Chapter 0- Inviting the special guests
“Come on Rarity, you gotta come!”
“Would you care to tell me why I should go to…whatever this is, Sweetie Belle?”
“Tomorrow in school, this pony that has been living here for a long time is going to tell us a story!” Sweetie Belle was jumping around happily.
“Whatever made you think I would want to come to story time? I am no longer a little filly, Sweetie.” Rarity was getting quite impatient with Sweetie Belle distracting her from making another dress.
“Well, Miss Cheerilee said that the principal told her that he wanted to share it with the Elements of Harmony too…”
“Oh, he said that? Well, I certainly cannot refuse an invitation, but I do have many orders to finish, so it may have to wait.”
“Cheerilee also said he wouldn’t tell his story unless all six of the Elements were present… And everyone in class wants to hear this story!”

“Well, if this pony won’t tell his story if all of us are there, Ah guess Ah can take the time ta go an listen.”
“Oh, thanks you Applejack! You are the best sis ever!”

“Call me your sister if you want Scoot. We both know we aren’t related, but it feels nice having somepony as cool as you call me sister.”
“OHMYGOSH! Do you really think that, Rainbow Dash!?”
“Of course I do! What makes you think I would lie to you?” Rainbow Dash gives Scootaloo a noogie while sitting on a cloud during one of their flight practices.
“Ohmyghosh ohmygosh ohmygosh! First she helps me learn to fly now she says she thinks of me as a sister! Best! Day! Ever!”

“So…what you are saying, is that somepony is going to tell a story in school tomorrow, and he want all the elements of harmony to come?” Twilight Sparkle was confused when Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Applejack came to the library with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie and told them what the Cutie Mark Crusaders told them.
“Well…I think it is a wonderful idea. I haven’t listened to any stories in a long time, so I think we should all go, that is, if you want to…”
“Of course we all have to go, Fluttershy! He said that he wouldn’t tell his story unless all of us were there!” Pinkie was jumping around happily at the thought of hearing a story.
The only pony that didn’t say that she was going to go was Twilight. “I don’t know if I want to go, girls…I have read every story out there, and this stallion…he wouldn’t be able to tell a story I already read.”
Just as Twilight finished, a piece of paper slipped under her door. Fluttershy was the first to notice, so she picked it up and read it out loud. “ ‘I know what you are thinking, young Twilight Sparkle. I know that you have read every story ever published, but not mine. I will see you all at the school tomorrow.’ ”
