelled as she began to run
The 5 students laughed as they raced to their dorms
The group first decided to help move boxes to the boy's room. "Wow, Gallus I thought you would have more stuff than this" Smolder commented. "Yeah this was only 3 boxes...and they are kinda small" Ocellus pointed out
Gallus had already started opening boxes and putting stuff away "Yeah most of my stuff was already here it was just at Sandbars house" The girls just looked at him hoping there would be a better explanation "What? I stayed over at his house for a few weeks"
There were multiple ' ohs' that circulated the room
"Yeah it would've been from the whole summer but Gruff wanted me to help build back up Griffinstone, Which reminds me we finally got the library all built! it actually looks pretty nice"
"Sweet! Maybe we'll be able to check it out soon" Sandbar guessed.
"Yeah I bet Silverstream will really like it" Gallus blushed a bit as he spoke. Smolder smirked "Yknow Gallus, you talk about Silverstream a lot"
The Griffin snapped his head around and looked at her, his blush intensifying " What" He yelped almost looking offended at what the dragon was implying "I'm her friend! Of course, I'm gonna talk about her"
"Still not as much as you talk about the rest of us" Ocellus giggled
"Aww does some-griff have a bit of a crash on her" Sandbar teased
Yona decided to tag in "Look Griffins blushing"
Gallus tried to hide behind his wings " No I'm not! and No I don't!! I just happen to admire her bubbly nature and how she can make anything exciting And- Well- I- Ugh- Don't you girls have your own dorm situation to figure out!"
"Oh yeah you're crushing hard" Smolder teased more "He is right though we should probably start getting settled, other ponies will be here soon " Ocellus explained "Ok Girl-friends tease Griffin later about crush on Hippogriff"
"It's not a crush!!" Gallus yelled as Smolder shut the door behind them.
"Well, now we got him to finally admit it. we have a more important matter to discuss now, Who is bunking with who?"
"Umm well... I don't think the two most chaotic creatures in the school should share a room with each other" The young Changeling suggested. Yona raised a brow "What friend mean?"
The other two ignored her, the three girls walked into one of the empty dorm rooms and sat on the floor. "Yeah probably not," Smolder looked over to the young Yak, " Yona do you wanna bunk with me or Ocellus" Yona looked trouble by the question "Yona not want to choose over friends, Don't want to feel bad for other"
"It ok its not a matter of life and death or anything" Smolder explained
"Why would it be matter of that?"
" Its not. that's why I said it"
" If not matter of death or life then why dragon bring it up?"
"Because I-! Nevermind You share a dorm with Ocellus i'll share with Silver" Smolder decided
"Shouldn't we wait for Silverstream to come back?" Ocellus asked
"Yeah no, she's taking too long and I don't feel like waiting" Smolder decreed " I'll help you guys set up your room then hopefully she will be back and we can do ours"
The other two agreed and went to go get their stuff
"Yak still confused how that was life or death"
A groan came from the young dragon
The 5 creatures had finished setting up their rooms and decided to go to the main lobby where schedules and school pictures were being taken. When they walked in it was extremely loud and crowded, It was hard but they were able to make there way to the photos.
" Yeah.. I'll be happy when I see some more dragons around here" "If they were here the school would be burned down already" Gallus whispered
"If the Griffins were here no pony would have any money left "
" Ah how I missed the blunt racist joke we make to each other " Sandbar stated “ Nothing could bring us closer then that “
“Then what?” Suddenly a very cheery voice suddenly appeared in the mix starling the others.
The brown Yak tackled her into a hug “ Yona miss Silverstream! Only get to see her for minute “
Silverstream giggled as she got back up “It was for more then a minute silly. And sorry about that there was some stupid royal stuff Seaspray wanted to go over but I’ll tell you about it later“
“ Seriously that’s what took so long, Why couldn’t he talk to them alone and you could’ve came with us” Smolder complained
The hippogriff shrugged “ Well he said he wanted me to be a part of it and after we got done it took me a bit longer to get here because after that longggggggg discussion, I decided to write down a list of hippogriffs that can stay here!!”
She took out a scroll and it began to unravel rolling about 20ft knocking some ponies over in the process "I kind of lost track of time"
“Huh I don’t think you’ve mentioned these hippogriffs before, “ Gallus stated observing the names on the list
“ Well I hung out with them once or twice last spring break, then we hung out more this summer” she explained
“This looks like the whole population of Mt Aris and Seaquestria combine “ Ocellus stated
“It almost is!!” She proclaimed happily.
After waiting in line forever the kids got their photos taken, grabbed their schedules, and went to go find a place to sit down and find out if they have classes together. after cross-checking schedules, they all realized they had lecture hall together like they had requested the previous year. The next thing they had to do was get Silver's room set up.
"So did you guys decide who gets to be roomies with who?" Silverstream asked the girls
"Yup, it's gonna be Celly and Yona, You and me. We already set up their room but not ours so we could do it together"
" You don't need us for that" Gallus stated as he nudged Sandbar to play along. " Yea... Sounds boring and we wouldn't want to intrude on your ' girl time ' "
" We will be in our own room definitely not playing video games" Gallus and Sandbar began to run to their room
"Good! We don't want you smelly asshole to help anyway" Smolder yelled.
The girls laughed as they proceeded to their dorm rooms
" Finally we are done," Smolder said as she plopped onto the top bed of their bunk bed Silver doing the same on the bottom. " Yup now we get to do whatever we want"
" I wonder what they are gonna serve for dinner tonight. Oo I hope they give us some of that Grilled chicken! I really missed that in the Dragonlands, I mean we had chicken but it's nothing like the ones they make us here am I right?"
Even though Ponies in particular don't eat meat other creatures like Griffins, Hippogriffs, and Dragons do, So they had to make some adjustments in order for the carnivores to keep a healthy diet, Twilight was able to get 2 types of meat fish and chickens they could get beef though since killing cows is illegal in Equestria.
When there was no response Smolder leaned over the bottom bunk, Smolder saw the teen-griff reading some sort of little orange bottle. " Silverstream?"
Somehow starting the hippogriff, Smolder watch as she quickly put the orange bottle in a small rectangular box with a gold lock that looked to be painted Pink with light blue flowers.
" Sorry, what?" Silver pulled out a key and locked the box. Before the Dragon could respond Silver spoke " Oh yeah that chicken tasted nice"
"What's in that box?"
The pink bird Slid the box under her bed " Oh some stuff I need. Oh! I just had this really good idea! what if we all spend the night at the treehouse tonight!! OOoooo do you know how fun that would be! we can watch movies, play games, and talk about what we did over the summer!! Come on let's go tell every-creature!!!!" Silverstream grabbed Smolder by the claw dragging her to their friend's rooms to tell them the idea.
Every-creature of course agreed to the idea and when they asked Starlight for permission she agreed and told them to be safe, and careful and to not leave the Treehouse after midnight, They agreed to the rules and to decide who does what they flipped a coin.
Heads, the girls get the snacks and the boys set up the treehouse, Tails, the opposite.
Gallus flicked the coin, They watched as it rolled onto the table and started spinning in place
Spinning....
Spinning.....
Still spinning......
Finally, it landed on tails. The boys groaned as the girls cheered " Any special requests" Sandbar asked
" Mini Blueberry muffins Yonas favorite"
" Doritos oh and Lays the normal ones "
"Takis! The hottest ones you can find"
Everybody looked as Silver waiting for her answer
" Umm surprise me, y'know I like everything"
" Are you sure" Gallus questioned
" Yup, you guys go! we have a treehouse to decorate!!
Before splitting up they gave the boy 25 bits each to get the snacks with all 6 of them which gave the guys 150$ to spend.
The girls finished setting up and the guys where on the way back with food. They were all so excited to see each other again, and they couldn't wait to spend the night playing games, laughing and hanging with one another.
Sleep was not happening that night. The kids had way too much to discuss, all the plans they were going to make for the year, who, from their homelands, they hoped were gonna come to the school of friendship, and how their summer was.
The best part was that almost every creature was having a sugar rush. So it was a little chaotic.
It was now almost 12 am
Yona with one paw was holding onto the end of the balcony and with the other was h holding onto Gallus' wing, with his other, was hooked to Smolders, who was hooked to Sandbar, who was hooked onto Ocellus, who was hooked to Sliver.
The 6 had been dangling from the balcony trying to make a creature bridge from the end of the balcony to the tree branch closest to them.
“ ok, guys one more time and we almost got it” Sandbar cheered.
“ Silver make sure to stretch ok you got this” Gallus added, “ Yona use the yak strength and give us a good push.”
“Gallus you could be a motivational speaker”
“ Shut up Smolder”
“Friends ready,” Yona asked getting into position
“Ready!!!” They all cheered.
“3…”
Yona pushed them back and the Winged creature cupped their wings to get more power,
“2..” Then the Yak moved them forward and Silver got ready to grip the tree branch.
“1!!”
They swung up, Sliver with all of her strength Wrapped her wing around the tree
“I got it guys!!! I got it!!!!”
Everyone cheered at their accomplishment, Yona, using her paw started to bounce the line up and down, causing multiple whoas, Wees, and laughter.
“ Guys I’m not sure how much longer this branch can hold us,” Silver said between laughs
“ Hold on for just one more second” Ocellus's horn glowed blue as a camera appeared out of nowhere
“ uh, Ocellus? Where did you get the camera from?” Sandbar asked
“My parents gave it to me before I left. I had told them I wanted to make a scrapbook so they bought me a camera”
“ Cool what photos do you have too far”
“ Just a few of the train ride here, I got some nice ones I’ll show you guys later”
A grunt came from the hippogriff who seemed to be struggling “ Celly that’s cool but can you take the picture now, not sure how much longer I can hold on”
“ Oops sorry “ Ocellus quickly snapped the photo. Right after the picture was taken the branch started to snap. Silver watched as a line quickly formed between the branch and the tree.
“ oh shit”
There was a Loud snap followed by screams.
1:30am Cards Against Humanity was a game. Sandbar had introduced to them last year.
Smolder read the black card“What would make the world better?”
Everyone looked through their cards, trying to pick the best one to play. After Smolder got five cards, she began to read aloud.
“ using pickles for a bun instead of bread ”
“Traveling to another dimension”
“World War III”
“Restoring the hi-“ Smolder couldn’t finish the sentence before she started busting out laughing
“ Ocellus is this your card?”
The dragon started to laugh more
“What does it say?”
Sandbar grabbed the card “Restoring the hi—ve to its former Glory”
Not even a second later the group erupted into laughter. Ocellus’s face turned a shade of pink
“Holy shit— is it actually your card?” Gallus asked Ocellus chuckled “Umm yes”
Nobody could stop laughing for about five minutes after that
3 am
One of the best parts about his friends coming back was that he could tell them stupid stories that happened while they were gone. Sandbar told them everything that happened while they had been gone, all the dumb questions he got, the random stuff that people in the town were doing, and the pranks that were pulled daily by Pinkie and Raindowdash. He basically tells his life story to these creatures. And they love it.
" Half of the ponies are running, Twilight and Applejack are trying to catch it before it destroys anything, Rarity was just standing there looking like she was just done with it while Fluttershy hid behind her tail, and Pink and Rainbow were on the ground laugh with Discord while a Rubber duck bigger than the castles roll trough town." Sandbar could barely talk as he began to laugh remembering everything that happened that day.
" Wait, he did that all because Professor Applejack said Fluttershy could do better!!" Sliversteam said between laughs.
"Ok, but she totally could" Smolder added.
The treehouse began to shake with force as the kids heard a loud growl "I heard that" Discord hissed from somewhere in the house.
4 am Music was blasting, Gallus and Sandbar were playing cup pong, and the girls were playing 'Sorry'
Yona took a deep breath as she watched Ocellus knock her piece off the board for the 5th time. "If Ocellus moves Yonas thing one more time Yaks will declare war on Changelings" she huffed
"Oh please Yaks wouldn't last a second in the desert" Ocellus chuckled
"Bug don't know what Yaks can do"
"Maybe not, but I do know last time Rutherford had to visit the hive Thorax had to use an enactment to surround him with snow because it was too hot. He had just gotten off the train."
" then Prince Rutherford not go if he want to be baby, Yona will lead and defeat you"
"All hail Princess Yona"
The other three looked at each other mildly concerned
6:45
The sun was beginning to rise over Ponyvill, every creature had fallen asleep only hours ago. The rays of sunlight shined through the window hitting Sandbars eyes causing the young pony to be pulled out of sleep. He groaned as he rubbed his face. When he was somewhat awake he scanned the room.
He was surrounded by pillows with Yona was asleep next to him, there were empty cans and wrappers everywhere, he was gonna have a lot of fun cleaning that up. He looked around at his friends next, Smolder was wrapped up in a blanket and lying on the couch sound asleep, she looked so comfy it was a little funny. Ocellus was on the other side but this changeling was only half on the sofa; her head and half her torso were, but the rest had slipped onto the floor.
Loud snoring caught his attention, Gallus was sprawled out on the floor; his body all twisted up as if he had just fallen from a 12-story building; Sandbar held back a laugh at the sight. Carefully, to not wake up the sleeping creatures, he got up.
Where's Silverstream he asked himself looking around for the pink hippogriff he realized she was nowhere to be seen. Is she already awake He waited a second to see if he could hear her anywhere.

Nothing complete silence. Did she leave?
Sandbar decided to check outside, as he opened the door to the outside he had to shield his face from the rising sun hitting his eyes. When could see again he started to walk around.
As he walked he enjoyed the scenery around him. The sky was becoming a nice baby blue, the green on the leaves looked beautiful, the branches danced slightly in the wind. he wouldn't admit it to anybody but he loved nature, a lot.
Sandbar was about halfway around the treehouse the young bird lying on the ground facing the sky. Did she fall asleep here?
As he got closer a smell hit his nose, he wasn't sure where it was coming from, but it was bad. "Silverstream" he whispered
The young griff was not asleep because she turned around almost immediately and looked at her friend. " oh hiii Sandy" Silver looked she put something in her hair but Sandbar couldn't tell.
"Then since yesterday. Since yesterday is how long I've been awake"
Sandbar looked at his friend, she looked over really tired with bags under her eyes. but her eyes looked alive, very alive, Her eyes looked a little red and puffy. " Um Sil?"
Before he could speak Silverstream cut him off " Are you the first one up" she started pacing around, flapping her wings but not taking off. " Yes are-"
" Do you wanna go to Sugar Cube Corner? I'm going to need coffee if I'm going to make it through the day"
" Since when do you like coffee?"
" Hey what time is it"
" around 7 I think. I can go wake up-"
" Sandy knock knock"
he rolled his eyes "Who's there?"
She had a big smile on her face "Annie"
" Annie who"
"Annie thing you can do I can do better! Race you to Sugar Cube Corner"
She took off like a bullet towards town
Sandbar stood there for a second not knowing what to do.
"Sandbar?" a voice called out. He looked over towards the blinding Sun as he saw a blue figure approach.
" hey Gallus, you just wake up?"
"yeah, you?"
“Been but for a bit, the stupid sun woke me up”
Gallus shook his fist in the air “Damn that sun for shining“
Sandbar chuckled “Are the girls up?”
“Nah except Silverstream but I’m not sure where she went”
“She was gone when I woke up too, I went to look for her and found her outside but she was acting weird, and she didn’t even sleep”
Gallus raised a brow “It’s Silverstream..how weird can she act that’s out of the norm for her?”
Sandbar explained the whole encounter from start to finish
“Then she just flew off”
Gallus thought for a moment “Well she is usually hyper in the morning”
“Yeah, but she gets tired when she doesn’t sleep so how can she have THAT much energy? Plus her eyes were really red, like she was on something”
“She was probably rubbing her eyes man I think you’re overthinking it. She’s probably fine”
“ yeah…yeah I guess”
Gallus padded him on the shoulder “Come on let’s go wake up the girls and go to sugar cube corner”
Sandbar agreed and they started to make their way back into the tree house
“Also when you woke up did you see the way Ocellus was sleeping” Gallus whispered
Sandbar chuckled “Yes we have to get a picture of that before she wakes up. It’s the perfect thing to put in the book thing she is making.”
8:30 am
The 5 friends were slowly making their way to Sugar Cube corner
“Man this town is busy for so early in the morning,” Gallus noticed
“It’s 8:30, People have jobs to get to” Sandbar explained
Smolder yawns rather loudly “I don’t know why you two had to wake us up so early in the morning”
“I don’t know why it took you so long to wake up” Gallus stated
“Hey I’m a heavy sleeper”
“We pushed you off the couch and you didn’t even flinch”
" You gotta try harder than that buddy" Smolder yawned again "I'm still so tired I could sleep for 5 years"
" that's too bad cuz we’re here”
Smolder looked up at the cupcake sign with the writing sugarcube corner on it
“Oh. Damn”
The bell dinged as the 5 creatures entered the bakery. Gallus and Yona immediately got in line to order while the rest found a table to sit and chill.
“I thought you said Silverstream was here” Ocellus questioned looking around.
“That’s where she said she was going, maybe she already left” Sandbar guessed
Smolder watched as one Miss Cake began to make her way to the kitchen
“I’ll go ask Miss Cake,” Smolder said. She then got up and began to follow said store owner.
In any other cafe, it would be rude and weird to just randomly walk into their kitchen without permission, but the kids knew Pinkie, and Pinkie knew the Cakes, so they had been given permission to come around anytime. It took a bit of getting used to but now it’s just normal
Smolder walked into the kitchen and stood in the doorway for a moment not sure what to do.
“Umm excuse me, Miss Cake”
The Baker pulled her head out of the fridge to see who was calling her name. When she looked she saw the young dragon standing in the doorway
“Oh, Smolder deary! It’s lovely to see you, how have you been”
“I’m good how are you”
“I’m doing wonderful are you here with your friends?”
“Yeah we wanted to stop by and grab some breakfast”
“Sweetie you don’t have to stand in the doorway you can come in a bit” Miss Cake Smiled warmly “In fact, I have some gems I’ve been keeping for you, one second let me grab them” Smolder walked over to the island and leaned against the hardwood
The blue earth pony trotted over to the pantry and pulled out a box “ I wasn’t sure if Dragons had certain ones they liked, so I just guessed”
The young dragon was a bit taken back by the assortment of gemstones, “Thanks Miss Cake, but I have a quick question, have you seen Sliverstream Yknow the Pink overly hyper hippogriff”
“Oh yes she was just hear this morning, I was wondering why she came all alone but she seemed to be in a bit of a hurry”
Miss Cake set the square brown box on the counter “Anyway here is the box deary. Now I’d love to stay in chat, but I have a lot of baking that needs to be done.”
When Smolder looked into the box her mouth began to water. I love Equestria
it looked like a rainbow had thrown up. It had all different colors, shining and ready to be eaten. Smolder was about to know what heaven tasted like.
“Thank you Miss Cake, and don’t worry I understand Have a good day”
“You too deary! Oh and I must say it’s nice that SilverStream is trying new things”
Smolder stopped halfway out the door “Huh what do you mean”
Miss Cake cleared her throat “Well she just ordered coffee that’s it. 3 cups of black coffee, must say very different from what she used to order”
Smolder was now a little confused “ Huh that is a little interesting. You don’t by chance know where she went?”
Miss Cake shook her head “ Sorry deary”
“It’s all right have a good day”

Smolder had gone back to the group holding the box Miss Cake had given her
"Sandbar I love ponies" she expressed with delight. She set the box on the ground, as she sat next to Ocellus who was enjoying a coffee cake.
"I walk in there seeing if she has seen Silverstream and she just hands me a box of gems! just like that!! I didn't have to steal them or fight her to the death. She just gave them to me"
"That's really nice Smolder but while you were giving things you don't deserve did you find out where Silverstream is?" Gallus asked, He attempted to grab one of the gems before the young dragon swiped the box out of his reach
"I didn't find out where she is, but Cake did say she was here. But when she was here all she ordered was coffee, pure black coffee! No flavor! Like her taste in guys"
"Fuck that suppose to mean?"
" Since when does she drink coffee?" Ocellus wondered
Smolder shrugged maybe but it wasn’t just 1 cup, it wasn’t just 2 cups, but it was 3 cups!!! who needs that many cups. She’s already hyper enough” the young dragon threw her hands in the air
Smolder grabbed a gem from her box and crushed it in her hand, she then grabbed the coffee cake in front of her and sprinkled it on top of the dessert.
"Where we think Hippogriff is?" Yona asked
"pbebl a soo" Smolder tried to say with her mouth full
Yona look confused trying to understand what she said, Gallus noticed and translated for her "She said probably at school" Yona nodded in understanding
"Smolder please dont talk with your mouth full," Ocellus asked whipping crumbs off the table "You're getting crumbs everywhere"
Smolder swallowed her food "Oops, sorry"
" Well, I hope Sils hungry because I got her a cake pop. She likes these right?" Gallus asked looking at Yona who nodded "Silverstream had a bunch in the dorm room last year"
"Did Yona tell friends about the time Yona got trapped in a snow cave"
Everybody looked at the yak who took a sip of her hot chocolate. "Um No.."
"Oh then let Yona tell. It all started in the middle of the night in Yakyakastain"
After a very long, confusing, and Interesting conversation, the gang decided to head back to the school to find Silverstream. It was a nice day in ponyvill and lots of ponies were out today, may of them staring at the kids.
"Why do so many ponies keep staring at us" Ocellus asked
"Because we're awesome, because we saved the world, and because we look good" Gallus boosted, Gallus was loving the stares and attention him and his friends were receiving.
"You like it now, but wait till you are running for your life from a mob of fans trying to take pictures and asking you weird question's" Sandbar recalled
"Yona guessing Sandbar speaks from experience"
"Yeah..."
"I dont think it will get that bad"
Sandbar, wanting to avoid confrontation, just rolled his eyes and kept quiet
As they walked to the front of the school, they saw Terramar pacing back-and-forth by the entrance.
“Hey Terramar” Sandbar waved
“Where is Silverstream” he asked frantically
Smolder scarfed dramatically “No hi, hello, how are you”
The young hippogriff roll his eyes “hi hello how are you, where is SilverStream? Better?”
Smolder nodded her head approvingly “ she left before most of us we’re up”
“This morning she said she was going to go to Sugar Cube Corner” Gallus recalled “She could’ve gone to her dorm”
“How was she acting? Was she ok?”
Every creature looked at Sandbar since he was the only person to have actually seen her today
“She was acting normal I guess, hyper as usual. Why?”
“ Just wonder..come on let’s go see if she’s in her dorm, umm where is her dorm”
“Follow us terry” Smolder said opening the doors to the school
