I one day wake up with my house in Equesria. If that wasn’t already weird enough, other things from alternate universes are also popping up.
The last thing I expected was to wake up to find me and my house has been transported to an alternate universe in a nation called Equestia that’s inhabited by anthropomorphic ponies. But I'm not the only thing that got to Equestria. Other things from alternate universes start to show up here too. Imagine my shock when I find out that some of the objects brought to Equestria were things that I thought were fictional!?
Note: This is not a herding fic. I am a new writer so expect a few mistakes. Also if you dislike the story, please give me a reason why.
Today was going good for me. I got all my chores done early, finished all my home work and found out I aced a test I studied hard for. So I decide to spend the rest of today just trying to relaxing and having fun.
*flash* *boom*
Key word, trying. It seems that life has decided that I shouldn’t get the day to relax.
“What the hell!?” I yell, shooting up off of the couch I was sitting on and dropping my Switch in the process. I quickly run outside to see why there was a flash of light through my window and a deafening boom coming from outside. I rush out my front door and quickly notice that something was wrong. I see that where there used to be the street and other houses that made up my neighborhood, now stood an empty field. I was shocked but that feeling quickly turned into extreme confusion. My house was moved somehow and I had no idea why. After staring at the field for a minute, I noticed that it looked....off. The field looked bright and colorful, almost comparable to a kids cartoon. After a few minutes of staring at the field, I came up two options on what to do. I could throw caution to the wind and go out to explore my surroundings, or I could play it safe by locking myself in my home and see if I could possibly call for help. Thinking for a moment, I finally decided on what action I should take. ‘.......better safe than sorry’ I though to myself, quickly returning to my house. I lock the door and walk over to my phone to see if I could call for help. I grab my phone off the coffee table and check to see if I could get a signal. ‘No signal. Shit’ I curse, tossing my phone onto the couch.
I spend the next ten minutes going though my house making sure all the doors and windows are locked so that nothing could get in. After that I decided to walk into the garage to get a weapon and settling for a small hatchet. Now all I have to do now is wait for a while and see if anything happens. I started to feel a little hungry and thought I should make myself some food. Going over to the freezer, I open it and hear the hum that usually signifies that it is on. ‘Thank god my dad recently got solar panels for the house’ thought to my self. I get out a pizza pocket and put it in the toaster oven then turn it on for twenty five minutes. I walk back to the couch and start to run through the possibilities of what had happened. After thinking for a good fifteen minutes, I came to two conclusion. Either I am having a really weird dream, or I have been teleported by something and left here, which is most likely not Earth or the same universe/dimension. After pinching myself and feeling some pain, I was leaning towards the latter. While it should be impossible to get sent to another universe, but so is me and my house being teleported so I can't rule that possibility out. I decide to save these thoughts for later. For now, I will just wait in my home in case wherever I ended up is dangerous.
I start to think about other things to get my mind off it. I then imagine my dad’s reaction to our house being gone when he gets home from work and chuckle a little. I stop shortly and start to frown a little after thinking about how worried my family will be. Quickly shaking it off, and go back to playing my Switch. After I eat my meal and kill some time for a few hours, I hear a knock at the door. Startled from the sudden knock, I quickly get to my feet and grabbed my hatchet. I slowly tiptoe to the door and put my ear to the door, hearing some female voices talking to each other on the other side.
“Ah still don’t think this is a good idea.” a southern voice says
“Why? You scared?” A raspy voice asks
“Ahm not scared, it’s just that this house appeared out of thin air right next to mah farm and there might be something dangerous in there. It would be safer if some guards came to investigate with us, just in case.” The southern voice replied.
“Oh please, we saved Equestria more times than I can count. We could beat whatever might be in there no problem. Besides, you're just worried that whatever is in there will hurt you trees.”
“Girls, please be quiet. We don’t want to startle whatever’s in there.” Another voice says
I stand near the door and ponder if I should open it or not.
“What’s taking so long?” The raspy voice asks impatiently.
“M-maybe Nopony’s home.” a barely audible voice says.
‘Nopony?’ I thought to myself. I continue to listen into what they are saying.
They decided to knock again.
“Hello! Is anypony in there?” One of the voices yelled.
I brushing off the fact that they said ‘anypony’ and after working up the nerve to open the door to see who was there, I unlock the door. I grab the doorknob with one hand and have my hatchet in the other one just in case. I open the door just enough to see a big blue eye and a face full of pink.
“Hi!”
“AAAH” I yell in surprise, dropping my hatchet and trip, falling backwards to the ground. I then feel my head hit something hard and started to feel myself slipping into unconsciousness before blacking out.
Slowly awaking from unconscious, I some hear voices whispering near me. Groaning, I slowly sit up and start rubbing my head. I awoke to massive head ache, and while I was rubbing my head I noticed I had bandages wrapped around my head.
“Sh, it’s waking up” I hear a voice to my right say.
I immediately pause, and open my eyes. I slowly turn toward the voice, only to see six pastel colored humanoids standing before me. I then notice some of them have horns or wings. I could also tell that they were all female for some reason. I silently stare at them for a good twenty seconds before the purple one in the very front decide’s to break the silence.
“Uuuuhhhhhh.........Hello?” The purple one says.
I continue to stare at them for a couple of seconds before muttering “what the fuuuuuuck”. I then look away and start to run my eyes to make sure I am not seeing things, looking back at them and see they are still there. I continue to stay silent trying to process what I am seeing. Noticing that the purple one is starting to look slightly uncomfortable, I decide to ask the biggest question on my mind.
“What are you?”
The purple one, slightly thrown off by this question replies “Uh...My name is Twilight Sparkle and I am a pony. Now if you don’t mind me asking, what are you?”
Pausing for a second, I reply “I’m Andrew Miller and I am a human. Did you say you say you were a pony?” She nods. “Well you don’t look like any pony I’ve seen before.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?!” The pony with rainbow hair asks.
“What I mean is, where I come from, ponies don’t walk on two legs, talk, come in pastel colors or have horns or wings.” I replied
“And where’s that?” Twilight asks.
“Definitely not here.......where is ‘here’ exactly?”
“Oh, You're on the outskirts of Ponyville.” Twilight answers. She then noticed my questioning look. “In Equestria.” She clarifies. I continue to give a questioning look. “On planet Equis?”
“Ok, I am definitely not on my world anymore.”
“Ahem.”
We look over and see the rainbow haired pony Twilight was with looking slightly inpatient.
“Oh! I didn’t introduce my friends to you did I? Well, this is Rainbow Dash,”
“Hey.”
“Applejack,”
“Howdy.”
“Rarity,”
“Hello darling.”
“Pinkie pie,”
"Hello!"
“And Fluttershy.”
“Uh....hi.”
I look at them for a second before replying. “Well those are some........interesting names you guys have. As you heard, my name is Andrew and it’s nice to meet you all.”
Remembering the bandage around my head, I decided to ask why it was there. “Why is there a bandage on my head?”
The one name Fluttershy started to hide behind her hair before she timidly responds. “Uh......Y-You hit your head and started to bleed when you fell. I-I found some bandages in your first aid kit and applied them to your head. Sorry for going through your house without asking.”
I wave her off. “It’s fine. In fact, I should be thanking you for helping me.”
She hides behind her hair a little more. “Oh....um....I-It was nothing.”
There was a couple of seconds awkward silence before I decided to ask a big question on my mind.
"Do any of you know how I got here?" I ask.
"Unfortunately, we don't. We were hoping you would know and explain why a house suddenly appeared, but you're clearly as clueless as us." Twilight says.
"So what now? Is there a way to send me home?" I ask
"I'll send a letter to Princess Celestia to see if she knows a way to send you back." She replies.
"I'm guessing Princess Celestia is your ruler or something?" I ask.
"Yes she is, but she's also my teacher." She says
"It's getting late, I should get going if I want to send a letter to The Princess." Twilight says.
I look outside the window and see that the sky was starting to turn a nice orange color.
"Guess you guys are going to sort this out tomorrow, huh?" I says.
"Yeah. Hopefully The Princess has a way to send you home." Twilight says.
"Well see you all later." I say.
"Nice meeting you Andrew." Twilight says.
They all start to walk out of the front door, before they noticed that Fluttershy wasn't following them out.
"Is something wrong Fluttershy?" Rainbow asks.
"Oh....uh....I was thinking of....mabye....staying with Andrew to make sure his injury doesn't get worse.....If that's okay with you." Fluttershy says meekly.
I and the rest of her friends look at her, slightly surprised. Rainbow then pulls her aside and starts to whisper with her. I couldn't hear that much, but I could hear a couple of phrases from rainbow like 'We can't trust him yet' and 'He might be dangerous' with Fluttershy replying with 'But he's hurt'. This went on for a minute before I hear Rainbow sigh and say "Fine, But I'm staying here with you.". Rainbow th3n looks at me and asks "Thats fine with you, Right?".
"Yeah, it's fine." I reply.
"um Applejack, could you maybe tell Angel I won't be back tonight and to feed the animals please?" Fluttershy asks.
"Sure thing sugarcube." Applejack replied.
Everyone except for Fluttershy and Rainbow start to leave, saying goodbye their friends on the way out with Pinkie mentioning a ‘welcome to Ponyville’ party. Once they leave, I look at my two guests. "You two can make yourselves at home, I'll go make us something to drink" I say. I then start to get up off of my couch before Fluttershy rushes over to me and gently pushes me back onto the couch.
"I'm sorry but you need some rest." she says softly but with a little firmness. "I'll get us some drinks instead....if thats okay with you." She says.
"Oh, okay" I reply with a little hesitation.
She then walks into the kitchen looking through my cabinets for some glasses. I then notice Rainbow walk over to me and crouch right next to me while Fluttershy had her back turned toward us.
"I'm watching you. If you do anything to harm Fluttershy, I don't care if you've got an injury, I'll make getting yourself home the least of your problems. Are we clear?" she whispers to me in a slightly threatening tone.
"Crystal." I whisper back, feeling slightly nervous.
"Good." She replies before standing up.
"Um....I for got to ask, but what kind of drinks do you have?" Fluttershy asks meekly.
"I've got soda, milk and water in the refrigerator and some tea in the cabinet on the far left."I tell her.
"I'll just have some water." Rainbow tells her
"I'll have some tea." I say.
I then see Fluttershy take out the teabags and get to work preparing tea. I occasionally had to tell her where certain things were but she eventually finished the tea. She brought out our drinks and sat down next to me on the couch with Rainbow sitting near by on the recliner eyeing me suspiciously. I take sip a sip of my tea and start to think that my experience here so far has pretty nice.
