Nightmare Moon saw Celestia with the elements of Harmony swirling around her. Nightmare Moon has prepared her magic and Celestia has too. But what Nightmare Moon didn’t see was that her sister was crying. Nightmare Moon has casted her magic and Celestia has as well. The two spells were fighting to gain control. As much as Nightmare Moon was striving to win, the magic of the Elements of Harmony was gaining control. Nightmare Moon opened her eyes and got scared. The magic grabbed her as she screamed, “Noooooooooo !!”
The magic went to the moon, when it got there, there was a possible explosion, when it ended, on the moon was a silhouette of a mare on the moon.
On the moon, Nightmare Moon was lying on the moon floor with her eyes closed. When she opened her eyes, Nightmare Moon saw that the sky was black, but her fur was still visible, she didn’t camouflage herself. Nightmare Moon got nervous. She couldn’t be where she thought she was. Her eyes could only be playing with her. She sat on her hips and saw the earth. Nightmare Moon felt tears in her eyes. She couldn’t believe that her sister really did it. Now, Celestia was not only going to be her ‘sister’s day’ would be worshiped, the night would be worshiped as well, but who would be receiving the compliments would be Celestia, not Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon began to cry with sadness. Why? Why did this have to happen? All she wanted was for her night to be enjoyed. Why didn’t her subjects appreciate what she did to them? Would she stay on the moon forever? If so, she felt like crying forever and having somepony to stay with her. But what would it do? No pony will go to the moon and who would want to keep company for a monster like her?
Nightmare Moon lay down while crying, “Why, Tia? Why did you do that? I just wanted my subjects to enjoy my night. Why do you have to be so selfish?” she knew she shouldn’t just be crying, but her sadness was greater than any other feeling.
Suddenly Nightmare Moon heard hoofsteps approaching her. She looked in the direction of the hoofsteps, her tears stopping; but some still on her cheeks, and saw a tall black unicorn with a purple mane that had a white streak in it through the middle; the unicorn wore a crown with a light blue diamond and a diamond necklace around her neck. She had eyes matching Nightmare Moon’s. The unicorn looked concerned as she reached the princess of the night.
“Are you alright, darling?” the unicorn asked.
Nightmare Moon was surprised that she had a pony on the moon with her. Did her wishes for company come true? Whatever the reason, she needed to know why this unicorn was on the moon, “why are you on the moon?”
“I wonder too, dear. Why are you here?” said the unicorn, still concerned.
Nightmare Moon felt like crying, she looked at the floor. As she felt more tears in her eyes, “you wouldn’t understand…”
The unicorn approached Nightmare Moon. Nightmare didn’t realize it from Still looking at the floor. The unicorn was now very close to Nightmare Moon. The unicorn realized that he didn’t say his name, “I’m sorry, darling. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Nightmare Rarity”
Nightmare Moon looked at Nightmare Rarity now surprised. Was there another pony that also had the initial name “Nightmare”? The queen of the night”

Nightmare Moon seemed unsure of this, “you wouldn’t understand ...” she had her head down sadly.
Nightmare Rarity lifted Nightmare Moon’s chin and made Nightmare Moon look at her, “darling, I may not know why you’re here, but that doesn’t mean I won’t try to understand and understand why you’re here”
Nightmare Moon still wasn’t sure if she should tell the reason, “I don’t know…”

She and Celestia faced several enemies. But she began to realize that her subjects enjoyed her sister’s day more than her night, and that made her jealous. She tried her best to make her evening enjoyable, but her efforts went to nothing. So, tired of being in the shadow of her sister, she turned into Nightmare Moon, hoping that if she destroyed Celestia, her subjects would love her and enjoy her night. But even that was no good, because Celestia used the Elements of Harmony on her, and now she was on the moon.
After she finished telling, Nightmare Moon began to cry, knowing that she would never be loved and her night would never be enjoyed by the ponies.
Nightmare Rarity felt sorry for Nightmare Moon. She never imagined that Nightmare Moon was actually a princess. Well, she must have suspected, because Nightmare Moon’s Cutie Mark was a moon, symbolizing the night, and Nightmare Moon had a horn and wings, “darling, I didn’t know you felt that way. I’m sorry”
Nightmare Moon looked at Nightmare Rarity, “It’s not your fault. You probably don’t know what it means when somepony is more loved than you”
“But I understand, darling”, said Nightmare Rarity with a smile.
Nightmare Moon was surprised, but still had tears on her cheeks, “what?”
“I understand you, dear”, repeated Nightmare Rarity.
“How do you understand me? You’re not the princess of the night”, said Nightmare Moon, now confused.
“Well, you’re right. I am not the princess of the night. But I understand you, because my friends have replaced me with a mare wearing a sweatshirt and braces”, replied Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon was glad somepony understood her. But there was something that made her doubt, “How did you get to the moon? Have you also been banished by the Elements of Harmony?”
“No. I was taken to the moon by creatures called Nightmare. They offered me to be their queen, although I doubt whether I should accept it in the beginning, I accepted it in the end”, replied Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon was surprised. A pony, a subject of hers, was taken to the moon. She wondered how this pony didn’t die from breathlessness. But she decided not to question that, “So you can get out of the moon anytime you want?” she wanted to know.
“Yes, Dear. But I prefer to stay on the moon. I don’t want to see those ponies for a long time. Why do you want to know?” wanted to know Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon stared at the floor, “It’s because, unlike you, I’m trapped on the moon”
Nightmare Rarity was confused, “What do you mean, trapped on the moon? Can’t you leave until such a year comes?”
Nightmare Moon looked at Nightmare Rarity, “I don’t know. I don’t know if I will be imprisoned forever or if I will be released this year. But one thing I know, I won’t be released anytime soon”
Nightmare Rarity hugged Nightmare Moon, “Don’t worry, darling. I’ll be with you all these years”
Nightmare Moon was surprised, “Why would you want to be with me? You are the queen of nightmares. Don’t you rule here on the moon?”
“Yes. But unlike the earth, there are neither ponies on the Moon but only two of us. So I don’t need to take any political role. The only thing I do is command the Nightmares to do what I say”, replied Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon didn’t know why, but knowing that made her happy, “So, are you staying with me here on the moon?”
“Sure, darling”, said that, Nightmare Rarity hugged her. Nightmare Moon was surprised, no pony ever hugged her, especially in that form. Most ponies that saw her would run away from her. But Nightmare Moon was happy with that said . She didn’t know when her moon ban would end, but she now planned to spend a lot of time with this unicorn.
It’s been a few years, and Nightmare Moon and Nightmare Rarity have become great friends. Much to Nightmare Moon’s happiness, Nightmare Rarity liked the night. Before she went to the moon, she used to like to draw stars in her sketchbook to put on her dresses. Nightmare Moon also discovered that before Nightmare Rarity came to the moon, the unicorn was a Ponyville fashion designer. Nightmare Moon didn’t know if she would ever return to Earth because she was trapped on the moon, but if she ever returns to Earth she wishes she could see the dresses Nightmare Rarity made when she was a simple unicorn, without having become a nightmare pony. Nightmare Moon was curious about something, “I would like to ask you something”
Nightmare Rarity looked at Nightmare Moon, “yes? What would you like to ask me? ”
Nightmare Moon’s ears were down. She was unsure of the question she was going to ask, “Do you promise not to be angry with me?”
Nightmare Rarity smiled, “yes. I promise”
Nightmare Moon seemed quieter, “ok”
“What’s the question?” wanted to know Nightmare Rarity with a smile.
“What’s your real name?” asked Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare Rarity seemed unsure about this, “Do you promise not to speak my real name in public?”
“Yes, Nightmare Rarity. We are on the moon. There is no one on the moon but us”, replied Nightmare Moon.
“There are actually beings besides us”, confessed Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon was surprised, “really? Who?”
“The Nightmares forces. They live here on the moon, ”replied Nightmare Rarity. “Do you promise to not speak my real name in front of them?”
Nightmare Moon has never heard of them, although she feels she has seen them. But as a friend, she would promise, “I promise”
Nightmare Rarity looked uncertain Still, “ok. But remembering, you can say my name when we have only the two of us, but not when we have it in public. Do you promise?” Nightmare Rarity knew that Nightmare Moon had already promised, but she wanted to make sure that Nightmare Moon would keep her word.
“I promise”, promised Nightmare Moon, for the second time.
Nightmare Rarity looked safer and smiled, “ok. I will talk. My real name is… ”
Nightmare Moon was anxious now.
“... Rarity”, finished Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon smiled, “It’s a beautiful name”
Nightmare Rarity smiled, “really, darling?”
“Yes… Rarity. It’s a very beautiful name”, replied Nightmare Moon with a seductive smile. Nightmare Rarity blushed at the compliment he received.
“What’s your real name?” asked Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon seemed unsure, “Why do you want to know?”
“Curiosity. If I said my real name, I think it’s only fair that you speak yours too”, replied Nightmare Rarity.
“OK. I talk, ”said Nightmare Moon, now with her eyes closed. “My real name is Luna”
Nightmare Rarity made a small O with her mouth before smiling, “darling…”
“I know, it’s a very weak name for somepony like me”, agreed Nightmare Moon.
“... It’s a beautiful name”, said Nightmare Rarity with a smile.
Nightmare Moon opened her eyes in surprise, “what?”
“That’s a beautiful name, darling”, repeated Nightmare Rarity.
“Why do you think that? That old name of mine reminds me of my past self. She was weak, I’m so much better than her”, wanted to know Nightmare Moon.
“Well, darling. I don’t know how you were in the past and how you did, although you already told me your story. But I respect if you think that way”, said Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon is now curious, “what about you?”
Nightmare Rarity raised an eyebrow, “I what?”
“What was your story like before the Nightmares caught you”, repleid Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare Rarity looked uncertain, “I don’t know…”
“Come on, Rarity. I already told you mine”, encouraged Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare Rarity looked uncertain but decided to say, “ok”
Nightmare Rarity began to tell about her family. She had a father and a mother, and also a sister named Sweetie Belle. When she was a foal, she dreamed of being a stylist. She at home tried to sew but failed. Suddenly, her horn flashed blue. She didn’t know where her horn was leading, but when it arrived, she realized that her magic led up to a rock. Rarity was annoyed that her horn led her to a rock. But an explosion occurred and the stone broke, revealing that it had jewels inside the stone. She was happy about that and wore the jewelry in the dresses. After a few years, she befriended four mares, their names were Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. She and her friends were best friends. They always spent time together. She always talked about how she felt to her friends. But one day, the friends started not wanting to speed time with Rarity anymore. And on That same day, a land mare who had braces and a sweatshirt came to Ponyville to live there. All of her friends enjoyed spending time with that mare. Rarity couldn’t believe it. When she tried to talk to her friends, her friends denied her and abandoned her. Rarity went back to Boutique Carrousel, and went to bed to cry. When night came, a black shadow came out of the moon and went to where Rarity lived, and how she was crying, Rarity didn’t notice. She heard a voice calling her, but she didn’t hear it because she was crying. The thing screamed and Rarity stopped crying and looked scared. It explained everything Rarity felt and explained how it could help her. Although Rarity seems uncertain, the thing called Shadowfright said that with her, he could help her in this situation. Rarity, believing, accepted the offer, and now she and Nightmare were one.
Nightmare Moon was surprised. Rarity’s story was almost the same as hers. Only the difference was that Rarity had friends for a while, but she was soon abandoned and replaced. Unlike Luna, who never got friends, but was left in the shadow by her sister. Nightmare Rarity felt sad that her friends had replaced and abandoned her. Nightmare Moon hugged Nightmare Rarity with a wing. Nightmare Rarity smiled.
It was already the thousandth year, Nightmare Moon and Nightmare Rarity were now looking into space. They were sitting staring into space. Nightmare Moon felt Nightmare Rarity put her head on her neck. She didn’t know why, but it made her blush.
“The space is beautiful, isn’t it?” asked Nightmare Rarity with a smile.
“Y-yes. It’s beautiful”, replied Nightmare Moon as she stammered. Her cheeks were still red.
“Tell me. How long has it been?” asked Nightmare Rarity.
“I think a thousand years”, said Nightmare Moon, no longer blushing.
“Wow. Looks like we spent a lot of time together”, said that, Nightmare Rarity kissed Nightmare Moon on the cheek.
Nightmare Moon flushed again. Why was Nightmare Rarity doing this to her? Was the unicorn doing this on purpose? She needed to know.
“Why?”
Nightmare Rarity looked at Nightmare Moon confusedly, “Why what?”
“Why are you being so… affectionate to me?” wanted to know Nightmare Moon.
“Because I think you’re beautiful, darling”, replied Nightmare Rarity with a smile.
Nightmare Moon blushed. No one has ever called her beautiful before, “Do you think I’m beautiful?”
“Yes, darling”, replied Nightmare Rarity, still smiling.
Nightmare Moon was speechless. She didn’t know what to say. She knew that was a good thing. But was Nightmare Rarity all right?
“Are you ok?” wanted to know Nightmare Moon.
“Yes. Why?” replied Nightmare Rarity, now confused.
“It’s just that you’ve been acting weird for years since we met. Are you sure that’s okay?” said Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare Rarity didn’t know until when her efforts to get Nightmare Moon to notice her, “darling, I’m fine”
“So why are you always giving me kisses on the cheeks, hugging me and especially why are you always by my side?” asked Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare Rarity blew out a breath. She’d tried everything to make Nightmare Moon realize she liked her. But it looked like it wasn’t working. Who knows if she confesses, would it work?
“Darling, I have something to confess”, began Nightmare Rarity.
“Really? What is it?” wanted to know Nightmare Moon.
“I love you, Luna. But than as a friend. Luna, will you date me? ”Said Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon was surprised. She didn’t expect that. So the reason Rarity was like this was because she loved her?
“You feel the same as me, don’t you?” asked Nightmare Rarity.
Nightmare Moon didn’t know what to say, “look. I appreciate that you like me. But, I don’t feel the same as you”
Nightmare Rarity was sad about it. Were your efforts for nothing?
“But I liked everything you did. You made me feel loved”, said Nightmare Moon, so that her friend wouldn’t feel sad.
Nightmare Rarity was staring at the now sad floor. Suddenly, some stars went to Nightmare Moon and Nightmare Rarity. They looked back. The stars grabbed Nightmare Moon, “what’s going on?” asked Nightmare Moon, now scared.
“I dont know. Why are the stars taking you away?” said Nightmare Rarity, now desperate.
Nightmare Moon began to think. She had been stuck on the moon with Nightmare Rarity for years. Would she be released from her prison?
“Rarity, I think I’m being released from my prison”, replied Nightmare Moon.
“What?” asked Nightmare Rarity, now sad.
“I think I’m being released from my prison, Rarity”, Nightmare Moon repeated the question.
“I already know that. But what will you do when you return air the earth?” wanted to know Nightmare Rarity.
“I plan to bring eternal night”, replied Nightmare Moon.
“Can I help you please?” asked Nightmare Rarity.
“Usually I prefer to work alone. But since you kept me company during my ban, I allow it. Can you get out of the moon?” asked Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare Rarity had an idea, “I have an idea, but I’ll need to use the other Nightmares”, she teleported to her castle and approached the Nightmares.
“Nightmares!”
The Nightmare looked at their queen, “yes, our queen?”
“I will need your help. Because I will go to earth”, replied Nightmare Rarity.
They looked insecure. Who spoke first was Shadowfright, “but my queen, we need you”
Nightmare Rarity went to Sandowfright, “I understand, Shadowfright. But Nightmare Moon will be released today from the moon, and I would like to help her”
Shadowfright looked uncertain, “I don’t know, my queen. Do you promise to come back to us?”
“Look, I don’t know. But I promise to visit you,” replied Nightmare Rarity. “Could you help me?”
Shadowfright looked uncertain, “Come on. I always helped you, guys. It’s time for you to help me”, said Nightmare Rarity with a smile.
“Ok, my queen. We’ll take you to earth”, Shadowfright made his decision.
