Princess Celestia has found a disturbing prophecy in the ruins of a lost room, put 3000 years ago
Princess Celestia has found a 3 000 year old prophecy. Her alicorn brother threatens to take over and rule the planet the royal sisters ruled for 10 000 years. Twilight has to make sense of the prophecy with the help of her friends. Delve deep in the past, To foresee the inevitable future.

“Spike you lazy dragon, time to get up!” Spikes light green eyes popped open. He sat up and stretched his purple scales, he let out a big yawn. It was Spike's birthday today. “How old was I again?” Spike sat there for a while thinking about how old he was. “10! Now I remember my age. 990 some years to go,” Spike sighed for awhile. Until he realized it had been 4 minutes. “Coming Twilight!” yelled Spike as he went downstairs giggling uncontrollably at how he was going to get presents and cake, and hang out with the pony gang, and presents. “Wait can't think about that, I don't want it to end up like last year, I don't want to destroy half of Ponyville again.” He shook his head, trying to get the thought out of his head. He glanced out the window. It was a beautiful morning in Ponyville. Their were some clouds in the sky, birds sang their morning song. A squirrel clambered up the tree, mouth full of acorns. The sky was a beautiful sight to see. The horizon was touched with a soft pink, and as you got higher, it gently transformed into a turquoise, then into a blue hue which blanketed the light green hills. “Spike, how long does it take to get out of bed!” Spike shook his head. He skipped into the kitchen. He took a seat at the dinner table. He then looked at Twilight and grinned at the lavender unicorn, with the colours of the very early night. “Hello there birthday boy, would you care for some breakfast?” Twilight asked. Spike nodded. “Ok Spike, I made you your favourite, turquoise cereal, with a nice big diamond on the side. Enjoy number one assistant.” --- Yesterday in Canterlot
The ground began to shake under Princess Celestia's hooves. All the castle staff started to panic, and started running around the white alicorn princess. Flower pots were crumbling, spilling their flowery contents all over the freshly cleaned floor. The golden chandeliers broke off their chain letting gravity take hold of them, smashing them to the ground almost hitting Princess Celestia. The Guards were running toward the princess, the ground's shaking escalated, ponies were tripping over their own hooves and the pegasus maids were dodging debris-bullets. “Princess Celestia!, go outside! Its for your own safety!” A unicorn guard managed to get to the princess and say something before a piece of ceiling knocked him unconscious. “Get outside, “ the princess thought, “Except I can't leave my subjects to die or get injured. Wait, I have an idea.” Her horn started to glow a golden hue, she started to think of her staff inside the castle. ZAP! All the staff-ponies in the building got their own personal golden magic shield, they all seemed relieved to be protected. So they trotted off to the nearest door. Then the princess started for the ballroom, she dodged bits and pieces of the ceiling, and the odd chandelier. She arrived in time to see the left wall crumble to the ground leaving a giant cloud of brown, and white dust. The noise was almost deafening. Glass shattering, bits and pieces of the wall smacking into the ground to be followed by the one big piece of wall. When everything settled there, where the wall was, a staircase. Princess Celestia trotted up to it, it looked like it had not been used in thousand of years. The stone was dark and glistened with moisture, moss was clinging to the steps. Celestia started to walk down it. The way the steps where made. She estimated the age was pre-Nightmare Moon, but after the founding of the country Equestria, the harmony of the tribes, and after Discord. Roughly the year 1000 BCE (Before common era.) So about 3000 years ago. When she reached the end of the stairs she couldn't beleive her eyes, A wall, covered in hieroglyphics, the written language at the time. Before the modern hieroglyphics and written words. Princess Celestia could understand this text. The first sentence translated to: The World began with the Sun, the Moon came after. When the Sun and Moon set, Magic will rule Equestria. “I will have to tell Twilight tomorrow,” the princess thought. --- “Happy Birthday Spike” yelled Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Twilight in unison. “Thank you guys for such an awesome birthday party,” said Spike as he blew the 10 candles on his cake. The cake was a 3 tier cake with chocolate icing. There was caramel driping down from the top, It looked delicious. The cakes have done it again with this amazing cake. Spike started tunnelling through it like it was a mine. It was so big he even started to make himself a little room inside. Everyone laughed as Spike started making furniture out of the icing. “Spike, we need to eat that you now,” explained Rainbow Dash. Spike eventually wiggled out, cake in between his scales, and icing stuck on his claw. “That was the best cake I have ever tasted.” Everyone started dancing and playing games, at around 8:00 pm, everypony left to their respected homes. When all of them left Spike started to go upstairs when, BURP! A letter shot out of is mouth followed by a stream of purple and green fire. Spike caught it and started reading it out to Twilight.
Dear my faithful student, Twilight Sparkle, An earthquake hit Canterlot yesterday, luckily no one was hurt so far. The earthquake did reveal a 3000 year old ruin, containing a prophecy. It translated to this:
The World began with the Sun, the Moon came after. When the Sun and Moon set, Magic will rule Equestria.

Princess Celestia.
"There's only one thing to do Spike," Twilight said. "Take a nap?" Spike let out with a yawn. "No, me and my friends have to go to Canterlot."
“I am glad you could come,” said Princess Celestia. The multicoloured maned princess walked up to Twilight and her friends. “I have to show you the ruin that was uncovered during Tuesdays earthquake.” The palace was unrecognizable due to all the debris carpeting the floor and the bits and pieces of the ceiling missing. All the glass was shattered. “This is fascinating,” Twilight exclaimed as she walked down the ruin stairs. The torch light left an eerie orange glow throughout the 3000 year old room. Twilight looked over the entire rocky wall. There at the bottom right of the wall was an alicorn carving. “Who is that?” Twilight asked. The princess looked closely at the name at the bottom of the picture. Then her eyes doubled at the name. “Th-Thats m-my brother!”
“So your sayin' you have a brother?” Applejack asked. Everypony was silent, the only sound was of water dropping to the floor. “I-Its time I told my sister that we have a brother, I just never had it in me to tell her” A tear slid down Celestia's cheek. She then walked up the stairs. Everypony still trying to digest the fact the princesses had a brother. “So, why did she not tell her sister that they had a brother,” Twilight thought. “Well I don't know Twilight, geez!” said Pinkie. “Wait, Pinkie, How do you know what I'm thinking?” asked Twilight. “I have the entire story in my mind silly filly,” bellowed Pinkie, “HEY! I didn't bellow.”
“L-Luna?” Princess Celestia asked. The dark blue alicorn with hair replicating the night sky, turned around to see her big sister with a sorrowful expression. “What is wrong sister?” questioned Luna. “Th-There's something I have to tell you.”
10 000 years ago
“It is time to create the universe love.” “I agree.” The two alicorn's horns started to glow with a magic hue not yet discovered. First the nothingness was filled with vacuum. Then all the stars burst into existence. The alicorns formed the 4 forces, Gravity, Magic, Friendship, and Love. The gravity started to create galaxies, solar systems, and planets. “These planets are boring Day,” said the mysterious male alicorn. “Yes Night, they need something,” responded Day. They looked at each other, “Life” they said in unison. “But they need somepony to manage life,” said Day. Then Night's horn burst into light, he then focused it and POOF! A little foal alicorn. “Awwww, he's so cute.” What should we name him?” asked Day. “Galaxis,” answered Night. “Perfect.” They then set off at 1000 times the speed of light and found a planet that already had the building blocks for life they then formed a cave and set him in it. Night then put a message into his sons head. “This planet is for life. This planet is your destiny.” The two then gave him a kiss on the forehead and abandoned him there on the cold planet.
Well with that, we should send another to manage a world. Day, this time, formed a filly. She had white fur and a pink mane. “Celestia,” said Day. “Can we keep her night? I really want to at least raise one of our offspring.” “Very well,” Night answered with a slight huff in his voice, they then set of to a planet that can harbour life. They then formed a cave, then settled in it.
“Mommy, look look!” yelled Celestia. She had just created the first large lifeform, the frog. “It's lovely dear.” answered Day as she looked at her young daughter and smiled. “Mommy, when can Luna come and play?” Celestia whined. “She is still a little baby.” Day told. “Awwwwwwwww,” Celestia whined again. She then resumed watching her new creation. “Celestia, we have something to tell you.” Night said. Celestia then hopped over to her parents. “Why, am I in trouble?” “No, its just, I think its time to tell you. You have a brother,” Night said, scraping his hoof on the cave floor. “Luna isn't a boy Daddy,” Celestia giggled. Her parent just gave her the “No, its true” face. Celestia then tilted her head and asked, “Is he on another planet?” Day nodded and said, “Yes.” And so after her parents left to become nebula to watch over the universe, but to let it take its own course. For the next 10 000 years Celestia took care of Luna, and then taught her to raise the moon. Never once telling her sister they had a brother. Just to keep her from getting distracted.
Present day
“I-I have a big brother?” asked Luna. “Yes,” choked Celestia. The Sun goddess started to cry, “I am so sorry little sister!” Luna then went from shocked to supportive of her bigger sister. “It's okay Tia. I forgive you, after all I do get distracted easily,” joked Luna. Celestia looked up from the floor, her tear covered face, wet from crying, to see her sister smiling, Celestia sniffled one last time and got up. Luna caught Celestia off guard and gave her big sister a big bear hug. “Well, time to decode this prophecy we found,” said Celestia, throat still sore from crying. “I'll come to sister,” exclaimed Luna.
What do you think it means Princess?” questioned Twilight. The princess stood there, trying to make sense of the prophecy. “Sun, I am guessing that's me, The moon must be Luna, but what is magic, I think it might be you Twilight, no wait, It is definitely my brother, my parents said he had a strong magical aura. So, my brother is going to rule Equestria, but, why?” Princess Celestia looked around the room to the elements and her sister. “I guess we need to sleep on it. Anyway, I am going to raise the moon, Good night everypony,” Luna yelled as she left the ancient room. Leaving the rest puzzling of what the Prophecy means, before retreating to their guest suites. "What does it mean for equestria, Will it be the end, or a beggining?" Twilight thought before drifting into the dream world.
Spike woke up, and took nice long yawn. That was the quietest, most complete sleep he has ever had. Ever since Twilight left, Spike has been keeping the library tidy. Sweep the wood floor. Be a librarian when ever somepony wants a book. Organize the books. Dust the shelves, and even prune the tree. He got up from his bed to start his chores. He went to the kitchen to grab some breakfast. He grabbed some pony-O's and some milk, he put a bowl and a spoon on the table, poured the oat-based cereal into the bowl. He munched on the sugary sweet cereal until he was done. He did the chores, than went out to do some errands. First he went to the market to get what was on his shopping list.
Spike went to Applejack's apple stand, which was being managed by Granny Smith due to Applejack's absence. “Don't touch those apples again ya'hear!” yelled Granny Smith as a pony with shocked eyes slowly walked away. Spike came up to the apple stand and asked Granny Smith for some apples, “Um, Granny Smith, can I have 5 apples?” Granny Smith looked down at the dragon. “Flies? Where?” Granny Smith asked as she started grabbing as many apples as possible, keeping them safe from the non-exsistant flies. “No, 5 app-les please,” Spike pronouncing each syllable. “Well why didn't you say so?” asked the light green grandpony. She then gave Spike the 5 apples and waved goodbye. Spike returned the favour and set of on his journey. “Next, 10 cherries.,” thought Spike. He walked up to the cherry stand. The gruff looking sales-pony looked down on the little purple dragon and asked in a low voice, “What?!” Spike took a deep breath. “H-Hello sir, um, can I have 10 cherries?” The sales-pony looked him in the eye and said, “2 bits per cherry.” The cherry pony then smirked. “I'll offer you 5 bits for all 10,” said Spike, looking the pony in the eye. The cherry pony then glared in Spike's eyes, the look colder than ice. “6,” growled the sales-pony. Spike then jumped on the ground from the counter he perched on and gave a big smile. “Okie dokie loki,” as Pinkie would say. The dragon placed the coins on the counter, grabbed the little basket of cherries and headed get the rest of the groceries.
“What have you done Galaxis?”
“Oh , and who are you?”
“I am your sister, Celestia, now let go of Twilight.”
“Oh, I never knew I had a sister. Mother and Father must have hated me. Besides, why would I let go of lil' miss Twilight here? She is just so adorable.”
“She will defeat you before you defeat us and rule Equestria.”
“Well, I guess you would mind if I do this!”
CRACK!
“NO! Twilight!”
“TWILIGHT!!!!!!”
Princess Celestia woke up almost jumping out of her bed. Her mane had lost its windiness and shine. It looked like a nest that was trampled by a rambunctious puppy. Her cheeks were burning due to the tears streaming down her cheeks. The princess remembered clearly the crack as her brother snapped Twilight's neck and the limp lifeless body of her student falling to the ground with a thump. Her eyes started leaking more tears of the thought. She looked at her clock, it read: 5:00. “Time to raise the sun,” she said sniffling every 2 words. She walked onto the main castle balcony, looking over most of Equestria. She then lit her horn and started flying up. She clamped hold of the gaseous ball and yanked it upwards. The world began to lighten up, the sky turned from very dark blue to orange, yellow, and red. Right when she was almost done she saw the image of Twilight's limp body falling from her brother's hooves. She then realized she fell and the sun stopped where it was, not moving an inch. “Sister, what might be the matter?” Princess Celestia was curled up sobbing. The white sun goddess looked up at her sister, tears still streaming down her eyes. “I-I-it s, a dream I had. Twilight she, she-” the princess then started wailing. “Shhhhh, its okay sister. Go have some more rest. I will raise the sun,” said Luna putting a reassuring hoof on her sisters shoulder. Celestia just nodded and slowly walked to her room without her usual authoritative position. “Get better soon dear sister,” Luna thought.
Twilight woke up in the suite given by the princess. Twilight had an amazing sleep. She didn't have many dreams last night. The lavender unicorn got out of her bed, had a shower, brushed her hair and got ready to seize the day. “First I should write to Spike, Tell him we are ok,” Twilight mumbled
Dear my number 1 assistant, Spike,
I am writing to you because Princess Celestia has stumbled upon a ancient prophecy.
Currently me and my friends are trying to uncover this prophecy. If you would like to Spike, we could use you to help us find this prophecy.

She folded the letter, put it in an envelope. Twilight sealed it, and put a stamp with the Equestrian emblem printed on it and walked outside to head to the post office. When she got out of the door, a pink blur flashed before her eyes before- OOF!. “Pinkie, whats wrong?” The unicorn asked. The pink pony had a shocked expression plastered to her face. “Alien-Pony-Attacked-Scary portal!” Pinkie pie managed before grabbing Twilight with one hoof and quite literally, flew to the scene with Twilight in tow. Pinkie stopped in the castle gardens at a mob of ponies surrounding a limp pegasus. Twilight left Pinkie and shoved through the tangled mess of the crowd before she finally got through to have her face wiped of emotion. There, in front of her was an armoured pegasus. The pegasus had a huge gash from his neck to his flank. There were cuts and bruised all over his body. There were tufts of fur missing showing a light beige skin. He had a black eye, swollen from an obvious smack in the face. He also had a mysterious weapon. It was like a spear but had sparks flying out of a box near where the hooves would be. Twilight then teleported out, getting a few stares from the crowd. The unicorn saw Applejack walking away from the alien pony's audience. Twilight galloped up to her friend. “Applejack, did you see where this pony came from?” asked Twilight. Applejack just gulp and said, “Um, ah, um? It was a huge black portal, then that alien flew out of that there portal an' attacked 4 ponies. There was so much blood when the guards arrived Twi. One guard is in a coma, and the others a paralysed from the aliens lightning stick. Now if you excuse me, I am going to throw up my breakfast.” AJ then walked away into the palace. “Speaking vomiting,” Twilight thought, she ran after AJ into the castle to vomit after seeing a rotting corpse.
2 days later
The castle was finally cleaned. The tile floor shone, the brand new gold chandeliers dangled from its gold chain. The windows were replaced and cleaned to show the beautiful morning and the ceiling repaired to it's smooth self.. Except Princess Celestia wouldn't say the same for the rest of Canterlot. Everyone wanted her home to be fixed instead of the rest of the capital. No matter how many times she said to worry about Canterlot. Instead her sister, still used to when your subjects feared you and kissed the ground you trotted on and did whatever you asked or even suggested. Those days were gone, but sadly, its hard to get used to life after being trapped as on the moon for 1000 years. The Princess then resumed her journey to have breakfast with her sister and their guests the Elements.
“Welcome everypony,” said Princess Celestia as Princess Luna and the Elements came into the dining hall. The tables were already set. The white table cloths went well with the colourful room. The windows let light shine in from the morning sun. The high ceiling made the room like an echo chamber. The chef and 9 waiters came in. The princess was so glad Twilight invited the little baby dragon Spike to help with the prophecy. It was always fun to have the sarcastic little dragon around. The waiter then placed a closed platter in front of everypony. “And what is this delectable dish you made this time Chef Pickle?” Asked Princess Luna, still tired from her midnight court. The unicorn waiter lifted up the lid to reveal the canterlot breakfast. “Zis is veggie benedict with maple crumpits and Honey Tea to quench you thirst,” said Chef Pickle before bowing and walking out with the waiters following. All the ponies then started to eat this amazing breakfast. The mouth watering Hollangraze sauce complements the hay-ham and the grade-A daisies. The maple crumpets were to die for, the maple was imported from the maple trees near Red Dear, The home of the elk and deer, north west of Equestria. Even the Honey Tea was imported from Trottingham. Afrer everypony was finished their breakfast, they started to chat about what the prophecy might have meant, and who was the mysterious alienpony. “He could have been a spy,” said Rainbow Dash. “Then why did he attack?” asked Twilight. “Maybe, he was startled,” whimpered Fluttershy. “He was a warrior from my brothers planet!” boomed Princess Celestia. Everyone stopped chattering. They all looked up to Princess Celestia. “I saw the portal through my bedroom window. My parents warned me that alicorn inter-terrestrial portals look like black holes, tearing up the sky is resides in. It is a rare form of alicorn magic. My brother must have sent his warrior to scout, he is planning an attack.” Everypony's eyes tripled in size.
