I awoke to my alarm clock feeling a bit of excitement. When I realized what day it was.
“All right today’s the day for BronyCon.” I thought in excitement as I got up from my bed. I had been a bit late getting into the MLP Fandom having only joined when Season 8 of Friendship is Magic started but I was still a big fan nonetheless.
I had sadly missed being unable to attend BronyCon originally since I was unable to travel, but recently due to the release of Pony Life and it’s… reception to say the least, it gave a nostalgia push for the FiM fans and eventually have rise to another MLP convention, which some people were also calling Neo BronyCon.
“I hope the day goes well.” I muttered to myself as I began to cook myself a ham and cheese omelette for breakfast. Truthfully this was my first ever convention so I was a bit excited and nervous.
I felt a bit of hair rubbing on my ankles, I looked down and saw the black fur of Siren.
“Hey Girl.” I said picking up Siren and setting her on the part of the counter away from the food I keep clear for her to walk on.
“Meroww.” Siren yelled at me.
“Hungry?” I asked her.
Siren just seemed to give me a look.
I laughed a bit humorously as I grabbed her bowls from the window seal above the sink and filled them with clean water and a can of food.
Siren jumped up into her little next area and began to eat her breakfast.
I chuckled and scratched her behind the ears for a bit before I went to sit at the table and eat my own breakfast.
After I ate and got my dishes cleaned up I made sure Siren’s litter box was clean and that her back up food and water containers were filled enough to last her enough for the whole day.
“Looks like everything is good.” I said once I was content with everything.
I quickly grabbed a shower and brushed my teeth, I didn’t want to be one of those jerks who goes to a massive public event smelling like a dumpster and sweaty BO.
I was dressed in a long sleeve red hooded T Shirt with a black button up short sleeve shirt over top of that. A pair of black shorts with a gray belt.
I quickly went over my mental checklist one last time, once I was sure everything was 100 percent I grabbed my backpack which had Zorua’s face on it as I absolutely loved the tricky fox Pokemon, before locking the door.
I climbed down the stairs from the 5th floor of my apartment building, when I noticed the parcel box was full with the tab that signified my apartment being raised.
“A package?” I muttered before my eyes widened in realization, “Oh that Zorua life size doll I ordered.” I opened my mailbox and grabbed the key that was inside and opened the parcel box and pulled out a medium large square bog.
“Displacement Co?” I muttered when I saw who the return address was from, “Huh I could have sworn that wasn’t who I ordered this from.” then again this was a service I had done through Amazon.
I quickly slipped the package into my backpack as I didn’t feel like walking all the way back up to my apartment just to put the package down. I Went over to the corner of the apartment building where the storage lockers were and opened mine and pulled out my bike and helmet.
Once I was sure my helmet was on securely I got onto my back before getting on the book and pushing off pedaling towards the convention building.
After around a 45 minute bike ride I finally made it to the convention building. I put the bike into the bike rack, grabbed a pair of thick chains and lock and secured my ride.
“I’d like to buy a ticket please.” I say to the clerk managing the front counter.
“Of course sir, that’ll be $50.” The Clerk tells me.
“Here you go.” I say pulling out my wallet and handing them the bills.
“Thank you and here’s your ticket.” The Clerk says handing me a receipt and a ticket.
I entered the building ready for my first ever convention.
I noticed a few people around who were cosplaying as various MLP characters, while some wore the Canterlot High ears and tail.
“Darn I should have worn a cosplay as well, maybe I can find out where they sell the ears and tail.” I said to myself as I began to wander around, half exploring half looking for a place that might sell the pep outfit.
There were a few interesting booths as I walked around, Like a magic show that was run by Trixie, Fluttershy’s petting zoo, Discord’s Joke corner and many other character themed ones.
“That was fun.” I said as I left from the small segment of magic tricks that was done by an in character Trixie cosplayer, looking at the time I decided to get lunch at a Sugarcube corner booth.
I got myself a salad with “Hay fries” and a donut for lunch with a drink of chocolate milk.
After I ate I saw a nearby directory that said where the general location of every booth was, so looking up the area of the booths in the area marked Ponyville Market I grabbed my bag and cleaned up my trash from lunch and began making my way over there.
I saw a few interesting “Shops” like apple goodies run by Granny Smith, a Herbal Shop ran by Zecora and a costume shop that was ran a bit ironically by a Chrysalis cosplayer, but one shop in the corner stood out to me the most as it was a simple table with a cloth on it being manned by a person in a hooded cloak making it hard to judge their gender.
“What is that booth?” I muttered, looking around I noticed that no one else was even sparing the eerie booth even a passing glance.
I felt myself being drawn to it so I walked over to the booth.
“Good evening.” The voice of the cloaked merchant came out in a bit of a raspy tone, I noticed they had a mask on that was like Death Gun from SAO.
“What are you selling over here.” I asked looking at the table seeing a bunch of items from various fandoms like anime, DC, Marvel and video games that I was sure had not been on the table before.
“Please feel free to look around.” The merchant says with a hiss.
I nodded at the merchant browsing the nicnacs, I saw Roxas’ Oblivion and Oathkeeper Keyblades, Ben Ten’s Omnitrix, Cloud’s Buster Sword, a Green Lantern Ring, a Devil Fruit.
“Wow you got quite the collection here.” I commented as my eyes browsed the selection before something caught my eye.
It was a set of silver earrings with a square tip with a circular sphere at the base that was connected to four prongs.
“The Vongola Mist Earrings.” I said picking them up.
“Ahh I see you're a fan of the classic Mafia anime.” The Merchant says.
I looked at the earrings inspecting them, “This would be good for my Mukuro Cosplay I was thinking about doing for my next convention cosplay.” I muttered to myself before speaking aloud. “How much for the earrings.” I asked.
“That will be $120.” The merchant says.
“A Hundred and twenty?!” I was a bit shocked at how pricey that’ll be.
The merchant stares at me for a bit, “Tell you what kid, since I like you I’ll make you a deal.”
“Really?” I said a bit hopefully.
The Merchant gave a hiss, “Since you are the first person to buy from me and you seem like a big fan of Reborn I’ll give you a small discount for $100 what do you say.”
I bit my lip a bit, it was still a bit pricey but I doubt I was gonna get any better than that, plus the ear rings were very high quality almost as if they were the real thing ripped straight out of the series itself.
“Deal.” I said handing him the money.
“Thank you for your patronage.” The Merchant said, handing me the earrings.
“And thank you for the earrings.” I say taking them
I went to put them on when I stopped.
“What’s wrong?” The Merchant asked in a tone that almost seemed eager.
I was struck with an Idea, I set my bag down and pulled out the package with the Zorua doll and ripped it open pulling out the plushie.
“Wait what are you doing?” The merchant said in a bit of panic.
Not noticing his tone I put the Mist Earrings on the ears of the plushie.
“Wait Stop!” The Merchant yelled in fear before my world was enveloped in a bright explosion.
My body felt like it was burning in agony, my eyes were still stinging from the bright flash of light.
“Oh, Oh dear what happened to you.” a soft spoken voice speaks through the haze.
“W-Who.” I weakly tried to speak before going unconscious fully.

I groaned as I felt myself regain consciousness sitting up in a bed that was extremely fluffy.
“Where am I?” I muttered looking around at the huge room.
Suddenly the door to the room opened and in walked a teenage girl with bright yellow skin and long flowing pink hair wearing a white blouse and green skirt who was carrying a tray with some fruits on it.
My eyes widened in recognition as I knew very well who this person was, “Fluttershy?” I muttered seeing the EG counterpart of the shy element of kindness.
“Hmm.” Fluttershy says as my murmuring gains her attention, “Oh you’re awake young one how are you feeling.”
I cracked a kink in my neck, “Can’t complain.”
“Oh you can talk.” Fluttershy squeaked in surprise.
I raised an eyebrow, “I’m xx years old, Is talking really that surprising?”
“Oh my mistake sorry, I just assumed you were young due to how tall you were.” Fluttershy mutters out trailing off at the end but for some reason I could hear her perfectly.
“What do you mean I’m 6’ 4’’ I tell her.
“Really, not that I want to call you a liar or anything but” Fluttershy mutters holding out a mirror to me.
My curiosity was piqued so I leaned forward to look at it and my eyes widened, reflected in the mirror was a young boy standing at about 2’ 4’’ with black spiky hair with the appearance of fox ears with red highlights and red eyebrows, green eyes and a black fox tail.
“Wait what?!” I yelped out in shock looking over my own body now realizing it was true my body had changed into something else completely, but it was weird it was like a weird amalgamation of Zorua and the Arcobaleno from Reborn.
I froze...Oh
“How could I be so stupid.” I muttered facepalming.
I had read hundreds of displacement fics of Fimfiction each with the scenario of buying something from The Merchant where they all got displaced as the character who held the item they bought.
“Maybe there’s some kind of perception filter around them so you don’t realize they’re dangerous until it’s too late. But if I got the Vongola Earrings why did I not turn into Mukuro or Chrome at least since that was what I bought from the merchant. Then again the package I got the Zorua from was called Displacement Co. Maybe that was another cursed item as well, since I didn’t open it at first it delayed the trigger on the doll so when I put the earrings on the doll it affected the curse of both which is why that explosion happened.” I muttered to myself in one breath sitting down on the bed grasping my head in panic
I felt myself get wrapped up in a warm hug, blushing a bit as my head was slightly pushed into fluttershy’s chest, “It’s alright.” she says in a kind voice.
I looked up at her in surprise
Fluttershy looks down at me with her kind eyes, “I may not fully understand what’s going on here but you looked like you needed some kindness.” she tells me.
I smiled in genuine greatness, “Thanks…..” I trailed off as it would be weird to know her name.
“I’m Fluttershy.” Fluttershy says smiling.
I was a bit shocked Fluttershy was talking to me for as long as she was in a tone that didn’t stutter and go extremely soft, perhaps my new…. Let's call it arcobaleno form as well as the fox like features from Zorua were close enough to an animal that she was more at ease around me.
“Pleased to meet you Fluttershy I’m..” My words choked in my throat I physically could not say my name, oh I could still remember my true name but it was like the access to it was buried deep in the darkness of my mind, I gave a mental sigh of defeat knowing that I would have to go by a different name then my true one, but did I go my Zorua or Mukuro, after thinking it over for a second I came to a decision.
“Zorua Dokuro, call me Rua for short .” I tell her.
“Pleased to meet you Rua.” Fluttershy says giving me a bop on the nose before I felt an additional weight on the bed and got a face full of white fur.
“Mpgh.” I muffle out.
“Oh Angel Bunny.” Fluttershy says pulling the bunny off of me and setting him down beside me.
“Oh aren’t you cute.” I tell the bunny as it sniffs me.
“I’m glad Angel Bunny seems to like you.” Fluttershy says.
“You seem like a big fan of Animals.” I compliment her.
“Oh yes, I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes, I just find them so cute and cuddly. In fact I spend most of my time volunteering at the Animal Shelter to take care of the Animals there.” Fluttershy tells me.
I sat there in thought for a moment, “Would you like some help.” I offered her.
Fluttershy looked at me in surprise, “Are you sure?” she asked.
I nodded, “Consider it a thank you for watching over me.” I tell her
Fluttershy waves her arms, “Oh that was nothing really.”
I smiled at her, “I insist plus all the animals deserve a good home don’t they.” I say playing to her weakness.
Fluttershy pauses for a bit in hesitation before nodding, “Your right Rua those little ones do deserve a good home, would you be willing to help me out when I pass out fliers at school?” she asks me.
“School?” I asked curiously.
“Yes Canterlot High.” Fluttershy states.
I nodded, “Sure I’d be glad to help.” I tell her.
I gave a small fanged grin, perfect by sticking with Fluttershy I could hopefully learn when I exactly was in terms of the Equestria Girls timeline.
Fluttershy grabbed her backpack sticking in a small stack of posters and some school supplies before she had Angel Bunny and two other animals jump inside, “Are you ready to go?” she asks me.
‘Kufufufu.’ I chuckled in amusement before hopping up onto Fluttershy’s shoulder.
“Eep.” Fluttershy squeaks out from the unexpected weight on her shoulder before quickly adjusting.
“Right then Fluttershy Allons-Y.” I tell her with a fanged smirk.
“Allons-Y?” Fluttershy asks looking at me.
I blushed a bit, “Sorry it means Let’s Go I just have sort of a habit to say that.
Fluttershy smiles, “Don’t worry I Find it Kind of Cute, Allons-Y Rua.” she says back
I gave her a smile as the two of us left Fluttershy’s home heading towards Canterlot High and the beginning of my new life as a Displaced Mist Guardian of Equestria.

“Wooah.” I muttered in awe as I took in the sight of the Canterlot high building.
The two story U shaped building with the spherical dome on top surrounded by large open grassy fields with a statue of a pony in front which held one of the two known portals between this world and Equestria, seeing it in the show did absolutely no justice to the description of it.
“Welcome to Canterlot High.” Fluttershy tells me.
I nodded, “Right so where do we begin?” I asked hopping off her shoulder.
Fluttershy opens her back pack and hands me a stack of papers, “Would you mind helping me out by passing out fliers.” she asks me.
I took the stack, “Sure.” I say before walking off to a different part of the school ground.
While Fluttershy went to hand out fliers for the shelter in front of the school, I went around back to the parking lot to handle the students who may have come in their cars.
There weren't many students coming in yet on this side so I decided to sit down against a tree nearby.
“I can’t believe so much has happened.” I muttered to myself, since I no longer had Fluttershy’s calming presence around me I was fully hit by the reality of my sudden Isekai trip.
“I..I..” I curled in upon myself shuddering and hiccuping, “I can’t believe it’s all gone, what did I do to deserve this? I just wanted to have a nice relaxing time at a convention and meet some fellow fans.” I muttered into my knees.
‘Everyone, I’m so so sorry that I was such a jerk and remained so distant these past few years, Siren I hope you are well taken care of.’ I mentally apologized.
“I never even got to hold her.” I muttered thinking of my unborn niece, I had been looking forward to my role as an Uncle before this accursed event.
“Are you okay?” A soft bubbly voice speaks from above me.
“Huh?” I weakly murmur looking up from my arms, my eyes stinging from how much I’ve been crying to see a teen girl with light gray skin, pale olive hair and brilliant gold eyes wearing a blue shirt with a yellow tie and a green skirt, but the most distinct feature of hers was the fact her eyes were misaligned.
I blinked at seeing Equestria Girls counterpart of the best pony above me.
“Muffin?” Derpy says sitting down beside me and pulling me onto her lap holding a Muffin out to me.
I blinked, ‘Where did she get that Muffin from?’ I thought, “Huh?” was all I could say aloud.
“You seemed upset, I always eat a Muffin to cheer me up when I feel down.” Derpy says.
I look at the offered pastry for a bit, “Thank you.” I say graciously taking the Muffin and taking a small bite.
My eyes widened from shock at how good it tasted.
“Better?” Derpy asks me.
I nodded, “Thanks I feel alot better, I’m Zorua Dokuro, call me Rua.”
Derpy smiles kindly at me, “Glad to meet you Rua, I’m Derpy Hooves.” she says before her smile falters a bit, “Although some call me Ditzy Doo.”
I held out my hand, “Nice to meet you Derpy.”
Derpy takes my hand, “Do you mind if I ask why you were so down?” she inquires.
I faltered a bit while it would be good to talk about it for my own sake but I didn’t exactly feel like confronting the situation yet.
Derpy notices my hesitation, “It’s okay if you don’t want to talk about it now.”
I nodded, “Thanks, I know I need to talk about it for the sake of my mental health, but I’m just not ready to face it yet.”
“Do you mind if I ask you another question?” Derpy says.
I nodded, “Sure.”
“Are you part animal since you have that Fox Tail.” Derpy asks.
I paused, you know I never actually touched my tail only looked at it, thinking back it was strange Fluttershy never mentioned the tail I had as I could understand why she never mentioned the fox ears as that was just the style of my hair
I gave a sly smirk, “Wanna try touching it.”
Derpy ran her hand through the tail and I braced myself.
Only to feel nothing, I blinked as I saw Derpy’s hands touching the tail.
“Wow it feels so real, if you didn’t actually touch it you could easily mistake this tail as a real one.” Derpy says.
I felt stupid, ‘Of course that was why Fluttershy never said anything about the tail, while I was unconscious she must of realized that the Tail was an accessory of the outfit.’ I thought before speaking aloud, “I’m glad you like it, I love Foxes so I added a tail for my outfit.” I slightly lied as I never actually made this outfit.
Suddenly a bell rang over the area.
Derpy stood up, “I better get to classes, I hope to see you again Rua.” she says walking off.
I smiled feeling a little better as if a weight on my shoulders had been lifted.
“I guess I didn’t know how much I needed that.” I said running my hand through my head as my fingers caught on something briefly making a dangling sound.
Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw the Mist Earrings hanging their tauntingly.
My eyes narrowed, “You accursed things.” I growled out, trying to take them off, only to fall over in pain.
“Ow, Ow, Ow!” I winced from the sting of my nerves
“What happened?” I muttered in shock rubbing my ears.
I gently pulled on the earrings again feeling the sensation of touch.
“No way these are permanently on my ears.” I said in shock before laughing hollowly, “I guess I really am a Displaced.”
“I better find time to work on controlling my new powers as well.” I muttered to myself leaning back as my fingers brushed a paper.
I looked down and winced, “But first I should go apologize to Fluttershy for not being able to help her with passing out fliers.” I said gathering up the scattered papers.
I walked around the school to where Fluttershy said she would be.
“Hey Fluttershy!” I called out looking around for Fluttershy, only to see an empty courtyard.
“Did she already go inside?” I asked myself, if classes already started it would make sense for her to be inside.
Suddenly something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye.
From the base of the statue came a glow before two figures shot out of the base, one was a purple dog with green ears and a light green belly with a tuft of dark green fur on his head. The other was a girl with light purple skin with dark bluish purple hair with a streak of red wearing a blue blouse with a red bow tie and a purple skirt with a star marking on it.
“Mazel Tov.” I said looking up at the statue the two just emerged from before focusing my attention on the newcomers.
On the ground in front of me was Princess Twilight Sparkle and her loyal assistant Spike the Dragon.
“Looks like things are fully kicking off.” I muttered as Twilight Sparkle slowly began to get up.
“Uh Twilight?” Spike asks looking at the new form of his friend.
“Spike, you're not supposed to” Twilight questions her eyes blinking into focus and seeing the dog in front of her, “Spike are you a dog?”.
Spike spins around examining himself, “I think so, but I have no idea what you are” he says confused
Twilight brings her hands in front of her face for the first time, Screaming as she did.
I chuckled a bit, I always did find the reaction amusing when I watched it.
Twilight grasps her right hand and wiggles her fingers before wobbling her wrist.
Spike scratches his ear as he watches Twilight’s freakout.
“Twilight you have to get it together!” Spike says hoping to calm his Mother figure/friend down.
Twilight takes a deep breath in and out to calm down, “What does the rest of me look like?” she asks.
“Um.. like you, only not you. Your muzzle’s really small.” Spike says.
“My muzzle?” Twilight questions touching her nose.
“Are you gonna scream again?” Spike asks when he notices Twilight about to have another freakout.
Twilight shook her head
“Where are we?” Spike asked as the two of them looked at their surroundings.
“I don’t know.” Twilight tells him
I figured this was about as good a time as any to introduce myself to the princess of friendship.
“Kaosu.” I greeted walking up to the transformed Alicorn and Dragon.
“Ahh.” Twilight yelps falling onto her rear.
I smirked a bit in amusement at that.
“Woah, what are you?” Spike asks circling around me.
“I’m an Arcobaleno.” I tell the dragon dog calmly.
“An Arcobaleno, is that what I am?” Twilight asks, looking at her hands again.
“You’re not from around here are you.” I “Asked” Twilight..
Twilight begins sweating nervously, “No what do you mean I’m just a normal Arcobaleno like you.” she laughs nervously, her eyes darting around.
I gave a smirk, “First I saw the two of you emerge from that statue.” I said holding up a figure, “Second, You went into a panicked state when you first saw your hands meaning you have never seen them before.” I said holding up a second finger.
“So these are called hands?” Twilight muttered.
“And third, you think you’re called an Arcobaleno.” I say holding up my third finger.
“You mean I’m not an Arcobaleno?” Twilight asks confused.
I shake my head, “No you are what is called a Human, or Hairless Monkey I guess.” I muttered at the end.
“What is an Arcobaleno?” Twilight asks in a scholar mode.
“Consider it as a subspecies of Human.” I say cryptically, “Now it's your turn to explain.” I tell her.
Twilight looks at Spike a bit unsure.
“Might as well tell him Twilight he did see us come out after all, plus having some help in this unknown world would be useful towards accomplishing our task.” Spike says adding his two bits.
Twilight sighs, “Your right Spike.” she says before looking at me, “My name is Twilight Sparkle, I am a Alicorn princess who came from a land called Equestria to retrieve a crown that was stolen by a Unicorn named Sunset Shimmer, I have 3 days to do this task or else I’ll be trapped here for 30 Moons and Equestria will lose one of its greatest defenses.” she tells me.
I paused for a moment to let the info fake sink in before deciding on the best questions to ask, “Alicorn?” I asked first.
Twilight nodded, “Equestria is a world that is populated by various races like Diamond Dogs, Dragons, Griffons, Changelings but the majority of it is populated by Ponies who are all all divided into four different Sub categories.” she tells me.
I nodded at that.
“First there is Earth Ponies, second is Peasus, third is Unicorns and lastly are the Alicorns which is an amalgamation of all three.” Twilight explains.
“I see and what did you mean by your crown being the greatest defense?” I asked her.
“In Equestria there are six elements known as the Elements of Harmony, they consist of Honesty, Kindness, Generosity, Loyalty, Laughter and Magic, they help keep the balance of Harmony in Equestria and the Element of Magic sits in the crown that was stolen.”
“Sounds like the Flames of the Sky.” I muttered under my breath, “I see, this is indeed important. I'd be glad to help you out.” I tell Twilight.
Twilight stands up wobbling a bit, “Thanks umm…. I just realized I don’t know your name.” she says
‘Kufufufu’ I laughed with a grin, “It’s Zorua Dokuro, call me Rua.
“Nice to meet you Rua, I’m Spike.” Spike says waking up beside me.
“Pleasure Spike, and word of advice, keep quiet when it’s not just Twilight and I around.” I tell him.
“How come?” Spike asks confused.
I pat him on the back of the head, it felt weird to stand shoulder to shoulder with a dog, “It isn’t normal around here for a dog to talk like a normal Human.” I tell him.
Spike nods, “I understand.”
“This must serve as the gateway back to Equestria.” Twilight says sticking her hand through the mirror at the base as it shimmers, I could see that instead of a hand the reflection shown through the glass was a hoof.
Twilight shook her head, “We need to find my crown as soon as possible and get back there.” she says resolutely, “I suggest we start searching the castle first.” she says looking at the school
“Works for me.” Spike agrees
I couldn’t help the laugh that slipped out.
“What?” Twilight asks looking at me confused.
“You’ll soon see” I tell her teasingly.
Twilight shrugs before she got into a crouch as Spike hopped her back and I jumped on her head, Twilight took off across the High School courtyard on all fours.
“You do realize that Humans don’t normally walk like this right.” I asked her as if casually talking about the breeze.
Twilight stops walking, “What do you mean?” she asks.
Spike taps Twilight’s shoulder getting her attention.
The two look over to see a random pedestrian walking by with his dog on a leash.
“Yeah, I think Rua is correct. I don’t think this is how the new you is supposed to walk.” Spike says.
Twilight quickly jumps up, knocking Spike off, but I managed to remain in my place on her head as she smiles and tries to play her earlier walk off as a joke.
The man and Dog just stared at us before walking off.
“Woah, ah Woah.” Twilight stutters out as she takes a few wobbly steps trying to gain her balance, “Come on Spike I do not wanna be like this for longer then I have to.” she says using the railing to pull herself up the stairs.
“Well look on the bright side, you don’t have those pesky wings to worry about anymore.” Spike says trying to give Twilight a positive.
Twilight gives him a blank stare as she finally manages to figure out her new center of gravity and stand up straight.
“Looks like you got everything figured out.” I compliment her.
Twilight nods doing a hair flip and confidently strolling forward.
I realized what was gonna happen, “Wait Twilight that door’s not an…”
Twilight slams head first into the door rubbing her head in pain.
“Automatic one.” I finished.
Twilight blinks in confusion as she scrunches her face in concentration before it morphs into confusion, “My magic it isn’t working.”
“That makes sense, you don’t exactly have your horn.” Spike tells her.
“What?!” Twilight yelps out grasping her hair.
“We really need to find you a Mirror.” Spike says.
I bopped Twilight on the head, “Did you really not see your reflection when you stared at the portat in the mirror from before.” I asked her
Twilight paused at that before blushing, “Oops I guess I did, I was just too distracted to fully notice everything and take it in.”
“Well considering your whole body changed and the massive task of your mission it isn’t that far fetched to miss a few things.” I tell her.
Spike pushes open the door and the three of us go inside.
The whole hall was empty except for the three of us, various school spirit stuff was around, in the corner sat a trophy case.
“Just as boring as I remember it.” I commented to myself.
Twilight notices the Trophy Case and walks over to it, “What do you think Spike, other artifact’s she’s stolen from Equestria.” she asks.
Oh my gosh Twilights Naivety was just so adorable.
Twilight gasps seeing her reflection in the glass, “So this is what I fully look like as a Human.” she says fully taking in her appearance with a clear head fiddling with her hair and squeaking her teeth a bit.
Suddenly the bell rings and the whole hall was crowded with students.
“I must have been talking to Twilight longer then I thought.” I muttered to myself since a typical class period was 45 Minutes and before I met Twilight the first bell had just rung.
The swarm of Students knocked Twilight down as I hopped off onto the Lockers.
I watched as Twilight and Spike crawled out from under the sea of Students with Twilight landing at the foot of a Student.
‘Flash Sentry.’ I thought looking at the boy with narrowed eyes.
“Woah, You Okay?” Flash says offering Twilight his hand.
Twilight takes it and Flash helps her up as Twilight nods that she's okay.
“I don’t think this is a castle.” Spike says.
“Nope it’s a School.” I say from above them on top of the lockers.
“A School?!” Twilight says in a giddy tone.
“Indeed.” I said as I hopped back onto Twilight’s head as she went around exploring the school.
Suddenly as we were walking musing becan to cue up in the background.
“Okay where the hell is that music coming from?” I asked but got no response.
‘I’ve seen a place that’s quite like this.’ Twilight sang as she walked through the hallway observing the other students.
“How can I hear her voice when her lips aren’t moving?” I was even more confused.
‘Everything is turned around this crazy world is upside down.’ Twilight and Spike look at each other unsure.
‘Getting on my feet it’s the hand that I was dealt.’ Twilight trips and falls into her face.
“You okay?” I asked her in concern.
Twilight nods to show me that she is okay.
‘But I don’t have much time to fend, got to learn all that I can.’ Twilight stands up clenching her fists in resolve.
Twilight spends the next several moments observing various students doing their activities and behaviour.
‘They don’t use any magic or fly with any wings.’ Twilight peaks through a classroom door to look at the human counterpart of Cheerlie teaching a class.
‘I don’t get these funny clothes, Skinny legs or tiny nose.’ Twilight fiddles with her skirt for a bit.
‘Everything’s confusing when it seems so new, But I look a little closer and it starts to feel familiar too.’ Spike jumps into Twilight's arms just as the three human Cutie Mark Crusaders rush by causing Twilight and Spike to look at each other in confusion.
I frowned, wait would they be Cutie Mark Crusaders here, since the Cutie Mark was something that came from the magic back in Equestria that showed a Pony’s Special Talent would they even know that the term was, ah what ever I’m going to call the Human CMC Colors.
‘What a strange new world (What a strange new world)’ Twilight pushes open the bathroom door and walks in observing herself in the mirror.
“Um.. Twilight.” I said tapping her head
“Yeah Rua?” Twilight asks looking up at me.
Suddenly the door opens and a young boy is standing in the stall.
“You’re in the colt's room.” I say in a deadpan.
The boy yelps and slams the stall shut.
‘I’m trying to make heads or tails of this strange new world.’ Twilight bolts out of the restroom in embarrassment with Spike chasing after her.
‘Sorting through the small details of this strange new world.’ Twilight stands there trying to play off her embarrassing mistake.
‘What a strange new world’
Twilight and Spike were wandering through the halls while I still rode on her head.
“I’m really sorry.” A soft spoken voice I recognized.
“Fluttershy.” I muttered realizing this was when Sunset confronted her, I bit my lip cursing myself for failing to be around to protect her.
“I-I just found it and I thought I should give it to her.” Fluttershy stammers out.
Twilight’s ears perk up as she hears the soft spoken voice.
“I didn’t know you had dropped it.” Fluttershy says as Twilight and Spike peak their heads around the corner to see two girls in a confrontation.
“Well I did and I was about to get it before you swooped in and ruined everything!” Sunset scolds Fluttershy.
My eyes narrowed at that.
“You shouldn’t pick up things that don't belong to you.” Sunset says.
Fluttershy curls in on herself and brushes some hair out of her face.
“It doesn’t really belong to you either.” Fluttershy mutters.
Sunset slams her hand against the locker pinning Fluttershy, “EXCUSE ME!”
“N-Nothing.” Fluttershy says sliding down the wall.
“That’s what I thought, it’s as good as mine and you know it.” Sunset says bashing Fluttershy.
I clenched my fish in anger, I knew Sunset redeemed herself, in fact it was the events of Rainbow Rocks that lead me to develop a bit of a crush on her but right now I despised the fact she was harming the person who took care of me.
I could tell Twilight and Spike weren’t doing much better as Spike was growling and I could feel the tension in Twilight’s face.
“You really are pathetic, it’s no wonder your best friends are all dirty animals.” Sunset says before turning to leave the broken Fluttershy.
“HEY!” I called out.
“How dare you speak to her that way.” Twilight says stepping into the hallway.
“What did you say?” Sunset says turning to focus on us.
“I said how dare you speak to her that way!” Twilight says walking up to Sunset.
The two have a face off before Sunset smirks, “You two must be new here.” she says flicking Twilight’s chin.
“I can speak to anyone however I like.” Sunset says strutting through the hall glaring at a student who shuts themselves in their locker.
“Kufufufu, that’s an interesting thought Bacon head.” I say chuckling in amusement.
“B-B-BACON HEAD?!” Sunset says whirling around to face me in shock.
I can see Spike smirking at me from the corner of my eye.
Sunet stalks back up to me glaring at me, “You should watch what your brat says or else he might find himself in big trouble.” she tells Twilight before stalking off.
Twilight blushing slightly from the implication that I’m her child.
“I can’t believe you did that.” Fluttershy says in awe.
“I couldn’t just stand there.” Twilight tells Fluttershy
I hopped down from Twilight's head and walked over to Fluttershy
“Are you doing okay?” I say in concern.
“I’m okay, thanks for your concern Rua, but did you really have to do that?” Fluttershy says in worry.
“Do what?” Twilight asks curiously.
“It’s just that, no one ever stands up to Sunset Shimmer.” Fluttershy tells us.
“Sunset Shimmer?!” Twilight gasps in shock looking in the direction where Sunset went.
“You’ve heard of her?” Fluttershy asks.
“They have a bit of a history together.” I tell Fluttershy in a vague explanation.
“I don’t think I’ve seen you around before.” Fluttershy tells Twilight.
“Makes sense, this is her first day transferring to this school.” I say leaning against the locker.
“Yes, I just transferred from another school, My name’s Twilight.” Twilight says picking up on where I was going doing a little trot with her feet and hands.
“I’m...Fluttershy.” Fluttershy squeaks out.
“Sorry, what was that.” Twilight asks.
“It’s Fluttershy.” Fluttershy squeaks out getting further away.
“It sounds like you’re saying Fluttershy but how can that…” Twilight says confused looking at Spike.
Fluttershy notices Spike through her hair, “Oh my goodness who’s this sweet little guy!” she says, rushing forward almost knocking Twilight down.
“That’s Spike my Dr...” Twilight says almost letting the truth slip out
“Dog.” I remind her.
“Dog.” Twilight corrects herself.
“Oh, he’s so cute!” Fluttershy says reaching into her bag and pulling out a cookie, “Go on eat up little pup.”
Spike looks at the cookie a bit unsure.
I gave him an encouraging nod.
Spike takes a small testing bite of the cookie before he eagerly devours it.
“Aw wouldn’t you just give anything to know what they're really thinking?” Fluttershy asks as she watches Spike eat.
“He usually just tells me.” Twilight says.
I slapped my hand against my face in a groan.
“What do you mean?” Fluttershy asks confused looking at Twilight.
Spike makes silence motions at Twilight reminding her I said dog’s don’t talk in this world.
“Arf Arf Arf.” Spike says fake barking wagging his tail.
“Oh uh never mind.” Twilight says playing off her mistake as a joke, “Sunset Shimmer said you picked something up, something that belonged to her, it wasn’t a crown was it?” she asks getting back into the meat of things.
“How did you know?” Fluttershy asks standing up
“Uh.. Lucky Guess?” Twilight asks with an awkward laugh.
“What did you do with that crown anyway?” I asked Fluttershy.
“This morning while I was passing out fliers for the Animal Shelter like I do every wednesday I felt something hit my head, I looked down and saw the crown that was given to the Princess of the fall formal dance. I have no idea why it was out in the courtyard but I didn’t want anything to happen to it so I figured the best thing to do would be to return it to Principal Celestia.” Fluttershy explains as she scratches Spike’s ears.
“So that’s where Sunset got the fake crown from.” I muttered.
“Principal Celestia, she’s the ruler here?” Twilight says confused.
“You… could say that” Fluttershy says feeling a bit awkward.
“Well the Principal and Vice Principal do technically make the rules of a school making them the de facto leaders of sorts.” I commented.
Fluttershy nodded at that, “Principal Celestia and Vice-Principal Luna do make the rules here.”
“Where is she now?” Twilight asks.
“Probably in her office.” Fluttershy says before Twilight and Spike run off in separate directions.
“Three, Two, One.” I counted down using three fingers.
Twilight and Spike come back realizing they don’t know where to go.
“Third door on your left.” Fluttershy says in amusement pointing the right way.
“Thank you.” Twilight says running off.
“I’ll see you later Fluttershy.” I tell her before running after the equestrians.
“Oh wait!” Fluttershy calls out after us, “You’re not really supposed to have pets on school grounds might wanna tuck him into your backpack it’s what I do.” she tells Twilight about Spike. Before turning around as Angel Bunny, a Kitten and a bird poke their heads out.
The bird lands on my head.
I looked up at the bird, “Looks like I have a case of Head Pigeons.”
“They just get so lonely at home all day.” Fluttershy says cuddling the rabbit and cat.
“Oh, okay thank you.” Twilight says about the advice.
The Bell rings.
“Oh no, I’m late for class.” Fluttershy says jumping up, putting the Animals back into her bag and running off.
“Shall we?” I asked Twilight.
Twilight nods, “Let's go meet this Principal Celestia.
