Life has its ways of guiding you along your given path. One's destiny and fate do not always intertwine.

Legends scattered through time told of creatures that would pass through the dimensional veil, traversing the seams between their world and the next.

In times of crisis, the Kingdom of Equestria would be graced with a creature, an entity, that represented violence and autonomy when harmony was not enough to prevent tragedy. Every generation of Equestria's life cycle had, at least, one human save Ponykind from certain doom.

Now in its fourth generation rebuilt, a human has indeed come to the aid of the Ponies, but one thousand years later, another human would follow in his footsteps, burning away the sins of his mistakes and his own.
