When a Saiyan finds him stranded in Equestria after being in suspended animation for 52 years he must choose between his nature and new feelings of friendship.
When the Saiyan warrior Rodas (Power Level 7,536) volunteers for an experiment to test suspended animation technology before the destruction of planet Vegeta he had no idea that when his cryo-pod was found by Lord Frieza after the tournament of power that he would be left for dead without any way to leave the planet, but with the help of Twilight Sparkle and her friends Rodas will begin to appreciate a world at peace and awaken a new power thought only to be a legend.
In the depths of space Lord Frieza's personal mother ship orbited above a planet that the Frieza force was currently in the process of selling, in the mess hall on board the ship a lone Saiyan sat at a table by a window looking out the window at the planet bellow his dark eyes looking into his own transparent reflection. "Hay Rodas." A voice called from behind him, the Saiyan turned his head looking into the room from the window seeing a tall dark blue skinned muscular male with three horns in the center of his forehead.
"What do you want Drakk?" Rodas asked in the usual aggressive tone that Saiyan's used when they were annoyed as his face twisted into a snarl.
"No need to be so aggressive, we're all friends here." Drakk said sitting opposite Rodas and throwing an arm over the back of the empty seat next to him.
"Sure we are, and King Vegeta is a super Saiyan." Rodas said flatly.
"Whatever, science division needs volunteers to trial some new tech and I here there going to pay anyone who signs up quite well, if you're interested we could go sign up together what do you say?" Drakk asked leaning in closer.
Rodas looked to the window again for a long moment. "I don't know, I'm a warrior not a scientist Drakk." Rodas said resting his chin on his knuckle still looking out the window.
"That's the best part though, their testing Cryo-sleep technology, all we have to do is say we're interested go on ice for a few years and it's an instant payday when we wake up." Drakk explained.
"A few years on ice hu, why didn't you say so. I've been looking for a way to get away from my crazy ex." Rodas said getting up from his seat, Drakk also got t and began walking with Rodas to the ship's on board science lab. when the two arrived they explained why they were there to the lead science officer in charge and after they signed some paperwork they were led to the experimental Cryo-pods placed inside and frozen, but the following year that planet Vegeta was destroyed by none other than Frieza himself with the only surviving pure blooded Saiyans being Prince Vegeta the 4th his attendant Nappa their team mate Raditz, Raditz's baby brother Kakarot, Broly his father Paragus and of cores Rodas had also survived being in cryo-sleep at the time but it wasn't like anyone would remember a low-class warrior when they vanished into thin air one day a year before planet Vegeta's destruction.
It was a warm afternoon in Ponyville the skies were clear the birds chirped happily and Fluttershy was putting food out for her animal friends that she was treating back to health from one ailment to another. The day had been quite uneventful thus far, well except for another pony or two thanking her for the part she had played in defeating Nightmare Moon only a few days ago which made her hide behind her pink main, after she had finished putting the animal feed out for her friends Fluttershy took the bag of food back into her house and began making her own food ready for later due to it being a bit too warm for eating at the moment. "I'm going to see what my friends are doing today Angel, behave while I'm gone." She said walking out the door as the small white rabbit gave her a military salute.
When Fluttershy arrived in town she caught a glimpse of a distinct cowpony hat next to a head of dark hair that hat a purple and pink streak running through it and began walking over, after only a few moments she got close enough to see a her friends clearly and over heard a bit of what they were talking about. "I'm telling ya, I know what I saw Twi." Applejack said in a clearly frustrated tone as she face palmed.
"Oh come on A.J, you don't expect me to believe you saw a black and white flying saucer with yellow lumps on it and one central window, not even Spike would believe that." Twilight said in response as the two looked over a fruit stand.
"Maybe you forgot in the last few days, but the element of honesty chose me to be it's new bearer, so you know basically I don't lie." Applejack said only getting more annoyed at the Canterlot bookworm.
"Hi guys what are you talking about?" Fluttershy asked hoping to put a stop to this argument before they drew unwanted attention.
"Applejack thinks she saw an alien and a flying saucer last night." Twilight explained putting her hands on her hips.
"And I did." Applejack said almost getting into Twilight's personal space.
"Come on Twilight, Applejack is the element of honesty right, that means she must have seen something looked like an alien and a flying saucer." Fluttershy said placing a soft hand on each of there shoulders.
"Really Shy, your taking her side after I went out my way to bring you those heavy bags of animal feed this morning?" Applejack asked with a raised eyebrow.
"It's not like that." Fluttershy said raising her hands defensively. "I just don't want us to fight now that we're the new element bearers." She added bashfully.
"Fair enough Shy, I'm sorry for blaming you sugar cube." Applejack said pulling Fluttershy into a strong hug almost crushing her.
"I guess we can always talk about this another time." Twilight said reluctantly. "So... lunch, I'll pay?" Twilight asked.
"Well how can I say no to that." A.J said with a smirk.
Meanwhile in space a Frieza force ship was rapidly approaching Equis getting closer with every passing second. "Hay Doc, remind me what we're doing with this Saiyan?" The ship piolet asked not tacking his eyes from the empty space before him as stars passedthem as little more than blurs.
The doctor a thin light blue skinned female looked to the piolet of the ship for a moment before turning back to the unconscious Saiyan before her. "We are to drop him off in safe area and leave." the Doctor answered administering a strong sedative to keep Rodas under.
"Fair enough, but I thought Lord Frieza hated Saiyans and wanted to kill what's left of them?" the piolet asked.
"He dose, but after that brut Broly went out of control on Earth he wants to see what this Saiyan is capable of and if he may be useful in the future." the Doctor said. The two spent the next few hours in relative silence of say for the odd comment of how the sleeping Rodas was doing, when they arrived at Equis they dropped Rodas off in a field near an all too familiar settlement.
Some time later.
Fluttershy was in her living room reading a book she had borrowed from Twilight, the book was a romance novel that Rarity had recommended about a forbidden love between two rival clans she was just getting into the part where the love interest of the main character was introduced when a sudden hard knock kame from the door.
Going to the door Fluttershy opened it to find one of the bears she knew on the other side. "Oh hello Mr.Bear, is something wrong?" She asked, but the bear pointed a claw back towards a fiald with a grown. "What, there's something you want me to see?" She asked and the bear nodded.
A short time later Fluttershy and the bear stood before the unconscious body of the Saiyan Rodas, she looked at the alien in wide eyed amazement as he lay there out cold wearing only his Freiza force battle armor which was made of out dated materials, the comically large shoulder pads making him look ridiculous to Fluttershy. "Oh my." She said looking over the sleeping alien unaware of how dangerous he truly was when awake. "Mr.Bear could you carry him on your back to my house?" She asked and the friendly bear nodded.
After some effort Fluttershy managed to get the unconscious Saiyan onto the back of the bear and back to her house, when they got there they placed Rodas on the couch and Fluttershy went straight to Twilight's library to tell her about the alien currently sleeping in her living room.
Rodas slowly regained consciousness his vision blurry as he slowly sat up, as his vision returned he realized that he wasn't onboard the Frieza force ship that he remembered being on before going on Ice. "What the hell, where am I?" Rodas asked as his vision cleared in it's own time, he could tell that he was in someone's house. Looking around he found an unsettling amount of pink and green furniture leading him to the realization that he was in the house of a female who he guessed was signal due to the clear lack of any male presence . "How did I get here, and where is my scouter?" Rodas asked as he tried the door handle finding it locked, of course he rip the door off it's hinges at any time he wanted but he wanted to look around a bit more before leaving and blowing the house into pieces.
Leaving the locked front door behind him he walked over to the kitchen which was clearly visible on the other side of the room through an empty door way. "Might as well get some food in me while I can I don't want to fight on an empty stomach again." He said only to be stopped by a small fluffy creature with long ears, he looked at it for a few moments as it definitely looked back at him putting its small paws on its waist in the same his ex used to when they argued. Rodas looked at Angel with a wicked grin and ran at him at a speed only a trained eye could see and kicked the small white rabbit like a football into the kitchen cupboard. "Serves you right for reminding me of my ex." The Saiyan said as he went into the kitchen and began rummaging for food.
Meanwhile in Ponyville.
Fluttershy threw open the door of Twilight's library finding her with Applejack hand the two mares kissing for some reason, Fluttershy's face went red with embarrassment at the sight of her friends shamelessly touching each other. "If you two were going to do something like this then you need to lock the door." Fluttershy said looking away, Twilight and A.J both got an out of control blush on their faces at the sight of Fluttershy.
Quickly stepping away from each other Twilight while Fluttershy was looking away. "What's the matter Shy?" A.J asked looking at the quickly darkening a sky seeing it would be night soon.
"One of my animal friends found some guy in and I don't know what he is, but then I remembered you two were talking about aliens so I thought it might be the one Applejack saw earlier." Fluttershy explained quick her face still red from embarrassing sight of her friends kissing.
"Wait you've seen the alien?" Twilight asked walking forward to turn Fluttershy around and grabbing her by the shoulders to look her in the eye, Fluttershy started to shrink away from Twilight due to the sudden contact and still having confidence issues around others especially with physicals contact.
"There's an alien in my house." Fluttershy squeaked out in a whisper.
Applejack separated Twilight from Fluttershy. "Jeez Twi look at what your doing to the poor mare, you know Shy still has trouble with other ponies touching her." Applejack said putting a little space between them so Fluttershy could calm down. "Now Twi, it sounds to me like we need to go to Shy's house." A.J said as she walked through the open door with Twilight and Fluttershy following her.
"So Shy this thing you found, it has purple skin with green poker dots with black body armor right?" Applejack asked as the three walked down the street towards Fluttershy's house.
"What, no the one I found earlier has white skin, light grey armor with a blue body suit." Fluttershy explained floating along just next to the other.
"Wait, you found a different one?" Twilight asked when suddenly Rainbow Dash landed next to them.
"Hi guys, why are you out so late?" Rainbow Dash asked following the group.
"Fluttershy fond an alien, and its currently out cold in her house." A.J explained bro fisting with Dash.
"No shit, an actual alien, I got to see this." Rainbow said following the group the rest of the way to Fluttershy's house, when they arrived at the cottage Fluttershy of unlocked the front door finding the room empty and Angel out cold in the kitchen as well as most of the food being gone with the back door having been ripped off it's hinges. "What the hay happened here." Rainbow said looking around at mess left behind by Rodas while Fluttershy cradled Angel in her arms.
"Up stairs is clear yawl." Applejack said coming back down from her search of the up stairs.
"Down stairs is clear as well." Twilight said coming back from the wash room.
"Girls we have a problem." Dash said coming back from the kitchen.
"What is it?" Twilight asked.
"The back door has been ripped off it's hinges." Rainbow answered.
"Your joking right, the kind of strength a pony would need to do that is crazy." Twilight said crossing her arms in disbelief.
"Twi, I think your forgetting that we're looking for an alien not a pony." Applejack said walking to the back door with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy with Twilight following a moment later, when they were out side they found the door in a nearby bush. "God damn, not even Big Mack could rip a door off its hinges, and he's one of the strongest ponies around." A.J said looking at the door.
As the girls looked around Rodas looked down at them from 50 feet in the air. "I knew the locals would return sooner or later... they don't look that strong, but then again the last time I picked a fight with a weak looking race I ended up being saved by Bardock's team." Rodas thought to himself as he considered his next move.
"I don't know you guys, I think this alien is gone." Rainbow said looking around, not flying high enough to to spot Rodas.
"Good, they speak galactic common, that should make communication a lot easier, that being said I think I may have to swallow my pride for a while, at least for a while as get these fools to trust me." Rodas thought as a devious smile crossed his face as he began to slowly descend to the ground. "Greetings, natives." Rodas said as he landed making the four mares turn around in surprise.
The girls turned on the spot seeing Rodas standing there arms crossed as he waited for them to speak, Rainbow was going to say something when Fluttershy unexpectedly spoke up. "You hurt Angel!" Fluttershy shouted.
"An... gel?" Rodas said confused.
"The rabbit." Applejack said pointing to the knocked out bunny in Fluttershy's arms.
"Oh that thing, it made an offensive gesture to my kind, so I responded appropriately." Rodas said lying through his teeth, Fluttershy looked at the unconscious wounded rabbit in her arms then to Rodas then back to Angel.
"Did Angel really offend you so badly that you had to hurt him?" Fluttershy asked giving Rodas her infamous glare.
"No, the gesture it made, I should have killed it, but I decided not to." Rodas said continuing the lie.
"The gesture is really that bad?" Fluttershy asked now looking at Rodas as if she was in the wrong.
"Yes." Rodas answered.
"I'm, I'm sorry I had no idea that Angel had offended you." Fluttershy said in a whisper that Rodas only just managed to hear.
"Speak up woman, I could barely hear you!" Rodas border line shouted getting annoyed.
"Hay leave her alone." Rainbow said flying up into Rodas's personal space.
"Rainbow, he's an alien. He might not understand owe social cues and customs." Twilight said separating Dash from Rodas.
"I really want to kill this rainbow haired bitch, but I don't have any way off this world yet, so I'll have to play nice." Rodas thought. "My apologies, I did not mean any offence." Rodas said putting his hands up defensively.
"Well, ok then, but leave Shy alone from now on." Rainbow said crossing her arms.
"Fine by me." Rodas said reluctantly.
Twilight stepped up to the Saiyan looking up at the powerful alien. "I'm Twilight Sparkle, what's your name?" Twilight said offering a hand.
"My name is Rodas, and I'm a Saiyan warrior from planet Vegeta before you ask." Rodas answered hesitantly shaking her hand. "Yes that's right, put your trust in me, it'll be easier to kill you later." Rodas thought as he finished shaking her hand.
Applejack stepped forwarded also offering a hand. "I'm Applejack." She said and Rodas shook her hand as well.
"And I'm Rainbow dash." Rainbow said staying by Fluttershy rather than shaking Rodas's hand.
"So, you said Your a Saiyan?" Twilight asked slowly walking around the space warrior.
"That's right." He answered keeping an eye on Twilight to make sure she didn't grab his tail and discover his weakness.
"Well I think you owe Fluttershy an apology." Applejack said walking up to him.
"Why?" Rodas asked with growing annoyance.
"Because, you ripped the door off its hinges and hurt her pet." Applejack explained placing her hands on her hips.
"Damn you, I'm already swallowing my pride going through with this act." Rodas thought to himself as he walked over to the yellow mare. "I'm sorry for damaging your home and hurting your pet." Rodas said giving a respectful bow.
"It's ok, you were just scared and confused because you didn't know where you were." Fluttershy said softly smiling up at him.
"Damn it too cute." Rodas thought looking at the warm and kind look on Fluttershy's face.
"Well guys it's getting late so I'm heading home." Rainbow said flying off.
"Fluttershy is it alright if I stay here tonight, to help you fix the door?" Applejack asked.
"Yes, your more than welcome to stay." Fluttershy said going with Applejack back to the house.
"So, I guess that leaves us, there's a guest bed in my basement if you want it?" Twilight asked looking at the muscular alien.
"I don't really have much of a choice do I" Rodas asked in response crossing his arms.
"Not if you want to sleep out side, just follow me and we'll be there in no time." Twilight said leading the way back to Ponyville.
The following morning Rodas woke up on a small bed in the basement of the Golden Oaks Library. "Where am I, oh that's right." Rodas said getting off the bed he could see his battle armor on the dresser next to the bed and put it on over the top of his blue body suit. "Remember Rodas, play nice with the locals, at least until a Frieza force scout ship comes by again and you can get back to planet Vegeta." Rodas said to himself as he walked over to the stairs leading to the library. when he opened the door he took in the sight of a circular room with a table and chairs in the middle of the room with a stair case spiraling up to a first floor with book shelves filled with books, he then smelled something like cooked food coming from a side room. "That smells good." he thought as he walked to the kitchen/dining room he saw Twilight sitting at the table still wearing her night gown while a small purple lizard was making toast.
Twilight looked up from the book in her hands with wide eyes as Rodas walked into the room. "Good morning Rodas, take a seat." Twilight said pulling a chair out next to her.
"Thank you." Rodas said sitting down, he then glanced at the lizard. "What is that?" He asked pointing at Spike.
"Oh, that's Spike, he's my assistant." Twilight explained.
"Only your assistant Twi?" Spike asked looking back to the table for a moment and froze when he saw Rodas sitting next to Twilight. "Twi what's that thing sat next to you?" Spike asked turning back to the toast.
"Oh this is Rodas, he's an alien." Twilight said looking at Rodas.
Spike stopped what he was doing and turned to look at Rodas. "No way, your an alien?" Spike asked.
"Yes, I'm a Saiyan warrior from planet Vegeta." Rodas answered finding himself somewhat amused by the excitement of the young drake.
"Wow, I never thought I'd meet an alien." Spike said.
"Believe me you don't want to meet any others." Rodas said letting his pride swale up from the admiration of the young dragon.
"So do you have a space ship?" Spike asked excitedly.
"Sadly no, the last thing I recall was being put into suspended animation, then waking up in, it was Fluttershy right?" He asked looking to Twilight who nodded while reading. "Yeah so after that I woke up in Fluttershy's house with no memory of how I got there." Rodas explained.
"Wait, you were in cryo-sleep?" Spike asked.
"I was, but I don't know for how long, it could have been a year, two or even a hundred." Rodas said crossing his arms.
"That's so awesome." A voice said from the open window, the three looked and saw Rainbow dash leaning in listening into the conversation between twilight, Spike and Rodas.
"Rainbow, didn't anypony ever tell you its rude to ease drop on others?" Twilight asked getting up from her seat and walking to the window.
"I know, but come on he's an alien, I just had to know what was going on." Rainbow said through the window.
"Is this a normal occurrence?" Rodas asked leaning in towards Spike.
"Yeah, Rainbow doesn't seem to use doors." Spike explained.
"Oh right, say no more." Rodas said giving the young dragon a thumbs up under the table.
"Hay Rodas, do you want to help me and Applejack today?" Twilight asked as she yawned.
"Applejack, that's the one with the hat from last night right?" Rodas asked looking over to Twilight.
"That's right, I promised her I would help at the farm today." Twilight said as Spike brought a plate of toast to the table for Twilight.
"Well it's not like I have anything to do." Rodas said crossing his arms.
"That's great, and it means I can show you around Ponyville." Twilight said as she started to eat her breakfast, around an hour later twilight had gotten dressed wearing a purple vest with white shoulder straps, dark blue jeans and simple flat shoos. As the two walked through quiet streets of early morning Ponyville Twilight noticed that every time they passed a pony they would stair at Rodas without even trying to hide it, as they went through the marked a mint green mare with golden eyes who was dressed near identically to Twilight say for the colors rushed up to Rodas getting right in his face and looking him all over.
"I can't believe my luck, an actual human." the mare said without even introducing herself before she started touching Rodas to feel his muscular arms, which Twilight could tell from the bulging vain on his forehead was annoying him, suddenly the mare stepped away from Rodas when she saw his tail wrapped around his waist. "Wait humans don't have tails, why do you have a tail?" the mare asked pointing at Rodas.
"Because I'm a Saiyan, not a human." Rodas explained ready to blow a fuse.
"Lyra, pleas leave him alone." Twilight said as she watched him becoming visibly more angry.
"But he's a human, I've literally spent my whole life trying to prove to every pony that their real and now there's one in front of me." Lyra said pointing at Rodas who had finally reached his limit for what he was willing to put up with as he grabbed Lyra by the throat and lifted her of the ground.
"Let me make this clear, I am a Saiyan and if call me a human again I'll make you regret it." Rodas said dropping Lyra as he looked at Twilight. "So are we going to this farm or not?" He asked as Lyra walked of with slumped shoulders.
"Come on Rodas, lets go." Twilight said leading the way to the farm not noticing that Pinkie and Rarity had seen the exchange from Sugar Cube Corner.
"Pinkie darling, am I the only one seeing Twilight walking with a strange creature?" Rarity asked sitting at the window with Pinkie both mares following the sight of Twilight and the strange being they had never seen before as they walked towards the Applejack's farm.
"I see it, and you know what this means right?" Pinkie asked about to burst with exactment.
"No, I'm not sure I do." Rarity answered almost lost for words.
"It means I get to throw another welcome to Ponyville party, and it's only been a week since the one I did for Twilight." Pinkie said getting up and rushing into the kitchen.
About half an hour later Twilight and Rodas arrived at the farm and were greeted by Applejack who was wearing a green shirt under a brown jacket with cowboy trousers and boots. "Well howdy Twilight, I thought you were bringing Spike to help?" Applejack asked getting a better look at Rodas now that the sun was up.
"He'll catch up once his chores are done, so I brought Rodas to help up until Spike gets here." Twilight explained.
"Well I guess it wont hurt, have you ever apple bucked before Rodas?" Applejack asked turning to face the alien.
"No." Rodas answered.
"I thought as much, I'll show yawl how its done." Applejack said placing wooden buckets under a tree that had branches filled with apples, then she gave it a hard kick that shook the apples lose into the waiting baskets. "See its easy, and now we just take the buckets to the barn." Applejack said finishing her demonstration.
"Fine I guess I'll give it a try." Rodas said setting up the buckets but rather than kick the tree he did a one inch punch so that he didn't break it.
"Damn Rodas, a one inch punch you really are strong." Twilight said as she used her magic tp pick apples from another tree.
"Whatever, let's just got on with this." Rodas said picking up two buckets on his shoulders before running to barn and back in an instant due to his power level, some time later Spike showed up only to find that the work had already been finished thanks to Rodas's speed allowing them to work faster than normal.
"Sorry I'm late, I got held up in town." Spike said as looked around confused. "Wait, you guys have already finished, that's quicker than I thought it would take." Spike said looking at all the picked trees.
"Yep, turns out Rodas is really fast, thanks to his help we were able finish up faster than usual." Applejack explained as she sipped on some apple juice, suddenly Spike looked like he was going to be sick and belched out a burst of green flame that turned into a scroll.
"It's a letter from the Princess, what dose it say spike?" Twilight asked having a sip of her own juice, Spike read the letter out loud and when he was done he handed two golden tickets to Twilight, Rodas meanwhile was leaning up against the barn with his eyes closed trying not to listen, but that didn't stop him from catching bits and pieces of something called the Gran Galloping Gala, Rodas opened his eyes and walked over snatching one of the tickets from Twilight.
"What's so special about this golden paper?" Rodas asked looking at the ticket he'd swiped.
"That ticket is for the Grand Galloping Gala, it's the most important high society event of the year." Twilight explained as Rodas gave the ticket back.
"Say no more, I have no interest in such thing, I'm going back to the library now." Rodas said as he started walking off.
"Wait, your going to need this." Twilight said giving Rodas the key.
"Thanks." Rodas said walking off not knowing about the utter madness that would befall Twilight that day.
A few hours later.
Rodas had been in the basement rom since he got back and had been rearranging it into a more proper living space for the last few hours blissfully unaware of the chaos about to happen in the library. "There, all done." Rodas said feeling pleased with himself as he looked at the now tidy basement with Twilight's lab equipment on the opposite side of the room and all of the boxes that had once littered the room having been neatly put away into the utility cupboards lining the wall. Rodas then heard a sudden scream from up stairs. "What the hell was that." he said climbing the stairs into the library. When he opened the door he could see Twilight and her friends two of which he didn't recognize. "Would someone like to tell me what the hell is going on?" Rodas asked.
"Basically they all want to be Twilight's plus one to the Gala, but she can only take one of them and she doesn't know who to take." Spike explained.
"Um Twilight, who and what is that?" Rarity asked looking at Rodas being enamored by his muscular build and black hair that stood up in defiance of gravity without any hair gel.
"Oh right, it's been such a crazy day that I never got the chance to introduce you and Pinkie to Rodas, he's an alien that Fluttershy found yesterday." Twilight said.
"Ok introductions are over, now what are we going to do about the Gala tickets?" Rainbow said impatiently as she crossed her arms while hovering next to Fluttershy.
"How about you send them back and be done with this pointless bickering." Rodas suggested noticing that Rarity was giving him the look, while Pinkie just looked at him dumb struck unsure of what to say.
"Rodas your a genius, Spike fetch a quill and parchment." Twilight said and proceeded to send a letter and the two tickets back to Princess Celestia, only for Spike to belch up Celestia's response letter and six tickets, plus a letter with a ticket fore Spike a few moments later.
"Wait, what about Rodas?" Rarity asked looking over to the Saiyan who was leaning up against the wall with his eyes closed and arms crossed.
"I have no interest in attending such events." Rodas said keeping his eyes closed despite the fact that Pinkie was hopping on the spot right next to him asking a million questions a second.
"So, dinner?" Applejack suggested and the girls began shuffling out of the library followed by Spike while Rodas stayed behind. "That means you too Rodas, besides I still owe you for your help this morning." Applejack added leaning back in after she realized that Rodas wasn't with the group.
"Fine I'll come along, but I warn you Saiyans have a huge apatite." Rodas said reluctantly following Applejack to catch up with the others.
It had been a few days since Rodas had been found by Fluttershy and met her friends imparticular Twilight Sparkle who he was currently staying with for lack of better options, Rodas was currently walking with Twilight and Spike through the streets of Ponyville while Spike praised Twilight for her magical know how, only for Snips and Snails to crash into Spikes as they were running and carried him a little way off before stopping, after they stopped they mentioned a new Unicorn who was in town and claimed she knew more magic than any other Unicorn in Equestria. "Sounds like empty boasting to me." Rodas said as he looked at Twilight.
"So where is she?" Twilight asked.
"Town Squair, come on." Snails said rushing off followed by Snips.
"Might as well see what this is all about." Rodas said and followed Twilight, when they got there a large crawd had gathered around a wagon that folded out into a stage when a mare dressed as a magician with pointy hat and cape included called Trixie appeared on the stage and began boasting about her magic before humiliating Twilight's friends. "Cheap tricks, for a cheap show." Rodas said as he began walking off.
"What's the matter monkey, afraid of losing to the Great and Powerful Trixie?" the show mare said when she saw Rodas leaving from the front row, Rodas stopped in his tacks when he heard what she had called him.
Rodas turned on the spot and began powering up. "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME!!!" Rodas shouted so loud that he scared the whole crowd as a white arura of power flowed over his body pushing everything and everyone close to him away.
"What kind of magic is this?" Trixie said looking at the enraged Saiyan as he released his full power.
"Go on, call me that again, give me a reason to hurt you." Rodas said just about ready to kill the pony who had insulted him.
"Rodas calm down." Twilight called out, Rodas took a deep breath and powered down only to shoot off into the sky using the flying technique.
Rodas landed on mountain side cliff and began pacing back and forth. "The nerve of that damn pony, if I wasn't playing the long game I'd killed her for calling me that, seriously calling me that in public, it's one thing to put up with it from the Frieza force but from a damn weakling, she's lucky I have self control or I'd rip her limb from limb." Rodas said borderline shouting.
"Hay Rodas, are you ok, what happened back there seemed to get to you?" Rainbow asked landing next to him on the cliff.
"No, I'm not ok, I'm furius." Rodas said still pacing back and forth.
"Come on, it cant be that bad can it?" Rainbow asked.
"Oh it is that bad, what she just called me is the same as if I called pony a hours." Rodas explained turning his back to Rainbow Dash.
"Oh right, say no more I'll give you some space to cool off." Rainbow said as she took off.
"That would be for the best." Rodas said through gritted teeth. Later that night Rodas was still on the cliff, he hadn't moved from the spot since Rainbow left, he took a deep breath then opened his eyes. "Right, finally calmed down." Rodas said as he noticed it was night, then he suddenly he heard the sound of roaring coming from Ponyville. "What the hell." Rodas said walking over to the edge of the cliff and saw the Ursa Minor attacking the town. "Well I'll be damned, the thing really does exist." Rodas said watching the carnage unfold. "What kind of warrior would I be if I stayed up here where its safe." Rodas said flying back to Ponyville at his top speed not noticing the full moon in the sky.
Trixie, Snips and Snails were cornered by the Ursa Minor, Trixie's lightning spell having done nothing but anger the beast, it pulled back a paw to attack but before it could Rodas flew in and punched it off its feet onto its side. "Why, Why did you save Trixie after what I called you earlier?" Trixie asked as she looked on in amazement at the Saiyan floating in the air.
"I didn't do it for you, I did it for my pride as a warrior." Rodas said looking down at the show mare with rage in his eyes.
"Rodas look out." Twilight shouted as she got closer, Rodas turned back to the Ursa only to get hit by a paw shattering his battle armor ripping his body suit and sending him flying into a house, the Ursa the turned its attention back to Trixie, but a roar of challenge kame from behind the Ursa and everyone looked on in both amazement and horror as Rodas now looking at the full moon transformed into his Grate Ape form, when his transformation was complete he roared and pounded his colossal fists on his chest.
"Now you in for it beast, in the from I'm ten times as powerful as I am normally." Rodas said his voice now a thundering roar in its own right, the Ursa took one look at the Grate Ape snarled and attacked only for Rodas to dodge and pin the Ursa to the ground fully intending to repeatedly smash the Ursa's head into the ground until it was dead.
"Hold it down." Twilight said as she began to use her magic to put the Ursa to sleep get it milk then carry it off back to its mother, after that was done she and the other girls looked up at Rodas. "Rodas is that really you?" Twilight asked in amazement as she looked up at the Saiyan's monstrous transformation.
"Of cores it is, who else do you know wears armor like this." Rodas said pointing at himself, then he noticed his armor was broken. "Damn it, my armor is broken." Rodas said casually kicking a large rock many times the size of a pony away in frustration, by sun rise Rodas had turned back to his base form and was cheered by the citizens of Ponyville as well as Twilight as a hero for dealing with the Ursa.
"How did you transform like that?" Twilight asked as Rodas was trying to sleep.
"It's a Saiyan thing." Rodas said hiding his head under the bed sheets trying to get some rest after spending all night in his Great Ape form for nothing.
"Oh come on Rodas, you've got to explain how it works." Twilight said gently shaking him.
"Breerus damn it Twilight, I'll tell you but only after I've gotten some rest." Rodas said annoyed that she had been preventing him form sleeping for the last hour.
"Ok, but you'll tell me what your awake again right?" Twilight asked leaving the basement.
"Cross my heart." Rodas said as Twilight left him in silence to sleep.
It has been a few months since the incident with Trixie and the Ursa in that time Rodas resaved a new set of clothes made by Rarity to replace his damaged battle armor and body suit, the clothes he was given was a blue short sleeve t-shirt a set of lose fit grey trousers with a red fabric sash to go around the waist, black flat shoes, a pair blue seat bands witch were given to him by Rainbow not Rarity and lastly a white sleeveless long coat which had been sent to him by an anonymous sender in the mail.
The night of the Grand Galloping Gala is finally here Twilight and the Girls were at Rarity's shop the Carousel Boutique getting ready for the night of the Gala while Rodas waited out side the changing room with Spike "Come on you guys let us in." Spike said banging on the while Rodas waited patiently leaning against the wall behind him.
"Leave them be Spike, there changing." Rodas said as he watched the little dragon.
"Come on Rodas, we've been in the same room as them when they've changed before." Spike said like a whiny child.
"Yeah, when there was a curtain up between them and us." Rodas said calmly, the last few months in Equestria having done wonders for his stress levels and personality, think android saga Vegeta to GT Vegeta the SUB not the DUB.
"I guess your right Rodas, but I can't believe we forgot to get you a ticket too." Spike said turning around to face Rodas.
"Its fine, I didn't want to go any way." Rodas said dismissively.
"I know, it just feels wrong to leave you behind after every thing that's happened since the Ursa incident a few months ago." Spike said.
"Besides you'll be with them all night, and who know maybe I'll gate crash and show up half way through the night." Rodas said with a smirk.
"Yeah, Twilight won't like that." Spike said as he scratched the back of his head.
A few hours later.
"Ok so your not going to follow us to the Gala?" Twilight asked as she and the others waited for the stallions pulling their carriage to arrive.
"Even if I wanted to, which I don't, I don't have an invite so I wouldn't even get past the gates." Rodas said crossing his arms while looking down at Twilight.
"Really, you expect me to believe you would take the gates, even though you can fly?" Twilight asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Ok fine, I'll drop in and say hi, is that what you want to hear." Rodas said turning away from Twilight.
"You had better not, I still haven't figured out a way to tell Celestia your on this world." Twilight said putting a hand on Rodas's shoulder to turn him back to her.
"Don't take this the wrong way Twi, but that's a you problem." Rodas said with a cocky smirk.
"Hay Twi, the carriage is here." Applejack called from outside.
"Well don't just stand there go on go." Rodas said gently pushing her towards the door.
"Alright right Rodas I'm going." Twilight said rushing over to the carriage and closing the door as it pulled off, Rodas closed and looked the went up stairs to the balcony and watched as the carriage the girls were in disappeared into the distance heading to Canterlot.
"Good, now for phase two, gate crash that party." Rodas said opening the balcony window closing it behind him and flying high in the sky to Canterlot just behind the carriage carrying Twilight and her friends, when the carriage arrived Rodas face palmed when he saw the girls brake out into song and dance. "Would it kill them to go one day without a musical number." Rodas said feeling embarrassed for them. Rodas then stayed in the air above the castle watching the party and dodging the occasional firework when he saw Rarity in the garden by a rose bush with rather handsome stallion in a white tux, while the stallion was admiring his reflection in a water fountain Rodas landed behind Rarity. "So how's the blind date going?" Rodas asked quietly as not to alert the stallion.
"Badly." Rarity answered only to snap to attention and turn around when she realized who was behind her, quickly she pulled Rodas out of sight. "What are you doing here, You don't have a ticket?" Rarity asked in a panic looking around.
"Relax no one is going to see me and even if they do, it's not like they can catch me." Rodas said with a smirk as he spotted Fluttershy from the corner of his eye.
"That's hardly the point darling, you told us you were going to stay in Ponyvile." Rarity said sounding disappointed.
"Hay Rarity." Rodas said.
"What?" She asked annoyed at Rodas's uninvited appearance.
"Your blind date is is leaving." Rodas said pointing at Blue Blood as he walked back to the castle entrance and Rarity chased after him.
"Well that's one down, five to go." Rodas said sneaking over to where he saw Fluttershy and sure enough he found her strangely having no luck with the animals. "So any luck yet?" Rodas whispered into Fluttershy's ear after sneaking right up next to her.
"Rodas, what are you doing here?" Fluttershy whispered.
"Do have any idea how boring it is to play a board game with one player." Rodas said giving the yellow mare a look that said I was board out of my mind, before Fluttershy could say anything she saw an animal behind Rodas and chased after it. "Ok, bey, I guess." Rodas said as he watched Fluttershy round a corner and snag her dress a little. "Oh yeah, Rarity isn't going to like that after all the hard work she put into those dresses." Rodas thought jumping into the air and flying over the castle grounds again, after a while he saw Applejack at her stand with her head on the counter and landed in front of the stand tossing a few bits to his friend. "Two candy apples please." He said and Applejack immediately sat up.
"Rodas what are you doing here sugar cube?" Applejack asked.
"Two candy apples please." Rodas repeated pulling a Gala ticket from his pocket just enough to show AJ for just a second.
"How did yawl get one?" Applejack asked handing Rodas his candy apples.
"All in good time AJ." Rodas Said passing one of the candy apples to her. "Here you look like you could use a pick me up." He added.
"Well you ain't wrong sugar cube, sales just ain't been what I was expecting." Applejack said as they both ate the candy apples.
"Have you seen Rainbow, pinkie and Twilight?" Rodas asked.
"I saw Rainbow with the Wonderbolts, last I saw of Pinkie she was hanging around the musical band and Twilight is with Princess Celestia, Why did you want to know any way?" Applejack asked finishing the candy apple Rodas bought for her.
"Like I said, all in good time." Rodas answered as he finished his own candy apple and put the stick in a bin AJ had brought with her.
"Well I'm off then, see you later you crazy cowpony." Rodas said walking towards the castle entrance.
"You too, you alien warrior you." Applejack said her spirits renewed after talking with Rodas, Rodas showed the guards at the door his ticket and they let him in. "Now then, lets see who I can find next." Rodas said under his breath as several nobles gave him strange looks but he didn't care, in the distance he spotted Pinkie and began walking over to her, Rodas snuck up behind her and poked her under the ribs making her jump. "Got you Pinkie." Rodas said as the pink party mare turned around.
"Rodas what are you doing here?" Pinkie asked surprised to see him and even more surprised that her Pinkie sense didn't let her know he was here, but then again Rodas had always been undetectable by the Pinkie sense for some reason.
"This party's a little stiff, need some help livening it up?" Rodas asked not answering her question.
Pinkie got a wide smile on her face as she looked at the Saiyan. "Do you think you could hide my party cannon behind the stage?" She asked her smile growing impossibly large.
"Of cores I can I'm a Saiyan remember." Rodas said quickly taking the party cannon back stage using his speed and returning to Pinkie in the same instant "All done." Rodas said with a smile.
"My Saiyan." Pinkie said and they bro fisted before Rodas walked off into the crowed. Rodas searched the crowed looking for any sigh of Rainbow and after nearly half an hour before he got a glimpse of a rainbow tail through the crowed. "There's only one pony I know who sports that many colors." Rodas though as he made his way over and put his arm over Rainbow's shoulders. "So did you convince them to let you join yet?" Rodas asked looking directly at the Wonderbolts who looked back at him in wide eyed amazement having never seen a Saiyan before.
"And who are you?" Spitfire asked placing a seductive hand on Rodas's muscular chest. "Who me, I'm Rainbow Dash's friend, but I'm not even half as cool or as fast as she is." Rodas said hyping Rainbow up to the Bolts.
"What are you doing?" Rainbow whispered through gritted teeth.
"I'm hyping you up, now go on and show them what you've got." Rodas whispered back lightly shoving Rainbow forward with the hand he had over her shoulders until then, with a smirk Rodas watched as Rainbow talked with Spitfire at length. "Well I had better go see the Princess now." Rodas thought as he left Rainbow to bond with her role modals. "And now for the final surprise." Rodas thought as he made his way to Princess Celestia and Twilight he kame up that steps on Celestia's right and tuned to face the ponies greeting Celestia. "Mission success." Rodas said getting Twilight's attention.
"Rodas, what are you doing here?" Twilight asked looking at him as he stood on Celestia's other side with his arms crossed.
"All in good time Twilight?" Rodas said with a smirk, when suddenly all hell broke lose, Pinkie took over the music, Fluttershy chased a bunch of animals into the castle shouting. "Your going to love me!" Rodas and Celestia both looked on in amusement at the utter chaos that unfolded before their eyes. "Well, that wasn't part of the plan." Rodas said as he and Celestia stood outside of Pony Jo's.
"I know we didn't mean for things to get out of hand, but at least no pony got hurt." Celestia said looking slight up at the Saiyan who stood just a few inches taller than her if she didn't have a horn.
"Well there's nothing we can do about that, so we might as well come clean to them." Rodas said looking at Celestia who was preparing herself to seem composed and then she walked in, then he walked in a few moments later. "You guys should have seen your faces when I showed up." Rodas said pointing at the girls as he laughed his ass off.
"Rodas, you said you'd stay in Ponyville." Twilight said puffing out her cheeks in frustration as she glared at the alien.
"Well about that, me and the Princess here had a different idea." Rodas said shrugging his shoulders.
"Twilight I don't blame you for not telling me about Rodas sooner, after all he introduced himself and explained everything." Celestia said with a worm smile.
"But when did you meet the Princess, Rodas?" Pinkie asked looking the Saiyan as he stood next to Celestia with his arms crossed.
"Do you guys remember that young flyers competition in Cloudsdale a few months back?" Rodas asked.
"Yeah, I saved everypony and pulled off a sonic rainboom." Rainbow said with a cocky smile.
"Well after you guys went home I stuck around for a bit just to look around and I bumped in the Princesses before they went back to Canterlot, and as the saying go's the rest is history." Rodas explained as he pinched one of the uneaten doughnuts from the table.
"You could have said somethin." Fluttershy said softly as she sipped at the tea she had ordered.
"Indeed, you could have said something darling, I would have made you a nice tux." Rarity said finishing a piece of doughnut.
"Rarity I'll burn down your shop if you try putting me in a tux or any kind of formal clothes." Rodas said with a scowl as he turned his back to the girls.
"Well at least we had a good time." Pinkie said pulling the girls into a group hug, after everyone finished with their doughnuts and drinks the girls went back to Ponyville in their carriage while Rodas flew back on his own getting there before the girls and got home and took himself to bed.
It had been a few weeks since the Gala, and Discord had been dealt with, Rodas however didn't take part in defeating Discord due to him having found a strange cave in the Everfree that increased gravity the further in you go (basically Rodas's version of Vegeta's gravity room), by the time he came back to Ponyville the problem had already been resolved with Discord being transported back to Canterlot for safe keeping once more. In the days that hat passed Rodas has pulled back from interacting with Twilight and the others to train in the gravity cave he found in the Everfree on a daily basis from sunrise to sundown and the girls had noticed a changed in his personality going back to how it was when he first woke up in Equestria.
Rodas walked down the dark streets of Ponyville after another day of training going back to Twilight's treehouse he couldn't help but notice that the ponies were wearing costumes. "What the hell, why is everyone wearing such strange outfits." he thought as he passed a group of Phillis and Colts in costume, after a while Rodas got back to the library. "Twilight, I'm back." Rodas said as he kame into the main room only to see Spike dressed as a purple dragon even though he was one.
"Rodas, your back." Spike said running over to the Saiyan. "Are you coming with me and Twilight to celebrate Nightmare Night?" Spike asked looking up Rodas.
"Uh, what's Nightmare Night?" Rodas asked looking at Spike in confusion.
"Oh yeah, I forgot this is your first Nightmare Night." Spike said.
"That doesn't answer my question." Rodas said crossing his arms with a raised eyebrow.
"Nightmare Night is the is the celebration of Nightmare Moon's first appearance." Twilight said dressed in her Starswirl the bearded costume.
"Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, You look ridiculous Twilight." Rodas said pointing at Twilight.
"I'm Starswirl the bearded." Twilight said getting annoyed.
"Your forgetting I'm from another world Twi, and I don't know who your on about." Rodas said holding back laughter.
"Well it's not like I gave you books about him." Twilight said under her breath.
"And I told you, I can't read pony nonsense." Rodas said lowering his arms.
"Well are you coming with us?" Spike asked.
"I don't know, is it a full moon tonight?" Rodas asked looking at Twilight.
"No, it's supposed to be a moonless night." Twilight answered.
"Then I guess I am, although don't expect me to take part in whatever this is." Rodas said crossing his arms again. Not long later Rodas, Twilight and spiker were walking through Ponyville and Spike had amassed quite a bit of candy, Twilight was still going about Starswirl while Rodas just kept quiet looking at all the costumes he could see. After a while they arrived at town center where Applejack was hosting a bobbing apple game.
"Hi Twilight, Spike, Rodas." Applejack said standing by the bucket of apples. "Where's your costume Rodas?" She asked noticing that the Saiyan was in normal clothes.
"I don't care about this sort of thing." Rodas said crossing his arms while looking at Applejack dressed as a scarecrow, before the conversation could continue Mayor Mare began talking at the stage that had been built for the night telling all the foals to follow Zaccora to the statue where offerings of candy were made, Rodas was happy to stay in town but Twilight pulled on his arm to follow so he rolled his eyes and followed the group. At the statue Zaccora explained the story of Nightmare Night which Rodas found boring, after Pinkie and the foals left an offering the skies quickly turned dark as a storm formed and from the eye of the storm a dark chariot pulled by two bat pony night guards descended quickly, coming to a stop a few meters above the ground Pinkie and the young ones ran off while Rodas and Twilight returned to town in time to see a female cloaked figure jumped to the ground and landed throwing her head back to drop her hood as lightning cracked across the sky. "Damn, she knows how to make an entrance." Rodas said as he crossed his arms again.
Suddenly all the ponies say for Twilight bowed low to the ground in fear as Rodas looked at them with a raised eyebrow. " Princess Luna." Twilight said walking forward to greet the Princess of the night, before Spike pulled her to the ground and covered her mouth with a hand.
"Citizens of Ponyville, We have graced your tiny town with owe presents so that you might know the real Princess of the Night." Luna said in the Royal Canterlot voice, honestly she could give the Dragonborn a run for his money with that thing. "A creature of the night no longer, but instead a pony who desires your love and admiration, together we shall change this dreadful celebration into a bright and glorious feast." Luna said once again using the Royal Canterlot voice once more as lightning struck again.
"You had me at feast." Rodas thought feeling hungry.
Pinkie got up and said. "Did you hear that every pony, Nightmare Moon said she's going to feast on us all." She then proceeded to scream which made the kids scream and they ran away.
"What, no children no, you no longer have reason to fear us, screams of delight is what your Princess desires, not screams of terror." Luna said quickly turning to Mayor Mare.
"Damn, she's fully invested in that old speak." Rodas thought as he watched the train wreck of Luna trying to interact with others after 1000 years.
"Madam Mayor, thy Princess of the night hath arrived." Luna said scaring the poor mare moving her pointing finger from one pony to the next, while Rodas held back a snicker. "What is the matter with you"? Luna asked still pointing at random ponies. "Very well then, be that way, we won't even bother with the traditional royal farewell." Luna said walking of with her head held high despite her feelings.
"I'm going to talk to her." Twilight said getting up to leave only to be stopped by Spike.
"You can't talk to her, she's Nightmare Moon." Spike said as Twilight pulled her robe free from his claws.
"No she's not, I saw the Elements of Harmony change her back to good, but it seems she's having some trouble adjusting after being gone for a thousand years." Twilight said following in the direction that Luna had gone not even a minuet before.
"Spike I've never had to say this before, but grow a pair, what's one mare going to do with me here." Rodas said following Twilight to the candy offering statue that Luna had walked herself to, Twilight and Rodas found Luna sitting in the shadow of the statue.
"Princess Luna, hi, my name is." Twilight said but was cut off.
Star Swirl the bearded, thou even got the bells right." Luna said standing up to face her two guests.
"Thank you, finally some pony who gets my costume." Twilight said while Luna looked at them with a small thrown.
"It still looks stupid to me." Rodas said speaking up and catching Luna's attention.
"And who is thou?" Luna asked taking note of the alien, who she was yet to meet.
"I am Rodas, a Saiyan warrior from planet Vegeta." Rodas answered crossing his arms as he looked down at Luna, which wasn't surprising given that Celestia was taller than Luna and Rodas was taller than Celestia, even if just by a little.
"We came to welcome you to our celebration." Twilight said raising a friendly hand. "My actual name is."
"Twilight Sparkle." Luna said finishing the sentence for her. "It was thou who unleashed the powers of harmony upon us and took away our dark powers." Luna said in the Royal Canterlot voice.
"And that was a good thing right?" Twilight asked adjusting her hat and fake bearded.
"I get the feeling I missed something here." Rodas thought to himself staying silent.
"But of course, we could not be happier, is that not clear." Luna said getting into Twilight's personal space.
"Oh for the love of Beerus, can we just get on with this already." Rodas said growing inpatient with Luna's old speak. After a bit more talking mostly between Twilight and Luna the three went to Fluttershy's house to get her help in helping Luna speak with a softer voice, which didn't go so well due to Rainbow letting off some lightning as a prank buy Rainbow didn't get away unsaved because Rodas fired a low power KI blast at her that hit her in the back as she flew away, not enough to hurt her but powerful enough to make her take a break from pranking for a while, only for Pinkie to show up and caules a scan again.
The two Ponies and the Saiyan then returned to town to find Applejack, just as they found her she saved Pipsqueak from falling into the bobbing apples bucket only to turn around and be faced with Luna making her drop to the ground in fear. "Uh Applejack the Princess is looking for a little advise on how to fit in around here." Twilight said as she got down to lean in close to Applejack to speak.
"Fit in, really?" Applejack asked and got a mean glare from Twilight while Rodas and Luna watched in silence as Applejack got back up. "I mean, that's easy, all you gotta do is have the right attitude, loosen up a bit, be positive, play a few games, have some fun. she said giving Luna some encouragement.
"What is this fun thou speak of?" Luna asked and Twi and AJ pointed over to a bowl of fake spiders, Luna walked over followed by Rodas and they both looked at the toy spiders in the bowl.
"Prey tell, what purpose do these serve?" Luna asked picking one of the spiders up.
"Try to land the spi-spiders on the web." A mare who was on the floor said while shaking like a leaf in the wind, Luna and Rodas both took a spider, Luna threw first landing just short of the web, then Rodas threw his going over the web and landing on the other side.
"You can do it Princess." Applejack said.
"You too Rodas." Twilight said. Both Luna and Rodas took a second spider, Luna managed to hit the center of the web while Rodas only hit the outer web.
"Your Princess enjoys this, fun, in what other ways may we experience it ?" Luna asked.
"Damn it, I can't believe I lost, I won't lose next time, next Time she looses." Rodas thought as he grit his teeth, his Saiyan pride not letting even the smallest of loses go easily. Next they played a game using catapults and pumpkins resulting in a draw between Rodas and Luna, even if the contest was only in Rodas's mind.
"Ha, ha the fun has been doubled." Luna said getting around of cheers from the locals.
"Why don't you two try bobbing for apples, we got the best apples in Equestria here Princess." Applejack said having lost her earlier fear of Luna.
"I ask that thou call us, me, Luna fair Applejack." Luna said the turned to the crowd. "Here me villagers, all of you call me Luna." She said getting ponies to talk in approval. On the way to the bobbing apples Luna saw Pipsqueak about to fall in again, seriously you'd think someone was keeping eye on him around the bobbing apples after the first time, Luna rushed into action to save the colt's life after he fell in, when Luna saved Pip, Pinkie caused another chaotic scan that resulted in Luna unintentionally scaring the residents of Ponyville, while the ponies backed of Rodas stayed close.
"What are you all backing off for, she saved that kid's life." Rodas said turning to the crowd, unintentional taking a somewhat aggressive stance.
"Let us join together in fun." Luna tried to say throwing a toy spider to the crowd, who backed off a little more. "Not enough fun for, what say you to this." Luna said using her magic to turn the toy spiders real, causing a panic only for the spiders to crawl onto the web, but the damage was done ponies were in a panic running this way and that, Rodas just watched as Luna tried to command the ponies to no avail, getting desperate Luna used the Royal Canterlot voice. " Be still." She commanded and the chaos stopped near instantly as lightning struck over head again.
"Princess remember watch the screaming." Twilight said as walked over hoping to calm the situation.
"No Twilight Sparkle, we must use the traditional Royal Canterlot voice for what we are about to say." Luna said spreading her wing to fly above the street. "Since you choose to fear your Princess rather than love her and dishonor her with this insulting celebration, we decree that nightmare night shall be cancelled forever." Luna said making lightning strike again as the storm clouds kame back.
Rodas just watched as this happened barely containing his laughter at the sight of every ponies faces as Luna made her decree, Rodas noticed Luna walking off with her head low and he felt something in his heart. "Why I'm I feeling this way, do I actually feel bad for someone else, damn it." Rodas thought as he follows Luna suddenly getting a strange sensation as though he could feel the energy of those around him, Twilight also followed Luna but before he could think of the right words to say Twilight spoke up.
"I'm sorry it hasn't worked out how we wanted, but you have to believe me when I tell you, nightmare night is one of the most popular celebrations we have." Twilight said trying to raise Luna's spirits.
"Yes, I can tell by the adoring shrieks of the children as they run away." Luna said annoyed as she walked off.
"Princess." Twilight said reaching out a hand after her.
"Leave her be Twilight, she needs space for a few minuets." Rodas said speaking up as he walked past her to follow Luna, Twilight then convinced Luna to speck with in an ally only for Rainbow to mess it up but when Pinkie mentioned that. "It's fun to be scared." Twilight, Luna and Rodas thought up a plan that could even scare Celestia. A little while later as the children were offering candy Pip was the last to give candy.
"Goodbye nightmare night forever." Pip said head hung low as high winds picked up.
"Citizens of Ponyville, who were wise to bring this candy to me, I'm pleased with you offering, so pleased that I may just eat it instead of eating you." Luna said looming over the gathered ponies disguised as Nightmare Moon, when suddenly Rodas jumped out of the forest behind Luna in his Great Ape form like some kind of monster under her control and let loose a sky shattering roar as he pounded on his chest, all the ponies ran for their lives from the truly terrifying double act, Luna the tuned back to normal and Rodas snapped his fingers dispelling the artificial moon he made to transform. "I am no certain that did what you meant for it to do Twilight Sparkle." Luna said unsure as Rodas came back from the forest having put his clothes back on.
"Just wait." Twilight said.
"For what, for them to scream some more?" Luna asked only to get a tug on her dress leg.
"Um Princess Luna, I know there's not going to be any more nightmare night, but do you suppose maybe you could come back next year and scare us again anyway?" Pip asked.
"Didn't see that coming." Rodas thought as he adjusted his shirt after putting it back of from taking it off to transform.
"Child, art thou saying that thou likest me to scare you?" Luna asked as Rodas stood by her side his arms crossed.
"It's really fun, scary but fun." Pip said looking up at the two who only minuets ago has scared the life out of him.
"It is?" Luna asked.
"Yeah, nightmare night is my favorite night of the year." Pip said with a smile unknowingly dressed as a little Jack Sparrow.
"Well then, we shall have to bring nightmare night back." Luna said using the Royal Canterlot voice blowing Pip back a few feet.
"You're my favorite Princess ever." Pip said running up to Luna to hug one of her legs before running back to his friends, Rodas just smirked as he yawned then walked back to the library to take a shower and go to bed.
It was a bright and sunny day with clear skies and the main 6 had decided to have a picnic and of cores they brought a reluctant Rodas who had wanted to train some more but they insisted, so there they were, the girls sat on a blanket while Rodas sat crossed legged at the base of the tree the girls had set up the picnic under. "Hay Rodas are you going to have any or not?" Pinkie asked taking a bite from a dandelion sandwich.
"How many times do I have to say it, I don't eat flowers Pinkie." Rodas said getting annoyed. "Honestly I could be back at the cave training." he thought as he suddenly sensed the familiar energy of Spike approaching. "Spike's coming." Rodas said confusing the girls as they began looking around.
"Darling, Spike is no where to be seen." Rarity said taking a sip of the red wine she had brought.
"Just wait." Rodas said as he crossed his arms and closed his eyes.
"For what?" Rainbow asked washing down a bite of her sandwich with some cider.
"Twilight." the voice of Spike could be heard calling and only a few minuets later Spike ran up to the girls out of breath and gave Twilight two scrolls having belched up the second just as he arrived, Twilight read the scrolls and unexpectedly screamed.
"What! my brother is getting married, and he didn't tell me himself." Twilight said getting angrier, suddenly music started playing out of no where.
"Oh god no, their about to start singing again, Fuck this I'm out." Rodas thought as he got up, just as he was about fly off Spike belched up another scroll, Spike read the scroll and ran up to Rodas before he could fly off all the while Twilight was singing best friend big brother.
"Rodas wait, this one is for you." Spike said passing the third scroll to Rodas for him to read, and yes the main 6 were still in the middle of their musical number.
"Well I'm off to Canterlot then." Rodas said putting the scroll into one of the inside pockets of his sleeveless coat, then Rodas charged his power and took off like a missile to Canterlot. When Twilight finished her song Rodas was gone and the girls looked around as to how Rodas had seemingly vanished into fin air while they were singing.
"Where's Rodas?" Twilight asked looking around for the Saiyan as if he'd just poof back after a few seconds.
"Yeah he's gone Twi." Spike said.
"Where?" Applejack asked.
"He's gone to Canterlot." Spike explained.
"Why?" Fluttershy asked.
"The Princess sent him a letter while you guys were singing and he took off." Spike answered.
"Well I guess we'll meet him there." Twilight said crossing her arms like Rodas usually did not noticing that she had picked up a few of his habits.
A few hours later
Twilight and the girls arrived at Canterlot which was under much higher security than usual, getting off the train the station was almost filled up with royal guards. "I've never seen the city so heavily defended before." Twilight said looking at all the guards Twilight thought forgetting her anger at her brother for a few moments.
"Oh yes, it's very safe here right now because I'm here." Rodas said as he walked onto the station platform.
"So what did the Princess want you for?" Twilight asked.
"Oh right, I'm now an honorary royal guard now." Rodas said with a wide smile.
"You a royal guard, that's just bad comedy." Pinkie said looking at Rodas having never seen him so happy.
"Oh go take your transformers references else where, any way I wish I could watch whatever train wreck is about to unfold but I have things to do places to be and bones to break in the name of protecting the city." Rodas said walking off, after seeing the main 6 at the train station Rodas went to meet up with two guards that were going to be helping him find any danger in the city. It didn't take long for Rodas to find the ponies he was looking for. "Greetings I am Rodas, I'm told that you two will be assisting me in finding who ever has made the threat against the city?" Rodas asked stopping in front of two guards waiting outside of pony jo's.
"That's right, I'm Sky Skipper." a generic white Pegasus said saluting his golden armor gleaming in the light of day.
"And I'm Shadow Lance, but please call me Lance for short." A generic bat pony night guard said.
"So, Sky and Lance hu, let's get moving there are a few places I want to check out before sundown." Rodas said floating into the air followed by Sky and Lance, with the three in the air they began their investigation going from one place to the next following Rodas's intuition from his past as a inter planetary mercenary, when sundown finally came Rodas bid fair well to Sky and Lance and went to where he could sense Twilight and the others landing next to the table they were sat at. "Evening lady's, I shall assume you have had a productive day." Rodas said.
"Rodas you believe me right, there's something not right with Cadence?" Twilight asked looking to the Saiyan for support.
"Cadence, Cadence, Oh right the one that's getting married tomorrow, I haven't met her yet." Rodas said.
"What about you, any luck?" Rainbow asked.
"As a matter of fact no, but I couldn't help but notice thousands of hostile energy signatures approaching from the south." Rodas answered crossing his arms. "Not like they were worth my time with how weak they were anyway." He thought. After the girls finished they all went back to the castle to sleep on what had happened.
The following morning Rodas got up early enough for Princess Luna to still be up and once again began his search, a lone this time as he couldn't help but think Sky and Lance were trying to keep him from a few parts of the city, so he decided to leave them behind to look around without any sabotage. Rodas spent most of that day by himself not noticing that the wedding had already started because he was more concerned by the thousands of changelings that had begun attacking Shining Armor's barrier around the city. "Finally, I get to cut lose." Rodas thought as the barrier finally shattered letting thousands of half starved Changelings into the city only to be met by a very eager Rodas who wasted no time in flying up to meet the swarm in battle, every punch and kick dropping a Changeling. When the swarm surrounded him he pulled back created a Ki ball in both hand and used a Rapid Fire Ki attack taking out nearly a hundred Changelings in the first minute of battle.
From the castle Chrysalis watched as her force's dropped like flies. "What, how can one fighter be so powerful!" Chrysalise said shouting in rage at this development.
"Who is that?" Cadence asked, unable to believe what she was seeing unfold in the air above Canterlot.
"It's Rodas, he's fighting all of them alone." Twilight said looking out the window, a few Changelings managed to get past Rodas while he was fighting but that didn't matter because the guards were ready for a fight thanks to Rodas buying them time to evacuate the city.
While fighting Rodas saw the main 6 running to one of the towers of the castle and stopping to fight. "Their not doing bad, but their technique is sloppy, they need to train more." Rodas thought as he focused on his fight, one after another the Changelings kept coming a punch to the gut here a round house kick to the head there, the Changelings were a persistent bunch of bugs to be sure but Rodas had been through far worse during his time with the Frieza force. as the battle raged on Rodas sensed the energy of the main 6 being taken back to the throne room by a large host of Changelings. "They need my help." Rodas said looking back to the castle after releasing a Ki wave that wiped out the large group of Changelings he was facing, he then glanced to the ground and saw the guards were pushing the invading bugs back at a good pace. "They can take care of the rest with out me." he thought shooting off to the castle.
Rodas smashed through the celling of the throne room landing between the main 6 and Chrysalise. "And who are you supposed to be?" Chrysalises with a mocking sneer as she crossed her holy arms with a smug look.
"I am Rodas a Saiyan warrior from planet Vegeta." Rodas said as he powered up, the force of his power pushing the on lookers back to the wall, even the Changeling drones couldn't get close to the battle lusted Saiyan while his power was elevated.
"This is nothing, I won't let you stop me, not when I'm so close to victory." Chrysalise said firing a magic blast at Rodas hitting him directly, but as the smoke cleared he was unharmed with his arms crossed looking disappointed.
"If that's the best you can do then you might as well give up, before I hurt you." Rodas said walking forward his clothes only slightly torn from the attack.
"Oh yeah, well how about this!" Chrysalise said firing another blast of magic this time aimed just passed Rodas, when he realized he wasn't the target he looked back at the main 6.
"GIRLS WHATCH OUT!!" Rodas shouted but it was too late the blast hit the floor just in front of them, when the smoke cleared the main 6 were down on the ground not moving except fore Cadence who was out side of the blast radius of the magic blast.
"TWILIGHT!" Cadence shouted as she ran to Twilight, all the while some thing inside of Rodas snapped as his rage exploded.
Turning back to face the Changeling Queen he grit his teeth. "You might be able to stop my attacks, but they can't. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha." Chrysalise said breaking off into hysterical laughter.
Suddenly Chrysalise's laughter was cut short when Rodas let loose a mighty battle cry of rage the Saiyan's aura of power turning a dull gold as his hair and tail took on a slight golden shine, Rodas had entered the False Super Saiyan state a half way point between base form and Super Saiyan granting a 25x base power up making Rodas's power level go from 1.3 million to 32.5 million. "Your going to pay for hurting my friends bug." Rodas said the golden aura around his body growing more intense, suddenly with out any warning Rodas shoot over to the Changeling Queen leaving a gold strike in the air behind him, when he reached Chrysalise he punched her in the face with all his might sending her crashing through every castle wall until she was out side.
"What a lovely day." Chrysalise thought as she looked up at the sky before she collided with the side of the mountain, before she could recover Rodas was on her like a fly to shit unloading rapid punches into her in the blink of an eye each punch so fast Chrysalise's brain couldn't even understand what was happening, Rodas then grabbed her by the hair and threw her into the air away from the city catching up quickly as he pulled his right arm back forming a blue Ki ball in his hand and charged it for a few seconds.
"Now take this, FINIAL CANNON." Rodas said using his personal finishing move as he thrust his right arm forward releasing the energy beam he had charged up. Through out the the hive mind the Changelings could hear Chrysalise's death screams as her body was atomized by his attack, just as Chrysalise was destroyed a powerful wave of magic erupted from the castle blasting away the Changelings in the city. Rodas returned to the castle and found everyone was safe and ok, as it turned out Chrysalise's attack didn't kill the girls only hurt them, after that Cadence and Shining Armor insisted n Rodas attending their wedding as thanks for his part in defeating the Changeling Queen, he even stayed with Twilight for the after party where Cadence decided to throw a few pick up lines at him for a three some but they went right over Rodas's head, turns out a warrior who spends all his time training for the next fight didn't have any interest in sexual distractions.
It has only been a month since the wedding at Canterlot and with Rodas's true power having been revealed during the failed Changeling invasion Celestia had been putting Rodas's skills as a warrior to use by tracking down the surviving Changelings to be arrested for their crimes against Equestria, so far he'd managed to track down fithty of the surviving Changelings and was now sat on a militariy train with his free kicked up despite the protest of the servers on the train, seated in the row of seats Sky Skipper looked at the Saiyan nervously. "Mr. Rodas Sir, could you please put your feet down?" Sky asked as he nervously locked eyes with his C.O who was shooting the Saiyan a death glare.
"Why, I'm comfortable right now." Rodas said keeping his feet up.
"Because, Lieutenant Brawd Sword looks ready to come over here and give you a piece of his mind." Sky said looking nervously between the Saiyan and his C.O.
"Well he can go take a long walk off a short peer for all I care." Rodas said looking over to the grey earth pony stallion in silver armor.
"Not so loud, if he hears you he'll come over." Sky said nervously.
"He doesn't scare me." Rodas said looking over at the Silver armored smug cunt for a second. "Besides we're heading back to Canterlot now, so it's not like we'll be seeing him again any time soon." Rodas said looking out the window into his own reflection.
"Easy for you to say, you don't report to him five days a week." Sky said as Canterlot came into view. An hour later the train pulled into the station and Rodas departed the train heading to the castle to report the missions partial success, when he arrived at the castle he found the main 6 being told about the Crystal Empire.
"Rodas your back, good. I need you to go with Twilight and the girls to the Crystal Empire." Celestia said seeing Rodas walk in.
"What, but I only just got back." Rodas said crossing his arms.
"I know, but I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important." Celestia said walking over to the Saiyan with a pleading look in her eyes.
"I must be getting soft." He thought before saying. "Fine, but I'm sleeping on the way there." Rodas said looking at the ponies in front of him. Three days later the main 6 plus Rodas and Spike were riding a train through a blizzard in the harsh cold of the frozen North.
"Damn it's cold." Spike said his teeth chattering despite being inside the train with a thick winter coat on.
"Suck it up Spike." Rainbow said as she read the newest Dareing Do book.
"Yeah it's not that cold." Pinkie said hopping between the seats.
"Would you lot shut up already, I'm trying to sleep over here." Rodas said laying across a row of seats as if it was a bed.
"Oh, come on. It's freezing." Spike said shivering.
"Spike darling, you already have a winter coat, besides you Don't see Rodas complaining." Rarity said looking over to the Saiyan who was trying to sleep, Twilight then looked at Rodas a question burning in her mind that she had been thinking of for the last three weeks.
"Rodas, what was that golden power you used to defeat the Changeling Queen?" Twilight asked.
"I don't know... I have my suspicions but that's about it." Rodas said waving a hand dismissively.
"What do you think it could have been, something like the magic of friendship?" Pinkie asked.
"No, I think it may have been the power of the Super Saiyan, but that's unlikely." Rodas said now sitting up.
"What's a... Super Saiyan?" Fluttershy asked.
"According to legend, the last Super Saiyan could only maintain his status in the transformed state, his power was extraordinary, he had no equal in the universe, but he was too primitive to control it, his rage burned so intensely that it eventually consumed him, in the end he was destroyed by his own power." Rodas explained as he crossed his arms the girls all looking at him in wonder and fear, even the guards watching the car doors looked spooked.
"And you think you may have tapped into that power some how?" Rainbow asked.
"I don't know, the legend mentions being in the transformed state, which must mean the Great Ape form." Rodas said closing his eyes. The train eventualy pulled in to the most northern station in the kingdom and they all departed the train and were met by Shining Armor at the station who led them through the blizzard along the way they were attacked by a shadow, the girls and Shining Armor ran Rodas turned to fight. "Come on then, I'll show you the might of a Saiyan warrior." Rodas said firing his Rapid Fire Ki attack at Sombra making the great shadow dodge the energy attack. "Your not getting away that easily. FINAL CANNON!!!" Rodas said shouting the name of his finishing move, but once again Sombra dodged. "Stop dodging and fight me like a warrior damn it!!!" Rodas angrily shouted at Sombra who stayed in shadow form.
"Rodas what are you doing, come on." Twilight's voice called out through the blizzard.
"Tch. We'll settle this later." Rodas said flying towards the Empire. When he landed he saw that the girls were glairing at him as if he'd just smacked them, even that Bata male Shining Armor was looking at him like he was a fool. "What?" Rodas asked looking at them.
"You could have been hurt, just look at what he did to Shining Armor's horn." Twilight said pointing it out her brother's useless horn.
"Your brother's weakness is not my problem." Rodas said flying off into the city. "Honestly, why do I even bother, and now I need to blow off some steam before I kill someone." he thought as he flew a few laps around the city after a while he noticed Twilight and the girls setting up some kind of fair. "Now what are they doing." He said watching the festivities. "Oh well not my problem." Rodas said dropping to the street to look around rather than help the girls who seemed more interested in criticizing him. As the day went on Rodas noticed the sky flickering but shrugged it off as more strange weather from this world but when the sky started flickering more frequently like someone turning a light on and off. "I don't like the look of this." Rodas said as the sky darkened and the crystal ponies began to panic, seeing what was going on Rodas flew over to the girls. "Hay, what's going on?" Rodas asked landing on the balcony with the others.
"Cadence's magic has ran out and Sombra is heading right for us." Shining Armor explained.
"Guys up here." Spike said holding the Crystal Heart.
Rodas saw the sharp black crystals getting closer to Spike and with out warning quick as a flash he shot up to where Spike was grabbed him and flew back down.
"Thanks Rodas." Spike said getting put back on the ground. "Here you go Princess I hope you know what to do with it." Spike said handing the Crystal Heart to Cadence.
"Where's Twilight?" Cadence asked.
"She's trapped at the top." Spike said as Sombra jumped from a black crystal to the top of the castle and then teleported back to the crystal holding Twilight by the neck.
"Twilight!!!" they all shouted.
"Put her down, your fight is with me." Rodas said taking a fighting stance.
"One more step warrior and I'll snap her neck like a twig." Sombra said turning to Cadence. "Now then, give me the Crystal Heart and I'll let her go." Sombra said making his demands.
"Or else what?" Rainbow asked.
"Or else I kill her and take the heart by force." Sombra said menacingly placing a blade of sharp black crystals to Twilight's throat. Rodas's rage began to surge as his hair and tail once again took on a faint golden shine but now his hair was trying to stand up on end as a tense energy filled the air.
"Alright, I'll give you the heart but you have to let her go." Cadence said getting to her feet.
"You are in no position to barter, the heart first then her freedom." Sombra said looking down at them all the while Rodas's anger was building to something legendary as he saw the one friend he had on this world who he actually cared deeply for in danger.
"Fine, just let her go." Cadence said tossing the Crystal Heart to Sombra. "Now let her go." Cadence said losing her strength by the second as Sombra took the Crystal Heart in his magic.
"As you wish." Sombra said pulling out a knife and stabbing Twilight in the back before tossing her to the balcony.
"TWILIGHT!!!" the girls along with Cadence and Shining Armor screamed rushing over to their friend as she bled out on the cold crystal balcony, Rodas was left stunned, he didn't think anyone on this world had it in them to kill let alone a pony.
At the sight of Twilight's limp body and the blood spreading across the floor Rodas let out a mighty scream that became the roar of the Great Ape as his power exploded turning bright gold pushing back Sombra's shadows as his hair fully stood and slicked back turning gold, even the fur on his tail was gold as his body was charged with gold energy that flowed from him like a great flame. "Your not dealing with the average Saiyan warrior anymore, your now dealing with the legend feared across the universe, your now facing a Super Saiyan." Rodas said flying up from the balcony to Sombra and punched the shadow king Squair in the face sending him flying across the city, Rodas the caught the Crystal Heart in one hand and tossed it to Spike, he the flew across the city leaving a golden trail in the as he closed the distance between himself and his foe. Sombra barely recovered from Rodas's punch when the Saiyan was on top of him this time attacking with a round house kick to the gut, just as the attack landed Sombra knew he fucked up, Sombra was sent flying again fully out of the city and back into the wastes, from the streets of the Empire ponies could be heard cheering. "The Warrior of Light is fighting the Shadow King."
"Warrior of Light." Cadence said as she raised her head to see the city and saw it in the distance the shadow of Sombra being pushed back by a golden light.
"Rodas must have become that Super Saiyan thing he was telling us about." Rainbow said as she watched the battle get tuther away from the city.
"Cadence get the Crystal Heart in place, I'll take care of Twilight." Fluttershy said with a determined look.
"Right." Cadence said getting up as Spike gave her the Crystal Heart.
Sombra tried putting up a barrior of black crystal but Rodas crashed through it without slowing down, Rodas then unleashed rapid punches into Sombra then grabbed him by the tail and threw him back to the Empire, Sombra looked to the city and saw a powerful wave of magic coming at him on one side and on the other an enraged Super Saiyan flying right at him with the intent to kill. "Your done, SUPER FINAL CANNON!!!" Rodas shouted firing his attack at Sombra pushing him into the wave of magic from the Empire destroying him completely. With Sombra defeated Rodas flew back to the Crystal Empire the ponies in the streets cheering when they saw the so called Warrior of Light returning from battle alone and victories, the girls watched as he got closer and landed on the balcony before them still in his newly gained Super Saiyan form. "Is she?" Rodas asked looking at Twilight and the blood around her.
"She's alive, we're waiting on a doctors coming and moving her to a hospital." Fluttershy explained.
"But she's fading fast." Cadence said doing what she could to help keep Twilight among the living.
Rodas raised his left hand towards Twilight and formed a Ki ball. "What are you doing?" Shining Armor asked trying to pull Rodas away, but Rodas fired the Ki ball at Twilight. Instead of exploding like everyone thought it would, instead it re-energized Twilight.
"I gave her some of my energy, it should keep her going long enough for the doctor to treat her wounds and save her life." Rodas explained dropping back to base form.
"I didn't know you could do that." Applejack said.
"You have no Idea about my abilities, and I'd rather keep it that way." Rodas said crossing his arms.
"Thank you. Twilight just might pull through this thanks to you." Cadence said unexpectedly hugging Rodas.
"Let go, let go get the fuck off." Rodas said pushing Cadence off of himself.
Three days later.
Twilight woke up in a hospital bed, looking around she saw Rodas sleeping in the chair in the corner of the room with Spike sleeping in the chair next to him. "What happened?" Twilight asked.
"You got stabbed." Rodas said.
"Your awake?" Twilight asked sitting up in bed.
"I wasn't sleeping." Rodas said opening his eyes looking at Twilight.
"How long have I been here?" Twilight asked.
"three days." Rodas said.
"That bad?" Twilight asked.
"No, you got lucky, turns out that bastard missed anything important." Rodas said looking over at Twilight. "Don't scare me like that again, your one of the few I truly consider a friend." Rodas said getting up and walking to Twilight's bed side taking one of her hands.
"Just a friend?" Twilight asked.
"Do you really want me to say it" Rodas said looking away from Twilight.
"Say what, that you lover her?" Cadence asked walking in having been listening at the door with Shining Armor, Rodas quickly took his hand back as he blushed slightly.
"I wasn't going to say that." Rodas said turning away.
"Sure you weren't, how are you feeling Twilight?" Cadence asked standing next to Twilight.
"Hay it's cool man, we all fall for the right mare when we meet her." Shining Armor said putting an arm around Rodas's shoulder. "Besides, I know I could sleep a lot easier knowing Twilight is with some one like you." he added gently elbowing Rodas in the ribs only to hurt himself.
"Shining, don't embarrass him." Twilight said a huge blush on her face.
"Twilights awake." Pinkie said throwing the door open followed by the girls who surrounded Twilight, while the girls all talked Rodas walked out before leaving the room he looked back at Twilight with a smirk.
7 Days later - Canterlot
"Yes Twilight, you passed the test." Celestia said.
"I would like to know more about this Super Saiyan, if it even exists." Luna said looking at Rodas who was leaning against a wall. Rodas smirked and opened his eyes as he walked over to the Princesses and Twilight.
"Well I guess I'll have to change your mind about that." Rodas said and then powered up into Super Saiyan in front of the three mares. "Tell me Luna, do you believe the legend now?" Rodas asked the golden aura of Super Saiyan flowing over him.
"By Faust, he really is a Super Saiyan." Luna said looking at Rodas.
"Are you convinced yet?" Rodas asked with a smirk.
"Y... Yes I'm convinced." Luna said looking at Rodas in his new transformation.
"Good." Rodas said powering down. "Come on Twilight, let's go home." Rodas said putting an arm over Twilight's shoulders as they walked out together.
"She's ready." Celestia said watching as the two left.
"Yes, and with Rodas at her side, Equestria will be safe for decades to come." Luna said with a smile as the doors closed behind Rodas and Twilight.
