Quickbolt wants to re-connect with his old friend, Sonic the Hedgehog, and asks Twilight to teleport him to Sonic. But when the teleportation goes wrong, they could be stuck there forever.
Quickbolt paced around his living room. He had gotten bored and wanted to re-connect with one of his old friends from middle school. He had been sitting in his living room for 3 days now. He decided to finally call one of his friends. He dialed the number and waited for an answer. "Hello?" The person said. "Sonic?" Quickbolt asked as he sat back down on his couch. "The one and only!" Sonic sounded alot more mature than back in the day. "I haven't said a WORD to you in forever!" Quickbolt chuckled. "Yep!" Sonic sounded like he was outside wherever he was. "Any new friends?" Quickbolt asked, eager to see if they could chat with him for a minute. "I have alot more so you gotta come here to meet 'em." Quickbolt then lost connection and hung up. A lightbulb when off in his head and he bolted to straight to Twilight's Library. He flung the door open. "Twilight." Quickbolt ran over to her. "I need you to teleport me somewhere." He scanned the books to see if there was a teleporting related one. "And where would that be?" Twilight was still focused on studying. "Sonictopia." Quickbolt stopped scanning the books. Twilight stopped studying and turned around. "Where?" Twilight looked for a teleporting book. Quickbolt saw a book on Sonictopia and handed it to her. "Here?" Twilight started reading through the book. Quickbolt nodded, exhausted. Twilight saw a teleporting spell in the book. "There might be a problem." Twilight closed the book. "What would that be?" Quickbolt got up. "We need some stuff to make it work." Twilight put the book back. "And what is this 'stuff'?" Quickbolt paced around the room. "We need a pegasus feather." Twilight picked up the book and looked through it again. "Some magic dust from a unicorn horn." Twilight put the 2 things into a portal base. "And a hedgehog spine." Twilight put the book away again. "Where in Equestria are we gonna find that?" Quickbolt walked back over to Twilight. "Good question."
Twilight paced around the room trying to think of where they could find a hedgehog spine. Quickbolt knew where, but wanted to see if Twilight knew. "Why don't we see if Fluttershy can help!" Quickbolt said like he had just thought of it. "Good idea!" Twilight ran out the door and went to Fluttershy's cabin, Quickbolt following close behind. When they arrived Quickbolt went to fling open the door but Twilight stopped him and gently knocked. Fluttershy opened the door slowly. "Hi Twilight!" She stood up and smiled. She caught a glimpse of Quickbolt and slammed the door shut. "She's still not used to me." He just stood there. "Yeah, kinda." Twilight walked in the door after Fluttershy. "God damnit." He waited for Twilight to come back out. He snuck in to see what was taking Twilight so long. He saw Twilight running after a hedgehog with tweezers. Fluttershy chased after them. "Be careful, Twilight." She said softly. Twilight grabbed the hedgehog and plucked a spine off. "Thanks Fluttershy." Twilight said as she walked out the door. Quickbolt flew out the door and acted like he just stood there the whole time. They headed back to the library and put the hedgehog spine by the rest of the stuff. Twilight horn flashed for half of a second and the stuff dissapeared and in its place was a portal. "I can't wait to see Sonic again." He flew into the portal. "Does sound fun." Twilight said sadly. "You know what?" She asked herself. "I'll go with him!" She ran into the portal and teleported onto the sidewalk in a different world. Quickbolt was looking around, enjoying the scenery. Twilight got up and walked over next to him. "Time to find Sonic!" He turned to his left and fell over. "Twilight?" He got up. "What?" She turned to where she had landed from the teleportation. "Why are you here?" Quickbolt looked to where he had landed. "It sounded like fun!" Twilight sounded proud of herself." Quickbolt let out a heavy sigh. "Whatever, lets go." He walked over to Sonic's house. Twilight ran to catch up with him. He noticed Sonic with a two-tailed animal in a field. Him and Twilight ran over to him. "Sonic!" Quickbolt shook his hand. "Hey!" Sonic patted the animal on the head. "This is my buddy, Tails, and who is that?" Sonic looked over to Twilight. "I'm Twilight Sparkle." She shook Tails' hand. "Well, well." A deep voice came from behind. "Another visit with the faker." Sonic turned around. "Now isn't the time, Shadow." Shadow walked over to him. "I'd love to meet these 2, then." He said, trying to be sarcastic. "Well I'm Quickbolt, and she is Twilight!" Quickbolt said while Twilight compared Sonic and Shadow. "Its almost unreal." Twilight took a notepad and wrote down 'Two hedgehogs look-alike.' "What?" Sonic tried to look at the notepad. "Nothing." Twilight tried to act normal. "Well we gotta roll." Sonic started revving his legs and Tails flew up. "Us too, catch ya later." Sonic and Tails ran off and Twilight and Quickbolt ran back into town. They noticed an apartment complex and they got an apartment. Quickbolt split the apartment into sides. "You stick to your side, I stick to mine." He said before he walked out the door. Quickbolt walked over to Sonic's house. He knocked on the door a few times. He heard footsteps and the door opened. No-one was there. Weird. He walked in and saw a pink shadow in a dark hallway. He walked slowly through the darkness and saw a pink animal. "Hello there." It said. It turned around and saw Quickbolt. "Oh." It giggled. "Your not Sonic." Quickbolt looked at it like it was crazy. "Nice observation, Sherlock." He walked closer to it. "My name isn't Sherlock, I'm Amy Rose, you can call me Amy." Amy pulled out her hammer. "And who are you?" She let out a evil giggle. "I'm Quickbolt, one of Sonic's old friends." He backed up a bit. "Oh, sorry, I'm a bit over protective with Sonic." She put her hammer away. "You must be Sonic's girlfriend." Quickbolt looked around. "Yep, thats me." She said happily. Quickbolt heard the door open. He saw Sonic's shadow coming towards them.
"Amy?!" Sonic took a step back. "What are you doing here?!" Sonic backed up into a wall. "I came for you, my Sonic." Amy giggled. "I'm not dating you!" Sonic tried to look for a place to hide from Amy. "What is this all about?" Quickbolt walked over to Sonic. "That obssesed FREAK!" Sonic shouted and pointed to Amy. "Sonic, its not polite to point." Amy crossed her arms. Quickbolt stood there, silent. "I'll, uh, get going then." He slowly walked to the door. When he got there it flung open and squished against the wall. "Sonic, the master emerald is gone!" A red echidna walked over to Sonic. "It must be Eggman!" Sonic walked towards Amy. "Amy!" He grabbed her hammer. "I'm gonna need this." Amy snatched it back. "Oh, no, your not." Amy walked over to the door. "You two-" Amy was cut off by Quickbolt. "Three!" He put up three fingers. He shouted and fell to the ground. "WHAT THE HELL?!" He looked at his hands. "WHERE THE HELL DID THESE COME FROM?!" Sonic laughed. "Everyone here has hands, and you lost your wings!" Sonic looked at where Quickbolt's wings used to be. "What about Twilight?" He got up and walked over to Sonic. "She lost her horn and she's a hedgehog, too!" Sonic seemed like he was happy about it. "WE WON'T BE ABLE TO GET BACK TO EQUESTRIA, SONIC!!" He shouted. "DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!" Quickbolt looked down at his feet. "Don't answer that, just give me shoes." He sighed. Sonic went to his closet and grabbed some shoes out. "Their for sale and they are mint condition gliding shoes!" He handed him the shoes. "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!" He threw $100 dollars at Sonic. "Fair enough." Sonic tossed the money in his shoe. Thde echidna stood there just tapping his foot. "Oh, right, Quickbolt this is Knuckles, Knuckles, Quickbolt." Sonic walked to the door. "We don't have any time to lose!" Quickbolt went back to the apartment to check on Twilight. He took a deep breath and opened the door. He saw Twilight pacing around the room whilst holding her head. "Your horn is gone, isn't it?" Twilight nodded because she was too shocked to speak. "And we can't get back home." Twilight nodded once more. "And were hedgehogs." Twilight nodded again. "Well I'm gonna go save the world with Knuckles and Sonic!" Twilight froze. "Who is Knuckles?" She walked over to Quickbolt. "He's Sonic's friend, he is an echidna." Quickbolt explained to Twilight. "I'll come with you, then." Twilight walked outside. "TO SAVE THE WORLD!" She shouted. "WOULD YOU SHUT UP!" Shadow shouted from his house window. Twilight covered her mouth. "You guys comin'?!" Sonic looked back at them. Quickbolt and Twilight ran over to Sonic. Quickbolt and the gang walked for hours and still didn't see anything. Quickbolt finally found something, a letter! "Hey guys, a letter!" He read it aloud. "To whomever may find this: I am planning to launch a missle over your pathetic little Sonictopia. Stop me if you can!" Quickbolt closed the letter and looked over to Sonic. Sonic ran as fast as he could but Quickbolt caught up in a few seconds. Knuckles and Twilight ran together so they didn't lose eachother. The gang ran until they saw what looked like a metal planet shaped like a human face in the sky. "The Death Egg." Sonic looked up to it. "Death?" Quickbolt looked over to Sonic. Sonic nodded and pulled out a phone. Sonic called Tails and Tails took them up there in the Tornado. When they got to the front of the ship they noticed there wasn't a way in. Tails flew away in the helicopter. "Now to find a way in" Quickbolt started tapping his foot.
Quickbolt, Sonic, Twilight, and Knuckles searched for an entrance to the Death Egg, but they searched the whole outside, no door. Sonic was thinking about a way to get in other than blowing up a hole in the wall like he usually would. Quickbolt tried to break the wall. Twilight and Knuckles waited next to eachother. Sonic found a window hidden on the side of the Death Egg. "Twilight, Quickbolt, Knux!" Sonic shouted. "I found an opening!" The other three were there in an instant. Sonic broke the window and the 4 of them went in. Sonic looked around the Death Egg but they couldn't find Eggman. Just a control pad. Wait. A control pad?! They saw a countdown for the missle on the wall. They had 10 minutes to stop the missle. Sonic tried to break the control pad but even he couldn't do so. They heard a evil laugh from behind them "Your too late!" Eggman said. "The missle will launch in 10 minutes and its completely Sonic-proof!" Eggman laughed again. Shadow walked in behind Eggman. "The faker showed up." Shadow crossed his arms. "Is Shadow evil, Sonic?" Quickbolt turned to the blue hedgehog. "Yea, he sure is, but I thought you were dead, Shadow." Sonic walked over to the black hedgehog. "Well you thought wrong." Shadow pulled out a gun. "Goodbye, faker." Shadow put his finger on the trigger. "No." Quickbolt jumped in front of Sonic right before Shadow pulled the trigger. The bullet sunk into Quickbolt's head. "Damn, I'm out of bullets." Shadow put his gun away. "Bolt!!" Sonic grabbed him. Twilight and Knuckles ran over to Sonic. Sonic teared up. He wiped the tears and ran at Shadow. "YOU KILLED HIM!" Sonic rammed into Shadow at full speed. Shadow went flying across the room. Eggman laughed. "You only have 5 minutes to live, Sonic!" He grabbed a remote control with 1 button. Sonic ran over to the controls for the missle and blew it up. "Or I could end it right now!" Eggman started to push the button but Sonic snatched it out of his hands. Sonic set the remote on the ground and spin dashed it. Sonic noticed a purple gem caught in Quickbolt's chest. "A chaos emerald!" Sonic shouted as he reached for it. "CHAOS CONTROL!" Shadow teleported and grabbed the emerald. "I now have the 7 emeralds!" Shadow tossed them in the air. Sonic ran over next to Shadow as the emeralds activated. Sonic and Shadow started floating. A large flash filled the room and Sonic and Shadow turned super. Sonic looked down and noticed a familiar blue blob and a familiar metal copy of him. "Metal Sonic, Chaos?" Sonic flew over to Twilight and Knuckles. Chaos formed into Chaos 0 and Metal Sonic nodded. "I have come once again to prove I am the REAL Sonic!" Metal Sonic charged at Sonic. Sonic flew up before Metal Sonic hit him and Metal Sonic instead rammed into Knuckles. Knuckles crashed into the wall. "Thats it." Knuckles charged at Metal Sonic and punched him as hard as he could. One of Metal Sonic's arms bent in a way its not supposed to. Shadow tossed the 7 chaos emeralds to Chaos. "Use these, Chaos!" Shadow flew over to Chaos. Chaos swallowed the Chaos Emeralds and broke the Death Egg. They fell back down into the city and Chaos caused a humongous wave of goop to cover the town. Sonic tried to hit Chaos but he needed a Ring Of Order. He wondered where he could get one. Before he could finish thinking Chaos made the wave get even bigger. A lightbulb went off in Sonic's head. He flew over to Evergreen and looked for the Ring Shop. When he got to the shop he grabbed a Ring Of Order and flew back to Chaos. Sonic squeezed the ring as hard as he could and the ring cut through Chaos' head, snapping Chaos' brain in two. Metal Sonic grabbed the emeralds from Chaos and became Metal Madness. Tails saw Metal Madness and came to fight with Sonic. Knuckles glided up to them. Tails and Knuckles became super. Metal Madness spit ice missles at them and the three broke through the ice. They charged enough energy to Team Blast and Metal Madness turned back into Metal Sonic. "Why couldn't I beat you?" Metal Sonic said as he got up. "Because, were Sonic Heroes!" The group high-fived. "Don't ever say that line again." Shadow said, ruining the moment. Sonic grabbed the emeralds and flew over to Quickbolt's body. Sonic sat the emeralds around the body. A green light flashed and Quickbolt started floating. He landed on the ground on all fours. "W-what happened?" He sat down. He stood up quickly. He looked at his hands and in their place were hooves. "I'm cured!" He said with glee. "If it worked for you it should work on Twilight!" Tails grabbed the emeralds and ran over to Twilight. He sat the emeralds in front of Twilight. A purple light flashed and Twilight turned back into a pony and got her horn back. "It worked!" Twilight looked at the emeralds. Quickbolt flew over to Twilight. "We better get going!" Quickbolt tore a feather off and sat it on the ground. Twilight put some magic dust on the feather. "Alright, bud!" Sonic waved goodbye to them. "Hey Sonic!" Quickbolt shouted to him. "Could we have one of your spines?" Quickbolt looked at the 2 ingredients for the portal that were on the ground. Sonic dashed over to them and put a spine in the pile. A portal then formed on the ground. "Nice meeting all of you!" Twilight said as she jumped in the portal. "This is goodbye, I guess." Quickbolt shook Sonic's hand. "For now." Sonic said as he walked back over to Knuckles. "DID ALL OF YOU FORGET ME?!" Shadow shouted. "Damn, they did." Shadow slouched home. Quickbolt jumped into the portal and re-appeared in Twilight's Library. "That was fun." Twilight said as she sat back down to study. "I think you mean just down right weird." Quickbolt walked over to the door. "That too." Twilight got back to reading. "Cya!" Quickbolt opened the door. "Goodbye." Twilight was fully focused on reading. Quickbolt left the library and went back home. "I forgot I still have these damn shoes on." He threw the shoes at the wall and not a single damn about those shoes was given in Equestria.
