Fluttershy lays on her couch, enjoying her free day. She felt a tug at her long, pink tail, looked down, and saw Angel tugging on the strands and pointing at the door.
"Is somepony at the door?" she guessed.
Angel nodded his head and hopped away. Fluttershy stepped off the couch, heading towards the door. When she opened it, Cadance and Shining Armor were standing at the door, holding Flurry Heart. The couple looked unkempt. Fluttershy, surprised at the visitors, blinked a few times to see if she was imagining it, but they were still there.
"C-can I help you?" she said quietly, looking at Flurry Heart.
Cadance and Shining armor looked at each other, as if mentally agreeing on something. "Actually, yes," Shining armor replied, "Can you fillysit Flurry for us? Twily's busy, and we don't want to disturb her."
"Sure, I guess I'm free for a little bit, and fillysitting couldn't be that bad," she said, nodding, "I can handle it." She smiled confidently.
She couldn't.
Flurry Heart thought all her forest friends were stuffed animals, and kept trying to play with them.
Flurry heart's horn started to glow again. oh no, what this time! Fluttershy thought, flying towards her. A white creature surrounded by Flurry's aura was being dragged out from behind the corner.
"Angel!" Fluttershy yelped. What do I do? I can't just yell at Flurry! She's too cute! She thought as she rounded the corner, panic dripping as sweat from her forehead. I know!
Fluttershy turned back around, and used the square shape of her house to her advantage. If her plan worked, she could corner Flurry heart upstairs. She flew through the hallways, her cyan eyes narrowed as dust tried to gather in them, her light rose mane flying in the wind. She rounded a corner, seeing a small pink filly flying up the stairs. Gotcha. She flew up the stairs and landed. Flurry Heart turned around to look at her, and she executed The Stare.
Flurry Heart looked at her for a moment, and vanished with a flash of yellow light.
Fluttershy yelped. "Where did she go! Oh Celestia, Cadence is going to kill me, if this filly doesn't first!" And collapsed, exhausted.
Angel hopped quickly through the halls, his heart pounding. This tiny pony was dangerous! He rounded a corner, and saw her trotting towards him. He ran up the stairs and saw Fluttershy passed out. Now who's going to control that filly! he thought, panicking. He hopped down the stairs before the filly could corner him in there. He saw her coming again and ran to the nearest door, slamming it as hard as his tiny bunny arms could behind him. Free, at last! But she was so small and cute... Stop it, me! She tried to maim me! he squeaked angrily at himself. But really, who was going to take care of her? If he didn't do something, Fluttershy might get in trouble for not being able to take care of the filly. He groaned. Fine. You convinced me. He bounced back into the humble hut.
Immediately, a playful filly ran at him.
She began to drag him through the air with her magic. This is kind of fun, He admitted to himself. Right before he hit a wall.
When Angel woke up, the young alicorn was using her magic to make him ride a plush snail's shell. He groaned. His head still hurt from the impact. He saw a bird fly by and motioned it over.
"Hey! Psst! Can you get me away from this kid?" Angel squeaked to the bird.
"Sorry, man. She's a princess! I can't mess with a princess!" The bird chirped, flying away.
Angel groaned, for possibly the millionth time today. If only she could understand that he was alive too. Suddenly, he fell. Thankfully, the snail plushie cushioned his fall. He looked up to see what had stopped the filly. It was a real snail. It looked similar to the plushie, now that he thought about it. It was yellow with a green shell. It looked so small and innocent, crawling across the floor. Flurry heart was mesmerized. Maybe she'll finally learn that other things besides fillies are alive, he thought, pleasantly. Just maybe.
Flurry heart picked up the snail with her magic, and picked Angel up too. She compared them side by side, and then her smile brightened. She set the snail down. Wow, she was gentle with it, for once. He thought. She also set him down.
He stood still, afraid of what she'd do if he moved. She gently prodded him, probably expecting him to play with her or something. He shrugged. Why not? He hopped up to her, made a silly face, and ran away, looking behind him to see if she followed him. She had. they had a wonderful game of tag. Angel was actually enjoying something for once! This feeling was amazing!
Angel ran through the hallways, ducking and dodging obstacles. He looked behind him to see if she was there, but she wasn't. He retraced his steps and saw her at the top of the stairs. When he bounced up the stairs, he saw Flurry heart was looking at Fluttershy. She's still out? That's unusual. He poked her, squeaking in distress. Why wouldn't she wake up? He sagged his shoulder. Would he never eat carrot pudding again?
"Gotcha!" Fluttershy neighed, grabbing both Flurry Heart and Angel in a big hug.
"You scared me!" Angel squeaks. Of course, Fluttershy didn't know rabbit language, and didn't understand him.
Flurry Heart sudenly flies downstsir and flies a couple rounds around the house before stopping at the door with all of the toys she brought with her.
Fluttershy trotted down the stairs as well, Angel close behind. When they got to the bottom, the front door was open, and Flurry Heart was hugging Cadence and Shining Armor.
"Oh! I'm so glad you're here!" Fluttershy said, "Flurry was an angel!"
Angel slightly dissagreed.
"No, thank you for giving us a break from her!" Shining Armor laughed.
"I'm glad you had fun with Flurry Heart," Cadence said, sincerely.
"How couldn't I? She's so cute!" Fluttershy shrilled.
A few minutes later, after the couple and Flurry Heart left, Fluttershy leaned over to Angel.
"Thank you!" Fluttershy whispered in Angel's ear. He smiled smugly.
