Chapter 1: A Revolutionary Discovery

Location: Near Mount Everhoof, along the Yakyakistan-Crystal Empire border.
Date/Time: March 5th, 15:34:54

Along the tall slopes of the Mount Everhoof mountain range, 2 Crystal Ponies from the Crystal Empire Royal Academy are climbing a slope of ice to its top as a mild blizzard of snow rages around them. One of them, the one below, is a star student to the one leading. Using their Ice axes and hoof boot crampons to climb. The student looks up at his teacher, pulls his neck gaiter down under his chin and holds onto the hood of his jacket.

"Professor! Are you sure its this way!?" The blue crystal pony student yells above him to his teacher. The red crystal pony stops, pulls his neck gaiter down, pulls his tracking device out of his jacket's pocket and looks at it then down at his student.

"I'm 100% sure! The tracker has it at the top of this cliff!" The teacher yells.

"Sir! We've investigated this area before! Plus it's been weeks since the sensors first picked up the reading! There is nothing out here! We need to head back before this blizzard gets any worse!" His student yells.

"We can't turn back now! We're so close! There has to be something here!" His teacher yells, putting the tracking device back in his pocket, pulls his neck gaiter back up and grabs his ice axe and continues up. His student looks down and grits his teeth and pulls his neck gaiter back up and follows his teacher. The 2 crystal ponies continued on until they make it to the top. The teacher reaches the top first and he uses his ice axes to help pull himself up. After brushing the ice off himself, he looks in excitement to see what set off the sensors. His eyes widen as his student reaches the top and looks out to see what they spent days to get to. He sneers and laughs as there is nothing but a plateau of ice. Just a huge, flat field of ice.

"So, this is what your sensors found? A field of ice? Hmph. Congratulations Professor. You discovered ice." The student said mockingly but his sneer leaves when he looks at his teacher's excited face.

"You look at this short-sighted my student. Where you see just ice, I see the potential of discovery." The teacher says.

"What makes you say that?" The student asks as he watches his teacher as he heads down to the ice field.

"Well evidence 1: there's a blizzard behind us and no blizzard here." The teacher says.

"I know. The mountain formation hides the wind and thus creates a natural wind barrier." The student says annoyed.

"A perfect place to hide something. Evidence 2: if you use your magic, you would have figured out that below isn't just water, and that there is something down there that isn't natural." The teacher says and turns his head and looks at his student, to reveal his horn glowing.

"What? Not natural? Come on Professor. " The student says in a mocking voice and joins his teacher and sends a pulse of magic into the ice. For hundreds of feet, there is nothing but water until it hits something. Something that isn't a natural formation. "What? What is this?"

Location: Ponyville
Date/Time: June 17th, 12:13:37

On a warm, sunny day in Ponyville, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship, is walking through Ponyville wearing her favorite sky blue button-up shirt and a purple skirt carrying a stack of books. Her number one assistant and best friend, Spike the dragon, is carrying some food in a basket while wearing his red Tshirt and blue jean shorts. As they walk other ponies wave and say hi to them and they return the wave and hi.

"Wonderful day isn't it? Want to see if our friends want to go on a picnic?" Twilight asks and looks down at Spike. Spike smiles up at her and nods excitedly.

"Yeah, that sounds like a lot of fun." Spike answers. They are returning to the Castle of Friendship when a crystal pegasus wearing the Royal Crystal Empire messenger uniform flies over the castle and descends to them and lands in front of them.

"Princess Twilight. I bring an urgent message for you from Princess Mi Amore Cadenza." He says as he salutes her.

"From Cadence?" Twilight says in confusion. The messenger takes out a letter and hands it to her. Twilight takes it. "Thank you, good sir."

"Any time milady. Now if you'll excuse me I have to catch up to miss Rainbow Dash." He says and salutes her one last time and then he takes off in a hurry.

"Rainbow dash too? I wonder what's going on that would cause Cadence to call her too." Twilight said and set the books down on the ground. She opens the letter and reads it.

'Dear Twilight,
I request your help along with all the Elements of Harmony. A few months ago, 2 ponies from the Crystal Empire Royal Academy discovered something buried in the ice near the border with Yakyakistan. We have yet to discover what it is and do not have the proper magic or equipment for getting to it. Thus we require the power and knowledge of you and the Elements of Harmony. I know this is sudden for all of you but we do require all 6 of you in the Crystal Empire at the fastest time. Please respond as soon as you can with all of your friends and I will send the Royal Crystal Empire train to pick you all up.

"A new discovery. I wonder what that is all about." Spike comments then looks at Twilight who has excitement written all over her face. "Guess we're going no matter what huh?"

"Are you kidding Spike!? Of course, we're going! A new discovery could mean a discovery of the century! Come one! Let go check in with everypony!" She yells and lifts her books with her magic and grabs spikes left arm and rushes off to Carousel Boutique, dragging Spike behind her. They both soon reach Carousel Boutique and knocks on the door. Sweetie Belle answers and looks up, at Twilight.

"Hello there Ms. Twilight. It's very nice to see you." Sweetie belle says.

"Hello, Sweetie Belle. Is Rarity home?" Twilight says with a smile.

"Uh-huh. Let me go get her for you." Sweetie Belle says and leaves, heading upstairs to her sisters' room. Soon Rarity comes down and opens the door dressed in a green wool sheath dress.

"Well, hello there darling and Spikey-Wikey. What are you 2 doing here this fine day?" Rarity says cheerfully.

"Did you get a letter from Cadence yet Rarity?" Twilight immediately asks.

"Indeed I did. In fact, I was just about to go see you about it. I take it that you want to go as well?" Rarity says.

"Yup. You too huh?" Twilight says getting more excited.

"Well, the business has been down for a bit and a small vacation to the Crystal Empire may help. Also, this discovery could spark some new ideas." Rarity says with a smile.

"And I'll be going too." A voice comes from above. Just as Twilight, Rarity, and Spike looks up, Rainbow Dash lands. Wearing Gym shorts and Tshirt she holds up her letter. "Can't forget about me."

"You'll be going to RD?" Twilight says a bit surprised that she didn't need convincing.

"Why not? It'll be just like Daring Do and the Quest for the Sapphire Stone! A discovery that could lead to the ultimate adventure!" Rainbow Dash said enthusiastically.

"Ok. Great. I thought we would have to persuade you but I guess not. Thanks, RD." Twilight said with a smile.

"Right, so ill head home and-" Rainbow Dash begins but gets cut off by Twilight.

"Actually, could you travel with us? So when I get the return letter i don't have to go around finding you all." Twilight asked with a smile.

"Fine." Rainbow Dash says annoyed.

"Thanks, RD." Twilight says happily. Rarity grabs her purse and waves to Sweetie Belle and turns the sign on the door to closed and the 4 leave to head to Sugercube Corner. Upon arrival, Mrs. Cake tells them that Pinkie went to Sweet Apple Acres with Applejack and Fluttershy. The 4 set out and after a while they find the others in the barn helping Applejack with an injured sheep in the barn. They walk over and Applejack spots them.

"Well howdy ya'll what brings ya'll down here to our farm?" Applejack says and looks at them.

"This. I believe you all got a letter from Cadence too?" Twilight says and holds up her letter.

"Oh yeah. Pinkie, Fluttershy and I both got one from a Crystal pegasus a while ago. We were gonna find you after we took care of Beth's injury. We can all talk about it while we work." Applejack says and sits back down to tend to the sheep. Applejack and Pinkie keep it calm as Flutter stitches up the wound then puts a bandage and splint on it. Spike, Twilight, Rarity and Rainbow Dash pull up some hay bales and sit. "So, about the letter. I have to say that leaving the farm for a few days would be a little problematic. Don't get me wrong it sounds interesting but I have too many chores to do to just up and leave."

"I. I have to agree. W-with Applejack" Fluttershy says in her quiet and meek voice, petting the sheep. "I. I can't really leave the animals for so long."

"I'd really like to go to because it sounds fun. But to leave the bakery for so long is a little hard." Pinkie Pie said.

"Hm. I see. Well, Cadence wants ALL of us there. What if I help you with your chores Aj?" Twilight said.

"And I can help you find an animal sitter." Rainbow Dash said enthusiastically and flaps her wings.

"And I can help the Cakes bake enough treats to last a while." Rarity said.

"That would help a lot actually and then I could leave." Applejack said a bit happier.

"Oh yes. That would work. Please find a caring pet sitter." Fluttershy says in her quiet, happy voice.

"Really? That would be super duper awesome of you Rarity. Don't forget to make them really tasty." Pinkie Pie said enthusiastically.

"Oh yes. Applejack. Would it be alright if Sweetie Belle stayed here on the farm for the duration of our trip?" Rarity asks.

"Of course. Ah'm sure Apple Bloom would love to have Sweetie Belle here." Applejack says with a smile.

"Thank you very much Applejack." Rarity says with a smile.

With the last splint in place and the bandage secured on tightly the sheep smiles and wanders off. The 6 ponies and Spike split up to work. Twilight helps Applejack with her chores and her magic makes some of the chores that would take hours to do go by in minutes. Rainbow Dash uses her speed to quickly find a pet sitter for Fluttershy who would watch over her animals. Rarity helps Pinkie Pie and the Cakes bake more sweets with her magic from many years of multitasking. After a few hours, the 6 ponies gather back up in the Castle of Friendship and agree to go to the Crystal Empire. Twilight writes the response and sends it to Cadence via her magic. After a few minutes, they get a return letter from Cadence. Twilight grabs it and reads it out loud.

'Dear Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Spike,
Thank you all for agreeing to visit the Crystal Empire. I know this is completely sudden and I apologize for how sudden it is. However, this discovery may require the power of friendship, as many of the more recent discoveries have had. I hope this won't take too long and you'll all be returned back to your normal lives soon. I have sent the Royal Crystal Empire Train to pick you all up. It should be arriving in the morning. I am most happy that I'll be able to see you all again soon.

"Alright, the letter says the train will be here in the morning so it stands to reason to prepare and pack everything tonight and be at the station by sunrise so we don't hold up the morning train." Twilight says. The others agree and everyone leaves to prepare for tomorrow.

The Next morning: June 18th, 05:30:32

In the morning, Princess Luna, Princess of the Moon, is lowering the moon and her sister, Princess Celestia, the Princess of the Sun, raises the sun. The ponies wake up and get dressed with Rarity dressing nicely in a blue dress and high heels. Applejack wears her normal farm clothes, a plaid button-up shirt, blue jeans, cowboy boots, and her signature cowboy hat. Twilight puts on a purple skirt and a light blue button shirt. Fluttershy has a green wool sweater and skin-tight blue jeans. Pinkie has a pink tank top crop top shirt on with a pink miniskirt. Rainbow Dash has a sport shirt on and blue jean shorts. Spike has a red Tshirt and brown jeans on.
After dressing the Ponies set off. Rarity drops Sweetie Belle off at Sweet Apple Acres then heads to the station with Applejack. When they arrive at the station and already Twilight, Spike, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie are already at the station. Pinkie is hopping in place. Rainbow is fluttering in place chewing some bubblegum. Twilight is reading a book on a bench while Spike is asleep, laying his head on Twilight's shoulder. Fluttershy is watching the morning birds as they sing. Rarity and Applejack walk over.

"Morning ya'll." Applejack says with a wave and a wink as she walks up with a satchel.

"Good morning every pony. And, well, Spike is asleep but good morning to him too." Rarity says cheerfully as she walks up with 2 large rolling suitcases. Twilight looks up from her book and waves at them. Fluttershy gives a small smile and a small wave. Rainbow Dash gives them a wave while not looking at them. Pinkie stops bouncing and gives them a huge double-handed wave with a huge smile.

"Good morning to you 2 too. And don't mind Spike. Let him sleep. I wore him out yesterday when I was ordering about late into the night to pack certain items just in case we needed them for the discovery." Twilight said and patted Spike's head. He mumbles a bit and adjusts his head a little.

"Hee. We can see that. Or was it 'other activities' that tired him out?" Applejack teased. Rainbow cracks up laughing and falls to the ground. Pinkie tilts her head in confusion. Fluttershy blushes hard enough her entire face goes red with embarrassment. Twilight looks at Applejack, shocked and blushing, dropping her book. Rarity gives a pouty face of jealousy at Applejack who is laughing too.

"A-A-A-A-Absolutely NOT! H-how could you think of such a thing!?" Twilight says in embarrassment. Applejack laughs for a bit then stops and wipes a tear from her eye.

"I'm sorry Sugercube. I couldn't help but joke about it." Applejack says and picks up Twilight's book and hands it to her. She takes it and looks at Applejack.

"Not funny AJ." Twilight said.

"What's going on? What are 'other activities'? Is it fun?" Pinkie asked getting excited.

"You really want to know Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash says with a sly grin. Pinkie nods quickly to Rainbow Dash but before Rainbow Dash can answer Twilight cuts in.

"L-Lets save that topic for another time. The Train is here." Twilight said as she points down the tracks. They see the Royal Crystal Empire Streamliner coming down the tracks. It brakes hard as it comes to a stop at the platform. The ponies cover their ears from the screeching sound of the brakes. The sound wakes Spike up with a startled face and he too covers his ears. The train stops at the platform and the door opens, a crystal pony guard exits and salutes the mares.

"Princess Twilight. Milady, we have arrived to pick you up as ordered by Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. Her Majesty is expecting you in a timely fashion. Please board and we will take you to the Empire with great haste." The guard says.

"Thank you, kind guard. Let's go girls and Spike." They grab their suitcases and board. The guard bows to them but deeply bows to Spike. As soon as the guard boards the door closes and the streamliner sets off with amazing speed. Along the way, they are treated to first-class accommodations, especially Spike, much to his embarrassment.

5 hours later. 10:43:21

The Streamliner steams out of a snow and ice gorge and onto the summer plains of the Crystal Empire. In order to protect the kingdom, the Crystal Heart has created a barrier to keep the violent snow and cold away. The ponies never tire of watching the scenery change from ice and snow to the summer plains. Spike, on the other hand, is being treated more lavishly by his 2 attendants, both of them feeding him crystals as he relaxes on a soft couch. The train begins to brake again but the train car blocks out the sound of the brakes. The train soon comes to a halt at the station platform and the ponies disembark. They go to grab their luggage but the Crystal Pony guard stops them.

"My apologies your highness, however, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza requests that you do not dawdle and head straight to the Crystal Castle. Do not fear for your belongings, I will personally escort them to the castle." The guard says.

"I see. Very well. Thank you." Twilight says and the ponies turn and leave the station. Finally, Spike comes out and hurries after The Mane 6. Immediately as soon as he steps off the train, Crystal Ponies swarm him and praise him calling him 'Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious'. He smiles and thanks them as he tries to push through the crowd and shakes their hands. He soon manages to squeeze through and runs to Twilight and the others. The giggle as he catches up.

"Having fun there, Oh great hero of the Crystal Empire?" Rainbow Dash teases.

"I forgot my disguise is all." Spike said. The ponies laugh and continue on. As they walk crystal ponies wave and cheer for Spike, much to his embarrassment. They all soon reach the Crystal Castle and the guards let them enter. They head up to the throne room where Cadence is sitting on her thrown reading a document while her husband, Shining Armor, stands next to her with his arms crossed and helps her from time to time. Shining is wearing his purple and blue armor, with his helmet on the ground. Cadence is wearing long pink and purple corset dress with half arm long sleeves. Both of them have their cutie mark on their chests of their clothing. As the door opens they both look up and see their friends enter.

"Twilly! Welcome back, little sis!" Shining Armor said excitedly. They both run to each other and hug each other. They break after a bit. "Did you all enjoy the ride here?"

"We did. Thank you for the accommodations, my favorite BBBFF." Twilight said and Shining smiles and chuckles. He then steps aside as Cadence walks over and Twilight and Cadence hug too.

"Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh. It's been so long Twilight. I've missed you so much." Cadence, the Princess of Love, says as they embrace.

"I've missed you too Cadence. How's Flurry?" Twilight said as she embraces Cadence. Cadence breaks back and smiles.

"I think she's awake. Let me go get her. I'm sure she'll be happy to see you all, especially Pinkie Pie." Cadence says and teleports away. About a minute later she returns holding Flurry Heart, still in her diaper but wearing a pink, crystal heart romper. She squeals and reaches for Twilight when she sees her. Cadence hands Flurry to Twilight who caresses her and nuzzles her.

"Hello, there my sweet niece. It's been so long, you've grown quite a bit since I last saw you." Twilight says and they cuddle for a bit until Flurry spots Pinkie and immediately flies to her. Pinkie catches her and spins her around as they both laugh. Twilight gives a small sigh but watches with a smile, content that they are both happy. Twilight turns and looks at Cadence.

"So, what was this big discovery that you called us here for Cadence?" Twilight asked.

"Oh yes. The discovery. Well, let's begin at the beginning and have the ponies who made the discovery tell you all about it. Shiny?" Cadence says then looks at Shining Armor. He nods and leaves. After a bit, he returns with a red crystal pony dressed in the Crystal Empire Royal Academy's formal outfit with a cloak over it all with badges on it and a blue crystal pony dressed in a fine suit. "This is Professor Rock Knowledge and his pupil Solid Ice. They made the discovery back in March." Cadence said. The 2 stallions bowed to her.

"It's an honor to meet the Princess of Friendship, our savior, the Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious, and the elements of harmony." Rock Knowledge said as both he and Solid Ice keep their heads bowed to Twilight and the others.

"Thank you, you 2. Its a pleasure. But please, call me Twilight." Twilight said softly and humbly.

"And please, just call me Spike." Spike said back to them too. They raise their heads and smiles at them and the others.

"You 2 grace us too much. Thank you both. Thank you, all of you." Solid Ice said and looks at every pony in the room. They all smile at him.

"So, tell us, what happened? What did you find?" Twilight asked, getting excited. Rock and Solid nod to each other and Rock casts a spell onto the floor. Twilight and the others back up and Pinkie walks over and cradles Flurry as she walks over to watch. Rock generates a magical 3-D model of the Mount Everhoof mountain range.

"2 weeks before we made the discovery, we began to get readings from sensors we placed all around the Mount Everhoof mountain range. The sensors picked up a large object in this area." Rock says and the area is circled and zooms in on the field of ice. "The readings were faint and unidentifiable so Solid and I went to investigate. When we reached the summit we found this flat field of ice. The ice is a few dozen feet thick. Below the ice is a lake of water around a kilometer deep. Well, it's more like a void of empty space as there is literally nothing in the water. Nothing, just water, and an unidentified structure." This surprises The Mane 6 and they all look up at him.

"A structure on the lake floor?" Twilight says.

"Yes, Princess Twilight. That's what intrigues me. Then, there's this." Rock said and a small scale 3-D representation of the ice field. They watch as the ice field rises into the air, a body of water follows it and below it is nothing but soon a structure below the ice appears. It is comprised of 2 sections. One of the sections is a rectangle with a dome on top while the other section is a long rectangular section. They are connected in a T-shape. The dome section is taller than the rectangle section. Both sections are black since they don't know what the actual structure looks like. All The Mane 6 look in disbelief at the image.

"And this has been under the ice and no pony has known about it?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Apparently, then again, no pony has been in that area since the Crystal Empire disappeared over 1000 years ago and we didn't have the technology that we had back then that we have today." Solid said.

"How do we know these aren't natural formations?" Rarity questioned.

"For 2 reasons. Reason 1 is that natural formations aren't this smooth. Reason 2 is that even if they could be this smooth, they would be this large. This rectangular section is about 200 meters long with the dome section longer at 400 meters." Rock said. The ponies look at him in astonishment then back to the image.

"Do we know what's inside or how to enter?" Applejack asked.

"Neither, I'm afraid. We've tried our best to locate the entrance but haven't found it yet. That's where you all come in. Since we can't find a way in or know what's down there, we were hoping that you all could help us." Rock says with a smile but to his surprise is met with glares from The Mane 6.

"So, we're just keys to you? You couldn't find the entrance so you used my sister-in-law to contact us to find and unlock the entrance?" Twilight said a bit angrily.

"Well.......i...uh......" Rock sputters and looks at them stunned. The 3-D image disappears. Cadence steps in between them.

"He didn't ask for you, he came to me first. He asked for my help first but when I couldn't help I called out to you and your friends. Please, don't blame Rock." Cadence said a bit sternly. Twilight and the others soften.

"Oh. Uh...wow. I'm so sorry Rock Knowledge. I completely took that the wrong way. Please forgive me." Twilight said and bowed to both Rock Knowledge and Solid Ice.

"Please forgive us too for doubting you both too." Fluttershy, Rainbow, Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, and Spike said together and bowed to them as well. Flurry Heart hangs onto Pinkie as she bows and Pinkie holds her tightly. Both Rock and Solid look at The Mane 6 and their savior with wide eyes of surprise.

"No no. Please. Princess Twilight, Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious, and every pony. It is ok. I shouldn't have said it as I did. Please forgive me too." Rock said and bowed back. After a few seconds of silence, the bowing ponies smile then begin to laugh and stand back up.

"We're both at fault then. No pony is guilty then." Twilight said through her giggles.

"Very well. Fair enough." Rock said and they soon stop laughing and Twilight regains her composure and smiles at Rock who smiles back.

"I would be happy to assist you in unlocking this discovery, Professor." Twilight says with a smile then turns back to her friends. "What about all of you?"

"Yeah! We'd be glad to help." They all say. This brightens up Rock and Solid.

"Thank you. Thank you all for this." Rock said with a huge smile and Solid smiles just as big too.

"So, when do we leave?" Twilight asks excitedly.

"Tomorrow morning." Rock said. This kills all the ponies' excitement as they groan. "I'm really sorry. However, if we leave today, it'll be night time by the time we reach the camp. We have to climb mountains and such and that's extremely dangerous at night so we must wait till tomorrow to venture out."

"I see. That is true. Very well. Understood." Twilight said feeling better.

"For today, you'll all be studying how to travel through rough and cold weather conditions plus how to ice climb." Cadence said.

"Ok Cadence." Twilight said with a smile.

"Alright, so we'll leave in the morning as the sun first rises." Rock said.

"Understood." The Mane 6 said.

Smiling Rock and Solid lead The Mane 6 to a presentation room. Pinkie gives Flurry back to Shining Armor and heads off to her friends. For the rest of the afternoon and well into the evening, The Mane 6 learns how to survive in the frozen tundra, how to climb ice walls safely, safety measures for ice climbing and what to do if they get separated from the group. They are then given a test with the stipulation that no pony, or dragon, can leave without getting a 95%. Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and Applejack all ace the test their first time. Pinkie and Fluttershy get it their second time. Rarity and Spike all have the hardest time nailing it and after several attempts finally ace it as well. Afterward, all 9 of them are treated to a royal banquet with Cadence, Shining and Flurry. That night they are all given separate rooms to sleep in. Twilight has a hard time falling asleep because of how excited she is but after some time she does fall asleep.

The Next Morning: June 19th, 04:15:25

In the morning the ponies wake up and gather in the royal dining hall to eat their breakfast. Twilight is extremely excited as she eats her pancakes. After eating the ponies return to their room and begin to get dressed in heavy winter clothing on. They all are wearing the same thing, a heavy coat that matches the respective pony that is wearing it over layers of thermal shirts, layers of thermal leggings under thick thermal pants, heavy gloves and heavy boots. Twilight, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash all fold their wings against their backs as the heavy coat covers their wings, now they can't fly but it keeps their wings from freezing. They then all meet at the northern Crystal Arch just as Princess Luna begins to set the moon and Princess Celestia raises the sun. The Mane 6 and Spike meet Rock and Solid at the arch.

"Good morning everypony. I hope you all slept well." Rock said with a smile.

"We all did, Thank you," Twilight said with a smile.

"Excellent. Now we're just waiting for the last 2." Solid says and pulls back his watch and looks at the time, it reading 05:23:49.

"Other 2?" They all say. Twilight realizes who they are and sighs.

"Oh, here they come," Rock says with a smile. All the ponies turn around and see Cadence and Shining Armor running up to them. They catch up, panting, and look at them. Cadence is wearing a pink heavy coat and pants, Shining wears a white coat and pants.

"We're so sorry for our lateness. We had a hard time getting Flurry Heart to calm down with the caretakers until Sunburst arrives." Cadence says.

"Cadence, Shining, are you 2 really going to come with us?" Twilight asked.

"Of course we are. This is a massive discovery and part of my kingdom. As its Princess, I must bear witness to this monumental event. My ministers and aids will be running the kingdom while I'm gone, which shouldn't be more than a few days." Cadence says.

"I see. That is understandable and I hope they do a good job in your stead." Twilight says.

"They are all trusted advisors. I have faith in them." Cadence said with a smile. Twilight smiles back and nods. Rock claps his hands a few times and the ponies line up shoulder to shoulder.

"Good. Now everypony is here. Listen up. We'll be walking for quite some time. It'll be about the early afternoon when we arrive at the base of the cliff. Then we HAVE to arrive at base camp by nightfall. The cliff is 1 mile high. We'll have to move fast yet carefully in order to reach the summit before nightfall." Rock says.

"What if we don't reach the summit before nightfall?" Applejack asks.

"We have a small camp at the base of the mountain. If we don't reach the summit we can stay there for the night." Rock said. The ponies nod and smile. "Good. Then are we all in agreement and ready to go?"

"We're ready!" Everyone says.

"Then let's go." Rock says.

They all begin to walk the Crystal Empire-Yakyakistan highway road. As soon as they leave the safety of the Crystal Heart's barrier, they're hit full force by the blizzard. For a few hours, they travel the road but then take a detour off it and towards the west side of Mount Everhoof. As they walk off the road the blizzard gets worse. They all pull their neck gaiters over their face and pull their goggles down over their eyes. They continue on as they all follow Rock and Solid. At noon they all stop at a tall snowbank and sits under the slope and break out rations for a quick lunch. Rock, Solid and Twilight have fun discussing what may lay inside the structure. Soon they all finish and continue on. At 14:34:12 they all reach the base of the mountain. Rock talks with the camp manager to ensure everything is ok and when the manager assures him they walk over to the ice wall. They look up and can barely see the summit.

"Wow. So there's a lake all the way up there and an ancient structure at the bottom?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Indeed there is. Its exciting isn't it?" Rock said.

"Uh...yeah. Sure. Exciting. Well, I'm just here for the adventure. Not really for the discovery." Rainbow Dash answered.

"Hm. Well, here comes the more dangerous part of the adventure. I hope everyone remembers the lesson from yesterday." Rock said. All the ponies nod and begin to prepare to climb. They put on harnesses, crampons, belay devices, helmets, and their ice axes. Rock nods and is handed a radio by the bottom camp manager and he radios the top.

"Bottom camp to summit base, this is Rock Knowledge. Does anypony copy?" Rock says. A few seconds of static follow then somepony answers.

"This is Opal Digger, we read you loud and clear professor. Welcome back." A mares voice said.

"Thank you, Opal. I need to know if the lifeline is secured. I have royalty, the Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious, and the elements of harmony and I'd rather not have the rope break with them on it." Rock says.

"Understood. Let me go and check it." Opal said and leaves to check on the rope. A few minutes later, and the radio comes back to life. "The rope was frayed sir. We've got a replacement and sending it down now. Watch your heads." Opal says and a few minutes later and a fresh new rope hits the ground. The old rope is soon being brought up to the summit.

"Thanks, Opal. You're the best. Be up in a bit." Rock said and attaches his belay device to the new rope and looks back at The Mane 6. "Everypony and dragon ready?" Rock askes.

The others begin to attach their belay devices to the rope and nod. Rock smiles and takes out his ice axes and begins to climb. The rest soon begins to follow. Twilight is second, followed by Spike, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Cadence, Shining Armor and finally Solid Ice. For a few hours, they keep climbing towards the top. A few times, someone slips up and nearly falls but the belay device immediately stops them from falling into the pony or dragon below them. After helping them back to their axes they continue on and soon reached the top of the summit at 18:34:52. They reached the top just in time as the Sun is setting and the moon is rising. Rock helps everyone up and over the ledge. The wind stops as the mountain creates a natural barrier. Snow falls as the ponies and Spike looks out over the frozen lake. They all pull down their neck gaiter and pushes up their goggles to take a good look. The lake is large and wide yet they can still see the distant side of the shore.

"So, below this ice lake, is the structure we seek?" Twilight asked.

"Correct. However, we do not possess the necessary equipment to reach the structure and teleporting into it is a bad idea since we don't know what's inside of there." Rock said.

"Why not use a submarine?" Rainbow Dash asks.

"Well, that's extremely dangerous. Bringing a submarine, even a small one, onto the ice is dangerous itself and making a hole big enough to fit the sub is also dangerous. Even if we could get it on the ice and into the water and take it down, I don't think there's a dock for subs down there." Rock said.

"Hm. True. You've got a point." Rainbow Dash said.

"Right. Now that's all for today. We can't do too much with the moon high in the sky. We can continue in the morning. Is everypony ok with that?" Rock said. They all agree. "Good. We have cabins set up. You'll all feel warm there. Solid, could you show them, please?"

"Of course professor. This way, please." Solid said. He leads The Mane 6 and Spike to the cabins just as the ponies turn on floodlights so everypony can move about. Solid takes them to an 8 pony cabin with 4 bunk beds, a heater, sockets, and a table. "We tried to spruce it up a bit for you all. I hope it's to your liking." Solid said as The Mane 6 walks in and looks around.

"Well, considering where we are and how remote this place is, I must say it's like a 5-star hotel." Twilight says with a smile and the others agree. Solid smiles as a worker bring in their belongings and leaves. "I'll notify you when dinner is ready. Please make yourselves at home here."

"We will. Thanks, Solid." Twilight said and Solid leaves, closing the door. Once the door closes, the room immediately warms up to a nice warm temperature as the walls are heavily insulated. The ponies begin to claim their beds and settle in with Rainbow Dash and Applejack in one bunk, Twilight and Rarity in another, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie in theirs and Spike gets his own. As they settle in, they all talk about their experiences thus far and discuss what's going to happen next. A few minutes later there's a knock and a silver Crystal Earth Pony mare enters and closes the door.

"I'm sorry for the disturbance everypony and Great and Honorable Spike. I am Opal Digger, the pony in charge of equipment and the camp itself. It's an honor to meet you all." Opal says with a smile and bows to them.

"Thank you, Opal. Also, thank you for the new rope earlier." Twilight said with a smile.

"Of course Princess Twilight, I wouldn't want some of Equestria's biggest celebrities to fall and perish. Princess Celestia would banish us to Tartarus for that." Opal says.

"Well, banishment to Tartarus sounds a little extreme for a mistake but Princess Celestia wouldn't let our death do unpunished." Twilight said jokingly. Opal giggles and smiles at them and stands back up.

"Thank you, Princess Twilight. Now, I came in to tell you that Dinner is ready and waiting in the lounge cabin for you all an I am to escort you to it." Opal says with a smile.

"Alright then. Let's get ready. Were starved." Twilight said and everyone else agrees.

They put their coats and gloves back on and follows Opal to the lounge cabin. They enter and 2 long with lots of chairs line the middle of the lounge. A kitchen is blocked off in the back. In the front of the lounge are a ping-pong table, darts board on the wall, a card table and a couch. Already many of the research and labor ponies are inside talking and awaiting their meals. They all take notice of the Elements of Harmony and their hero and rush over. Soon all 7 of them are surrounded by the staff as they shake hands and accept congratulations. They are all soon sat down at the left table with Spike sitting at the far end of the table with Rarity, Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie and Fluttershy sit to his left. Opal sits across from Applejack and everyone begins to talk with them. Soon Cadence, Shining Armor, and Rock enter the cabin and they walk over and sits to Spikes right with Cadence sitting across from Twilight, Shining next to her and Rock between Shining and Opal. Soon the chefs come out and begin to serve bowls of soup with pieces of bread. Everyone gets a single large bowl of soup and a piece of bread with cups of water to drink. They begin to eat and chat.

"So, when should we wake up to start work?" Twilight asks Rock.

"Work for us is normally begins at 8:30 sharp. But as you and your friends are guests, you may wake up any time you please." Rock said.

"I see. Thank you for your consideration." Twilight said with a smile. Rock nods and smiles.

Everyone soon finishes and since work is finished for the day, they remain in the lounge to talk and play. Applejack soon finds herself in a darts rivalry with Opal and Pinkie. Rainbow Dash soon has a winning streak at the cards table only for her to be beaten by Solid Ice. Rarity gets into fashion and beauty talk with some of the Crystal pony mares. Fluttershy talks with some conservation ponies. Cadence, Shining, Spike, Rock, and Twilight discuss tomorrow's plans on how to find the entrance and what may lay beneath. Soon it gets late and ponies begin to head to their cabins to turn in for the night. Soon Twilight and the Mane 6 say good night to Cadence, Shining and Rock, and heads back to their cabin. When they arrive they begin to change into their nightclothes, with Spike facing the wall in the back blushing hard as he changes too. They all lay down on their beds and talk until they all fall asleep.

The Next Morning: 7:30:34

With the sun in the sky and the moon gone, Rock Knowledge, Solid Ice, the research, and labor ponies begin to wake up and get breakfast at the lounge cabin. Meanwhile, The Mane 6, Cadence, and Shining are still asleep. The ponies begin to reset their equipment up and begin their analysis on trying to find their way down and in. After some time, at 9:12:45, the Mane 6 and Crystal royalty begin to wake up and begin to get dressed, putting their layered clothes on and coat and all 7 of them head to the lounge cabin to eat. Twilight is excited to get to work today. Once they enter the see Cadence and Shining are already awake and waiting for breakfast. Cadence is the first to spot them.

"Good morning, everypony. Sleep well?" Cadence asks as Rarity enters last and closes the door.

"We did, thank you Cadence." Twilight said. They sat with the Crystal Empire royalty as the chef came out and sees Twilight and The Mane 6.

"Oh. Princess Twilight. Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious. The Elements of Harmony. I didn't know you all had entered. I will immediately begin to cook you all breakfast." The crystal pony chef says.

"It's ok, we just arrived. Please take your time." Twilight said with a smile as the chef sets down Cadence and Shining Armor's breakfast and heads back into the kitchen to cook for The Mane 6. They all sit down and wait for their food, they all chat. Soon the meals are served with the ponies getting pancakes and Spike gets roasted gems. They begin to eat and chat. At 10:32:33 they all finish with their breakfast.

"Once again, that was delicious." Rarity says as she pats her mouth with a napkin.

"Indeed. The soup last night was exceptionally good and these pancakes are extremely delicious." Twilight said

"Thank you for your kind words, Princess Twilight. I'll be sure to hold up to your expectations." The chef says happily as he gathers the plates and takes them to the kitchen. Cadence smiles and holds Shinings' hand then looks at Twilight and the others.

"So, shall we get to work?" Cadence says to The Mane 6. They all excitedly agree and stand. They get their coats on and leave. They head towards the lake and see Opal Digger and a few labor ponies on the shore tending to some cables. Opal looks up and sees The Mane 6, and Crystal Royalty walking towards her. She stands up and bows to them.

"Good morning everypony, and Great and Honorable Spike. I hope you all slept well." Opal said and smiles as she stands back up.

"We did, thank you very much. Is Rock Knowledge or Solid Ice around?" Twilight said

"Yes, they are. They, and many of the others, are out on the ice. Just follow these cables." Opal said.

"Right. Thank you very much, Opal." They all wave to her as they walk onto the snow-covered ice and follow the cables. A few hundred meters onto the ice they find the research ponies at work with scanning equipment from normal sonars to high tech X-ray machines for deep viewing. They walk over with many of the ponies too busy to notice them. Soon they spot Rock Knowledge working with Solid Ice on a sonar machine. They walk over and pats Rock on his shoulder. He flinches and looks back in surprise and sees Twilight and the others. Applejack and Rainbow Dash are snickering from his flinch.

"Oh. Princess Twilight, Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious, The Elements of Harmony, Princess Cadence, and Captain Armor. I'm so sorry. I had no idea you all were here." Rock said taking a few deep breaths. Twilight giggles and smiles at Rock.

"I'm really sorry Rock. I didn't mean to surprise you." Twilight said with a smile.

"It's ok. Thank you for coming." Rock says as he straightens himself.

"So, any luck in finding a way in?" Twilight asks, becoming more excited.

"Unfortunately, no. Nothing it makes no sense. The is no entrance. Come, take a look at this ma'am." Rock says and leads the ponies to the X-ray machine. "This X-Ray machine is designed for taking high-quality pictures from deep underground. But, this is the picture we got." Rock presses a button on the machine and an image of the facility below appears on a large screen. "As you can see the buildings below are just down there. Nothing else. It's mind-boggling. No doors. No lifts to the surface. Just..........nothing." He says and twilight leans in and looks at the picture in more detail and notices something.

"I think, that's because you're looking in the wrong place, Professor." Twilight says. This surprises Rock and everypony that hears it. Rock Knowledge leans in to look at the image to see what Twilight is talking about.

"What are you talking about Princess Twilight?" Rock asks.

"Right here. This part of the facility. It backs up to the mountain wall." Twilight said and points to the rectangle section of the ship. Just as Twilight said, the X-ray image shows the rectangle section connected to the wall of the mountain.

"You're right, Princess. But what makes you think that the entrance would be there? I mean it makes sense, but still." Rock said curiously.

"Well, if you think about it, it's highly logical. If you want to hide an object, move the entrance away from the complex, and it'll be hard to find it." Twilight said confidently. Rock stands back up to think.

"You make a strong point Princess Twilight. Hm..........well, there's no harm in trying. Let us find out." Rock said happily. Twilight looks back and smiles at Rock excitedly.

"Right. If I'm reading this correctly, the building connects to the mountain right in the middle." Twilight said. Rock nods and looks at all the ponies.

"You heard the princess. Pack everything up and begin to move it towards the mountain. Neighlas." Rock began to command and turns to a young crystal pony student who stands up at attention. "I need you to run and tell Opal and the others of what is going on. Have her make preparations to move the camp if we need it to be moved." The young stallion nods and salutes and runs off towards the shore and camp. The other ponies begin to pack up the equipment and prepare to move to the mountain. Rock Knowledge, Solid Ice, The Mane 6, and Crystal Royalty start off first. They reach the mountain first and begin to look it over to find a way in. With no success, Twilight fires a pulse of magic into the mountainside to scan the interior and smiles when she gets the results.

"I found it! It's this way!" Twilight called out and began to walk to the far side of the mountain. The others follow and soon they reach the side and Twilights feels around and smiles. "Here. Right here is where we can enter. There's a door behind this wall with a corridor that heads down to the seafloor."

"Well, how do you propose we get to it, Princess Twilight? One false snow shift could cause an avalanche." Solid Ice asked. Twilight gives him a smirk.

"Like this." Twilight said a bit smugly. Her horn lights up and she blasts the ice with her magic. The purple magic beam cuts into the ice and Twilight begins to move the beam and cut out a chunk of the ice. The chunk of ice is large and Twilight uses her magic to slowly pull the block of ice out to reveal a double metal door. The ponies look at it astonished.

"Incredible. All this time. And it was right here. Under our noses." Rock said.

"Can we open it?" Solid ice asked a bit concerned.

"Well, let's see if we can." Twilight said and walks to the door and knocks on it a few times.

"Were you expecting somepony to answer?" Solid said a bit smugly. Rainbow Dash chuckles a bit.

"No. I was listening for sound distortions. It seems to be that the door has 16 bar locks on the inside of the doors. 8 on the top, 8 on the bottom." Twilight said.

"And no keyhole on the outside. How do we open it?" Rock said as he, Cadence and Shining come over to take a look. They stare at the door for quite a while. During that time the rest of the research and labor ponies catch up. Spike, Solid Ice, and The Mane 6 are standing around while Twilight, Rock, Cadence, and Shining are still examining the door.

"Ugh. This is so boring. How long does it take just to open 1 simple door?" Rainbow said and kicks a fluff of snow.

"Longer than you think RD. This isn't a Daring Do story. This is reality and this takes time." Twilight said sternly.

"Ugh. I don't care. It's cold and I'm bored as Tartarus." Rainbow Dash said and high kicks the ice wall next to the doors. This alarms every one as a few chunks of ice break off.

"RAINBOW DASH!! Be careful! The shift in any of this ice could cause an avalanche." Twilight said sternly.

"Well, I think I just found something." Rainbow Dash said. Curious the other ponies walkover and takes a look. Just under the ice, half-buried with a small part of it exposed from Rainbow Dash's kick, is a metal panel with a large metal button.

"What's this? A switch panel?" Twilight said and used her magic to uncover the rest.

"Indeed it does look like one." Cadence says.

"Maybe it'll open the door." Rock said.

"Well, let's give it a try." Twilight said. The ponies swallow hard as Twilight presses on the switch. A loud clang comes from the door and it squeaks the top 8 bars on the top retract into the wall. The ponies listen to it as the bars stop.

"Not bad Rainbow Dash. You found one of the keys." Twilight said. The other ponies give Rainbow Dash smiles of appreciation. Rainbow Dash has a huge smile on and chuckling to herself. "Now, we just need to activate the other switch. Which is..." Twilight activates her magic and does a thorough scan and finds the other switch. "Over there." Twilight points to the other side of the door. Rainbow Dash runs over and immediately kicks the ice again. It breaks off and exposes the next switch. She presses the switch and once again the door gives a loud clang and the bars squeal as they are retracted into the wall.

"Is it done? Can we enter?" Cadence said excitedly. They watch as the doors slide open. One goes right, the other sliding left. The doors open to a straight, metal corridor.

"I-I guess we can." Rock said a bit nervous. Twilight, Cadence, and Rock are given large flashlights. They turn them on and head in. As they walk down the corridor Twilight, Cadence, and Rock lead them. The corridor is long and blank with the only decoration being weld markings. Soon they come to a large cargo elevator. The elevator doors open as they near it.

"I see. So this is how we get down to the facility. Before we go let's get all the equipment and staff and head down." Rock said.

Agreeing they all turn and leave. As they walk away from the elevator the doors close. They head out and back to base camp. There they talk With Opal and she agrees about moving everything inside. As the ponies begin to pack everything up Rock gets on the radio and talks to the mountain base camp manager to inform him that they are about to enter the facility. He confirms but he says he's going to return to the Crystal Empire. Rock acknowledges and helps the others out on packing the camp up. After a few hours, everything is inside and placed on the cargo lift. By 15:54:23 everything and everyone is on the lift. Twilight hits the down button and the lift doors close and the lift heads down. As the lift descends all the ponies begin to talk to each other. Twilight is particularly giddy and super happy. After some time the lift hits the bottom. The doors open up to a long hall which is cold and before anyone can exit Pinkie Pie jumps out first.

"First!!" Pinkie happily yells as she leaps over everyone and exits the lift. She lands on one hoof then there's a loud crunch noise and Pinkie immediately freezes in place. Twilight flicks on her flashlight and aims it as where her hoof landed and her face, as well as many other ponies faces, go blue.

"Pinkie. Listen to me carefully. Step back slowly. And whatever you do, do NOT look..." Twilight said but, too late, Pinkie looks down at her hoof and she lifts it up to reveal shes stepped on a bone. She goes blue in the face too before screaming and jumping into Applejacks' arms, shivering hard. A labor pony turns on a high powered flashlight and shines it down the hall. To everyone's horror, they see many skeletons lining the walls of the hall.

"H-how? How did ponies get in hear before us?" Cadence said in horror. Twilight looks down at the skeleton that Pinkie stepped on and then walks to it and looks at the skeleton.

"These aren't ponies. I think we really ARE the first ponies here." Twilight said. This snaps many of the ponies out from their horror-stricken daze and looks at Twilight.

"Why do you say that, Twilight?" Cadence says.

"Well, these creatures have a different physiology than us. Look." Twilight said. Curious The Mane 6, Crystal Royalty, Rock, and Solid take a look. "The head is different. It has no snout. It's just flat." The ponies lean in as Twilight examines the creature's head. "Also, the teeth on the creature. It as 2 pairs of canine teeth. 2 on the top, 2 on the bottom. And then the legs as well. They only have 3 pronounced joints, at the hip, knee, and ankle. Unlike us who have 4 pronounced joints. And finally, they have feet with 5 toes. As far as I know, there is no creature like that, at least in this world."

"Incredible. To think that such a creature existed. They must have been the ones who built this facility." Rock said.

"But if these creatures created the facility, then where did they come from and how are their bones still here? Shouldn't the have decayed away?" Cadence asks.

"Under normal circumstances but this cold must have preserved the bones." Rock said but then notices Twilight has a look of nostalgia yet curiosity on it. "Princess? Is everything alright?"

"Huh? Oh. Yes. I'm fine. Just in deep thought of what creature this is." Twilight said. "I recommend we get some bodybags and respectfully take these bodies up for burial. But make a few casts and models so we can study them."

Rock nods and writes it down and the group moves on, leaving most of the equipment on the lift. As they move down the corridor they make sure not to step on any more bones. As they step over the bones they notice that some of the bodies seem to be hugging each other. Past lovers and families who died together. As they walk they open any doors they can. Many of the doors lead to bedrooms, storage, kitchens, entertainment areas, and finally a maintenance area with a generator. Rock has a few ponies stay behind to examine the rooms. He tasks the last few ponies to the maintenance room with their main job to get the generators on. This leaves The Mane 6, Crystal Royalty, Rock Knowledge, Solid Ice, and Opal Digger. They make their way down the hall and finally to the last door. It's a large double door. Spike, Shining Armor Rock Knowledge, and Solid Ice pry them open. They enter it and the domed rectangle section but it's too dark to see, but they can tell by the way the air moves that the entire section is open. Just as they stop, one of the labor ponies manages to get the generator running, restoring power to the entire facility. Extremely bright headlights come on over the ponies and on the floor temporarily blinding them. All 12 of them rub their eyes, turn away from the lights, and blink as their eyes adjust.

"Ow. Ok. That smarts. I'm going to kill whoever did that." Rainbow Dash said as she lands and lets her eyes adjusted. She looks up as the others look up and their eyes adjust too.

"Don't blame them. They had no idea we were in here or that those lights would turn on." Rock said as he gives his eyes one last rub and a few more blinks. Then every one of the notices they are all in the shadow of something and turn around. Their jaws drop as they cannot believe what they are seeing.

"W-what. In the world. Is that?" Rainbow Dash asks.

"Ah have no idea." Applejack said.

"Is......is it a ship?" Fluttershy asked.

"Maybe. But I've never seen a ship like this before." Pinkie Pie said.

"I-its a beautiful looking ship no matter what though." Rarity said.

"It's a warship I think." Shining Armor said.

"And its been here for way over a thousand years." Solid Ice said.

"But how did it get here?" Cadence asked.

"Indeed. This is a lake. Cut off for miles with no rivers nearby so it couldn't have sailed here." Rock Knowledge said.

"Maybe it was placed here by the creatures we saw. Like they cut off the water to this place or flooded the facility." Spike said.

"It flew here." Twilight said. Everyone looks at her as she takes a few steps forward and smiles. "It's a Starship."

The structure turns out to be a large starship. It looks like an old battleship sitting on some clamps that hold it in place. At the bow, it has a large bulbous bow protrusion. Above it, on the prow of the ship, is a ginormous hole for what looks to be a giant gun port. 2 anchors adorn the bow, with 1 on each side of the ship. 6 closed ports for what look like torpedo doors can be seen on the bow as well. A large bulge is on the top deck of the bow. Further down are 2 of the main turrets followed by a secondary turret, all of them carrying 3 guns with the first 2 turrets having a bigger caliber than the secondary turret obviously. In between the first and second turret, on the hull are 2 observation domes with 3 rectangular windows on them.
Midship is the ship's superstructure with a tall main foremast housing most of the ships' bridges and radar scanners. Behind that is a rectangle smokestack with vertically launched missiles in it angled towards the stern a bit. Behind the smokestack are 3 antennas, the tallest one in the middle has a V-shaped sprout at the top, 2 smaller antenna flank it, 1 on each side and they are angled outward away from the main antenna, all 3 are angled towards the stern. Below the superstructure are dozens of small caliber Anti-aircraft guns bunched up together. Some of them are in quad mounts but most of them are in twin mounts. Below the guns are 16 missile launchers in the hull, 8 per side. Below the keel of the ship is what appears to be a third bridge shaped in a D-shaped, the rounded side facing tooward the bow, saucer with 2 side antennas and more vertical launched missiles that launch downward. A little ways back, on the lower hull side, are 2 half capsule structures, both with a shutter-like piece in the middle of them.
At the stern lies the second, secondary turret and third main turret. 2 fighter catapults are also present on the stern of the ship as well. 6 more torpedo tube doors run along the sides, 3 per side. Finally, a huge main thruster takes up most of the stern with secondary thrusters below the main one. 3 fins protrude out front of the nozzle, with one on top, and the rest below the ship near the waterline. Most of the ship is painted gray with only the tip of the smokestack and the bottom half of the hull, where the waterline would stop, is painted red.

Chapter 2: The Alien Space Battleship Called Yamato

Location: A secret underground facility near the Crystal Empire - Yakyakistan border
Date/Time: June 20th, 18:14:23

Flabergasted and with their jaws still open, The Mane 6, Crystal Royalty, Professor Rock Knowledge, his star student Solid Ice, and the expeditions Chief Labor pony, Opal Digger stare at the giant warship they have just discovered. Months of trying to get in and now Rock Knowledge and Solid Ice are staring at what they've been seeking. As power returns to the facility, heating units come on to warm up the facility, and wires attached to the ship begin to power it up. They stare as lights on the ship come on and there's a hiss coming from the third bridge. The ponies stare as 2 airlocks depressurize, causing dust and smoke to spew out and 2 ramps lower to the ground. Stairs unfold out and lights shine down on them. Finally, Twilight snaps out of her daze, swallows, and speaks first.

"I guess this means we can come aboard." Twilight said.

"So it would seem." Rock knowledge says as he too returns to reality. The others return to reality, nodding, and agreeing. Rock feels the heat and realizes that it won't stay freezing for much longer.
"Ok everypony. With the power restored the heaters seem to have turned on. Let's take our coats off so we don't fry. Wouldn't want any of us to have a heat stroke." The ponies giggle and begin to take off their heavy coats and thermal underclothes until they are down to their last undershirt and under leggings. They set them in a pile and stretch their joints. Rock gets on his radio and contacts the rest of the expedition.
"Attention everypony, Solid Ice, Opal Digging, The Elements of Harmony, our Crystal Royalties, and the Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious will be going dark for a bit. I want 5 unicorns to teleport back to the Crystal Empire and pick up body bags, sheetings, anything that can transport a body. We'll need a lot. At least 1000. " Twilight then takes the radio from Rock Knowledge.

"Do NOT forget to be respectful to the bodies. They were all once alive and warriors at one point. Also, please mark the bags and sheets so we can identify them. Make sure that if any of the bodies look like their part of a family that you mark the bags so we can reunite the bodies." Twilight said. 5 crystal unicorns agree and head back up top to teleport back to the Crystal Empire.

The 12 ponies then head to the back of the third bridge. They look up the stairs and into the ship. They all swallow hard and one by one head up the port side ramp. The cold metal steps clank against their boots with every step. They all make it to the deck and into the ship, overhead lights shine down on a door at the end of the hall.

"Not much for looks for an entrance. Well, I guess I shouldn't expect much beauty from a warship." Rarity comments.

"Don't be quick to judge, Miss Rarity. We are just at the entrance." Rock says though still in shock, he is quite excited. They come to the door that has a logo on it and Rock and Twilights eyes widen. "Now, THIS is curious. Equestrian writing. On an alien ship."

Indeed, the logo on the door has Equestrian writing on it. The logo is a circle with a circle of 2 olive branches on the inside. Inside the circle of olive branches is a circle with the Equestrian words with the top and bottom lines reading the same thing but the top is spelled backward. The words read: The Symbol of Earth Federation. Lastly, the core of the circle is comprised of a solar system with 8 planets, 4 on each side, 2 of them have rings, 1 of the rings, on the third planet, has a dot on it representing a possible moon.

"The Symbol of Earth Federation? Whats the Earth Federation? Whats Earth anyways?" Rainbow Dash says.

"I don't know. I've never heard of it." Twilight said.

"Wooooooooow. For once the egghead doesn't have an answer. I'm surprised." Rainbow Dash says sarcastically. Twilight Glares at Rainbow but Shining Armor stops them before they can fight.

"Ok ok, you 2. Break it up. No fighting. This is a big moment." Shining says. Sighing Twilight nods and holds out her hand. Rainbow Dash smiles and shakes it.

"Sorry about that. We cool?" Rainbow Dash says.

"Yeah. We're cool. Now, let's go find out what this ship is, and what it's doing here." Twilight said and Rainbow Dash nods. Cadence smiles and pushes the button on a control panel. A elevator door slides open. The ponies step into the elevator and squeeze in. The buttons for the elevator's destinations are on the right side of the elevator.

"Where should we go?" Cadence asks.

"I suggest the first bridge. It must house the controls for the ship. We get those up and online, we control the ship." Rock said.

The ponies agree and Cadence presses the button that takes them up to the first bridge. The elevator doors close and the elevator starts up. They all wait and after a few seconds, the elevator stops and the doors slide open. The lights on the bridge are on. As they step in the bridge is very spacious, far more so than any Royal Equestrian naval ship. The edges of the bridge are lined with blank monitors and stations for 9 crew members, 3 stations line both the port and starboard walls, and 3 stations at the bow windows. In the middle of the bridge is a semi-spherical indentation and 2 more stations are next to the small indentation, 1 one each side of it. Finally at the back of the bridge is a single station on a raised platform. Above all the stations, just above the bow window, is a large video monitor. The ponies all stare in amazement.

"So, this is the bridge of an alien ship. It looks like a normal ship's bridge just more futuristic." Shining Armor said.

"True. But I bet there is a difference in design philosophy between us and the species that built this vessel." Cadence said.

"We'll see." Shining said and smiles at Cadence

"Now then, let's find out how to power these monitors up." Rock said. Nodding the ponies split up and everypony sits at a station. As Rainbow sits she feels as if she's being watched. She turns around and she spots a sculptor bust of an alien.

"Hey. Rock, Twilight. What's that?" Rainbow Dash asks and points to the bust.

Everyone looks at what Rainbow Dash is pointing to. Above the back station is a large bust sculpture of a creature. It has a bushy rounded beard that covers half its face, a flat face with no snout but it does possess a pronounced nose. The figure wears a naval commanders' cap with a naval commander's coat. The medals on the cap and the collar of the coat are an anchor insignia with an olive branch underneath each of the anchor's flukes. Twilight floats up to take a closer look.

"This is curious. Its facial structure is the same as the skulls we found at the facilities entrance. This is what the creators look like." Twilight says. The ponies all look at her and the sculpture in amazement.

"So this is what they looked like?" Cadence asked.

"That's my guess. The shape of the face matches the shape of the skull we found." Twilight answers. The ponies look at the bust as Twilight floats down and looks at the bust. "It must have been a great subject of extreme importance."

"You think that it may have been the ship's first captain?" Solid Ice asked.

"I can see that. I've heard of famous ships honoring their former captains that way." Shining Armor said.

"Well, let's see if we can find the ship's logs and history. That'll explain everything." Cadence says. Agreeing they all return to the stations that they chose. They all begin to work trying to get their stations online. After a while, while working at the rear elevated station, Rarity finally starts up her console by accident. She flinches in surprise and looks up at the others as their consoles power up too.

"The systems. The ship. It's booting up." Rock said and looks at Rarity and he grins widely at her. "You did it Miss Rarity! Very nice!" Rarity looks at him shocked then triumphantly smiles in a boastful way.

"But of course I got it to work. It's me after all." Rarity said boastfully. The rest of The Mane 6 roll their eyes and snicker. When the ship's computers finish booting up and a program activates. The elevator doors lock, the lights dim, and metal shutters cover the bridge windows making it dark like a movie theater.

"Hey! What's going on?" Spike said. Shining runs to the elevator and presses the elevators button multiple times yet the door doesn't open.

"Oh come on. Please don't do this to us." Shining complained. He begins to pull on the door to try and open it. Spike runs over and helps Shining try and open the door but to no avail. Fluttershy holds Applejack's arm.

"Are we trapped in here forever? Are we going to die here?" Fluttershy asks, scared out of her mind and clinging to Applejack's arm.

"No Shy, we ain't gonna die in 'ere. We'll make it out one way or another." Applejack says, trying to comfort Fluttershy.

"Nice going Rarity! Now we're trapped in here because of you." Rainbow Dash said angrily and Rarity looks down, dejected.

"Miss Rainbow Dash, Miss Rarity didn't know what was going to happen. She couldn't have. Don't blame her." Rock Knowledge said.

"Well.......I.......your right. I'm sorry Rarity." Rainbow Dash said.

"It's ok Rainbow Dash. I know you didn't mean to lash out at me like that. You're just as much scared as the rest of us." Rarity said accepting Rainbow Dash's apology. The others laugh as Rainbow Dash blushes in embarrassment.

"I-I am NOT scared. I may be nervous but I am NOT scared." Rainbow Dash said embarrassingly.

All the ponies laugh and smile with Rainbow Dash soon joining in. As they laugh the video monitor above them comes to life. They stop laughing as the monitor comes on. The ponies stop laughing and gather up in the center around the 2 center consoles and the floor indentation. The monitor comes up and focuses on a creature similar to the creature modeled after the bust. While wearing the same overcoat and hat, the creature's facial structure is different and instead of a nice, well-kept bushy beard, the creature has a spikey and messy beard. His mane and beard are brown and the creature has tan skin. The creature's eyes and eyebrows are also brown. Soon strange words begin to appear on the screen one by one:

All the ponies watch in curiosity as the words pass by. But soon words appear in equestrian: If you can read this, Repeat it.

"If you can read this, repeat it? What for?" Twilight said as she reads the text. The screen beeps and the text glows green. The words on the screen are replaced by: "Language selection detected. Modifying video...."

"Well, there's your answer Twilly. It's to make sure we can understand this message." Shining Armor said.

"I can see that, big brother. However, I'm more interested in how does an ancient, alien race know equestrian." Twilight says. This gets the others thinking too when the video starts up. The ponies look up as the creature in the video groans and coughs for a few seconds then straightens sup. It's clear that the creature is male and that he is sickly and elderly. He looks at the recording device and is sitting at the rear station along the stern wall.

"Greetings, our successors. If you are watching this video then that means you are to take up our will of protecting the galaxy." The creature talks in a hoarse and yet confident voice that sounds like a leader.

"It's truly speaking equestrian." Fluttershy said in amazement.

"But how is that possible?" Solid Ice says.

"My name is Susumu Kodai and I come from a race called the humans. Humanity comes from a star system called the Sol System and we lived on a planet called Earth." Kodai says. The ponies watch in amazement. Suddenly the indentation in the middle of the floor activates with a beep. The ponies stare at it as the center of the indentation glows and shoots out a large holographic image. The ponies back up as the image settles. The image spins around until the milky way galaxy is shown up and the image slowly spins.

"This......this is our galaxy." Cadence says astounded.

"Earth and the Sol System are located in the Gould Belt of the Orion Arm." Kodai continues and the Orion Arm of the galaxy is highlighted.

The hologram is then zooms in on the Orion Arm till a cloud of stars and nebulas appear. It then zooms in more on a specific star system. The system has 8 planets and 3 dwarf planets that orbit around a large G2V star. Half of the planets are separated by a belt of asteroids with 4 of the smaller planets on the inside of the asteroid belt and are terrestrial planets. The 4 larger planets are on the outside of the asteroid belt and the first 2 are gas giants with the last 2 being ice giants with all 4 planets being many times larger than the smaller ones.
The first planet is a small red planet near the star.
The second planet is a tad bit bigger than the first planet and is tan with some orange whisps.
The third planet is the same size but is more colorful with it being mostly blue, with white, green, and tan in some areas.
The fourth planet is smaller, about the same size as the first planet, with it being red with some black and white areas.
The fifth planet, the first gas giant, is the biggest planet with its color being a mixture of browns, whites, and tans it and having a great red spot.
The sixth planet is the second largest with a light orange with some tan and brown lines mixed in and it is surrounded by a ring of space dust and rocky debris.
The seventh planet, and the first ice giant, is smaller than the sixth but is pretty dull with it being light blue only.
The eighth planet is once again smaller than the last planet but this time is more colorful with the planet primary color being blue with many dark blue spots and tiny spots of white.
The 3 dwarf planets are pretty small even compared to the 4 terrestrial planets. One of them is a giant chunk of rock that orbits inside the asteroid belt, with it being duller than the seventh planet, it being colored gray and is filled with asteroid impact craters.
The next dwarf planet is the largest dwarf planet, orbiting just outside of the eighth planet, its surface is made of mostly ice thus it is mostly white with a black spot.
Finally, the last dwarf planet is the second-largest dwarf planet but is farther out from the sun than any other of the planets and dwarf planets. The dwarf planet is shaped and looks like the first dwarf planet, with it being a larger chunk of rock, gray, and riddled with asteroid impacts.

The ponies look in awe at the solar system as it looks like their own start system but without the dwarf planets. The hologram then zooms in on the third planet. The planet looks almost identical to their own planet of Equidainia. With several continents making up most of the landmasses of the world, large grassy plains and hills dominate most of the land, large bodies of oceanic water separating the landmasses, sandy beaches and cliffs line the edges of the oceans, polar ice caps at the north and south poles, a few deserts and canyons, 2 of the southern continent's housing large forests, several islands dot the oceans, and gigantic mountains and vast mountain ranges cover areas of the land.

"Earth. Our planet. Our home. For millions of years, Earth has sustained us and so much life. We did our best to take care of her. I won't deny that we did hurt her and began to suffocate the life out of her ourselves. But once the smoke and fire cleared we helped to heal her and advance. Soon all of humanity was united under the Earth Federation banner with the United Nations Cosmo Force being its military. The Cosmo Navy was established when humanity fully took to the stars. The Cosmo navy was the forefront of Earth's defenses. Hundreds of ships would patrol the Solar System." Kodai continued. The ponies watch in amazement as a huge fleet of 3 kinds of starships begins to leave the planet.
The largest ship has a bulbous shape with 3 large semispherical turrets, 2 on top, 1 on the bottom with 3 guns per turret. The bridge is on the topmost, second turret. 4 fins adorn the bow and go about a quart of the way down the ship with the topmost fin the tallest. At the back is a large antenna at the bow tip is a hole for a spinal mounted cannon.
The second-largest ship is slightly smaller, retains the bulbous shape, the 4 bowfins, and spinal mounted cannon.
The cannons are still semispherical and still have 2 on top, 1 on the bottom but they are 2 gun turrets and the bridge is stationary and not on the second turret which lies behind the bridge. The antenna is smaller and the ship has 2 of them.
The last, and smallest ship is different. The bow is in the shape of a hammerhead shark with a thick fin under the bowhead. The ship has 3 torpedo launch barrels behind the hammerhead bow on top of the ship with the ship's bridge behind them. The ship's cannons are 2 - 3 gun turrets with one on top, the other on the bottom. The antennas are now on the sides and are in a cross shape. 2 fines adorn the lower stern hull. All 3 classes of ships are painted red, white, and yellow. With their single thrusters engaged, the ships leave the planet's atmosphere. The ponies smile and watch in amazement as the fleet passes in between Solid Ice and Fluttershy and disappears into the stern wall. As soon as the ships are gone the ponies return to watching Kodai.

"Although we couldn't yet achieve faster than light travel, we managed to leave Earth." Kodai says with a smile. The ponies cheer with happiness but then Kodai's smile vanished. "But then, war broke out, with an alien race." The ponies stop cheering and look at the monitor as Kodai struggles to speak. "The Great Garmillas Empire. Lead by their Dictatorial Supreme Leader Abelt Dessler. They entered our system and we attacked them." Kodai says with sadness. The hologram changes to the second dwarf planet where green, capsule-like ships with large bulbous protrusions on them are engaging the UNCF Cosmo Navy fleet. Most of the ships are the same and possess a similar design to their UNCF opponents. With the ship's long, cylinder capsule shape, and possessing semispherical turrets. The biggest differences being they possess large lights at the front that make them look like eyes, large wings underneath the hull, turrets in side mounts, and different thrusters. The ships fire green beams at the UNCF ships and the UNCF fires red beams only. The UNCF beams bounce off the Garmillan ships but the Garmillans easily begin to decimate the UNCF fleet with only a few ships surviving.

"Not because they threatened us or because they fired first, but because of ego and distrust of them, from UNCF Military Director Kotetsu Serizawa. No warning signals were sent. No declaration was given. Only beam fire. And thus started 8 long years of hell for us. Loss after loss. Death after death, the Garmillians were relentless. The only relief we got was at the Second Battle of Mars where the Garmillas suffered their first defeat but we too lost most of our remain ships." The view once again changes, this time it changes to the fourth planet of the Solar System. There the warships once engage each other. The green alien ships fire on the UNCF ships but the Garmillan forces are soon defeated and begin to withdraw but not without loss with a large majority of the UNCF also lost.

"The Garmillans pulled back and began to use planet bombs to attack Earth directly. Meteorites were turned into bombs and they rained down on Earth. Turning our beautiful blue and green world, into an inhospitable, irradiated wasteland." The view now changes back to Earth. Suddenly a large, glowing meteorite passes in between Shining Armor and Cadence. The watch in horror as the impact and explosion easily decimates an entire capital city. The buildings, bridges, houses, and nearby parks are turned to dust. Even the oceans, lakes, and rivers dry up to nothing. The ponies watch in shock, horror, and disgust as the meteorite bombs turn the beautiful planet into an orange and brown dust ball where irradiate, mutant plants send out deadly spores. The ponies watch in disbelief as the planet begins to die.

"With the planet's surface no longer habitable, humanity moved underground and built underground cities to support us. But even then, we began to turn on each other. Soon many humans turned to despair and then to chaos. They staged terror attacks and ensued chaos out of fear. That was our life for 8 years. Nothing but death, chaos, and sadness." Kodai says somberly. The ponies watch this sadly as the hologram zooms in on Earth and into a tunnel that soon exits into an underground metropolitan. Even though it's a city, every corner you turn, it's run-down, filled with famine, unsanitary stuff, and sadness. Every human is just another human trying to survive. Then an explosion goes off as a terrorist stage a terror attack. The building is set ablaze as workers rush to put the flames out and civilians run in terror. The ponies watch in sadness with Opal Digger, Pinkie Pie, Twilight, Rarity, and Cadence are all brought to tears. Shining Armor, Spike, and Rock Knowledge look away. Solid Ice catches a woozy Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash and Applejack grit their teeth in disgust.

"However, hope was not lost." Kodai continued. The ponies look up at the monitor and Opal recovers and stands back up. "While some turned to despair, others didn't give up. The Earth Federation began making plans to evacuate the planet to a new planet. Thus they commissioned a new ship to find a new planet and begin evacuating survivors to it. However, better news came when Queen Starsha Iscandar from the planet Iscandar sent us a message saying she had a device that could reverse the effects of the planet bombs. We accepted and she sent us the Wave-Motion Core and plans to build a Wave-Motion Engine." Kodai says. The hologram changes as Kodai speaks. First to an extremely beautiful humanoid with a long blonde mane, long eyelashes, golden eyes, and pink lips. She wears a long white dress that even Rarity marvels at. The hologram then changes to an orange capsule with 8 bulbous protrusions on the ends, 4 on each side. It then tapers off to an orange-tinted glass body. Inside the glass body, both sides taper inward to a bar with several slits running along the bar's body. Rounded triangles line the inside of the body along the taper's edge which blinks in a circular fashion, counter rotates to each other. The ponies stare at the hologram as its small enough to hold in your palms of both your hands.

"The Wave-motion Core and the Wave-Motion Engine allowed for a ship to be capable of warping and faster than light speed. As well as achieve a sublight speed that surpassed all former UNCF ships. With the wave-motion technology imparted to us by Queen Starsha, and the new ship being retrofitted to be powered by the core, the ship was named Space Battleship Yamato." Kodai says and the ponies watch in awe and surprise as the ship they're standing in appears as a hologram. "With the ability to warp and with the ship housing top of the line weapons, defensive systems, and support systems, we began a nearly year-long journey to Iscandar and back." Kodai says. The hologram changes to the dying Earth where the Yamato, disguised as an older battleship, is buried below ground with only the bridge tower, smokestack, antenna, and 2 gun turrets visible above ground. A giant Garmillas interplanetary missile, in the shape of a bullet, heads straight for the Yamato but with everything ready, all personal aboard and all systems ready, the camouflage breaks off revealing the Space Battleship Yamato structure. The Yamato then raises from the ground, dirt, rocks, and mud fall off the Yamato as it raises up. Not wanting to leave earth to the missile, the Yamato maneuvers for a full broadside attack. All 5 turrets rotate and aim at the incoming missile and fire just as it's about to hit. The resulting explosion creates a giant mushroom cloud and the fireball consumes the Yamato. Everyone gasps and watches as the Yamato disappears. Soon the Yamato flies out of the smoke and dust cloud, having activated its wave-motion shields at the last second. The Yamato then proceeds to leave the surface and exits the atmosphere. It flies out and towards Shining. Shining instinctively ducks as it flies over him, all 3 thrusters are ablaze with orange flames spewing out of each nozzle. The ponies watch as the ship flies off and disappears into the wall. They then turn to the hologram where it changes from Earth to the Yamato in flight. The ponies look at it in awe.

"We had 1 year to reach Iscandar and bring the device called the Cosmo Reverse System back as it was the only means of restoring Earth to its former blue state. Thus we needed to reach the Salezar system in the Large Magellanic Cloud." Kodai says. The hologram changes back to the Milky Way galaxy. An arrow is drawn from where Earth is located to a satellite galaxy. The hologram then zooms in on the satellite galaxy and on a planet. The planet is like Earths and Equidainia but has more water covering the surface of the planet.

"Iscandar lies 168,000 light-years from Earth. We had to go there, retrieve the Cosmo Reverse System, and return in 1 year. However, the Garmillans would fight us every step of the way and prevent us from reaching Iscandar. In fact, in the same system, in the same orbit, laid Garmillan, homeworld to the Garmillas. Thus to reach Iscandar, we would have to fight Garmillans. But we had the steel and determination to do it. Of course, they also had our system on lockdown with 2 bases in our system. 1 in Jupiter's atmosphere and the other on the dwarf planet Pluto. The base on Jupiter was a huge floating continent." Kodai says and the hologram changes to the fifth planet. It zooms in on a particular part of the planet and to a huge continent-sized floating chunk of rock floats into view. On the top surface, it has a few mountains with a few lakes, and the entire surface is covered in trees and plants. The hologram zooms in on a hidden Garmillan military supply base. Only a few green-painted buildings are poking on the surface. The Yamato lands in a small lake and 4 small Garmillan ships charge at it. The Yamato fires a from 2 of the turrets and the beams hit one of the ships and destroy them while another turret fires artillery shells at the third ship and the ship crashes into the surface and then explodes while the last ship escapes. Soon the Yamato flies off but then turns and aims at the floating continent. The image changes to the Garmillan base and some beeping can be heard. As soon as the beeping stops the surrounding flora catches fire and a flash blinds the ponies and the base then explodes in a ball of flames and the ponies shield their eyes.

"We utilized the ship's main gun to destroy the base. It was............a success, in a matter of speaking." Kodai says with a small hint of sadness and regret. Twilight raises an eyebrow in suspicion. "After taking out the resupply base on Jupiter we made our way to the farthest extents of our system to the dwarf planet Pluto to take out their planet bomb facility. There they hid the Reflection Satellite Cannon, the device that turns asteroids into the planet bombs. We had to destroy the base, otherwise, we would have left Earth to more planet bombs." The hologram then changes to the second dwarf planet and zooms in on a bigger base with lots of buildings, several octuple anti-aircraft laser cannons, and huge holes that connect to an underground base for ships to use. Suddenly, a pink beam fires from below the ice from outside the base's perimeter, and satellites in low orbit direct the beam towards the Yamato sitting in a lake of water. The Yamato takes off and then lights the base up with artillery shells and Air-to-ground missiles. The shells and missiles rain down on the base and explode with great fire, some strike Garmillan ships as they escape and the shells explode so hard a single shell rips most of them in half or blows the ships into other ships. Only 4 ships manage to escape the carnage, 1 medium-size ship, and 3 smaller-sized ships. The Yamato pursues the ships and the 3 smaller ships open fire with their red-colored beam guns at the Yamato. The shots miss as the Yamato maneuvers into a firing position. The first 2 turrets rotate and fire their guns at 2 of the smaller ships. The light blue and white beams strike the 2 vessels and they immediately explode in spectacular fashion. The last smaller vessel turns around and charges the Yamato. The Yamato responds by firing a single turret into the ship and it too explodes. Only the medium-sized ship manages to escape and it flies into a red worm-hole.

"Now that our system was liberated from Garmillan control, it was time we made our way to Iscandar and Garmillan to retrieve the Cosmo Reverse System and put an end to this war. Along the way, we had many major battles." Kodai says. The hologram changes back to the Milky Way Galaxy and 4 stars appear at different places in between the Sol System and the Salezar System. "Furious battles at Carell 163, Balun, the R136a Rainbow Star Cluster, and finally the liberation of Prison Planet 17 resulted in large amounts of damage to the ship and lots of death on the ship. However, no matter the cost, we pressed on with the hope that we would reach Iscandar and make sure that everyone who died, that their deaths would not be in vain. The first few months we had little hope and after discovering a planet that resembled Earth, supporters of the old Project Izumo, the original plan to resettle a new planet, staged a mutiny. It was put down after agents who were secretly informed by Earth Federation Chief Civilian Executive Heikuro Todo, that General Kotetsu Serizawa had planted Project Izumo supporters onto the Yamato, with orders to stop them if they mutinied. With the mutineers arrested and with new information and a plan to reach Iscandar, we set off. And after we helped liberate Prison Planet 17, we were able to dry dock at the facility to receive repairs that we could not do while in space, as well as, intelligence from a Garmillan resistance movement against Abelt Dessler and his dictatorial regime. From Prison Planet 17, we made our way to Garmillas to stop Dessler and rescue a dear friend who was kidnapped after being mistaken for one of the Iscandarian princesses."
The hologram changes to shows a short compilation of the attacks. The battle of Carell 163 is a space battle near the Carell 163 rotating neutron star. The Yamato appears in the middle of the ponies while Garmillan ships of all sorts of sizes, even new ones, surround the Yamato. The first new ship is a huge ship, over double that of the Yamato's length, and also takes a radically different design from the capsule ships the Garmillans used. The new ship is more geometric than the more common capsule looking ships. It has a ramp-like bow with the ship with half of the ship in a hexagon shape. On the bow are 6 torpedo tubes, 3 on each side. Midship lays 3 of the 7 main 3 gun turrets in bulbous mounts, and just below the guns, on the sides of the ship lays the yellow lights. Behind the guns is the bridge which is huge, high off the deck, and even has its own torpedo tubes exactly in the middle of the ship. Just below the bridge's superstructure are what look like air intake grills. The same grills appear on sponsons on the sides of the ship behind the bridge. The sponsons extend to the back and then rounds off at the stern where the last 4 gun turrets are located with each 2 on each sponson with them on top and bottom of each sponson. 7 more torpedo tubes adorn the stern too and 8 purplish thrusters push the ship. Like the smaller Garmillas ships it has fins on the stern with 2 on each sponson with 1 on the top and bottom and is angled a bit outward from the ship.
Another one is an aircraft carrier that looks like a more modern carrier but it has a superimposed multideck design. There are 4 decks per ship with the higher decks shorter than the deck below it and each deck have 2 catapults to launch their fighters except for the bottom deck. The top deck has an additional angled flight deck with another catapult. The bridge is located at the top of the ship, on the starboard side, and in the middle of the top flight deck and has multiple sensors on top of the bridge. The carriers have 8 small caliber quad mounted turrets and 5 triple medium caliber gun turrets. The back has 2 purple thrusters.

The hologram then changes to the Raid on Balun. The hologram shows a large gas giant like Jupiter but more red. 2 huge subspace gates appear on opposite sides of the bridge. The gates have a circle entrance with a circle gate modulator that maintains the portal entrance. The gates have 5 circular structures on them with 4 of them grouped together on 1 side the fifth one on the other side by itself. Several spokes stick out of the gates at various angles and lengths. and the void between them is filled with thousands of Garmillas ships of all kinds. The Yamato soon exits from one of the gates and heads towards the other gate. As it flies towards the gate the Yamato opens fire on the ships that make any aggressive moves towards the Yamato. Hundreds of red beams fire on the Yamato while the Yamato fires as fast as it can back while launching torpedo and missiles. The combined firepower of the cannons beam fire, missiles, and torpedos begins to take its toll on the Garmillan forces that are slowly but surely whittled down.

The hologram then changes to the R136a Rainbow Star Cluster. The star cluster is beautiful with multiple colors like red, blue and green and looks just like a rainbow. This battle, however, begins with a fighter battle. 2 types of aircraft fly past the Yamato with humans at the controls while 3 kinds of aircraft launch from the Garmillas aircraft carrier.
The first human fighter is the most numerous. It's shaped like an arrow with a delta wing arrangement. The back has a single tail wing on top, a single bubble canopy for the pilot, 2 prongs that jut out of the front underneath the nose, and 2 2-D vector thrust nozzles. The wings have 3 cannons on them that fire forward and under the nose, in between the prongs, are 2 heavy machine guns.
The other human fighter is much different and only 2 of this kind of jet fly with the others. The front is most distinguishable as it has 3 prongs at the front, 1 long prong is attached under the nose while the other 2 occupy the sides. At the front of the fighter is a spinal mounted cannon of large caliber and under the nose, separated by the large prong, is 4 machine guns, 2 on each side of the craft. The pilot sits in a bubble canopy. The body of the fighter is slender and at the back, it has 4 tail fins, the longest one is on top of the craft, the smallest one below on the belly, and the last 2 juts out from the sides and angled downward slightly. The main wings carry 2 large capsule pods on them and at the back is the single large thruster nozzle with an aerospike in it.
The Garmillan fighter is a bit different but none the less deadly. The fighter is shaped like an arrow. It has a pointed nose with 2 spikes below the nose of the craft. 2 large cannon port adorn the nose with 1 on each side with the bubble canopy above the cannons. The wings are a bit thin and short but it has 2 pods on the wings that have a cannon on each pod and the wings have 3 heavy machine guns. The back has a single large tail wing and 4 propulsion engines.
The next one is a dive bomber. Once again the craft is aerodynamic design with an arrow shape. On top of the nose of the craft are 2 spikes and just behind them are 2 machine guns. The front also sports 2 pods for rockets with each pod housing 7 rocket, 1 pod per side. The ship sports a bubble canopy for the pilot. The wings on the craft are a bit different and even strange to the ponies. The wings are bent down then are bent upwards just a few feet from the hull. Each wing houses a pylon located under the wings bend that holds a single bomb each. On the belly of the craft are intake grills. At the back of the craft is a large thruster and 2 long tail wings that are angled out a bit from the craft.
Finally, the last craft of the Garmillan forces is a torpedo bomber. It's bigger and bulkier than any other of the craft seen. The front is dominated with a large indentation to hold the huge torpedo which is shaped like a missile but the head is rounded off. The nose also has points for 2 machine guns and a single cannon in between the 2 machine guns. Behind the guns is a bubble canopy cockpit for 2. Behind the cockpit are 2 large lights like the ones found on the larger ships and the wings. The wings are shaped like the dive bombers, they are angled downward but the ones angled down are longer than the ones on the dive bomber with the wings angling upward halfway and the tips are swept back. The middle bend houses a weapons pod on each wing that contains another cannon. Back on the body, behind the wings, is a ball turret with 2 machine guns mounted in the turret. Finally at the back is a single large and tall tail wing and a single small thruster.

The ponies watch as the spacecraft engages each other. The human fighters begin to fire on the Garmillan bombers while the Garmillan fighters try to keep the human craft away. The human craft opens fire with their guns that fire bullets and cannon shells while the Garmillan craft opens fire with lasers. Though the Garmillans have more technologically advanced craft, the skill, and determination of the human pilots make sure that they get lots of kills. But inevitably Garmillan forces push through and make it to the Yamato however some of the Yamato's craft spot the Garmillan carrier and assault it. The Yamato opens fire with its Anti-Aircraft pulse laser batteries on the approaching torpedo and dive bombers. The bombers begin to try and dodge the incoming fire with a few being destroyed but some get through and drop their payloads and turn away to head for home. The bombs and torpedos strike the ship causing massive damage to the ship. Many humans are killed or wound with a few being sucked out from the hull breaches. Suddenly the huge Garmillan warship that engaged the Yamato back at Carell 163 appeared and charged towards the Yamato with cannon beam fire. Meanwhile, in the middle of the room, some of the fighters break off and attack the carrier. One of the human starcraft fires missiles hidden in the fuselage and it strikes the side of the carrier doing negligible damage and the fighter gets shot down. Another fighter comes in from the front and fires its missiles into the hanger which destroys the carrier.

The hologram changes once again to a prison planet where a rebellion is underway against the prison guards and staff. A large Garmillan warship is seen overhead in low orbit and supporting the rebels as it transports arms and rebel supporters. As the rebels raid the prison they free slaves, criminals accused of false crimes, allies, even a few captured enemy soldiers. The rebellion is lead by a middle-aged Garmillan male with a short mane, a mustache that connects to his sideburns and a long scar across the middle of his right eye that extends from his mustache to near his mane line. The rioters soon capture the prison and cheer. The Yamato soon appears and descends but is allowed to land in a dry dock and engineers begin to repair the ship.

"With the liberation of the prison planet, the recovery of fellow crewmates, major repairs to the Yamato, and receiving information on Garmillas, we set out to defeat Abelt Dessler and bring an end to his dictator rule." Kodai continues.

The Yamato lifts off and leaves the planet. The hologram changes as the Yamato warps to the Salezar system and upon entering the system a violet beam nearly hits the ship but misses and instead strikes the gas giant planet behind the Yamato blowing a large portion of the gas giant into space and as the rest of the gas giant begins to collapse, the Yamato speeds toward the Garmillan planet. Fleets of Garmillan ships move in to intercept the Yamato. The Yamato then slows and deploys its fighters from an aft launch bay under the keel. A small section of the ship lowers and a ramp launches the fighters while the special fighter is launched from a catapult on the aft top deck. Garmillan fighters try to intercept but because of incompetence, or lack of experience, the Garmillan fighters are mopped up easily while the Yamato rockets towards the planet. The ponies all join hands as they watch the battle unfold. The Yamato breaks through the atmosphere and passes through a massive gap in the planet's crust to the skyline of a huge city.

"Ballerus. The Garmillan capital city and the seat of power for Abelt Dessler and his Imperial Guard. For over 100 years Dessler ruled with an iron fist, using the imperial guard to dictate the lives of every being that lived in the empire, with the force of entire fleets if necessary. Under his reign, the civilians either obeyed or were executed. Of course, this meant even planet genocide and he would always spin lies to ensure that it would seem as though he was in the right when he ordered or allowed such actions to take place. However, with our intervention, the people of Garmillan would see for first hand the true terror that was Abelt Dessler's rule." Kodai says and as he talks the Yamato deploys 2 triangle shaped wings from its midsection, midship. The Yamato then levels out and heads straight towards the royal palace. Garmillan Imperial Guard ships try to stop it but they are all destroyed with 1 of the ships, a battleship, being rammed in the starboard side by the Yamato and sheered in half after being dragged a fair distance. The Yamato then rams into the palace and immediately begins to move upwards, coming to a rest just short of the throne room. After a few moments of silence, a small ship ejects from the palace and docks with a huge space station in orbit around Garmillan. After a bit, a large city-wide section of the station breaks off and plummets towards Ballerus. The Garmillan civilians watch in horror and disbelief that their leader would sacrifice the entire capital city and millions of lives that live in the city to destroy a single ship. The ponies gasp and watch as the section plummets down but then they hear the same beeping that they heard when the main gun fired back at Jupiter. Again, there's a bright flash, and after the flash dissipates the space station section is destroyed and vaporized with only a fireball and dust left of the section. The civilians watch in amazement that the enemy ship just saved them. The station then turns to face the Yamato and begins to charge up its main gun. The main gun is violet, like the shot that missed the Yamato when it entered the system, and it targets the palace but suddenly the station begins to blow up as the main core begins to overload. The station then explodes in a large fireball and pieces of the station fall to the planet.

"The space station was Ballerus 2, the mobile city-fortress that Dessler had hoped to become the new capital of the Great Garmillan Empire when Garmillan was united with the neighboring plant of Iscandar. However, our crew member that was mistaken for an Iscandarian, Yuki Mori, managed to overload the station's reactors and escape with the help of a Garmillan subject who went against Dessler after witnessing Dessler's extreme actions. With the space station gone and Yuki rescued, we headed to the neighboring planet of Iscandar. However, when we arrived, Queen Starsha refused to give us the Cosmo Reverse System on the grounds that humanity was too dangerous and she was horrified that the technology that she gifted us was used to create the main gun as the main gun was powered by the Wave-Motion engine that she gifted us. However, after the intervention of her sister, Princess Yurisha Iscandar, and a close confidant, she reluctantly agreed to give us the Cosmo-Reverse System on the condition that we remove the components for the main gun. We agreed and the firing components for the main gun were removed and replaced with the Cosmo-Reverse System. Thus a treaty was signed between Garmillan, Humanity, and Iscandar that banned weapons based on Wave-Motion technology and bring an end to the Garmillan-Earth war." As Kodai speaks the hologram shows the Yamato leaving Garmillan and heading to Iscandar. The Yamato lands in the sea and sails into a port and docks alongside a pier. The next day floating lift cranes and engineers begin to remove the Yamato's firing components and replace them with the Cosmo-Reverse System. Afterward, the bow gun port is sealed up and the Yamato takes off to return to Earth.

"With the Cosmo-Reverse System onboard, we began the trip back home. However, 2 incidents happened on the way. One of them happened a month after we left when we encountered the Gatlantis Empire, another advanced race who is, more or less, hell-bent on the destruction of love and all life that embraces feelings. Worse yet, since they are all organics that were engineered, manufactured humanoids, thus they had no sense of danger or morals. They did whatever their leaders said. They were lead by Emperor Zworder, one of the original Gatlantis slaves, who lead the original Gatlantis in a rebellion against their creators. However, their rebellion resulted in the death of his lover and child, all of his creators and most of the Gatlantis people. For this failure, he blamed love and swore to eradicate it as it was unnecessary along with all emotions. What we met was a vanguard fleet, an expeditionary fleet. They opened fire on us and we took cover on a planet using the caverns to hide. However, we disturbed local creatures and they attacked us. In order to survive, we made a warp jump." Kodai says and looks down at the hologram.

The hologram changes to deep space when the Yamato is attacked from behind by a large warship and a few smaller ships. The front of the large warship has double prongs at the bow. The prongs have 2 holes in the and just behind the prongs are 9 torpedo tubes. Just above the torpedo tubes is a huge quintuple cannon. The large exposed bridge is right behind the bow-mounted cannon. Behind the bridge are 3 dome-like turrets. The stern is dominated by a single tail fin and the 2 main engines with 4 smaller sub-engines. The main engines are really strange as they are long protrusions instead of a nozzle. Near the base of the engines, the propulsion energy is spewed out to propels the ship.
The smaller ships consist of 2 sections. The bottom section is flat and shaped like a rounded triangle with only the engines at the back. The top section has a cylindrical bow that then merges into the lower part of the ship. The ship has 3 of the dome turrets on the top of the ship and a large exposed bridge.
2 Gatlantis carriers accompany them. They look like the smaller ships but larger and with a cut out in the middle for a launch deck and the bridge is located on the starboard side of the ship.
As the Yamato flees to a gray planet, a hatch open just below the Gatlantis's ships bow, and a large gun appears. The new weapon begins to charge up with a ball of fire at the muzzle and the holes on the bow prongs begin to send out rings of energy. The same rings appear near the Yamato. The gun then fires an energy stream of what looks like fire spews out. The rings then teleport the beam straight at the Yamato, one of the carriers gets too close and is consumed in the blast, but the Yamato's shield protects the ship from harm. As the Yamato enters the caverns of the gray planet, Jellyfish-like organisms fly out and begin to attach themselves to both the Yamato and the Gatlantis ships and begin to drain them of their power. In order to get the creatures off, the Yamato makes a warp jump leaving the Gatlantis ships behind and shattering a piece of the planet in the process. The Yamato then exits the jump on another planet that's lush and fertile with plants. The ship moves across the planet until it reaches an alien structure and rests in a body of water and the anchor's drop down and anchors it.

"We didn't know it at the time, but we had warped to an ancient structure created by an ancient race called the Aquarius called Shambleau. There we encountered a Garmillas task force that survived our raid at Balun and was driven to Shambleau by the same Gatlantis fleet we encountered. Of course, being at war, we didn't trust each other but when we were forced to stay together at a "hotel" we eventually found peace amongst each other and cooperation. That's when we found that inhabitants of the planet. A race called the Jirel lived there after their homeworld was destroyed because they were feared because they had telepathic powers and abilities. However, a small group of Jirel was on Shambleau when their homeworld was destroyed as they had found it first. In the main room, we found that the ancient Aquarius race had scattered their genes to many planets to help evolution and then vanished leaving behind their legacy structures like Shambleau. It turns out that many species, like us humans, the Jirel, and Garmillans, received their genes. Because we were all carried the Aquarius genetic code, we unlocked Shambleau, also known as the Celestial Ark. With the Celestial Ark unlocked, we could freely leave. However, the Gatlantis fleet followed us and began to attack Shambleau. We knew the Gatlantis fleet had to be defeated so we could leave but also, so they couldn't claim the Celestial Ark either. So, with the Garmillas task force, we attacked the Gatlantis forces." Kodai says.

The Yamato lifts off with several Garmillas ships soon joining them. Several destroyer class, a single carrier, and a new battlecarrier. The new ship is pretty different from other ships. Most of the ship is dominated with a long flight deck with a hangar just behind with 2 large and 2 small hangar doors just behind the flight deck. The flight deck juts out at the bow and then separates into 2 prongs that are slightly angled downwards. The prongs are directly connected to the hull that is split with a concave in the middle and 2 large bulges on the bottom that extends from the bow to midship. The bow bulges contain 6 missile launchers per bulge. Just behind the bow bulges are the stern bulges that contain the eye lights. The ship has 4 large 3 gun main turrets on top of the hangar with the bridge separating them and 4 secondary turrets on the sides, 2 per side, one facing the stern, the other facing towards the bow. At the stern, there are 4 engines each glowing purple, 2 of them are grouped together in the middle and the other 2 on the sides. Strangely the ship has 4 claw-like prongs that look like rudders.
Both the Yamato and the Garmillas launch fighters and the Gatlantis ships do the same while the main ship begins to charge up the main gun again. The Gatlantis fighters launch from stern-mounted launch decks and are shaped like stingrays. They're flat and half-circular with a tail at the back. Each fighter has missiles a dome laser cannon just behind the canopy. The gun fires again and the rings teleport the fire at the unified fleet with the blast destroying several Garmillas vessels. However, when the second blast occurs the ships detect it and evade it. Then part of the Garmillas battlecarrier flight deck flips over to expose 6 more guns, 2 large calibers, 4 medium calibers. The fighters clash and a large dog fight commences with some fighters breaking through and attacking the ships directly. Soon the ships come in contact and begin to fire on each other. As the battle carries on, parts of the Celestial Ark and Shambleau begin to melt away revealing its true appearance. The Garmillan carrier falls behind and gets caught in a piece of the Celestial Ark. Both sides fight ferociously with beams, missiles, and torpedos flying every way and striking many of the targets. Both sides begin to lose ships and fighters but the Gatlantis flagship breaks away and attempts to go around the battle and straight towards Shambleau and in the direction of the Garmillan carrier. The Yamato turns around and charges after the Gatlantis flagship with smoke spewing out of the main thruster as it accelerates to catch up. As soon as the Gatlantis flagship notices it's being followed it turns around, the main turret turns to aim as the dome turrets spin and fire. The Gatlantis ship dumps its main gun and with a small fire ablaze at the barrels end it hurtles toward the Yamato. The Yamato tries to dodge but the gun scraps across the port-side of the ship, destroying the port side observation dome. In order to catch up, the Yamato fires its anchor, and rockets propel the anchor towards the Gatlantis ship and the anchor strikes it near the starboard engine making the engine fail. The chain begins the reel the Gatlantis ship in and as the Yamato nears it, the bow turret fires and blasts off the port side catapult. Undeterred the Yamato circles overhead of the Gatlantis ship and opens fire with its Anti-Aircraft guns that riddle the ship with holes. Meanwhile, The Garmillas forces are taking heavy losses, and soon even the battlecarrier is disabled but all the Gatlantis ships are destroyed. As the Yamato circles around to the front of the ship, the Gatlantis prepares to fire again but the Yamato guns are faster and a single turret fire a volley of shells into the bridge's superstructure. The shells explode destroying the bridge and then the entire ship explodes but the Yamato's shielding comes back on just in time to protect it from the explosion. The ship's explosion is so violent that it frees the Garmillas carrier and together they return to where the other ships were battling only to find the battle is finished. All of the Gatlantis ships have been destroyed with the Garmillas ships either disabled or destroyed. Garmillas survivors are rescued and brought aboard the carrier. As the ships leave, the Celestial Ark reveals itself. It's a huge cage-like structure surrounding a large broken planet with most of the interior mostly empty except for a support system of rods that forms a mushroom shape leaving only a web of roads and cities on the surface. As the Yamato and Garmillas carrier rendezvous, they observe the Celestial Ark as it's cloaking device activates and the Celestial Ark turns invisible with only the now reactivated 16 circle engines that have been dormant for millenniums showing and the Celestial Ark warps away with the Jirelians still aboard. The Garmillas turns away after an exchange of salutes and heads for home with the Yamato doing the same.

"With our first conflict against Gatlantis, we knew that they would one day come after us. But our mission still stood and every day we closed in on our own homeworld. However, with just normal warps it would take too long. Thus we gambled on a choice and returned to Balun where we hoped that at least one of the subspace corridors was still operational. We were right. The one we used to arrive at Balun was still operational. However, our joy was short-lived when we were attacked by a rogue Garmillas fleet." Kodai continues.

The hologram changes back to Balun just as the Yamato returns to Balun, the entire area is littered with pieces of ships and debris and they spot that one of the gates is still operational. As they head towards the gate, a single new battleship and a few destroyers ambush the Yamato from the debris field and open fire as they chase the Yamato towards the gate. The new battleship takes a step away from the conventional Garmillas design. The front is flat with a concave and a front fin. As the ship tapers outward towards the stern the bow has several spikes poking outward and then at midship 12 forward-firing missile launchers lay with 6 on each side grouped in 3 groups. Just above the launchers are 2 of the 3 main turrets with the exposed dome-like bridge behind the second turret and the third turret sitting on the keel of the ship. The keel also includes several more missile launchers. At the stern, the top and bottom have are intake grills and a single large thruster. The ships chase the Yamato firing their lasers at the Yamato. Suddenly 2 torpedos appear out of nowhere on a collision course with the Yamato but the divert and miss the Yamato at the last second and instead destroy 2 of the Garmillas destroyers. The ponies look in surprise when a submarine surfaces hard and splashes down. Like the U-boats of old the front is thin and looks like a boat bow. At the front are 4 torpedo tubes. Midship like the iconic headlights with a small single gun turret on the top and the conning tower behind it with a periscope on the conning tower. The stern has 7 tail fins with 3 on each side, 2 long ones point down, 2 medium ones point outwards from the hull in the middle, 2 short ones are angled slightly upwards, and one short and stubby tail fin pointing directly upward. 3 more torpedo tubes face rearward.

"The submarine is the UX-01, a dimensional submarine, capable of entering subspace like the subspace corridors but can remain there for long periods of time and even fire subspace torpedos. A fearsome weapon, however hard to produce and thus produced in only limited numbers." Kodai explains.

The Yamato increases its speed and enters the gate while the UX-01 dives into subspace, leaving its periscope out. It targets the battleship and fires 2 torpedos. The torpedos fly out and destroy the battleship. The hologram changes to inside the subspace corridor where there are pillars of swirling energy and lightning. As the Yamato transitions through subspace, the ship is then attacked and wires are launched onto the ship trapping it to an unknown huge ship. The ship is dark blue with the bow having 2 large spike protrusions that carry the iconic headlights and between the protrusions is a cylindrical part of the hull with a pinkish color the same color as the weapon used back at Garmillas. Midship is the 6 large-caliber turrets that run along the sides while 6 more large-caliber cannons are above them. The midship also has 8 more of the iconic headlights, 4 on the top, 4 on the keel. The stern has forward-swept wings that house 6 larger large-caliber cannons, 3 cannons per wing, and several missile launch tubes. At the wings end is the single giant thruster.

"The ship is the Desura II, the flagship of Abelt Dessler. It was originally connected with Ballerus II but during the space stations' destruction, it disconnected and escaped with the now former leader of Garmillas on board. Dessler survived and now wanted the Yamato for himself in order to reclaim his position. Thus he sent his men and Garmillan droids, called Garmilloids, to attack us, and soon Dessler himself came aboard. The fighting was brief yet fierce with casualties on both sides but soon Dessler's forces were routed and pushed back. With the goal of capturing the Yamato no longer viable, Dessler and his forces evacuated the Yamato to destroy it." Kodai says.

As Kodai talks, the hologram shows that after latching on, hatches open up below the ship's keel and Garmilloid troops are inside. They drop out and jetpacks help the Garmilloids to the Yamato where they open fire on crew members. The ponies watch in horror as robotic Garmillans kill the crew with little mercy or regard to who they kill. However, soon the humans manage to arm themselves, and after a virus created by the ship's robot shuts down all the Garmilloids, the Garmillas troop's begin to retreat. The cables holding the Yamato disconnect and the Yamato puts some distance between the enemy battleship. The Garmillas cannons fire but the beams faze out after a few hundred meters. The Yamato comes about and aims all of its turrets at the ship.

"After breaking free we retaliated. However, beam weapons are useless in subspace and faze out after a few hundred meters. Since Dessler and his forces couldn't use their beam cannons in the subspace corridor, Dessler decided to fire the main cannon which was a variant of our own main gun but to fire it in the subspace corridor could cause the gun to overload and destroy itself. Since we couldn't use our own beam weapons, we instead opened fire with cannon shells. The plan worked and the shells caused the main gun to overload. The resulting explosion pushed the Yamato out of the other side of the gate and we entered back in real space." Kodai continues.

As the enemy ship charges up its main gun again, the Yamato's cannons open fire with physical cannon shells. The shells pierce the ship's hull and begin to explode. A few explode near the bridge and kill all of its crew except for Dessler who gets up and fires the main cannon. In an attempt to destroy the Yamato as a final act, Dessler pulls the trigger to fire the main cannon, however, the cannon begin to backfire and energy pillars explode out of the hull and the ship explodes into several pieces. On the other end of the subspace corridor, a rush of teal energy smoke appears and the Yamato exits the gate intact. The Yamato turns away and heads back home.

"With Dessler and his forces out of the way, there were no more forces that could stand in our way in returning home to Earth and on December 8th, 2199 of the Lunar calendar, we returned to our home planet with the Cosmo-Reverse System and brought Earth back to its former blue state. However, our captain, Captain Juzo Okita, died from his radiation sickness. A monument was erected in his honor and for all crew members that gave their life serving on board the Yamato." Kodai says and finishes this chapter of the Yamato's life.

The hologram changes to the irradiated dried up earth as the Yamato nears the planet. The Cosmo-Reverse system activates upon arrival and begins to heal the earth. The ship glows with a white and blue energy for a second then descends onto the planet's surface where it once again activates the Cosmo-Reverse System and cleanse the earth of the radiation and purifies the atmosphere. Water returns to the planet immediately, grass and many small plants return in a few days, and large trees in a few weeks. Humans return to the surface and begin to rebuild homes, buildings, skyscrapers, and military installations. By the end of the first year, most of human society has been rebuilt and a statue of Captain Juzo Okita is built looking out towards the sea.

"After the earth was revitalized, humans began to rebuild and remilitarize. Great cities and monuments of great importance are rebuilt. Old ships are retrofitted with wave-motion technology and more are built with the same technology. With earth's population just one-third of what it was before the war, we had to rebuild with the little manpower we had. However, soon the earth was rebuilt and our fleets returning to power. With many ships reconstituting the fleets we lost, the Yamato went in to be retrofitted and upgraded for new military service while the Cosmo-Reverse System was removed. During this time, the Earth Federation decided to declare war on the Gatlantis Empire for the role it played in when the fleet attacked us at Shambleau. With the Garmillas already at war with the Gatlantis, we formed an alliance to stop them. The Garmillans built an embassy into our moon and provided us with aid due to the alliance we formed while on Iscandar. 3 years after we returned, in 2202, Gatlantis managed to push into the Sol System and take the old Garmillas floating continent on Jupiter." Kodai says.

The hologram changes to Jupiter and to the old floating continent where Gatlantis forces are stationed around the old floating continent and are mining it for resources. A large joint UNCF-Garmillas task force arrives comprised of both Garmillas ships and UNCF ships, some of the Garmillan ships have large rectangular shields at the front of their bow. Gatlantis fires first with their flame guns but the Garmillan shield ships take the blasts but the next fire incinerates the shield and the ships behind it. However, the shield gave it enough time that the other ships are in range and a firefight ensues. Hundreds of ships fire on one another but the alliance manages to push through and destroy the fleet but the second wave of Gatlantis ships show up from behind the continent, this time followed by a Super-Battleship. The hull is a rectangle with several fins on the sides, a bridge near the middle, and a large single engine at the back. What interesting about these new ships is that they have 2 rings of floating capsules. The Super-battleship slows and comes to a stop and the capsules begin to spin until there a blur and they begin to fire on the task force ships. The flood of beam blasts begins to cut down the fleets, dozens of ships are destroyed in seconds.

"The Super-Battle was nearly invincible against the task force. However, humanity.......created a new ship. One that relied on Wave-Motion based weapons. Despite our truce with Iscandar that banned such weapons, humanity built them, saying that such weapons are necessary and that our captain, Juzo Okita, didn't have the right or rank to negotiate on behalf of the earth and the Earth Federation." Kodai continues and he grips the arms of the chair tightly in rage and near cries as he speaks. "How? How could they just disrespect Captain Okita that easily after all he did? After all he gave." The ponies look at him sadly as he speaks. A female human with golden hair and golden eyes comes on screen to comfort him. Kodai relaxes and recomposes himself. He kisses the female. "Thanks, Yuki." She smiles and leaves him. He looks back at the hologram. "The Andromeda. One of the new battleship types developed around the Wave-Motion gun but this one had 2 Wave-Motion Guns."

As Kodai talks, the same main gun beeping can be heard and after the beeping stops 2 beams of blue and white energy fly out past the fleet and then they collide and shoot out a spread of hundreds of smaller beams that destroy the Gatlantis fleet. The hologram shows just what it was that fired it, a large human ship but unlike the previous designs or Yamato, this one is new and fresh.
The bow is pointed in a square cone with the words "AAA-001 Andromeda U.N.C.F. Battleship 2202" near the tip. Just below the tip is 2 large hexagon gun ports that run half the length of the hull and taper inside to the gun barrels that begin to close with the hatches sliding inward. Below the bow is a single long fin running most of the bow and a single large bulge for 4 spare thrusters and a long keel fin. On top of the main gun barrels are small bulges that have 4 small barrels inside it and on the side are small bulges and wings. The deck has a small protrusion on the top of it, with a small fin on top of it, behind the protrusion are 2 of the 4 main cannon turrets, each of them housing 3 cannons. On the sides are 4 bulges with 2 barrels, 2 per side, and a capsule protrusions behind them with 2 barrels per capsule. Behind the 2 main gun turrets is the bridge's superstructure that's in a T-shape, 2 double-pulse laser turrets are mounted halfway up the superstructure with 1 per side, and 12 launch tubes cannons with 6 per side near the base of the superstructure. Below the bridge, on the keel, are 2 long capsules. Behind the bridge are 2 long fins that angle outwards and the last 2 of the main cannon turrets and 4 more fins, 2 on top, 2 on the keel that once again angles outward. The 4 secondary engines are contained in bulges, 2 per side, 2 on top, 2 on the bottom, and a single large main engine nozzle that contains 4 small triangle fins on both sides, top, and bottom.
The energy beam nearly destroys all of the Gatlantis ships, except for the Super-Battleship, which floats there, with red markings on it. The ponies watch in complete surprise as they had suspected the ship would have been scrap metal like the others. It charges forward at high speed and blasts through the task forces lines and past the Andromeda. The ship then warps to Earth where a ring of beam cannons fire on the super-battle ship with no effect. As it nears the Earth Federation HQ, a lone old warship tries to push it out of the way but the Gatlantis ship doesn't budge. After a bit, the human ship moves away as the Gatlantis ship enters the atmosphere and begins to burn on entry. However, nearby and underwater, the Yamato is still undergoing her upgrades. The ship is in shambles with plates on her hull and various other pieces missing. The Yamato's side thrusters help tilt the ship as its second main turret, the only turret left on it, turns to port and the guns elevate to the maximum until the guns are pointed at the Gatlantis ships and they fire. The beams fly out and bust through the domes room, evaporating the surrounding water, and head towards the Gatlantis ship. The 3 beams combine into 1 and strike the ship, blowing it up. The human's smile and sigh in relief as once again the Yamato has saved them once again.

"The appearance of this new ship raised questions. And soon more were commissioned, even a carrier variant of the battleship. Then we found out how they were building the ships. The Dimensional Time Fault, a place that was created when the Yamato used the Cosmo-Reverse where time flowed faster. The UNCF built a large production inside the DTF where they could build ships in large numbers in a short amount of time. 1 day on our side meant that 10 days passed there. With this production ability, we were able to make a large navy in 3 years. However, things escalated when most of the crew members of the Yamato experienced a vision of help sent to us by Teresa, a celestial god being that lives in a higher dimension. The Gatlantis were trying to capture her to use her powers for themselves. We alerted the Earth Federation, but they rejected our proposed mission to the planet of Terezart. However, after some talking with the crew members we devised a plan to steal the Yamato. We waited as her upgrades and retrofits were finished and the firing mechanism for the main gun was replaced. After that, we moved the Yamato to the undercity dry dock so we could enter it discreetly."

The newly upgraded Yamato is moved below to the underground city dry dock. That night most of the crew members gather up and head down and begin to board the Yamato. However, soldiers try to stop them from doing so and even slice the dry docks remote controls from the ship but the Anti-Aircraft guns open fire and scare the soldier who runs for cover. 4 crew members run out and some of the soldiers follow them and open fire on them but they manage to make it to the auxiliary controls and begin to flood the dry dock. The crew waits for the others to return but once the water reaches the airlock they have no choice but to seal the airlock but the other 4 understand and salute the ship as the water fills the dry dock. The gate opens and the ship activates its secondary engines and the Yamato leaves the dry dock and heads out to sea. It then raises up out of the water and takes off towards the sky, passing over Captain Juzo Okita's monument. As the ship flies out to space, the defensive ring opens fire on them but the Yamato fires on the ring and destroys it. The ship then leaves and heads out to space.

"With all of our actions and the stealing of the Yamato, we were considered rogue. However, we were all fine with that. But in retaliation, the UNCF ordered the Andromeda to intercept and capture us. We made it to the Astroid belt when the Andromeda intercepted us. They asked for our surrender and we refused. Thus they responded with force. With the Wave-Motion engine still charging, we had no shields but we had the Astroid Ring Generated Offence aka A.R.G.O. System to help defend us. With this, we were able to defend against the Andromeda long enough for the Wave-Motion engine to recharge and pass by the Andromeda."

As the ships near each other, the Yamato fires canisters of spikes out of 8 square launchers near the antenna fins. After a certain distance, the spikes fire out of their canisters and into the asteroids nearby. The Andromeda then opens fire with the anti-ship grenade launchers but the asteroids form a coating around the ship that protects the Yamato from the blasts. As the ships close into cannon beam range the Yamato makes the asteroid's spin around the ship in 3 rings. The Andromeda opens fire with the 2 bow turrets. The blasts are stopped by the asteroids as the 2 ships head for each other. As the ships near each other, the Yamato's Wave-Motion engine activates and the shields come up just as the 2 ships collide but both of the ship's shields protect them from harm. The ships begin to nudge each other away and the port side shields scrape against each other and the Yamato's main engine ignites and the Yamato escapes.

"We escaped, however, moments later, our mission was sanctioned by the UNCF. With this, we could leave and proceed with our mission as well as pick up some more of our crew and the new Cosmo Tiger 2 Space Fighter and the new prototype Cosmo Tiger 1 Space Fighter. We also picked up Klaus Kiiman, the Garmillas attaché to the Garmillas Ambassador who is a tremendous fighter pilot. We then began to make our way to Terezart however, we found a single ship from the Planet 11, one of the former Garmillan worlds that they sold to us for some production rights to the DTF, which was attacked by Gatlantis forces. We decided to make the detour to the planet to save survivors, even though we had orders to get to Terezart as fast as possible. However, by the time we rescued the survivor, Gatlantis had nearly conquered the planet, with only survivors left to fight on. So, we had to get creative to get there and save them."

The hologram changes to a new planet where tons of Gatlantis ships surround the planet. To get passed them all they Yamato warps directly into the atmosphere. The shock wave knocks out the main thruster but the secondary thrusters keep the Yamato going. The Yamato releases 2 new kinds of fighters and Klaus's Garmillan fighter.
The prototype Cosmo Tiger 1 launches from a side hangar along with Kiiman's Garmillas fighter. The Cosmo Tiger 1 is a completely new and strange design. It's basically a bunch of guns and missiles strapped onto a pair of engines and a narrow, aerodynamic cockpit. The cockpit is shaped like a hypodermic needle tip and with a large bubble canopy. The body extends to a pair of large engine thrusters with 2 tailfins that slightly angle outwards. The wings hole 18 missile canisters with 9 per wing grouped in threes and 2 anti-ship cannons just below the wings that extend out to near the pilot in the cockpit. There are also secondary wings below the main wings that hold 6 more missile canisters and 2 rocket launchers.
The other fighters are the Cosmo Tiger 2 that launch from the original fighter launch bay under the keel. These are more numerous and look like real fighters. The front is pointed with a single spike on the bottom of the nose. The front also houses 8 pulse laser guns, 4 on each side, and a large bubble canopy. Moving back the body widens and wings extend out from the body and the tips are slightly angled downwards with each wing housing 5 heavy machine guns. The underside of the craft and its wings carry 4 missiles next to 2 small belly fins while the top also has 2 large fins. The back is dominated by 2 large prongs and the 2 rectangle thrusters.
The fighters fly off and engage Gatlantean robotic troops that are hunting down both humans and Garmillans. The human marines try to fight them back but their assault rifles do little against them. After the area is cleared, the Yamato lowers into a gorge and heads to a bridge. Using its rocket anchors to stabilize itself, the Yamato lowers its third bridge hatch, and civilians begin to board while the fighters keep the Gatlanteans busy. Soon the last of the civilians are brought on board along with the commanding officer of the planet's defenses but a Gatlantis destroyer soon finds them. The anchors are retrieved and the Yamato flies off into the trench. The Gatlantis ship pursues and fires on the Yamato but the shots miss as the Yamato swerves. The Yamato then slows down and fire artillery shells into the Gatlantis ship that disable it and plummets towards the ground and the Yamato but the Yamato dodges just in time. However, in orbit, several super-battleships line up and begin to spin their lasers pods. The ships fire a laser by sacrificing their ships. The laser impacts the planet's crust and is dragged along the planet and the Yamato is consumed by the laser but the Shields are activated just in time to survive but the ship gets buried in the rubble with the shields holding the rubble back from crushing the ship.

"With the Gatlanteans no sense of life or preservation, they were able to make even the hardest choices and create weapons of mass destruction with no regard to life, including their own. With this idealism, they were able to create weapons that range from citywide destruction to planetary annihilation using themselves as a power source. After burying us and believing the Yamato to be destroyed, the Gatlanteans began the process to destroy the artificial sun that gave the planet life. The fighters that survived reported thousands of ships. Too many to destroy by conventional means. Thus we had to make a hard decision, escape and doom the planet, or break Captain Okita's legacy and fire the Wave-Motion gun. It took a while, but soon, we found out determination and the next day, we fired the cannon, in an attempt to disable the ships by overloading the artificial sun's reactor and make peace."

As the Yamato lays under the rubble, the shield begins to falter so they use the ARGO system to keep the boulders from falling. The fighters land on the surface nearby the crater and rest there for the night. Meanwhile, in orbit, thousands of Gatlantis super-battleships begin to warp into the system and surround the artificial sun in a cylindrical formation. The next day the rubble explodes and the Yamato raises into the sky and points its nose up at the sky. The beeping noise is heard and after it stops there's a flash of light and after the light dissipates, the artificial sun is unstable. The ball of energy disappears and electrical bolts make the Gatlantis ships begin to shut down. The Yamato once again sets off and it collects its fighters. The Yamato then makes it to orbit and after passing the disabled Gatlantis ships, warps away.

"With civilians aboard, we needed to get them home but turning back would be a mistake and the nearest human fleet wouldn't be here for some time. Thus Klaus managed to contact and have some Garmillas ships meet us on the planet Stravase so the survivors could be taken back to earth. We soon arrived on the volcanic world and so did 3 Garmillas ships. From there the survivors would return home to Earth. However, while the transfer was going on, we were attacked by an unexpected force." Kodai says

The hologram changes just as the Yamato comes out of warp over a volcanic planet. The Yamato descends to a rock arch and comes to a stop while 3 Garmillan destroyers descend and land on the other side of the arch. The back of the third bridge opens up and the civilians begin to leave the Yamato and head to the Garmillas ships. Just as they begin to finish up, 3 more Garmillas destroyers, and a heavy cruiser descends too and begins to attack the Garmillas ships. The stray shots sever the arch in 2 but the civilians make it across leaving the Cosmo Marines with the Yamato. After gathering up the rest of the personnel, the Yamato takes off and engages the 4 rogue Garmillan warships. The Yamato fires its Shock cannons and destroys the ships with ease.

"The attacking forces were rogue Garmillan military who were still loyal to Dessler even after his fall from power. They didn't support the new government that replaced Dessler so they began to attack it in order to restore the imperial government. Of course, this unit attacked ships that carried humans so we had to intervene in this. With the ships gone and the civilians safe, we returned to our mission. However, weeks later we were attacked. By an old enemy." Kodai continues.

As the Yamato traverses deep space several large missiles are teleported in. The Yamato's Anti-Aircraft guns open fire and destroy the missiles however a second wave teleports in and once again the guns take them out. Soon Dessler's flagship, the Desura II, appears with 4 Gatlantis destroyers. The ponies gasp as the ships bare down on the Yamato and the Yamato turns away and warps. However, due to particular elements present, the ship is transported into subspace and not the destination. The Desura II and the Gatlantis ships soon follow and chase the Yamato. The Desura II fires the last of the missiles but once again, the Yamato shoots them down. Finally, the Yamato enters a subspace tunnel and the Gatlantis ships follow while the Desura II begins to charge up its main gun and fires. The resulting beam destroys the Gatlantis ships and heads for the Yamato. However, using the Wave-motion beam they use the particles in the beam to warp out of the Subspace and away from the harmful particles that transported it there. The Yamato warps out of the Subspace and after a while, the harmful particles disperse and the Desura II reappears in real space. Then fleets of Garmillan ships loyal to Dessler appear behind the Desura II.

"Dessler survived our encounter 3 years prior. He was found by Gatlantis, nursed back to health, even his ship was restored and he was given a small fleet to hunt us down. However, we were able to get away and continue on with our journey. But, with the Yamato now nearing, Zworder moved his capital to attack us directly." Kodai says.

The hologram changes, this time a gigantic white comet warps in front of the Yamato. While the Yamato is but finger length, the White Comet extends from the floor to the ceiling. It shines brightly to the point that once it warps in the ponies cover their eyes as their eyes adjust and they look in awe. They all watch as the Yamato turns to run but organ music begins to play and the comet's gravity captures the Yamato and begins to pull it in. The crew puts full power to the thrusters to try and escape but the pull is so powerful they can't escape. As the ship is pulled into the planet, rows upon rows of Gatlantis ships appear in the fog. Thousands of ships.

"The Gatlantis didn't have a specific planet they lived on, they lived on a space station. This space station was controlled by the Prime Minister. However, we had the Prime Minister who had gone undercover to sabotage us and Emperor Zworder created another clone. The telepathic abilities linked the 2 clones and they questioned their existence when they believed they were unique and only 1 of them existed. This lapse of concentration allowed us to escape and capture the Prime Minister. Now free, we immediately warped away and continued to Terezart, however, radar and our optical scanners showed us that Gatlantis had placed a missile fleet around Terezart that was guarding and still trying to find Teresa. To reach Teresa and Terezart we would need to neutralize the fleet. Thus we made a plan. A bold plan. But it worked." Kodai says.

The hologram changes to the planet Terezart. A beautiful planet mostly dominated with water with chunks of land. However, the planet is mostly covered with a thick artificial planetary crust that is sealing Teresa's powers. A large chunk of the crust is floating above the planet, in a position to plug the last hole. A large Gatlantis fleet surrounds the opening to the planet while a smaller fleet guards the opening. The missile fleet is positioned just beyond the chunk of crust. The missile ships are basically destroyers with 2 large missiles attached to the bow. The flagship is a destroyer with a different kind of missile, this missile is long and pointed with several blades making up the body and a red spiral cylinder on the inside. On the surface, near a large hole in the ground, a small fleet of tanks based on the Gatlantis battleship patrol the area. The hulls are shaped like the Gatlantis battleships but instead of thrusters to propel the tank, it has huge treads that could easily crush a house. The first step in their plan consists of a fighter equipped with a warp booster with Cosmo Marines and other pilots inside battle suits. The Yamato launched a single Tiger II fighter and the Warp booster, which is a large body of wires and 2 large thrusters. The battle suits are large and bipedal. The pilots sit inside the body and they look out of the visor on the head. The hoofs are treads for faster speeds in the atmosphere. Each battlesuit comes with a jetpack, 2 anti-ship missiles, a dual pulse laser gun on the back and 2 medium caliber guns on the arms. The Marines grab onto the booster as the fighter is connected to the booster. The fighter then takes off and warps with the Yamato also warping too. The Yamato exits in front of the Missile fleet and engages them first with torpedos then with cannon fire. The Gatlantis ships fire back while the Fighter exits its warp behind the smaller guard fleet and turns around. The battle suits let go and fly off towards the Gatlantis ships. They launch their missiles first which destroys most of the ships in the fleet. They then engage then the ships themselves using their wrist cannons and pulse laser gunfire to great effect, mostly targeting the bridges of the ships. The Gatlantis ships quickly launch the few fighters they have to engage the humans. The fighters only manage to shoot down the unmaneuverable Cosmo Tiger 2 and it crash-lands on Terezart. The Yamato then warps into the area just as the last ship of the guard fleet is destroyed. It comes about, turning around and comes to a full stop and aims its main gun at the piece of crust, however, the Gatlantis act first and fire the larger missile. It flies directly into the crust and it shatters and creates a maelstrom of energy that rocks to Yamato, trapping it in the center of it. Now unable to use the main gun, the missile fleet fires their missiles at the Yamato but the Anti-Aircraft guns shoot them down. After all the missiles are shot down the Gatlantis ships begin to aim to fire on the Yamato. The crew continues with the plan and tries to aim the main gun but the maelstrom keeps shaking the ship. The battlesuits then fly over and begin to push on the Yamato on all sides with their thrusters at full thruster burn. The now stabilized Yamato takes aim at the Gatlantis ships. The same beeping occurs and the hologram flashes brightly and as the flash recedes the Gatlantis fleet has been vaporized.
The Yamato then flies out of the hole with only a few battlesuits helping it fly out as the main thruster reengages. The others head to the surface to rescue the downed pilot and destroy the Tanks. The tanks open fire on the Yamato with their quintuple gun cannons but they all miss while the Yamato takes out one of the tanks with the stern shock cannon. The battlesuits take out the needle drones that attack them while guarding the downed pilot whos on the ground injured. The tanks soon move in but the battlesuits take off and destroy the tanks with only a few left behind to guard the downed pilot. The battlesuits open fire with both their wrist cannons and pulse laser guns destroying the first wave but the second wave of reserves are much larger and they move in to finish the job. However, 2 battlesuit operators push giant chunks of rock down from orbit and crush many of the tanks but the rest still functioning opens fire with their cannons. The battlesuit operators begin to retreat back to the fighter. Meanwhile, the Yamato has returned to orbit and launched a few fighters carrying a device called the Wave-Motion Drill. They head to a specific part of the sealing shell and sets up the drill. The Gatlantis commander catches onto what they are doing and then fires the same beam cannon that the Garmillas used to create planet bombs 3 years ago. A Gatlantis tank hoists up a rod with a semi-translucent cone on the end. Orange electricity climbs up the rod and to the cone as the weapon charges. It fires into the sky and satellites begin to redirect the beam and it impacts a few hundred feet away from the group installing the Wave-Motion Drill. Noticing that the Gatlantis are using Garmillas scientist slaves to copy their work, he sets out in his fighter to one of the satellites and reprograms the entire network. After he completes his work the satellites aim and the next shot fired impacts the Gatlantis tank collum and destroys every last tank. Now with no reinforcements and the satellites now no longer under his control, the Gatlantis commander then aims the cannon at the battle suits and fires. The operators hardly have time to react as the beam streaks by, vaporizing the ground and killing 2 operators. As the rest retreat, one of the battlesuit operators flies over and opens fire and takes out the commander in hand-to-hand combat. Just as the operator wins the drill activates and the sealing crust shatters then blows up, shooting the pieces of the crust into space, freeing Terezart. The Yamato descends over the hole and a battlesuit operator and 2 humans go down the hole.

"With Terezart free and the Gatlantis ships destroyed, Teresa was free and we could visit her. There we found her and discovered that she wasn't a living being, but a higher dimensional being born when the planets original inhabitants pooled their minds together to achieve transcendence. She said that she didn't call for help, rather the Yamato and the crew were destined to be brought here to Terezart. She wasn't calling for help, rather her powers resonated with us and our wills to help others brought us here. We escaped from the war, helped a planet being invaded, discovered the Gatlantis White Comet, and stopped the Gatlantis from harnessing Teresa's powers that could have been used against us. Now, we could return home, however, before we could, an old thorn struck again. Dessler and his fleet came to Terezart in hope of using Teresa's power but when he discovered she wasn't a god he decided not to. There we discovered Dessler's goal, and why he attacked Earth. Garmillas is dying and to survive the Garmillans would have to relocate to a different planet. Thus they selected our planet to terraform, or Garmilliasforming to them, and used the planet bombs to kill us. We also discovered that Klaus Kiiman is a Dessler, nephew to Abelt, named Lanhardt Dessler. After some talking, Kiiman decided to betray us to help save his species and he activated anti-matter "bacteria" he placed in the Wave-Motion Engine earlier to disable the Yamato. With the Yamato disabled, the three of us were taken prisoner, however, after reconsulting with Teresa, Kiiman did the right thing, set us free, and deactivate the bacteria. We made our way back to the Yamato and set off to return home." Kodai says.

As the Yamato floats over the hole the rogue Garmillas fleet exits a warp jump and surrounds the Yamato. Outgunned and unprepared the crew doesn't do anything. The Desura II flies down then lands over the hole with its stern covering the hole, the bow pointed to the sky. After a bit, the Yamato breaks free and attacks the ships. The Garmillas open fire and fire more missiles at the Yamato. The Yamato dodges the missiles by flying close to the sea and allowing the missiles to dive into the water and drown. When the bacteria activate the Yamato's engine and thrusters shut off and the Yamato lands in the sea and come to a full stop. The Garmillas ships surround the Yamato but after a bit, power is restored to the Yamato and the ship takes off just as the ones who were captured steal a small Garmillian transport and they take off and rendevous with the Yamato. The Yamato heads out to space while Dessler's fleet heads out and away from the Yamato. As they leave Terezart disintegrates into nothing and yellow sparkles of light float away.

"With our mission complete, Terezart and Teressa now safe, we would carry out her wish to stop the Gatlantis Empire from wiping out all life. Thus we headed for home. Unknown to us, Gatlantis had launched a huge invasion of the Sol System. By the time we arrived, they had pushed into the system to the planet of Saturn. From there, we would face the might of the Gatlantis with our own new fleets." Kodai says.

The Hologram changes to the sixth planet, the large gas giant with the rings of space debris. A huge fleet of human ships of pre-war design orbit the planet with several ships of a new design. The ships are patrol ships. The entire hull is of tubular design. The front slowly tapers outward for three forths of the hull then straightens out with a large square protrusion and a small fin. The ship has about a dozen small turrets with cannons. 1 on the keel at the bow, 4 more embedded in the ship just behind the first, 2 turrets on the top, the small bridge just behind them, a single turret behind the bridge, a tall fin behind that turret, and 4 more turrets near the thrusters. The front is slanted with a large gun muzzle. The ship's orbit Saturn then hundreds of warp points open up and Gatlantis Super Battleships exit them and surround the fleet. The ships open fire on the human fleet and the human's fire back. The Gatlantis ships move in and begin to destroy the ships but the ships begin to charge up their super shock cannons. After some time the ships fire them out of the main gun ports at the bow of the ship. The beams strike the lead ships and vaporize them and keep going, any ship in the path of the beams is instantly destroyed. However, more and more ships keep coming in and soon a gigantic ship warps in. It's a giant carrier with 4 launch decks distributed on 2 large platforms, 1 platform on the top, the other on below. Inbetween the platforms are 2 pillars that connect the platforms to the hull of the ship. The platforms begin to rotate and as they do, sword-like ships take off. The "blade" body is in the shape of a longsword, long, flat and with the point of the sword in the middle. The "guard" is angled back towards the hilt. The ship's launch and fly and super-fast speeds towards the human ships. The human ships try to shoot them down but most of them get through and begin to stab the ships. Most of the ships that are stabbed are immediately destroyed and blow up. Soon most of the fleet is destroyed but then several beams fly past the human fleet and take out the Gatlantis ships. Behind them and outside of Saturns orbit a large human fleet comprised of Andromeda class battleships and Andromeda class carriers. A huge fleet of a new smaller battleship that looks similar to the Andromeda, but smaller, accompanies them. It has 3 gun turrets instead of 4, and the bow is flat for the single Wave-Motion gun instead of pointed: the Dreadnought class battleships and the new Wave-Motion Fleet. Soon more Dreadnought battleships warp in, hundreds, and more Wave-Motion beams shoot out from below Saturn's rings and destroy more Gatlantis ships. Suddenly Dreadnought ships fly out from below the rings and open fire with their gun turrets as they charge the Gatlantis fleet and yet more Dreadnoughts join in and cover the retreating ships. Soon it devolves into chaos as Gatlantis ships begin to ram and mix with the human ships as they fire on each other. However, more and more Dreadnought ships keep warping into the battle turning the tide against Gatlantis. Now worried, the White Comet warps into the system, once again eerie organ music is heard playing. The ponies stare in awe as it's even bigger than the planet. The human fleet immediately pulls back behind the main fleet while the Gatlantis forces are enveloped by the comet's gases. The Dreadnoughts then begin to line up in lines then split to make a large grid of ships. The Andromeda ships fire out some small missiles and the missiles then detonate after a few miles into a large mass of gravitational energy walls. The Andromeda and Dreadnought ships all begin to charge up their Wave-Motion guns and soon fire. The beams all fire at the same time and hit the gravitational walls and fuse the beams into 5 separate beams. The beams travel towards the White Comet and finally fuse into a single giant beam and it strikes the White Comet. The ponies watch as the comet's gases begin to swirl around the beam. After a bit, the gases explode and the smoke begins to dissipate. The ponies mouths drop when they see the Gatlantis capital. Its a goliath Space station with multiple arm protrusions that form a ball cage with the bottom left open. A tall tower rises up from the top center of the station that has 10 red eye-like lights on it. Inside the cage arms are a few planets. The size of the station is large enough that Saturn could fit into the cage making the thousands upon thousands of Gatlantis ships surrounding the front of the station look like specks of dust to it.

"This. This is their capital? It's. Huge. I wasn't expecting this. How could someone construct such a monstrosity?" Shining said in awe.

"The size of such a structure. The civilization that created this. Just how many advanced civilizations like this are there?" Twilight said.

"Shh. He's continuing." Cadence said and the ponies look back at the monitor. The organ music begins to soften so Kodai can talk.

"The Ark of Destruction. A structure built by the Aquarius civilization. The same civilization that built the Celestial Ark, Shambleau, that we encountered during our travels from Iscandar. However, unlike Shambleau, the Ark of Destruction was created to control the species that they gave their genes to and if the race were to become a great threat, to put them down." As Kodai finishes the organ music loudens.

The Ark stands still as the Wave-Motion fleet begins to recharge up their main guns for another attack. The Ark activates its defenses, 5 red rings appear around the ark, 4 smaller rings appear, split between the top and bottom and a single giant ring in the middle. The Wave-Motion fleet fires and the beams spread out then impact the shield. The shield absorbs the blast much to the astonishment of everypony. Tens of thousands of beams with the power to destroy huge ships with a single beam and not a scratch on the Ark. The Ark recloaks in its white gases and enables its own superweapon, a large gravitational pull. The human ships begin to get pulled in by the ark and arrow missiles fly out from the gases and begin to destroy the fleet. One arrow flies under the Andromeda and misses but the energy shockwave from it rips the bow and tears off the 2 Wave-Motion guns. As the Andromeda nears the white Comets gases sphere an Andromeda-class carrier rams the Andromeda and begins to push it using its full thrusters. The Andromeda manages to ignite its full thrusters just as the carrier runs out of energy and the thrusters shut off. The Andromeda escapes with other ships while the other Andromeda sister ships are gone. Only the Andromeda and a few Dreadnought ships escape.

"The first battle of Saturn was disastrous for humanity. Nearly the entire Wave-Motion fleet was eliminated. Only a handful, no, less than a handful, were left. However, we made it along with a discovery. The Anti-matter bacteria that Kiiman placed in our engine was impossible to remove. But we discovered that to eliminate it we would need to fire the Wave-Motion Gun and the bacteria would also empower the gun, amplifying its power many times over for a single-use. We decided we would use the Wave-Motion gun and hope that it would delay the Gatlantis invasion. However, the Gatlantis Prime Minister, Shifual Sabera, the Gatlantean intruder we found, made a deal with one of our crew. For information on how we have such a large fleet even though we were near extinction just a few years ago and to reactivate the Anti-matter bacteria. In exchange, they provided us with a cure for radiation sickness. Once the cure was found to be genuine, he reactivated the bacteria, shutting down our engine. Unfortunately, we just arrived at Saturn when he activated the bacteria. Without our main engine, we got caught in the White Comet's gravitational pull but we had the time and began to abandon the Yamato but not enough to get everyone off. Heck, not even half of the crew were able to escape. But thankfully, they were able to escape safely and were rescued while the Yamato was drawn in and we landed on a planet housed in the Arks cage. The ones who were able to escape were rescued by the survivors of the Wave-motion fleet and the Yamatos sister ship: the Ginga. She took control of the fleet along with a Garmillian fleet with the shield ships blocking the Ark from warping." Kodai continues.

The Yamato warps in front of the White Comet and just as it comes out the thrusters shut off and the Yamato begins to plummet towards the White Comet. Soon fighters and transports begin to launch to get the crew to safety but as the Yamato begins to enter the comet's gases it seals itself up. The fighters and transports escape just as a large Garmillian fleet exits its warp along with several Garmillian Andromeda-class carriers. The surviving members of the Wave-motion fleet who weren't damaged join in too as well as a new ship. It looks just like the Yamato but with a new superstructure and hundreds of small blue lights across its hull. The superstructure has a huge half-dome near the base that extends out and replaces the first secondary turret. The second bridge is a smaller half-dome in the middle and finally at the top is the command bridge with the back of the top extended out.

"The Ginga. A Yamato class space battleship that was designed by our executive officer who wanted the vessel to be a symbol of peace and exploration, not of violence. It may have guns but they were useless as the Cosmo-Reverse System power the ship and thus disabled them. It was originally built for exploration but the UNCF turned it into a warship with an AI that basically controlled the ship. While the Ginga, Wave-Motion fleet, and the Garmillian fleet kept Gatlantis from intruding farther we crash-landed on one of the Gatlantis held planets. There we discovered the origin of Zworder and the Gatlantis. The Gatlanteans were slaves to the Zemulian race. However, Zworder fell in love with a Zemulian woman and they had a child. During this time he began a rebellion to free the other Gatlanteans but failed when his love for his wife and child drove him to betray his people and the Zemulians killed his wife and child. The surviving Gatlanteans soon found the Ark of Destruction and began their campaign against all life, emotions, and love. We discovered that Sabera was also the clone of Zworder's dead wife. With this knowledge, she turned against Gatlantis. We learned of the Golem, a weapon that kills all artificial cells, however, the Golem was in the hands of Zworder. In order to stop the Gatlanteans we needed the Golem and thus we needed to get to Zworder. Meanwhile, the Ginga lead the defense using a lot of new technology." Kodai says.

The hologram shows the Ginga as it uses the Cosmo-Reverse system to strengthen the shields of the Wave-Motion fleet. A fleet of Gatlantis ships exits the comet's gases and soon unmanned black Cosmo Zeros called Black Birds launch from the bottom hangar and are piloted by Ginga's AI and they fly out to the fleet. A Zero with the nose painted is launched from a catapult on the stern deck with a pilot at the helm. The fighters take off and head towards the Gatlantis fleet. The Gatlanteans open fire on the fighters and destroy a few but most of the fighters make it through and fire their missiles. The missiles fly out then burst open sending thousands of Wave-Motion cores flying out. The fighter breaks off to return to the Ginga but the Gatlanteans begin to destroy the cores. With their plan fast deteriorating the Ginga charges the Cosmo-Reverse System with the fighters still in the area. The Cosmo-Reverse System is then activated and a blast of orange energy is fired out of the main gun barrel. The blast engulfs the entire Gatlantis fleet and the Wave-Motion Cores resonate with the energy and begins to make the Gatlantis ships engines go haywire. The ships begin to scatter and ram into each other. After the fleet is decimated arrow missiles fly out and strike the Garmillian shield ships and blow them up, destroying them. The White Comet begins to move, leaving a trail of gases behind it, and the gravity of the comet makes the ships shake violently and push them aside. The ships begin to warp before they can be destroyed. The comet then warps to the forth red planet, Mars, where the Garmillian fleet and the Wave-Motion fleet also warps into but the Ginga doesn't. A large Gatlantis fleet exits the gases along with the same giant carrier that launches fighters this time and the fleets engage them. The 2 fleets engage each other while the Super Dreadnought carries 6 shields but soon destroyers take the shields while the Super Dreadnought retreats.

"The White Comet made it the Mars defense line, our final and most defense line. Andromeda and unmanned, automated Andromeda class ships also took part in the attack by attacking the Ark directly. However, the UNCF command, most likely General Serizawa, enacted Plan G. It made the Ginga leave to find a new world, while artificial reproduction would hopefully keep our race alive while the Dimensional Time Fault would become automated and keep shipbuilding going. Plan G was a plan made out of fear and would rely on machines. However, we refused to become emotionless machines like the Gatlantis. We wanted to remain human and cling to hope. Meanwhile, Gatlantis discovered us and began to destroy the planet we were on. We managed to take off and escape and thanks to Andromeda and Ginga, we escaped successfully." Kodai says.

The hologram changes to inside the White Comet where dozens of Andromeda class Battleships and Andromeda, all of them equipped with a Dreadnought battleship docked on each of their sides, warp in above the Ark with all thrusters at full thruster burn and the fleet charges the Gatlantis protection fleet and the Ark while charging up their main guns. The Gatlantis ships respond by opening fire. Some ships collide with each other while only a few are taken out by beam fire. The Andromeda ships once again fire the Wave-Motion guns but the Ark activates its defenses again and blocks the beams. Meanwhile, inside the cage, hundreds of thousands of Gatlantis ships form a tube and fire a large orange beam that begins to destroy the planet that the Yamato is on. The Yamato takes off but the gravitational core keeps the Yamato from flying far from the exploding planet. Andromeda notices this and moves to the gravitational core that's hanging below the Ark's body. As the Andromeda moves in all of the Andromeda ships are destroyed, the dreadnought ships are destroyed, and a sword ship cuts the bridge of Andromeda in half, exposing the Captain, who's in a spacesuit, to space. Andromeda soon reaches the gravitational core and the Ginga soon warps in behind the Andromeda. Both ships begin to charge up their main guns. The Ginga activates the Cosmo-Reverse System first and the beam surrounds the Andromeda, then the Andromeda fires its Wave-Motion guns. The Cosmo-Reverse System empowers the Wave-Motion beams and strikes the gravitational core, disabling it and just in time. The Yamato escapes just as the planet is breaking up and chunks of lava strike the ship and a giant chunk of crust nearly crushes the Yamato but the Andromeda uses her rocket anchors and pulls the Yamato out. All 3 ships leave the White Comet while the Garmillas ships move in with their shields to keep the White Comet from warping. The heavily damaged Andromeda pulls the Yamato out of the gases but soon the damage takes its toll and the Andromeda uncouples from the Yamato and plummets into a cloud bank with internal explosions all across the ship. As the ship disappears into the cloud bank it explodes completely. The ponies watch in suspense fearing for the captain's life but then the manned Cosmo Zero Black Bird comes out of the clouds with the captain on the back. The Yamato and Ginga then head for a nearby shipyard where the Garmillas Super Dreadnought is also.

"While the Garmillian fleet kept the Gatlantis at bay, we repaired the Yamato and upgraded her, adding more weapons to her using parts from the Ginga. By cannibalizing parts from the Ginga, we were able to repair the Yamato in a short amount of time. Once the ship was complete, we set out to stop the Gatlantis Empire. However, on our way, we were once again confronted by our old nemesis." Kodai continues.

The hologram changes to the Mars Shipyard, the Ginga is docked to the port side of the Yamato while the Garmillas Super Dreadnought is to the starboard, stern of the Yamato. The Ginga has been stripped of hull platting, electronics, a gun turret, and several Anti-Aircraft guns. The Yamato sets off now equipped with more Anti-Aircraft guns and slightly different radar and sensors near the bridge. As the Yamato leaves, the hologram changes to a void where Yamato is seen, and then a blinking purplish light is shown and then the purplish beam of the Desura's II Wave-Motion gun is shown and the Yamato doges it just in time. The Desura II is shown facing the Yamato down.

"Dessler once again tries to interfere with us. This time, the Gatlanteans promised to help Dessler and the Garmillian people find a new planet to call their home. We attacked them and they attacked us with needle drones. We made a plan to shut the drones down but to do that we had to board the core ship. We made it to the core ship and after a heated confrontation, we made Dessler and his Gatlantis liaison stand down and we made peace but at the cost of the liaison's life. We managed to shut down the needle drones and Dessler gave us the Desura II to help us against Gatlantis" Kodai says.

The Yamat enters a warp and a second later exits right in front of the Desura II. The core ship disconnects and the Yamato rams right into the body of the ship trapping the Yamato but the Yamato's shields prevent any damage to it. Immediately hundreds of needle drones attack the Yamato and the Cosmo Marines suit up in their battle suits and attack the needle drones. While the Cosmo Marines are occupied with the drones a ship docks with the small core ship. After a while, the drones are shut down and the core ship leaves, rendezvousing with the loyalist faction, and the crew of the Yamato remove themselves from the Desura II's hull and enters warp.

"Dessler finally saw reason and he left us be as we had a more powerful enemy to defeat and just in time as the situation became critical. The White Comet managed to warp to Earth and planned to consume her. We weren't going to let that happen. Supported by the Garmillas, we made our way into the Ark in hopes of defeating Zworder. He didn't make it easy and when it was all through, we lost many of our crew. Friends. People we called family. And yet, Zworder's hatred for life continued." Kodai continues.

The hologram changes to Earth where the White Comet approaches it but before it can reach the planet, Yamato exits its warp. The White Comet stops and the Yamato begins to charge up its main gun with a similar beeping commencing. The Desura II warps in, connected to the Yamato to shield it from the radiant energy from the gun. The Ark activates its defenses again but this time concentrates all of the rings to intercept the gun. The gun fires and a gigantic ball of orange energy are built up at the bow of the Desura II and once again flashes as it fires. After the flash dims and the ponies look back and their eyes widen and jaws drop. Even with the station's defenses, the empowered Wave-motion gun blasted through the defenses and took most of the station out, leaving only the body and stubs from its former limbs. The Desura II was also destroyed by the blast and along with much of the Gatlantis fleet in front of the station. The remaining Gatlantis ships regroup and prepare to attack the Yamato but several dozen warp points open up and Garmillian ships exit them. They begin to catch up to the Yamato while 4 Garmillas submarines, including the UX-01, "surface" around the Yamato. 3 of the submarines take a position at the bow of the Yamato while the forth takes position behind the Yamato's stern. Together their engines resonate and begin to open a bigger entrance to subspace and begin to take the Yamato under it like their diving into real water. The Garmillian fleet passes them and engages the Gatlantis forces. Meanwhile, the submarines escort Yamato into the Ark and then release her. The Yamato surfaces inside the Ark's perimeter. The inside is mostly red and black with towers that are actually ship, both above and below them. The Yamato immediately launches all of its fighters and they fly off. Meanwhile, Sabera connected with Yamato's automatic navigation system and using her telepathy powers connected with the station, opening the gate to the station's interior, and commandeered many of the damaged or still in construction super battleships. The ships join with the Yamato but one of Zworder's men begins to wrestle control from her as black Gatlantis ships, many of them missile and arrow missile ships, attack the Yamato along with sword ships. The Yamato opens fire with every gun it has while the super battleships cover the ship. However, the amount of fire and sword ships don't make it easy and soon smoke, explosions, and fire begin to appear from the damaged Yamato.

"We lost many lives, many of them without mercy, and most of them bloody deaths. Chief Engineer Tokugawa, Saburo Kato the traitor and fighter captain, Analyzer, even our captain, Admiral Hijikata, were killed. Zworder even killed Sabera." Kodai says somberly and closes his eyes and 2 tears roll down his face. "So many of our close friends. Dead in a matter of minutes. And yet we continued on. We had to. For their sacrifice. We reached the throne room and tried to persuade Zworder to stop. However, he wouldn't listen to me but after watching one of his ministers sacrifice himself to save him from a stray shot, he finally understood that he was human and that he still had feelings. Thus he activated the Golem to try and destroy himself and his people. While all of the clones were killed, only Zworder survived. The Ark of Destruction then assumed a form more fitting to destroy us, its true form, and Zworder decided to stay and allowed himself to be fused to the Ark. We evacuated. And yet. There was still more loss to come." Kodai finishes and tries to remain composed.

The Gatlantis ships open fire on the Yamato and Sword ships rain down on it as well. One sword gets lodged in the stern near the starboard catapult while another sword gets stuck in between the bow and midship on the keel. Hundreds of missiles are shot down, beam fire damages the ship and the ship is stabbed twice. Some missiles get through but are destroyed near the bridge. All throughout the ship, fires, and explosions occur killing many of the crew. Pieces of metal fall and crush the crew members unlucky enough to be under it. Soon the Yamato once again uses the ARGO system on a few of the Super Battleships and uses pieces of them to create a protective 3 ring layered field that spins around them. Ships, missiles, and beams that try to get past the field are destroyed. The Yamato blasts through and enters the gate with the gate closing behind them. All the fighters and battlesuits follow the Yamato as it clears another gate and soon stops at a smaller gate. As a small team enters the gate a swarm of needle drones appears and begins to burrow into the ship's bow deck and into the automated navigation compartment where Sabera is laying inside a capsule while controlling the station. The waterfall of drones immediately kills her and the drones burrow all the way through and exits under the keel of the ship. With no one to control them, the super battleships then begin to descend into the abyss, and the doors close. The ship begins to maneuver to get away from the drones and fires the Anti-aircraft guns and main turrets at them as the fighters and battlesuits engage them. Soon the Golem activates and a shockwave is sent out across the system and all the Gatlantis clones begin to fall over dead which in turn caused all Gatlantis ships to become disorganized and crash into each other. The Garmillas ships then turn and begin to retreat with some of them having sword ships sticking out of them. However, the Ark of Destruction activates and begins to reconstruct itself by sucking anything up. Zworder allows himself to be fused into the Ark and the Yamato and everyone escapes just as the Ark finishes its transformation. The new Ark of Destruction looks like a giant bat. The sides are like giant wings and the gravitational core hangs below on a teether. As the Yamato and the fighters are escaping, Kiiman's fighter flies by with a bomb attached to its belly. The Cosmo Marine Chief joins him in his spacesuit. The 2 of them begin to fly towards the Ark's gravitational core. A swarm of needle drones intercepts them but the chief opens fire to give them a path.

"Kiiman. Knowing that this new form of the Ark would be incredibly dangerous, he decided to take the last Wave-motion drilling core and detonate it inside the Arks gravitational core to stop it. However, he was out of ammo, so, the commander of the Cosmo Marines, Hajime Saito, continued on with him. During our last battle with Dessler, he discovered he was under the influence of Gatlantis after being on the Eleventh Planet and with Sabera. Thus, he decided to sacrifice himself so he wouldn't become a danger to us. Both of them were going to die and they knew it. But they had hoped, that with their sacrifice, they would at least disable the station." Kodai says somberly.

Kiiman and Saito fly directly at the glowing gravitational core as the needle drones fly at them firing their needles. Saito opens fire with his arm machine guns and shoots down dozens of drones but most get through to fire their needles. Saito is almost immediately stabbed by a few needles. He immediately begins to bleed heavily and yet he keeps on going not giving up. The 2 of them keep flying and soon a needle pierces Kiiman's fighter from behind the cockpit and it impales Kiiman through his abdomen. Purple blood flows out of Kiiman as he removes his helmet yet undeterred he keeps going and pulls out the wave-motion drilling core detonator. Just as the reach the core, Saito stops firing as be succumbs to his injures and dies but with a smile on his face. Kiiman smiles as he enters the core and detonates the drilling core. A huge gravitational shockwave is sent out that rocks all the fighters still outside and blows them and the Yamato clear. The Cosmo Tiger 1 is also destroyed with the cockpit being blown away. After the shockwave ends, the Ark shuts down and the fighters begin to return to the Yamato. But then the Ark reactivates and it aims the teether in a quick fashion and fires a purple beam at Earth but it misses Earth, grazing the moon and Earth. A small chunk of the moon is blasted off, destroying the Garmillian embassy base while Earth itself remains unharmed but the beam destroys several skyscrapers. Zwordar's sicking laugh can be heard as his conscious has integrated with the Ark. With Zwordar in control of the entire Ark of Destruction, he begins to move off to absorb a planet to immediately recharge the beam cannon.

"Zwordar became one with the Ark of Destruction. He originally should have just become a resource to the Ark to help rebuild it but his mind and consciousness were able to manifest and he took over the Ark. Now one with the most deadly weapon in the galaxy, we had little choice left thus I gave the order. We began to evacuate the Yamato. Everyone was to leave the ship and, along with other humans, evacuate Earth and find a new home planet. However, that was just a front. I, myself, had decided to stay behind on the Yamato and pilot her into the Ark by overcharging the Wave-Motion Engine to 250%. However, unbeknown to me, Yuki stayed behind to join me. Thus, the 2 of us decided to destroy the Ark together. But as we overcharged the Wave-Motion Engine, something incredible happened. We managed to open a door to a higher dimension and called Teresa to our dimension. She led us as we headed towards the Ark. It was because of her, that we were able to destroy the Ark and even survive." Kodai says with a smile.

As rescue ships begin to leave the Yamato with most of its crew, a young Kodai can be seen still standing on the bridge, saluting the transports while old battleships begin to evacuate civilians from the planet's surface. Kodai then sits down in the captain's chair and he begins to program the Wave-Motion Engine to go critical when the starboard lift door opens and Yuki steps out and after a few moments they hug and together they make the Wave-Motion Engine go critical. Yuki then sits across Kodai's lap and embraces him as the Yamato sails towards the Ark. Suddenly the entire Yamato begins to glow gold. The ponies watch in amazement. Suddenly, a beautiful, naked human female appears out of thin air, on her knees, her hands clasped in a praying fashion and her head is leaning back to look up. Her silky, golden hair extends to the floor and into a heap. Soon she opens her eyes and looks down at the Yamato with a smile. She turns around and faces the Ark and her long flowing hair conceals her body and the Yamato follows her as they all head towards the Ark. Teresa guides the Yamato, Kodai, and Yuki as all 4 of them sail straight at the Ark. The golden Yamato, Teresa, Yuki, and Kodai sail straight at the Ark. The Yamato impacts the Ark and the golden light glows brighter as the ship explodes and the ponies cover their eyes. The bright shine soon recedes and the ponies look at the hologram as the Ark of Destruction is now in a thousand pieces floating around them and yet there is no sign or piece of the Yamato floating about.

"We did it. We were able to destroy the Ark of Destruction. However, we were gone. Gone. But not dead. Yuki, the Yamato, and I were transferred into Teresa's dimension. We weren't saved, Teresa didn't bring us there to save us but because we overcharged the Wave-Motion Engine to 250% and opened the door to her dimension, we were pulled in when the explosion happened. There we remained for 6 months trying to find ourselves. Yuki regained her memories after losing most of them while I was stuck in the limbo of unending wars. Teresa was able to send the Yamato back to our dimension via the Dimensional Time Fault along with one of our best pilots that got left behind on the Yamato, Akira Yamamoto. With Akira back, she informed the surviving Yamato crew and the UNCF that Yuki and I could be saved. Thus our friends came up with a plan but it would mean challenging the UNCF top brass. Using Ginga's Cosmo-Reverse System, they would sacrifice the Dimensional Time Fault to send the Yamato to the higher dimension. Of course, there was much opposition to this plan as the factory was still producing tons of ships. Thus it was put to a vote with the people. Either save us or keep the Dimensional Time Fault. I'm happy to say that the people voted to save us. All because our XO, Shiro Sanada, gave such a passionate speech. Yuki and I owed him, and Yamamoto, our lives, along with everyone else who voted for us. We were rescued and brought back to our dimension where we could live out our lives." Kodai says with a smile.

The hologram changes to the Dimensional Time Fault where workers are still working and ships are still being deployed from the factory. The factory is basically a mess of platforms, monorails, tubes, and domes all centered around a giant pilon. The pilon extends downward into a subspace border that looks like water. The surrounding space is infinite that extends into darkness and the "skyline" is like a starry sky. An orange and white-colored Dreadnought class battleship with the words U.N.C.F. Laboratory Prometheus floats down with several humans wearing a yellow maintenance version of the spacesuits. The pilots look around as they hear an eerie sound of short, high pitch whines. One of the works looks over the port side of the Laboratory Prometheus and a golden light glows from beneath the waves. Suddenly the Yamato surfaces with the bow jumping out and then landing with a large splash with a foghorn blasting. The ship comes to settle in the water and immediately transports and maintenance craft moves in to board the vessel. The Yamato is in pretty bad shape with lots of blast holes, gun barrels are broken and the bridge sensors are in disarray. Soon an infiltration team is sent in by entering through the main gun barrels and cutting their way through the breech block of the middle cannon of one of the turrets. After a while, the infiltration team exits the ship with a tannish brown skin-colored female with gray hair on a gurney. While the politicians and military leaders argue with the Yamato supporters, repair crews get straight to work on repairing the Yamato. They remove the extra anti-aircraft cannons that were installed during the war with Gatlantis and reverts the ship back to its original look while keeping the internal upgrades. Weeks pass in the Dimensional Time Fault but only a few days pass in the real world but during that time, the workers manage to repair the Yamato and bring it back to its original look. After some time, the vote to sacrifice the Dimensional Time Fault is put up with General Serizawa, a human male with a bit of a rounded body, a gray hair bar, and a nice, well-kept mustache, making a speech about saving the Dimensional Time Fault to keep producing ships at an accelerated speed to ensure humanities safety. After his speech, Shiro Sanada, a more lean human male with short black hair, makes his passionate speech about saving a man and woman whom he calls friends. Not a hero that many others call them, but a person, a human. That the populace didn't need to fear the unknown and that all it takes is a glimmer of hope to win a battle or war. They shouldn't turn to despair and use the Dimensional Time Fault to keep building more and more ships out of fear but use the Dimensional Time Fault to save 2 humans that can give hope to everyone. After both speeches are finished, the votes come in and by a huge margin, the Yamato crew wins. The Dimensional Time Fault factory is immediately evacuated with all personal, ships, machines and building materials are moved out of the Dimensional Time Fault, and the crew boards the Yamato and takes off, holding position above the watery border. The Ginga takes position over the entrance to the Dimensional Time Fault and activates Cosmo-Reverse System. The orange firey beam flies down from orbit and into the Dimensional Time Fault and surrounds the Yamato and the factory. The ocean begins to glow gold again and the Yamato floats down, first settling into the water, then diving into the water. The hologram centers on the Yamato as it keeps diving into the golden water but then the ocean flips and the Yamato is now ascending with the bow angled upwards a bit. After a bit, the Yamato breaks the surface and floats up to where Kodai, wearing his white and red uniform, and Yuki, wearing her yellow and black skin-tight uniform, are hugging while floating in the air. A gigantic tree of golden light is behind them with the golden branches swaying side to side. Kodai and Yuki look down as the Yamato nears them and comes to a stop just below them. They float down onto the deck of the Yamato and enter the superstructure and head up to the bridge where they are warmly welcomed back with by the crew. After a bit, the Yamato descends once again into the water to return to their dimension. The hologram changes to Earth where the Ginga and 4 cruisers are in orbit waiting for the Yamato to return. A tear opens up and the golden water flows out like a waterfall of golden powder and the Yamato descends from the tear. The tear seals itself once the Yamato clears the tear and the crew looks on at the 5 ships greeting them, and Earth.

"Our rescue operation would be the Yamato's last operation for a few decades. Of course, we had small skirmishes, and border disputes but never once did we have to bring the Yamato back to combat alert. Dessler returned to Garmillas and became Emperor again and lead his people with a more democratic approach. They soon discovered a new planet only a few systems away but it had a near-identical atmosphere to the original home planet. The Garmillas people moved there and called the planet New Garmillas. As the years passed, the Yamato basically just stayed on Earth mostly. There was no need for the Yamato to leave and engage in small conflicts. But that all changed, when we were attacked. In 2234, we were attacked by a force, not from our galaxy. Not just Earth, but Garmillians and Iscandar were attacked as well. The attackers called themselves the Balyuut Federation. Their objective was simple: to survive and self-preservative. They believed in the law of the jungle where only the strongest would live and advance. They would destroy every living being that did not serve a need to them. They started with New Garmillas and Iscandar. Even with our aid, they were laid low in a matter of weeks. New Garmillas was destroyed and Queen Starsha and Princess Yurisha of Iscandar were killed. They were all wiped out. With no hint of remorse. Only we were left." Kodai continues his story. His happy tone goes to a sad tone.

The hologram shows that as the years go by the Yamato stays in the Sol system while its crew members grow older, marry, start families but still stay together. Kodai and Yuki have a daughter who joins the Cosmo Navy as well but isn't assigned to the Yamato unfortunately. The Balyuut ships soon arrive from outside their galaxy and immediately attacks the Garmillas colony worlds. The Garmillas soon manage to mobilize their own fleet but the intruders keep moving, destroying all life, even animals and insects. Whole planets are laid bare. Soon the human ships mobilize and the first battle group arrives to engage the Balyuut's forces at a colony world deep within Garmillas territory but even they get wiped out. Meanwhile, the Yamato is underway for a sever overhaul of everything. The ship is being upgraded at a drydock behind the first planet, Mercury, while the Ginga takes the lead as Flagship. Weeks go by and both New Garmillas and Iscandar are devastated during this time. The hologram shows the New Garmillas planet split into 4 parts and tons of rubble surround the planet while the surface is ablaze. Remnants of the Garmillas fleet litter the space around the planet and rubble field. The hologram zooms in on a section of the planet and to the Royal Palace and on the throne where Dessler is sitting with a giant sword through his chest and into the wall behind him with all of his ministers and soldiers dead on the ground. The hologram then changes to Iscandar which was left intact as the princesses never fought back. The hologram zooms in on the planet and onto the planets graveyard where Queen Starsha and Princess Yurisha are laying on the ground, side by side, with large gun wounds on their back. They are holding hands with their dead eyes looking at each but they have smiles on their faces.
The hologram now changes to the Sol System and the last planet, Pluto, where a large human fleet of Patrol ships, Dreadnought battleships, and Andromeda battleships. Soon purple warp points open up and a large fleet of ships exit them. 3 types of ships make up the fleet.
The smallest ship is in the shape of an oval with 4 thrusters at the back of the ship and the ships are covered in cannon ports instead of gun turrets. The swiftness of the ship allows the ship to infiltrate a fleet and open fire on the ships while dodging return fire. The stationary guns allow the ship to fire more accurately and easily during high-speed maneuvers.
The medium-sized ships are shaped like a diamond tube with a pyramid nose at the bow and a single giant thruster at the stern. 12 gun turrets with 2 guns per turret sit on the flats, 3 per side. Missile launchers adorn the side in between the turrets and a very exposed and prominent bridge stands atop of the superstructure behind the second turret.
The largest ships are in the form of a cross with a tall superstructure directly in the middle and the bridge 3 levels up. Running along the top and bottom of cross-section arms are dozens of 2-gun turrets making for a powerful broadside attack. The long bottom part of the cross opens up and hundreds of automated multirole strike craft exit the ship and heads for the human fleet.
The fighters are shaped like an oval dome, rounded on top but flat on the bottom. A canopy window at the front of the fighter houses the pilot. The fighter carries 10 pulse laser guns, a single large caliber Anti-ship cannon in the middle, and several bombs or missiles on the belly of the fighter. The craft is propelled by 2 rectangle thrusters.

"With Garmillas and Iscandar destroyed, we were the only ones left standing. We pulled back all of our assets, evacuated our colonies on the frontier, and retrofitted every military vessel, new and old. We fortified the Sol System with the hope that we could stop the Balyuut Federation. It was a hard-fought battle, but we did it. We stopped them at the Asteroid belt. With our new flagship, we managed to stem their advance but we could not remove them. Thus the war became a stalemate. High command figured that in order to win, we would need to send a ship behind enemy lines and find the flagship or whatever station they give the commands in. They, of course, chose the Yamato to do this. Now fully repaired and retrofitted we set off once again. Of course, finding the place is hard, but it wasn't anything we weren't accustomed to. Once again the Yamato set off to save the human race." Kodai says.

The hologram changes to the Mercury dockyards where the newly retrofitted Yamato is sitting and waiting as her crew board her and begins to take their positions. Kodai sits in his captain's seat and the Yamato launches. Crews from other ships and dockworkers salute her as she leaves. They fly past Earth where ships fire off blank rounds from their cannons to salute the ship and the crews stand and salute the ship themselves. The Yamato soon loses sight of the planet and enters a warp.

"Thus our new adventure began. Our last one for humanity. Our objective was simple: find and destroy the Balyuut's command vessel. Using their fleet movements and following the path of the worlds they destroyed we began to extrapolate where the command vessel could be. We followed many leads and investigated many places with the only thing we could find are large fleets. But soon, we caught up and found their command vessel." Kodai says.

The hologram shows a montage of the Yamato warping to many places in search of the Balyuut command vessel, sometimes finding nothing, sometimes fleets of Balyuut ships. As the Yamato goes deeper into Balyuut controlled space the fleets grow in size and new ships, such as giant super-dreadnoughts and ginormous battle stations, appear and give the Yamato a hard time but they manage to push through and repair the ship. Soon the Yamato gain a strong lead on the whereabouts of the Balyuut's command vessel from hacking one of the Balyuut ship systems: in the Carina-Sagittarius arm, inside the Homunculus Nebula of the Carina Nebula. As the Yamato travels through the red, ionized gases of the Carina Nebula, approaching the Homunculus Nebula, a ginormous shadow can be seen inside the Homunculus Nebula.

"Following the intel we acquired, we discovered that the Balyuutians hid their command vessel inside the Homunculus Nebula inside the Carina Nebula, part of the Carina-Sagittarius arm of our galaxy. However, they had already begun to enact their plan to destroy humanity. They made our sun go Supernova. They.........destroyed everything......killed everyone........our daughter, Ayumi, was also there when the star exploded. They all died. But we ensured that their deaths were avenged and their souls found peace." Kodai speaks. He begins to cry as he brings up the death of his daughter and the failed mission to save the earth.

The hologram changes back to the solar system where UNCF ships and Balyuut ships have engaged with each other near Uranus. The 2 gigantic fleets fire on each other with everything they have. Soon a squad of super-dreadnoughts enters the battle, escorting a giant missile. The super-dreadnoughts look like the normal dreadnoughts, only these are 10 times bigger and the missile is in the form of a pyramid that is 4 times bigger than the super-dreadnoughts. The Balyuut forces double down and blow a hole through the human fleet large enough that the super-dreadnoughts are able to launch the missile. The missile flies through, past both fleets, and at earth. The home defense fleet gets news of it and readies themselves. A few minutes later the missile nears earth and the fleet opens fire on the missile but heavy armor deflects the beams off the body. With no time to fire their wave-motion guns, the fleet moves to get out of its way, those that don't crash into the missile and are blown up. The missile misses earth and scrapes a few buildings and continues onward. Just as the missile passes the second planet, Venus, without turning around to correct it's course do the humans finally realize that earth was never the missile's target. They can only watch as the missile enters the sun and pray. The sun then begins the glow brighter and shrink then it expands and explodes in bright light. The ponies cover their eyes as earth, the fleets, everything is burned away for light-years around. The hologram zooms out and shows the Milky Way Galaxy where Earth and the Sol system used to be, now only a bright ball of light is left.

"We were the only humans left. The Balyuut leader, King Yumunabu, broadcasted this act for all of us to see. We were forced to watch as the sun went supernova and destroyed the entire Sol system, and we couldn't do anything to stop it. We failed, many of us began to turn to despair. However, I reminded them of our wars against the Garmillians and Gatlantis. Our journies to Iscandar and Terezart. That through all of that, the crew of the Yamato never let despair win. We might have turned to it but we never gave into it. We would avenge them. The crimes that the Balyuut leader committed would not go unpunished. This spurred the crew back to action. We entered the Homunculus Nebula and confronted the Balyuut leader and his forces."

As the Yamato enters the Homunculus Nebula, it is immediately besieged by the station's gigantic defense fleet. The fleet fires on the Yamato but the Yamato's shields hold firm as they increase their speed. As they enter the nebula, they finally see the station. And it's enormous. The station is comprised of 2 Pyramids on a giant disk, 1 on top, the other pyramid below it. The disk itself is gigantic, the diameter of which was equal to the Sol systems sun, while the pyramids are as large as Jupiter at the base. The base has no defenses by itself, only its gigantic defense fleet. The fleet bunches up in order to get the glory to kill on the last human ship and the one which has caused them the most trouble. This only causes issues as the fleet begins to fire on itself or crash into each other. The Yamato advances at full speed, ramming any ship that gets in its way, firing every cannon, AA gun, missile and torpedo it has. As the ship advances deeper and almost reaches the top pyramid, it turns around and begins to head back but then turns around again attacks the fleet. The Yamato attacks the fleet 6 more times and uses the ship's ARGO system to use the debris as a shield. Once the fleet has been whittled down enough the Yamato stops and fires the main gun. The ponies are blinded by the light and afterward, they see that the blast has blown a large hole into the hull of the station. The Yamato then rushes into the hole. Now at full alert, the few remaining ships of the defense fleet follow the Yamato into the station but cannon fire, missiles, and torpedos fired by the Yamato create a large wall of destruction for the fleet to pass through. As the Yamato races through the station, blasting through many areas as they head to the center. They pass through large areas of population centers and cities but not once does the Yamato even spot a surface cannon or even missile launcher. It was painfully obvious that the Balyuut military never even thought that an enemy ship would one day be traversing through the command vessel. They soon reach the center and the capital city. The defense fleet has been whittled down to a few dozen ships. Disgraced the king gives an ultimatum to leave now or they would all die. Ignoring the ultimatum the Yamato prepares to launch fighters and battlesuit marines. However a part of the station opens, and a giant ship raises up. The ship is shaped like a long trapezoid with a large, exposed rectangle bridge at the stern that extends over the ship's sides. The edges of the ship are lined with hundreds if not thousands of 3-gun turrets while on the center house vertical missile silos and AA guns. The ship is so large it dwarfs the Yamato and is visibly larger than any ship encountered previously. The turrets rotate and open fire on the Yamato with the Yamato taking evasive maneuvers at full speed. With the Yamato at full speed, it can no longer launch the fighters but still opens fire with every gun turret, missile, and torpedo the Yamato has. The blasts and explosions rock the giant ship but its shields hold steady. The Yamato begins to take fire too but its shields begin to falter under the barrage of beam and missile strikes from the giant ship.

"This ship was the Balyuut's command and control ship. Everything went through it. From graduations to secret intel. We didn't want to harm the station as it most likely kept most, if not all, of the Federations population within it. However, as we fought, we couldn't penetrate the ship's shields. No matter what we did, we couldn't get through. We were reaching the point that we thought we would have to use the Wave-Motion gun against the ship. Luckily, we didn't have to. We discovered that the shield doesn't cover the entire ship, but, it focused lots of energy at the points of impact. With this knowledge and the defense fleet finally catching up, we set our plan in motion." Kodai says.

The remains of the Balyuut defense fleet arrive, only a dozen battleships, and begin to fire on the Yamato but the Yamato launches ARGO canisters. The magnetic spikes latch onto the ships while the Yamato maneuvers behind them and fires artillery shells into their thrusters. The explosions rock the ships and disable them. Using the ARGO system the Yamato launches the ships at the command ship. The command ship opens fire to take the ships out but the shields deflect the shots. The battleships ram into the command ship and lose their shields immediately. The command ship's shields stop some of the battleships but most of them break through the weakened shield and ram the command ship. With the shield now broken, the Yamato unleashes a devastating full broadside of beam fire and artillery shells, missile and torpedo barrage. The Balyuut command ship is rocked and soon fires erupt all across the hull. The king gives a snarl as the fire engulfs the bridge and incinerates the crew. Finally, the entire ship explodes in a violent fireball and the resulting shockwaves cause the Yamato to shake and are even blown back a bit. The pieces of the command ship fall on the buildings below.

"With the command ship destroyed, we prepared to help the city when the king's contingency plan was enacted. If he were to die, then his empire follows him. We had no choice but to abandon the people. King Yumunabu was a monster while alive, and a monster in death." Kodai says angrily.

As the Yamato prepares rescue and relief efforts, the station begins to explode. Every ship, fighter, escape pod, starcraft, everything blows up. The reactor begins to go critical with the intent of creating a supernova. The Yamato immediately lights it's thrusters and flies off towards the hole it came from. Explosions rock the ship as they fly through the passages. The Yamato exits the station and hurries to achieve warp speed as the station collapses into a tiny ball and then it explodes with great fury. The energy flare created by the supernova chases after the Yamato and nearly catches it when the Yamato enters warp and escapes. The Yamato exits it warp at a safe distance from the supernova.

"The war was over. But now, there was no earth, no humans, no allies. We were all alone. Arguments ran back and forth on what to do. Finally, we settled on finding an inhabited world that was close to the earth's environment to hopefully populate, and if we couldn't populate the world, at least leave behind our legacy. Of course, the chances of the human repopulation plan succeeding was infinite as there were less than a thousand of us left. For months we explored the galaxy to find a new planet. Hope was dwindling and morale at an all-time low. However, we found it. A new planet in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy, with a near-identical atmosphere and environment to earth. This planet." Kodai says.

The hologram shows the Yamato as it traverses the galaxy, warping from system to system as they search for a new planet to call home. Finally, they reach Equidainia and the Yamato descends to the planet. The wings unfurl from the sides and begin to fly over the newly discovered planet. After assessing the planet, The Yamato heads north towards Mount Everhoof. Below them, earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns are fighting amongst each other, some looking up and catching a glimpse of the unknown object over them. The Yamato then arrives at the location that would become the border between Yakyakistan and the Crystal Empire and stops.

"We found the planet is almost identical to earth. This planet had plants and foods that are identical to the plants and food of the earth. More incredibly the current dominating race is equine races, mostly ponies. Even more fascinating, there were two subspecies of ponies: the winged pegasus and the horned unicorn. It was incredible and we all decided to make this planet our new home. Thus we had to establish a base first. One that was hidden and impossible to find without advanced technology. We headed north to the great mountain range. We knew the snow, cold, blizzards and the depth would keep us hidden. Thus work started as we set up our base." Kodai says.

The Yamato hovers over the section of the mountain that the ponies are on now. It fires the ventral missiles into the ground to melt the snow and ice and make craters. Soon machines begin to dig out the ground and build the lake and build the underwater facility the ponies are in. A tunnel is excavated and the elevator is installed. After a few weeks, the large lake is dug out and the facility is finished. The hangar has a split ceiling that lays open for the Yamato. The Yamato descends slowly and lines up with the drydock clamps. The Yamato lands and the clamps lock onto the ship. The ceiling hatches close and seals the Yamato inside. The facility is then buried in snow when demolition teams cause an avalanche. The snow and ice cover the facility and soon the temperature of the facility causes the ice and snow to melt, turning the hole into a frozen lake.

"With the facility built, we began to spy on the populace with small drones. The drones would also return with native fauna that we would experiment on. We found out so much about the ponies that inhabited the planet. We discovered more creatures inhabited the planet than just the ponies. Yaks, dragons, griffons, buffalos, minotaurs, and so much more. But, with this many inhabitants, repopulating our species and coexisting with the original inhabitants would be difficult work. For years we watched over the inhabitants, hoping, praying, that one day, we could reveal ourselves and try to coexist with them. But then, disaster struck. A pandemic took us by surprise. A virus from one of the plants infected most of the junior members and a few senior officers. High fever, vomiting, malnutrition, and blue pox were just a few of the symptoms. The infected were debilitated for weeks. All of them were quarantined. And with most of the quarantined people the young juniors, we seniors and older members couldn't take over many of their duties. Soon, many machines began to falter. We tried our best to find a cure, antibodies, anything to stop the pandemic but soon, the infected began to die off. It was the end for all of us and we all knew it. We made preparations to preserve the Yamato. Which brings us to our present. There are only a few of us left. As soon as this message ends, all power will shut off to the facility. The cold should preserve the facility, the Yamato, and everything inside the Yamato. Well, if your seeing this message, then it should be obvious that our plan worked." Kodai says and chuckles a little. The ponies also give a slight chuckle but then Kodai turns a bit sad. It was obvious that he doesn't want to stop.
"We did everything we could. We did our best to preserve our history. Our technology. The Yamato. Our legacy. If you're seeing this message, we succeeded in preserving all 4. Within the ship's data banks, lie our history and technological achievements. However, we did remove the Wave-Motion Core and hid it. Without the core, the Yamato won't be able to do much with its limited internal power and it is unable to warp without the core. We hid it in a place where only the worthy can get to." Kodai says.
