Reborn
Tenor Nocturne was waking up in his bed. It was sunrise. The birds were singing, and already smelling the scent of the morning.
"Wake up dear..." his mother, Soprano Nocturne said to him. "It is time for breakfast, Tenor."
"I am, mother, wait..." Tenor said, groggy as ever he could be. "Damn that trip in the dark the other day messed me up...".
Tenor and Soprano went to the kitchen, and saw his father, Crescendo, making breakfast.
"Good morning, Tenor." Crescendo said, looking at his son. "How did you sleep?"
"Father, i slept like a little foal. Damn might be the best sle--." Tenor said, before being cut off.
"I do have some news though. Some creatures named "The Sirens" had started entering Equestria. Princess Celestia reported they are currently in a cave, hibernating." Crescendo said with a slow voice.
"The... Sirens? Tell me more, if you know." Tenor asked his father, very curious about the Sirens.
"Sadly, that's what I only know about them. They only recently came over to Equestria in the night."
"I'm intrigued." Tenor said in a child-like voice. "Might go outside to see if anyone knows about them."
"If you must, I don't recommend going outside with these unknown creatures and don't try to go after them. Ok dear?" Crescendo responded.
"Yes, father." Tenor responded to his question.
- After breakfast... -
"Father?" Tenor asked, catching his father's look. "Can I go outside now? I have ate breakfast now, and I don't really have anything to do right now."
"Yes, you can. But try to keep an eye out for the Sirens, you may never know when they will come out and be peaceful, or terrorize Equestria as we know it. I certainly wouldn't want you to get hurt." Crescendo responded, with a little worrying tone.
"I will be careful, father, will be back if siren activity is showing." Tenor said, in a warm tone, "See you all later!" but before going outside, he hugged his parents.
"Bye, Tenor." His parents said in unison.
"Byeeeeeee!" said Tenor, in a child-like voice.
Tenor went outside, and tried to find the mapmaker of the town. He knows making a map of Equestria fast is a hard task with a big price tag, but he has the money, and the pressure. He wanted to find the Sirens and learn about them directly, avoiding his fathers advice.
"Damn. No mapmaker in town. Guess I have to just find them with instinct." Tenor said in a determinant voice, ready to face these creatures.
So he went. Went and went and went. through the Everfree Forest, Canterlot, Crystal Empire, and long forgotten caves.
But the damn creatures won't show themselfs. "Oh screw it! I'm going back home!" Rage filled his mind. Rage that he wouldn't know these creatures now.
But it wasn't long before he saw a shocking turn of events. The Sirens were rampaging thru Canterlot, getting whatever magic they can get before leaving to hibernate. Tenor was in awe. He loved the scene. He loved to see conflict between the people of Canterlot, and he watched it all. "This show is amazing. Just amazing! All the negativity, all the conflict!" It was not long before he was under the effects of the Sirens magic too, but...
"I see something in this stallion." Said Adagio, the leader of the 3. "He has the malevolence to be a strong siren himself."
Adagio felt that he was strong enough to be part of them and lead the way for Siren-kind.
"Are you sure, Adagio? For all I know, this is just a stallion for a love of conflict." Aria interjected, skeptical of what Adagio thought about him.
"I'm with Aria. Are you that ok with him bearing the role of the 4th?" Sonata said, with obvious skepticism in her voice too, unsure of what will happen.
"You two. Listen to me. If we can get another siren with us, then it is obvious. It will be easier to defeat whoever wants to end us. Also, if us 3 lose our magic, he is kind of a backup. He also can use unicorn magic if per-se he loses his amulet too." Adagio responded. "Unless he goes behind out backs, but the promise of power will make him accept this. Or we persuade him..."
"Well, I'm for it. Sonata?" Aria responded.
"Eh sure. I'm fine with the plan." Sonata said.
"Let's get him back to our cave then. We should have a amulet for him there." Adagio said, before going away with Tenor on her, he was riding her like some kind of dragon. He eventually slept on her, too tired to really focus. But when they got there, he was dropped on the stone floor.
"Ow! What the actual- Ohhh... What is that? Tenor, still groggy, noticed the amulet. "Interesting... I can feel dark magic pulsating from this.... Wait, where am I?"
"If you took one second to look behind, you would know dear..." Said Adagio, in a ambient tone.
"Well well well... if it isn't you three. Speak up." Tenor said in a dominant voice, but already knows that he is going to get pummeled.
"We wanted a new siren, or at least Adagio said, and we or Adagio, think you are the perfect one to fit the spot." Aria responded to Tenor's question.
"I see that you have the malevolence in you to fight among us. And I saw that. All the trouble you have caused in Ponyville is one example. Stealing is one of these, next one is destruction of property just cause. I know how you implanted a rotten bloomrape seed just claiming it was a little flower seed, and fooled everyone cause of it. How about when you got the chance to visit the Royal Castle, and almost destroyed it just cause. So I don't see the reason why you shouldn't be with us."
Adagio said to Tenor, trying to persuade him to put the amulet on.
"It seems very tempting. All the power I want, in one single gem. Only thing is, I don't want to at the same time. I already worked with Granny Smith about the seed situation, and also talked through with Celestia and Luna about the Castle." Tenor said, but before he was put on a wall.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Tenor was shocked. "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" Tenor pleaded.
"Kill? Moi? You must be crazy." Adagio said in a sultry voice, and put the amulet on him, and put a memory spell on him, making him think he was abused by everyone in Equestria, and remove the memories of being put on the wall.
His blood was boiling. He felt every inch of his body aching, the transformation was painful, and the three Sirens put silencing magic on him so that no one would hear him. Every body part, turning into shreds inside him... but now, it was complete. He is no more a unicorn. "Thank you... Now i can reenact my revenge on the Equestrian populace!" Tenor said, with malice in his voice.
"And now it's time." Adagio said with pride, taking the other 3 sirens along. But unlucky... the Pillars have grouped up.
Starswirl the Bearded opened the portal, and threw them into Limbo, where the magic they once had was made useless.
