Will you marry me?
When Luna and Twilight Sparkle returned to Canterlot Castle, Twilight Sparkle intended to go to the castle’s balcony to lower the moon and even add stars before following Luna to her room. Luna watched Twilight Sparkle lower the moon with a smile. The sky changed from light blue to orange and from orange to dark blue. Luna couldn’t help but smile because the game had turned, because when Luna spent her nights with Twilight, she lowered the moon on the balcony and Twilight Sparkle watched with admiration. Now, it was Twilight Sparkle that lowered the moon and Luna watched it. Although inside Luna seems a little sad because she can’t go down and raise the moon anymore, she also felt grateful that she was no longer a princess, since when she spent an entire night in the world of dreams it left her in a bad mood.
When Twilight Sparkle ended, she left the balcony for dinner before entering the dream world. Luna followed. “Love, what are you going to do after dinner?”
Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna. “I will go to the world of dreams, and when I finish I will go to sleep if it isn’t for a whole night of real duties.”
Luna in response just nodded.
When they arrived at the throne room, there was already food on the table, it looked like a banquet. It had pasta, salad, rice and beans, boiled potatoes, sandwich, and more. Twilight Sparkle sat down first, then it was Luna. Luna sat on the right side of Twilight. Twilight Sparkle ate a daffodil sandwich with daisies while Luna ate pasta.
Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna. “Luna, how many days do you plan to stay with me here?”
Luna swallowed the piece of pasta before answering. “For two days.”
Twilight Sparkle was concerned. “But are you going to visit me again?”
“Of course I will visit you again, love,” replied Luna. “Just because Celestia and I are retired doesn’t mean that I will not miss seeing you.”
Twilight Sparkle was curious about something. “Where’s Celestia at?”
“She’s in a hotel in Manehattan, love,” replied Luna.
“Were you and Celestia at the Manehattan hotel before you came here, or was she in the hotel after you came to Canterlot?” asked Twilight Sparkle.
“My sister and I were in Manehattan before i came here.”
“How do you and Celestia feel about living in Manehattan?”
“Well, Manehattan is almost the same as Canterlot. It is a city, only it isn’t for nobles like Canterlot,” replied Luna.
“Would you let me visit you two in Manehattan?”
“Of course, love. Just because we’re retired doesn’t mean we don’t want your company.”
Twilight Sparkle smiled. “Thank you, Luna. For a moment I thought I couldn’t because of you and Celestia wanting to have time just for you two.”
“Celestia and I like to have time for both of us, but we would never deny your company,” replied Luna, before returning to eat.
Twilight Sparkle watched Luna for a few seconds before eating again.
When Twilight Sparkle and Luna finished eating, they went to the bedroom. Luna went to sleep and Twilight Sparkle went to the dream world to protect the ponies from nightmares. Upon reaching the room, Luna let out a breath when she saw her marefriend’s room. The bedroom was dark purple, the bed blanket was purple with a pink six-pointed star design, and the pillow was white. Luna approached the bed to sit. “Twilight, this room is beautiful.”
“Thank you, Luna,” Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna. “Rarity helped me choose the style for the castle.”
“She has a good taste for decoration,” said Luna.
“If Rarity were here with us, she would be grateful for your compliment, Luna. She chose the decoration according to my tastes,” said Twilight Sparkle.
“I see that the color purple and pink is one of your favorite colors.”
“Yes. But my first favorite color is purple, pink is in second place.”
“Love, when you don’t have to enter the world of dreams, do you have time to watch the night sky?”
“Yes. But when I finish stopping the nightmares of my subjects, I go to sleep, since I spend most of the time awake.”
Luna was concerned. “Can you stay up most of the day after staying in the dream world all night?”
“At first, I get very sleepy, but after I have breakfast, I manage to wake up a little,” replied Twilight Sparkle. “I am thankful that Spike helps me with real duties when I am not so wide awake.”
Luna smiled. She was also happy that Twilight had Spike. Because without Spike, Twilight would be really running alone.
When they finished eating, Twilight Sparkle and Luna went to the bedroom. Twilight Sparkle went to enter the world of dreams and Luna went to watch the night sky. Although Luna was no longer the princess of the night, she still liked to stay up during the nights. Since the night was her favorite time. When they arrived in the room, Twilight Sparkle gave Luna a hug. “See you tomorrow morning, Luna. Have a good night.”
Luna returned the hug. “Thank you, love. For you too.”
When they left the hug, Luna watched Twilight Sparkle go to the balcony to use her magic to enter the world of dreams.
When Twilight Sparkle entered the dream world, Luna went to the balcony to watch the night sky. She sat on her hips and placed her hooves on the balcony while watching the night sky. Luna started to think about what her sister was doing at the moment. Would Celestia be awake? Or was she sleeping?
Luna started to wonder if she should send a letter to Celestia to find out how Celestia was doing. Should she? She started to think. Although Celestia was the princess of the day, she had to sleep early because she had to get up early to start the day. But when they retired, Celestia stayed awake for a long time enjoying herself. And if Celestia was awake, it would mean that she wouldn’t mind receiving a letter from Celestia. She made her decision. Luna made ink, quill and parchment appear before she started writing.
When she was finished, she looked at the newly written letter. “Dear sister, how are things in Manehattan? Are you having fun even though i’m not with you? What are you doing while I’m at Canterlot castle? I wait for your answer. Signed Luna. Note: If you’re sleeping, I’m sorry for waking you up.”
Luna rolled up the parchment and made it disappear with a fire, she just hoped that the letter wasn’t sent to Spike. Luna sat on the balcony again, waiting patiently for Celestia’s response.
It didn’t take long for the answer to come. A rolled parchment came close to Luna and fell to the balcony floor. Luna took the parchment, unrolled it and began to read. “Hi, Luna. Things are super fun in Manehattan. Although you’re not here, I’m having fun. The moment you sent me the letter, I am at a party that is taking place in Manehattan. I wait your return. Signed Celestia.”
Luna smiled at what she read. She didn’t know if it was right to feel that, but she was grateful to be in Canterlot, since partying wasn’t something she liked to attend, not even in her retirement.
Luna looked out over the balcony and saw a telescope on her right, and it was the same telescope she used to see if there were any threats at Canterlot during the wedding of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. She put her eye close to the eyepiece to get a closer look at the night sky and realized she had several constellations. She liked all that Twilight Sparkle did, but what caught her attention most was the constellations of a six-pointed star surrounded by five stars next to the moon. Luna smiled. She never imagined that her marefriend made a constellation of her Cutie Mark and placed her close to the moon. It looks like Twilight Sparkle wanted to dedicate this to Luna.
Suddenly, Twilight Sparkle appeared. Luna smiled as she stood up. “Love! Have you finished?”
Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna. “Yes, Luna. Now I plan on sleeping to get up early to get the sun up.”
“Can I sleep with you, Twilight?” asked Luna.
“Sure, Luna.” Twilight Sparkle and Luna entered the room, lay on the bed and slept hugging each other.
When Luna woke up, she realized that Twilight Sparkle was no longer in bed. She was worried. Where’s Twilight? When she looked at the balcony, she calmed down, knowing that Twilight Sparkle had woken up to get the sun up and also to have breakfast. Luna got up from the bed and left the room. She intended to go to the dining room for breakfast.
Upon arriving in the dining room, Luna saw Twilight Sparkle and Spike eating pancakes. Luna approached Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle heard footsteps and looked where she heard the sound. But a smile soon appeared when she saw that it was just Luna. “Good morning, Luna. Sleep well?”
“Yes, love,” Luna sat beside her of Twilight. “Why didn’t you wake me up for breakfast?”
Twilight Sparkle blushed as she looked to the side. “It’s just ... I didn’t want to wake you up ... and on top of that ... you’re cute when you sleep.”
Luna blushed at the compliment as she smiled and looked away. “T-thanks, Twilight. No one has ever said that to me before.”
“So it looks like I’m the first,” Twilight looked at Luna. “Luna, would you like to meet me in Ponyville after my royal duties?”
“Yes, Twilight. Will it be during the day or during the night?” asked Luna.
“It will be in the night, after I finish protecting my subjects from nightmares,” said Twilight Sparkle.
“Are we going to take anything?”
“I was thinking about us having a picnic in the moonlight,” replied Twilight.
Luna smiled. “What a great idea, Twilight!”
When they finished eating, Gallus went to Twilight Sparkle. “Princess Twilight! They need you in the throne room.”
“Thanks for letting me know. You can return to your post. I’m already going.” Twilight Sparkle stood up as she watched Gallus leave the room. She turned to Luna. “Luna, I need to go. Can you be okay without me?”
Luna looked a little sad that Twilight had to go. But she knew that Twilight had real duties, so she knew she should accept that. “Yes, love.”
Twilight Sparkle gave Luna a hug. Luna returned the hug. When Twilight came out of the embrace, she left the room. Luna also decided to leave the room. She intended to take a walk in Ponyville to see how the ponies were doing. She intended to fly to Ponyville.
Luna was now on a balcony. She spread her wings before leaving the balcony and starting to fly. While flying, several foals and mares watched Luna fly past them. Many ponies were happy to see Luna again, even though she retired. Luna was happy that her ex-subjects were happy to see her again.
Upon arriving in Ponyville she landed on the floor while looking around. She didn’t know what she was going to do until night came. She decided to take a walk around the small town. She looked around and saw that most of the stallions and mares were elderly while the colts and fillies grew. Of course, this didn’t surprise her, since it was something that always happened to everypony.
Luna saw Pinkie Pie bouncing happily while she had a basket in her mouth. Luna was surprised at how Pinkie Pie’s appearance was. Pinkie’s mane expanded and had party decorations and a teddy bear in the mane. But she wondered why Pinkie Pie had a basket. She approached Pinkie Pie. “Pinkie!”
Pinkie Pie stopped skipping and looked at Luna. “Oh. Hi, Luna.”
“Why do you have a basket in your mouth?” asked Luna.
Pinkie Pie placed the basket on the grass to speak. “Me and my friends are going to have a picnic in the park.”
Luna was happy. She never had a picnic before. And who knows if she had a picnic with her Twilight friends, she would know what her picnic with Twilight would be like? “Can I come along?”
“Sure.” Pinkie Pie picked up the basket and started skipping again. Luna followed.
After a few minutes, she and Pinkie Pie finally arrived at the park. Luna was curious about something. “Pinkie, how’s your life?”
Pinkie Pie looked at Luna. “Cheese Sandwich and I got married and had a daughter.”
“Really? What is her name?” asked Luna.
“Lil’ Cheese,” replied Pinkie Pie.
Upon arriving at the picnic site, Luna was surprised to see her other friends: Rainbow Dash had a hairstyle similar to Spitfire’s and a coat, Applejack had an orange scarf around her neck and her mane was curled, Fluttershy was with the mane fastened with a blue flower clip and Rarity wore a shiny dark blue coat and parts of the mane were white and a light pink Unicorn with a Cutie Mark of a sunrise. Luna wondered who this Unicorn was. Among them, was a picnic basket and everypony was sitting around waiting for Pinkie Pie.
“Girls, I’m here!” sang Pinkie Pie.
They all looked at Pinkie Pie with a smile, but smiled when they saw Luna, except the mysterious pony. “Luna! How is retirement?”
“It’s fine, Applejack. How is your life?” asked Luna.
“Me and Rainbow are dating.” Applejack and Rainbow Dash embraced. This reminded Luna of her relationship with Twilight Sparkle.
“I still remain a fashion designer, Luna,” replied Rarity.
“Discord and I got married,” replied Fluttershy.
Luna looked at the pink unicorn mare and realized that she was silent. “I never saw you before in Ponyville. What’s your name?”
Although the mare was surprised that these mares were talking to Luna, she replied. “My name is Luster Dawn.”
Luna was surprised by the name. If Celestia were here, she would have loved the name of this unicorn, since the name was related to the day.
“Luster Dawn dear, this is Luna. The ex-princess of the night.” introduced Rarity with a raised hoof.
Luster Dawn looked at Rarity. “Was there a princess besides Twilight? Now this is something I never imagined seeing in my life.”
“Yes, Luster. Celestia and Luna used to rule Equestria before they retired and gave the throne to Twilight Sparkle,” replied Rarity.
“If this is Luna, where’s Celestia?” asked Luster Dawn with a raised hoof.
“My sister is at a hotel in Manehattan,” replied Luna with a smile.
Luster Dawn still looked a little surprised to have had a princess before Twilight, but she tried to accept that. “Well, guys. Shall we start the picnic?”
“Yes!” they all shouted excitedly, except Luster Dawn and Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie took cupcakes, sandwiches, apples, water, muffin, cake, salad, juice and tea out of the basket and placed it on the picnic blanket. Pinkie Pie and Luna sat down to eat. Each took something to eat. Pinkie Pie obviously ate a cupcake, Fluttershy ate a salad, Applejack was eating an apple, Rarity was drinking tea from a cup of tea, Luna was eating a muffin, Luster Dawn and Rainbow Dash was eating a sandwich.
Rarity looked at Luna. “So Luna, how’s retirement?”
Luna smiled. “It’s very good. Celestia feels very free without having any real duties.”
“I will not blame her. Spending more than a thousand years governed must have been a lot of work. Imagine how much party she missed!” said Pinkie Pie.
“Pinkie, although my sister has ruled for a thousand years, she can always attend all the parties to which she was invited,” said Luna.
“How did she do it? Was it in two places at the same time? Did she use the mirrored pool?” asked Pinkie Pie.
Luna was confused by the last sentence. “Pool what?”
“The mirrored pool,” replied Pinkie. “This pool is located in the Everfree Forest. There was a time that I used it to clone myself so I could attend all the activities that my friends were offering me. But the result wasn’t good.”
“How come the results were not good?” asked Luna. Like, it couldn’t be that bad, right? Right?
“Well, let’s say that all ponies are in a bad mood and Twilight had to find a solution to get rid of all the clones.” Pinkie Pie looked away.
“What was the Twilight solution?”
“She did a test: The test of seeing the paint dry. The clones couldn’t take their eyes off the paint wall.”
“And what would happen if they took their eyes off the paint?”
“Twilight Sparkle would use her magic and the clone of mine would go to the mirrored pool.”
“You were there?”
“Yes. But I tried hard to not be accidentally taken to the mirrored pool,” replied Pinkie Pie. “But let’s change the subject. How is your relationship with Twily?”
Luster Dawn choked. Everypony looked at Luster Dawn. “W… what? Are you dating princess Twilight?”
“Yes. Since my first Nightmare Night,” replied Luna. “Why?”
“Not at all,” replied Luster Dawn a little sadly. Since she became a student of Princess Twilight, she started to develop feelings for the princess, but now that she found out that Twilight was dating an ex-princess made her feel broken-hearted.
Twilight Sparkle was on the balcony lowering the sun. When she was finished, she raised the moon and added the stars and some constellations. Twilight Sparkle remembered the picnic, she had to prepare things for the picnic. She left the balcony and went looking for a basket and a picnic blanket.
Twilight Sparkle didn’t notice, but Luna had landed on the balcony while smiling and holding a basket with her magic. “Ready for the picnic, love?”
Twilight Sparkle’s ears perked up. She turned to Luna. “Not yet. I need a picnic basket to put food in and… ”she stopped talking when she saw Luna with a picnic basket. “Where did you find that basket?”
“Pinkie Pie lent it to us to use for tonight’s picnic,” replied Luna.
“Is there food in there?” asked Twilight Sparkle.
“No. We ate during the picnic in Ponyville. ”
Twilight was surprised. “Did you have a picnic in Ponyville? Were my friends there? What about my student?”
“Yes, i had a picnic in Ponyville with your friends,” Luna was confused by the last sentence. “Wait, student? Is Luster Dawn your student?”
“Yes, Luna. When I realized how good Luster Dawn was with her magic, I decided to make her my student,” replied Twilight Sparkle. “But, can we get food for the picnic?”
“Sure, love,” replied Luna with a smile.
After choosing the food, they left the castle and went to Ponyville to have the picnic. The foods they chose to have at the picnic were sandwich, water, apples, cake and muffin. They decided to do it in a place where there was no home.
Upon arriving at the site, they landed on the grass. When Luna put the towel on, Twilight Sparkle started to put the food on the towel. When they finished, they sat down together to eat. While Twilight Sparkle ate a sandwich, Luna ate an apple.
Twilight Sparkle couldn’t help denying that she loved spending every moment with Luna. From Luna’s first Nightmare Night to now. Just imagining that she spent several moments with Luna during her life, from when she was a Unicorn to a princess Alicorn made her cry with joy. How much she has evolved. Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna. Even though Luna is no longer a princess of the night, she was still beautiful.
Twilight remembered what Luna said to her earlier. Luna was staying with her for two days. Twilight was sad to remember that. She didn’t want to be without Luna. Okay, Luna was coming to visit her. But it was her marefriend we were talking about. Twilight Sparkle had fun with Luna every moment. She wanted Luna around and wanted her to live with her. But she didn’t know if she should say that now. Since she didn’t even have a ring to declare. She really wanted to now propose her hoof in marriage, but she didn’t have any engagement rings to make the request. And now?
Luna realized that Twilight Sparkle was quiet. “Love? It’s all right?”
Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna with a concerned look. She didn’t know what to do. She didn’t want to tell Luna that she wanted to get married, because she didn’t have the engagement ring. She didn’t know if she should propose to Luna with a ring or without a ring. But she started to remember a book that talked about marriage. In the book it said that it wasn’t necessary to have the ring to ask the mare to marry, only if tradition was something important. She began to think about her brother’s marriage to Cadence. When she saw Cadence, Cadence didn't have an engagement ring on her horn. If her brother declared Cadence in marriage without an engagement ring, then maybe she doesn’t need a ring to declare herself either.
Luna realized that Twilight Sparkle didn’t answer her question and was concerned. “Love? Did you listen to me?”
Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna. “Yes, Luna. I listened.”
“So why didn't you answer me?” asked Luna.
“It’s just that I was stuck in my thoughts.”
“Do you mind telling me what you were thinking?”
Twilight Sparkle was nervous. She was no longer nervous about the fact of the ring, but she feared that Luna would say “No.” But how would she say that she wanted to marry Luna? She needed to elaborate the statement in detail before declaring herself. “I was thinking about how much you mean a lot to me.”
Luna smiled and hugged Twilight Sparkle with a wing. “Oh Twilight, you mean a lot to me too.”
“I’m happy with that,” said Twilight Sparkle, now smiling in relief as she looked to the left.
Twilight Sparkle realized that Luna was smiling, and everything was quiet at the moment. Although she was nervous, she was going to do that. She was going to propose to Luna. She got up.
Luna was confused. “Love? What happened?”
“Is that Luna, I have something to declare.” Twilight Sparkle started.
Although Luna was confused, she replied, “I’m listening.”
“Luna, from the moment we met at Nightmare Night and when we started dating, I felt whole with you by your side. I loved every moment that we spent together...”
Luna started to get worried. Was Twilight Sparkle going to break with her?
“But when I started to rule Equestria, I started to miss you. Every time I saw the moon, the stars and the night sky, they reminded me of you. I started to realize that I can’t live without you by my side. Luna, every day when you’re not at the castle with me by my side, I miss you. I miss you so much that I wish we could live together in the castle. Luna, are you going to marry me?”
Luna’s mouth fell open at the last sentence. She? Marry Twilight Sparkle? But she and Celestia already lived in Manehattan. “But love, I already live in Manehattan. I don’t know if I can accept this.”
Twilight Sparkle started to cry. “Luna, are you denying my proposal?”
Luna felt her heart break when she saw her marefriend’s tears. “No, Twilight. I don’t mean that. I’m just saying that I need time to think about it.”
Twilight Sparkle sighed as she continued to be sad. “I understand…”
When the date ended, Twilight Sparkle and Luna returned to Canterlot Castle. Twilight was a little saddened by the response she received, while Luna was wondering whether to accept the marriage proposal. Twilight Sparkle decided to go to sleep, while Luna stayed awake to think if she should she was going to accept Twilight Sparkle’s marriage proposal.
Luna went to the balcony and looked at the stars in thought. Should she accept it? Like, she loved Twilight Sparkle. But what about your sister? She also wanted to be with Celestia during her retirement. What was she going to do? She sat on the balcony and blew out a breath as she thought about what to do. She didn’t know how she was going to answer that. She didn’t know if she would be able to solve this on her own.
Until she had an idea. She could send a letter to Celestia about this. Maybe Celestia could help her with that? Luna brought out a scroll, ink and quill and began to write. When she finished, she read what she wrote. “Dear sister, I really need your help. Twilight Sparkle offered her hoof in marriage to me. I don’t know if I should accept to marry her because I want to continue to live with you in Manehattan but I also don’t want to hurt Twilight’s feelings, just because I don’t want to marry her. Please tell me what to do. Signed Luna.”
Luna rolled up the parchment and sent it to Celestia. Then she waited for his sister’s answer. It didn’t take long for the answer to come. A scroll appeared and fell on the balcony floor. Luna took the parchment and opened it to open. “Well Luna, marriage is the greatest proof of love that can be given, because the two ponies are together. Whoever loves somepony wants to have this pony around, to care for, give love and affection, and to live together. I’m not Cadence to know about love, but she told me all about why a pony should get married. In case you’re worried that you won’t see me anymore, you don’t have to. I will be visiting you and Twilight if your decision is to marry Twilight. When you have the answer, send me a letter to let me know. Signed Celestia.”
When Luna finished reading the letter, she started to think about what she should do. Should she accept to marry Twilight Sparkle? But when Luna read that marriage is the greatest proof of love that a pony could give, she started wanting to marry Twilight. It wasn’t because she wanted to prove Twilight that she was going to get married just because she wanted to prove something, but she wanted to marry Twilight because she loved her. And also because when she read what a wedding was about she realized something she hadn’t noticed before. She loved Twilight Sparkle and she couldn’t deny that whenever whenever she had to say goodbye to go to Canterlot, she missed her and she knew very well that if she denied the marriage proposal and went to Manehattan to continue living with Celestia, she would also miss Twilight Sparkle, just like when she was the princess of Equestria and not Twilight.
She made her decision. She started to write the answer to Celestia.
Celestia was on the hotel’s balcony, watching the stars. She smiled. Her former student did a beautiful job with the constellations.
Suddenly, a scroll came to her and fell to the floor. Celestia took the parchment and started to read. “Dear sister, I have already decided. I plan to marry Twilight Sparkle. But I’m not going to do that because I don’t want to hurt her, but because today I realized that I don’t want to be without her with me every day. Signed Luna. Note: could you be the priest of my wedding?”
Celestia smiled at what was written. “Luna has grown so much...”
Celestia wrote a letter before sending Luna.
Luna was about to sleep. But another letter came. She took the scroll with her magic and began to read. “Yes, Luna. I can be the priest. Signed Celestia.”
Luna smiled in relief before going to bed, lying on the bed and hugging Twilight Sparkle with her front hooves before going to sleep.
When Twilight Sparkle woke up, she felt something embracing her. She looked back and saw Luna. She took off the hooves that held her with her magic and went to the balcony to lower the moon and raise the sun. The color of the sky changed from dark blue to light pink with dark blue and then to light blue. After she lowered the moon and raised the sun, she was going to have breakfast. And maybe, just maybe, ask if Luna would accept to marry her. Of course, she shouldn’t wait for a “Yes.” Since for her, Luna’s expression seemed to say “No.” Her expression wasn’t at all happy, but she wasn’t angry with Luna. If Luna didn’t agree to marry her, she would understand. Because after all, Luna cares about Celestia.
When she arrived at the dining room, it already had pancakes for her, Spike and Luna. Spike hadn’t woken up yet, so Twilight Sparkle would have to be alone for a while.
When Luna woke up, she felt in a good mood. She couldn’t wait to speak and answer Twilight Sparkle. She left the room and saw Spike leaving his room. Luna still needed to get used to the adult Spike, because before Spike was a baby dragon when she and Celestia ruled Equestria.
When they arrived at the front door, Spike entered directly. Without saying anything. Luna stood at the door, thinking about how she should speak to Twilight Sparkle. Should she talk straight about it or should she curl up?
But she heard the voice of Spike and Twilight Sparkle.
“Spike! Sleep well?”
“Yes, Twilight.”
“Where’s Luna?”
“She was walking with me in the hall while she was going here. But it seems that she avoided entering.”
Footsteps were heard. Luna was concerned. Should she enter now or should she remain here?
But there was no time for Luna to think about what to do. The door opened, revealing Twilight Sparkle. “Luna? Why are you standing at the door?”
Luna didn’t know how she was going to explain. “Well, I was just wondering how I was going to tell you something.”
“Why don’t you eat while you think about what you want to talk to me about?” asked Twilight Sparkle.
“OK, love.” Luna entered the dining room.
In the dining room, Spike was sitting on the left side of the table. Luna sat on the right side and Twilight Sparkle in the middle. Luna watched Twilight Sparkle eat the pancake. Luna took the time to start thinking about how she should say that she did want to marry Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle stopped eating and looked at Luna. “Luna, I’m not trying to rush you or anything. But have you made up your mind?”
Luna knew now was the time. She needed to say how she thought she was right. “Yes, love. I already decided.”
“You accept?” asked Twilight Sparkle, nervously.
“Yes love. I accept,” replied Luna with a smile.
Twilight Sparkle was so happy that she hugged Luna with her hooves. “Thank you! Thank you!” Luna was surprised by this. Spike just watched this with a smile.
