Gazing at the Stars
Things were going unusual today at Fluttershy's cottage. Fluttershy had already set up her tea party items that she had made ready for Discord when he would arrive and waited for him to arrive for their Tuesday tea party. Hours passed, but for some reason, the draconequus didn't appear. Fluttershy would glance at the clock as the hands move as she anxiously waited, hoping that Discord would appear. She enjoyed her time she spent with Discord during their tea parties.
"Oh, where could he be?" Fluttershy wondered. "He doesn't usually arrive this late."
Just then, a note appeared out of nowhere and floated into her hooves. Looking at the note, Fluttershy saw that it was addressed to her before she began to read what it said.
Dear Fluttershy,
Right now, you are probably wondering why I am not at your house for our usual Tuesday tea party. For that, I do apologize for not being here. But I have my reasons for why I am not here and here's what I have planned. Instead of having our tea party today, I was thinking of the two of us doing something different and it will be at nighttime. I'll be at your place at seven to pick you up.

Discord
Once she had finished reading the letter, Fluttershy let out a sigh of relief. Discord didn't forget their weekly tea party and had actually something else planned for them tonight. However, another thought was in her mind. She wondered why the draconequus would want to wait until nighttime to do something with her. Whatever is was, he really must want it to be really exciting if he wanted to do it at night. So until it was time, Fluttershy collected all her tea party items and put them away. There was no need for them today since she would be doing something with Discord tonight when he came to pick her up.
Many hours passed as Fluttershy kept herself busy with tending to her animal friends. Finally, the sun rose down as the moon and stars were raised up by Princess Luna, signaling that it was time for the nighttime to begin.
Inside her cottage, Fluttershy was sitting on her chair as she waited patiently for Discord to arrive. Looking at the clock, she saw that the clock hands were pointing at 6:55. Only five more minutes until Discord would come and take her to wherever they were doing tonight. The suspense of what Discord had in mind for what they would be doing tonight was too much to bear.
A knock at the door got Fluttershy's attention. Discord must be here now to pick her up. She got off of her chair and approached the door before she grabbed the handle. Opening it, the pegasus saw Discord waiting outside. The draconequus himself smiled once hew saw Fluttershy.
"Why, Fluttershy! How wonderful to see you!" He said with a smile. He held out his paw towards the pegasus. "Shall we go out for our special evening?"
Fluttershy smiled at the draconequus and lifted her hoof to his paw. It was sweet how he was being a gentleman to her.
"We may."
Discord smiled at the pegasus before he said, "Then let's go, my dear!"
He snapped his fingers and the two of them disappeared in a flash. One second later, they reappeared on a hill. Fluttershy looked at their surroundings and was amazed at what she saw. There were flowers that were glowing in different colors just like shiny diamonds. Fireflies hovered around the night sky and the lake, lighting up like stars.
Fluttershy was speechless as she sat down on the soft grass. Never in her life has she seen anything so extraordinary as this. The light of the fireflies shining up in the night was so beautiful that they shined with the stars in the sky.
"Oh...my," Fluttershy said, not taking her attention away from the dazzling light of the fireflies and the stars that twinkled in the sky.
Just then, the pegasus felt something light on her head. She turned her head and saw that Discord was placing a crown of flowers on her head. Looking at the draconequus, Fluttershy figured out that he made this crown of flowers for her while she was busy gazing at the night sky.
"Thought you should wear something for such an occasion," Discord said, admiring how beautiful the pegasus looked with the flowers on her head. "And what better way than to make a crown of flowers for the most beautiful mare I'm glad to have as a friend?"
Fluttershy blushed at the words Discord said to her. She didn't know what to say, but what the draconequus said about her being beautiful was a sweet thing to say about her.
"Why thank you, Discord," she said. "That's really sweet of you to say that about me."
"My pleasure," Discord said. "I know how much you love animals so I thought it would be a good idea to see the fireflies together in the night. They really do an excellent job shining. Really goes well with the stars."
Fluttershy smiled, finally understanding why Discord wanted her to go out with him instead of their tea party. He wanted to show her this astounding spectacle that appeared before her.
Looking at the draconequus, the pegasus smiled. "Discord," she said. Discord looked at her, wondering what was on her mind. "This is the most wonderful thing I have ever seen! I've never seen anything like it before in my life!"
Discord smiled, glad that she was enjoying this wonderful night with him. "Why thank you! I'm glad you-,"
Before the draconequus could finish, Fluttershy happily tackled him as they both laid down on the grass. She was on top of him. But what surprised Discord the most was that Fluttershy tenderly pressed her lips against his own lips. The moment Discord felt her lips press against his own, his eyes widen before his pupils became heart shaped. Closing his eyes, the draconequus returned the kiss as he and Fluttershy shared the passionate kiss together as the stars continued twinkling in the sky.
