Discord goes off script and changes how ponies view friendship

What would happen if Discord had other plans to take over Equestria? While many stories have their views on it. Whell, seems one Discord wanted to mix things up.

Time passes and as many may expect, the next generation of element bearers are bound to arise. Who knows. They might just find out how "fun" friendship can be.

Marked as Random because I don't know what all Genres the story will include.

Prologue

Few ponies know how or why. But Equestria wasn't as well… close, as it is now. Many moons ago, back on the day the sisters were planning to end Discord's rule. Something happened that would change our fates forever.

Discord sat back in his throne and sipped his glass. "Such a lovely day of chaos." He sighed with a smile. Looking off to the castle of the Two Sisters, he thought about what they may be planning. Pulling out a notepad he scanned the pages. "Let's see… according to this… they come to face me. We have a fun little tiff. I throw seeds… and lose twice." Sighing he tossed the notebook into a pool of jam. "Let's go with something fun. Oh… I know." He grinned and started to laugh.

"What is so funny, feand?" Luna snapped.

"Oh nothing. Just thought I'd make you a deal. You let me have a bit of land and some ponies to play with. And I won't curse Equestria." He laughed. "The best part is no matter what. I WIN." He laughed.

"Viel monster!" Celestia snapped. "Come sister. Let us put an end to this before he can do any more damage."

As the rainbow beam hit he laughed. "Too late."

It wouldn't be till many moons later that the true outcome of his plan was revealed. But by then, Equestria had fully adapted to its new way of life. And with the summer sun celebration coming. A new group of heros would be called into action.

Twilight sat in her room as she read one of her many books. It was no secret that she got off reading and learning. In fact her favorite story was about the finding of Equestria and how detailed the orgy that saved the three tribes. Today's story that would bring her pleasure was one about the rise of Nightmare Moon. Or as many call her the Bitch in the Moon.

She was getting close to another orgasum when her eyes fell on a line that killed the mood. "On the night of the longest…" She read. As realization of how close that time was she gasped and leapt to her hooves. "This isn't good. I have to tell the princess."

Just then the door opened as a young dragon stumbled in rubbing his belly. "Oh good timing. I need you to send a letter. Or does my little slut need a break?" Twilight asked with a giggle.

"I can send the letter." He replied as he pulled out a quill and paper. "I just finished my chores, that's all." He replied.

Twilight smiled. "Ok, take a letter." She giggled before telling him what she discovered and what her fear was. "Ok Spike. Send it and let's see what her plan is." It wasn't long before Spike belched out a scroll.

"Oh. It looks like the princess does have a plan." Spike chimed.

"Really?" Twilight chimed.

Five minutes later
"I still can't believe she's not taking this seriously." She groaned as they were brought to their destination. "And what does she mean by a visitor?"

Spike looked at the letter. "Something about lost history. " He shrugged. "Do you think it'll be another mare?"

"I hope not." She sighed. "It's bad enough that the princess expects me to make friends while our world is in danger. But if this town doesn't have any stallions. I'm out." Spike shrugged as they looked down at the town they were to help prepare. "And my hopes for an easy mission."

"Why do you say that?"

Twilight waved a hoof at the town. "Did you see that orchard? How much do you want to bet those ponies are either nuts or common country ponies?"

Spike shrugged and looked at the list the princess gave him. "Speaking of food. Maybe that should be our first stop."

"Fine." Twilight sighed before leaning over to the drivers. "Would you boys mind landing near the farm? I'll see if they can spare some food and drinks." The stallions nodded and made their descent. "I just hope they're not the overly hospitable type." She sighed.

It wasn't long before they touched down, and Twilight made her way to the farm as the stallions got unhitched. As she approached the barn, her fear came true as the surprisingly curvy country mare named Applejack. She looked well fed and fit. Which made sense, after all, she does work on a farm. And it also explained why Twilight's leg was sore and still shaking.

After getting the chance to explain the situation, she was surprised about the amount of food that was dropped in front of her. "I can see the food is taken care of. So… I'll just take a fritter for me and Spike. Maybe a drink and the boys can have the rest." She offered happily.

"You're not staying for dinner?" A smaller version of Applejack named Apple Bloom asked.

Facepalming, Spike sighed. "It's noon. But even I think those eyes should be illegal."

As soon as Twilight saw a large red stallion, Twilight agreed to stay for lunch on the condition Applejack introduces her to the stallion after the celebration.

Smiling Applejack agreed as her and some of her relatives spent time with the pegasus stallions Twilight arrived with.

As they ate, Twilight sat with Big Mac and whispered in his ear as Spike was carried off by some of the stallions behind the barn.

By the time Twilight was able to drag Spike from the farm, they both had full bellies. And not all of it was food. Though, neither of them really complained.

Leaving the pegasus with the apple family, Twilight made her way into town with Spike. A part of her really wanted to stay and get a chance with Applejack's brother. But they had other things to do.

"What's next Spike?"

"Let's see… weather." He replied. The two looked up and sighed.

"Are the pegasi in this town as sluty as Canterlot?" Twilight groaned. "Because it looks like they're taking their sweet time-"

"LOOK OUT!" A voice called out moments before Twilight was knocked over.

At first Twilight was annoyed by the pegasus. But was quickly impressed by her skills. A part of her wondered if the pegasus had a coltfriend. If not, she knew a few stallions that would like her. Then again. She wasn't sure there were many stallions that were close to her level.

"So… what's next?"

Spike blinked and looked at the list. "Decorations."

Twilight sighed and went to town hall.

One awkward introduction and wardrobe change later. Twilight dragged Spike to their next location.

"Hopefully music won't have a crazy mare running it." She sighed.

When she saw who was running it, she licked her lips. After a quick introduction. There were two options of what she'd do to the shy mare. Either make the mare hers or bust the balls of any stallion that tried to mess with her.

The night ended with a pink pony throwing a party at her residence making it impossible for her to plan for what was coming.

After the events of Nightmare Moon's return, Twilight was oddly happy about becoming friends with these five mares. As she relaxed and settled into town, Twilight started to notice something was off. And it involved an old stallion she saw in town that seemed to have an endless supply of mares pining for his attention.

Learning of time?

Twilight sat in thought about the stallion she kept seeing in town as she considered what it ment. Or why it seemed no pony seemed to pay him any attention other than to service him like a bunch of sluts. Even though she admitted to herself that seeing such things wasn't really strange. There was something about him that rubbed her the wrong way.

Twilight decided to pace back and forth as she considered the possibilities of what it meant and what was happening with her friends. Deciding she needed some air, Twilight started writing a letter to the princess as she made her way to a nearby restaurant.

Sitting at an outdoor table, she looked over the letter again. "Have you decided what you would like?" A voice asked.

"Daze sandwich please." She replied without looking.

"Rather basic for the personal student of the princess." The voice replied.

Blinking, she looked up at the voice and saw a smiling white earth pony stallion. "How did you?... I didn't…"

"We met before." He replied, before rubbing his chin. Or we will meet…" Shrugging he took a seat with her as a waiter brought out the sandwich she just asked for and a glass of tea for the stallion. "You can get rid of the letter. She won't be of much help."

Putting the scroll in her saddle bag she levitated up the sandwich as she narrowed her eyes at him. "What do you mean?"

"The stallion you saw." He replied. "She won't know what to do."

"And you do?"

"Correct. Or to be more accurate, I can point you in the right direction." He replied, sipping his tea. "But you might not like it. Most don't." He sighed. As she was about to speak, he continued waving a hoof in the air as if he was swatting away a thought. "Then again they ask me to fix something and complain about getting what they want. So you can see why I'd rather just point and say good luck."

"Wait. You can fix it?" She asked. "You can take care of what's going on here?"

His eyes narrowed at her dangerously. "You know. I am getting really tired of telling you the dangers of tampering with time and reality."

"I'm sorry." She sighed. "I just haven't met many ponies that strong… and none that was able to do it without a horn."

His expression brightened as he sat back. "You mean like Pinkie? Well… Don't tell her this. But if she learned to hone her skill. She would be able to do much more." Shaking his head he sighed. "But we're getting off track. And I'm almost out of tea. You wanted to know how to deal with the stallion."

"Yes please. Do we need the elements?" Twilight asked, as she looked at what was left of her sandwich and wondered how she ate so much without noticing.

"Yes and no." He replied. "You will need your friends. But your path determines if the price will be worth it."

Twilight watched as he got up, leaving behind six scrolls marked. "Path of loyalty", "Path of laughter", "Path of generosity", "Path of kindness", "Path of honesty" and"Path of magic".

Looking over she saw him trot away from the table as he called back. "Just know. Everything comes at a price. Even friends."

Picking the path

View Online

Twilight looked at the scrolls a few times. "Six paths. Six friends. Six chances to mess everything up." She sighed before groaning and slamming her head into a table as Spike came down the library's stairs.

"Do you know what's in them?" Spike asked.

"No. And from what the note that pony gave me when I asked. I can only pick one. But each will not only affect how we tackle this problem. But it'll also affect my friends." Twilight replied in aggravation. "And what's more infuriating is the only thing he would say about it is that I would know which to pick."

"And how is that?" Spike asked in growing confusion.

"I don't know!" She cried. "It's not like there's a spell I can cast to tell me this. Believe me. I looked."

Spike thought for a moment as he looked over the scrolls. "Is there a reason the seals look like your friends cutiemarks?"

Twilight took a deep breath and sighed. "Each of these have something to do with one of the elements of harmony." She replied. "The color shows their preference."

Spike looked them over and groaned. "Oh."

"Sorry Spike. If my hunch is correct. Rarity is the only one that you wouldn't have a chance with." Twilight sighed, pulling him close.

"What if I took one and you opened another?" Spike asked.

Rubbing her chin, Twilight levitated over the scrolls to him. "It's worth a try. But we'll have to open them at the same time."

Spike nodded and looked them over before grabbing "the path of Loyalty". Smiling, he looked over at Twilight who scanned the scrolls before grabbing "Path of generosity".

"Cross your claws Spike. Hopefully these turn out to be something good." Twilight sighed before the two broke the seal and looked at what they said. "It… looks like a spell… something to do with bonds of others… What about yours Spike?"

Spike looked over his scroll and blinked. "Same thing." He sighed. "I don't get why these are such a big deal if they're the same." He remarked. "To cleanse the land is simple to do. To mend the bonds that are fragile and few. While others see lust, to you love is true." Spike read, causing Twilight to roll her eyes.

"Let's hope that it's not a vocal spell." She sighed. "Because we should study the spell before actually casting it."

Spike shrugged and went to work cleaning the room. "Well. If anypony can figure it out. It's definitely you." Spike remarked as he swept the floor. "What do you say to studying something else? Like maybe some of the local stallions for you? And maybe a mare or two for me?"

Twilight rubbed her chin in thought. "That is a tempting proposition Spike. But I can't help this feeling that there's something suspicious going on."

Spike rolled his eyes and went into the kitchen. "I'll fix a pot of coffee. I get a feeling we're going to need it." He sighed.

The path is chosen

"To cleanse the land is simple to do. To mend the bonds that are fragile and few. While others see lust, to you love is true." Twilight repeated to herself a few times as Spike fell asleep on a pillow. Pacing back and forth she levitated one book after the next, scanning pages as she looked for any possible explanation between the words. And any possibility of spell work it might have.

To her surprise and dismay, Twilight froze at the sight of one page of what was a book she hadn't read in years. And the page she had stumbled on explained clearly, "some of the oldest and most powerful spells were written out and later spoken out loud." She gulped in fear at the realization of what that implied. Considering Spike had read the spell, it meant that whatever the spell was had been his doing. Not only that but it was possible that the spell was meant to target the reader.

A fate that was confirmed with another book. "Spells can fall into two sections when spoken. To target another pony. Saying you or the ponies name is the most commonly used. Targeting one's self would follow similar rules. However, when reading the spell. The use of 'you' is changed to the reader and is commonly used in olden spells that involve rhymes." Her fears were then heightened with the following segment. "Olden spells that use rhyming words are considered more potent than their more straight forward counterparts. Stronger yet are those written in old ponish."

Twilight slowly and fearfully looked at the scroll Spike had read from. Seeing the words were in old ponish, she threw the book down. "OH COME ON!!!!" She shouted. Groaning, she scanned her books for what the spell might have done. Finding the only lead being in the spell itself she sighed and sat in wonder. "What is going to happen to my friend and little brother?"

Elsewhere in Ponyville
Rainbow Dash sat back in the locker room of the Ponyville branch of the weather command. Taking a deep breath, she looked over the weather plans of the next few days. Apparently the last pony that was in charge of the weather had missed a few rainy days. Which took away what would have been a perfect chillaxing day. And more annoying was the fact that now she had to sit in the office and plan at least a week's worth of work for the team, the weather, and set up when new clouds and tools would arrive from Cloudsdale.

All of this without a single drop of cider or with a single stallion that had the balls or skills to satisfy her. Not that the mares were any better. In fact they didn't really do anything for her. Not for the lack of trying. Heck, one actually got a soft moan from her… once. Sighing, she finished what felt like the hundredth form for that day. And she was eager for something else to do.

Ironically at that moment. The one stallion she doubted was able to satisfy any mare entered the room. "Hi Bulk." She sighed. "Your payment is in the corner." She informed as she scanned yet another paper. "You did want a new weightlifting set for this month's pay. Right?"

"YES!!!" He replied before pausing for a moment. Sensing this Rainbow looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "THANK YOU!!!" He finally shouted before grabbing the kit in his teeth and trotting out.

Rolling her eyes, Rainbow went back to the papers. "Maybe I can set it so one of the others can do it next week. At least that'd cut my paperwork down to just shift maintenance and cloud busting." Looking at the time, she let out a soft groan. She was definitely cutting it close. If she got distracted for too long. She'd have to add a new count record to the cloud busting in under a minute. And she already had a firm grip on that title.

She really didn't want to make it impossible for the others to get close. No fun if there's not a challenge. And as she worked on what she hoped was her last form. She pondered on the chance of getting a snack in the middle of cloud busting to help minimize the risk of busting too many clouds. Or just find a stallion and a thick cloud to hide in and out of sight from others…

"Stupid hormones." She groaned. "Why are all the good stallions either gay or taken?"

Rare and gentle

Spike woke and as he expected, he found Twilight at her desk with her face on a book as she slept. It was clear that she was up all night. And judging by the many noyes, chalkboard, and even a corkboard. Sighing, he looked over what she found out before gathering her "I'm clearly too sleepy to be writing this" notes, and put them in a pile to the side.

"Wait… what's this?..." He muttered softly as he looked over some of the notes. "Spike… Dash…" was the only part he was able to read thanks to the smear that normally followed one of Twilight's all nighters. Not seeing much point in following a trail that he'd need Twilight's help figuring out. And let's face it. They were at stage five already of a Twilight meltdown. It was probably safest to be anywhere but there.

Smiling, an idea came to his head and set off for Rarity's. If he was going to be around anypony. It was definitely going to be her.

The Carousel Boutique was as busy as ever. That is to say. Rarity was working on her next line months in advance. And she was determined to make each outfit shine. Sadly…

"I have nothing!!!" She cried while laying on her fainting couch. "I can't think of a single thing for this year's hot and spicy magazine. And if I don't come up with something soon…" She sniffed once before letting out a loud whine. "I'll be ruined!!!"

"There there hun." Applejack soothed as she brushed her friend's mane. "Everything will be fine. You'll see."

"Oh Applejack. If only it was that simple."

Applejack lifted Rarity's chin so they were eye to eye. "Now you listen here. You're the best darn dress maker I ever met. How many ponies do ya know can make me a dress that looks nice and not be… you know."

Rarity blinked and thought about it for a moment. "You're right… but that still doesn't help me with my problem."

"Which one?" Applejack teased with a knowing smirk.

Rarity blushed, and before she was able to respond. Spike entered the Boutique. "Hay Rarity. Need any help?" He called.

"She sure does Spike." Applejack replied as she got up. "I was just helping her cheer up a bit. But I reckon ya can help her with her dresses."

"Leave it to me." He replied, happily rushing over to get the usual tools. "I'm happy to help."

Rarity sighed happily. "Having you around is always a welcome help, Spike. Thank you."

Spike smiled and stood at the reedy. "Any time Rarity."

"Well. Looks like y'all got things covered from here. I'll head home and take care of the chores." Applejack called as she gave them a playful wink before leaving.

Twilight groaned as she woke up and looked around before noticing the light coming from the window. Letting out a sigh she looked around at her notes before noticing the pile of notes. Looking them over she sighed and tossed them in the trash before looking over her other notes.

"There has to be something I'm missing… or was Spike right and I just need to find a stallion to rut me." Sighing she rubbed her chin and smiled as an idea came to her. "You know what? I'll take Spike's advice. And I know just the stallion that I want to help me."

With thoughts of a nice sized stallion and his rock hard Rod, dancing through her head. Twilight made her way out of the library and started for her destination. Unaware of the white stallion that came out of the kitchen and looked over the notes she left before turning to look out the window. Laughing to himself, he made his way out the back door humming to himself. "I wonder what they're going to do when they realize the truth."

Fluttershy hummed softly as she sat with her animal friends at one of their picnics. "This is such a lovely day." Taking a deep breath, she looked around as a few started talking about random things that happened lately. Her ears perked when she heard one mention something they overheard at the library.

"Oh my. Are you sure that's what she was talking about, Sammy? I mean. I don't mean to call you a liar. But I thought Spike liked Rarity." She asked as the bird flew over and landed on her back and replied. "Oh my…. I don't know if we should do that. I mean… what if they find out we did it and get mad. Then they might hate me and never want to-" She stopped as the animals spoke up, cutting her off. "You're right…" She sighed. "Maybe I'm just being paranoid. But who would we get to help with that?" After a few moments, one of the squirrels went up a tree and returned with a magazine and opened it before pointing to one of the pages. "Good idea. I think I still have her address." Getting up Fluttershy made her way home to prepare for her plan as Angela rubbed his paws together as a plan came to his mind.

Plans and helping out hooves

Twilight moaned softly as she sat back on a pile of hay as she licked her lips. It definitely was a good idea for her to pay the Apple family a visit. She had a very good feeling she'd be paying the farm another visit. At least once she had a better idea of what that spell did.

As she slowly got up, Twilight saw the large stallion enter the barn. "Hey Big Mac. Thanks for the help." She bit her lip as she looked him over. "Would you mind if I came over for another round some time?"

Big Mac smiled sheepishly. "Nnope."

Twilight smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks. I should get going. I have a lot to do."

Big Mac nodded and stood still as she paused at the door before glancing back at him. "Although. It looks like you could use some help before I go."

Blushing, Big Mac nodded. "Eeyup." He replied as Twilight shut the door and went over to the hay. Smiling, Big Mac went over to her eagerly.

Fluttershy looked through some of her papers with the addresses of each pet she took care of and their owner. After a few moments, she pulled out one with an adorable puffball. "Oh my. I almost forgot." Turning to a carrier and knelt down to it. "Your mommy should be here soon." A little white dog came out and smiled up at her giving her a happy bark. Fluttershy gave him a loving nuzzle. "And I'm glad you're feeling better too."

A knock came from the door and Fluttershy flew over and calmly opened it, revealing a mare in a cloak. "How is he l?" The mare asked softly.

"Oh. Your-" Fluttershy started before quickly covering her mouth. "He's doing fine. And is happy to be coming home. But… Can I ask you a favor?"

The mare smiled and pulled out a bag of bits. "As long as we can keep these meetings secret. Ask me anything."

"It's about Rainbow Dash. I know she wants to be a Wonderbolt. But my animal friends told me that it's super important for her and Spike to get together." Fluttershy explained.

The mare thought for a moment before nodding. "I think I may have an idea. I just have to pull a few strings. But don't worry. In a few days, my… or should I say our plan will be in effect."

Fluttershy took the bits and passed her the carrier. "Thank you. And don't worry. I added some snacks so you won't have to rush back next time."

The mare laughed and turned to leave. "Maybe I'll just bring him over for a play date." She teased, before sharing a laugh as she trotted off.

Rainbow Dash flew to the Boutique and sighed. "Maybe Rarity has something to help me relax." She sighed as she opened the door moments before Spike rushed past. Blinking in confusion about what just happened, Rainbow stepped inside.

"Oh. Hello dear. I just finished an order. So I have time." Rarity sighed. "Was there something you needed?"

"Yeah." Rainbow replied, rubbing the back of her neck. "Do you have anything that can help scratch an itch I have?"

Rarity blinked in shock. "You can't find a stallion?"

Rainbow sighed and sat on one of the couches. "The only ones that even would've gotten close are either gay or taken." She huffed. "And let's not mention you know who."

"Indeed." Rarity agreed as she went over to a closet before returning with a box. "And considering this is going to be for you. Might I suggest…" She levitated up a large dildo that ended in a point. "The beast."

Rainbow rubbed her chin as she looked it over. "Looks great Rarity. But I need one with more performance than size. Not that I won't use it…"

Rarity waved her hoof dismissively. "Say no more. I have just the thing." She announced, pulling out a slender dildo with a bulbous base. "The rare and long lasting draco shaft." She explained. "Best of all. It vibrates…. Or so I was told."

Rainbow smiled and took it in her hooves. "Perfect." She replied. "But… isn't it a bit… small?"

"Start using it and see for yourself." Rarity teased. "I have a special room in the back you can use. Third on your left." She informed as Rainbow went to the back room.

The next day, Spike returned to the library and sighed at the mess he saw. Shaking his head, he went to work cleaning the mess of crumpled up papers and broken quills. It wasn't the first time he had to clean a mess like this. But it definitely was one of the weirder ones. Considering there weren't any condoms. Or tissues for that matter.

As he worked, he looked over some of the notes. From what he saw. The scroll he read was some kind of vocal spell. And thanks to Twilight's research, it had something to do with Spike and Rainbow. With each note he saw, he became more and more confused and concerned about what it all meant. After all…

"What will Rainbow do when she finds out about this?" He gulped. Picking up the last pile, Spike heard a knock on the door. Rolling his eyes he answered the door. "Twilight's not here. And we're in the middle of a… reorganization project."

"Oh. I'm not here for her. I came to see you." The uptight mare replied.

Spike looked her over with a raised brow. "And what is it you need from me?"

"I came to inform you that your presence is requested in Mainhatten." She informed calmly. "Please arrive no later than tomorrow at noon."

"What?" Spike asked.

"You may consider this a request from a rather high-class mare. Doing this for my client will earn you a favor from her later on." She replied flatly.

"I still don't know why your client wants me to come." Spike sighed.

"Honestly. I don't concern myself with trying to understand her reasoning." The mare replied, rolling her eyes. "But if I had to guess. She heard rumors about you and wanted to see you for herself. She has a soft spot for cute things." She paused and rubbed her chin. "I guess that's one reason she's such a skilled fashion designer."

Spike blinked and rubbed his chin. "You don't say… you don't think she'd be willing to spread word about Rarity's dresses"

The mare shared a grin with him as a similar idea came to her mind. "You know what? I think she'd be very willing to help a fellow designer." With a nod of agreement the mare left as Spike went back inside to finish his chores and gather some things he'll need for the trip.

Rainbow sighed in relief as she came out of the backroom with a smile. "Thanks Rarity. You're a lifesaver."

"Not at all darling. I know how hard it can get when you're trying to juggle your work and personal needs." Rarity replied.

Rainbow laughed. "And don't forget the lack of stallions up to the task."

"Indeed. Now. Is there any chance I can interest you in a new dress?" Rarity asked hopefully.

Rainbow sighed and rolled her eyes. "Well… I did just take your room for the night… why not."

Rarity gave a happy squeal before pulling her over to where she had some nice dresses. "Oh I have some amazing outfits I know would look amazing on you." She chimed as Rainbow rolled her eyes with an amused smile.

Applejack sighed as she sat with Fluttershy as the pegasus told her about what she heard from her animal friends. The two enjoyed their tea until Applejack brought up Spike.

"I know he has a crush on her. But I don't know what will happen when he finds out how she feels." Applejack sighed.

"Oh… I don't think that'll be much of a problem." Fluttershy admitted before quickly covering her mouth.

"What's all this about now?" Applejack asked.

"Oh my." Fluttershy squeaked. "I shouldn't really say it. I mean. It's just… my animal friends overheard something about Spike and Rainbow Dash becoming a couple."

Applejack rubbed her chin in thought. "Ya know… I hadn't thought of it before. But I reckon those two would make a nice couple."

"You really think so? I… well… I had a plan to get them together." Fluttershy admitted. "I don't know… maybe it'll work."

Applejack sipped her tea and thought about it as Fluttershy explained her plan. "Sounds a bit risky. But I reckon it's a pretty good plan."

"Hopefully she won't be too upset when she finds out who set it up." Fluttershy sighed.

"I don't think she will be." Applejack countered. "Getting them a week together for a little romance. RD might just thank ya for it." Seeing Fluttershy smile, she nodded and returned to sipping her tea as the two agreed to change the subject.

Heading to the plan

Over the next few hours Spike sat and thought about what the mare said. It was a tempting offer. And with how crazy Twilight has been acting about the spell. Maybe it was a good idea for him to leave town for a few days. With his decision made, Spike wrote a note explaining why he was gone before packing a few things and hopped the next train to Mainhatten.

The next morning, Rainbow woke to a knock on the door. Groaning, she flew over and opened the door to find Derpy with a letter in her mouth. "Do you realize what time it is?" Rainbow groaned before taking the letter.

"Sorry Rainbow Dash. I was told to deliver it as soon as I could today." Derpy replied.

Rainbow sighed and stepped back into her house. "It's fine, Derpy. Come on in. You still have time before the post opens."

"Thank you Rainbow Dash. But I still need to get a few things before work." She replied before they waved goodbye and she flew off.

Shrugging, Rainbow sat on her couch and opened the letter.

"Deer Rainbow Dash,
You have been invited to Mainhatten for special Wonderbolts training. Please arrive as soon as possible to the train station in Mainhatten to begin your very own changes to experience the life of a Wonderbolt celebrity.

Blinking in shock, Rainbow jumped for joy as she sped around and quickly packed before writing a quick note letting her friends know where she'll be. "Next stop. My future!" She cheered before starting her trip to Mainhatten.

Twilight groaned as she exited her room and entered the main room to find Spike had done his chores and to her surprise, had even left a note.

After scanning it for a moment Twilight let out a relieved sigh. "At least have some much needed alone time to think about how he feels about Rarity." She laughed before putting the letter in a box she kept of his letters.

Smiling, she let out a sigh and went back to reading some books to try and find some way to find an answer to the strange pony and the scroll.

She almost didn't notice the door open as Pinkie bounced in. "Hi Twilight." She cheered looking around. "Wow. You really are researching something big time."

"Hi Pinkie. What's up?" Twilight asked as she continued reading.

"Oh… right. I was just stopping by to invite each of my friends to a party." She chimed.

"Sorry Pinkie. You know I normally would love to come to one of your parties." Twilight sighed. "But I need to figure this out before something bad happens."

"Really? But I invited some reeeeeealy good looking stallions for us to have fun with." Pinkie sighed. "I even convinced Big Mac and Fancy Pants to come."

Twilight blinked as she felt a familiar itch quickly grow. Biting her lip, she looked over her notes. "I guess I can hold off on my studies for a little while."

"So does that mean you'll come?"

"Yes Pinkie. I'll come to your party." Twilight sighed with a smile.

"Great! After I found out Dashy won't be in town. I was worried that my other friends wouldn't make it but luckily she's the only one not coming." Pinkie giggled.

"Wait… WHAT!?!?!?!?!"

Freakout for fashion

Mainhatten, one of the largest cities in Equestria. And home of the largest group of companies ranging from food to music, even fashion and stardom of nearly every kind. And it's in this town that Rainbow Dash is expecting to get a first hoof experience for what her future as a member of the Wonderbolts has in store.

Landing at the train station, she took a moment to catch her breath before looking around for whoever she was surprised to meet.

"You must be Rainbow Dash. It's like, totally awesome to meet you." A voice called.

Turning, Rainbow blinked as a unicorn approached with a smile. "Yeah. That's me. I take it you're the pony I'm supposed to talk to."

"You bet." She replied. "Name's Sparkling. I hear you've like, totally a famous flier already. You totally like, performed that amazing rainboom. You totally deserve the chance to be a Wonderbolt."

Rainbow Dash smiled and puffed out her chest. "I know. I'm awesome."

"Let's not waste time. We got like, a lot to do in a short time." She announced before turning to leave.

Smirking, Rainbow followed her down the street. As they made their way down the street, Sparkling told her about all the exciting things she had planned for them. "We'll start with your public image." She announced. "I understand that you might think it's trivial. But I'll need you to sign a contract. Basically saying you agree to taking the course."

Rainbow waved her hoof in dismissal. "Yeah yeah yeah. I know I'm awesome. Just pass me the contact so we can get to the good stuff."

Smiling Sparkling levitated over a clipboard and pen. After Rainbow quickly signed it she put it back into her saddlebag with a knowing smile. "Great. Then our first stop is getting you a new look. Maybe even a few new dresses."

Twilight paced back and forth at Sugarcube Corner as her friends sat and waited as she ranted. "I can't believe this. I thought with Spike in Mainhatten, that would give us a chance to work out what the spell did. And with Rainbow Dash with us, we'd be able to take care of whatever that stallion…"

"Y'all reckon she'll be doing this for a while?" Applejack asked, sitting next to her friends.

"I do in dead, darling." Rarity replied with a sigh. "Any idea what she's going on about?"

Fluttershy rubbed her chin. "I think she said it was some kind of spell… Do you think…"

"One of them casted it not knowing it was a spell and now Twilight's trying to keep them apart while she looks for an answer and is panting at the thought they went to the same place?" Pinkie asked with a giggle.

"That was oddly specific." Rarity pointed out. "But knowing Twilight. I believe it." She sighed before turning to her friends. "Any ideas?"

Applejack looked at the door with a smirk before moving to Twilight. Putting up a hoof she stopped her in her pacing. "Twilight. I reckon now would be a good time to take a break."

"Applejack. I need to find out what that spell did and what that stallion is up to." Twilight countered. "And with Rainbow and Spike who knows where. There's no telling what will happen."

"Well then it's a good thing you're not alone. And ya still have the princess you can ask about the spell." Applejack rimmed her.

"But Spike."

"Isn't the only way you can send letters to the princess." Applejack interrupted. "And until y'all get a reply. Ya can rest and take some personal time. And enjoy yourself." She said looking back at the door as it opened revealed some stallions as they entered.

The girls smiled as they sat back and watched Twilight blink as she bit her lip. "Why don't you guys help Twilight relax." Applejack suggested. "We can wait for the others to arrive."

Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie nodded in agreement as the guys looked at each other before smiling at Twilight as she blushed nervously. The girls had a good feeling that she was in good hooves. Turning away, they quietly agreed to give them some privacy and find a different place to have their fun. And maybe send a letter to the princess about Twilight's concerns.

Rainbow Dash sighed as she sat while ponies worked on her main and tail while she watched a second group making dresses. "Look. I get, wanting to look your best and all. But I do have my limits on this kind of stuff."

"Of course, darling. Like, a pony as totally amazing as you obviously has her limits." Sparkling agreed with a nod. "But are you going to let limits stop you from wowing the crowd?"

Rainbow Dash huffed and slumped. "Fine. Just don't make me look lame."

"Don't worry yourself there. You're totally going to turn some heads." She giggled before adding under her breath. "Not to mention the stallions will like the end result."

Rainbow Dash sighed and rolled her eyes before letting them put the first of what was likely many dresses on her. "Just stand there and keep your eye on the ball on the wall." A stallion instructed. "We'll take care of the rest." Sighing Rainbow nodded before following his instruction.

"Phase one complete." An elderly voice chuckled from the shadows.

From two to three. Drinks are on me

View Online

Rainbow Dash turned calmly as the ponies praised her appearance. After three dresses, she was actually happy that this one actually had a bit of a wild side to it. Though not exactly the fancy look Rarity would go for. It wasn't exactly something she considered showing to others either.

Still… it felt… nice. It felt cool, awesome, fast, and sexy…wait… what was that last thing? Whatever. It didn't matter as long as she was getting ready to be a Wonderbolt.

"Ok Rainbow Dash." An elderly voice said from behind an old camera that looked like it took hours just to take one picture.

"Whatever." She huffed. "Just make it quick."

No sooner did she say that, than several stallions came over as the orb was placed on top of the camera. "Don't worry. We're just going for a few pictures with some fans for now." He laughed. "Just keep your eyes on the ball."

Spike sighed as he arrived at the train station and smiled as he started looking around. He had to admit that after doing errands for the girls for so long. It felt nice to have time to himself.

Taking a deep breath he rubbed his chin and thought about what he should do first. He looked around unsure of what he should do. There were so many things to do and he didn't know what he should do first or for how long he'd be in town.

As he rounded the corner a stallion passed him a flier with several places listed on it. According to the heading, they had a contest for guys to go down the list and get a prize at the end.

"Nut and hop?" He questioned.

"Yeap." The stallion replied with a smile. "Rut a girl at each place and win a prize at the final location. It's a yearly event." He paused and rubbed his chin." The last guy won an all expense trip to a sexy vacation stop for him and his fiance."

Spike thought for a moment. Maybe he can offer the prize to his future marefriend as a gift. That would definitely earn him some points… Maybe Rarity would like a nice fancy weekend from work. Or… Fluttershy would like a nice trip to an exotic place with new animal friends. Then again… if it was something sweet. Pinkie would be perfect.

Sighing he rubbed his head with a sigh. "Do you know what the prize will be?"

"Nope. But you get to stay at each place for free at each location. One per night. It's well worth the chances to get your rocks off." He laughed before leaving him alone and started off with a knowing smile. It wasn't going to be much of a change of pace. But on the plus side. He was getting food and some tail. "Sign me up." He cheered.

"Great." The stallion laughed. "Just go to the first club on the list. And enjoy your weekend of mares and sex. Who knows. You might just win."

Spike followed him as the topic dawned on him. "So… what is the prize and how do I know if I won?"

"The prize is different every time." The stallion replied. "So are the rules come to think of it. Kinda weird. But who cares."

Spike shrugged and entered the first club and drank a drink that was offered to him. Licking his lips, he looked around the room at the mare's that were flashing their flanks at him.

Rainbow sat and rubbed her head. She didn't know who was responsible. But whoever left that pin in the tiara was going to get a piece of her mind. She huffed as she looked over at a few of the pictures that were taken of her. Admittedly, the first few looked like she was going through the motions. There were a few pictures that looked like she was posing for an action pic.

To her surprise she actually felt something about them was off… the stallion was just standing there. She rolled her eyes at the idea for a moment. But the more she thought about it and looked at the other pictures, the more it made sense. The last few she saw looked like she was more relaxed and actually had a hoof on his shoulder, or even had him with his arm around her.

Sparkling smiled and gave Rainbow a hug. "You were amazing. And you looked like, super hot. I bet once the Wonderbolts see you, they'll be like, totally going to beg you to join." She praised. "What do you say we get you some popularity points?"

"Really? How?" Rainbow asked.

"Just trust me. You are going to be like… the biggest thing sense, like… the Wonderbolts." She cheered.

"Yeah… I can't wait to see what's next." Rainbow replied with a smile as she thought about what she did with the stallions… or what she didn't do… what did she do?

Feeling the love

Sparkling led Rainbow down the street and into the back door of a club. "If we're going to boost your popularity, we'll need to get you some connections with some high grade and high class ponies." She explained as Rainbow looked around with a hint of suspicion.

"And what exactly am I expected to do?" Rainbow asked.

"Oh… you know. Pose, dance, do a few challenges." She replied nonchalantly. "You know, like, whatever." Rainbow sighed and rolled her eyes as they stopped at a door. "Well. Here's your room. Good luck. And, like, hang out and the ponies will come to you."

Sighing, Rainbow went in and noticed a glowing orb. Instantly her head became foggy as she licked her lip as she scanned the room. She didn't really know why. But she wondered what all she could do with her clients in each part of the room. As the door opened she heard a ding and Instantly turned to the door with a sultry smile as a unicorn walked in licking his lips. "Hay Fancy. What would you like me to do?"

Twilight moaned as she laid in a pile of hay as cum dripped from nearly every hole. Taking a deep breath she looked over at the stallions as their hind legs twitched. Taking a deep breath she sighed as she noticed that there were a few more stallions than there were when they had started.

As she went to sit up, a hoof pulled her close with a disapproving moan. Looking over she blushed at Big Mac as he lay there with a goofy smile as he nuzzled her neck.

Letting out a soft sigh, she used her magic to move his hoof before getting up and wobbling out the barn.

She had to admit that she really needed that. Not only to help her unwind, but also to help her scratch an itch that she almost didn't realize was growing.

After calmly making her way home, she notices a candle lit with Spike's flame. Smiling, she rolled her eyes and sat at her desk and wrote a letter to the princess about what happened, while keeping several details left out about what happened at the barn.

After sending the letter she decided to get some real food in her as she waited for a response. After all, if Spike was going to spend more time with the others, she was going to need to get used to doing things like cooking for herself again.

Rarity let out a soft sigh as she sat on her couch with her partner with a soft smile. "You know dear. I wonder… Do you think we should tell the others about us?" She asked softly. After getting a muffled groan she sighed. "I suppose you're right. Telling them all at once would be best. But I wonder how long we'll be able to keep this a secret. After all… keeping a secret from Applejack isn't really an easy task." She sighed. "I am surprised we've been able to keep it secret for this long. And I'm running out of excuses for us to spend some private time together." Letting out a sigh she nuzzled her lover. "Let's just hope if Applejack finds out, she'll understand and keep it quiet until we're ready to tell them." She received a happy and agreeing murmur before falling asleep in her lover's embrace.

Applejack and Pinkie sighed as they worked together to take care of some of the chores on the farm. They both had their own feeling that they knew what was going on. But neither one really had the guts to say it. It meant they would break the unspoken promise of trust they had. But what they did feel free to talk about was…

"Ok OK ok. What if… the changelings came back. And grew dicks?" Pinkie asked.

Applejack bucked a tree before pausing to think. "I reckon they'd have to make up for attacking Canterlot first." She replied as her friend set up the next basket.

"Yeah. I get that. But would you?"

Applejack shrugged and continued working. "I guess. But I'd have to be might pent up and they'd have to beg… or something."

Pinkie giggled as she worked on dumping apples into barrels. "Me too…" Pinkie suddenly stopped as her mane and tail went limp. "AJ?... do… Do you think there's something to Twilight's worry?"

"Y'all mean about RD, Spike or that stranger?" Applejack asked as she moved over to comfort her friend.

"All of it." Pinkie sighed. "She started acting… different and talked about that pony… then Rainbow and Spike leave and…"

Applejack pulled her into a hug. "Y'all heard what she said. They're in the same town. RD can handle herself. And Spike's a clever guy. They'll be fine."

"But that pony…"

"I don't know about the odd one. But something tells me that white one's on our side." Applejack replied, stroking her mane. "Now don't ya worry none… what ya say we take a break and have some pie? Big Mac help make it." She winked, getting a giggle and nod from her friend. With that the two made their way to the barn.

From lust to love

Twilight sat back at her desk and started eating as she looked over her schedule, working over her to do list with some much needed alone time with her new stallion friends. Normally she had nearly every day packed with tasks to do. But with Spike being away for so long. She had to find a new way to work through her tasks.

As she thought about her to-do list, she glanced over at her enchanted calendar. "Wait… I've been gone for how long?" She gasped. Moments later the front door swung open as Luna quickly came in and quickly checked the rooms before turning to check the windows and mirrors. Twilight watched in shock and confusion as the princess tapped every reflective surface before quickly covering it and moving to the next.

"Ummm… princess?... what are you doing?"

Luna took a moment to take a deep breath before turning to her. "How long ago have you seen the white stallion?" Luna asked.

"About a week ago." Twilight replied in confusion. "Why do you ask?"

"Then he truly has returned." She muttered as she looked away for a moment in thought. "Why?"

"Ummmm… princess? What are you talking about?" Twilight asked in growing concern.

After a few moments of thought, Luna turned to Twilight and sighed. "I'm sorry Twilight. I can't tell you much about him. But know this… he is a pony that you must not cross."

"If that's true. Then why is he here? Why did he give me those scrolls?" Twilight asked.

"I do not know why he came. But if he gave you something. Then it would be wise to heed his advice." Luna replied. "Last time he got involved… well… you know what happened to the Bushwoolies?"

"The what?"

Luna sighed and hung her head as Twilight had a sudden dark shill run down her spine. "I guess it is best if you do not." She sighed. "Let us hope none of your friends draw his rage."

Twilight gulped and looked at the scroll Spike had read in a new light and fear.

Rainbow sat in the main room of the cub with one of her customers as she rubbed his dick with a wing as they made out. She didn't mind it to be honest. It might have been a bit embarrassing in the past to be doing something like this in public before she did the special training. But now it was actually a bit exciting.

Neither of them noticed the dragon that entered nore did they really pay him any mind as he sat at the bar across the room from them. Taking a deep breath he placed his order and looked around at which mare would possibly be the first that he actually… freezing, his eyes locked on a familiar Rainbow mane.

Gulping, he found it impossible to look away as his heart raced, muscles tensed and a voice whispered one word in the back of his mind. He didn't want to listen to it. She was his friend. After all, he had a crush on Rarity… right? But… if that was true. Why was seeing her fawning over another stallion annoying? But seeing this… All he wanted to do was bite his head off for messing with her. "No." Spike scolded himself. "She's her own mare. A strong, fast, athletic, flexible, fashionable, attractive…" He blinked and gulped as he watched them. "Crap…"

Spike was finally able to turn when he heard the waiter call him. However, as he was turning away, he noticed the stallion drop something into Rainbow's drink. Getting up he walked over and snatched the drink from Rainbow as she was about to take a sip. "What the hell man?" The stallion spat.

Rainbow was about to tell him off before recognizing Spike's scales. "She's not drinking that." Spike growled. He didn't listen to the voice in his head. Even though it seemed to approve of his actions. But he also didn't want to do what it wanted him to. At least most of it… for now.

"Why not? It's just some rum." The stallion huffed.

Spike held the drink out to him. "Then you wouldn't mind taking a drink." Spike held the drink out as Rainbow looked between the two before glaring at the stallion.

"Do it or get out." She ordered. "You knew the rules. And unless you prove you didn't break them. Then you can leave."

After a few moments the stallion huffed and got up before pushing past them. "Whatever. That bitch had enough partners-" was all he got out before Spike grabbed and held his muzzle shut. His eyes widened as Spike picked him up and followed a worker out the back as they were taking out the trash.

After tossing him into the trash with used tissues and condoms, Spike returned to his friend who was smiling at him. "What do you say, We go to my room and have some privacy?"

Spike gulped and followed her to her room and sat on the couch. After a quick recap about what they each went through, a part of Spike felt proud of himself for not risking with any of the other mares. "So… are you still aiming to fly with the Wonderbolts?"

"Well…" She laughed. "As long as I get to be on the team somehow. Even if-"

"If they won't let you fly with them it's their loss." Spike interrupted. "You shouldn't have to use your body just to be close to them. That should be saved for your somepony."

Rainbow smiled and shrugged. "True. And I do have a few qualifications for my ideal partner."

"What are they? I might be able to help look for some candidates." Spike asked as he leaned forward.

"Well… considering the lack of potential flyers… being able to just talk or chillax with him is a must. Being kind and helpful is a plus… oh. And having stamina that'll last longer than ten seconds." Seeing Spike fight back his urge to laugh, she smiled. "I know I like things fast. But if I don't get to enjoy it. So size and stamina helps. Oh and a sense of humor."

Spike sat back and rubbed his chin in thought. "Those are some steep requirements. Sadly I can't think of any stallion… maybe Big-"

"He prefers unicorns." She countered as she looked him over.

Spike's nostrils flared for a moment as a scent caught his attention. And just like that, his attention was pulled back to the voice that was now screaming in his ear. His eyes locked with hers as he realized she already had a male in mind. "Rainbow i…" mine. "Well. It's not that I don't find you attractive…" mine. "But I don't think you considered the implications."

"Listen Spike. I've seen and been with plenty of guys. In more than one way. And unless you can prove that you don't meet my standards. Then I don't see the problem. Besides, I bet the girls would prefer us being together more than me being with half the guys out there." Rainbow countered. "But I'll understand if you don't think you know enough about mares to satisfy me."

Why did she have to say that? He thought. He had to admit she was right about a lot of things. But it wasn't as simple as being able to pleasure her. The voice in his head was demanding he take her up on the challenge. To show her he can do more than just satisfy her. It… no… he wanted to be her stallion. MINE!

Spike got up and quickly flipped her onto her back, before he even realized it. Now, looming over her. He looked into her eyes. "I'll start slow… at least till you say otherwise."

Smiling, Rainbow used her wing to help guide him. Even though only a few inches were poking out at her. She was eager to feel more. Ready to give herself to somepony finally. Someone that really cared about her. Somedrac that saw her as a real mare. Her dragon… her Spike.

"Rainbow?... if I do this… it'll mean that we're mates… that you're my mare and… you're my mare." He explained licking her neck. "I don't know if I'll be able to control myself next time I see you with another stallion like that. Even without the drugs." He growled softly as his body shook with barely contained eagerness and fear. "So… if you're unsure about giving up that kind of life… then please. Stop me-"

Rainbow gave her answer and stopped his rambling with a kiss before guiding his tip into her sacred hole. Ending any hope for another stallion to take her and bonding them as one. This was going to be a long night. But neither of them had any complaints. The free food and drinks was a bonus too, and helped through the night.

Lovers and mates

Spike moaned as he slowly woke to find Rainbow laying on the floor, rubbing her belly. At first he was smiling at the look of content on her face. However, as soon as he noticed why she seemed happy, a lump formed in his throat.

"Crap. What was I thinking? What will she do when she realizes what I did? Will she notice?" He thought as he looked around desperately thinking of a way to avoid making her mad. There wasn't much he was really able to find that'd explain the size of her stomach. Sure he might be able to blame it on all the food they ate. But he doubted he'd be able to explain the pool or smell.

Even with his concerns and fears, a large part of him felt pride in seeing her happy in a pool of a mix of their love making. And as he slowly crawled off the bed Rainbow looked over at him and smiled.

"Hey big guy. So… should we talk about what happened or…" She asked, trying to keep her tough mare appearance.

Spike sighed and scooped her up into his arms. "We need a bath. And yes we need to talk."

Normally Rainbow would have kicked him in the side of his head for holding her like a helpless foal. But ever since she had taken the special training… She wasn't as worried about looking tough. In fact… she found herself enjoying how it felt being held by Spike. All those stallions she was with definitely didn't make her feel as wanted or safe as she does now.

Once in the tub, Spike started to scrub her as she tried to piece together everything that had happened to them since the moment they met in the other room. A small part of her admittedly was a bit embarrassed that she did all that with him. That small part slowly started to grow the more she thought about it.

Unlike the other stallions, Spike didn't just keep to her rules. But he actually made sure she actually was enjoying it too. Without even meaning to, she had actually started wanting more. She quickly shook her head from those thoughts. "He just really needed the relief." She told herself. "Not like-"

"Dash?... about what happened…" Spike sighed as Rainbow gulped. "I…" Taking a deep breath, he knew if he didn't get it out now… he would have the courage to do it later. "I want you to be my… mate." He said, clamping his mouth shut at what he had blurted out. He had meant to say "marefriend", but his instinct had forced out the word "mate".

Rainbow blinked in shock as his words bounced around in her head for a moment before replying. "What about Rarity? I thought you had a crush on her."

Spike sighed knowing there was no going back now and sat in the tub, wrapping his arms around her and pulled her close so neither of them were able to see the other's face. "I learned a lot while I was in town about dragons."

"Really? I thought ponies were too scared of dragons to get close enough to them to learn anything about them." Rainbow replied.

Spike shrugged. "Turns out the ones that did learn about dragons kept it quiet."

"Why?"

"Well… one reason is because… well… when a dragon finds a mate… they can become vulnerable." Spike sighed.

"What do you mean?"

"Before I go on. I need to hear your reply. Will you be my mate?" Spike asked nervously.

Rainbow thought for a moment before closing her eyes and sighing. "I don't know Spike. This is really sudden… I mean… we haven't even started to date yet." She thought for a moment before putting a hoof on his claw. "But if you don't mind us taking it slow. I'm willing to give us a try. So about that weakness?"

Spike smiled and kissed her neck. "We give a part of our heart to our partner. And would do anything to keep them safe. Even give our lives for them."

"So… does that mean?..."

"You have my heart." He replied, letting out a soft growl that vibrated through his chest and into her.

Rainbow's heart skipped a beat as she bit her lips. She didn't know what to say. Or even really think about this. On one hoof, she had found a guy that was the closest to a cool stallion from Ponyville she could find. And on top of that would rely on her as much as she'd rely on him when the time comes. On the other hoof, she had yet guaranteed her position in the Wonderbolts, and didn't know if being with him would risk her chances. Did she want to take that risk? What if she had a kid? Can they have kids?

Of all the thoughts rushing through her head, the biggest point that pushed itself to the front of her mind was "he wants me to be his mate".

After a few moments, she tilted her head back and kissed his chin. "What do you say we take some time to get to know each other then? And till we get back to Ponyville. You and I can have a bit of fun."

Spike smiled and turned her around to look him in the eyes. "I can live with that." He said softly. Once again that troublesome part of him pushed forward. However, this time it felt different. It wasn't filled with gage towards the stallion, nore was it fueled with longing for her. Instead, he felt content, joy and fulfillment at the thought that she wanted to be with him. "My Rainbow… My lover… My mate."

Secrets to keep

Twilight sat at her desk as she munched on some hayburgers. She didn't want to admit her habit of working herself to starvation. But with what she was dealing with. It was this or find a stallion to rut her brains out. Though that might not exactly be a bad thing. But she didn't want to become addicted or dependent on them… then again…

Twilight let out an annoyed groan as she slammed her head into the table, unintentionally impaling the hayburger on her horn. "I need help… a lot of it."

Sighing, she sat back and pulled her sandwich off her horn before eating it in a huff. "Stupid big ducked Big Mac…" She grumbled.

Just then the door swung open as Pinkie bounced in chanting. "They're coming! They're coming!"

"What?"

"I got a combo. You know what that means!" She cheered.

"You're hungry?"

"Not any more. I got a hayburger before coming over." Pinkie replied, stopping for a moment to reply before bouncing again. "Nope. Spike and Rainbow are on their way over at this very moment!"

"Great. I'll be sure to say hi when they arrive." Twilight sighed before returning to her burger.

"Come on Twilight. We have to be there to welcome them back. If we don't. Who knows what spicy information they might conveniently forget." Pinkie complained.

Sighing, Twilight got up and smiled at her. "Fine. I can tell you're not going to stop till I agree."

Pinkie gave her a hug ad the two shared a laugh before heading out to join the others in welcoming the two back from their trip.

Spike sat back moaning in the private train cart as he looked out the window. He had taken these trips several times already. And was fairly certain they were getting closer to home. "Dash… we're getting… closer to… home…"

Pulling away for a moment. She licked her lips, "then how about a ten second blow?"

Spike blushed and smiled at her with heavy breaths. "With how long you've been keeping me on the edge. Ten seconds might be a bit slow." He teased.

She smiled and licked the length of his dick. "Who said I've been trying to keep you at your limits? Maybe you're the one that's keeping me at mine." She countered glancing back at his tail as it teased her pussy.

"Then let's finish together." He suggested picking her up and flipping her over. As she took his dick into her mouth to the hilt, he slid his tongue into her till he hit her depths.

Both of them stayed still for a moment savoring the flavor of their lover just a bit longer before they arrived in town. With a soft moan from Rainbow, Spike started moving his arms, tongue and hip. With hoe pent up they both were, it didn't take long before they both started to cum into the other.

As the train pulled to a stop they separated and cleaned each other off before gathering their things and departed the train. With Spike carrying the majority of the luggage as usual. However with his new size and strength. Even doing it on all fours was easy for him.

"You got everything ok, Rainbow?" He asked.

"I'm fine." She replied softly. "Just thinking about a few things."

"Like what?"

"Us… about what we should tell the girls… what my role will be in the Wonderbolts." She replied, frowning at the lack of her friends there to greet them. "I may end up joining as a-"

She was suddenly cut off by a blast of confetti as a particular pink pony appeared shouting. "SURPRISE!!!!!!!"

Spike and Rainbow took a step back as their friends came over. "Hay! How was the trip?" Twilight called as her and the others froze in shock at the new look Spike was sporting.

"Hi… mind if we go inside to talk?" He asked nervously.

To Fluttershy's credit, she was more shocked than scared when she saw him. And when she heard him speak, she relaxed and smiled at him.

One sexless explanation later.

"And after getting caught up. We came back." Spike finished.

"Yeah… and that's the end of our story. No need to dove into details." Rainbow laughed. "It was actually kinda boring anyway. Right Spike?"

"Definitely boring." Spike laughed as they attempted to sneakily move to the door. "Oh look at the time. I should really help Rainbow get her souvenirs home."

As the two zipped out the door Rarity sighed and tilted her head. "Do you think Spike will be eager to flex those muscles for me too?" Turning, she blinked at her friends' blank stares. "What?"

Applejack and Twilight turned to each other. "Ya think we should tell her?" Applejack asked.

"Tell me what?

"I'm sure she'll figure it out." Twilight replied as they turned and started to leave.

Rarity sat and blinked in confusion for a minute. "Figure what out?..."

From outside the girls heard a loud... "SPIKEY-WIKEY!!!!!!!!!!!" Come from inside making them laugh as they left.

Spike sighed as he set the boxes down on Rainbow's couch and turned as she jumped into his arms, kissing his lips. He held her close and fell back on the empty space of the couch. He didn't really know why she was getting so excited. They had purposely avoided details that would have hinted at anything between them. And yet here she was… hot horny and trying to…

*knock knock knock*

Rainbow groaned and sat up glaring at the door. "One moment please!"

Spike sighed and set her down. "Maybe you should go… freshen up." He sighed as she nodded and stomped off to the bathroom. A part of him was grateful for the distraction. He really didn't want to risk being in the middle of anything when someone came over. Walking to the door he opened it and smiled at seeing Twilight. "Oh… hay Twilight. What brings you so soon? Rainbow is…"

"I actually came over to see you." She replied quickly. "I've been thinking about a few things… and…" She levitated out a scroll. "It's not much. But… I got it furnished already… though the bed will have to be switched and the bathroom might need a bit of modifying…"

"Twilight… are you… kicking me out?" Spike asked in shock.

"What? No! Never… kinda… maybe…" She sighed and looked away. "I… just thought you'd want to have your own place… maybe start your own business… maybe a family…"

Spike blinked and looked at the scroll. "It's… wait… THAT’S FOR ME!?!?!?!"

"Guess I went overboard." Twilight admitted meekly.

"YOU THINK!!!!? That place is huge! What am I going to do with all that space?" Spike asked, still in disbelief.

"Well… you can use it to start a business."

"Like what?"

Twilight thought for a moment before smiling. "Interspecies trade? Maybe… rent out the other rooms?"

Rainbow came over and noticed the paper. She thought for a moment before getting an idea. "If you want an idea for how to get started. I have some ideas."

"Great." Twilight announced before turning away quickly. "Then I'll leave it to you two and-"

"Who is it?" Rainbow asked with a smirk.

"W… what?"

"You're… going to go see a stallion. Aren't you?" Spike sighed.

"What makes you think that? I'm not going to the orchard. Why would I need apples?"

Spike held up his claws and started to count on them. "You're wearing perfume, you came straight over after we JUST left the castle, your legs keep twitching, and I didn't mention anything about apples." Smirking, he added. "Plus we lived together long enough for me to know you. He's a good stallion."

Twilight couldn't help it. She spun around and jumped into his arms and hugged him. "I love you too Spike." She cried as Spike returned the hug for a moment before flying her to the ground. "You can move in when you're ready. Rainbow too. I'm sure we can arrange for her things to be moved. And don't be a stranger."

"You too… sis." He sighed.

Twilight turned and rushed off, knowing that had she stayed any longer, she would have taken back everything she said and begged him to stay with her.

Spike sighed as he watched her vanish into the distance before looking up at Rainbow who looked like she had mixed feelings as well. "Maybe… we should wait till after you…"

Spike flew up and put a claw over her lips. "Let's check it out together." He said softly. "Besides, I need an expert at all things cool to help examine the place."

Rainbow smiled and joined him as they flew to the large house.

After exploring the two story house. They came to an agreement… It had way too many bedrooms for just the two of them. Even if they let one creature from each of their allies move in, they'd still have a few rooms left over. Which gave Rainbow an idea.

"Hay Spike. What if we rented out the upstairs rooms? Or let creatures from across the land stay while they go to school here?" Rainbow suggests.

"Well… we'd have to have some limitations on who can stay…" Spike pointed out with a nod of agreement.

"And we can come up with a list of rules they'd have to agree to follow or get kicked out." Rainbow added.

Spike rubbed his chin as Rainbow wrote down a list of things they wanted changed or added. "But what would we use the other rooms for?"

Rainbow smirked at him. "I can think of a few ideas. We each can have a room to use however we want. And one that we can use later. And of course our bedroom."

Spike blinked as he quickly caught on to what she was saying. "Oh… I'll… start packing my things." He announced before flying out of the room.

Once he was gone, Rainbow sighed and looked at the list. "I wonder if adding a nursery would be too obvious right now…"

Rarity sighed as she paced in her workplace. She didn't understand why it bothered her so much that he was with HER. He always wanted to spend time with her. And it wasn't like she had feelings for him before. So why now? Why did his chiseled pecs, sculpted abs and…

"I… lost my chances with him… didn't I?" She sighed.

"I'm sorry. If you want to-" Fluttershy started before she was stopped by Rarity's hoof.

"No… I'm sorry dear. It's just hormones talking." Rarity admitted with a smile. "Seems I may be entering my cycle, and my body has a type. But you have my heart."

Fluttershy thought for a moment before smiling. "Well… if you wouldn't mind some experimenting… I may know an alternative that we both can enjoy."

"Oh?" Rarity asked before a possible idea popped into her mind. "Well… I suppose I should try something new. Plus, I'm more than willing to give your ideas a try as well."

Smiling, the two made their way to Fluttershy's cottage.

Moving day

Twilight sat with Big Mac after their "date" as he listened to her talk about what happened in town recently. A smile came across his face at the news about Spike and Rainbow Dash. And despite his efforts, he laughed hearing her mention it being a surprise.

"What's so funny?" She asked.

"Twilight. Didn't ya say before how she was worried about him going to the dragon lands?" He replied.

"Yes…"

"She wasn't worried about his well-being was she?" He asked.

Twilight thought for a moment. "Well… no. Not completely. And she was eager to blow our cover to protect him…"

"And out of everypony in town. Who did she pick to write things down for her?"

Twilight blinked and facehoofed. "I can't believe I didn't see it sooner."

"I reckon they didn't either." He laughed. "But the signs were there."

Twilight smiled and nuzzled up against him with a sigh. "Well… I think we can agree that things are working out for the best."

"Eeyup." He replied as they both laughed. He didn't like to talk much. But somehow, being with her… he felt like he could talk to her about anything. He felt… right.

Applejack sighed as she sat at her cart in town as she watched ponies pass by. She was happy for her friends. She honestly was… but… she also felt jealous. Twilight and her brother made a surprisingly cute couple… Rainbow and Spike worked… Pinkie had that Sandwich stallion… and somehow Rarity and Fluttershy made some sense.

She sighed and eyed a few ponies that passed by. She couldn't help but to wonder… "When will I find MY somepony?" It was aggravating. Was she too focused on her country style of life to be noticed? Should she try mixing in some of her Mainhatten ways to draw attention to herself? Maybe it was the way she looked?

She looked herself over, for a moment. She did know a few things about fashion. She'd have to thank her aunt and uncle for that. Maybe she can make it work. Toss together a few things from the dresses Rarity made for her.

As the idea started to appeal to her, she noticed a familiar stallion passing with his head hung. "Zephyr Breeze?" She called in shock. To her surprise he didn't quickly pick himself up as he went over to her. "What the hay happened?"

Sighing, he pointed to Rainbow and Spike as they crossed the street. "That happened." He sighed. "What is it he has that I don't?"

"Respect for one. A desire to make something of himself?" She replied flatly.

Zephyr blinked and hung his head. "I really messed things up for myself with her… didn't I?"

"Eeyup." She agreed before thinking for a moment. "But I reckon I have an idea on how you can earn some respect from her. And your sister."

"How?"

"Y'all come work at the farm." She replied with a smile. "I'll help get you in shape and ready to tackle any job."

Zephyr thought for a moment before nodding. "Not like I have much else to lose. When do we start?"

"Now." She replied pointing to the cart. "You can pull this up to the farm and we'll set you up with a schedule." The two smiled and packed up before making their way to the farm.

Spike sighed and sat on his old bed in Twilight's castle as he looked around the room for the last time. Taking a deep breath he sighed and closed his eyes as he remembered all the good times he had here. Though it was true he was able to come back any time he felt like it, he wanted to give Twilight a chance to be independent. And he needed the chance to do the same.

Grabbing the last box he made his way outside where Rainbow was arguing with a worker about a room…

"I told you that we can't put a lava pool in the basement. It'd make the rest of the house a death trap." He groaned.

"And I told you it's possible with magic. Fuck! MY home is waterproof. AND IT'S A FUCKING CLOUD!!!!" Rainbow snapped.

"She's right." Spike called as he made his way over. "A cooling spell on a few walls will take care of the temperature problem, you can connect it to a chimney for ventilation. And I can easily get Ember to supply us with the lava."

"But how are you going to keep it from cooling?" He asked smugly.

"Obviously the same way you'd keep the temperature regulated." A calm voice answered.

The group turned to see Luna approach with a soft smile. "Princess Luna!" They gasped as the stallion bowed.

"Let me worry about the temperature problems. You focus on construction of their home." She told him before motioning for him to leave. Once they were alone, she smiled and looked between the two. After a moment she smiled and turned away. "I came to see how you were doing after your extended vacation. But I can see that in a sense, you two have not announced the full extent of it to your friends."

"We're waiting for the right moment." Spike gulped.

Smiling, Luna looked back at them from over her shoulder. "I see… then I wish you the best of luck"

Rainbow quickly moved over to the princess and whispered. "What about what I asked in the letter?"

Luna smiled and nodded. "Fear not Rainbow Dash. I have already seen to your request being ready when you are. And I hope it was alright. I added a surprise to celebrate your finding a mate."

Rainbow nodded with a smile. "Thank you."

Plots, plans and preconceptions

Twilight and Big Mac smiled as they left the barn. They enjoyed each other's company. But they both knew they had work to do. And neither of them was ready to admit how close to the question they were. However, none of that mattered the moment Big Mac saw his sister.

"Y'all seeing… what I'm seeing?" He asked Twilight as she turned to look.

"Applejack and… Zephyr Breeze? Wait… is Zephyr… working?" She gasped.

"Eeyup. And she's… laughing?..." He replied.

"Eeyup…" She mirrored as they watched the two in complete shock. "Maybe you should keep an eye on them. I'll see if something happened in town."

Nodding the two shared a quick kiss before splitting up. Both hoped for it to be a miracle. But neither had much hope for THAT stallion.

Spike smiled as he watched Rainbow examine herself in the mirror of her cloud home. "I know you think I'm sexy. But are you going to just look? Or are you going to touch me?" She teased.

"I was just thinking. What if you didn't join the Wonderbolts?" Spike replied as he got up onto all fours and made his way over to stand next to her. "I… I don't know if I can stand the thought of you being alone with those stallions."

"You know there's mares in the Wonderbolts. Right?" She laughed before kissing the bottom of his jaw. "And if it makes you feel better. We can talk to Spitfire together. Maybe find you a mare to keep you company while I'm away."

"Please don't tease me like that." He sighed as he wrapped around her. "I… I don't want to be with any other mare but you."

"And what if I want to see you with another?"

Spike blinked at the question before pulling away and looking at her in shock. "Sorry… what?"

"I mean it." She laughed before putting a hoof on his cheek. "We both know that when I have a kid… or kids. You're going to need help. And If I'm putting my life in another's hooves. I also want to know I can trust them with you too."

"And what if they're a dragon?" He asked.

Rainbow laughed. "They can be the daughter of Discord for all I care. Just as long as they remember who the top female of the house is."

Spike laughed. "Careful hun. He might consider that a challenge."

The two shared a laugh, while in a separate dimension… Discord dunked a bowl of water in his ear causing steam to below out. "I don't know why. But for some reason I'm actually annoyed… wait… is this my chance? Of all the rotten-"

Rainbow turned and kissed Spike's neck. "How about this? You can pick a pony for me. And I'll pick a dragon for you."

"What if I picked Zephyr?" Spike teased.

"Would you really do that? You know I'd break him before he set a hoof on me." Rainbow laughed.

Spike sighed. "Fine. But I doubt it'll be easy to find a dragon who'd move to Ponyville. Or a stallion who'd want to live with a dragon."

"You underestimate Twilight." Rainbow countered as she turned back to her reflection and fixed her hair. "You do realize she sent out invites before offering you the place. Right? Besides, the kids will likely be staying at the school while our place will be for the older group."

Spike thought for a moment. "What if the kids don't want to stay at the school?"

"Then they get to learn how to keep a home clean. Oh and cook." Rainbow replied. "You're not going to cook everything."

Rarity and Fluttershy looked at a few plans they had laying on Rarity's kitchen table. "So far we have… sorry for tricking you into that model's hooves… congratulations on finding your special somepony…"

"And sorry for sabotaging your celebration." Fluttershy added.

"Yes… that. Let's hope we don't need that plan. Shall we? This is a good day for our friends." Rarity laughed.

"You don't sound happy." Fluttershy calmly pointed out.

"You're right." Rarity sighed. "Not only am I losing my number one helper. But I may have messed things up with Rainbow Dash too. And worse… my career may never recover."

Fluttershy blinked. "Oh my… but… are you sure it's going to be that bad?"

Rarity sighed and passed her a letter. "It came a little while ago. The company was so sure they would get her into the Wonderbolts."

"They're claiming that if she can't get in it's your fault." Fluttershy gasped at what she read.

"The worst part is." Rarity sniffed. "I don't want her to get in."

"But why?"

"Because of what I did. And because of what they did." Rarity explained as Fluttershy pulled her close. "I'd rather lose customers than see my friend suffer and more."

Fluttershy smiled and kissed Rarity's horn. "And that is why I love you. But you realize that she'll still find a way to get in. If for no other reason than to spite them."

Rarity sighed and smiled at Fluttershy. "You have a point. Maybe… we can see if…" Rarity gasped and smiled as an idea came to her. "Fluttershy dear. I may have an idea that is right up Rainbow's alley." She giggled before getting to work on a new set of plans.

Luna sat and glared across the table at Spoiled Rich as she slid a paper over to her. "Do not disappoint me mare." She warned. "You know what will happen if you do."
