The Counter Attack (Edit)
August 5th,2019 6:16 p.m Canterlot
Sunset was sitting in her room, writing to Twilight in her book. Asking her if she was alright, the reply was immediate and the tone was frantic
Sunset, if you're planning on taking a trip back to Equestria,Don't! Me and the girls ended up somewhere that was traumatizing when we were going through the Mirror. I don't know what caused or if something happened to it but the Earth that we went to was not the one that me and you know. I can't even describe it. Just do not come back until I figure out what went wrong,

Sunset confused and worried about her Friend, so far there had been little to no problems with the statue. But what did Twilight see that had caused her to send a warning?
Sunset got out her phone and began to type and message her friends to come to the statue tomorrow to investigate
August 6th,2019 10:32 a.m Canterlot High School
Sunset, Rainbow, Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight, and Pinkie pie were standing by the statue that was in front of their school waiting for Rarity to show up
Rainbow getting impatient with her arms crossed,let out an annoyed sigh
"What's taking Rarity forever to get here? You think she be here thirty or even forty-five minutes ago for being a person that's never late to anything major" She said
Applejack decided to answer the athlete
"Aah bet she gettin her hair done no doubt" Ths Farmer said tad bit irritated
Fluttershy added by saying
"Well it is in a way something big, i mean its not every day you get to travel to another world" She said as her name implies shyly.
"Well why don't we just leave a note and go through the portal, then inform her what happened?" Rainbow saying her plan out loud
"Well we need to know what happened, and I don't know if something bad has happened to Equestria, so we need everyone here" Sunset said explaining the plan.
"Terribly sorry darlings" The woman of the hour walked with a apologetic look on her face
"Bout time you got gere" Applejack said
"We were waiting for you" Rainbow voicing everyone's thoughts
"Yes,I know and I am very sorry for that, I had to get a couple orders out for some clients and do my hair" Fashionista explaining her excuse
"Well we were half right" Rainbow muttered
"Well whatever the reason is doesn't matter, what
matters is that everyone's here and we got a mission to do. Twilight and possibly all of
Equestria might be in trouble"
Gaining nods from everyone, Pinkie decided to make announcement
"A road trip to another world! Or is it a our first trip to another World party? I'll figure it out eventually" The bubble haired was left pondering and thinking.
"This is a tough cookie to crack" she continued
Twilight deciding to ignore her hyper friend's shenanigans
"Is everyone prepared to go?" She asked, getting nods from everyone
Fluttershy raised her hand and said "Is there anything we should know Before we go?"
Sunset answered by saying
"Besides the basics of magical stuff happening, mostly be prepared to walk on all fours"
Getting another nod.
",Any more questions?" Silence until Pinkie decided to raise her hand
"No, I don't know what's their favorite type cake" Sunset answered the unspoken question, knowing that was going to be on party girl's mind. Pinkie slowy lowering her hand
"Alright lets get going" Sunset declared.
One by one they went in, going against Twilight's warning, not knowing they are about to witnesses an gruesome event.
August 6th, 1915 Northeastern Poland. Near Osoweic Fortress
The Main seven opened thier eyes to see a desolate wasteland of mud dead trees.
And notice they hadn't changed at all.
The first one to break the silence was Rainbow
"Uuhh shouldn't we be ponies?" Everyone thinking the same thing
Bewildered Sunset said her thoughts out loud
"This doesn't make any sense, we should have transformed and be in a room, not in the middle of nowhere" Sunset with building fear in her voice.
Fluttershy realizing something important
"Wait if there isn't a mirror then how are going to get back?" Everyone looked back and saw there was no mirror nor Statue.
This caused panic in the group until Twilight decided to attempt to calm everyone's fear
"If we panic now things are gonna get worse, we'll come up with a plan and get through this" She stated
"What if we aren't able to get back?" Rarity said with a worried look
Rainbow back up Twilight's statement by saying
"I agree with the egghead on this" a small 'hey' from Twilight can be heard
", if we panic we won't get back,besides Twi and Sunset are smart enough to come up with a plan, we'll get through this" She finished with a reassuring smile gaining smiles from said Twilight and Sunset. The moment was interrupted by a fain shout
"Masken auf!"
Everyone paused to think of what they heard.
"Everyone heard that right?" Rainbow asked.
"Indeed darling, it sound as if it was German" Rarity said
"Hows ould you knows its sound German?" Applejack asked
"When you get toursits and investors from around the world, you pick up some languages" Rarity answered the country girl
"Shush, do you hear that?" Sunset said silencing everyone
A faint noise could be heard, then they saw it.
A green moving cloud of gas was moving menacingly
"Is a that poison gas?!" Twilight exclaimed
"But where's it going?" Rainbow said. They looked around and saw a damaged fortress with dugouts near the fort, men in green uniforms with caps on looking at the cloud of death moving towards the soldiers. But the oddest feature was that their skin was almost pale but not entirely white
"Its gonna kill them.." Fluttershy said with a quivering voice
"They're soldiers, so they probably got some gas masks" Pinkie said trying to reassure her. But that was quickly dusted as they saw the green uniformed soldiers wrap white rags around their mouths.
"Whut good is that gouna do?" Applejack questioned with a curious but still terrified look.
Then Twilight came to a conclusion.
"I b-believe we time travelled but at the same time travelled to a different dimension" She voicing her question
"What do you mean darling?" Rarity not understanding asked
"If I remember right, Gas masks were made in 1915 or earlier" she continued on her explanation
",And if one side is using gas then this puts us in the First World War" she ended her conclusions with her pupils shrinking.
"We're all gonna die!" Pinkie cried out
"Pinkie we aren't gonna die" Sunset said with an annoyed look. And pointed to Fluttershy, who started crying", and you made Fluttershy cry"
Pinkie feeling guilt went over to hug her saying 'it'll be alright shy' over and over
"Im sorry shy" The party starter said, she didn't get a verbal respone but a physical one.
"But that does bring a good point, they look like us but not us at the same time" Sunset said
"How so?" Rarity asked
"Well they aren't multicol-" Sunset's explanation interrupted by the rainbow haired athlete.
"Uuh girls, look" Rainbow pointed at the Green uniformed soldiers and they could see the horror.
The gas was over the soldiers. They began coughing and hacking up their lungs, blood going over their uniforms and the ground. The white rags they wore over their mouths had been stained. Followed by flocks of birds falling to the ground.
Fluttershy fainted, Rarity vomited her breakfast, Pinkie had a depressed look, and the others were either looking green or frightened from the scene unfolding in front of them.
"How c-could they do this.." Sunset said, not wanting to take her eyes away from the act, but her mind wanted to turn away and go home.
A whistle was heard, followed by a sound of marching feet across the muddy terrain.
The girls looked over and saw the other side, gray uniforms with brown spike helmets on their heads, adorn with gas masks on their face. Slowly making their way to the dead or dying green uniformed men's line.
"This...this is horrible" Pinkie said with a depressed tone.
Rarity was trying to regain her breathing, said in a hoarse voice
"I agree with you on that Pinkie".
Applejack was busy trying to wake up Fluttershy.
"Come on sugercube, it finnaly o'ver" She said in a somewhat of a motherly tone
Fluttershy getting up slowly, looking a bit pale.
"How... How could someone do this.." Saying her heartbroken question.
Twilight wanting to get back at the previous subject turned and looked at Sunset, and asked.
"How are we-" She was interrupted by a scream. No multiple screams, not ones of despair or fear. But screams of Rage.
The Gray uninformed men and the Main 6 stop what they were doing to look at where the screams where coming from. The Fortresse's defenders were still alive.
To much of everyone's horror,the some of the "dead men" were getting up from where they had 'died'. Machine guns opened fire followed by a small thunder that stop, followed by a war cry.
"They should have been dead..." Twilight said
"Zombies!" Pinkie exclaimed
"I.. doubt they are" Sunset doubted with fear still in her voice.
The gray men started to move back then full on sprinted back while the masks they wore didn't show fear. Their body language did.
Then followed by the "dead men". Looking at them closely, was a mistake.
The bloody rags and bandages hung close to their bodies, Eyes red and crying blood. Coughing horribly, some of the dead men crawling towards the gray men or even giving chase to the attackers.
The Gray men didn't even fire back, getting trampled by each over or over barbed wire. The girls still in shock over what they had just witness, to call what this a nightmare would be a understatement.
Slowly,one by one each of the dead men fell to the ground or bended on one knee, losing the strength
"Is this... Finally over." Fluttershy asked
"I... think it is" Sunset regaining her composure
"I want to go home now" Rarity dropping her usual mannerisms
As if God heard her plea, the Statue appeared right behind them. Not wanting to miss the opportunity to go home ran for it. The portal closing behind them.
