chapter 1/2 ; Bored as hecc
It was simple day in Canterlot High, Rarity and Rainbow Dash were waiting for Twilight to come meet them at the library. All three of them were designated a simple school project, and decided to all discuss it there. And if they wanted to, they could read and research information there while they waited for her. Seemed easy enough.
“So when do you suppose Twilight will come?” aked Rarity impatiently.
“She’ll be here! She wouldn’t want her grade down missing this, and besides, we’re at a library for heaven’s sake! Rainbow replied. She too, was a bit concerned, but didn’t let that show. “It’s only been 15 minutes.”
”If you say so, Dashie.”
Those minutes became an hour, and Twilight was nowhere in sight. She didn’t reply to their texts either, so after a while, Rainbow had decided to take a small catnap, while Rarity began to paint her nails. Although Rarity loved to give herself pedicures from time to time, this time she thought her gel sapphire-blue nails were best left alone.
As she looked around the library, she could see so much stillness around. Students either where looking at books that interested them, or working upon the computer. She frowned. The library was so subtle today.
Rarity looked over to Rainbow, who decided to take a nap while they waited. Although she probably wanted to be left alone, Rarity’s curiosity got the best of her, and she wanted to see if she could get away with painting her nails.
She started off by painting Rainbow’s nails a soft pink color, something casual and not that much, and she did this on her feet as well. But as a beauty gal like her, it was a pain to see Rainbow Dash, not look her absolute best in Rarity’s hands.
“I suppose a teensy weensy makeover won’t hurt..”
Rarity walked over to her bag, which she grabbed a small, but about the same size, bag out of it. She slowly walked over to Rainbow Dash, still sleeping heavy, she took this advantage. She continued on her nails by giving her a manicure, and then she began to apply stick pink lipstick, metallic-pink eyeshadow with a flat shader, a pencil-like black eyeliner, and black mascara to touch up her face a bit. Then she used a fluffed makeup brush to apply turquoise blue blush to her face.
Rarity took a step back, to look at her work. To her it looked pretty decent, but not good enough. Not even finished yet.
Rarity brought out some items from her bag, the first thing she got was a small piece of fabric. It had the words ‘Glamorous Girl’ outlined in little pearls. Ever so carefully, Rarity slowly sewed this on the front of Rainbow’s jacket. As well as adding some fur above on the collar of the jacket.
Rarity looked up at Rainbow, with a complexed and confused stare.
“Honestly Dashie,” She said with a whisper. “I’m surprised you’re still asleep.”
Rarity had brought out her outfit material, white spare high-heels that had diamond patterns replaced Dash’s own, and a white belt with diamonds scattered everywhere upon it was placed around her waist.
Then she finally added accessories.
Golden bracelets were placed on her wrists, as well as clip-on earrings, and after Rarity had styled her hair just like hers, she placed white sunglasses with lenses that reflect a rainbow-ish light.

And finally, the last piece to Rarity’s approval, the perfume. She grabbed a slightly large bottle the size of her hand, and held it over her hair and her clothes while she sprayed.
Soon after, Rarity began packing all of her stuff up so they could do actual work now, but as soon as she placed the very last thing in her bag, Rainbow had woken up.
Anxious, Rarity kicked her cosmetic-bag out of view under a computer desk. She slowly walked over to RD, and placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.
“Heeeey Dashie! How was your nap?”
Rainbow rubbed her eyes and stared at Rarity, who looked like she was sweating bullets, but Rainbow Dash didn’t honestly think much of what it was.
”Long.” She retorted. “I gotta get going to practice now.” She said as she packed her bag up and hunched it over her shoulder with effort.
Suddenly, footsteps frantically approached, and out popped Twilight.
“Hey guys! I’m so sorry I was gone for so long! I know I was supposed to be here by now, but I had to do a very urgent thing and it couldn’t wait until later! I’ll make it up to you guys if you want, I’ll do 75% of the work! Or maybe something else?! Or have you already FINISHED?! OR HAVE YOU GONE HALFWAY? I promise I’ll make it up to yo-”
Her frantic speaking was shushed by Rainbow dash who looked at Twilight and put her fingers to her lips as a sign to be quiet, and the others at the library were giving angered looks as well.
“Oh, sorry eveyone...”
Twilight then focused her attention on Rainbow dash, whom looked like a fashion model expert, and gaped as she took herself and her bag out the door to go to soccer practice.
Twilight turned her head back at Rarity, then a glimpse at Dashie again.
“So...uhm...Is there something that I missed the passing hour?” She walked over to Rarity as she confusingly tried to get the picture of her friend who looked like she decided to try a Rarity-impersonate on herself, and perfected it almost exactly.
Rarity simply looked at her, with a mixture of feelings, she took Twilight and herself out of the library and around the corner.
With herself sort-of-proud, Rarity exhaled greatly and smiled sheepishly.
“So I might’ve have done some things while you were gone and I was bored...”
Twilight raised an eyebrow. “ ‘Might’ve?’ ”
Rarity sighed once more.
“Ok I did do something and now that something is walking to soccer practice after I dazzled her up.”
Twilight gave a small frown. “Do you even know how she’ll take this?”
Rarity looked at Twilight nervously. “Hopefully not negative!”
