prologue: Road trip
"RARITY BELLE!" yelled Rainbow Dash. "ARE YOU READY?"
"NO!" called back Rarity. "Can someone please help me with the luggage?"
Sunset Shimmer sighed. "I'll help," she replied, trudging up the stairs. As she opened the door, her cyan eyes widened to Rarity's immense amount of luggage.
"Rarity. You don't need all that," said Sunset gently. "Come on, I'll help you pack. All we need is the basic essentials for 12 months."
Sunset threw in ladies things, pyjamas, clothes, toiletries etc into Rarity's suitcase."
"There." said Sunset, standing back. "That's all you need."
Rarity hugged Sunset. "Thanks, Sunny."
The girls drove around. "LOOK OUT!" yelled Rainbow Dash. "LIGHTS!"
It was too late. Applejack crashed into the lights. The car jolted and halted. The doors threw open and the suitcases piled out. One by one, the girls grabbed their cases, and disappeared, except Rarity.
"Pinkie?" called Rarity. "Sunset?"
The only thing that was left was a book on Sunset's seat that Sunset and Twilight were sharing. Rarity picked it up and looked at the cover.

Rarity turned to the first page.
The multiverse is where the different worlds grow. Wizarding, Muggle, Equestria etc. There are so many out there. To free someone from a multiverse and return them back home, you-

Rarity sighed. "Pinkie will be in the muggle world, so I'd better head there and save her first."
chapter 1: A strange new world
Pinkie Pie POV
I looked around me. This isn't Canterlot. I thought. Where am I?
I walked around the streets trying to find my way. What did i do to make people smile?
Tell jokes, have fun! So that what I did, I went into pubs and just made people laugh.
I also knew school was important. Where was the best school?
I knew I could not afford to go to a private school, but a public school.
Here, they call them state schools. I skipped down the streets singing.

Everyone around me clapped. I grinned broadly, as I took my bows. Wherever I go, I bring joy and laughter to everyone. Sunset said Pinkie in any world is always Pinkie.
chapter 2: Saving Pinkie Pie
Rarity POV
"Pinkie?" I cried. "Pinkie!"
I slumped onto a bench. I saw someone talking on the street opposite me. It sounded a lot like-
"PINKIE!" I yelled.
Pinkie Pie turned. "Rarity! Is that you!" she asked, running towards me.
"Yes." I replied, giving my friend a hug.
Pinkie Pie grinned. "Shame. I enjoyed being here. Made everyone laugh and smile!"
I smiled. "Glad you enjoyed it. But now, we have to save our friends!"
Pinkie plonked herself next to me. "So, what's the plan, Rarebear?"
"The plan?" I asked, surprised.
"You know to save the next person!" yelled Pinkie Pie.
"Um... well, we have to go to Hogwarts to save Rainbow Dash." I said. "I don't know how we'd do that though." I admitted.
"I do!" cried Pinkie Pie.
"You do?" I asked. "Only witches and wizards can see Hogwarts."
"If Dash can find herself there, then we can see Hogwarts!" cried Pinkie Pie.
I face-palmed. How was I so stupid? I thought.
"Maybe," said Pinkie Pie, "We could find one of our old songs and play it outside Rainbow's dormy and lure Rainbow out and then tell her! Maybe we play Awesome as I wanna be!"
"That song?!" I cried. "It's stupid!"
"Let's save Dash then!" cried Pinkie Pie
