A boy is reincarnated in the magical land of Equestria as a dragon! What could happen?
Schwab is a young adult who had died via car accident. While in Heaven, he meets a spirit that claims to be from another world called Equestria where ponies rule, as well as other mythical creatures. She says she can reincarnate him as any creature he desires to be reborn in the magical land, and he chooses to be a dragon. (Cause everyone I know has made a alicorn OC. And also who doesn't like dragons?) So he is reborn, but just like Earth, he will have to face many challenges both mentally, and physically, but can friendship help him overcome those challenges?
There was bright light before him. He was driving home after a college party, and a bright light appeared before him... Then darkness...
"Here I fall... Peacefully through the neverending darkness... Where am I?" He asked as he began to question his surroundings, and his falling. "Mom? Brother? Sister? Cousins!? Where am I? Help!!" He pleaded at the darkness wishing for something to appear. "Where am I!?" He pleaded again. He had fully become aware of the place in which he falls... Pleading for help, begging the darkness... But nobody came... "I don't want this!? I don't wish to die!!" "But your already dead..." Their was a voice, feminine, peaceful, and soothing to his soul. He paused... "H-hello? Please help me!" There was a pause, and he began to feel like it was just his mind playing tricks on him. "Heaven... Your in Heaven, or at least this world's heaven... " Said the voice. "Heaven? So I died?" He asked still falling... "Yes... You died crashing into another." Said the voice. "'Crashing into another'? A car crash?" "It would appear so." He thought for a bit. Where was she? And why was he falling? Curious, and scared he asked those questions. "Why am I falling?" He asked first. "I don't know... Let me see if I can change that." She said. Soon he felt water on his back, and solid ground, it was like laying in a puddle. The darkness gave way to a peaceful twilight sky. He was in a pool, but it was shallow like a puddle. A vast puddle scretching beyond the land. In the distance there were mountains. Jagged mountains reaching for the sky, like spikes. Close to him, but pretty distant were little islands that look like a singular mountains, they were big, but it seemed peaceful. The sky was twilight, and never changing. It was completely soothing, he felt like sleeping.
"Where are you?" He said slowing getting up, he felt lightheaded, and his body was aching. "Oh, I guess I should introduce myself..." Said the voice. Slowing a bright light floated upwards coming out of the pool, it wasn't even deep, but the light flew upwards towards him from below it's surface. "My name is Celestia." Said the light. Then in a flash it formed in to a pony of sorts with folded wings, and a Unicorn horn. Confusion took his mind. "What?" "I'm an Alicorn, from a magical land known as Equestria. Nice to meet you Schwab." Celestia said. "Wait? How do you know me?" He said. Celestia smiled, and explained. "Long ago I received a message, a prophecy of sorts that from an unknown land a being would be dead, and that I would be transported to a world to meet this being of the Unknown." She said. "I'm still confused... What does me dying have to do with a Alicorn?" He said. Celestia responded with a soothing voice that made his mind calmer... "I don't know either, but it says that this being would either choose to live, and take the form of one of the many sentient creatures of Equestria, or stay and wait for eternity. You are that being Schwab, it's why I'm here, well not in a literal sense... My body is still back where I'm from, it seems like everything that happens here passes in an instant in both our worlds." Said Celestia. "So right now in this world, time is unmatched? So your telling me that in this world everything passes in an instant? So your body is still doing whatever, and my body is still getting crushed!?" He said. "Yes." Replied Celestia. "So I choose whether to stay here, or be reincarnated?" "Yes." Schwab thought for a moment. Another chance at life? What of Mom, my siblings, and my cousins? Should I ask her? "Celestia... W-what of my family?" Celestia was shocked by his question, but happy for him. He had just died, and his only real concern is his family... "I don't know. I'm sorry." She said. He was sad, and tears flowed down his cheeks. "If I go with you, what would happen?" He said still crying. "You live again, in my world as one of the sentient races." She said. "What kind of sentient races?" "Earth Pony, Unicorn, Pegasus, Alicorn, Dragon, Griffen---" she was cut off. "Dragon, no questions asked." He said. Celestia was taken aback. "Your sure? What about the others?" "Dragons were always my favorite mythical creatures, and I wish to become one." He said. But then some thoughts came into his mind. "Celestia a few more questions if you will? "Sure." "If I go, will I forget my past?" "That is for you to decide. This is now your own path." "Thank you. And what of this place? I kinda like the shallow pools, jagged mountains, and islands, and the twilight sky, it is peaceful." Celestia looked around. It was peaceful calming to my mind, and soothing for the soul, like a meditation realm. "Schwab, you may keep this place as your own. I may be able to give you some power to transport yourself here." "How is that possible?" "I'm a Alicorn I have incredible magic abilities!" "Oh. So you can give me a power to transport myself here whenever I wish?" "Mhmm." "And time is unmatched, so if I do this I can stay in here for hours on end, and everything passes in an instant outside, I can relax, and go back and nothing would change outside." Schwab was eager to go. He, and Celestia got to know each other better, and he had decided to have the power to come back the world they were on, for relaxation, and also to not forget his past.
Soon it was time for his rebirth in Equestria... "I'm ready Princess Celestia. I may be reborn as a dragon of my own image, and walk the path to my new life in your world." "As you wish. But I think they may be more to your new life, than just rebirth... " "What do you mean?" "I'm unsure, maybe we will both learn together!"
And with that darkness filled his vision, A new chance to be reborn. All's right with the world...
Schwab woke up, and looked around he was in a garden of sorts... And it was beautiful! Flowers of all kinds filled the place, the smell so nice, and the sky was a wonderful blue, with the sun beaming down it's gorgeous light. After taking in all of the wonderful scenery, he looked down at his body, and felt his features. He was dragon, a bit taller than most, but he didn't mind. He had a long body, almost serpentine in appearance, but short enough to considered normal... He had massive feathered wings that were folded on his back, a study tail that ended with the triangle shape, hands that each had one thumb, and two clawed-fingers, as well as arm guard armor on his forearms, and shoulder armor, it was same with his legs, but nothing on his chest... His chest had a skinny-muscular fitting well with his body, and a long neck. His head had a flat, but sturdy appearance with long ears, and facial hair like a goat, and two massive horns that scretched wide, and curved outward at the tips. His horns glowed a beautiful white-blue color, and radiated a small golden glow. He supposed that since he was dragon, and he was dead earlier that his horns appearance were meant to be his halo. He also concluded that it's also why he had feathered wings, like an angel... His wings were white, and seemed to go into a blue color at the ends, and his body was a turquoise color, and his belly was a more tan, while his arm guards, and leg armor were golden.
"So your awake?" Asked a familiar voice. "Huh? Oh, hi Celestia... Is this your garden? It's beautiful." "Thank you." Schwab looked around a notice a big building, in the shape of a castle. "Oh that's right... Your a princess." He said. "Indeed I am." Just then a note appeared beside her. She glowed her horn, to open it, and began reading. She signed as she concluded. Schwab took notice. "Something wrong?" He asked. "It's nothing. I have a student named Twilight Sparkle, who seems to be reading a story from long ago." "Oh..." "I'll write her a letter back. Come with me." She said. Celestia told a guard to send her student a note, and while he did what he was told he looked at Schwab with fear. As they walked, with Celestia showing Schwab around, he noticed a lot of ponies were looking at him with mistrust. "Um... Princess Celestia? Why are these ponies afraid of me?" "Oh I apologize... It's just that the dragons in Equestria are mean, and are feared, I'll make sure to let them know your nice." She said. Schwab smiled. Soon they got to a throne room, and it was peaceful. Celestia sat on her throne, and Schwab just stood by. He looked around and noticed the murals on the wall, and looked at them with awe, and curiosity. He noticed one in particular with a dark Alicorn on it, being what seemed to him, as being imprisoned in the moon. "Dang, that's rough." He said. Just then the double doors of the throne room opened, and a purple unicorn walked through, with a little dragon at her side. Schwab looked at her, and noticed somethings. She was confident, that was his first sight. 'i wonder if this is her student?' he wondered. "Princess Celestia, I will carry out my royal duty of heading to Ponyville, to make sure everything is ready for the Summer Sun Celebration!" She said. "Oh yeah it's her I know it!" Said Schwab aloud. Twilight Sparkle turned her head to his direction, and got scared. "Uh... Princess Celestia...? Why is there a dragon here...?" She said fearfully. The little dragon beside her rolled his eyes, and walked up to him. "Hello!" He said. "My name is Spike! What's yours?" "Um... Schwab. My name is Schwab. Nice to meet you Spike." The two dragons greeted each other with quick firm handshakes, before Spike went back to Twilight. Celestia spoke. "Twilight, don't worry he's nice, his name is Schwab, and I brought him here. He's new to Equestria..." Twilight gulped, and nodded her head. She slowly approached Schwab. "H-hi...?" "Hello, Twilight Sparkle. It's nice to meet you!" "Hehe... Nice to meet you to" Celestia came up with a thought. 'Twilight needs to go to Ponyville, and I want her to make friends. I'll get Spike to remind her of that, but I think I can let Schwab go also. He's new to this new life here in Equestria, and I want him to make friends to get familiar with others here...' she thought. "Twilight!" She said getting her student's attention. "Yes, Princess Celestia?" Said Twilight. "I want you to take Schwab here, with you so he can get familiar to this land." Explained Celestia. "Uh... Are your sure you highness?" Asked Twilight. "Yes." Twilight looked at Schwab, who by this time seemed to get a look on his face, but it was quick to go unnoticed, and turned to look at the murals. But Twilight was smart, extremely smart, and she caught it. "As you wish Celestia, I'll do my best!" "I know you will."
Twilight, Spike, and Schwab walked out of the palace. Soon they got to a carriage, to which Twilight, and Spike got on. Schwab stayed behind, and thought this would be a good time to test flight. Two pegasus guards appeared, and hooked themselves to the carriage, and began to fly to Ponyville. Schwab slowly extended his wings, and breathed gently, and deeply, in and out. With a first few beats, he was in the air, and flying. He felt proud of himself, at his first accomplishment in his new life, as he began to fly alongside the carriage.
"It is peaceful up here above ground." He said to himself. But soon he looked to the sun, and felt sad. He was here in a different world away from his parents, and siblings. Friends... It hurt him to think about his life before, he and his siblings did everything together, they were happy, he had friends who were nice to him, everytime he had a tough time at school, either with lessons, or bullies, his friends always had his back. "Mom..." He choked out that last part. She was always there for him, if his friends were not there, or his siblings were not there, she was there to comfort, and guide him. He felt tears... And in the wind they dried.
Twilight who was talking with Spike on the carriage about what to do at Ponyville until she heard a sharp, yet soft breath. She looked at Schwab, staring at him with half awe, as he beat his magnificent wings, and half discomfort as she saw his face. 'He's crying? About what?' she thought.
Schwab didn't notice her staring as his vision was slowly getting blurry. Twilight was still wondering about what he was crying about, until he muttered a single word, that discomfort her. "Mom?" She turned around, her eyes wide a little, and she went back to listening to Spike. "Why did he say 'mom'?" She said aloud. "Huh?" Said Spike.
They were reaching Ponyville, and Spike resumed his reading, telling Twilight what they would do, and what she should do. They landed in the center of town, and Twilight thanked the two guards. Schwab was a couple feet away, wiping his tears. Twilight looked at his direction one last time before a pink pony walked up to her, and Spike.
One last thought remained in her mind, before she took notice of the pink pony. "What is he about? What was he crying about? What did he mean by 'mom'?"
The pink pony just stared at the three. "Come on Twilight, just try." Said Spike. Twilight was nervous but she managed to make a small response. "Uh... Hello?" The pink pony gasped, and sped away from them, but accidentally bumped into Schwab in the process. She stared at him with awe, and fear before she screamed, and ran away. 'Great...' Thought Schwab.
"Well that was interesting, all right." Said Twilight. Spike just sighed, and Schwab followed them without saying anything. He was still stuck in his thoughts, and tried to look around the place, trying to think of something else besides family. Ponies that they walked by either scurried away, or stared in awe at the large dragon, before resuming their daily activities as soon as the three walked passed.
Soon they got on a dirt road that led to an apple farm. "Summer Sun Celebration's Official Overseer's Checklist. Number 1: Banquet Preparations! Sweet Apple Acres!" Said Spike reading a list of things they needed to do. They walked through a gate only to hear a "Yee haw" coming from a running orange pony wearing a cowgirl hat. She ran to a tree filled with apples, and kicked it, allowing the apples to fall into 5 baskets. She seemed to feel accomplished at the task she did. "A confident one." Said Schwab looking at her. Twilight gave a annoyed sigh. "Let's just get this over with..." The two dragons looked at each other, and shrugged following her, to the orange pony.
They walked up to her, and Twilight introduced herself. "Hello. My name is Twilight Sparkle." She said gracefully, not expecting to get her hoof shaken so quickly by the orange pony greeting her back. "Well howdy do, Ms. Twilight! A pleasure making your acquaintance! I'm Applejack, we here at Sweet Apple Acres sure do love making new friends!" She said still shaking Twilight. "Friends?" Actually I uh..." She suddenly stopped being shaken, but her hoof was still going up, and down while Applejack asked: "What can I do ya for?" Spike grabbed Twilight's hoof to make it stop, and Schwab was shocked by how much force their was in a single handshake. Twilight glared at the two, while they silently laughed. She cleared her throat. "Actually I'm in charge of the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration, and your in charge of the food?"
"We sure as sugar are! Care for a sample some?" Replied Applejack. "As long as it doesn't take too long." Said Twilight a little nervous.
Applejack raced to a triangular instrument, to which she ringed, calling everyone from the farm. A table was set up, and Applejack introduced the whole family. During this a whole bunch of food, and put upon the table, and Schwab was shocked. 'Is is Thanksgiving? Wait... So they have that here in Equestria?' thought Schwab staring in complete shock. Soon Applejack introduced the last three members. "Big Macintosh, Apple Bloom, and... Granny Smith." Schwab took in their features. 'So the biggest guy is Big Mac? Huh, reminds me of McDonald's, Apple Bloom, a child, definitely adorable, and Granny Smith reminds me of my grandparents when we had family get togethers in my world.' He thought.
Twilight had taken to much. "I'm sorry but we have to go!" Just then a sweet voice filled the place. "Your not going to stay for brunch?" It was Apple Bloom who had doggy eyes. "I'm sorry, but I have a lot to do today." Said Twilight. The whole Apple family did a big "Aww." In sadness. Schwab couldn't resist the doggy eyes, and Twilight felt bad. "Fine."
During brunch several ponies took notice of Schwab, and I'm his grand stature. This time there was no fear. Simply awe, and some respect was in their eyes. Schwab was weirded out. "May I help y'all?" He asked. Applejack responded first. "It's just that, we've never seen a dragon such as yourself. Your stature is amazing! We never knew dragons could possess feathered wings like a bird, or pegasus. Then again they are rare."
Schwab took in the knowledge to his wings. 'maybe all the dragons here have batlike wings, and I only have feathers because of my death?' he thought sadly. "Well... I am a unique kind of dragon." He said hoping it would satisfy their curiosity. "Cool!" Said Apple Bloom.
Soon after they left, and Schwab was happy that he actually had a conversation with other ponies even if it was small. He had never really had a conversation with Twilight besides their quick meeting at Cantorlot, and he, and Spike just did gestures when one other took notice of something, and told the other about it through those gestures.
They arrived back in town. "Foods all taken care of. Next is Weather." Said Spike going back over the list. Schwab just nodded, and Twilight groaned. "I ate to much pie." She said.
"Well, you could have just stopped when you got full enough." Said Schwab reasonably. "I didn't want to be rude!"
"Fair point."
Spike looked at them, then at the sky. "Mm. There's supposed to be a Pegasus named Rainbow Dash clearing the clouds." He said. Twilight looked to the sky. "Well she's not doing a great job is she?" Schwab was unlucky in this as soon a dash of rainbow crashed into both him, and Twilight, sending even his massive body into a mud puddle nearby. He groaned in pain. "Ouch..." Twilight looked annoyed, and a blue pegasus, with a rainbow mane, and tail laid on top of them. She looked around and below her noticing, she was on top of Twilight, and Schwab. All three of them covered in mud. She laughed. "Uh... Excuse me?" She giggled some more. "Here let me help you!" She flew away. Twilight laid on top of Schwab, and slid off of him, before Rainbow Dash came back with a dark cloud, and jumped on it releasing all the water. Schwab was completely free of mud, and only had water running down his scales, it felt good, like a shower. Twilight on the other hand was even more annoyed. Rainbow Dash giggled again. "Oops! I guess I over did it, hang on!" She exclaimed before circling the two in a rainbow colored tornado drying them up. Schwab was annoyed as well, but not as annoyed as Twilight. In fact his own thoughts were: 'She's a Tomboy.'
Twilight had her mane, and tail all puffed up in which Schwab, Rainbow Dash, and Spike all laughed. "Let me guess. Your Rainbow Dash?" Said Twilight. Rainbow Dash caught on, and proclaimed herself. "The one, and only! Why you heard of me?" She said flying up to Twilight. "I heard your supposed to be keeping the sky cleared." She sighed. "I'm Twilight Sparkle. The Princess sent me here to check on the weather." Rainbow Dash laid on top of a cloud lazily saying: "Yeah yeah, the weather I'll have that done in a jiffy, as soon as I'm down practicing." Twilight was confused. "Practicing for what?" She said. Rainbow got excited as she told them. "The Wonderbolts! Their going to perform at the Summer Sun Celebration tomorrow, and I'm going to show them my stuff!"
"The Wonderbolts? The most talented fliers in all of Equestria?"
"That's them."
Twilight scoffed. "Please, they'll never let a Pegasus who can't clear the sky for one measly day join them." Rainbow Dash took notice in change of attitude. "Hey! I can clear this sky in ten seconds flat!"
"Prove it."
Rainbow Dash got a look on her face, as she sped across the sky clearing every single cloud until there was non left. "See? Ten seconds flat!"
Twilight, and Spike were shocked, and Schwab just looked at the clear sky not really paying attention to the three. He stared at the wonderful blue sky, and the sun. The sun was the object of majesty in his eyes. A massive ball of flame, that could shallow the earth if it could. The first one here, the one that gave us life, and the one to end us in due time in 5 billion years when it turns into a red giant. Truly an object that fears nothing, and has no equal.
He saw Rainbow Dash zoom past his vision, and he looked around. He saw Spike, and Twilight walking to another building, and he followed suit.
There they met Rarity, who was a fashion designer with extremely good taste. Twilight approached, followed by the two dragons. "Um. Excuse me?" Rarity didn't look at her at first still deciding over ribbons. Soon she looked at them, and stared in complete horrific shock. "Oh my stars, Darlings! What happened to your coiffure?" She exclaimed. Twilight was confused at first until she caught on. "Oh, you mean my mane? It's a long story. I'm just here to check up on the decorations, and then I'll be out of your hair." Rarity was still shocked. "My hair? What about your hair?" She said pushing Twilight behind some curtains, with a room for dressing behind them.
Schwab, and Spike followed with Schwab noticing Spike having hearts in his eyes. "Ohh. Someone has a crush." He said. Spike stuttered. "Huh?" Rarity, and Twilight spoke for a while about Cantorlot, and were preparing to leave the other be. Spike was still hypnotized by Rarity's beauty, which Schwab couldn't lie was beautiful. 'Wait... Is it bad if I find a pony attractive? I mean they are sentient and I'm a dragon now so... I guess it doesn't matter.' he thought.
They left, and Schwab asked Spike what was next. "Music." He said. The three of them began to hear beautiful singing. They peaked around a bush a noticed a cute yellow pegasus singing with the birds. "Snow White?" Said Schwab aloud. Spike, and Twilight looked at him. "Huh?" They both said.
"What? Oh it's nothing, it's just a Mo- Book I read a long time ago!" He said. 'do they have movies here?' He thought.
Twilight left the two, to greet Fluttershy. "Hello?" She said. The birds dispersed, and Fluttershy looked at Twilight with fear hinted on her eyes. "I was just coming to check on the music, and it sounded wonderful!" Fluttershy landed, and didn't say anything, looked away, and back at Twilight. Awkward silence came into play. "Uh... My names Twilight.... What's your name?" Said Twilight. Fluttershy looked away. "Um... My name is Fluttershy." She said in a low whisper.
"I'm sorry what was that?"
"Um my name is 'mumbles'."
"Didn't quite catch that." Said Twilight trying to understand her. Fluttershy was whimpered. Twilight bid farewell, Schwab, and Spike coming up to her. Fluttershy noticed Schwab, and sunk in fear, then noticed Spike.
"A baby dragon!!" She exclaimed excitedly. She flew over Twilight sending her flying, and stood where Spike was. "I've never seen a baby dragon before. He's so cute!"
"Well, well, well." Said Spike proud to get attention.
"Wow he talks! I didn't know dragons could talk, that's just so incredibly wonderful!"
Twilight grabbed Spike with her magic, and walked away, Fluttershy following them to adore Spike. Schwab was just curious on how this even happened. He was walking behind all the others eventually they reached a library, carved into a tree.
"Hmmm. That's some amazing craftsmen ship, to build a library in a tree." He said.
He noticed that Twilight was starting to get rid of Fluttershy and felt kinda bad for it. Soon Twilight, and Spike went inside, and Schwab followed suit. "Excuse me, Fluttershy... Please? I'm so sorry for getting in your personal space." He said getting inside. "Your excused." She said. "Thank you sweetie." He said before closing the door.
One's inside it was dark, and he couldn't see anything beside Twilight talking to Spike. "I need to let Celestia know Nightmare Moon is coming and I can't with a bunch of ponies trying to make friends all the time! Now where's the light?" After she said that, the lights came on, and a whole bunch of party items appeared. Kazoo sounded, and Schwab got annoyed real quick. He groaned but nopony noticed. The pink pony from earlier appeared, and greeted them talking rapidly, Twilight seemed to be half paying attention, and half not. The more Pinkie Pie talked, the faster it seems to be getting, and soon Schwab couldn't handle it.
For the first time he roared. "Quiet! Please!"
Every pony went silent, and feared kicked in. "Thank you... And sorry for yelling...." He said once it got reasonable. Twilight turned around, with a red face, and she seems to get caught in fire. Spike went to a bottle. "Hot sauce." Pinkie Pie took the bottle, and poured its contents on a cupcake shocking everyone. "What? This is good."
Soon the party stopped, and everypony left. Leaving Schwab, Twilight, in the library alone. Twilight groaned and looked at the clock. Schwab was beside her seemingly asleep. Spike busted in. "Come on guys! Pinkie Pie, is playing Pin the Tail on the Pony!" Schwab opened his eyes, and looked around confused. "No!" Said Twilight.
"Come on, it's the Eve of the Summer Sun Celebration. We all have to stay up, or we'll miss the Sun rise!" "No! Because everypony here is crazy!" Said Twilight.
"Lighten up Twilight, after all it's just a party..." He said leaving. Twilight mumbled, and Schwab got upset. He sat up, and looked at her. "If you have something to say to him, just say it!" He said.
"No! Here I thought I would learn more about the Elements of Harmony, and I couldn't because of all their friend making!" She retorted.
"I don't know what your talking about, but ok." Said Schwab. Twilight looked out the window. "Legend says on the night of the 1000th year the stars will aid with her escape. I hope the Princess was right... I hope it is just a old ponies tale." She said.
Spike came through again. "Come on guys, it's starting!"
They all gathered in a decor building, waiting for Princess Celestia to appear. Pinkie Pie greeted Twilight again... Schwab was perched on top a piller ponies looking up at him confused. He looked outside to the moon. He saw a silhouette of a mare on it, four stars seems to collide with it, and the mare disappeared. Schwab got worried, he looked down at Twilight who was worried also. The Mayor appeared, and told the crowd to be prepared to witness the magic of the sunrise, while talking wonderfully about Celestia. Once she gave the gesture to open the curtains above her, the whole crowd was shocked, and worry began to spread.
Celestia was gone... Schwab, and Twilight spoke in unison. "This can't be good..."
A mist appeared above them all... It was dark, but made of small sparkles, like space... It would have been pretty to look at if it wasn't owned by an ancient evil.
Nightmare Moon, the Mare in the Moon appeared before them, materializing from the mist. "Oh, my beloved subjects, it's been so long since I've seen your sun-loving faces!" She said with a hiss at the end. Rainbow Dash was angry, and she demanded where Celestia was. "What have you done with our Princess!?" Before she could charge Applejack but her tail keeping her in place. "Oh, am I not royalty enough for you? Does my crown no longer matter now, since I've been imprisoned for 1,000 years!? Did you not see the signs, don't you know who I am!?"
Twilight spoke up. "I do! Your the Mare in the Moon, Nightmare Moon!" Everypony gasped. "Finally some pony who remembers me... Just know this! The Night shall last forever!" Nightmare Moon laughed wickedly, her mane, and tail swirling like a tornado, and lightning cackled through it.
"I like to see that happen..." Said a low growling voice. Schwab opened his wings, and gently flew above the middle of the crowd. All the ponies, looked even more scared. An Alicorn, and a Dragon fight!? Nightmare Moon stopped laughing, and stared into his eyes. "Well well, the Prophecy was true after all..." Schwab was confused, until he remembered something Celestia said before he was reincarnated in Equestria.
"Long ago, I received a message, a prophecy of sorts..."
Schwab stared at her, scared, and confused by how she knew of him. "What do you know?" Nightmare Moon giggled before explaining. "A being from another world shall die, and be reborn as anything they so desire. They live between a place, and no place. Belonging, and not owned. Power, and no power. Trapped between life, and death. They are you... You are that being... You are Schwab, the Dragon of Earth!"
Everypony stood still, and looked at the dragon, confused, and scared of him. It was weird... Were they afraid of Nightmare Moon more? Or him? It was a scary thought...
But an anger got to him... He didn't like her one bit... Twilight looked at him. "Your from another world!? How is that possible!?" He didn't answer, torn between the thoughts of how horrified they all were, and the thoughts of his past life.
The mayor regained her composure, and ordered the guards to seize Nightmare Moon. "Stay back you fools!" She howled blasted them away with her magic. Schwab suddenly began to build up... He opened his maw wide. So wide it felt like it was about to split. Power surged through his throat as he blasted a blue flame encased by a swirling black of corrosive breath. Nightmare saw the attack, and countered it. She laughed before materializing into the mist from before, and floated away. The neglected attack hit Schwab back in the mouth burning him internally. He roared in pain... He blacked out, Twilight ran to him to catch him before he hit the ground, but at the last second they touched, and Twilight found herself somewhere unrecognizable...
At first she touched him before seeing things. Memories? She saw her self in these images, she knew them as her memories, before the images changed to a bipedal creature. She saw these images, and was confused. These weren't her memories... 'Are they Schwab's memories...? So he is from another world...' she thought. Just then her vision became a first person perspective, she was in a machine of sorts, when a bright light, and a loud horn appeared before her. She felt pain until she blinked, and opened her eyes in a world of solitude...
The sky was twilight, and never changing, jagged mountains appeared over the horizon, close by but distant were smaller jagged mountains, that were like islands. She looked down and notice she was in a pool, she stood above it like a puddle, but when she looked into it, it seemed to be deep. Her reflection was present, and it was so detailed, as if she was looking into the real image of herself, and she was the reflection. She looked above her at the sky, and saw the moon, it seemed smaller in the sky, but it glowed beautifully, and turned around to see the sun, it was behind two massive horns that stretched over the horizon, she recognized them as Schwab's horns. The sun was just below them. There it sat in place just about to completely disappear behind the land.
"Where am I?" She asked. Schwab appeared from the below the pool before her. "Your in my heaven... This is where I came to after my death, where I first met Celestia, and where I was reincarnated."
Twilight sunk down. "Are we dead?" She said feeling teary eyed.
"No... We are alive, I just transported my mind here. I was scared, and I projected my conscience here before completely blacking out. You tried to catch me before I hit the ground while I was mid transporting my mind, you just got caught up in it."
Twilight still had questions... "What about Equestria?"
"Don't worry nothing's happening there... Everything that happens here happens in an instant out there, so as we talk, or still holding me, and I'm still blacked out."
Twilight was starting to understand, she was smart, but sometimes things didn't make a lot of sense. "So time is unmatched here?" She asked.
"Yes." Said Schwab.
"So... Nightmare Moon was right... Your are from another world..." She said softly.
Schwab felt sad. "Yes." His voice cracked. "I was human, that's my original species before I came here, met Celestia, and reincarnated myself."
Twilight looked at him, with uncertainty at the mention of Celestia. "How did Celestia get here?" Schwab looked at her, and thought or a moment. "I don't know... She said that when I died, she got transported here the same way we were, and she met me. Might be part of my so-called prophecy." He said with thoughtfulness.
Twilight nodded. "So can we go back?"
"Yes we can Twilight. I just have to cut off my mind from this realm, and back to Equestria we go! We can go when your ready..." He said.
Twilight nodded, and was about to speak when she looked around the heaven again. So peaceful, so quiet, and was soothing to her mind and soul. She liked it.
"Schwab...? I'm ready." She finally said.
He nodded his head. "And so it shall be..."
Moments later they were back. Schwab got up, and and he and Twilight ran out, with Spike following them. They were going to Library. Rainbow Dash noticed them.
"Where are they going?" She said, soon she began chased after three... 4 others following behind...
The three rushed towards the library. Once inside Spike was quickly tired, and fell unconscious. Twilight was about to pick him up, when Schwab nudged her aside, and picked him up over his shoulder like a infant. Schwab gently walked towards his make shift bed, and sat him down gently, he flinched when Spike suddenly awoke.
"We got to stop Nightmare!" He cried quickly going back to sleep. Twilight walked over with a blanket, and wrapped it over him. "Get some rest Spike, you've been up all night. You are a baby dragon after all."
Schwab, and Twilight went into the next room. "So what do we do?" Asked Schwab before suddenly seeing a book fly over his vision. Schwab looked over and saw Twilight frantically going through books trying to find information on the Elements of Harmony.
"Elements, Elements, Elements! Gah! How am I supposed to stop Nightmare Moon without the Elements of Harmony!?
Twilight was thrown off guard, when a certain Rainbow maned pegasus flew up to her face. "And just what are the Elements of Harmony!? And how did you know about Nightmare Moon huh!? Are you a Spy!?" Rainbow Dash was suddenly pulled back by Applejack, and Schwab went over to Twilight to calm her down a little. "Twilight, just take a deep breath, and we'll find out how to defeat her."
"Y-your right, Schwab!" She said taking breaths.
Applejack managed to calm Rainbow down a little. "Simmer down, Sally. She ain't no spy. But you do know something do you Twilight." She said. Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie showed up behind her, and the 5 ponies stood before Twilight, and Schwab.
Twilight sighed. "I read about Nightmare Moon, and that these mystical items called the Elements of Harmony are the only things that can stop her. But... I don't even know what they are, where they are, I don't even know what they do!"
Pinkie Pie called out. "The Elements of Harmony: A Reference Guide." She said looking at a bookshelf. Twilight rammed over, and knocked her away. "Where did you find that?"
"It was under E!!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed hopping away happily. "Ok." Said Twilight pulling out the book Pinkie found.
"The 6 Elements of Harmony, but only 5 are known; Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty, and Loyalty. The 6th is a complete mystery, but it is said that when all 5 are present the 6th shall reveal itself."
Schwab listened in, but notice something dark move in the corner of his eye. He looked over, And saw it vanish. He knew that Nightmare Moon was probably watching them. But kept silent as to not scare the others.
"The last known location of the Elements was in the Castle of the Two Sisters which lies in what is now the E-Everfree Forest!?"
The seven journeyed to the edge of town, to the entrance of the forest. "Well this is scary..." Said Schwab nervously. Twilight looked on just as nervously as Schwab. She looked at the others. "Look. Id rather do this alone."
"No way! We ain't letting no friend of ours go in there alone! We're sticking to you like caramel on a candy apple." Said Applejack leading the others into the woods. Pinkie Pie jolted up however. "Especially if there's candy apples in there!"
Schwab, and Twilight looked at her. "What? Thanks things are good." She said before walking into eh forest after the others.
Schwab giggled a little bit. With Pinkie Pie with them, they could get through the forest more easily, then being outright scared. "Hehe... She does have a point however, those things are good." He said opening his wings, and gently flew in there. Twilight groaned before following after him, and the others.
"So... You've never been in here before?" Asked Twilight.
"Oh, heavens no! Just look at this place! It's dreadful!" Cried Rarity.
"And it ain't natural either..." Said Applejack.
"What's that's supposed to mean?"
"Folks say it ain't like the rest of Equestria."
Schwab stepped in the conversation. "It means the Forest is haunted by supernatural presences, like witches, and stuff."
"So? We're being haunted!?" Said Rarity. "Basically yes. Other than that-" he was cut off by a looming Rainbow Dash.
"Nopony knows. Cause anypony who has ever come in."
"Rainbow quit it!" Said Applejack firmly, Rainbow completely ignoring her.
"Had never come out!!!" She screamed, jumpscaring Fluttershy, Pinkie, and Rarity.
Just then the side of the mountain they are on started to crack, and broke off in a landslide. Dark mist coming out from under. Schwab, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash we're uneffected by the landslide, as they flew up in the sky to avoid it. The others? Not so lucky.
"Guys, quick!!" Cried Rainbow Dash diving down the cliff, catching Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy managed to save Rarity. Applejack, grabbed a root, and held onto it. Twilight continued sliding down, only stopping when she caught the edge of the cliff. Applejack let go of the branch, and shuffled her way down to Twilight to grab her hooves.
"I got you!"
"Oh, Applejack help me!"
Applejack tried to pull her up, but was unsuccessful. She looked to the sky hoping for something to workout. She noticed Schwab diving down below the cliff, and signed a claw to drop Twilight so he could catch her.
"Let go." She said. Twilight looked at her madly. "Are you crazy!?"
"No I ain't, what I'm telling you is the honest truth." She said. Twilight looking at her, growing her pupils with anxiety, u til she let go. She screamed until she was caught. She looked up, and saw Schwab holding her in place. She sighed in relief, noticing Applejack hopping her way down safely.
Schwab glided down to the ground, and dropped Twilight off. Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy doing the same to Pinkie Pie, and Rarity.
"So, onward we go!" Said Schwab.
They continued their journey, until a Manticore appeared before them. It roared, and growled with malicious intent. Schwab laughed nervously. "Hehe. I'm not fighting that thing!" He said changing tone form nervous laughter, to down right seriousness. Twilight looked at him. "Really? You can try to fight an evil alicorn mare! But not a Manticore?"
"That's different!! She looked like ya'll, and not a horrifying beast!"
The Manticore roared again and attacked. Rarity, Rainbow, and Applejack tried their best to subdue the beast but were futile in doing so. Twilight was starting to charge at the beast. While Schwab, and Pinkie just watched from the sidelines. "I'm not fighting that thing, are you?" Asked Schwab.
Pinkie shook her head and replied; "No of course not!"
Fluttershy intervened however. "Wait!"
The fight stopped mid way. Fluttershy walked up towards the beast. It roared until Fluttershy nuzzled it shocking everyone. The Manticore looked at her, and then it's paw, and showed it to her. It had a large thorn stabbed into it. "Aww, you just have a thorn."
Fluttershy but the edge, and pulled it out. The Manticore roared in pain until it hugged Fluttershy, and licking her.
"Aww, your just a big little kitty."
"Little?" Asked both Rainbow, and Schwab.
The group continued to move. "How did you know about the thorn?" Asked Twilight.
"I didn't, but we all just need a little kindness."
"Ugh! I can't stand to see this forest! It's too gloomy." Exclaimed Rarity. The soon walked into a tree filled environment blocking out the moonlight. "I didn't mean that literally." She said. Twilight grew annoyed. Again! Or at least that was Schwab's thought. "That castle could be right infront of us, and we wouldn't even know it!"
The trees appeared before them with scary faces. And they all screamed. Schwab saw one right aside of him, and punched the crap out of it. "Ow!" He said grabbing his knuckles.
"Punching wood hurts more than I'd imagine!"
Pinkie laughed at their faces. "Pinkie! What are you doing? run!" Screamed Twilight. 'Like the trees, are actually going anywhere.' thought Schwab.
Pinkie Pie laughed, And started singing a happy song that lighten everyone's spirits, even Schwab's. They laughed, and all the trees lost their faces turning back into normal trees.
The exited, and wandered into a clearing with a river. Schwab still giggling cause of how much he laughed.
They soon heard crying, and saw a sea serpent smashing the river, obviously in distress.
"Excuse me, sir? But why are you crying?" Twilight asked.
"Well I was here, minding my own business, and a cloud of purple smoke zoomed passed, and cut a peice of my mustache off!"
Rainbow, and Applejack couldn't believe what they heard. "That's what this is about?"
Rarity walked towards them. "Of course it is!! I can't stand to see such beautiful so wasted."
She walked up to the sea serpent, and the two had an exchange. Rarity grabbed, and picked off one of his scales in which he helped in pain. "Ouch!! What was that for?" He asked. Rarity took the scale, and pointed it out sharply cutting her own tail. The sea serpent did the dramatic pose, and allowed Rarity to wrap her tail around the missing peice of his mustache.
He exclaimed happily at his remade mustache, and allowed them to cross the river.
They finally came to a bridge leading the castle. "There it is!" Said Twilight. She ran towards it almost falling off another cliff, Rainbow Dash grabbed her in time. "What's up with you falling off cliffs today?" She asked.
"How do we get across?" Rainbow Dash shook her wings, and flew downward to collect a rope to connect to the other side of the bridge leading to the ruined castle. Schwab perched himself on a stone looking over the cliff. A fog had started to close in between the bridge. He couldn't see anything, and heard voices, but they were mumbled because of the fog.
"Somethings wrong." He said. The others looked at him, and the fog with worry. "Rainbow Dash!! What's taking so long?" Asked Twilight. The fog became thicker blocking out even more noise.
Then silence. There was nothing but the faint sounds of breathing coming from the group. Schwab got worried, and almost fired at the fog, with his corrosive blue flames, when Rainbow Dash, came through with the bridge connected.
Everyone cheered, and crossed. He walked up to her. "What happened?" He asked.
"I was talking to these 'Shadowbolts', but I talked them down. I'm loyal to my friends after all." She said travelling back with he others. Schwab started to feel a pattern of sorts... 'Applejack: Honesty. Fluttershy: Kindness. Pinkie Pie: Laughter. Rarity: Generosity. And Rainbow Dash: Loyalty. All 5 Elements, but... Who is the 6th?' he thought.
They soon came into a room, with a setup, and upon it were the Elements. Applejack spoke up. "Come on Twilight, isn't this what you've been waiting for?"
"The Elements of Harmony we found them!" Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Schwab flew up towards the elements and picked them up one, by one, and placed them gently at Twilight's hooves. Pinkie Pie counted as they did so. "1, 2, 3, 4... There's only 5!" She said.
"Where's the 6th?" Asked Applejack.
"The book said when all five are present, a spark shall ignite, And reveal the 6th element." Said Twilight.
"What the hay is that supposed to mean?"
"I'm not sure, but I got an idea. Stand back."
Applejack nodded, and called for the others. "Come on now y'all, let her concentrate."
On their way outside, Schwab felt a presence at his back. He shivered. Thinking was wind at first, he came to realize something. If it was wind why weren't the others affected? He then came with he realization. There was no wind at all today. It was still. "Oh no." He said.
"What's wrong Schwab?" Asked Rarity.
"We need to go back now!" He said. Just then a scream was heard. It was Twilight's. They ran back in time to see a dark mist swirling like a tornado linking up the elements. Twilight jumped after them, and disappeared with the elements. "Twilight? Where are you?" Asked Applejack. Schwab looked around, and saw lights coming from another building. "There!" He said flying through the window, and towards the main tower. The others cried after him but he was already gone. Applejack spotted a corridor leading to the tower. "Come on y'all, we got to help them!"
Schwab flew up towards the roof looking for a opening. Luckily he did. He saw Twilight at the elements, and sparked them. Nightmare Moon appeared before her, and the elements stopped sparking. "Where the 6th element?" Said Twilight. Nightmare Moon laughed, as she stomped the ground shattering the elements. Schwab flew down, and roared. He picked up Twilight who looked happy to see him, and set her aside. He roared again. "I'm here!! And I'm ready for round 2 Nightmare Moon!!" He roared. He waited for her response to his challenge, in which she laughed. "Hahahaha!! And what do you think you'll accomplish? Nothing! I will defeat you, and send you back to the afterlife!!" The dark alicorn, and the dragon charged each other in head butts. Soon the two flew upwards, and charged their attacks. Nightmare Moon fired a beam at him in which he dodged, he fired his corrosive blue flames back at her in return. She dodged.
The two did a violent dance across the room, dodging, firing their attacks, and head butting the other. Twilight stared in horror,and dodged from time to time when one of their attacks came into range of her. "Stop!!" She yelled, but they didn't listen. Schwab and Nightmare charged each other again, but this time was different. Before impacting her, Schwab dove beneath her, and tackled her from below crashing into the roof. She gasped in pain, and Schwab bit her neck. "Ow!!!! YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!!!" She roared. Nightmare managed to shake him off of her, and stunned him with a violent push. She fired a attack before he could recover, and it blasted him to the ground by Twilight. Twilight ran up to him. "Schwab, are you ok? You can't beat her." She said. Schwab stood up, and spread his wings. "I've got to stop her!" He said before flying towards Nightmare Moon. Nightmare fired another attack, and Schwab dodged it by swirling around it like a snake on a branch while preparing his breath weapon. He could feel the heat on his back, similar to how you would hold your hand over a stove. He slithered towards Nightmare, and when he was face to face he blasted her into the wall.
Schwab remained in the air hovering. Smoke filled the crater where Nightmare Moon was blasted. Thinking the fight was over Schwab turned his back, only for a massive beam to strike his back from the crater. He roared in pain before crashing face first into the ground, sliding on it in a scorpion pose. "Schwab!!" Cried Twilight running to his side. He got up, and coughed blood. His right wing was injured, and it twitch violently in pain. He wheeze in pain, and coughed blood, his torso was scratched with bloody markings, and dark bruises. On his back between his wings was a massive wound that leaked blood, drip by drip.
Nightmare Moon perched herself where the elements once stood, and laughed. "Hahahaha!!! Did you really think you could beat me!? That Night will last forever!!"
Twilight held Schwab gently, and heard the voices of the others. Her eyes went wide, as she realized something. She turned to face Nightmare Moon. "Did you really think you could destroy the elements that easily? When the spirits of the elements themselves are right here!?" She said, as the Mane 5 stood behind her courageously. Twilight began her monologue. "Applejack: Honesty. Fluttershy: Kindness. Pinkie Pie: Laughter. Rarity: Generosity. And Rainbow Dash: Loyalty."
Nightmare was furious. "But you still don't have the 6th element! The spark didn't work!" Twilight continued to stare her down. "But it did, a different kind of spark." She turned towards the others. "I just now realized the feeling I felt when I saw you, how much I enjoyed you, and how much I care about you."
She turned back. "And when the elements are here, the Element of Magic shall reveal itself!" Just by her words alone the 6th element emerged from the power of the other 5. But then something else happened. The elements working in tandem shown their power towards a singularity, and out of it emerged a new element in the shape of the Earth.
Schwab's Earth.
"And with them, we shall defeat you!!" Roared Schwab standing up, his eyes glowing a magnificent blue. His body changed from its angelic appearance to a greenish-brown color like the earth, with his muscles resembling tree bark in a way but still looked organic. His horns also did the same instead of a glow, the horns were wrapped by tree like skin like an elk. His feathered wings retracted into his body, and sprouted outward as bat-like wings, and the webbed flesh between them were a tanned color.
His body was no longer a ghost of a dragon, but instead a physical form, a truly reincarnated being. He was alive, and no longer dead. Tide to Equestria forever. The elements surrounding the others became necklaces, and Twilight's became a crown, and Schwab's became a gem.
Their eyes glowed, and the 6 Elements of Harmony shot a rainbow beam into the sky. Schwab fired his corrosive blue flames, and it swirled the rainbow beam.
Nightmare Moon was horrified, and she looked at the power of the these new 7 elements with terror. The beam shot back down towards her, and engulfed her.
"Nooooooo!!!!!" She cried, feeling her flesh burn away like fire, and acid from Schwab's flames, and her body glowed, in a painful manner like she was about to spontaneously combust from the inside out.
A bright flash filled the room, and all was silent. Nothing could be seen except for the white flash that filled the entire room.
Everyone groaned, and sat up. Rainbow Dash called out first. "Ow, my head." She said rubbing her head. Applejack looked around the place, it was still night, but she can worry about that later she called out. "Everypony ok?"
Rarity squealed happily, as she had somehow grown her tail back from before. Fluttershy was also with her. "Oh my, Rarity it's so beautiful." She said. Rarity had mistaken the comment as her tail however. "I know! I'll never part with it again!" She cheered. Fluttershy then correct her statement. "No, not that. Your necklace it looks exactly like your cutie mark." Rarity looked down at her necklace, she then looked at Fluttershy and saw she had the same thing. "So does yours." Fluttershy looked down and took notice of her own things.
Once everypony was up, Applejack looked around, and took notice of Schwab still passed out, smoke coming from his slightly closed mouth. She went up to nuzzle him awake. He groaned in annoyance before opening his eyes.
"Wha- where am I?" He asked.
"Schwab. We're still here." Said Applejack.
"Oh. Thanks for getting me up."
"No problem."
Applejack turned to Twilight. "Golly, Twilight I just figured you were talking a lot of hooey, but I guess we really do represent the elements of friendship."
"Indeed you do." Said a voice that Schwab, and Twilight instantly recognized.
The sun came up, and night went away. Out of the glow of the sun emerge Princess Celestia. "Princess Celestia!" Called Twilight.
"Twilight Sparkle, my most faithful student! I knew you could do it."
"But I thought it was all just a ponies tale."
"I told you to make some friends."
She looked at the others. "I saw the signs of Nightmare Moon's return, and I knew only you could stop her, but you couldn't have unless you let friendship into your heart."
Schwab looked at her, and everypony else. He grew a sad expression, and spoke. "I never really had this much fun, with anybody before. Me, and my siblings always cared for each other, but we were also distant, only helping the other when one of us was down. My friends helped me through problems, but we never did anything. I was always so distant as was everyone else. I never really felt true friendship, I thank each of you for that."
They looked at him and saw his almost sad expression. Celestia walked up to him. "We are very welcome Schwab, you have told me before in your heaven that your life was so cold, and distant even when your friends, and family were with you, you felt out of place... Just as one other as well..." She concluded with a sad expression.
Celestia turned and walked over to a small light blue alicorn that was surrounded by the remains of Nightmare Moon. "Princess Luna!" She said. the little pony gasped, and stared in fear at Celestia. "It has been a thousand years since I have seen you like this." Celestia sat down in front Luna, who had flinched, and recoiled back in fear. "It's time to put our differences behind us, we were meant to rule together little sister."
Everyone gasped at that statement. "Sister!?"
Celestia stood back up, and looked down at Luna. "Will you accept my friendship?" Luna looked back nervous, before jumping up, and running towards Celestia. "I'm so sorry! I miss you so much big sister." Celestia choked a tearful gasped, and hugged Luna. "I miss you too."
Everypony was happy, except Schwab. I mean he was happy, but he didn't show it. He was happy that the two Siblings we're together again, but at the sight of Luna he felt guilty. From the way he understood it Nightmare Moon was just a incarnation of Luna through Hate, and Jealousy. He had to feel relatable at her. 'Hate, and Jealousy... Two of the several other main weakness to the mind, as well as physical... Anger can consume you, and you do things that you regret, and wish to change it... But we all can learn how to control it. Let your reason, and thoughtfulness cloud your judgement, not your emotions...' he thought, suddenly taken aback by his new wisdom.
"Hey, Schwab you've changed." Said Twilight. Schwab looked at her confused before taking in his features. "Oh, I guess your right. Seems like a represent the Earth." He said. Twilight nodded.
A kazoo was heard, and Pinkie Pie was excited. "This calls for a Party!!!"
They all gathered at Ponyville. Ponies celebrated Princess Luna's return, and parties were thrown.
But beyond the town, Schwab sat at a pond looking at his own image. " *Sigh* True friendship... It feels good. I just wish I could see my siblings again... They were the first before my own friends, but remained behind Mom." He said. He felt a presence behind him, and looked back to see... Princess Luna?
He sat up. "Umm... Hi... So it's nice to meet you Princess Luna." He said nervously. The young alicorn smiled a small smile, and walked up to him. He sat back down, and Luna sat beside him. It was quiet for a good 15 seconds before she spoke. "We just want to say... That we are sorry for the pain we caused to thou, and we shall ask for thou's forgiveness."
Schwab looked at her, confused by the 2nd person p.o.v talk. But he understood what she was saying, he was just confused by the way she said it. "I forgive you Luna, I understand the feelings you felt back then." He said. Luna looked at him. "How does thou know of the pain we felt towards our sister?" She asked. Schwab was slightly taken aback. "I don't know the actual story, but from what I've heard you did out of Jealously, and Hate. Even if it was wrong, you had the right to feel what you felt, everyone does, it's not wrong, but its the way we act upon it thats wrong." He said. Luna considered his words, and realize that what he said was true. She did act out of Hate, and Jealousy, but maybe it was the way she did it that casued her to become Nightmare Moon.
The two sat in a comfortable silence. Schwab looked at Luna, and observed her features. She was cute. He could argue that she looked even more beautiful than Celestia in a way almost. He didn't think Celestia wasn't beautiful, she was. But... Luna seemed to have a more natural way of beauty.
Luna took notice of him staring at her, and looked at him. He looked back. She giggled. "Does thou think we are beautiful?" She said. Schwab didn't answer he just did a nod, a blush coming on his face. Luna giggled again. It was cuter than Nightmare's. "We think that thou is handsome, even for a dragon."
Schwab blushed hard after that comment. "Th-thank you Luna, and yes you are truly beautiful." He said nervously.
Celestia was taking a break from the parties, and went for a silent walk. She took the path that Luna went through to find her, but instead she saw Schwab, and Luna talking to each other. She gasped silently, and hid behind a bush to the best of her ability.
Luna, and Schwab continued their conversation.
"So does thou have any siblings of their own?" Luna had asked. Schwab grew a sad expression, and spoke. "Yes. But sadly I am no longer with them, nor are they no longer with me." He said. Luna was silent, and he continued. "I had 2 others. The eldest of us, our elder brother was gifted, grasping, and troublesome as was so often the case for firstborns in my world. After him I had an elder sister, she was nice, and was my babysitter, when our mother, or elder brother was away. But as each of us got older we grew more, and more distant sadly." He said. Luna listened to him, his life was a curious one, and it had a lot of sad tones here, and there. But it seemed that in his old life, he seemed to appreciate the big, and small, as for he would die, and that he did.
"Do you have any stories of you, and you sister from before Luna?" He asked. Luna began to speak, and told him about the time she, and Celestia were fillies, and the happy times they had together, and the times when they would argue, in which she would lead up to the events of her banishment.
Luna grew sad, after the story, and had tears in her eyes.
Celestia had been watching the entire exchange behind the bush. She grew to learn more about Schwab, and remembered the time of her, and Luna when Luna told her story. She grew sad when Luna flaked about her banishment, and was just about to come out to comfort her, when she saw something.
Schwab looked at Luna, and took his newly bat-like wing around Luna, and pulled her close so he could give her some comfort. "Luna... You had the right to feel want you felt, everyone does it. Just... Just take your time to learn from it. Hate, and Jealousy is terrible yes. But it can be controlled, it'll take time, but I believe you can do it." He said in a comforting manner. Luna looked up at him. "You think so?" Schwab nodded, and the two sat back in silence again. They watch the evening sky, it was about it be night soon. Schwab had stayed away from the others the entire day to reflect on his old life, and how this life could be like.
Celestia had watched the whole exchange, and thought that Luna could leaned to control the negative emotions, it was awful to see her sister be, and act that way, and the guide to help her was right there.

Celestia took this time to lower the sun, and walked out behind the bush to tell Luna to raise the moon for the first time in a thousand years. She began to act like she never saw, or heard their exchange.
"Well, well, well, you two seemed to be getting along just fine." She said. Schwab, and Luna turned to Celestia, and blushed heavily. "Tia! We does not like it when you consider such things!" Luna whined. Celestia giggled. "What? You two seemed to be enjoying the other's company!" Schwab spoke up. "It's not like that Princess Celestia!" Celestia laughed, and calmed down. "Lu-lu it's time to raise the moon." She said. Luna peeked up at what her sister said, and had the happiest expression today. "Yes!!" She squealed happily with joy. She turned to the sky, and lit her horn slowly rising the moon. Her moon. The first one in ages.
Schwab observed her do it, and was in awe at how the two sisters controlled the sun, and moon. He was happy that Luna had finally cheered at something, or maybe she did earlier? He wasn't there when the parties were going on.
Once the moon was fully up, Schwab took on it's beauty. It shined so calmly, an object suited for calmness, thought, and the soul. The Earth's child, it's companion for eternity. It gives us life, the seasons, and tides. Without it we may not have even existed at all. Truly an object of wonder, and majesty, and it will remain with us till the end of time.
Luna was happy that she could raise her moon again. Celestia was happy too, but she felt more happy when a sudden thought of Luna, and Schwab came into her head.
Soon it was time for Celestia, and Luna to go back to Cantorlot.
Schwab was with them when they were about to leave. Before they left however he talked to Luna one more time. "Umm. Princess Luna?" He said.
"Yes?" Said Luna.
"I'm glad we got to know each other better, and I'm glad your better, but if you ever need anything I'm always here." He said growing a blush. Luna blushed too and accepted his statement. "We are happy, and half thou has accepted us, if we ever need anything we shall call upon thou to aid us."
After that the two sisters left. Schwab stared at the two before they left his field of vision.
"I think I like her." Said Schwab seemingly subconsciously as he went back without even acknowledging what he said.
He went to sleep that night with one thing on his mind.
