Applejack coughs as she opens a door to the hallway of the farmhouse. Everything is pitch black before Applejack takes out a flashlight and turns it on, illuminating some parts of the pitch black halls, Applejack keeps coughing as she walks down the hall while covering her mouth as she opens a door to her little sisters room, no lights seem to be working as she tries to turn on the lights but nothing works.
Applejack breathes heavily as she walks over to the window of the room and opens it looking outside, its nighttime and snow is falling heavily all around. Applejack coughs up blood and has a huge coughing fit and coughs up a lot of blood onto the floor as she groans and grunts and slowly gets up as she looks up into the sky. There seems to be no moon in the entire sky above, the clouds are all dark, Thunder roars in the distance as she adjusts to the darkness looking into the night sky.
The sky has a small tint of red it in, and there are no stars visible either. Applejack coughs again before she quickly shuts the window and rushes back to the hall as she grunts before continuing to walk. Applejack gasps at her reflection before sitting down against the wall panting, Applejack hears multiple strange growls from downstairs as she strains and coughs but muffles her coughs putting her hoof on her mouth as she grunts and yelps as the flashlight light all of sudden turns red.
Applejack gets up quickly shuffling down the hall as she descends down the stairs and gasps as she misses a step and almost trips as a large burst of red distorts the walls for a second and part of her fur, Applejack coughs up more blood before scanning her light through the darkness, revealing pools of blood and blood splatters on the walls as a loud screech comes from upstairs. Applejack groans and runs down to the kitchen still no light anywhere in the house.
Applejack picks up a knife and grunts as she steps on a shard of glass and groans as she takes it out with her hoof gasping slightly as the shard had cut deep.
"Ugh.. agh.. why me.." Applejack murmurs in a raspy voice as she coughs again and limps very slightly before forcing her leg to walk as she grunts. Applejack hits her flashlight multiple times causing a burst of red and coded lines appear throughout the kitchen. Applejack walks over and grabs a small mirror and shines her light on it to look at herself and sees computer code flashing on her hat and the wall behind her distorting everything for a couple seconds before disappearing.
Applejack sobs softly into her hoof before running and stopping to cough as she hears distorted whispers coming from the darkness.
"Who's there? Who the fuck is there! show yourself! mother- ugh.." Applejack coughs up a little blood as she shines the light, nothing seems to be over there before she spots a shadow dart across the wall into the hall. Applejack yelps and runs back before stopping as she is teleported upstairs into her room somehow as she breathes heavily shining her light across the room, the light is no longer red as she grunts.
"Why! just let me free! please I beg you! I'll do anything, I swear literally anything!... please.." Applejack cries softly before walking to her bed and collapsing onto it, Applejack lays sobbing and crying into her pillow for a couple minutes before forcing herself to sit up on the bed.
"Hello?" Applejack whispers as the silent has grown too quiet.
"Anypony?"
"Please.. help me... please.." Applejack murmurs as a tear falls down her cheek.
Applejack groans and grunts wiping it away as she shines the light, a human shadow rises across the floor from the corner of the room as the shadow shows it is growing and sharp crab like claws form from it, slightly moving like tentacles.
Applejack breathes heavily and slowly points her flashlight into the corner of the room revealing a disfigured human body covered in blood and flesh and bones, multiple sharp claws wiggling and a large wide open mouth with no teeth just flesh and blood falling from it as it screams at her.
Applejack cries and screams as she runs to the door, forcing it open with her body and strength as she runs down the halls as it screeches and cries and growls as Applejack tripes down the stairs breaking her left hind-ling as she gasps and yells as her flashlight falls down the stairs and down into the darkness. A loud ringing noise sounds in her ears like a whistle as Applejack screams in pain as redness fills the void of darkness with lines of code and numbers and letters as Applejack gasps and tumbles down the stairs grabbing onto her flashlight as the ringing noise turns into loud distorted computer scanning sounds or of a machine.
Applejack gaps and grunts and screams so loud before everything suddenly goes quiet. Applejack exhales and breathes heavily gasping for air for a second almost coughing again. Applejack groans and turns herself over as her flashlight flickers and turns off.
"No.. no.. please.. no!" Applejack whispers before shouting.
"Please! I'll do anything! please! I beg you! please have mercy!" Applejack shouts into the darkness. Nothing answers, just the sound of quietness.
A thud comes from upstairs and Applejack gasps slightly looking up, Applejack slowly takes of her hat and chucks it towards the stairs as it lands on stair "7"
Applejack breathes heavily looking at her hat shedding a tear. Applejack exhales and breathes normally after a minute and closes her eyes.
"Im sorry.. friends.. I've failed all of you.. this isn't what were friends do.. I'm a failure.." Applejack says as she stands up, forcing herself too as she slowly opens her eyes. Applejack looks to the stairs and sees a large floating ball of red light as it shines in her face, she shields her eyes for a second before looking at it directly.
"Take me" Applejack whispers.
The light lunges at her as everything goes red.
