Seven players, three rounds, two options. Tell the truth, do the dare, or you die. Who will survive?

It was supposed to be a simple camping trip to celebrate graduating Canterlot High School. They choose to play truth or dare, but what they didn't know, was that the game was really playing them.

Tell the truth.

Do the dare.

Or die.

Who will survive? Only the game knows.

Round I

A van drove down the highway, holding seven girls, all new graduates of Canterlot High School. They were heading toward a campsite they had reserved for the night, all were excited and ready for a night of fun, "Ooh! This is so exciting! We finally graduated and we get to spend the first weekend of adulthood together camping!" Pinkie exclaimed with a giggle as she sat up and looked back at Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack, who were sitting in the back row of the van. She had previously been leaning against her girlfriend, Rainbow Dash's shoulder.

"Yes...remind me again why we have to take a campsite two hours from town again?" Rarity asked.

"Because it was the cheapest one we could find," Applejack replied.

"Why?" Rarity asked, arching an eyebrow.

"The website said the place was haunted or something," Twilight added, rolling her eyes as she continued driving down the road.

"What you don't believe in ghosts and spirits, Twily?" Sunset asked with a smirk, looking at her girlfriend from the passenger seat.

"Ghosts? Spirits?!" Fluttershy squeaked, "Maybe we should stay in a hotel..."

"Of come on, Flutters, that stuff is baloney, don't worry about it," Rainbow snickered, before wrapping her arm around Pinkie and pulling her against her. The pink teen complied with a smile.

"Well, I believe in it. I mean, I did come from a world of magical ponies and mythical creatures. If magic exists then why not ghosts too?" Sunset said with a smile, the others thinking about the statement as Twilight continued to push the vehicle down the highway.

By the time the girls arrived at their campsite, the sun had started to set, giving them a small fraction of time to set their camp up, which Twilight was happy to organize, "Okay. If Sunny, Rainbow, and AJ set up the tents, then Pinkie and I can get some firewood while Rarity and Fluttershy-"

"Make this place less...unsanitary. We'll set up chairs and blankets," Rarity piped, interrupting Twilight's instruction, much to her frustration, though she didn't let it show.

"Right...well, come on Pinkie," Twilight said, and the two made their way to find some firewood.

"Do you really think this place is haunted?" Pinkie asked, skipping next to Twilight down the path, the two stopping only to pick up wood.

"Of course I don't, Pinkie. That's ridiculous," Twilight replied, adjusting her glasses as she picked up a small bundle of sticks she found lying on the ground.

"Sunset believes it!" Pinkie giggled, smirking as she silently stuck a twig in Twilight's ponytail when her back was turned.

"So? She might be my girlfriend but I don't have to believe everything she does," Twilight replied, rolling her eyes playfully, "You don't believe everything Rainbow says do you?"

"Well, no. Guess you have a point huh?" Pinkie laughed again, trying to keep her eyes off the small branch sticking out of her friend's hair, she continued snickering as they began walking back to the campsite, deeming they had enough firewood for the night.

"This looks amazing girls!" Twilight praised as both Pinkie and herself dumped the firewood in the firepit that was centered between the circle of chairs Rarity and Fluttershy had set up. A yard or two back, three tents were set up. One for Twilight and Sunset, one for Pinkie and Rainbow, and the biggest one for Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity.

"Yes well, I for one can't stay a whole weekend out here sitting on logs or worse...the ground! We'll be much more comfortable on these lawn chairs," Rarity announced, proud of her work.

"I even added these nice throw blankets in case the wind picks up," Fluttershy added, a small smile on her face.

"Well, what should we do now?" Sunset asked, approaching with Rainbow and Applejack behind her. She stopped by Twilight and crossed her arms.

"Hmm...well it is getting dark. Maybe dinner then we can play a game or two!" Pinkie suggested, and the others nodded with a smile or smirk. They all loved how childish Pinkie still was, even as an adult, especially Rainbow Dash.

The fire crackled in the soft breeze, though the summer wind was warm, the couples of the group sat together, blankets around the pair to keep them close together, "I forgot how much a love marshmallows," Pinkie laughed as she pulled another one from the pack and popped it in her mouth.

"Yeah well, I think you've had enough. If you have another sugar rush I'll never get to sleep!" Everyone laughed at Rainbow's comment, the latter huffing and rolling her eyes before smiling and pulling Pinkie against her and rubbing her arm, "You're lucky I love you."

"I know," Pinkie giggled.

"Well, Pinkie suggested a game or two. What should we play?" Fluttershy asked after the laughter died down.

"Hide N' Seek?" Pinkie suggested immediately.

"No way! If we weren't in the woods maybe, but here, absolutely not!" Rarity snapped, blowing that idea out of the water.

"Never Have I Ever?" Rainbow asked.

"We've played that enough times to learn how much of a pervert we all are already haven't we?" Sunset replied with, a faint color coming to her face.

"Fine...oh! What about Truth or Dare?" Rainbow retorted, a wide smirk growing on her face.

"Ooh! I love that game!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"It couldn't hurt right?" Fluttershy added.

"Sounds good ta me. Did ya bring any cards?" Applejack questioned, looking at Rainbow, who nodded.

"Of course I did!" Rainbow said triumphantly as she reached into her backpack and pulled out a stack of cards and seven pens, "Huh...I don't remember packing that many pens," She muttered, before shrugging it off and handing everyone six cards and a pen, "We can do three rounds, so if we all do three truths and three dares we'll have plenty variety,"

"Nice thinking, Dash!" Twilight complimented as she started writing on her notecards.

"Can we try not to get too intimate though? You know...keep it clean?" Pinkie perked up as everyone was writing, "Since four of us are in a relationship?"

"Agreed,"

"Yes, definitely!"

"That would be appreciated..."

After everybody finished writing they walked over to the picnic table that lied just behind Fluttershy's chair. They separated the truth and the dare cards in two separate piles, which Applejack mixed up, "Alright who wants to go first?" Applejack asked.

"I will!" Pinkie volunteered.

"Alright. Truth or dare?" Applejack asks.

"Dare!" Pinkie smirked before grabbing a dare card, "Awww come on! Seriously?!" She groaned in annoyance.

"What's it say?" Twilight asks.

"'Kiss Sunset,' My guess is that Twilight wrote this and she hoped she'd get it," Pinkie said, looking at Twilight, who was scarlet, giving them their answer.

"Well, you have to do it!" Rarity giggled.

"Finnee..." Pinkie stood and walked to Sunset and grabbed her shirt collar, and pressed their lips together. Though blushing, Sunset returned then kiss, which only lasted a few seconds before they pulled apart, and Pinkie returned to her seat, "Your turn, SunShim!" Pinkie giggled, and the latter sighed. She couldn't believe that absurd nickname hadn't run its course yet, and at this point, she didn't think it ever would.

"Truth or dare, Fluttershy?"

"Truth...please..." Shakily reaching out, she read her card,"'Tell your guilty pleasure,'" Fluttershy read before glaring in Rainbow and Pinkie's direction, "What happened to 'keep it clean'?"

"I didn't write that!" Pinkie insisted, holding her hands up.

"I didn't either," Rainbow added, shrugging.

"Well, who did?"

Nobody spoke up, only shrugs or confused looks were what Fluttershy got in return,"Well, you gotta answer nonetheless," Applejack reminded her friend, who sighed.

"Fine...sometimes I...uh..."

"Come on, Flutters! We are grown women we won't judge you!" Rainbow encouraged.

"Well...sometimes I...touch myself in the shower..." Fluttershy whispered meekly, blushing, and everyone nodded, knowing not to make jokes or push for details from their shy friend. After a moment of silence to compose herself, she continued, "Um...Rarity...truth or dare?"

"Dare," Rarity said quickly. She didn't like doing stupid dares her friends made, but it was better than revealing dark secrets, especially with a certain blonde playing. She sighed and picked up a dare card, and instantly regretted her choice as a blush spread across her cheek,"'Makeout with Applejack,'" She looked at Applejack after glaring at her friends, who all smiled back innocently, they all knew Rarity liked Applejack, "Who wrote this?" She looked at Twilight who shook her head.

"Wasn't me," Sunset swore.

"Nope," Rainbow said.

"Sorry, I didn't write that..." Fluttershy whispered, still shaken from her revealed secret.

"Not me," Pinkie shrugged.

"Sure wasn't me!" Applejack promised, and everyone knew she wasn't lying.

"Well, if I didn't write it and nobody else did then how did it get here?!"

"Let me see that," Sunset said, taking the card and examining the crude, deep writing, "This isn't anyone's handwriting..." She said, "Go on and do the dare Rarity, I gotta check something," Pulling out her phone, Sunset began to research something.

Meanwhile, Rarity was blushing as she turned to face Applejack, who smiled awkwardly at her. The two slowly leaned in and closed the distance between them. A spark seemed to emit from between them when their lips touched. Applejack wrapped her arms around Rarity's neck and pulled her closer.

The kiss lasted nearly a minute before the girls intervened. At least, Rainbow did, "Okay lovebirds! Get a room before you start undressing!" The two pulled apart blushing, and looked away from each other in embarrassment, blushes lining their faces.

Rarity looked up after a moment, "T-Twilight...truth or dare...?"

"Um...dare," Twilight reached out and took a card then gasped at what it said, "No! I'm done! I'm not playing this anymore!" She exclaimed as she stood up, "Whoever wrote this is sick!"

"What's it say Twilight?" Applejack asked, confused and at full alert from her friend's panic.

Twilight gulped and took a deep breath, "It says...'Break Rainbow's leg,'" Everyone but Sunset, who was still busy scrolling through her phone, gasped.

"What?! Who the hell wrote that?!" Rainbow spat in anger. At first, everyone could only exchange glances, silence filling the area.

"Nobody."

Everyone turned at the sudden sound of Sunset's voice, "What do you mean nobody?" Fluttershy asks, arching an eyebrow.

"The game wrote it..."

"Sunset I am not in the mood for another one of your pranks to scare me!" Twilight snapped, glaring daggers at her girlfriend.

"I'm not, Twilight. I promise. Listen to this article I found,'For years, people have played the classic childhood game "Truth or Dare," but what they don't know is that the game is real. Once a game is started, it must be finished, and you must do the dare and tell the truth. There are three specific gameplays that have been recorded throughout the years. The first played in 1994, was played by a group of six friends, by the end of the game, only one person was still alive. She committed suicide three months after the game ended. In 2004, another game, also played by a group of six people, ended with one survivor as well. She still lives today, but her only comment was that the game gets harder and more fatal throughout the three rounds, and advises the players to be wise. The latest record of this deadly game took place in 2009, where miraculously, three people survived out of the eight players. They live together in an unknown location and refuse to speak to anyone about the tragedy.' Guys... This game is real!"

Everyone sat in shocked silence, Twilight the first to speak, "Well...if that's all true...then that's how the cards changed. Hang on, the cards!" Snatching the piles off the table, Twilight searched the note cards and frowned, "They're all blank!"

"The game must write our dare or truth based on what we say," Rainbow said.

"So...so I have to..." Twilight gasped as she dropped the stack of cards on the table when something hit her foot. She leaned down and picked up the object, which upon standing up, found she was holding a bat, "It has a message engraved on here....it says...'Do the dare, or the dare does you...'"

"Wait, what?! You're actually gonna do it?!" Rainbow yelled, standing and backing away from Twilight, who was tearing up.

"I...Do I have a choice?" She looked to Sunset.

"No...listen. There are rules...They aren't nice rules either,'There are three rounds and seven rules. Rule number one, tell the truth. You lie, you die. Number two, do the dare, or the dare does you..." Everyone listened in horror at the trouble they had gotten themselves into while paying attention to the information Sunset was supplying them with,"'Rule number three, you must complete the game in three days, or you all die. Number four, you only get one truth, and as the game gives you worse dares as the game progresses, it is advised to use it wisely. Number five if you say you won't/can't do the dare, the dare does you. Number six, the game will follow you wherever you go. Finally, number seven, you are not playing the game, the game is playing you,'"

"So...if I don't break Rainbow's leg...the game will break mine?" Twilight asked, clutching her bat tightly.

"Seems that way...though with as evil as this game seems...it could do worse."

Twilight looked to Rainbow, tears running down her face," Dash...I...I have to!"

"No way! If you do this, my athletic scholarship is dead! I can't lose that!"

"Rainbow! Listen to yourself!" Sunset yelled, standing up and approaching Rainbow, "Don't you understand what well...what you have gotten us into?!"

"Me?!"

"You suggested this game, and this is where it took us! Now listen, if Twilight doesn't do this, the game could break her leg, or both of them or worse! Would you rather have your leg broken, which can heal, or the possibility of both of hers broken or worse and not knowing if it'll heal?!"

"I..." Rainbow hesitated,"...Fine! Just...get it over with..." Releasing a shaky breath, Rainbow walked over and sat down on an empty side of the picnic table, laying her left leg across it, Pinkie was instantly at her girlfriend's side, squeezing her hand.

"I...I...I'm sorry Rainbow! I...I wish I didn't have to!" She cried as she approached the table, the bat shaking in her grasp.

"I know..." Rainbow looked away.

"Wait...her leg? So...do I just smash where her knee is or...?" The girls gasped when their phones lit up, the same text message on each phone.

One hard smack on her thigh, knee, and shin

Twilight started to bawl as she leaned against Sunset, "I...I can-" Sunset covered Twilight's mouth with her hand before she could finish.

"You have to..."

Twilight sighed shakily as she approached Rainbow again, "Where do you want me to...first?"

"Thigh...shin...knee..." Rainbow whispered, biting her lip.

Twilight nodded and brought the wooden bat above her head, "I'm sorry..." She whispered before bringing the bat down as hard as she could on Rainbow's thigh, a crack was heard as Rainbow screamed in pain as she clung to Pinkie, who held her, everyone shedding tears as they watched their friend be forced to torture another friend. Twilight panted for a few minutes before raising the bat again and slamming it down on Rainbow's thigh, another crack and scream following. Twilight raised the bat again but this time Rainbow stopped her.

"Wait...just...just give me a second..." Rainbow whispered clinging to Pinkie as tears ran down hers, and everyone else's faces.

After a few minutes, Rainbow sniffed and looked at Twilight,"...Okay...I'm ready..." Rainbow really wasn't but she knew it couldn't be more painful than the last two blows. Twilight raised the bat, positioning it over her friend's knee, then came down as hard as her strength would allow.

Rainbow was wrong. The pain was the worst imaginable. She released a bloodcurdling scream into Pinkie's chest as a loud crack echoed through the forest. Twilight dropped the bat and collapsed against Sunset crying as she repeatedly muttered, "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry..."

Rainbow whimpered as she remained frozen, crying into her girlfriend's shirt, "Alright. We have three rounds and three days. We'll finish the first tonight, do round two tomorrow, and the final on Sunday. We work together, okay?" The others nodded at Sunset's instruction, "Okay Twilight, pick who's next...let's get this over with for Rainbow's sake..."

"Sunset...truth or dare?"

"Truth," She replied almost instantly. She had meant to choose dare, but the fear of what her dare would be kept her from picking it. She picked up a card,"'What are your intentions for, Fluttershy?'" Everyone's eyes widened, their attention on the amber woman, "None of course! She's my friend," Once again, everyone's phone lit up.

Liar.

"Sunset...just tell the truth...please. I won't be mad..." Twilight said, placing a hand on her girlfriend's shoulder.

"Fine...I like her. I have a small crush on her, and I've even imagined sleeping with her, but I would never cheat on you Twilight I promise!" Twilight nodded and Fluttershy blushed, "Okay...Pinkie Pie. Truth or dare?"

"Um...dare..." She replied, before bringing a lawn chair to the table and with Applejack's help, laid Rainbow on the chair before picking up a card, and gasped. She dropped the card and backed against a tree, "No no no no!" She cried, fresh tears running down her face.

Rarity, being the closest, picked up the card and read it. Her eyes widened, but she sighed and read it for her,"'Stab Rarity's eye'...Do it, Pinkie..."

"What?! Rarity no!"

"You have to!" She replied, walking over and grabbing a pocket knife from Applejack's bag and handing it to Pinkie, "If you don't the game will do it to you and worse! Nobody is going to die if we follow the rules! Now do it!"

"Wait!" Applejack yelled, "Rares, lay down first, it'll stop the blood from going everywhere," Rarity nodded and laid down on a lawn chair, which Applejack had tilted to keep her body in a near perfect horizontal line, "I got an eyepatch and some gauze in here you can use..." Applejack added, then sighed. She couldn't believe she actually had to use her first aid kit for anything more than a scratch.

"R...ready?" Pinkie asked, looking down at Rarity as she towered over her.

"As I'll ever be I guess..." Rarity replied, sucking in a deep breath. Pinkie nodded and aimed the knife above Rarity's right eye, before pulling away, shaking her head, "Pinkie you have to!" Rarity yelled.

"No!"

"Do it or I'll do the same to Rainbow!" Rarity yelled.

Her comment made Pinkie scream in anger, "No!!!" and thrust the knife into her friend's eye and yank it back out. Rarity's screams were what snapped her back to reality.

"Rarity I... I'm sorry!"

"It's okay..." The fashionista heaved as Applejack placed the gauze over Rarity's eye and taped it down, then placed an eyepatch over it for extra support.

"You okay, Sugarcube?" Applejack asked, placing a hand on her friend's shoulder.

"Yes...yes I'm okay just...let me lay here for a moment... Oh...uh, Applejack...truth or dare?" Rarity knew the quicker they finished the stupid round the faster they could get to a doctor, and she was all for rushing this evil game.

"Dare," She replied, and grabbed a card from the table,"'Burn your hand in the fire fer twenty seconds,'" Without thinking she responded, "No way! I won't do it!"

"Applejack no!" The girls all yelled, but too late, and the country girl gasped as she was suddenly forced to the ground, her arm from the elbow down landing inside the fire pit. Screaming, she tried to force her arm away as it was practically cooked alive, but she was unable to.

"Applejack!!" Rarity screamed, tears pouring from her eyes, though her right eye's tears were red, as she jumped from her seat and clasped her arms around her waist and pulled as hard as she could, and after the twenty seconds were up, Rarity was able to pull her away, the two landing on top of each other on the ground. Everyone gasped at the arm, which was now covered in blisters and burns. Crying, AJ leaned against Rarity, hugging her burning arm.

"Here," Twilight said, "Hold your arm out," Obeying, Applejack stuck her arm out and only flinched, as her arm was mostly numb when ice cold water was poured over her burns. She sighed at the coolness as she closed her eyes, and laid her head on a blushing Rarity's shoulder, who wrapped her arms around her in return.

After bandaging Applejack's arm, everyone turned their attention to Pinkie, who was rocking back and forth slowly on her bottom. She had her arms around her legs, which were pressed tightly to her chest. Rarity led her burned friend to the picnic table and sat her down before crouching next to Pinkie, "Darling...I'm okay. I promise. I'm not mad at you..." Rarity said gently, pulling Pinkie to her feet and into a hug.

"I know...I...I just hate this game so much...what if we don't all survive?!"

"That's what we're trying to prevent, but we have to work together. Okay? Come on, let's check on Rainbow Dash,"

Nodding, Pinkie and Rarity walked to the chair Rainbow was in, only to find her eyes closed, "Dashie?" Pinkie asked, collapsing beside her, fearing the worst. She grabbed Rainbow's shoulders and shook her, tearing up, "Dashie!?!"

"Ugh...what?" Rainbow groaned, eyes fluttering open, then gasped when she felt Pinkie's arms wrap around her neck and fresh tears dripping on her shoulders.

"Don't do that! I thought you...I thought you were dead!"

"Sorry sorry!" Rainbow returned the embrace, rubbing the normally bubbly teen's back sympathetically,"I'm just feeling tired..."

"Guys, three of us need a doctor, but we gotta finish this round first, so who's next?" Sunset intervened, crossing her arms with a worried expression covering her face.

"Sorry...I forgot to ask...uh...Fluttershy. Truth or dare?" Applejack asked, looking at the friend sitting next to her. The whole time since the game had started, Fluttershy hadn't moved from her spot, her body trembling in fear.

"I don't wanna play!" She squeaked, burying her face in her hands.

"None of us do, but we don't have much of a choice..." Twilight replied, sitting next to her shy friend and pulling her into a hug, which Fluttershy returned.

Once they pulled apart, Fluttershy sighed and weighed her options. She had a dark secret she couldn't risk revealing, and if she got truth, she knew she'd have to,"...Dare," she said, at last, surprising everyone, but nevertheless, she picked up a dare card,"'Drink the liquid'? What liquid?" Fluttershy asked, then the group turned when they heard a pouring sound. A champagne glass was now laying on top of their cooler, a deep colored, almost black looking substance inside.

Being the only volunteer, Twilight approached the glass and lifted it up and sniffed it, "Blood. Animal blood specifically. Not sure which one, but I'd assume pig's or something,"

Fluttershy's face flushed green, "What?! I have to drink all of that?!"

"Guess so. At least yours is easy," Twilight shrugged.

"Not for me! I...I..." She shook her head.

The girls all exchanged glances, then Rarity smiled, "What if we help her? None of the rules say we can't share the dare! We can split it seven ways with these, and all drink it together," Rarity explained, grabbing seven red solo cups from the package of them next to the cooler.

"Sounds good to me," Rainbow complied.

"Me too!" Pinkie smiled.

"Will, that work Fluttershy?" Twilight asked.

"The...the less I have to drink the better..." She whispered. Everyone smiled and Twilight placed the seven cups side by side and poured a small amount of the blood into each cup until the glass was empty.

"Well lookie there! Barely a mouthful each," Applejack said. She herself was glad she wouldn't have to drink much, and she knew everyone else was too, but they wouldn't dare to say it, knowing Fluttershy would feel bad.

After handing Rainbow her cup, Pinkie got hers and the others joined, "On three," Sunset said.

"One," Rarity started.

"Two," Twilight continued.

"Three!" Fluttershy exclaimed, and everyone quickly chugged their drinks, coughing at the taste.

"Can...can we throw it up?" Twilight asked, holding her stomach once everyone was done.

"Well, we drank it, so the dare is done...yeah we can!" Sunset said as she followed Twilight in throwing up the contents of their drink, everyone, especially Fluttershy, quickly followed.

"Rainbow...you're the last one, then we can go to a hospital..." Fluttershy began, sitting next to her friend, "So...truth or dare?"

"Truth," Rainbow said, and everyone sighed in relief, not wanting their brash friend to hurt herself more. Fluttershy nodded and handed her a card.

Rainbow read it out loud, not bothering to quietly first,"'Tell who you cheated on Pinkie with,'" Rainbow's eyes widened, "I never cheated!" Instantly, everyone's phones lit up.

Liar.

Pinkie looked at Rainbow, "You lie, you die! Please just tell me! I'll forgive you I promise!" Pinkie begged, looking at Rainbow with pleading eyes.

"I...I can't!"

You lie, you die.

"Rainbow Dash, I will never forgive you if you let yourself die over this! Who did you sleep with?!" Pinkie screamed, tears forming on the brim of her eyes.

Rainbow squeezed her eyes closed before yelling, "I slept with Fluttershy two months ago!"

Everyone froze, staring at either Fluttershy or Rainbow with wide, shocked eyes. Sunset broke the silence, "Let's just...get to the hospital before someone bleeds out..."

Nodding, Sunset, being the second strongest, since AJ currently unable to use both arms, lifted Rainbow bridal-style into her arms and carried her to the car, while everyone else packed up as quickly as they could, before Twilight turned on emergency lights and sped down the highway toward the closest hospital.

A Small Break

Twilight, Fluttershy, and Pinkie sat quietly in the waiting room, saddened expressions on their faces. They looked up when a door opened and Sunset approached them, sitting next to Twilight, "What did the detective say?"

"They're labeling it as an accident,"

"What?! Three people get seriously hurt on the same day and it's an "accident"?!" Pinkie exclaimed in anger.

"I tried telling them about the game and how it's real... but when I told them we were drinking they... they said it was just us being drunk and it was a game gone wrong."

"Didn't you tell them we stopped drinking before we even started playing?" Twilight asked, tearing up.

"They wouldn't listen to me..." Sunset sighed and wrapped an arm around the lavender woman, "Just as well though... Even if they did believe us, they can't stop the game...We still have to finish."

"The rules said it all gets worse! What if we aren't here for injury next time? What if it's because one of us died?!" Pinkie was also tearing up now and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.

"If we work together, then maybe we can prevent that," Sunset replied.

After a moment of teary silence, the door opened again, and Rarity and Applejack walked out, fresh bandages on their wounds, "They said I'll heal in a couple months..." Applejack began.

"I'll never see from my right eye again..." Rarity finished, biting her lip. Pinkie burst into tears and ran to Rarity and hugged her.

"I'm so sorry!"

"It's not your fault... it's the game's," Rarity replied, wrapping her arms around Pinkie to return the embrace.

"Do you know when Dash will be out yet?" Applejack asked as she sat down.

"Not yet..." Twilight sighed, looking down at the floor.

Rarity and Pinkie joined her, and the girls sat together, comforting each other in any way they could until Rainbow came out. When she did, she was on a pair of crutches," They said to stay off my leg for six months," She sighed, "Guess I'm not playing soccer this fall..." She sighed.

"I'm sorry Rainbow... Please forgive me..." Twilight whimpered, looking up at her friend with tears in her eyes.

"I never blamed you, Twi. Promise," Rainbow smiled weakly at her.

"How about this, we all stay at my place tonight, and start round two tomorrow?" Rarity suggested, and everyone nodded.

Once they all got to Rarity's, Rainbow sat down in the recliner, Pinkie curling up next to her, her head on Rainbow's chest and legs hanging off the side of the chair. Twilight and Sunset cuddled together on the loveseat, and the others sat on the couch, "So... What should we do?" Fluttershy asked.

"Doesn't matter... Just something to get our minds off that game for now," Pinkie replied with a shiver.

"Want to watch a movie?" Rarity suggested, "I have the new Pitch Perfect three," When everyone nodded, Rarity placed the movie in the DVD player and turned out the lights.

Throughout the film, the girls all laughed at the jokes and did their best to have fun, but no matter what they did, in the back of their minds was the horrible game that had the ability to kill them all with a single dare.

Round II

By the next afternoon, all the girls found themselves in Rarity's living room, in the same places as the night before. This time, however, the terrifyingly familiar stack of cards laid on the coffee table in the center of their messy circle. A first aid kit sat next to them, "Since Rainbow went last, she can ask first," Sunset said, "The rules say we have one truth, and Rainbow, Fluttershy, and myself have already used ours, so the rest of you use them wisely. Try to save them for the last round," Everyone nodded then looked to Rainbow.

"Alright...uh... Fluttershy, truth or dare?" Rainbow asked. The latter sighed, knowing she only had one option.

"Dare..." She whispered, picking up a card. Her breath hitched when she read it,"'Stab yourself somewhere to the hilt,' Won't that...k-kill me?"

"Not if we do it right," Twilight says, "Hang on," She continued before racing into the kitchen, and bringing back a sharp kitchen knife, "Do it on your arm or leg, somewhere away from major arteries."

Fluttershy nodded before taking the knife. She positioned it, aiming at her left arm. Pulling back, she thrust the knife into her arm to the hilt. Screaming, she released her arm add blood started running down her arm. Sunset rushed to her side, Rarity and Twilight following, "Hold her down, Twi," Sunset instructed as she laid Fluttershy on the floor. Twilight nodded and held Fluttershy down by her arms. Sunset grabbed the knife, "I'm about to pull this thing out okay, Shy? Rarity be ready to bandage her."

Rarity nodded and readied some bandages.

Uh...uh huh..." Fluttershy whimpered, nodding softly as she strained for air. Sunset took a breath and with a swift pull, and the knife was out and Rarity was quickly pressing gauze to the wound. She wrapped bandages around them and taped them down, hoping it held long enough to finish the round. Fluttershy groaned as she was sat up against the couch, "S...Sunset...truth or dare..." She asked weakly, clutching her arm, her eyes squeezed closed from the pain.

"I don't really have a choice so...dare," she said as she too grabbed a card from the dare pile,"'S...shoot...Twilight...'" Sunset began breathing hard and gasped when there was suddenly a gun lying next to her hand.

Twilight took a deep breath, "It didn't specify where...so...shoot my hand," She said, holding it out in front of her.

"Twilight no! I..." Sunset sighed, knowing she didn't have a choice. She was glad that the floor was carpet so the bullet wouldn't ricochet, "Okay... Keep your hand horizontal... I'll aim down and the bullet will hit the floor if it goes through," She shakily explained as she cocked the gun and aimed it down and Twilight's hand, and after a final check to make sure the bullet wouldn't hit anyone else, she fired.

Twilight screamed in pain and Sunset dropped the gun and pulled her girlfriend into a hug. She gasped when she realized the bullet never left hit the floor, "Twi..." The amber woman breathed, "The bullet is still in your hand..."

"I know! I can feel it!" She snapped as more tears ran down her face, while she clung to Sunset's shirt with her good hand, "Well...the faster we get done the quicker we get to a doctor so...Twilight truth or dare?"

"Dare," she says instantly and grabbed a card,"'...Break Sunset's hand...'" She said in a near-whisper, "What is with this game and making me break bones?!"

Sunset sighed then went to the kitchen and rummaged through the drawers until she found was she was looking for.

"Here Twilight," Sunset said as she entered the room and handed Twilight the hammer she had found. Twilight gasped.

"Look as mad as I am about you getting a bullet stuck in my hand there's no way I'm gonna break yours!"

"Well, you don't really have a choice unless you want your other hand broken! Just call this...making us even for me breaking your hand," Sunset explained before she slammed her hand on the table, "Now do it!'

Twilight whimpered and grasped tightly on the hammer, "I...I..." Sunset knew Twilight wouldn't hurt her, and decided to make her through anger.

"What are you too coward like with Midnight Sparkle?" Twilight growled.

"No!"

"Then prove it!" Twilight screamed in anger and pulled the hammer back before slamming it down on Sunset's hand.

Holding in her scream, Sunset bit her lip and groaned, pulling her now purple and black hand against her chest, "I'm sorry...I-,"

"-Finished the dare...thank you..." Sunset cut in and kissed Twilight on the cheek. Twilight gave a thin smile and nod as she wiped her teary eyes, "Alright...uh, Applejack, truth or dare?"

"...uh...dare I guess," The countrywoman said as she picked up a card,"'Walk the perimeter of the roof while it's wet..." Applejack took a deep breath, get some buckets of water," She says as she slipped her shoes off, feeling that doing it barefoot was the safest way to do her dare.

"Alright, the mattress is in place, the roof is wet, Pinkie is up there in case she slips, and we'll follow her. She should be just fine...okay Rarity?" Twilight explained, and Rarity nodded, biting her lip as she looked up at her crush with worry.

"Are you ready, AJ?!" Sunset called.

"Yeah...! I think so!" Applejack responded.

"It's okay AJ, I'm here if you slip, just look at me and take your time," Pinkie assured. All comedy and play had drained from the country woman's cousin. All that remained was seriousness and focus. Nodding at the instruction, Applejack slowly began to walk forward, trying to keep herself as stable as possible. Meanwhile, Pinkie walked backward, just as slow, though with more confidence.

"Where is Fluttershy? Why isn't she helping us?" Rarity asked as she carried one end of the mattress, while Sunset and Twilight carried the other, each using their one good hand.

"She wanted to rest, and Rainbow's keeping an eye on her," Twilight said, "You're doing great AJ!" She called.

Applejack stood on shaky legs as she continued to walk.

"Wait..." Twilight said, stopping. All three set the mattress down.

"What is it Twi?" Sunset asked, concerned.

"I just need a break... I'm sorry I'm weak..."

"No you aren't Twi," Sunset assured, and the two shared a quick kiss.

Just as they were about to pick up the mattress again, they heard a scream. It was Applejack. They looked up and gasped. Applejack had slipped and was hanging off the side. Pinkie was holding onto her. The girls gasped, "Applejack!!" Rarity screamed as she quickly dragged the mattress under where her friend was, "Just drop down!"

"She can't!" Pinkie called as she pulled AJ up, using all the strength she had. Applejack clung to her in tears," She has to finish the dare!"

Rarity watched with worry as Pinkie gently pushed a crying Applejack away from her, while still holding her hands, "I can't do this Pinkie..." She whispered, staring back at her with her watery eyes.

"Yes you can, you're almost done!" Pinkie assured, and slowly let go of her cousin's hand. Taking a deep breath, Applejack began to walk forward again the cold, slippery roof making her feet numb.

She knew it was going to happen, even before it did, but she wished she had been able to warn Pinkie in time, "Pinkie I-" Applejack started but was cut off by her own gasp as she slipped and fell backward, the back of her head smashing into the roof.

"Applejack!" Everyone yelled as their friend's unconscious body rolled off the building. Pinkie grabbed at her but missed.

The three on the ground rushed to pull the mattress under their friend, "Left...nono right!" Rarity commanded, but with one eye it was hard to tell, "No wait-!" Rarity began, figuring it out seconds too late.

Applejack's body crashed head-first onto the concrete driveway, a large blood puddle quickly forming around her head, "APPLEJACK!" Rarity screamed, tearing up as she rushed over and collapsed next to her, "Nonono please!" She cried, placing her fingers on AJ's neck.

No pulse.

Rarity sobbed over her friend's body, clinging to her.

Twilight, Sunset, and Pinkie, who had climbed down the ladder from the roof, approached, tears running down their faces, "We...we're so sorry Rarity..." Twilight whispered, burying her face in Sunset's shirt.

The four sat there in tears, when the familiar clacking of crutches was heard, "Guys! Fluttershy isn't-" Rainbow gasped, tearing up, "What happened...?"

"She slipped...we couldn't...couldn't get there in time..." Pinkie sobbed.

"Oh...well I have more bad news..." Rainbow started, and everyone but Rarity looked at her, "Fluttershy stopped breathing."

Everyone rushed into the house, Rainbow behind because of her crutches and Sunset because she was carrying Applejack's body, which she set on the floor by the loveseat, "Now what happened?" Twilight asked as she felt for a pulse on Fluttershy.

"We were just talking and then s-she said she was feeling sleepy and t-then she fell over and wouldn't respond to m-me!" Rainbow explained shakily as she sat back on the recliner. Twilight thought for a minute then gasped.

"Her dare! She must not have been careful enough and hit an artery in her arm which caused internal bleeding! Because we didn't know and get to a hospital...She's... She's now..."

The group had a new reason to cry. Two of their friends were now dead, and it was nearly an hour before they knew they had to continue, "Rarity..." Twilight began hoarsely, "Truth or dare?" She asked gently, looking to her friend, who was sitting by Applejack, stroking her bloody face.

"Truth..." She whispered, not looking up, or caring what she had to reveal any more. She had lost Applejack, and to her, she had lost it all. At this point, she no longer cared whether she lived or died.

Knowing she wasn't going to move, Twilight picked up a truth card and read it to her,"'Who in this game do you love the most?'"

"Applejack...I've had a crush on her since our Freshmen year. I wanted so badly to tell her how I felt, to show her how much I loved her, but I was always too afraid to ask her out. After that kiss at the campsite...I knew she was the one for me, and I knew she loved me back. I had planned to confess my feelings after this stupid game was over...now I never will have the chance..." Rarity wiped her eyes, smearing blood on her face, though she didn't care, "I just wish I had told her before..." She burst into tears again, laying her head on her crush's lifeless chest, taking Applejack's hand in her own and giving it a gentle squeeze.

Twilight went to comfort her but Sunset stopped her, placing her good hand on her shoulder, "Just leave her be for now," Sunset said then turned her attention to Pinkie, who was holding Rainbow in her lap. The rainbow-haired woman was crying over the loss of who she considered her sister. Sunset took a breath, "Pinkie...truth or dare?" Pinkie looked up, her angered expression at the question melting away when she saw tears running down her friend's face, "We have to finish..."

"...Truth," She whispered before pushing Rainbow off slightly, while still holding her against her side, while she picked up a card and read it,"'Why did you want to jump?'" The question made Pinkie sigh, and Rainbow look at her in alarm, "I thought of jumping too when Jackie fell...I... I'm just so tired of this stupid game! But...then I thought of My Dashie and my friends...and I couldn't do it...Not to mention I... I'm afraid of death..."

Everyone nodded, and Rainbow hugged her even tighter, "We're glad you didn't Pinkie...we don't need to lose anyone else..." Twilight said, sitting on the loveseat.

Pinkie gave a pathetic attempt at a laugh, before looking to Rainbow, "Truth or dare?"

Rainbow sighed, for she only had one option,"...D-dare..."

Rainbow reached forward and picked up a card and read it,"'Sleep with Twilight...'" Rainbow sniffed, "Fluttershy's name is crossed out...since she's gone I guess the game chose a name at random..."

Meanwhile, Twilight stood there, tense and in shock, "What if we don't...?"

"I think somehow the phrase,'do the dare or the dare do you,' will become very literal. Everyone, even Rarity, shuddered as Sunset spoke.

"But...but I don't love her! Not in that way and...and I'm a..."

Rainbow's eyes widened, "I can't take that from you, Twi..."

"We don't have a choice..." Twilight wiped her eyes.

"Don't we get a say in this?!" Pinkie asked, pointing to herself and Sunset.

"Sadly, no, Pinkie," Sunset said, "This game...it's making us face fears and...even punishing us..."

"Huh?!"

"Rainbow cheated...so it's making her do it again..."

"Jackie was...afraid of heights..." Rarity sniffed.

"Fluttershy secretly cut herself..." Rainbow added, "Maybe that's why she had to stab herself..." Rainbow added.

"And Sunset and I have always feared hurting each other..." Twilight breathed, "Wait...if Pinkie was suicidal, and fears death then...her next dare will probably make her face it!"

Pinkie teared up again and looked away.

"What about you, Rares? Do you have some big secret or fear?" Rainbow asked, turning everyone's attention to her. It took her a while to answer, but she eventually tore her eyes from Applejack to face her friends.

"My worst fear had already come true, and my only secret was my love for her..." Rarity responded, her voice broken and hoarse.

Twilight placed a hand on her chest, "I... I really wish we had caught her...you...you love her so much...as much as I love Sunset and...here I am about to cheat on her..."

"Twilight look at me," Sunset commanded, turning Twilight to face her, "I'm never going to accuse you of cheating because of something this damn game is making you do! When you two go in there...just do enough to complete the dare, take a nap together so you technically 'slept' together...then Pinkie will have her turn, and round two is done."

Twilight nodded, and Rainbow looked to Pinkie,"...I'm with Sunset. I know you love me, and only me...so do what you have to," Pinkie smiled weakly and kissed Rainbow gently on the forehead.

"You can use my room..." Rarity muttered, and the two nodded before Rainbow stood on her crutches, and Twilight followed, holding the door open for her, before shutting the door behind the two, and turning the lock until a click was heard.

The two were quickly situated on the bed, wearing nothing but their bras and underwear. Rainbow had a quick run through with Twilight on how to "do it," before she pushed herself on top of Twilight, pressing her to the bed, "C-Careful of my hand and your leg..." Twilight whispered.

"I know..." Rainbow sighed as her magenta eyes met Twilight's lavender ones, "Ready?" She asked. Though she hesitated at first, Twilight eventually nodded, "Okay... I'll go until I make you cum, then we'll go to sleep, that'll be all we gotta do," Twilight nodded again then gasped when Rainbow kissed her, almost forcefully, and wrapped her arms around her neck. Though she didn't want to, she kissed Rainbow back, running her good hand through her hair. Rainbow smiled and pulled Twilight's body against her before taking her left hand and running it down Twilight's body until she reached her waist, "Take a deep breath, I'm trying to make this quick," Rainbow said as she pulled away.

"O-Okay..." Twilight took a deep breath and held it for a few seconds before exhaling. Rainbow took a breath herself before pushing Twilight's underwear down and positioning her hand ontop of her vagina.

"Since you're a virgin...this might hurt a little...but it's the quickest way to do this..." Twilight gulped but nodded. Rainbow brought her finger back a little, before thrusting it into Twilight. Not as hard as she could, but hard enough.

The mix of a scream and moan Twilight released was loud enough to hear throughout the house. It hurt Sunset and Pinkie, but there wasn't anything they could do but try to ignore it as they talked quietly about what they were going to do after the game was over.

Meanwhile, Twilight was panting hard. The strange combination of pain and pleasure she was feeling were strange, and guiltily, she was enjoying it. She moaned again when Rainbow wriggled her fingers around inside of her, though it wasn't as loud as the last one, "Come on Twi...as much as I hate to admit it...I've already come out...don't tell Pinkie but...you are kinda hot...but if we're gonna finish you have to cum too..." Her voice was barely a whisper, for fear of Pinkie or Sunset listening at the door.

Twilight gasped when Rainbow started to pull out, only to thrust in again, "I can't control that...I'm sorry...but you said that happens...from extreme pleasure so...just keep doing what you're doing...and I will...soon enough..." Rainbow nodded and pulled her fingers out, "Maybe this will help. I'm trying something new, and I want you to imagine it's Sunset touching you and doing this okay?"

"Okay..." Rainbow slowly scooted down, careful not to move her broken leg too much. She took a breath. What she was about to do she had only done it to Pinkie before this. She lowered her head licked her lips before placed her mouth on Twilight's clit and began sucking on it. Twilight gasped and squirmed a little, but Rainbow grabbed her legs and held her still. Twilight whimpered but kept still. Rainbow continued and readied herself, before sticking her tongue out, and into Twilight.

That was all it took. Twilight released a moan that topped all the others in volume as she felt herself climax, which landed all over Rainbow's face. Rainbow smiled and pulled out and away from Twilight and sat up before pushing herself and up laying by Twilight," Sorry Rares..." Rainbow said quietly as she wiped her face off with the sheets that messily laid on the bed around them. The latter giggled as she snuggled up to Rainbow.

"This is my bad hand..." She whispered as she laid it gently on Rainbow's chest. Nodding, the brash woman planted a final kiss on her friend's cheek, before they drifted off to sleep.

The sound of gentle knocking woke Twilight, "I think the dare is complete! Wake up!" Sunset's voice called.

"Hang on!" Twilight called back sleepily before she turned to Rainbow and shook her gently with her good hand, "Rainbow wake up..." She whispered.

"Ugh..." Rainbow groaned at first before rubbing her eyes and looking around, "Did we finish the dare...?"

"Yeah...let's get dressed and go back in the living room..." Twilight said before standing up. She quickly and carefully slipped her t-shirt and shorts on, before helping Rainbow with her jeans while she put on her shirt.

"Took you guys long enough! You slept for an hour!" Pinkie exclaimed when the two walked into the room.

"Sorry..." The two whispered together before sitting next to their girlfriends, making sure they were across the room from each other.

"Okay...well...Pinkie already...has her next dare..." Sunset began.

"What is it...?" Rainbow asked, remembering the conversation from earlier.

"I have to..." She points to a noose hanging from the ceiling.

"What?!"

"Only for a minute though..." Pinkie added, trying to make a deadly situation better.

"We've been trying to think of ways to safely do it..." Sunset sighed.

"Well...one minute isn't enough to kill her if we do it gently. But we have to be careful, very careful," Twilight warned as she stood up, though was still wobbly on her legs. She took Pinkie's hand and gently led her to the noose, "Once you get up there, keep your fingers looped around the rope so it doesn't completely restrain your neck okay? Someone get a timer ready,"

"I got it...please don't let her die Twi..." Rainbow said as she took her phone out.

"That's the plan, Dash..." Twilight helped Pinkie stand on the chair with her good hand. Sunset stepped up on a separate chair and took the noose in her hand and draped it over Pinkie's head.

"Grab onto the ropes Pinkie," Sunset instructed. Pinkie listened, then flinched when the noose tightened around her neck, "Okay...I'll hold onto her feet while you slide the chair out just enough okay Twi?"

Nodding, Twilight waited until Sunset had her arm tightly wound around Pinkie's feet and ankles, while Twilight pulled the chair out from under her. The sound of the chair leaving her made her whimper in fear, "It's okay Pinkie...we won't let you die..." Twilight assured.

"O-okay..."

"Start the timer Dash!" Sunset instructed, earning a nod in return.

"Done."

Sunset sat down and slowly released Pinkie from her grasp. Beginning to panic, Pinkie started moving her legs, looking for somewhere to put her feet, "Pinkie stop!" Twilight yelled, looking at her, "Stay still, face forward, hold the ropes, and you'll be fine! I promise!"

"O-O...Okay..." She whispered, and kept still, she stared up at Rainbow Dash, who, although was smiling encouragingly at her, had tears running down her face.

"Ten seconds left," Rainbow said after a moment.

"Get ready to cut her down, Twi," Sunset said, holding the chair, ready to push it below her friend's feet.

"Three...two...one! Get her down!" Rainbow yelled and the girls nodded. Pinkie sighed in relief when the chair's surface touched her feet. Twilight stood on the extra chair and loosened the noose from around Pinkie's neck, which had rope burns around it, as well as her hands. Pinkie jumped from the chair and ran to the couch in tears. She collapsed next to Rainbow and began crying in her arms, "Shh...it's okay...you're safe..." Rainbow whispered as she rubbed Pinkie's back in comfort.

"That's... That's it! One round left, and so far we've beaten the record of only three survivors," Sunset said.

"The record?!" Rarity screamed, looking away from Applejack to glare at her friend, "Is that what you're worried about?! Two of our friends are dead!!!"

"That's not what I-"

"Then what did you mean?!"

"I just meant that maybe we'll get lucky. Yes, we've lost two of the best friends ever...but it's over now...and we can't reverse it...so all we can do is...is move forward. They'd want us to live...so let's win this...this horrible game for them, okay?" Sunset didn't realize she had started crying until Twilight approached her and wiped her eyes.

"She's right...We can't lose anyone else...we can't!" Pinkie cried, wiping her eyes with a hand.

"Well, before we finish this game, let's go to the hospital and tell them what's going on..." Rainbow said.

"Tell them what? We played a game of truth or dare that possessed us and now two people are dead? They're gonna think we're crazy and that we did this!" Twilight objected.

"Well...what are we gonna do? We can easily say Sunset broke her hand trying to build something, and Twilight was practicing shooting and she accidentally shot herself. But we can't just hide the bodies somewhere! What about their families? They're gonna want to have a funeral. We gotta tell then something!" Rarity yelled, tearing up at the thought of attending her crush's funeral.

"What if they think we did this?!" Pinkie yelled.

"That's why we shouldn't tell them!" Rainbow added, her voice raised.

"We have to!" Rarity yelled, the three getting in each other's faces as they screamed and argued with each other, while Twilight stepped behind Sunset and looked at her, who had finally had enough.

"ENOUGH!" Sunset screamed, her voice echoing through the house. Instantly, everyone's eyes were on her, "Look, we're all stressed, we're all upset. But yelling is not gonna solve anything. Now here is what's going to happen: We are gonna go to the hospital, and get Twilight's hand and mine took care of, then I will show the investigator the article I read yesterday and tell them that this is what's going on."

"What if they don't believe you?" Rarity asked, loosely crossing arms with worry.

"That article was written by Manehatten Police Department, surely they'll listen," The girls all nodded, "Let's go," After everyone had left the room, Rarity crouched down for the final time next to Applejack.

"I'm sorry this happened to you...I love you so much...I hope to see you again soon..." Bending down, she planted a soft kiss on Applejack's cold, pale lips, "I love you..." She whispered before standing up and exiting the house, locking the door behind her, then joining her friends in Twilight's van, new tears running down her face.

Truth or Dare?

View Online

Once again, the girls found themselves in Canterlot Urgent Care ER. Only this time, there were five girls instead of seven. After getting a cast for her hand, Sunset went in to talk to the investigator while Twilight's hand was looked at.

"So you're saying that what happened was part of a game? Just like this passage written five years ago?"

"Yes!" Sunset replied, nodding her head.

"Okay...How about you tell me exactly what happened to kill your friends."

"Applejack was dared to walk the perimeter of the roof while it was wet. She did it but slipped at the last minute and banged her head, it knocked her out. We tried catching her with the mattress we had out but we missed and she hit the ground. Guess it didn't help the one aiming only has one eye. As for Fluttershy, she was dared to stab herself to the hilt with a knife. We think she accidentally hit an artery. Rainbow said they were talking during Applejack's dare and she said Fluttershy told her that she was feeling tired and she laid down and never woke up. She was gone by the time Rainbow was able to alert us."

"Rainbow is the girl on crutches right?"

"Yes."

"Alright...Well then... All I need to know now is who 'dared' those two to do those things. Those are who we're gonna hold accountable."

"Look none of us did! The game did! I know it sounds crazy but I'm telling the truth! There's nobody to blame but the game!"

"That's ridiculous."

"I know it sounds that way, but you weren't there when it happened. The game makes us do us do these things or it kills us. I don't expect you to do anything about it, but we didn't want to just bury the bodies either."

"Good choice. Now then. If that's really the story you're going with, then I'm gonna leave it as two more accidents," Sunset sighed and nodded before standing up and leaving the room to join her friends.

"How's Twilight?" Sunset asked as she entered the room.

"Fine, I guess. She should be out soon," Rainbow replied, "What did they say?"

"I told them everything but... It's still just an 'accident.'"

"Seriously? Well, I guess it's better than us getting in trouble when it's not our fault," Pinkie added.

"What about the last round? This is supposed to be the most deadly of them all, and Twilight is the only one with a truth option left!" Rainbow exclaimed.

"Then she'll go last," Sunset said before looking at her watch,"We have a little less than a day left to finish this, so we'll go to my house since they'll probably be quarantining Rarity's house off," Everyone nodded, and continued to think of what dares they could get and how to safely do them, until Twilight came out ten minutes later.

"They got the bullet out and I have to wear this cast for six months," Twilight explained as she approached her friends and sat next to Sunset.

"I only have to wear mine for three," Sunset chuckled and Twilight stuck her tongue out at her.

That night the girls stayed in Sunset's apartment, trying to be as cheerful as they could by playing board games or video games. They ordered pizza and watched several movies.

During their third film Beauty and the Beast (Live Action), Twilight noticed Rarity laying on the bed, facing the wall. She stood carefully, "Be right back," she whispered to Sunset before walking over to the bed and sitting by Rarity, "It's gonna be alright... I promise..." She whispered to Rarity, adjusting her glasses as she rubbed her friend's back gently.

"You wouldn't be saying that if it were Sunset that died today," Rarity said coldly, rolling her eyes as she wiped more tears from her face.

Twilight sighed, "I know... but it will be... You just need time..."

"I think you four need to at least show some sympathy for our friends!"

"We are. Just in a different way than crying. We're watching Fluttershy's favorite movie right now while drinking apple cider, AJ's favorite drink. And you should know Rainbow's been crying over Flutters all evening, just like you have for AJ. "

Rarity sighed, "Right... I'm sorry for yelling I'm just upset..."

"We all are... feel free to join us," Twilight finished before standing and walking back to Sunset, who wrapped her arm around her. Twilight relaxed and closed her eyes, and before she knew it, she was fast asleep.

Round III

View Online

"I don't want to play this game anymore..." Pinkie pouted as she pulled her legs against her chest and wrapping her arms around her legs.

"We're almost done Pinkie. This is the last round, and since you were last you can ask first," Sunset said encouragingly. The girls were all sitting on the floor in a small circle; with the exception of Rainbow, who was laying on the couch with her leg propped up with pillows.

"Alright...uhm... Sunset...truth or dare?"

Sunset sighed, "Dare," she replied, picking up a card and reading it,"'Play a game of Russian Roulette. Seven slots, five shots, one bullet.'"

"There are five shots so we can all do one," Twilight said, the other's nodding in agreement.

"But where's our gun-" Sunset started but stopped when a gun and bullet was at her side,"-Nevermind..." She sighed and picked up the gun and bullet. Slipping the bullet in one of the slots and closing it, she spun the reel,"I'll go first. If you think the bullet is in yours, shoot it away from us. The others nodded as the amber woman took a deep breath before pressing the gun to her temple. Without much hesitation, she pulled the trigger, only for a click to be heard. Sighing in relief, she passed the gun to Pinkie, who was on her right. Pinkie stared at the gun for a moment before putting the barrel to her head.

"Don't shoot if you're unsure Pinkie," Rainbow warned.

"I know..." Pinkie held her breath as she pulled the trigger.

Click.

Pinkie passed the gun to Rarity. Who put the gun to her head and pulled the trigger.

Click.

Nobody was sure if she wanted her turn to have the bullet, or if she just wanted to get her turn over with. Either way, Pinkie was quick to take the gun away and pass it to Rainbow, "So...the bullet with either is in mine...Twi's...or what would have been AJ or Shy's turn...that's one in four..."

"If you're unsure shoot away from us...that's how the game works," Twilight explained, adjusting her glasses as she laid her head on Sunset's shoulder.

Rainbow pointed the gun at her head but at the last minute turned it toward the kitchen and shot.

Click.

Rainbow sighed and handed Twilight the gun, "The game is trying to eliminate everyone but one...the bullet has to be in mine..." Twilight said. She aimed the gun at the kitchen, just like Rainbow and tried to pull the trigger, but it wouldn't budge, "I can't...shoot it..." Twilight gasped after a moment, "The game...it won't let me...the bullet's in mine," Sunset's eyes widened as tears ran down Twilight's face and she placed the gun to her head.

"Twilight no!" Sunset yelled.

"I don't have a choice..."

Sunset went to grab the gun, but Rarity beat her to it. Snatching the gun Rarity backed up away from her friends, "You all...have someone...you deserve to live and be happy...I lost my true love...and now I'm going to see her again," Rarity said before aiming the gun at her head.

"Rarity no!!!" The girls yelled, but it was too late. Before they could get to her, Rarity had pulled the trigger.

The echoes of the gunshot ran through the apartment as Rarity's lifeless body fell to the floor. Tears ran down everyone's faces, especially Twilight's, "She...she gave her life for me..." She whispered, touched at the sentiment, but heartbroken at its cost.

"Something tells me...she was gonna do that anyway...even if she won..." Pinkie said as she wiped her eyes, her voice hoarse.

"Let's... Let's finish...then we'll...we'll reunite her with Applejack... I'll see to it myself she and AJ are buried next to each other," Sunset said, her voice trembling with sadness, "Truth or dare, Rainbow?"

"Dare..." Rainbow was handed a card,'"Drink,'" Rainbow looked up at the shot glass on the table that held a small amount of liquid, "What is it, Twi?" Rainbow asked.

After examining it, Twilight sighed, "It's cyanide. There's not much, but more than enough to kill you. Here's what we do. We spilt it four ways, drink it, then throw it up, just like with the blood Friday night," Sunset nodded and walked into the kitchen and brought back three more shot glasses, and let Twilight divide it up, and pass the cups to each of them. There was barely even a sip in each glass, "Okay ready...?" Twilight asked, looking at everyone, who nodded, "Okay...go!" The girls quickly chugged the poison, letting it start down their throats before they all rushed to the bathroom or kitchen and threw up the contents they had just consumed. Well, except for Rainbow who couldn't get up in time and puked on the floor.

After cleaning up their messes, they returned to their small circle in the living room, "Okay...Pinkie...truth or dare?" Rainbow asked.

"Dare!" Pinkie exclaimed, happy this was her final challenge as she picked up a card and read it,"'Pick one,' Huh?" Pinkie turned to the table, where three small pills sat on a plate, and a glass of water stood beside it.

"If I had to bet, one of those has poison in it," Twilight guessed, and a few seconds later, everyone's phones lit up.

One is poisoned. The rest are Ibeprophen.

Pinkie gulped, "I'm on my own aren't I?"

"Unfortunately..." Sunset responded, biting her lip.

"But they all look exactly the same!" Rainbow yelled.

"It's a game of chance, Rainbow..." Twilight said, "I might be able to figure out which one is clean...but what if I'm wrong?"

"Well, as you said, it's a game of chance. I have a one in three chance of coming out alive at this point. If you could increase those chances even a little. I'm willing to trust you," Pinkie said, a small smile on her face. Twilight didn't have to say anything to see the fear in her friend's eyes.

"Okay...go...go to Rainbow...be with her...in case it's the last time..." Twilight whispered, holding back tears. Pinkie nodded and walked to her girlfriend and pulled her into her arms, before kissing her gently. The two had tears running down their faces as they embraced each other.

Meanwhile, Twilight took a deep breath as she looked over each of the small, circular pills. She smelled each of them, testing if she could find any trace of poison, but found none. She checked the numbers on the pills to see if one was different, but they weren't. They were just three, circular, white pills; all exactly the same.

After a final hug and kiss, Pinkie looked to Twilight, "Well...?"

Twilight only shook her head, "I can't tell any difference... I'm sorry...just...go with your gut...that's all I can tell you..." Twilight said sadly as she stood up and backed up next to Sunset. Pinkie gulped before standing, but before she could advance, Rainbow grabbed her hand.

"I love you..." Rainbow whispered.

"I love you too..." Pinkie replied, she bent down and kissed Rainbow one last time before walking to the table.

Before her was a glass of water and three pills. Taking a deep breath, she took the pill from the middle and popped it in her mouth, using the water provided and drinking enough to swallow the pill. After a moment of nothing happening. They all smiled, "I think I'm okay...?" Pinkie asked, then her phone lit up. After checking her message she gasped, and teared up, however, before she could say a word, she collapsed, "I love...you...Dashie..." She managed before she closed her eyes; Pinkie Pie was gone.

"No!" Rainbow screamed, throwing herself off the couch and on top of Pinkie, despite her broken leg screaming at her to stop, but she didn't care. She couldn't let her girlfriend die. She couldn't, "Pinkie please...!" Rainbow cried as tears ran down her face. She checked for a pulse, but there wasn't one. Twilight, eyes full of tears, picked up Pinkie's phone and read the message silently. She gasped, "Wha...What's it s-say, T...Twi?"

"All the pills were clean. It was the water that was poisoned."

Rainbow growled in anger, "You didn't think to check that Twilight?!"

"I didn't think to! It said the pills!"

"Technically, it said one was poisened. We just didn't pay enough attention..." Sunset added quietly, tears running down her face.

"That was just wrong...is the game even allowed to do that...?" Rainbow asked.

"I...well...we can't do anything now..." Twilight sighed.

"Yes, we can, Twilight! Don't say that! We can...we can pump her stomach! If the water is what was poisoned and we get it out then...then we can save her!" Rainbow yelled desperately.

"That's...that's a valid point! Come on let's get her to the hospital!" The lavender woman exclaimed with a hopeful smile.

Twilight, Sunset, and Rainbow stood outside of Pinkie's room, watching her go from her stomach be pumped to CPR. She was still flatlining, and every moment of that cursed straight beep hurt them, especially Rainbow, "Real quick...Twilight, truth or dare? You're the last one," Sunset whispered.

"Truth," Twilight replied, and Sunset pulled a card from her jacket and handed it to her,"'Tell who you love most,'" The sentence made Rainbow and Sunset look at Twilight in surprise, "What? It's hard not to love the person I gave my virginity too..."

"Well...you aren't..." Sunset stiffened and nearly choked on her words.

"Of course not. I love you more than anything, Sunset Shimmer, but I also love Rainbow Dash too, just not as much as ai do you."

Sunset waited for their phones to light up, to be told that Twilight was lying, but it never did. She smiled at Twilight and pulled her into a kiss, "I love you too..."

Suddenly, a loud gasp and coughing was heard, causing everyone to look toward Pinkie, who was in a sitting position, "What ...did....win?" She stuttered, looking around, breathing hard.

"Pinkie Pie!!!" The three exclaimed as they rushed forward and fell into a group hug.

"How...?" Pinkie asked, smiling, as she pressed her cheek against Rainbow's.

"Since the water was what was poisoned, we figured to bring you here, and that pumping your stomach would help. Well, Rainbow did. Guess you could say she saved your life," Twilight explained as she and Sunset pulled away.

"Oh, Dashie! I thought I'd lost you!" She exclaimed, wrapping her arms around her lover's neck.

"I thought I'd lost you!" Rainbow replied, taking Pinkie's hand in her own and pressing it to her chest.

"What about Rarity and the girls...?"

Their faces fell at Pinkie's question, "Right...let's... Make sure you're okay first...then worry about them..."

"Wait! What about Twilight's last turn?"

"Don't worry Pinkie...she used her truth and is finished. The game is over," Rainbow said with a sigh of relief.

"Ooh! What was her truth?"

"Nothing!!!" The three said together, making the hospitalized woman arch an eyebrow in confusion, then she shrugged.

"Okie dokie lokie!"

The next week was hard on the four young women. A huge funeral was held for their three deceased friends.

As promised, Sunset made sure Rarity and Applejack were buried next to each other. Fluttershy was placed by Rarity, keeping them all together, their spirits of friendship spreading a sort of positive aura over the area.

The four girls visited their friends every week with new bouquets of flowers for each of them. They shared stories and did their best to make it feel like they were still alive and with them physically, not just mentally.

They told the three about Rainbow's amazingly fast healing of her leg, the engagement of Pinkie and Rainbow that took place four months after the game. Seven months after that, Sunset proposed to Twilight, and the four had a double wedding a year later, bringing them all even closer together.

They never spoke of the game again, their only reminders of it being their weekly visitation to their friends' graves, where tears were shed, but memories were made as well. In a way, they were all still together, and nothing could ever separate them.
