The Power Rangers and Mane 6 try to defend the Summer Sun Festival before the Legion of Doom tries to wreck it.
Following their announcement, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna decide to have their last Summer Sun Festival, and who better than Twilight Sparkle and her friends and the Power Rangers to help get ready for the holiday? Unfortunately, Blaze and Roxy’s Legion of Doom are also going to be there to crash the party, and make all the schedules to the festival a series of burnouts after another! The Rangers and Mane 6 must stop the Legion of Doom before they make things worse for the teams, and the holiday gets ruined. Will this festival be the last Summer Sun Festival ever? Not if the Rangers and Elements have anything to say about it!
Continuity: Beast Morphers - It would most likely take place between Gorilla Art and Ranger Reveal, as Vargoyle will be making an appearance in the story, and he will join the Legion of Doom. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - A rewrite of the season 9 episode, “The Summer Sun Setback”, so most of this will probably not be canon.

It was a normal day...or night in Evox’s lair when Grogar, the blue necromancer goat was getting ready to leave for a very important announcement by Evox when he heard someone speak up.
“ Where are you going?“, a voice asked. Grogar turned around, and saw that it was the Cybervillain Blaze.
“Since you five have retrieved my Bewitching Bell and turned it into a robotron, we have just the edge we need to defeat Twilight and her friends and the Power Rangers!” Grogar said to Blaze, a smile on his face.
“GROGAR!!!” Evox shouted nearby. He was not willing to wait a minute for his comrades to arrive.
“Coming...” he said. He turned to the avatar. “Master Evox needs me. I have to go, but I think you five can handle the mission you have set out for wrecking havoc on our enemies.” He left to go to Evox.
“Understood, Grogar.” Blaze said. He waited until Grogar was gone, then he turned to face the comrades who were just starting to come out. “He’s gone.” He said strict, but calm.
A black queen-sized changeling...Queen Chrysalis was coming out to greet the avatar. “Why did you do it, Blaze?” She asked to him, still in a funk from their last mission. She had suggested to let Grogar think that they were his servants, and later they could hatch their own plan to backstab him. But, Blaze had ignored her and decided to rather help him, by turning the bell into a robotron. “I mean I know it was a good idea to turn the bell into a robotron, but just...why did you insist on helping Grogar rather than backstabbing him?”
“Why do you say that?” Blaze asked her.
A red centaur...Tirek came out to answer that question. “Well, it’s just...it’s just...”
“It’s just that none of us trust him.” A small filly with a blue Shirley Temple mane...Cozy Glow finished Tirek’s answer.
“That’s just what I was going to say.” The centaur said to her. “But just...why did you do it?”
“Because it was certain it was what I wanted to do, Tirek.” Blaze said sternly. “That’s the difference between you and me: I’m certain, and your a walking red burlap sack filled with giant turds!”
Tirek was taken aback by this. “You know, Blaze you’re really tearing it into me right now. Y’know...words hurt...”
“Alright, HOLD ON!” The other avatar...Roxy spoke up. “We need to find a way to defeat our enemies...and that’s why using Bell-Tron against the rangers AND the elements will be satisfying.” She said with an evil smirk.
“ If we can figure out how to use him.” Tirek added. They had just brought out Bell-Tron when they had retrieved the bewitching bell, but haven’t found a way of how to use him in a mission yet.
Just then, Bell-Tron came onto the scene, all excited with glee! “Did I hear someone call out my name?” He asked. Are you ready to toll the bells for the Rangers and Ponies yet?”
“We won’t need you yet.” Blaze told the bell-like robotron. “We’ll need you when the time is right. Now is not one of those times.”
“Oh, okay!” The bell robotron understood. “If you need anything, you know where to find me!” And with that, he clinked his bell-like tongue, and hopped away to another room in the base.
“We just need something new that the rangers wouldn’t suspect,” the crimson avatar said. “Something unexpected..”
Just then a familiar new robot arrived on the scene and broke the silence. “Blaze!” He said. The legion jumped in shock of this new alien. But not Blaze. He knew this familiar robot really well. He stepped up to him.
“Hello, Vargoyle.” He said dryly.
Cozy Glow was shocked. “You know this creature?” She asked him.
“Yes, I do!” He said in seriousness. “This robot was an early creation of Scrozzle’s. He once threatened us with the withdrawal of HIS fury cells!” He turned to the silver-blue humanoid robot with metal dreadlocks who just growled.
“YOUR fury cells?” She asked. The robot responded by almost punching her to the ground. She jumped back in shock.
“Care to repeat that, KID?!” He asked. The legion started to back away. “Such fools...” he said. “I oughta crush you like the fleas you are!” He aimed his sword at the chess filly.
Blaze reacted quickly. “I will do the crushing around here!” The robot growled again.
“No, you DON’T!” He started to say, but Chrysalis stopped him from doing anymore damage.
“Hold it!” She said to the robot. “I’m not thrilled about this either, but we’re ALSO trying to stop the Power Rangers and the Elements of Harmony as well!”
That got his attention. “What are the Elements of Harmony?” He asked.
“They’re pony versions of the Rangers...” she said quickly. Vargoyle raised his sword, but she finished. “But they’re here for the same goal...to save the universe!” He stopped and quickly understood as he lowered his sword down.
“Hmmmmm.....interesting!” He said, as he pondered the recent knowledge in his brain. “What else?”
“Twilight Sparkle, the leader of the Elements of Harmony, may be the worst, but she does know stuff.” The chess filly said to him. “She once said the Archives in Canterlot has a restricted area.”
“And where would that be?” Vargoyle asked.
“That’s in Equestria...where the Elements live.” Blaze said. “That’s the royal capital of that realm. We’re going to crash a little party there and no doubt the rangers will be there too! You’ve been wanting to defeat them for quite some time now.” He extended his arm to Vargoyle to make a peace offering. “So join us, and the Power Rangers and Elements will be RIGHt under your feet!”
Vargoyle looked at Blaze, and then the legion. He thought about it, and made up his mind. “I guess it IS time...” he reached out to shake the avatar’s hand. “...for now.”
“Celestia and Luna love to hoard information for themselves.” Roxy informed the robot. “If there's an answer, it's there.”
“My triumphant return to Canterlot?” Chrysalis beamed. “I like the sound of that.” She said.
“So, what are you waiting for?” Vargoyle shouted out In excitement! “Let’s go show those rangers and ponies what we’re made of!”
“Oh, my gosh!” Cozy whooped. “Road trip!”
Blaze took THREE robotron creation keys and gave one to Roxy and one to their new robot recruit. “Then, let’s go!” He said, pointing them in the right direction. “To the Castle of Canterlot!”
At Canterlot Castle, Twilight Sparkle was just about to get ready for the annual Summer Sun Festival, a festival for the defeat of Nightmare Moon and the return of her alter ego, Princess Luna. She was just about to go over the final details when someone came in. It was Devon Daniels, the red Power Ranger.
“Whatcha doing, Twilight?” Devon asked. He wanted to know.
“Oh, Hi Devon.” Twilight responded. “Nothing much. Just getting everything ready for the Summer Sun festival.”
“Ah, yes.” He thought out loud. “The annual holiday I’m which you restored Nightmare Moon back into Princess Luna using the Elements of Harmony?”
Twilight was surprised for a second. “How did you know?” She asked him.
“Starlight told me about it, just last week.” He said. “I think it’s a really special holiday...you know, considering that it’s takes place during the Summer.”
“Well, knowing or not,” Twilight said. “At least you’re and your friends are here to help. Princesses Celestia and Luna want this holiday to be an extra special one this year, and I want to make sure it fits their interest.” Devon smiled.
“Is there any way I can help?” He asked. Just at that moment, the two regal alicorns, Princesses Celestia and Luna came into the room.
“Sorry to interrupt you two.” Celestia said. “We know you're busy planning the Summer Sun Celebration as we requested. But...”
“Oh! Things seem, uh, calmer than we would've expected.” Princess Luna concluded, based on how calm she saw Twilight just now. She was freaking out, due to them revealing the fact that they would one day retire, but after their recent adventures with the Power Rangers and friends in Equestria, she seemed a little more calm now.
“No complaints here.” Spike said, who was also in the room.
“I agree with him.” Devon added. “No complaints here.”
“With the exception of the odd trivia night, I've made a lot of progress since the Royal Swanifying Ceremony.” Twilight said to the two monarchs. “You may not know this about me, but I occasionally freak out.”
“We know, you do.” Devon said. “You freaked out when you found out that they were going to retire, and also probably when the tree of Harmony was destroyed.”
The whole room was silent. “That was a joke.” Twilight broke the silence. “I wanted to show you with the Summer Sun Celebration how much I've improved. So I focused on delegating and trusting others. It's been great!”
“That's... actually what we came to talk to you about.” Luna said, a solemn look on her face. “This may be the last Summer Sun Celebration you'll need to plan.”
Devon was a little surprised by what she just said. “I’m sorry, did we do anything wrong?”
“Of course not.” Celestia said with reassurance. “It's just that the Celebration has always been about us. My defeat of Luna...”
“...and, thanks to you and your friends, my reunion with my sister.” Luna added.
“Now that we're leaving, we don't see a need for the holiday any longer.”
Devon was a little shocked. “What?” He asked. “How could you not see the need for the holiday? This holiday is one of the biggest Equestrian events of the year! What is there to worry about?”
“Well, Devon, My sister and I have decided. The time for us to retire is upon us. Twilight and her friends have proven you are ready to lead Equestria. So let this be the last Summer Sun Celebration as Equestria leaves behind the old to embrace the new!”
Devon could tell Twilight was shocked as she just did a gulp, but nonetheless, he was brave and ready for whatever came to him. “Don’t worry, your highnesses!” He said. “Me, Twilight and the others will do whatever we can to make this the best Summer Sun Celebration you can ask for! No questions asked!” The two rulers took a little sign of relief as Devon said that they could do as they planned for them. “Come on, Twilight.” He said. “Let’s get to our friends.” And with that, he, Twilight and Spike all left to find their friends, who were just starting to get ready for the party.
They got their, and their friends could tell Twilight was a little worried, due to the recent news the princesses gave them. “My goodness, Twilight!” Rarity said. “How are you and Devon feeling about all this?”
“Something like this could definitely send you into full freaky-outy mode!” Pinkie Pie said in agreement.
“We’re actually fine.” Devon told them. “But if this is gonna be the last Summer Sun Celebration, we have to make sure it's the best Celebration ever!”
“Please-don't-give-us-more-work... Please-don't-give-us-more-work... Please-don't-give-us-more-work...” Rainbow Dash whispered with worry.
“So, even though everything was done, Devon and I thought of a few last-minute changes we could use your help with.” Twilight said to them.
Everyone except Twilight and Devon groaned. “I knew it!” She said in frustration.
“Oh.” You noticed THAT recently?” Steel asked the rainbow maned Pegasus. “We usually get work down at Grid Battleforce, so doing this festival preparations are going to be a piece of cake!”
“I agree, Rainbow.” Steel’s human brother, Nate said. “These preparations are going to be pretty easy, considering we threw one for the Beast Bots a few months ago.”
“You threw one for the Beast Bots?” Rainbow asked. “That must have been pretty cool! Alright, so I guess this IS going to be easy.”
“That’s the spirit, Rainbow.” Ravi Shaw, the blue Power Ranger said. “Celestia and Luna want us to throw the best Summer Sun Festival and they’re going to get one.” He was pretty confident.
“I agree with Ravi.” Zoey Reeves, the yellow Power Ranger said. “With all these festival preparations going on, what is there to worry about?”
“Oh, the end of a beloved holiday?” A voice echoed. “Last-minute changes to a celebration?” The voice came together, and a kit bashed draconniquis, Discord appeared before them. “That sounds positively chaotic!” he said in glee.
“What are you doing here, Discord?” Steel asked him.
“I've known Celestia and Luna longer than any of you.” he said to the beetle-like robot. “If this is the last Summer Sun Celebration, I simply can't miss it. I see I've arrived just in time for the "Twilight and The red ranger give their friends an impossibly long and overly detailed list" predicament.”
Devon just chucked. “Looks like SOME draconequus isn't the know-it-all he thinks he is.“ he said jokingly. Twilight nodded In agreement “Here are the note cards with the assigned duties that Twilight would like you all to do.” He handed them a certain number of colour-coded notecards, each with their own duty.
Rainbow Dash and Ravi took a look at the note card. “This is it?” Ravi asked. “That doesn’t seem like all that much.”
“I’m kinda with Ravi on this one.” Rainbow Dash said in agreement.
“No more crazy lists. No more freaking out. With your help, We know we've got this.” Twilight said to the rest of the Elements and Rangers.
“Character growth is so boring.” Discord groaned. “Do I at least get my own note card?”
“Oh!” Devon said in excitement. “Here’s one for you, Discord!” He handed a notecard to him, complete with his own duty. “Now, Twilight and I need to go rewrite the speech.” He started. “But if you all look at your cards, you'll see—“
Discord cut him off. “Can't talk now. Have so much to get done before sunrise.” He snapped his fingers and teleported himself along with the others over to the city in Canterlot.
“Well, that was unexpected.” Devon said to the violet alicorn. “But, knowing our friends, I think they got this.”
“Me too, Devon.” Twilight said. “Hey, why don’t we go rewrite the speech before the big holiday starts?”
“Sure thing.” Devon said. “Let’s do it!” And he and Twilight and Spike went back to the previous room to revise the speech for the festival.
(Meanwhile, outside in the city...) Blaze and Roxy’s Legion of Doom had arrived on the scene. The city was already bustling with the festival coming up, and Blaze could tell THAT wasn’t helping their problems easy.
“Why are so many ponies up in the middle of the night?” Tirek asked. He was tired, but even so, he wanted to know.
“It’s that stupid sun holiday.” Roxy said. Cozy Glow made a gagging sound in agreement with Roxy.
“How many holidays do you ponies have?” Chrysalis asked, but realized even THAT was a stupid question. “No matter. Getting into the castle won't be a problem.”
“Are you sure about that?” Tirek asked.
“Yeah!” Vargoyle said. “There’s a huge defence system in here. Look!” He pointed to recent defences added to Canterlot, which were added with fans, big loud honking birds, bricks, and of course, shards from Chrysalis’s old hive.
Chrysalis herself was a little surprised by what she just saw. “Oh. Those are new. But even so...” she transformed herself into a guard pony to get to the guards. She arrived to them.
“Transfer. Have to head inside. Open up.” She saw that one of the guards was leaving and the door was opening. She tried to use her metal to open the door, but it didn’t work. She tried to play it cool. “Uh, do yours get glitchy too? More medallions, more problems, am I right?”
She transformed back and arrived back to the Legion of Doom, who were still hiding behind the barrels. “They've increased security into the castle. This is going to be more challenging than I thought.” Suddenly, Discord had arrived and with him were the rest of the Power Rangers and Elements of Harmony.
“Could you not go popping us all over the place, please?!” Rainbow Dash asked in frustration.
“Time is of the essence.” Discord said urgently to the rest of the teams. “Let's go, teams!”
“We need to know what we're doing before we go and do it.” Fluttershy said. The others nodded in agreement as well.
“Pinkie, you, Ravi and I are givin' Braeburn and the Appleloosan ponies some adjustments to the menu.” Applejack said to them.
“Food adjustments?” Ravi said. “That sounds like a good duty to handle!” He rubbed his stomach jokingly. “I’m so hungry! Is there anything to eat?” Everyone else except Discord laughed.
“Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and I are meeting the Pegasus ponies from Cloudsdale to give them changes to the weather.” Zoey said. She turned to her team. “Are you sure we can do this?”
“You BET we can!” Rainbow said.
“Consider it done!” Flutter shy saluted her.
“Spike, we're going to update the Flaming Sky Firework Unicorn Troupe with Twilight's new vision.” Rarity told Spike.
“And I'm supposed to...” Discord started, but Steel took his note card, and read it out loud.
“...make sure Discord doesn't do anything 'Discord-y'? “Well, that's annoyingly specific!” He said in both disgust and laughter.
“That job’s not for you, Steel.” Nate laughed. “YOU’RE going to help the Flaming Sky Firework Troupe with me, Spike and Rarity.”
“Oh, is THAT what you guys had in mind?” Steel asked. “Phenomenal! I could sure go for some fireworks every now and then!”
Each team and Discord all split up to do their duties. Little did they know, the Legion of Doom was watching them nearby.
“Increased security on a crowded holiday with Twilight, her friends and the Power Rangers bumbling around?” Tirek asked in frustration. “This is impossible.”
“Oh, no. This is perfect.” Chrysalis whispered with glee! “We need a distraction, and those ridiculous ponies and rangers just gave it to us.”
“If anyone wants to come up with a plan to attack the power rangers AND elements of Harmony, now’s the time!” Vargoyle spoke up.
“Don’t worry guys.” Blaze said. “I know how we can crush the Rangers and ponies one by one. Now, do exactly as I tell you.“ The villains leaned into what Blaze was planning for them. “Tirek, you and I will suck the magic out of those Earth ponies, rendering them helpless. Roxy, you and Cozy mess up changes to the weather...a lot! And Vargoyle and Chrysalis, you two go and tell the unicorns that there is something MORE they can do besides petty fireworks...and disguise him too!” He pointed at Vargoyle, who was listening to the plan as well.
“Huh?! But, I—“ Blaze gave him a stern look. “Of course, sir.” He said.
“Once we do all those things,” Blaze said, “We’re going to make this holiday a burnout, and then, once all of Equestria is divided, we’ll bring in both heroic teams together in one place...and then, exterminate them!” He laughed as well did the other members of his team. They had a plan to ruin the Summer Sun Festival, and once they brought both the elements and rangers together, they would strike them down when they were least expecting it. They just had to find a time to see if the other ponies were not busy, so that then, they could execute their plan.
While Pinkie and Applejack were setting up shop for the food for the food stand, a few ponies were wanting to try a few baked goods, but Pinkie Pie swatted them away. “Step away from the wagons!” She shouted “Official food-tasters here on official food-tasting business!” She then proceeded to try the goods noisily.
Applejack’s cousin, Braeburn was a little worried. “Well, it ain't gonna be easy.” He said. “But I think we can whip up these new cookies Twilight wants before sunrise.”
“ If anypony can handle some last-minute bakin', Braeburn, it's y'all.” Applejack assured him.
While Pinkie continued to chomp on the goods, Ravi and Applejack were trying to go over the requirements for the snacks. “We brought plenty for the Celebration. But if she keeps testin', we might be in trouble.” The cowboy stallion said nervously.
“But I see a suspicious-looking cookie!” the party mare said, and chomped on it really quick.
Ravi laughed. “Don’t eat a lot of those, Pinkie.” He told her. “Or, you’ll get a stomach ache and won’t have anything to eat during the festival!”
“Oh, Ravi!” Pinkie laughed. Sometimes, you forget...I’m not a human, I’m a pony! I just LOVE these sweet treats!” She tried to continue taste testing them.
“Well, you better save some for the festival.” The teen warned her. Just then, Blaze and Tirek came on the scene, and when no one was looking, Tirek opened his mouth to suck all the strength from the earth ponies.
Blaze even took a jab toward those ponies. “Surprise!” He said evilly.
The four turned around and saw what happened, but didn’t see who did it. “You okay?” Braeburn asked.
“ I feel weak all of a sudden...” one of the earth ponies said. Her eyes felt like all the dark black was faded out from the eyelids.
“Is anyone back there?” Ravi asked. Suddenly, Blaze appeared before them, already morphed.
“Everypony... get away from the food... 'til we figure out what's goin' on...!” Braeburn shouted in shock, and all the earth ponies ran away, screaming.
Ravi took a good look at those eyes. “Who do you think could’ve done this?” He asked. “The eyes can’t just fade to a lighter colour!” The two earth ponies noticed, and Blaze advanced, slashing his sword at them. They jumped back. “Blaze!” The teen said. “So, YOU’RE behind all this!”
“Yes, I am!” The cybervillain said, “and my accomplice is right here with me!” And Tirek emerged as well!
“TIREK!” All three shouted!
“Prepare to be crushed!” The centaur said, and swung at the trio, who got ready to fight the two villains.
Meanwhile, at the weather station, Zoey, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were trying to assign the weather duties to the Pegasi.
“The princess wants what?!” the weather pony asked in shock.
“Just what's on that little card. No big deal.” Rainbow Dash said, with cool in her voice.
“No big d-d—?! I-I-It's a m-much more aggressive weather pattern than what was originally ordered!” He stammered. “This... This is... very irregular! We'll need to... No, first we must... Wait! We ca—“ he started to wail.
“Take a breath.” Fluttershy warned him. The weather pony did so. “Let it out slowly.” he exhaled.
“Tell the princess we will do our best.” he said calmly.
“We're pretty sure you will be doing an excellent job.” Zoey said.
“Oh, yeah, totally. You're not gonna panic and screw it up at all!” Rainbow Dash said.
“I THINK he’s got it.” Zoey assured her. “Why don’t we go check on the others?”
“Sounds like a plan!” The rainbow mare said, and they started to leave to check on the other teams. Then, Cozy Glow and Roxy appeared before the weather pony.
“Golly. Sounds like you need some help.” Cozy Glow suggested.
“Who are you?” he asked.
“Someone who's organized enough to handle the small stuff so you can focus on the big picture!“ Roxy said.
“The big... Yes! That sounds right!” the weather pony said calmly.
Cozy and Roxy took the cards and took a good look at them. “This kind of weather has to be handled delicately.” They chuckled evilly. “Good thing we’re here. We’ll take care of everything.”
Just then, Zoey and the others were heading back. “And then I said to Nate...’Get your own chicken coop!’”
Fluttershy just spat out her drink at Zoey and Rainbow Dash who dodged her projectile spitting. “Oh, sorry. That one’s got animals!” She giggled.
They were going to check on the weather when they saw the weather already being messed up. They took a good notice at the two who were behind all this. “COZY GLOW?!” Zoey shouted.
“ROXY?!” Both Pegasi said in shock.
“Uh, oh. Looks like we’re busted.” Roxy took out the robotron creation key and threw it up into the sky. The messed up weather landed in front of the heroes in the form of a robot. “Go get them, WeatherTron!” She alerted.
“Roger that!” The robot said. “Today’s forecast is a little rainy, and drizzly, with a chance of Rangers and Ponies!” He swing his thundercloud hands to them. The heroes dodged them as they got ready to fight them!
Meanwhile, Nate, Steel, Spike and Rarity were watching the fireworks nearby! “Whoa!” Spike whooped in excitement.
“The Flaming Sky Firework Troupe is a marvel.” Rarity said.
“Phenomenal!” Steel said in agreement. “Look how they can shoot fire from their horns!” He pointed to the horn that were producing the fireworks.
“We take pride in what we do.” the troupe leader named Fire Flare announced.
“These last-minute changes aren't too challenging, are they?” Nate asked.
“Ha! The more challenging, the better! We aim to astound! Now, if you don't mind, we do have a new routine to prepare. Horns at the ready!” Fire Flare instructed. And they shot fireworks out at the sky.
The group was getting ready to leave. “I must say their pyrotechnics they shoot from their horns is just fantastic!” Steel said.
Nate laughed. “Steel, it’s not for fire, they do the fireworks for show. It’s like a special display.” He told his beast bot buddy.
“So...they’re show pyrotechnics.” He guessed. The others just laughed. “What?! I didn’t think they’d do just playing with fire for fun!”
Just then, Vargoyle and Chrysalis arrived just in time. Chrysalis transformed into her pony form from ‘The Mean 6’!
“Very impressive.” she complimented.
“Thank you.” Fire Flare said. “Unfortunately, we have no room for anypony else at this time...“ She cleared her throat. “I’m sorry?”
“And I don't want to join your silly little troupe.” Chrysalis said, snobby.
“Pardon me?” the troupe leader asked.
“Oh, I meant no offense. It just seems a pity for unicorns to waste their talents on something so... inconsequential.” the disguised changeling said. “Unicorns wield magic. We are the most powerful ponies in the land. Don't you ever feel you're destined for more than... performances?”
(Back to Ravi, Pinkie Pie and AJ...) The three were still going at it with the two and a new robotron dubbed PieTron!
“Ready for a PIE in the face?!” The robot shouted. He fired pies at them every which way, which they dodged by they way,
“Ooh, that big meanie pants is so going to get his just desserts!” Pinkie shouted.
“And fast!” AJ warned them.
“Oh, you’re all talk.” The centaur said. “But let’s see what you are when I suck your power from you!” He opened his mouth, and all three of them dodged.
“We’re gonna need some backup!” Ravi said. He started to contact Devon on his wrist com. “Devon, do you copy?”
Meanwhile inside Canterlot Castle, Twilight and Devon were just finishing getting ready.
“It's all coming together.” Twilight said. “I really think this is gonna be the best Summer Sun Celebration ever!”
“You've done an outstanding job, Twilight.” Devon said to her. “Heck, We've all done an outstanding job! You should be happy to know that Discord has been watching himself all night, and he has yet to do one "Discord-y" thing.”
“Now, that truly is amazing.” Princess Luna said. She just came up to the two.
“Twilight, we know you had, uh, difficulties using the amulet to raise the sun and moon.” Celestia said, who also just came in. “We thought perhaps a practice session before the festivities might be in order.”
“That's... a good idea. Thank you so much.” Twilight said.
Devon was just about to help her, when he got a message on his wristcom. “What is it, Ravi?”
“Devon!” Ravi said over the wrist com. “Come quick! There’s trouble down at the city!”
“I’m on my way.” He said, and zipped over to the scene of the crime, where at the troupe stand, unicorns were running away and screaming from a robot with metal dreadlocks.
“It’s Vargoyle!” Steel said as the Mane 5, Spike and the rangers gathered together.
“I know you rangers are itching to take me on!” The robot said.
“More like itching to take you out!” Devon shot back. “It’s morphin’ Time!” The Rangers readied their morphers.
“ACTIVATE BEAST POWERS!” They all shouted. And in a flash, they morphed in the Power Rangers.
“UNLEASH THE BEAST!” All heroes sans Twilight said.
Chrysalis also appeared before them. “Ha! You Rangers and ponies THINK you’re so special!, but we’ve got a trick up our sleeves!” They charged at The red ranger, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy using speed, and knocked them down and out.
“No!” Devon shouted! “He’s got super speed!”
“We can still take him!” Pinkie shouted and got a huge column from the castle, loaded it into her party cannon, and she, Applejack and Ravi fired it at the two villains, but they caught it and threw it back to them! Everyone was shocked!
“No way!” Ravi shouted.
“That’s like our strength!” Applejack said in shock.
“Is that all you got?” Chrysalis asked.
“Our turn!” Zoey, and Spike jumped up at the villains, but to their surprise, Vargoyle followed suit, and knocked them to the ground.
“Such child’s play!” The robot said.
“How in Equestria did he jump as high as us?!” Spike asked. The others wanted to know as well.
“You and your powers aren’t special anymore!” Chrysalis announced. “Now, we’ll destroy every one of you!” He threw the key at a horn, and out came a fire-like robotron. “Show em what you got, Fire-Tron!” She said.
“With pleasure!” The fire-like robot charged at them, firing flames every which way. The ponies and rangers tried to deflect them all, but it was getting tiring.
The red ranger decided to step it up a notch. “BEAST BLAST!” He fired his Beast-X Blaster, and hit the villains spot on! The heroes regrouped.
Vargoyle checked his morph-x and saw that it was getting low. “No!” He shouted. “I’m almost out of upgrades!”
“Hear that guys?” Devon told his teammates. “He’s losing power! Let’s light them up!”
“TRANSPORT! BEAST BLAST!” They fired their weapons that teleported at them, but the villains teleported away!
“Oh, man!” Rainbow Dash said. “We almost had him!”
“How did Vargoyle get beast powers like ours?” Devon asked.
“It’s puzzling...” Nate thought. “Somehow, they must have copied your cheetah, gorilla and jackrabbit abilities. And unless I miss my guess...they’re probably headed to the archives to get the book on Grogar’s bell!” He pointed to the tower.
“We got to stop them from getting that book!” Spike said.
“Let’s go!” And the Rangers and their allies went to find their villains to prevent them from taking the book contains Grogar’s magical spells!
The Rangers and Elements minus Twilight and Starlight made their way inside the archive tower of the castle. When they got there, they noticed that it was a spiral staircase. But, THAT was not a problem!
“How did Cozy and the others even know we were here?!” Steel said. He knew something was amiss, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
“I don’t know, Steel.” Nate said. “But if we’re gonna prevent them from getting that book, we have to work fast!”
Rainbow Dash tried as fast as she could, but try as she might, she couldn’t get everyone else back up there!
The red ranger was too have some trouble. “I wish we all had cheetah speed, or YOUR speed!” He pointed to Rainbow Dash.
She groaned. “But you gotta remember: we’re not the same! We’re two entirely different species of creatures! I just wish we we could’ve stopped them in time, with Twilight...or Starlight! THEY’D know what to do!” They almost made it at the top of the tower, when Ravi got an idea.
“Guys!” He said. I just found out how we could beat them!”
“What?!” Pinkie Pie asked.
“Whoa, no way!” Spike said.
“HOW, Ravi?” Rarity asked with curiosity.
Ravi got his wrist com and decided to talk to Twilight via his morpher! He didn’t know HOW to do before, but he HAD to try... it HAD to work! He contacted Twilight, and sure enough, she received his message via her horn. “Twilight, do you copy?”
She got the message, and communicated through his morpher. “I read you, Ravi!” She said. “What’s up?”
“Twilight, it’s total CHAOS out there!” Ravi said. “I don’t know what we’re going to—!”
His friends were totally SHOCKED that he was contacting Twilight, ESPECIALLY since he was contacting her for help! “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” The others said, and tried to cover up the morpher, and get him to hang up!
Twilight couldn’t make heads or tails of their conversation, but she did get the “NOOOOOOOO!” Loud and clear!
“No, what?” She asked in confusion.
“Uh...” Ravi started to say, but Rainbow Dash TOTALLY cut him off!
“What Ravi’s trying to say is...we don't know what to do now that everything's all ready!” She said. She even forced out a chuckle to cover it up in this situation!”
“ I guess I was too organized. I'll try to come up with a few last-minute errands for you before sunrise.” Twilight said calmly. “I’ll see what you can do!” She hung up on his morpher.
“Yeah, sounds good!” He said, just before HE hung up. He turned to the others with an angry look on his face, wondering what the heck that was all about. “Explain to me why none of you told the truth?!” He scolded them.
“Oh, Twilight is finally learning not to let her stress get the better of her.” Rarity said in shock. “If she finds out everything went wrong, it could be devastating!”
“Oh, she would be so upset.” Fluttershy said in agreement.
“She'll totally freak out!” Devon said in agreement.
“Well, what do y'all suggest?” Applejack asked her teammates.
“Ooh, ooh, ooh! Let's just fix it all before she notices.” Pinkie Pie suggested. “No lying necessary.”
Zoey immediately took notice of the villains. “No time for that!” She alerted. “They’re already breaking in the archives!”
They took a good look. “Come on!”
In the archives, Cozy Glow and the REST of the bad guys were trying to make it in. “Not here. The Archives are in a different part of the castle.” she warned them.
“Then let’s relocate, Cozy!” Vargoyle said. Cozy agreed and they made it into a different part of the castle.
They made it inside the archives where Cozy was excited. They searched for the book high and low, they couldn’t find it. However, she noticed that the book was all tied up with chains. “All right!” She said. “Blaze! Roxy! Chrysalis! Tirek! Vargoyle! Look!” They took a good look and apparently saw the book all bound up.
“Huh?” Blaze wondered. “I wondered why we didn’t notice THAT before.”
“Stand back!” Vargoyle said. And slashed the chains to pieces, freeing the book! “For you, Master Cozy!” He handed to book to her,
The chess filly was victorious. “Oh..my...goodness!” She squealed. She wanted to snatch the book. “Best... road trip... ever!” she shouted with glee.
However, the Rangers and ponies already made their way inside...due to Cozy’s really loud squeal. “Unfortunately, this is The worst road trip ever for you!” Nate shouted. He aimed his morpher DIRECTLY at her, who just cowered in fear.
“Uh, oh!” She thought.
“TRANSPORT!” All heroes shouted as they aimed their weapons at them.
However, Tirek had a trick up his sleeve. “Uh, you’re forgetting something.” He pointed to the three robotrons. Who were JUST right behind them!
“What?!” Nate asked in shock.
“Oh, it HAD to be the robotrons!” Rainbow said in frustration.
“We’d love to stay and chat, but you know...ta ta!” Roxy said, and they teleported back to the cyber dimension!
“NO!” Devon said. “Oh, and we almost had them!”
“No time for that now!” Steel warned them. “It’s robotron crushing time!” He got his saber ready, as the ponies readied their elements of Harmony!”
“We’re taking this outside!” Nate said.
“Alright!” Rainbow Dash said in agreement “I was HOPING you’d say that!” The Rangers and ponies jumped outside, while robotrons followed suit!
“Tronics!” FireTron announced, and purple foot soldiers appeared RIGHT before them!
Steel groaned. “Is there no end to this?!”
“Not a problem!” Rainbow Dash said. “Let’s go!” And they all charged at some tronics. Some of the heroes kicked them in the gut, some used the Elements to blast them, others...used sabers to strike them down. Either way, the tronics were NO match for the heroes, as they were easily vanquished one by one!”
“Take that, tronics!” Devon said, as he wiped some out without even breaking a sweat!
“The distraction worked!” PieTron said, as he hurled a few pies toward Pinkie, Applejack, and Ravi!
“Whoa nelly!” Applejack said in shock!
“Sorry, PieTron!” Ravi said, as he walked over to him and used his gorilla strength. “...but kitchen’s closed!” And he threw PieTron from up in the air and the robot landed with a thud!”
Rainbow, Fluttershy and Zoey were still going at it with WeatherTron as he hurled some storm clouds right to them! “Time for someone to rain on their parade!” He said evilly.
Unfortunately, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were on to him, as they went out the robotron’s vision! “What?!” He asked. “Where did they go?.”
“Right here, Sucker!” Rainbow Dash announced, as she and Fluttershy kicked the robotron in the back, knocking him down!
“Beast Blast!” Zoey shouted as she aimed her blaster and fired at the weather bot. The robotron exploded.
Nate, Steel, Spike and Rarity were also going at it with FireTron who fired fire from his hands! “Now see the Elements and Rangers destruction!” He said, but Rarity, Spike, and Nate and Steel retaliated, by deflecting the fire using their sabers, horns and Spike’s fire breath, which Singed the robotron! He later regrouped with PieTron, while the heroes did suit.
“Let’s finish this!” Rainbow Dash said! The others whooped in agreement. “BEAST-X BLAST!” The Rangers got their cannons ready.
“STRIKER SABER...STRIKE!” Nate and Steel got their swords ready and sung in the form of their horn motifs on their helmets!
“ELEMENTS OF HARMONY...UNITE!” Rainbow Dash announced, as they aimed their weapons at the monsters!
“UH, OH!” Both robots said.
“FIRE!” They shouted, and in a flash, all their combined finishers easily destroyed all the robotrons in no time flat!
“Alright! We did it!” Rainbow Dash whooped in excitement.
“We did it!” Rarity said. “And Twilight didn’t notice!”
“Alright!” The Rangers said in unison.
“YAY, US!” Pinkie pie shouted in excitement.
“Who hoo!” Fluttershy said calmly. She wasn’t used to letting her emotions out, but this was a time to express their victory!
“But Twilight doesn’t know!” Spike said in alarm!
“...And we want to MAKE sure we keep it that way!” Steel said, further frustrating Nate.
(Back at Canterlot Castle...)
Twilight Sparkle was just finishing up some last minute preparations to the festival. It was almost time, and she was fully in control of her freakouts. She was just about to add the finishing touch. “Okay...” she said. “I think we should be able to get the amulet ready for raising the sun and the moon, and then—“
Just then, Braeburn came in feeling tired, but also proud that the magic was returned to him as a result of the battle. “Earth ponies were sick... Food Was missin'... Couldn’t...bake... anythin'...Power Rangers saved us...” he struggled to say. Twilight was a little shocked about what had happened to him, but nonetheless, she was calm and pretended as if it were nothing.
Just then, the chief weather pony just rushed in, alert to talk to Twilight. “Princess! I beg your forgiveness! It's entirely my fault!” he shouted a little frightened.
“What is?” she asked.
“That!” he pointed to aftermath of the Rangers’ and Ponies’ battle with the three robotrons.
Twilight looked outside, and saw the result of what happened outside. She was a little surprised about what happened. “What’s going on?” She asked worriedly.
Just then, Fire Flare came in a little angrier than usual. “Princess Twilight!” She shouted. “Please inform Celestia and Luna that we will not be performing! A simple fireworks show is beneath us! We're better than that!”
Twilight was a little confused. “What’s going on, Fire Flare? What about ‘aiming for perfection’”?
“We've set our sights higher.” she boasted to her.
“Higher than perfection?” Twilight asked.
“Higher than putting on a silly little show for the other ponies.” Fire Flare said a little confident and angry at the Princess.
Twilight couldn’t believe it! Her jaw dropped as if everyone was going to cancel the Summer Sun Festival for good. “But you were so excited before. What changed?” She was a conbination or shocked, confused, worried and horrified. “Is this about the special privileges you wanted? Because this seems a little extreme!”
“The special privileges?! The last thing on my mind is special privileges!” The troupe leader shot back. Just then, the Rangers and the rest of elements including Spike just came in at that moment.
Something in Twilight’s mind clicked. She turned to the heroes. “What’s going on, guys?”
All the heroes stood there frozen. They didn’t know what to say, and Twilight wanted to know what really happened. Finally, Devon decided that there was no way out of it. He simply HAD to come clean, as with the rest of their friends.
“We tried to fix it ourselves, Twilight.” He said to her. “We fought Tirek, Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, And Vargoyle—“
“Don’t forget Blaze and Roxy!” Steel finished.
“And we also got caught up into fighting some robotrons and tronics, and we wanted you to think that everything was going to be okay, but we couldn’t hide it from you because it was obvious you’d find out what happened. We managed to defeat the robotrons, and well....”Devon felt a little guilty with what he about to say next. “...you know the rest.”
“I thought everything was fine!” Twilight was now a little angry with her friends that they didn’t tell her the truth earlier. “I can’t believe you’d lie to me about something like this!” She scolded her friends. “If anything happens at the Summer Sun Festival that didn’t go as planned, and if the WHOLE thing is messed up...I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!” She was so mad, she just couldn’t speak.
“It’ll be all on us.” Devon said. “We know. And we’re sorry.”
Twilight wasn’t so sure about what she wanted to say next because her friends lied to her. But after she saw the reactions on their faces, she finally thought of something to say. “I’m sorry too...” she said, “...about what happened.”
“So...Steel said. “...you do forgive us?”
“Yes, guys.” She said. “I’m sorry about what happened and I see now that you were trying to save the festival and it wasn’t fair of me to be mad at you. Do you forgive me?”
“Are you kidding?” Steel asked. “Of COURSE we forgive you! Why would we not forgive you for making a mistake?”
“We sure do, Egghead!” Rainbow Dash said.
“Darn tootin, Sugarcube!” Applejack agreed.
“Of course, Darling!” Rarity said.
“Would we ever forgive you if you just made even the littlest mistakes?” Fluttershy asked.
“Of course we do, Twilight!” Pinkie said.
“I forgive you too, Twilight.” Nate said. “We all do.”
“Definitely.” Zoey said.
“You got it!” Ravi said.
“Yeah!” Devon said.
“We do forgive you, Twilight!” Spike said. And they all hugged Twilight as hard as they could,
“But, how are we going to get the place all fixed up for the festival?” Ravi asked her.
“Live in the friendship moment, Ravi.” The violet alicorn said. “At least I do.”
The friends all embraced this moment together. At least the festival was saved...for now, and they had all managed to forgive each other. But just as things were about to get better, a problem was going to arise, and it was a BIG problem!
The Rangers and Ponies were all embracing their moment of forgiveness after their recent battle with the robotrons and coming clean to Twilight. She was a little mad at the teams at first for not telling her the truth and thinking that they could handle this on her own, but after they apologized, she eventually forgave them, because every now and then, they make mistakes too.
The friendship moment was interrupted when three new giant gigadrones arrived before them outside Canterlot Castle, and they were ready to do some serious smashing!
The heroes looked out the window and sure enough, they saw them. “Gigadrones?!” Rainbow Dash said. “Already?!”
“Like I said...” Steel said, remembering what he said when they encountered the robotrons previously without Twilight. “...Is there no end to this?!”
“We’ve got to stop those gigadrones before they make Canterlot a royal squished pancake!” Pinkie Pie said.
“And fast!” Applejack added.
“Commander!” Devon contacted Commander Shaw. “Send the zords!”
The call went right to Grid Battleforce where the commander got the call. “I read you, Devon.” She said. “Deploy all zords!” She informed the hangar workers.
Twilight realized that this was no time to get mad now. She turned to her friends. “I know how I used to react, but I really have changed.” She told them. “Panicking won't solve anything, but we can handle whatever problems come our way as long as we handle them together!”
Just then, Princess Celestia appeared from behind them. “Spoken like a true leader. How can we help?”
“You two, try to get the festival under control!” She informed Celestia and Luna. “We’ll use the zords to take those overgrown party disasters!”
“RIGHT!” The rest of the heroes said, as they rushed off to their zords.
“Good luck, Twilight.” Luna said with hope.
All 5 zords had arrived through the portal, with the racer zord already in battle mode, and the wheeler, chopper, wrecker and Jet zords in vehicle mode.
“You ready for this?” Devon asked his Rainbow Pegasus friend.
“You bet I am!” She said.
“BEAST-X MEGAZORD!” Devon, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Ravi and Zoey announced.
“STRIKER MEGAZORD!” Nate, Steel, Twilight, Pinkie, Rarity, and Spike announced as well.
Their zords combined to form their respective megazords. At last, they had their megazords ready and were ready to take the gigadrones on! “MEGAZORDS...UNLEASHED!” All heroes announced.
Devon activated the megazord’s defences. “Gigadrone on radar.” He said. “Here we go!”
“We’re ready for it!” Nate said.
The gigadrones were ready too as they used giant explosive pies, death-defying thunderclouds, and huge walloping fireballs at the zords. The Beast-X Megazord dodged all the projectiles, slashing them to pieces. However, they couldn’t handle the fiery inferno balls that almost singed their zords.
“Woah!” Rainbow Dash said in shock! “Can you believe that?!”
“Those giant fireballs almost LITERALLY melted the megazord!” Fluttershy shouted in shock and horror!
“Nasty!” Applejack agreed, “Good thing y’all dodged those pies and thunderclouds! Otherwise, we all would’ve been too late!”
“Yeah!” Ravi said. “Let’s get them!” Both megazords charged at the gigadrones.
The Beast-X megazord swung it’s sword to PieDrone and FireDrone, but they were tougher than the usual gigadrone. Heck, they were even tougher than any Delta or Alpha gigadrone they even faced! “Aah!” Rainbow Dash said. “Devon, this drone’s tough!”
The Striker Megazord was also trying to deal with WeatherDrone as well as the zord swung it’s jet stag beetle-like blaster at him to strike. “I’m not going to let you rain on OUR parade today!” Nate said, as the megazord punched WeatherDrone knocking it down.
The WeatherDrone, however, had other ideas. It got back up, and used it’s thundercloud hands to produce thunderclouds to zap the megazord!
“Aah!” Nate said, as his megazord was being zapped. “Steel! It’s zapping our zord!”
“Nate!” Spike said! “Hold on!” He activated the megazord’s defences and used the blaster the wrecker zord was holding, and THAT knocked the gigadrone RIGHT to the ground!”
“Thanks, Spike!” Nate said. “That was close!”
“I know!” Spike said, almost in exhaustion. “But Devon needs us! Let’s go!”
“RIGHT!” The others said as they took the Striker Megazord to the other two gigadrones.
The Beast-X Megazord was not so lucky with PieDrone and FireDrone as they swung at the megazord, almost exploding the megazord with its pies, and singeing the megazord with its massive fireballs!
“Ah!” Rainbow Dash shouted. She wasn’t sure how much more this megazord could take. “We need back up!”
Their prayers were answered when the Striker Megazord came charging at the remaining two gigadrones that were about to finish the Beast-X megazord off! “Don’t even THINK about it, you mean old meanie pants!” Pinkie said as the megazord advanced toward PieDrone and FireDrone.
“Rapid Blast!” The heroes inside the other megazord announced, and the megazord launched some Gatling gun-like projectiles at the two gigadrones, almost making short work of them.
The Beast-X Megazord had this chance to punch FireDrone and PieDrone back into each other together! However, WeatherDrone was also coming back up too, but unfortunately, he was almost up against the other two gigadrones between a rock and a hard place!
“Now’s our chance!” Rarity alerted. The Striker Megazord readied it’s blasters for the big finisher! “Darlings!” She said! “Let’s finish them!”
“DITTO!” The others said in their cockpits in agreement.
The Beast-X megazord ran up to the gigadrone trio and jumped up high into the air about to perform a kick, like something you’d see in a Kamen Rider movie or show! “BEAST-X MEGAZORD...HYPER KICK!” Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Devon, Ravi, and Zoey shouted as the megazord got into position to perform the finisher.
“STRIKER HYPER BLAST!” Rarity, Twilight, Pinkie, Spike, Nate and Steel shouted. And the Striker Megazord blasted WeatherDrone and PieDrone while the Beast-X Megazord kicked FireDrone right in the “gut”, making all three gigadrones down...and out for the count as they exploded and were no more!
“Virus...” Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Devon, Ravi, and Zoey started to say,
“...eliminated!” Rarity, Twilight, Pinkie, Spike, Nate and Steel Finished. They had defeated all the gigadrones, and saved the festival all in one day. The heroes hopped out of the zords later, as the zords went back to their respective hangar, and the heroes went back to Canterlot Castle to finish up last-minute preparations for the Summer Sun Festival!
Everyone was finishing their last preparations for the Summer Sun Festival. The Pegasi were getting the weather ready, Fire Flare and her troupe got the fireworks ready, and Braeburn and the appleoosians were going to get ready for the bake stand for the big occasion. Devon and the others, including the Elements got ready too.
Finally, when it was all ready, there was a whole crowd of ponies that flooded the stands...earth ponies....Pegasus...and unicorns alike. Celestia and Luna were also ready too! And the ponies cheered when Twilight Sparkle came onto the stage to present herself to the crowd. When the cheering died down, she made her biggest announcement for all of Equestria to hear.
“This Celebration has always been a reminder not to fear the night, for there is always a new day to look forward to.” Twilight spoke to the crowd. “But as we look towards Equestria's future, I am sad to say today will be the last Summer Sun Celebration.”
Everyone gasped at that. Even Ravi SPAT out his apple cider for that announcement.
Steel was even shocked. “WHAT?!” He started to say. Devon, Zoey and Nate assured him, though.
“Because there is something even more important to celebrate.” The violet alicorn continued to announce. “There are two ponies who have watched over us night and day for as long as we can remember.” She looked at Celestia and Luna who had just walked up to the stage and smiled as she continued to deliver her message. “We will no longer commemorate their battle or their reunion. Instead, we will take this day to celebrate how much they mean to all of us. From this day forward, today will be known as the Festival of the Two Sisters!”
The whole crowd went into an uproar! Everyone cheered in amazement! Even the rangers, and the rest of Twilight’s friends were proud as well. Twilight used her magic to summon the amulet used for raising the sun and the moon. She turned the amulet and the sun rose up to start the day!
Celestia was the most surprised and proud as Twilight commemorated the new holiday. “We don't know what to say.” The regal sea-mane white alicorn said, proud.
Twilight just smiled as her friends came up to her. “A brand new holiday?” Pinkie Pie giggled. “You're my kind of princess!”
“I'm just glad we pulled it off.” Twilight said in accomplishment.
“About that... We just wanted to say we're real sorry.” Applejack said to her.
“We shouldn’t have lied to you when it was obvious we could’ve told the truth.” Ravi said.
“But, we’re pretty proud of what you did to get this new holiday up and running!” Steel said. “We just have one tiny suggestion.” He turned to Devon who smiled.
“We suggest the you change it back to the Summer Sun Festival.” Devon kindly suggested as he smiled with Steel by his side.
Twilight was shocked and confused at that. “But why??” She asked. “I already named it the ‘Festival of the Two Sisters’ to celebrate how much they mean to all of us! Those two ponies who have watched over us night and day for as long as we can remember! Why would you want me to change it back?”
“Let’s just say that I think Summer Sun Festival has a better ring to it, AND...that it’s one of the best summer holidays of Equestria...the whole WORLD even!” Devon said, complementing and jokingly to her.
“You did tell us you'd changed.” Rarity said, congratulating Twilight.
“As your friends, we should've trusted you.” Fluttershy said.
“Next time you say you're not gonna freak out, we'll believe you.” Rainbow Dash said.
“Good.” Twilight said with content. “Because I'm sure there's gonna be plenty of things I'll need my best friends' help with.” She turned to the rangers. “...You guys too!”
The Rangers and Elements all hugged their friend as Pinkie Pie bounced on them, and they all laughed after that.
Zoey broke the hug. “Hey, Twilight?” She asked. “Nicki Rev is going to have a new movie at the movie theatre where we live. Wanna come?”
“Thanks, Zoey. But, I’ve got some things to do with my coronation coming and all...” she said. But, she had an idea. “Hey, I don’t suppose you five would like to come to my coronation?”
The five rangers were shocked as they had just processed this information that had given to them. “You serious?” Ravi asked.
“Well, you guys have helped us save Equestria, so...why not?” Twilight asked them.
The rangers were excited! They were going to come to Twilight’s coronation as new ruler of Equestria! They had to tell the Commander!
“Hey, Discord!” Ravi asked, looking high up at the sky at Discord, who was up on a cloud. “Want to come see a movie starring superstar Nicki Rev with us? We’d like it if you’d come!”
“Oh, thank you! But, I’ve promised Fluttershy I would have tea with her.” The draconniqus said. “Maybe another time?”
“Okay, sure!” Ravi thanked the kitbashed creature. He turned to his teammates. “Wanna go?”
“Do we?!” Devon said in amazement.
“LET’S ROLL!” Steel shouted and they went to the portal back to their world to see the new movie their favourite superstar would star in!
Twilight smiled at her friends that were just heading back to Grid Battleforce. These were good friends who were not only compassionate, brave, and strong and determined, but also they were the world’s greatest heroes the world has ever seen. They were...THE POWER RANGERS!
(Meanwhile, in the cyber dimension...) The Legion of Doom was just returning from its mission with the book in hand when Evox came to greet them in their usual manner. “I sent Grogar to talk to me, and you come back from a mission empty handed?!” He yelled at them.
“Not exactly, Evox!” Blaze said. He showed him the book containing all the spells on how to activate the bewitching bell!
“Well...” Evox said. “I must say, I'm rather impressed with all of you! Now we have more than the edge we need to defeat the Elements of Harmony and the Power Rangers! I’m guessing it was Cozy’s plan to get the bewitching bell book?” Cozy nodded. “Congratulations, Cozy!” The snake hissed in amazement! “Now we can defeat the Power Rangers and the Harmony Elements right under our feet! When I return, Equestria and Earth will finally be ours for the taking!”
Vargoyle couldn’t take much more of this. He left the evil legion party behind. “Just so you know, Blaze...” he aimed his sword at the legion! “Our alliance is over!” The villains and Scrozzle cowered in fear!
“Very well...” Blaze said. “I guess we’re back to being enemies...but I want you know, Vargoyle...that we’ve got more power than ever to defeat our enemies!” Vargoyle just seethed and went back to Planet Earth to defeat the rangers!
Tirek just pouted. “Oh, stop pouting.” Chrysalis said to him.
“You knew you couldn't stay that buff.” Cozy said. “You had to admit that all the life force to those Earth ponies could come back after the rangers defeated those robotrons!”
“I don't have to like it.” Tirek grumbled.
“Well, I don't like that we worked so hard to destroy their party and they still pulled it off.” Cozy argued. “But you don't see me complaining!”
“Our goal wasn't to destroy. It was to distract. And now we have exactly what we need.” Chrysalis said to reassure the villains.
“And no time to waste.” Blaze said in agreement. “We have to master Bell-Tron before the rangers come back to try something!”
“We've managed to stay one step ahead of everyone so far.” Roxy continued to say.
“You know, it really was super easy to get all those Earth ponies and Pegasi and unicorns to turn on each other.” Cozy agreed.
Blaze put his hand to his face. “Oh, god. Not that holiday where you start those ‘ponies defeating windegoes’ thing!” He said in utter frustration, and walked away.
“It was, wasn't it? Now that is something to think about...we capture two of the most component members of one of the teams and then, we’ll use them as bait to have the others come and save them!” Chrysalis came up with the plan! “Would that be grand?” She said with an evil smile on her face.
Cozy Glow thought long and hard about Chrysalis’ plan. “Now that IS something to think about...”
