A Conduit, now turned pony, appears in Equestria and their choices will determine the future of this world.
(Y/N) was just a simple human high schooler, and as well as hanging out with his best friend, (BF/N). (Y/N) wasn't like many other people, thinking that maybe Conduits should also be treated as people and not freaks of nature, and it wasn't long until he discovered that he was also a Conduit himself, causing an accident in the process. He realized that he would now be hunted down for the rest of his life by the D.U.P., now considered to be a threat to the world. He didn't enjoy having these powers but, all of a sudden, their powers start to go crazy and transports them to an unfamiliar land, a land filled with talking ponies, and becoming a pony themselves. (Y/N) decides that he could possibly start anew in this land, and understand these powers more, and possibly determine the fate of this land called "Equestria", while asking himself the question: Does he want this world to love him or fear him?
Have you ever thought about how your life would turn out if you found out that your conduit positive? I never thought about that until it was too late, and I never thought about the fact that I would travel to another world and be caught in a crossfire of sorts. My name is (Y/N) (L/N), and I’m a conduit with the power to control and manipulate Electricity.

Earth
I was just your normal human being going to high school and didn't really have a care in the world. I was just walking towards the entrance to the building and saw my friend (BF/N) getting pushed around by Jerome, the dumbass who believes he runs the place pretty much.
"You gonna do something, four-eyes?" "Leave me be, Jerome. You don't want to get (Y/N) involved do you?", (BF/N) said in a serious tone. "Puh-lease, what exactly is your loser friend going to do anyway?", said Jerome with a smug grin. "Going to get your ass kicked if you don't shut up and leave.", I said walking up to them.
(BF/N) was my best friend, and we met back in the 6th grade. He had the very description of a nerd: Glasses, always studious and also tried to tutor me every now and then to help me out in class. Anyways, I was just about to put Jerome the jackass in his place until...
*RIIIIIING*
The school bell had just rung, and Jerome gave another shit-eating grin and said, "Your four-eyed friend is lucky for now, freakshow. But don't think that you're gonna be left out of this!", Jerome said while storming off. "That guy is something else...", I said. "You got that right, (Y/N). C'mon, let's get going to class!"
Many Hours Later
"Hey (Y/N), do you need to use my study guide tonight for the upcoming test?" "Yeah, I might need it later tonight, (BF/N)."
*FAR-OFF SIRENS*
"Sounds like the D.U.P. got an alert about some 'Bio-Terrorist', or as you like to call them 'Conduits'.", (BF/N) said with a slightly sarcastic tone. "C'mon dude, I'm pretty sure they're people too! They can't help it, unless they're extremely psychotic...", I said with some concern. "Keep that tone up and, they'll possibly suspect you about being a Bio-Terrorist!" "Whatever, (BF/N) ..."
*Scoffs* The D.U.P., the Department of Unified Protection, the "ones who protect us from bioterrorism", those federal bastards just lock up Conduits wherever they could find them, innocent or not, and even before I discovered that I was a Conduit myself, I felt some sympathy for some of those Conduits, and I also admired a very certain Conduit that they kept on branding as a terrorist: Cole Macgrath, the Conduit that they kept on calling a "Demon" back in New Marais, but from what I heard , he stopped a giant Conduit that calls himself "The Beast", as well as taking down a group that they've called themselves "The First Sons" while taking some smaller gangs down in the process, and I was really distraught when I discovered that he got himself killed once he saved New Marais and defeated "The Beast", and they still called him a "Bioterrorist".
"Hey, look who we have here?", Jerome said from behind with some of his lackeys. "Four-eyes and his Bioterrorist loving friend!" "What do you want, Jerome?" "You two are just so forgetful, aren't you? You're about to get what you two were going to get this morning!" "Just beat it, Jerome. You and your cronies!", I said with a serious tone. "And miss out on all of this, you two get a hold of the 'terrorist lover', I got four-eyes here."
This was it. This was the very moment that had changed my life. I still regret it to this very day...
"What are you doing? Let me and (BF/N) go now!", I shouted. "Let's see... Nah, you gonna watch this whole thing go down.", Jerome said with a venomous tone. "Jerome, knock it off, please!", (BF/N) said with a pleading tone.
He pinned (BF/N) to the wall, and his guys were holding me down. (BF/N) was getting beaten by Jerome and there was no one else around to help the two of us out. But none of us were expecting something was going to start, something inside of me... the power of a Conduit.
*BZZZZZZT*
(Y/N) was screaming at the top of their lungs, while their power was just now starting to get unleashed onto the world. Jerome's goons that were holding him down, looked down in shock and let their hostage go in fear. (Y/N) had hold his hand out in fear and shot a bolt of lightning at both (BF/N) and Jerome. Unfortunately, the bolt had struck (BF/N) and startled Jerome.
I had struck my best friend on Earth, and I had discovered that I was one of them... I was a Conduit.
"Oh....oh god...THEY'RE A BIOTERRORIST!!!" "N...nononono, wait!" "Get away from us, freakshow! Everyone, run for it! There's a Bioterrorist here!"
They ran from me and, I checked to see if (BF/N) was okay: He didn't move.... at all... I got my best friend killed, and I didn't mean to either. I was just scared out of my mind about the fact that I now discovered that I've been a so-called bioterrorist.
"They just killed someone!" "No wait, it was an accident! I didn't think that I was a Conduit!" "Run for it! Let's get out of here before they'll kill someone else!"
I then knew for a fact that the D.U.P. would now try to hunt me down for just being what I am. I then decided to flee the city before they could get their hands on me, and I knew that I would leave a lot that means a lot to me: Like family, a few other friends, and missing out a bunch of activities that we would usually do together.
Meanwhile, in the city outskirts
I was just sitting in a clearing outside the city, with tears in my eyes, and a depressed state of mind. I discovered that the public will now treat me like a monster for what I am now, and the D.U.P. is now most likely looking for me now. My parents kept on trying to call me but, I just kept on declining the phone calls, I just had a feeling that conversation would let the D.U.P. track me down with just a simple phone call since they're part of the federal government. This is the whole reason why I now hate these powers and my whole life has now changed drastically. As I was just sitting around, my powers had then started to go crazy once again.
"What the hell!? What's going on now?!", I shouted.
Thunder and lightning started forming in the sky, and I felt like I was getting overcharged with electricity. Giant bolts of lightning had struck around the clearing and around me, I thought my powers were now going to get me killed somehow. With that thought in mind, a huge bolt of lightning had struck me causing me to black out, and what I didn't know was that I was about to travel to a whole new world, leaving the charred remnants of the clearing behind as well as my life back on Earth. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Canterlot
The moon was shining brightly in the night sky as a beautiful blue alicorn had raised the moon to end another day in Equestria, this was the princess of the night: Princess Luna. The Princess had stepped outside onto the balcony to oversee the night and the streets of Canterlot were clear of any noble ponies for the night.
"Another beautiful and peaceful night, and the moon shines brightly tonight.", Luna said with a smile.
As she was overlooking the capital city of Equestria, she saw some sparks of what appeared to be thunderbolts spontaneously appearing in the night sky, mainly above the far-off forest known to ponykind as "The Everfree Forest". She was curious, shocked, as well as confused about why this anomaly was occurring.
"How peculiar, the weather ponies aren't scheduled to have a thunderstorm tonight are they?"
Just as the Princess had said that, the thunderbolts started to strike down below the forest, and caused her to flinch at the sight and sound of the oncoming lighting strikes. Eventually, the lighting stopped, the Princess now on high alert at that very moment, extremely cautious about what would happen next but.... Nothing had happened.
"Surely everypony would have heard those lightning strikes, I must tell 'Tia in the morning about this strange anomaly. Twilight and the other elements of harmony would also most likely want to know what has happened!", Luna said with concern.
The morning sun rises, and near the outskirts of the Everfree Forest, there lay a pony in a small crater surrounded by burned flora, and scorched earth. The pony was surrounded by crackles of pure electricity as they woke up groggily with a pounding headache. They had a (M/C) colored mane, and a (C/C) colored coat to go along with it.
That pony was none other than (Y/N).
*Groans groggily* "Wh...wha..what happened last night? That storm was insane."
(Y/N) then proceeded to attempt to stand up straight on his two feet, or in this scenario his hind legs, followed by him falling down on his flank.
"Oof! Man, my head is spinning. I need wa...wait."
He then notices that instead of seeing his two feet, he's now seeing what appear to be hooves, (C/C) colored hooves to be exact.
"What the?! Am I dreaming right now, or am I dead? Did my powers already get me killed?"
(Y/N) was now wondering what has possibly happened: Did he die from the storm or from his powers overloading him, or did that huge storm transport him somewhere, either to save him or to punish him for killing his best friend. Either way, he then crawled towards a small stream which he noticed was close to the crater. Once he took a small drink of water, he also saw his reflection in the water, which also startled him when he saw that he was no longer human, but now what appeared to be a horse or something similar to be a horse, and was wondering why he also had a (C/C) colored coat. He also noticed that he had a horn on the top of his head as well, now discovering that he had become a unicorn.
"Wait....I'm a unicorn now? A (C/C) colored unicorn? What in the world is going on? What the hell happened?"
(Y/N) then proceeds to attempt to walk around on his new four hooves, stumbling around in the process but manages to get a hold of it pretty quickly. Now wanting to get out of the forest, he struts away from the scorched crater and sees a path leading towards the forest's exit. Once he steps outside the forest, the bright sun starts to hurt his eyes once it shines down on his face. When his vision starts to return to normal, he hears a small hum and buzzing sound. Looking towards his horn, he notices that his powers had transferred to this new world along with him.
"Oh no... You came along with me too? But, are there other conduits here with me too? What will these people think of me when they see that I have these powers? What would they think about seeing a talking horse in general?", (Y/N) said with some concern.
Meanwhile...
In the small town of Ponyville, there is a small group of friends walking together towards the Everfree Forest on request of Princess Celestia due to her sister Princess Luna telling her about the events that had transpired last night.
This group of friends had included six individual mares that had represented their respective elements of harmony, the names of these ponies were Twilight Sparkle, a purple unicorn with a dark purple mane and tail with some pink and light purple streaks along with them, and had a cutie mark with a pink spark with smaller white sparks surrounding it.
There is also another unicorn that was named Rarity, a pure white unicorn with a curly dark purple mane and tail with three blue diamonds for a cutie mark.
There were two pegesi along with them, and one of them had a concerned look on her face, that Pegasus was named Fluttershy, she had a cream yellow coat and a long pink mane and tail with three pink butterflies for a cutie mark.
The other pegasus had a determined look on her face, that was the fastest mare in Ponyville, Rainbow Dash, she had a cyan coat, and as her name suggests, she had a rainbow mane and tail along with a cutie mark showing a cloud emitting a rainbow lightning bolt.
The last two were considered to be earth ponies, and one was wearing a Stetson hat and the other was very hyperactive as she was bouncing alongside the other ponies. The one wearing the Stetson hat was named Applejack, she had an orange coat along with some freckles, she also had a blond mane and tail, she had three apples for her cutie mark.
The hyperactive pony was known as Pinkie Pie, she had a puffy and messy dark pink mane and tail, and had a light pink coat to go along with. She had two cyan balloons and a yellow balloon for a cutie mark.
"So, Twilight darling, what did the princess tell you in your letter?", said Rarity questioning her friend.
"Princess Celestia said that Princess Luna had seen some sort of strange thunderstorm, she said that it seemed very unnatural to be precise, over the Everfree Forest. There were lightning strikes striking around the forest and some bolts were apparently striking in an arch, as if it was coming out of the sky, which even I would say would be weird.", Twilight said.
"That is very weird, us weather ponies don't even mess around with the weather around the Everfree forest, and besides, we didn't even have a thunderstorm scheduled around that time.", Rainbow Dash added on.
"Still, this is rather strange for the weather to be acting like this. Hopefully, we don't have to resolve to using the elements again.", Twilight said.
"I hope we don't have to come across something scary.", Fluttershy said out of concern.
"Oh, maybe there was some kind of late-night party going on! Maybe the lightning was just for some kind of special effect for some kind of rave!", Pinkie said with a grin.
"I don't think that's the case, Pinkie. The Princesses have some concerns about what had happened last night, and possibly the storm might have caused something that maybe they can't control.", Twilight said to Pinkie.
The Mane 6 had then trotted onwards towards their destination, and little did they know that soon, they'll come across something that they have possibly never prepared for...
Meanwhile...
(Y/N), now realizing that he is now a unicorn and still lightheaded, had trotted out of the Everfree Forest and now stumbling along the path across a grassy field. His mind was still flooded with many questions, and regret from killing his best friend. The electricity buzzing around his horn had emitted sparks from time to time but, nothing too crazy had happened to his powers, not yet anyways.
"Man, what am I going to do? Did I really deserve this? It was an accident, that's all it was! It was just an accident!"
(Y/N) was just about to collapse from all the dizziness when, all of a sudden, he thought he had heard what sounded like hooves clopping along the trail ahead, and heard a feminine voice coming from where the trotting hooves had originated.
"Hey! Who's that?"
(Y/N) had looked up and saw six very colorful horses, and also thought he saw one of them flying. Before he could have said anything, he had passed out from exertion causing those said horses to react with much concern.
"Oh, my goodness! He's hurt!"
"He looks like he's covered in ashes! It's dreadful!
"I think his condition is much more important than his looks Rares."
"Come on, we need to take him back to Ponyville Girls!"
The rest of Mane 6 agreed with Twilight to help this stallion, and due to being much more experienced with magic and being that respective element, she had picked up (Y/N) with her magic and carried him over to Ponyville. They could have also sworn some kind of buzzing emitting from him when they traveled back to town.
'Maybe this stallion might know something about the thunderstorm last night.', Twilight thought.
(Y/N) had started to stir in his sleep, and felt like he was on something soft instead of many tiny pieces of gravel. He had awakened and discovered that he was in what appeared to be someone's house as well as a huge library. He also noticed that he still had hooves instead of his hands and feet, now confirming that this isn't some sort of crazy fever dream.
'Guess I'm not dreaming after all; this is either hell or my new powers are making see some crazy shit.', (Y/N) thought.
(Y/N) had shuffled out of the bed, and started to examine his current surroundings. The many bookshelves had held titles that he had definitely never heard of, as well as the many authors that had written said titles. He also noticed there was a desk to the side stacked with loads of paper, quills and ink; all neatly placed on the desk.
"Whoever lives here must be some kind of 'neat-freak' or something like that due to how overly organized everything here is.", (Y/N) said out loud.
"Oh hey! You're finally awake!", a small child-like voice said.
That voice had startled (Y/N) and caused him to accidentally fire off a white lightning bolt from his horn straight at the wall, startling the one who had emitted the voice. (Y/N) turned around quickly to see who had shouted at him to see a small lizard-like creature with purple and greenish-looking scales with green spines and eyes. He noticed the shocked expression on this kid's face, and felt terrified if the "threat" of bio-terrorists is still a thing in this world.
"WOAH! How'd you do that?!", the creature said with an amazed tone of voice.
"I-I-I-I-I do-don--I don't know! I don't know what's going on with me!", (Y/N) said with a terrified tone.
"I'd never seen magic like that before! Twilight might be interested in this, and calm down dude! I know that I'm a dragon, but I'm a baby dragon to be precise.", the baby dragon said.
"Y-you're a dragon?!", (Y/N) replied in a shocked manner.
"Yep, name's Spike. Ponyville's only local and coolest dragon around.", said Spike introducing himself to the Conduit.
'He's not going to turn me into the authorities here isn't he?!'
(Y/N) was screaming in his head, wondering what he should do and what was going on exactly; with both his current situation, and wondering how the public here would treat Conduits such as himself. Spike noticed his stressed out and terrified expression and tried to defuse and calm him down from whatever he was scared about.
"Hey, you alright dude?", Spike said with much concern.
"Y... you're not afraid of me?", (Y/N) said with a mixture of confusion and fear.
"Uh.... no? Why would I be afraid of somepony like you?", Spike replied with TONS of confusion.
'Somepony? Is that really a part of these people's vocabulary?', (Y/N) said in thought.
"Well.... where I come from people aren't really so keen on the kind of powers that I wield."
"Really? I think that would be pretty awesome if you ask me and, I don't think that I've ever seen magic like that before!"
"Magic?", (Y/N) said with another round of confusion.
"Yeah, you know? Magic. Anyways, I think Twilight might enjoy seeing magic like this."
Just as the baby dragon mentioned her, that said unicorn had just entered through the front door.
"Hey Spike, I'm back! Did our guest wake-"
Twilight had now noticed the ponified conduit now standing up on their four hooves but, they had an expression mixed of confusion, fear, and shock.
"Oh hi, your finally awake!"
"Uhhh, yeah I am.", (Y/N) replied, "Who are you, and where am I?"
"My name is Twilight Sparkle, and you're in the Golden Oak Library, as well as my home here in Ponyville."
'Twilight Sparkle? Did she really have to be named after stuff from that stupid book series? She's kind of cute though- snap of it (Y/N)! This is a friggin' horse or pony as they call themselves, for crying out loud!', (Y/N) said in thought.
Twilight had noticed that (Y/N) still had a scared expression on his face and thought that maybe something had traumatized him, possibly due to the storm.
'Maybe this stallion might know something about what happened last night. They were covered in soot when we found him by the forest.', Twilight thought.
"Is there something that we can do to calm you down?", Spike asked.
"I... I need to sit down... Just need to process all of this.", (Y/N) said.
"That's alright, take a seat right over here.", Twilight said with a slightly worried tone.
(Y/N) had taken a seat by one of the bookshelves and was still trying to comprehend everything that has been going on lately. First, he discovered that he was a conduit and accidently killed his best friend in the process. Then, possibly got transported to another world or still possibly thinks it's hell of some sort due to some kind of storm or his powers suddenly overwhelming him. Now, he's sitting in some kind of library with a talking purple unicorn and a tiny little dragon of some kind. Things were going swell alright.
"Here, got you some water.", Spike said giving the conduit a glass of water.
"Thanks...", (Y/N) said accepting the water into his two front hooves.
'How am I supposed to do this without thumbs?!', he said shouting in his head.
Twilight had noticed that (Y/N) was struggling to hold the glass in his hooves and wondered why he was holding it in his hooves instead of using magic due to him being a unicorn.
"You can use magic to hold your cup, you know?", Twilight said.
"I can use magic to hold this thing or something?", (Y/N) said with tons of confusion.
'He doesn't know how to use magic despite being a unicorn? Never heard of something like this before.', Twilight thought with a surprised expression on the outside.
"Oh! Speaking of magic, Twilight, this guy had shot some kind of lightning bolt out from his horn earlier!", Spike said all of a sudden.
(Y/N)'s heart had stopped for a second. His eyes widened, and as he dropped the glass of water, he backed up against the bookshelf behind him.
"Woah, you okay dude?"
"Spike, I think we should possibly let him calm down and let him get acquainted with what's been happening lately.", Twilight said.
'But a lightning bolt being shot out of his horn? That's possibly involved with the storm from last night. Once he calms down and opens up a little bit, I might ask him about the storm and these lightning bolts Spike claimed to see him shoot.', Twilight wondered.
"Can I step outside for a moment?", (Y/N) questioned.
"Sure, go on ahead. I outa show you around town anyway.", Twilight said.
As the two ponies stepped outside of the Golden Oak Library, they were greeted with a town filled with more talking ponies, some with and without horns on their heads, and even ones that can apparently fly. (Y/N) had now wondered what kind of place he had traveled to and, wondered what would happen to Conduits here, if there was any or heard of the term Conduit, in this strange bizarre new world.
