It was a quiet and rainy morning in Canterlot city. Over at the train station, a locomotive pulled into the terminal.
“Huh? I was expecting more, big brother.” a little pale green skin and red hair boy stated out loud.
“We haven’t even entered the main city, Phobos, so calm down.” A large and stocky royal blue-skinned with royal purple hair teen reprimanded.
“Okay, Agni. do you see uncle Iron anywhere?” Phobos glanced about, hoping to find a glimpse of their uncle through the large crowd
“Just give me a second to go through the bags to make sure we have all of them.” After making sure that our bags were, in fact, all there, I look around to see my silver skin and white hair uncle stand with a sign with our names on it in a denser path.
“Yeah I see the old geezer, Follow me.” I grab my brothers hand and start to walk to our uncle.
“Hello Uncle, Iron, how you been doing.”
“Ai. I have fair well myself. How about you barra hmm?”
“I am fine and did you already have a beer or two today.”
“Yes, I may have a swally or two down at the pub.”
“Ugh, what I am I going to do with you and please stop talking Scottish, please. It is hard to understand you sometimes, You remember Phobos at least.”
“Oh, where is the wee yin?”
“Right here uncle can we please get going.”
“Yeah, yeah let’s get going.” My uncle started to walk to the front exit with my brother in tow. I grabbed our bags off of the ground and walked behind them.
When we got outside to the parking lot I saw my uncle had brought my father’s car from when he was in high school. The car in mention was a black base color 1967 Shelby Mustang gt500, It was a beautiful car as always. “Hold on let me pop the trunk for you Agni.” My uncle quickly ran to the trunk and unlocked I walked up next to him and placed our bags in the trunk. I turned to face my uncle “Thank you for allowing me and Phobos to live with you at the gym.”
“We are family I would do anything to help you grow up into a respectful man you, hear me.”
“Yeah, I hear you.” I hug my uncle and walk around to the front.
“Hey, Agni catch.” I turn quickly and hold up my hand. I open my hand to see a pair of keys and realize one is the key to the car.
“Are you sure about this?”
“Aye I am, it is fine I have been wanting you to have the car anyways. I feel like your father would have wanted you to have it anyways.”
“Well okay I will treat it with the respect it deserves.”
“You better you hear.” We piled in the car and pulled off.
We later arrived at our destination and I parked the car. “Still running the old gym I see.”
“What you thought I would sell the place.” I started to pull out our bags. “Well, yeah I did.”
My uncle quickly cut me off. “The old girl still has a long time to go. And I still have enough steam to knock some heads around.” We walked to the building in question and it was a simple two-story building with a sign that says Iron Boxing. I saw a few people entering and exiting including a girl with a rainbow hair color.
“Well she has an interesting style, doesn’t she?”
“Oh yeah, that is Rainbow something one of the best I have trained. She has even almost mastered lighting punches.”
“Oh, so she is a what you call a bullet boxer?”
“Yup that she is unlike you Mister tank.”
“Hey, that ain't my fault.”
“Whatever you say let us get inside already.”
“Yeah yeah.” With that, we proceeded into the gym and head to the back where there was a door.
I set the bags down while I looked around the gym. It had a boxing ring in the center with different types of punching bags here and there. “See you kept everything in the same place.”
“Yup didn’t feel like anything needed to change.” My uncle finally unlocked the door and opened it to reveal a set of stairs heading up. I picked up the bags and headed up the stairs. I enter my uncle’s apartment and saw the old couch and table in the kitchen located in the back. I looked to the left and saw three doors. Two were open and saw my uncle’s room and that bathroom. I saw the door to the right was closed and guessed that was where I and Phobos were staying. I walked over and opened the door. As I was entering the room Phobos rushed past and looked around. I followed his example and examined the room seeing two simple beds with desk beside each with a small dresser at the ends of them
“I want the one on the right!” Phobos exclaimed.
“Sure whatever you say.” I sighed and set our bags down and went to the living room and collapsed on the couch and relaxed. My uncle walked in the living room and sat next to me.
“You do realize next week you head back to school?”
“Yeah, I figured that. I plan to start to get a sleep schedule.”
“Well it is almost about five-ish so I suggest you unpack and get something to eat.”
“Yeah, I should get to that.” I got up and went to the room and started to unpack our bags. After I finished with the bags and saw it was almost eight. “Shit need to get ready for bed.” I went to the bathroom in the of my uncle’s and of my brothers and I’s room and took my shower. I exit the shower and went to the bedroom.
Before I lay down on my bed my uncle opened the door. “Hey, Agni mind if we talk a little?”
“Oh sure.” I turned and walked to my uncle in the Kitchen. “Yeah what’s up?”
“I wanted to talk to you about how this is your last chance for you and your brother, Please don’t mess this up for your brother.”
“Yeah I know I am going to try my best for him, I have been too selfish.” I got up and went to my room. I set the alarm on my alarm clock and went to bed.
Beep,Beep,Beep. I reached out and shut off my alarm and got out of bed. I went to the Dresser at the end of the bed. I pulled out a pair of faded blue jeans and a deep wine red t-shirt, with an image of a ram skull in purple color, and headed to the bathroom to get dressed. “Hey, Phobos wake up and get dressed for school,” I spoke out loud. I returned a few minutes later with a few pieces of toast and our backpacks for school. Phobo’s backpack was a black one with white little skulls on it and mine was a simple blue one. “Here’s our bags and breakfast we will need to leave in about fourth five minutes to get to school in time.”
“Thanks, bro and do we have our supplies and such?”
“Yup packed them last night for us.”
“Well, I am going to go read while we wait.” Phobos grabbed a random book at the end of his desk and headed to the living room. I followed him and went to stretch out my muscles a little more.
The time passed quickly and we went downstairs and exited the gym. “Put your bag in the back and let us get on our way.”
As I was driving I had to come to stop at a red light and looked around and saw a pet shelter to the left and a girl with pink hair walking towards the direction of the school. I turned away as I saw the light turn green.
I parked the car and got out when I arrived at the high school with a couple of minutes to spare. “Holy crap I am cutting it a little close.” I quickly rush up to the steps and get inside. I pause a second to take in my surroundings. It is the typical entrance to a school with a few hallways going every which way with what looks like a trophy case filled with an assortment of medals and awards. I felt something bump into me while I was examining the entrance.
“Oh, I’m sorry I Didn't see you there.”
I turn around to see the girl with pink hair behind me with an assortment of other people. “No it was my fault I shouldn’t be standing in the middle of the entrance of the school. Have a nice day.” I walk to what I assume is the main office to the left and knock on the door.
“Come in please.” I opened the door and stepped into the office. “Please take a seat. May I ask what you need help with?”
“Yes, my name is Agni. I was transferred to this school today.”
“Ah, you must be my newest transfer. Welcome to Canterlot high. I am Head Principal Celestia and my younger sister is Vice Principal Luna.”
“Hello, Principal Celestia. I came for my schedule for the day.”
“Very well, let me get it real quick.” She started to look over the papers and found it. “Here we are, Agni Aliward, It says you have most of the regular classes and you have a music elective. May I ask what you play?”
“Just percussion. Just do it to past time.” Agni grabs his sheet. “Thank you, Principal Celestia, I will be heading to class now.” Agni turns and exits the door and makes his way to his first class of English.
Took some time but Agni Finally finds his first classroom. “God this place is like a maze.” Agni knocks on the door and he hears the teacher stop class to open the door. The door opens to show the class was in the middle of the lesson.
“Come on in.” A voice rings through the door. Agni reaches and opens the door to the classroom. “Hello, you must be my new student Agni. Guessing you got lost in the hallways?”
“Yes sorry, sir,” Agni responds before standing in front of the class.
“Well. Class this Agni Alyward. He is a transfer from Manehatten. Give him a warm welcome.” The teacher states as he waves his hand towards to Agni.
Agni smile and bows his head. He quickly heads to his seat and sits down. He looks around and sees a couple of students here and there taking notes. He goes to pull out his notebook and starts to write down notes.
A few hours later
Agni was putting away his books as the bell signaling the end of class rang. He got up and started making his way out of class. As he walks out he bumps into a pink-haired female knocking down her books. “Oh, I’m so sorry to let me help you.” He bends down and starts to help pick up the books.
“Hi, I’m Agni. Sorry about that by the way.” He states as he hands the books back to her.
“Thank you. I’m Fluttershy.” The girl whispers quietly hiding behind her hair.
` “Umm could you speak up I couldn’t hear you.” Agni asked.
“I’m Fluttershy and thank you.” She repeats louder and starts fidgeting a little.
“Ah, there we go. Well, your welcome Fluttershy and have a nice day.” Agni says before walking to his next class.
As Agni is walking to his next class he stops when he hears some voices in a side hallway. “Come on guys please leave me alone I did what you asked.” Agni peeks around the corner and sees a skilly pale kid being surrounded by two kids.
“We aren’t asking for much just your lunch money. I didn’t bring any and you wouldn’t want me to go hungry Snails?” one of the bullies said with a little chuckle.
“But I need this money. It is for my lunch and its taco day.” Snails say quietly.
“Well to bad give it to …” The bully suddenly gets decked from the side. The other one turns to see Agni there pulling back his arm.
“Leave him alone,” Agni says circling around to help Snails up.
“Yeah, and what if I just beat your ass instead?” The other bully says cracking his knuckles.
“I would love to see you try.” Agni lowers into his boxing stance ready.
As the bully starts to charge Agni a voice shouts out. “Hey cut the crap already and move it to class.” It was the girl from the gym with rainbow hair.
“What do you want Rainbow Dash can’t you see we are in the middle of something?” The bully snarls at her.
“Yeah, I can see you about to lose a fight and that you are bulling a student. Would you like me to be involved as well?” Rainbow says stepping forward.
“No. this isn’t worth it anyway.” The bully grabs his friend and help him to stand up straight.”Be warned new kid you just painted a target on your back.” The two leave quickly.
“Thanks for the help,” Agni says turning to check on the kid. “You okay?”
“Yeah, thanks but I need to go I can’t be later to class.” Snails say hurrying away.
“Welp I got to go see you around new kid.” Rainbow turns and leaves as well.
Agni quickly grabs his books and starts to look for his next class
