“Alright, come on up, I'll show you my room and we'll call Shimmer.”

“Right. No, she doesn't,” she replied, “Twi might not have told you but we have devices that can communicate over distance.”

“Good, so we'll call Shimmer and she'll do the rest.” Rainbow's lips widened into a smile as they entered Dash's private room. Posters lined the walls and there were some hangers that had medals hanging from them. The ground too was a mess of comics and Rainbow even spotted something that looked like Daring Do. It was absolutely in the same state as her room back in Equestria. “Don't mind the mess, didn't exactly expect a visitor this weekend.”
“I'm used to it,” Rainbow chuckled.
“Cool.” Dash pulled out her phone and got Sunset's contact up, calling the number. She placed the phone on the bed between herself and the pegasus, a beeping sound coming from it as it tried connecting to the phone on the other end.
“Sunset Shimmer here, I'm currently not-”
Dash groaned and pressed the button to end the call, Rainbow raising an eyebrow. “What did you do that for?”
“It's Shimmer's voicemail, a pre-recorded message telling us she isn't there,” Dash explained, picking up the phone and tapping on it rapidly. “I'll just send her a message that you're here and she should inform Twilight ASAP.” Dash raised her phone and pointed the back at Rainbow. “Smile!”

The phone made a click and Dash turned it around to show Rainbow a picture of herself looking totally confused. “That's perfect, don't you think?” Before Rainbow could object Dash had sent the picture off to Sunset. “Done, now it's waiting for Shimmer to look at her phone.”

Rainbow took the time to inspect some of the books some more, rummaging through the ones on the floor and tossing away some dirty clothes into a single pile. The book she'd found bore a very similar title to one of her own.
