15 years have passed and the Young Six are ready to graduate, but Cozy Glow is ready for another attempt to rule Equestria
15 years after Cozy Glows defeat. She is ready to return to Equestria and reclaim her rightful throne as the Queen of Friendship. And this time she'll steal more than just magic. With Tirek's help there is no way she can be stopped.
15 years have gone by ever since Cozy Glow was defeated. Everyone moved on with their lives. Especially the young six. Excited for graduation day, the auditorium was looking just great. Today will be the day that everyone will remember something great happened and not reminisce about Cozy Glow. Back in the dorm room of the young six Gallus couldn't stop thinking about what happened on this very day and decided to ask the question to his friends.
"Hey everyone. Do you think that Cozy Glow will come back and this seek revenge on us? Since we did you know stop her plan from consuming all the magic in Equestria.
"Your still on that Gallus? That was like 15 years ago. She is not coming out of Taurus no matter what she tries. Great now you got me thinking of her. Don't you remember she tried to make everyone hate us just because of our disadvantages. We really thought she was our friend." Smolder says while laying upside down on the edge of her bed.
"Yeah, but don't villians usually find a way out of their prison? I mean what if she had all that time to come up with an escape plan and our graduation day is going to be the day when she comes back. We should be worried. Right? Ocellus back me up here."
"Uh, Gallus? I think your thinking way too much into this. You should relax and get ready for graduation."
"I don't need to relax. Though it was pretty cool that we saved Equestria for the first time."
"Yona liked it best when Yona saved councilor Starlight."
"Um, Yona. We all saved her."
"Not in Yona's mind."
Spike walks past their room overhearing their conversation and decided to drop in. "Remember when you all thought that you all would graduate if you all defeated one villain. I tried to tell you y'all wouldn't, but look at you guys now. Getting ready to graduate. I'm so proud of you all. See you all at the ceremony."
"Thanks Spike." Ocellus blushes
"Let's just hope something or someone doesn't come along and ruin the ceremony. It just seems like every time we get to celebrate something, some creature or some evil monster comes along and ruins it. Let's hope not." Gallus talks to himself over by the window.
Over in Tartarus, Cozy Glows plans her escape and scheme for when she gets out. The other creatures look scared and worried as they're hiding in the back of their cages. Tirek however, talks the plan over so that Cozy knows just what to do when they both get out. Getting annoyed with how much he's talking Cozy tries to ignore the horrid sounds coming from his mouth.
"So here's what we're going to do. We need a really powerful artifact we can use to absorb all the magic in Equestria. I don't suppose you have one in that hair of yours?" Tirek reaches for Cozy's mane
"And why would have anything in my mane? What pony would put artifacts in her mane?"
"You know that pink pony that was here with me. What was her name? Pink Cake? Something like that."
"Oh, Pinkie Pie. Whatever, let's not talk about them. I want to get revenge on Twilight and her ridiculous friends also those creatures who foiled my plan. Are you with me or not?"
"I hear you loud and clear. But if you were looking for some powerful artifact and can indeed show you to my lair. I have all kinds of evil artifacts in there, which I got from a warlock. All we need to do is get out here and I can take you to it."
"Fine. It's a promise then. And I have just the thing to get us out of here." Cozy plucks a feather from her wing and puts the tip inside the lock to unlock it, but notices the griffins lock that professor Rainbow Dash told her class when she was on that Daring Doo adventure. She carefully examines the lock while places the pieces in the correct order. "Click!" The lock opens up as Cozy pushes her cage door open.
"Wait? You could've used your feather all along? Why did it take you so long to so? We've could've been out."
"I needed time to plan my next scheme, and I have so now I shall set us free. Only if you promise to take me to your secret lair."
"Of course. We're in this together are we not? I mean if your going to drain Equestria of it's magic might as well have an artifact that does all the dirty work for you."
"I guess so. Fine, I'll let you out."
As Cozy Glow lets out Tirek they both agreed to help each other out to take over Equestria. Tirek heads over to Klugetown where his secret lair is at. A dark dismal underground cave that the creatures of Klugetown are too afraid to snoop inside of. Hearing the the sound of water droplets falling from the cracks up above them to the puddles of water on the ground is giving Cozy butterflies in her stomach.
"Your not scared are you...pony?"
"No, I'm not. Just keep moving."
"Suite yourself." As they enter what it seems to be a dead end, Tirek pulling back camouflage curtains reveling the secrecy of his lair. Catching a glimps of all the artifacts he has Cozy's mind had so many plans, so many thoughts just running wild through her little head.
"This is too perfect. We can use these artifact as back up just in case if plan A doesn't go as planned. I'm going to enjoy myself." A bright magenta light catches Cozy's eye in the distance as she walks closer to it. "Is this what I think it is?"
"That's right. Thats the orb of power. You can use to place all Equestrian magic inside it. All you gotta do is find the source that all magic connects to. I don't suppose you know any souces. Do you?"
"Well indeed I do. And I think I'll have to do some sneaky assassin work to the school of friendship." She laughs manically while giving an evil smile just before the scene ends.
Two hours before the ceremony begins. The young six and the other graduates get dresses in their cap and gowns. Rarity does everyone hair making them look fabulous. Going over the plan with Tirek, Cozy Glow gets ready to sneak into the School of Friendship while Tirek goes over the Tree of friendship and plant the orb of banishment. That way if one way fails there be another way to absorb all the magic in Equestria.
"All right Tirek. You understand the plan right?
"Of course. It's not everyday I get to absorb all the magic in Equestria with a pony. Hehe."
"Come on you dingus."
Cozy and Tirek make their way over to fulfill their mission. Back at the School, the young six and the other graduates make there way down the aisle. Seeing their mothers and fathers even the other leaders of the different tribes. Parents crying as they watch their children walk to the graduation song as it plays. The mane six waiting for the graduates to take their seats. Princess Twilight starts her speech as she takes out her flash cards and clears her throat.
"Today is the fun part, however the past few years have seen the graduates work exceptionally hard. All of us working here very much remember the young children who started school looking somewhat overwhelmed by the whole experience. We are the lucky ones who have had the privilege of helping you with your educational growth. Also we have watched your parents support you with everything you did. I am the Princess of Friendship and it is my job to lead by an example of what friendship means to every pony or rather every creature. Yes it is up to myself and the faculty to teach you all about friendship, but it is also up to you all to teach us what you know about friendship. That is why I am honored to give you all these diploma's and announce you Official Graduates of the School of Friendship. I shall call you all up on stage one by one for each of you to receive your diploma's."
Underneath the School Cozy Glow makes her way to the source of magic where she held Starlight and planted the artifact and watched as all the magic started getting absorbed right into it. Tirek has done the same with the Tree of Harmony, locking the second orb into place, but he also decided to smash the elements. Without the elements it will be faster for the orb to absorb the magic from the tree and from Equestria. He grabbed the biggest boulder he could find and threw it at the elements. Without the elements to protect the tree Equestria will suffer. And with no magic, Equestria won't be the same.
"Gallus! Congratulations. You did it." Twilight hands over the diploma to Gallus, but before he could take it falls to the stage floor.
"What? I didn't drop that.
"Maybe your spell failed . Didn't that happen 15 years ago when Cozy Glow wanted to rid Equestria of it's magic."
"Uh oh. You don't think that Cozy Glow escaped do you?" Ocellus says in a panicked tone.
"What? No way. It's been 15 years. If she really wanted to take over Equestria she would've done it already. Right headmare Twilight?"
"If she did there's no telling where she went or where she would be hiding. I can try contacting the Princess and have them keep a look out for Cozy Glow or Tirek."
"We should check the cave that's underneath the school."
"Good thinking Starlight. I'll go with you to make sure everything is safe and sound. Fluttershy and the others stay up here and finish the ceremony."
"You can count on us Twi."
Twilight and Starlight head down to the cave underneath the school and notice a bright light coming from down the tunnel. They walk towards the light and notice a great big ball of magic and an artifact that seems to be sucking absorbing it.
"Twilight, what is this?"
"I have no idea...wait, this looks like the orb of absorption. It can suck up anything even magic."
"But who put this here?"
"I'm not sure, but we should break it."
"On it." Starlight steps on the orb smashing it to bits releasing the magic that signifies a job well done, but from down below Twilight and Starlight can hear the cries of the ponies in the auditorium. Twilight teleports them back up with the little magic she has left in her horn to see what's going on.
"Guys what's going on? Why is every pony screaming?"
"It's the unicorns. Their saying their magic is gone. Even Rarity can't do any spells."
"It's truuueeee. My magic is gonnneee." Rarity says crying
"Did you and Starlight figure out whats going on?" Applejack is concerned
"We did. Some pony used the orb of absorption. It can absorb just about anything even magic. But Starlight destroyed it so doesn't that mean everything should be alright? I can't think of any other place where magic can be drawn."
"What about the Tree of Harmony?" Rainbow Dash suggests
"The Tree! I totally forget. We should go and check on it."
"Princess Twilight! What do we do? Our magic is gone!"
"Calm down every pony. We will figure this out."
"Should we go check on Cozy Glow and Tirek in Tartarus again?" Fluttershy suggested
"I'm not sure. I don't want to chance it and then we can't get out. Even if we get to the gate of Tartarus I don't think I can open up it up without magic. This could be the end of Equestria if we don't don't do something."
Over at the Tree of Harmony...
"Good work smashing the elements Tirek. Without them the tree won't be protected Twilight and her lackeys can't stop us and as for those creatures, I'll make sure they'll never reunite with each other ever again and I can finally wreak havoc and then all of Equestria will be mine." Both menially laugh
