Pinkie Pie hops out of a portal and onto the grass, bumping into a purple unicorn. They both let out a yelp as they fall to the ground.
“Wait a second, this isn’t… Whoopsie!”
Pinkie jumped up like a spring onto her hooves as she hopped over to help the unicorn up. She looked around, seeing a weird lighthouse and a garden.
“It’s all good! Name’s Izzy! What just happened?” She chuckled.
“Apparently a big oopsie! I was trying to get to the human world.” Pinkie hopped around, looking for the portal.
“Portal? Sunny would love that! Also what’s a human?”
“Weird, gangly and skinny creatures that have no fur! Don’t think about them too hard.”
Izzy scrunched up her snout in reaction. “Bleh, they sound awful.”
“They are!” Pinkie winked as she stuck her tongue out in a seemingly random direction.
“Whatcha lookin at?” Izzy tilted her head.
“The fourth wall!” Pinkie assured her.
“But we’re outside, silly.” Izzy tapped Pinkie’s head with her hoof.
“There are always walls if you run far enough!”
“True true.” Izzy nodded along with Pinkie.
“Oh yeah! Pinkie’s the name, parties are my game!” She gave a pat onto Izzy’s shoulder as she grinned wide.
“Woah, how convenient. I was planning a party for my best friend Sunny!” Izzy tapped her hooves excitedly.
“Really? So that’s what Cheese and my senses were ah tinglin’ for!”
“Ooh you have a sense as well? How’s it work? I can see ponies sparkles!” Izzy smiled sweetly as she stared at Pinkie intensely.
“Wowza! I get twitchy twitches and depending on those twitchy twitches different wacky things can happen!” Pinkie makes a cartoony woosh sound as she emotes with her hooves.
“Woah! I can’t even belizzle how cool that is! Hmm your sparkle is… seafoam green!” Izzy nodded in certainty.
“You’re good! My thirty second favorite green is seafoam green!”
Izzy chuckled as she trots casually to the brighthouse.
“Whatcha’ waiting for? I-” Izzy stops in place as she looks up, holding her gaze.
Pinkie quirks her head to the side as she bounced to Izzy’s side, waiting next to her.
“Hello? Equestria to Unicorn!” Pinkie said as she waved her hoof rapidly in front of Izzy’s face.
“Huh! Wuh?” Izzy looked side to side as she jumped a bit. “Oh, sorry! Guess I spaced out again hehe.”
“No problem! I do it all the time. Distractions, y'know~” Pinkie stuck her tongue out as she sprung inside.
She opened her eyes wide as she looked around, zipping from one object to the next, gazing at everything with delight.
“This is all so cool!” She grabbed a painting of Sunny and Izzy which had a rainbow background, and Pinkie stared at it. “You have a lot of pics with her!”
Izzy chuckled with a little blush. “She’s my first ever friend! What can I say, she means alot to me! That’s why I want her b-day to be extra special!”
“Well lucky you! I happen to be a certified party pony, and occasionally a forklift certified one!” Pinkie stated proudly, slapping a sticker on herself which read ‘Forklift Certified’ on it in gold lettering.
“Well I don’t think we’ll need a forklift for this, just the basics!” She placed her hoof on her chin.
“Got it!” The sticker on her peeled off as it plopped onto the ground. “Got a list?”
“Oh! Uh, kinda? In my head I do!”
“All good, just tell.” She nodded quickly with a giddy smile.
“Hmm. Mainly just a cake and decorations! I guess I’ll needa make her a gift but I can handle that.”
“Easy Peasy, I always carry my Party Cannon on me!” Pinkie smiles proudly as she pulls the large colorful cannon out of nowhere.
“Woah I gotta get one of those!” Izzy said as she ogled the cannon.
“I’ve got an extra.” Pinkie casually stated as she pulled out a smaller, more basic looking cannon. “It doesn’t quite work though!”
“It’s perfect, I can just unicycle it!” Izzy grabbed it in a hug as she smiled wide.
“Unicycle?” Pinkie raised a brow as she tilted her head.
“Oh, it's a made up word by me. You take something that’s usually incomplete and combine it with other things and poof, you make something new! Unicycled!”
“Ooh how cool! I gotta try that sometime, personal gifts are the bestest way to make ponies smile!”
“Yeah! I always love to make personal ones for everypony, especially now that I have some friends!” Izzy grinned wide as she waved her hooves excitedly in front of her. “Let’s get started!”
“Okie-dokie-loki!”
The two spring into action as Izzy starts on the cake while Pinkie sets up the decorations with her party cannon. The unicorn grabs the cookbook with her magic as she flipped through the pages, finding the recipe she wanted to make. She decided on the recipe as Pinkie bounced into the kitchen.
“How’s it going?” Pinkie asked, trying to take a peek at the cookbook.
“Fine! Did you finish already?” Izzy asked, a bit confused.
“Yeeeeup, I’m very efficient! You can thank my party cannon for that!” Pinkie grinned with a wink.
“Woah! I’ll have to say thanks to it after this.” Izzy smiled sweetly as she levitated some ingredients over to her.
“What flavor of cake are you making?”
“I’m trying to make a cake based on a drink me and Sunny made together! It’s called ‘The Dreamy Creamy Peanut Butter Starbow’!” Izzy said proudly with a giddy grin on her face.
“Woah nice! What’s a ‘Starbow’?”
“Oh! Yeah it’s just our last names together. Starscout and Moonbow equals Starbow!”
Pinkie's face lights up as she pushes her face right up to Izzy’s. “I LOVE naming combos with friends! Like Pinkie and Twilight equals Twipie! I love when names rhyme!”
“Twilight? Is she named after that Twilight?” Izzy perked up as she heard that name.
“Maybe? She’s probably based on her mom’s name. Twilight Velvet!”
Izzy’s face got more contorted as she looked bewildered. “Wait. Does she have the same name as her mom? Is she called mini Twi or something?”
“Nope! But that’s a great nickname! Mind if I yoink it from ya’?” Pinkie leans in close with a grin.
“Feel free! I’d love to meet your friends sometime, they sound fun!”
“Same to yours! Now let’s get cookin’!”
Pinkie and Izzy let out an excited yell as Pinkie grabbed the cookbook and the two started rapidly following the instructions. In no time at all they had finished the cake.
“Mmm looks so good, thanks for your help!” Izzy hugged Pinkie, with the mare returning the hug with an even tighter hug.
“No problemo Izzy! I can’t wait to see-”
A glow appears in front of the two as their eyes open wide. It formed into a magic-like portal as the face of Twilight appeared from it.
“Pinkie! You weren't supposed to hop in the portal yet! That could’ve caused all kinds of reality mess ups and… who is that?” Twilight tilted her head in confusion as she stared at Izzy.
“Izzy Moonbow! I was just helping her with a party!”
“Of course you were.” Twilight rolled her eyes as she chuckled.
“Gotta go, seeya Izzy!”
Pinkie waved goodbye rapidly as she quickly hopped into the portal, it disappeared in a flash of light. Izzy stared at where the portal was, frozen in place.
“It was that Twilight?! Oh Sunny’s not gonna believe this!”
